"I know that, after what happened with ADAM. We can't let the humans anywhere here ever again. If those bastards come here on our shores. They will be wiped out," Sally said as Geoffrey nods his head.

"I hope Bunnie will be okay?" Sally wondered.

"So, is the planning ready to go?" Sonic asked.
'Yes, come to the chambers. He needs you to help set up the mission," Megan said as she led them back inside to be within Elias's military center.
"Good timing, I have already set up the mission to take back Westside Island," Elias brings up a hologram to show the chain of islands in the Acorn Archipelago to show Westside Island. "Okay, I need to move my forces around the island to take out Sally's rebel forces. This will be a large distraction for you and Mina to head deep behind enemy lines and head for the base of Metropolis. Bunnie is there, Sally's second in command. She needs to be captured," Elias said.
"Already, how do we get there? Like with our plane?" Mina asked.
"No, that would be too obvious. I have a better idea. In one of our ships, we can use to special transport capsule that can be fired from one of our cannons to mock your presence via naval barrage," Elias said.
'That's pretty smart," Mina said.
"Yes, their defenses are too strong by that old base which still has passive defenses still active," Rotor points out the location of landing. "You will land in the Hill Top zone on the island and go from there to head for the Metropolis base," Rotor said.
"Cool, seems like a plan," Sonic said as everyone set up to invade Westside Island.
Elsewhere Bunnie is trying out this new dark power coursing through her body to charge up her arm cannon to fire a purple beam to destroy a set of Egg Pawns with ease. "Oh yeah, this is amazing," Bunnie said as she is detecting the royal navy approaching the island.

Elsewhere the royal navy is engaging the island defenses of the rebels. Sonic and Mina are inside a capsule in a ship cannon ready to be fired at the Westside Island at Hilltop Zone. Mina and Sonic are hooked inside to embrace the impact as Sonic looks over to Mina to be very close to him.m

The duo's capsule smashes onto the side of a mountain by a pit of lava nearby. Mina knocks the hitch open with a kick as they appear within a familiar place. "Well, I haven't been here since I was Tails first dealing with the Death Egg," he said as they landed on the grass to see a land filled with wide valleys and hilltops filled with pits of lava.
"Gee, it's quite amazing to be here. One of the sites of your early adventures," Mina said wanting to fangirl out about this but holding back to focus on the mission. They run through the hills managing to pierce their defenses to see a bunch of mutant rebels guarding their path.
"Out of the way," Sonic said as he blasted through them to take them down with Mina tossing fireballs to blow them to pieces. Mina kicks a mutant soldier into a pit of lava to see them melt on the spot.
"Not good," Mina said as she zapped another group of mutant soldiers with Egg Pawns backing them up. Mina lobs a mini black hole to suck up all the mutant rebels and Egg Pawns to disappear into the imploding gravity well.
Sonic kicks an Egg Pawn into a pool of lava as he uses a Spin Dash to cut through several Egg Pawns. They both speed along a lake of lava with several Egg Hammers rushing at them with one of them slamming Mina with its huge hammer.
"Quake + Cube," Mina turns into a solid cube as the hammer breaks on impact to make the robot flinch. Sonic uses a Spin Dash to slam into the torso knocking it into the lake of lava.
Mina blows apart a few Egg Hammers with lightning bolts and fireballs. Mina turns into a pink spike ball to use a Spin Dash to smash the last Egg Hammer into the lava lake burning it into molten goo.
"All cleared," Sonic said as they ran all over the Hilltop Zone with Sonic and Mina bouncing off rocky walls to avoid the pits of lava below. Mina leaps into the air to go into her Cube Form to slam onto the ground below to trap all the mutant rebels and Egg Flappers into blue cubes. She stomps onto the ground to make the cubes killing them inside.
Sonic sets up a chain of Homing Attacks to take down Egg Flappers. Both of them use a Double Boost to blow through hordes of enemies to head closer to the old base.
Back within the base, Bunnie sees through a spy drone that Mina and Sonic are blasting through Hilltop Zone destroying her forces. "Oh boy, how did they get here? Those ships are distracting. Damn it. Well, I better take care of them with my new powers," Bunnie said as she felt a sharp sting in her back.
"Sally, I love you like a sister. I need to stop him even if it kills me," Bunnie said as he powered up her rocket feet to fly toward Hilltop Zone.
Back with Sonic and Mina destroying Bunnie's forces while evading an energy beam from the sky. "You will not move any closer," Bunnie hovers in the air as she aims her arm cannon.
"Bunnie, you are in charge of the base here?" Sonic asked.
"Yes and I will not let you get any closer," Bunnie throws herself at Sonic to tackle him and grabs his throat to slam him onto the side of a cliff.
"Damn, she is fast. Where did this power come from?" Sonic wondered as Bunnie kicked him through the rocks leaving a hole behind.
"Sonic," Mina uses Cyan Laser to speed towards her with Bunnie catching her via fast reflexes to knock her towards the lake of lava. She empowers herself with Hover to make her float above the lava and get back onto the grass.
She is throwing several fireballs and lightning bolts with Bunnie making a force field to block all her attacks. "How did she get some strong?" she questioned as she stepped out of the way of a flying kick from Bunnie which was strong enough to make a large crater in the impact zone.
"No one is getting past me," Bunnie said as Mina reinforced her legs to strike at Bunnie. The cyborg rabbit blocks it but she feels shaken by Mina's powerful strike. She uses Hover to make Bunnie float in the air as she is peppering her with fireballs.
Sonic slams into Bunnie with a Spin Dash to be beside Mina. "Surrender now, you don't have to do this," Sonic said.
"I do sugar hog," Bunnie charges at them but they dodge her blow. Bunnie fires a large sonic blast to send them flying but they regain their balance.
"Why do you hate humans and why stop Elias from allying with the United Federation?" Mina trying to understand Bunnie's and Sally's points of view.
"Humans are brutish and selfish, why would we want that? It's better the kingdom stay independent and goes its way," Bunnie said as she fired a Gatling laser to pepper the area with explosive energy bolts.
Sonic and Mina split off to avoid the explosions with Sonic slingshot at Bunnie. She stops his Spin Dash with her robotic arm but Mina slips through to kick her in the stomach. Sonic kicks her in the head to knock her back. Bunnie spits blood onto the grass as she still stands strong being empowered by the dark crystal.
"Sally wants to keep the humans out and I will help her do that," Bunnie said as Sonic shook his head at this.
"Gee, you remind me of a certain black hedgehog in the past before he saw the light. You are wrong about humanity, we need each other," Sonic said as Bunnie laughed at this.
"Are you crazy, Mobians and Humans are not the same," Bunnie said as she pounded the ground to unleash a shockwave but Mina leaps over it to kick her into a wall. Sonic smashes Bunnie to pound her further into the cliff.
"Wrong again, Mobians and Humans are related. We are a human subspecies, your bigoted comments are beyond stupid," Mina said as Bunnie didn't believe the truth.

"Geoffrey leads us to the truth about humans and their selfish ways," Bunnie said as she leaped at them with Mina and Sonic delivering a powerful kick to clash with Bunnie's robotic strength to overpower her to knock her onto the grassy floor.
"He is an idiot. Mobians are pretty bad too like Breezy who exploits the oceans and the environment for her selfish ends to grow her business. Someone you worked with," Mina said to make Bunnie sound like a hypocrite.
"It's all a means to an end," Bunnie tried to justify herself but their words were breaking her focus. Mina uses the Color Combo of Laser + Drill to speed at the speed of light toward Bunnie. Bunnie grabs the yellow drill but the raw power of Mina's attack overpowers her and slams her robotic arm.
Mina kicks her head to launch Bunnie towards Sonic. He uses his Boost to slam into Bunnie to make her crash into a wall as she is getting badly injured barely on her feet.
"Man, this Sally is pushing you through this huh?" Sonic asked as Bunnie saw her legs were damaged and her robotic arm was destroyed.
"Of course, even what you said is true and my hatred for humans was not founded. I still want to help my best friend even if I die to do it," Bunnie said as she felt the power of the dark crystal pulsing through her body.
"Sad but we need to take you in," Sonic said as Mina was about to capture Bunnie but something was amiss. A surge of dark power courses through Bunnie as her body is twisted by the magical energy.
"What's going on?" Bunnie questioned looking frightened for she was losing her mind. Her arm slot begins to grow a large organic blade made from bone with her rocket feet powering up again.
"Oh crap, here she comes," Mina said as Bunnie goes into slashing Mina as she get cut in the arm.
"Mina," Sonic said to sound worried with a bloody wound on her left arm.
"Don't worry, I am okay," Mina said as Bunnie looked at them with her eyes losing light in them for the dark power had taken over her mind becoming a ravaging beast. "Gee, Naugus's dark magic is transforming her into a monster," Mina said.
"She loses her mind, we need to end this quickly," Sonic said.
"It's sad, sticking to her best friend to the end despite all the stuff messing with her mind," Mina said. Sonic sees the mutated Bunnie using her bone-bladed arm to rip up the ground. She flies towards Sonic to aim her bone blade at his head.
Sonic ducks under the lunge to barely dodge it as he kicks her into the air. Mina creates clones to distract Bunnie to make her confused to slash a clone. The clone explodes to knock her onto the ground to be near a lava lake.
Mina thinks quickly to use her clones to push Bunnie into the lava lake. Bunnie regains her balance to leash out her bladed arm like a whip heading for the duo. The blade slams onto the grass emitting powerful shockwaves to knock them around. Bunnie leaps over onto Mina to stomp her metal foot onto Mina's head.
Mina shocks Bunnie with lightning as Mina kicks Bunnie with Sonic slamming her with a Spin Dash. Bunnie gets knocked near the lava lake.
"We need to destroy that crystal on her back," Mina said as a bright purple glow was coming from her damaged back.
"Okay, you distract her while I go destroy the crystal," Sonic said as he sped off with Mina using her lightning clones to distract Bunnie. Each clone damages Bunnie with electric blasts but she keeps going just using brute force to try to kill Mina.
Bunnie leashes her blade arm with Mina summoning a wall of stone to block it and uses stone spikes to shoot out of the ground. Bunnie uses her jet feet to avoid the attacks with Sonic jumping off a cliff to aim for the crystal.
Sonic tackles the crystal to damage it to sees it leaking power as Bunnie's body is acting up. Her bladed arm is acting up with Mina kicking her several times and upper kicking her into the air. She fires a wave of energy to make her float into the air leaving her helpless.
"Now, end this now," Mina said as Sonic used a Light Speed Attack to destroy the crystal on impact. The crystal explodes as Bunnie falls to the ground the crystal taking a huge toll on her body killing her on the spot.
The duo looks down to see the rabbit woman losing her life trying to fight for something she believed in even if it's based on a bigoted lie. "Too bad but now the commander is gone. We can get rid of the defenses in the old base," Mina said as they sped towards the Metropolis base.
Within the flagship of the royal strike team, Rotor noticed something was odd with the forces becoming more disorderly. "Rotor, this is Sonic. We managed to take out the base commander Bunnie and shut off the coastal defenses," he said on the radio.
"Good work but it's quite sad to see Bunnie go. I remember her being a lovely girl but Geoffrey got to her and the rest is now history. I will get our troops to gather her body and give her a burial. At least, she can't hurt anyone else anymore," Rotor said to cut off the radio.
Sonic and Mina were in a command tower that overlooks the old base that he and Tails raided so many years ago. "Gee, this takes me back and this place has seen better days," Sonic commented as the buildings and walls were worn with rust.
"Yes but now we can keep going and assault South Island. Your home isle," Mina said as Sonic took a breath.
"We need to head for Knothole Village and search the old orphanage building to look for what Ms. Buckbeak talked about," Sonic said as their mission was completed for them to hook up with the rest of the royal fleet freeing Westside Island from rebel hands.
Elsewhere Sally is in her room, deeply upset that her best friend Bunnie Rabbot is dead. She saw the spy drone that looked over the battle and saw the dark magic turn Bunnie into a mindless monster. The power is too great to manage and died from that.
"Bunnie, you pushed yourself because of me. You should have run but you stand by me even in the face of death, you are a true friend I am honored to have known," Sally said as now she went to her next plan. "Naugus, I need your help with something," Sally said to call him via telepathy.
He teleports into her room to hear about the bad news. "Seems like Miss Bunnie didn't cut it," Naugus said as he showed a fake sympathy almost in a mocking tone but Sally dismissed this. Sally steels herself to prepare for her next objective.
"Yes, but I need you to help me go into the castle to kidnap my niece Alexis. He will lead a mission himself to raid South Island to find her. We can kill him, Sonic, and his mongoose along with Alexi when we are done with her," Sally said as Naugus liked this plan.
"Killing several birds with one stone. Very devilish idea princess," Naugus said as he teleported them both into Acorn Castle.
Alexis is playing in her room when she hears a cracking sound in her closet. "What is that?' she questioned as the door opened Sally showed up. "Auntie Sally, why are you there?" the little girl asked as Sally approached her.
"You are coming with me to bait for my brother," Sally pulls out a dart gun to fire a sleeping needle to hit her neck and knock her out. She grabs onto her new hostage, leaves a note behind and Naugus teleports them out of there for the civil war goes into a new phase.
