After the revolution, Hank and Connor continue their work as detectives, investigating android-related crimes. But quickly, they realize that with human-like sentience comes human-like problems. Androids may have been granted basic rights, but the fight for justice is far from over.

Gavin and Nines have a busy few days. They're going on a stag-weekend in the woods to meet Tina's fiance. Gavin can't believe he hasn't met the guy before, but maybe it's for good reason. The wedding is in a month, and it's Gavin's job to make sure everything goes as planned.

When Richard is injured on a joint operation, Hank can't help feeling responsible. Luckily, Richard has the perfect task for Hank to make it up to him. Someone will have to watch his pets while he's in the hospital.

Hank is having trouble breeding his chickens this season. Why you ask? Because the new guy next door got some fancy black chickens, and his rooster is throwing Gavin off his game! Hank and Richard are going to have to come to some sort of arrangement to make this work, otherwise Nines and Gavin will both end up being Sunday dinner!

The plot revolves around the work of the Detroit Police Department, with the focus on android Connor and Detective Gavin Reed.
