Loona carried Balin into her bedroom after his shower and sat him down on her bed.

"OK Balin, we'll be heading off to work in a bit for real this time." she spoke to him. "But first, we need to freshen you up a bit. Maybe... change one little thing about you."

"Sure thing Loona." replied the kid. "What is it?"

Loona then framed Balin using her fingers like a camera, and started tracing around his body like a game of Pictionary.

"Oooh! I love this game!" he boomed with excitement. "Uhh..."

Seeing this go a different direction, Loona tried so hard not to laugh at this cute guessing display.

"Oh, I got it." Balin cleared his throat as he made his guess. "Sexiness!"

That suddenly got Loona bursting in a fit of laughter.

"No, silly." she ruffled his hair still chuckling. "Why don't you try and guess something else about you?"

"Okay. A boy?" he guessed again, making Loona shake her head every time he'd get it wrong.

"A kid?"

"A human?"

"Ooh! Adorable!" he then froze with his eyes widened, and thought to himself: "Wait, no, that can't be it."

"Nah, you had it right the second time little dude." said Loona. "A human."

"Really" asked Balin curiously. "But what do you mean?"

"Well, you see, kiddo, humans aren't really supposed to be seen in Hell, let alone know Hell exists." explained Loona. "But that was only 'til I brought you here last night. So if you're gonna stay with us for a while, the other demons can't know you're here. No matter how cute you can be, someone will always wanna pick up a fight. So what we're gonna do is blend you in with the crowd, maybe with a demon disguise. Sound cool?"

"Oh. That's... that's cool." Balin was liking the idea, but was still worried.

"Hey, what's the matter?" said Loona with a concerned smile. "I think you'll look cool in that too."

"I know. It's just..." explained Balin. "I know that this is Hell, full of scary demons, and I know this is how you want to take care of me, but sometimes... I just love to be cute and innocent. I don't want that to go away if I make any more friends here."

Loona's ears lowered again seeing this kid's worry like this.

It was so unlike her to have these kinds of feelings, since the only person she could ever count them on was herself, and Blitzø when need be. But with what this kid's been through, it was understandable to her. After all, a promise is a promise.

"Hey, I told you that I love how humble you are." she placed a paw on Balin's shoulder. "But I don't want you feeling as though you have to change and forget who you are, not even for me. Hell is full of scary demons, yes, but even I get scared too. Disguise or no, just know I... I..."

Loona stuttered for a bit trying to find the right words. Or rather, the right way to say the three words. Until she breathed, showed a smile, and finished saying:

"I like you. For exactly who you are."

Balin showed a heart-wrenched look on his face. Those three words were close enough, but the smile was all he needed.

"Thank you Loona. And, I like you too." he said, making Loona blush.

"Come here, kiddo." she opened her arms for a hug, and her friend embraced her as she gently stroked his hair with her claws. "After all, inside every demon, there's a rainbow."

She then rolled her eyes with a chuckle at that part, until a few seconds later, she let go of him and broke the hug.

"Okay, now, first off, I've spent the morning making these."

With a swish of her tail, Loona laid out three A3 pieces of paper on the floor, showing what he could dress-up as: An imp, a hellhound, or a sinner.

"You saw a lot of demons through my hair yesterday. So which one would you like to disguise as?" she asked him.

The boy crouched down trying to find the perfect form to take on, scratching his chin like a detective doing so. Loona smiled in her head, thinking of how cute it was to see him reading like that.

"Decisions, decisions... I'm not quite sure... HELLHOUND!" Balin then yelled out his option in a hurry, surprising Loona once again.

"Hellhound, it is, cheeky little pup." she giggled as she tickled his cheek with her snout.

After doing that, Loona went to her closet and started digging through the entire wardrobe like a dog, as Balin watched her tail wagging slowly in the air. But alas, she couldn't find any related material to make the disguise he requested.

"Hmm... I'll be right back Balin." she said as she grabbed her purse.

"Where are you going?" asked the boy.

"There's a party store next to this apartment." she replied. "Hopefully, it'll have what I need to make the perfect hellpup costume."

Balin then showed a puzzled look at what a hellpup was.

"Hellhound? Puppy?" teased Loona, swishing her tail from left to right once.

"OOOH! I see what you did there." he said, getting the word.

"Now, I want you to stay here and wait for me. If you hear a knock at the door, don't answer it and hide. Got it?" Loona told him calmly.

"I promise." said Balin as she blew him a kiss and left the apartment.

AT THE PARTY STORE...

Loona searched the costume section of the party store for any fake hellhound gear.

After a few searches, she found a hoodie with fur all over it, a long fake bushy tail, and fake hound ears.

She looked at the different sizes of the hoodies to see which one would fit the boy best. In Hell, the normal size of a demon would be of a teenager, even as an adult. Humans though were a different story.

Nonetheless, after a few seconds, Loona found the right sized fur-hoodie she thought would best suit him, then grabbed the ears and tail and made her way to pay.

A couple of male hounds along the way tried to touch her, and she either growled them away with a scary look or they hid from her before she could do that.

But at that moment, it was easier said than done.

Via was also at the party store looking for another disguise after accidentally tearing a hole in her current one.

She also couldn't shake the feeling that something unusual was going on with Loona after seeing her with Balin back at her apartment, so she wanted to keep a 'bird's-eye' on her.

As she texted on her phone, Loona looked up at the cashier to pay her the money before spotting Via from far away with her keen vision. Finished with the payment, she walked over to her to see if it actually was. She was wrong before, but her sense of smell didn't stop her.

Slowly, Loona crept up behind her and touched her shoulder saying "Via?" causing her to jump in fright.

"FUCK!" she exclaimed, then quickly tried speaking in an American accent seeing her first friend. "Via? Who's this Via you're talking about?"

"Via..." she sternly sang crossing her arms, obviously not buying that voice she and I.M.P knew well. "Don't lie to me."

At that rate, Via decided the game was no use and gave a sigh of defeat, reverting back to her British accent.

"Second time finding me by coincidence, huh?" she retorted.

"I'm just stoked that you're back and a-okay now." she nervously replied.

"Thanks... Loona, was it?"

"Yep."

The two had a bit of an awkward silence before Via whispered in her ear: "Can I ask you something?"

"Lay it on me, Your Highness?" she awkwardly replied.

"Why do you have a human child in your apartment?" Via whispered again, before covering her mouth as Loona gasped and dropped her phone.

"HOW, did you, KNOW?!" she turned towards her in a panicky seethe.

"Don't get rabid with me, but I was gonna see you earlier to talk and... I promise I won't tell my dad!"

"Good. Not even if he finds out first. 50/50?"

"Deal." Via shook the hellhound's hand, revealing her talons.

"Hey, look over there!" a hoard of gremlin-like imps were shown as they saw Via. "Let's pick-pocket her!"

The imps started running towards her. Via stood there frozen as Loona tried to make her run.

"Goddammit!" she groaned loudly in annoyance, as she got on all fours and bit her tail feathers, causing Via to run away screaming with the gremlins still after her.

A few other demons out front of the store heard the distinctive scream and started taking photos for social media as they watched the chase.

Loona, on the other hand, kept very quiet, shrugged it off, and walked away quickly with her phone. She wondered along the way why the Goetia princess had returned all of a sudden and saw her with her new friend.

BACK AT THE APARTMENT...

Meanwhile, Balin was getting creative with disguise ideas of his own.

He grabbed two out of six bags of white chocolate and only one milk from the pantry, put them in two seperate mixing bowls, and put them in the microwave to melt. Once they did, he grabbed a paintbrush, dipped it into the white chocolate, and lathered it all over his face, arms, and neck.

"'Kay, kiddo, I'm back." announced Loona, returning with the costumes.

She then saw Balin on the balcony doing his own personal make-up.

"Hey, what you doing out there?" she asked him calmly.

"Just getting some of my disguise ready, Loona!" he called back to her.

He then came inside to show her him covered with the white chocolate.

"WHOA! WHOA! WHOA!" she gasped in shock and amusement. "Kiddo, what did you do?"

"I just made myself a hellpup." answered the boy.

"How? This doesn't look like make-up." she said taking a sniff of him, which made him giggle in a ticklish way. "Is that my chocolate?"

"Uhh, yeah?" he replied, started to feel guilty and stupid with himself.

"How many bags of this stuff did you use?" she asked in shock.

"One white and one milk? Only for dots."

Loona then realised what he was doing, having picked his breed, and laughed.

"You're trying to be a Dalmatian, aren't you?" she chuckled.

Balin shrugged his shoulders as a response.

"Awww, you really are so effing adorable. Come here!"

Loona then scooped him up in her arms for a tight hug, which made Balin sigh and return the hug in relief, thinking she would be cross with him.

"Uhm, Loona? Can you please put me down before you start licking me like a lollipop or melt the chocolate with your warm fur?" he asked kindly. "I still want to impress the public."

"Got it, kiddo." replied Loona, doing just that and licking the chocolate off her maw. "Sorry."

"Nah, it's okay." chuckled the boy.

"With all seriousness, maybe ask if you could do that again." she spoke. "I'll buy you some make-up anyway."

"Yes Loona." replied Balin politely.

"Well then, I'll help you with the rest. Pongo!" Loona then grabbed the brush and started painting milk chocolate dots on his cheeks.

A FEW MOMENTS LATER...

The fully-disguised and dried-up Dalmatian Balin sat down at the couch as Loona showed him the disguises, with the curtains closed for fun.

"Okay Balin. I found some perfect purebred fur-suits for you to test out." she said. "Hopefully, those should be your size. Just have a try and strut your stuff."

"Like a fashion show?" exclaimed an excited Balin. "Sounds like fun!"

"Yeah. One that actually WILL be fun." smirked Loona with a scoff. "Just take your time. We need to be at work by 10."

Playing some hip-hop music, Balin tried on so many of Loona's different fur-coats.

BREED ONE: German Shepherd Loona = Thumbs down.

BREED TWO: Irish wolfhound Loona = Shake her head.

BREED THREE: Different dog like features Loona = Shakes her head gritting her teeth in cringe.

FINALLY: Alaskan Malamute Loona = Gives him a rock 'n' roll sign sticking her tongue out with a smile.

"Whoo-hoo! Balin Johnson, you are officially an Alaskan-Dalmatian hellpup." she knighted him as she clapped.

Loona then gave him a lick on the forehead as a seal of approval, luckily not removing any white chocolate there.

"Yay!" shouted Balin playfully, before asking "Now can we go?"

"Of course we can." chuckled Loona, as she grabbed hold of his hand.

Soon, Loona and the boy walked out of the apartment and were on their way to I.M.P.

"I can't wait to see the look on Moxxie's face when we arrive late." she grinned to herself.

"Why?" asked her now-hellhound buddy.

"Oh, don't worry." she said to him. "It's just grown-up stuff we do at work."
