After their tasty treats at Frost-Biters, Balin and his hellhound friends, now including Marijiana and Neptune, walked out front to see Bee waiting for them.

"Queen Bee!" Balin called out running up to her.

"Ohh, there's my... not-human!" exclaimed Bee, getting on her knees and opening her arms for a hug.

"I believe the word you're searching for is hellpup." remarked Loona with a grin.

"You doing okay after last night, sweetie?" asked Bee as she cuddled her little friend. "Feelin' all shook up or anything?"

"Yeah. I had a little headache today, but Loona made it all better." he replied.

Loona then patted his head with a smile. "Just happy to help, kiddo." she said.

Soon, the queen looked up at his two new hellhound friends with cute toothy smiles.

"And how did you two find the little guy?"

"He's so cute, kind, and sweet!" Marijiana replied. "And he's really great with us doggies." added Neptune.

Loona then chuckled as Bee handed Balin to her arms.

"So Bee, we decided to have a little afternoon hangout together." she said. "Care to join?"

"Oh, you know it, bitch!" replied Bee energetically. "So where do we wanna go first, kid?"

As Balin scratched his chin thoughtfully like a detective, Neptune and Marijiana playfully joined in. Until Neptune got an idea.

"Ooh! How 'bout Stylish Occult?" she suggested excitedly.

The others nodded, but Balin having heard that name wasn't entirely sure and Loona sensed it.

"Oh yeah. That place looked scary to you, didn't it?" she chuckled before soothing him. "Just stand close to me, and I'll make sure nothing bad happens there."

"We go shopping there all the time, lil' man." added Tex more heartily. "There's lots of great clothes and jewellery there."

"Clothes? Jewellery?" replied Balin, feeling a little brave now. "I-I-If you're sure."

"SWEET!" Neptune and Marijiana squealed in unison, as they started running in that direction.

"We promise you'll like it, darling!" Neptune exclaimed to him as they sprinted.

...

AT STYLISH OCCULT...

Tex and Bee had a little fashion show of their own, seeing which gothic attire suited them the most. Neptune and Marijiana acted as the judges, while some demons stopped by to have a watch.

Meanwhile, Loona took Balin for a little look-around as she held him still in her arms.

For the first few minutes, he was nervous about the scenery. But seeing some of the cool clothes and asking Loona if he could try one on, he was starting to see it was actually a cool place.

Coming out of the dressing room, he wore a small X-small t-shirt with a heavy-metal rubber ducky on it saying 'Duck Society!' in a disturbing font.

"How do I look?" asked the boy.

"Hmm... in my opinion, 'rocking' adorable." Loona snapped her finger digging the look.

Soon, Balin saw all the taxidermy the store sold, and instead of being anxious, he actually was fascinated. It felt like he was at a museum, having watched a lot of museum movies with his parents to know there was more to them than spooks.

"What's that, Loona?" he soon pointed to an exhibit showing even scarier-looking hellhounds.

Loona then looked at them, but before she could avert his gaze so he wouldn't get scared, Bee took him for a closer look.

"These are Lesser hellhounds, Balin." she explained softly. "Long ago, when cavemen existed in your world, this used to be the hellhounds you're hanging with today. Except these ones were faster, stronger, and just as deadly. The one thing different from humans and hellhounds, was that instead of evolving into intelligent beings over time, some lessers remain among us. We tried evolving them ourselves using a little magic and science over centuries, but now, they're past evolution status, meaning they're eternally feral from birth."

Balin was stunned hearing this story from Bee, as Loona held him close to her.

"Nowadays, they reside in the Wrath ring, where all the other beasts of Hell hunt for whatever meal could be next for their teeth." she continued. "And I mean, 'whatever.' So stay away from them, sweetie. They're the REAL hounds of Hell."

"Okay, Bee. He gets it." Loona stopped her. "He'll know now to stay away, he's heard enough. F-For now."

"Are these ones like werewolves?" asked Balin.

"What do you mean?" asked Bee back.

"When I met Loona, I thought she was a werewolf, before she told me she's a hellhound." the boy explained.

"...In a way, kiddo." responded Tex with a shoulder past. "Now c'mon gals, let's go pay for these two's stuff."

As the four walked away, Neptune and Marijiana stayed behind looking at the taxidermy.

"Is this really what we used to be since the dawn of time?" asked Neptune.

"There's so many... b-b-bones..." stuttered Marijiana.

"Girl, I can't tell if you're horrified or hungry." giggled Bee as she dragged the two away from the displays.

MEANWHILE, WITH MOXXIE and MILLIE...

Millie was a pro at the play structures made out of dangerous weaponry. This play centre was like a gym used for those to let out their anger issues and exercise. Sorta like therapy.

In order to get to the shooting range at the end of the structures, Millie jumped across a pile of guns in a zig-zag formation before pulling the lever for three gun-slinging casino robots, which she had to slide across in under 10 seconds.

Moxxie followed behind her, struggling with each obstacle course.

Millie was now swimming in a pool of guns doing a doggy paddle without setting off any of the triggers.

"Ha ha ha! I told ya this was a killer game, Moxxie!" she shouted to her husband with a couple of grunts.

"That's what I'm afraid of!" Moxxie swam through the guns like a drowning duck until he sank. "Oh crumbs!"

Millie then made it to the end of the play structures just in time, with only 29 seconds to spare, before grabbing out her prop gun and shooting down a bunch of fake targets in 4 straight ones.

"YEE-FUCKING-HAW!" she shouted, slapping her knee like a country girl. "Now that's what I'm talkin' about!"

Panting, Moxxie soon caught up with her.

"If we go on another mission in the next three days, you mind giving me a Heimlich?" he breathed heavily. "I think I swallowed some gunpowder, or a bullet. Or six."

Millie then laughed as she rustled her husband's fuzzy white head and cuddled him to calm him down.

AT THE CINEMA...

Balin and the hounds arrived at the Full Moon-Light cinema.

While some of the hell-made movies proved to violent or sexual for the boy to watch, judging by the posters, Loona chose to watch any movie that sinners missed out on during their time on Earth.

"Hey, guys!" she called out to them, as they were buying some candy and popcorn. "Do any of y'all wanna watch some Earth flicks?"

"Sure, I'm down." Tex called back to her, then he spoke to Balin. "Are there any films that tickle your fancy, lil' man?"

Balin then saw the movie programs next to the counter and picked up one of them to look at what movies were on, until one caught his eye the most.

"What about Barbie?" he asked.

'Barbie' may have been everyone's favourite movie right now, yet it was the boy's today.

"Yeah, we're down with that." agreed Tex. "Loona?"

"...Sure..."

Normally, Loona wouldn't be interested in watching movies like that, especially about bimbos like Barbie. But for the boy, she gave it her shot.

As the gang walked into the auditorium with their snacks, Loona ruffled the hair of an excited Balin, showing a smile of her own as the movie started.

Before long, when the theme song 'What Was I Made For?' began playing, some mascara rolled down a frozen Loona's furry cheeks as she teared up.

Bee, the other two hounds, even Tex all sobbed at the emotional scene it was played in.

BARBIE - "So... being human is not something I need to... ask for or... even one I could just... that's something I discover I am?"

Balin listened closely to that emotional scene and the song lyrics, thinking about how much his family life back home had changed. He even started feeling worried about it a little.

...

THE ARCADE...

Blitzø and M&M arrived at the arcade to see the boy back on Guitar Hero. This time, playing:

'YOUTH GONE WILD' by SKID-ROW.

The five hellhounds were all impressed watching him in his element, while Neptune and Marijiana's tails wagged with excitement.

"Damn, who knew the kid could shred?" smirked an also-impressed Blitzø.

After the game, the crowd cheered and clapped, especially his friends who gave him head-pats, even hugs and kisses.

"That was awesome, mini dude." Marijiana exclaimed proudly.

"I had no idea you played the guitar like that." Tex rustled the boy's head.

Loona then looked to see the I.M.P crew watching the show and groaned feeling unhappy. "Look who decided to show up."

"Ugh. Loona." greeted Moxxie flatly in return.

Soon, Balin was at a crane game with Bee. He tried to get a special prize for Loona, which was a wolf-tooth ring.

He only had five goes to do so, but with every try, Balin failed to get the special gift he wanted. He almost managed to grab the box by the bow at the final game, but sadly sighed having still failed.

Loona caught his sigh as Bee rubbed his back.

"Hey, what's going on?" she asked kindly.

"I wanted to get you something Loona." he explained. "To say thank you for looking after me for the week. I wanted to get you a ring from the claw game."

"Oh darling." smiled Loona.

"But I couldn't do it." he continued with another sigh.

"Hey, c'mon, don't be sad." she soothed him. "How 'bout this."

Loona then pulled out a tuft of fur out of her tail and moulded it into a little bracelet for him.

"Here you go."

"What is this?" he asked in surprise.

"You've been so brave these last few times we've left you by yourself, from Verosika to Bee." she explained, handing him the bracelet. "I think it's time I gave you this gift, to remember me by one day. A fur bracelet I could use to sniff you down whenever we drift apart or you return to your mom and dad so we can hang some more."

Balin then ran up to the hellhound and gave her a big hug. "Thank you Loona. This is the best gift ever." he smiled.

"You're welcome, sweetheart." Loona knelt down and returned the hug with her tail slowly swishing.

This display of affection lasted a really long time, and she didn't care if any demons stopped and stared, not even Blitzø.

Moxxie and Millie however saw this as they were playing another shooting game, watching in awe.

"You know Moxx, through all your teasing and hollering, I think you may be right 'bout the big girl." said Millie.

"You mean, about her being...?"

"Motherly? Yeah. I mean, look at them."

This made Moxxie surprised with a smile.

"Yeah, I can see it. It's like... they actually are made for each other. They both must've gone through so much as to have fate draw them together in this capacity." he said quietly.

Soon, the speakers said: "Time for laser tag! Time for laser tag!"

"Laser tag?!" exclaimed Blitzø. "Oh fuck yeah, you wanna join me?" he then asked the gang.

...

Soon, the entire gang were split into three teams having put on different coloured vests.

- Balin, Loona, and Blitzø were Team Red.

- Millie, Tex, and Marijiana were Team Green.

- Neptune, Moxxie, and Bee were Team Blue.

As the game started and the rock music played, Balin and Loona ran alongside each other with their mad-ass gymnastic skills, even the ones they used on the night they met.

But soon, when they reached the top floor of the maze with a few more people there, Loona then thought of an idea.

She put the laser gun in her mouth and dropped down on all fours.

"Alright Balin, hop on!" her voice was muffled by the gun.

Balin swung his legs up as he got onto her back, then Loona started sprinting across the maze with the boy whoever he saw in their stealth mode.

Loona somehow had a chance to shoot them with the focus of her fangs as well, but the more legs, the more faster she was.

Blitzø noticed this and pouted. "Hey! That's cheating *happily* Daddy's so proud of you, Loonie!"

The others were also impressed by the stunts these two were doing and tried it as well.

After a few dodges, swings, and flips, each imp soon got on a hellhound's back and began shooting at each other. Millie was on Tex's back and Moxxie was on Bee's, who didn't use her wings.

Blitzø continued shooting at random people through the game, until he noticed Neptune and Marijiana shooting each other using some signature badass tactics.

"That's it, girls! Rough each other up! You can do it!" he shouted to them.

Using Loona's gun-in-the-mouth tactic, Neptune and Marijiana got on all fours and prowled slowly through the maze without being spotted, until they made it past each other and started shooting every target in the maze, including the small targets on the wall, with every first try they got.

This made Blitzø so intrigued, he then got an idea.

Soon, the game had ended.

"Game over. Please proceed to exit." the robotic voice on the gun packs said.

As the gang checked their names on the guns before putting them away, they ran out to the TV out front to see who won. The winner was the Red Team, which made Loona and Balin howl.

"How the hell did that happen?!" exclaimed Blitzø in surprise. "I didn't even get a lotta clean shots in this game!"

"That's why ya still came last, sir." giggled Millie, pointing to the leaderboard.

"Dammit!" groaned the boss.

Loona meanwhile picked up Balin for another hug. "I'm so proud of you, kiddo!" she cooed as her tail wagged.

"And I of you, Loona." he giggled in response.

...

SUPERMARKET...

"Uh, Loona? Why are we at the supermarket?" Balin asked as Loona carried a shopping basket in one paw, and his hand in another. "Don't we have enough food at home?"

"Well I was thinking... today was so much fun, having made some new friends and hung out with them, maybe we could have a picnic with them another time. How does that sound?"

"Ooh, sounds like fun." smiled Balin. "Maybe we can get some... oh! Chocolate."

He cheekily tried to grab a block or a bar without Loona knowing, but somehow she did and grabbed them before he did.

"Uh-uh-uh. Nice try, kiddo." she chuckled with a smirk.

"Aw, man!" pouted Balin playfully.

"Sorry bud, but we can't have an all-chocolate picnic." she spoke softly. "We at least need to add some meat and proteins to it, so you can grow up big and strong afterwards, like us."

"What fun would that be?" chuckled Balin, getting Loona to laugh a little.

"Tell you what, I'll grab just one chocolate bar." she said putting the chocolate bar into the basket as she continued. "Then you can help with some of the other foods."

"Good idea, Loona."

"Good little one." the hellhound then tickled her nose against his before the two kept walking.
