The entire I.M.P gang were all flabbergasted to hear that Balin felt like he was finally ready to see his parents again, as he sat in his chair in the waiting area.

"Loona?" he said. "When you told me the crystal can take you guys anywhere in the world, didn't you say you could take me to see my family, right?"

"Yeah? ...I did." she replied.

But secretly, she was uncertain about the decision. She'd obviously meant the rest of his family.

"Well, if this Stella monster is after me, then..." the boy continued. "What if Mr. Stolas is right? What if this is for the best?"

"Oh, darling." Via spoke softly, kneeling down to give him a kiss on the forehead.

"Buddy, you don't have to do that for us." Millie said, sitting next to him.

"Yeah, we can still keep you safe down here." agreed Moxxie. "All we have to do is hide you harder."

"But Uncle Moxxie, maybe I could protect you guys too." Balin replied before showing a small smile. "I've been told a lot about Hell, but seeing it now, it deserves to be safe."

While everyone flushed emotionally hearing that from him, Loona soon got another idea on why he wanted to do this.

"I feel like this is about something else." she asked him with a raised eyebrow of concern. "It's those nightmares. Isn't it?"

Balin then let out a sad sigh, knowing he couldn't deny it with her. "I guess I just want to see how they're doing without me." he said.

Loona began rubbing the back of the little kid's head in sympathy.

"...I hate to break it to ya, kid." Blitzø began speaking. "But as long as your folks are in that safe crib, I don't think anyone's gonna let you visit until they capture whichever a-hole got you separated from the get-go."

Moxxie then gave Blitzø an unamused head-slap. "Sir, not helping. Again." he said through his teeth.

"Besides, we don't even know where they could be." added Loona.

"Can't you just sniff the text Mr. Blitzø showed me?" asked Balin curiously. "I've seen you do that with paper before."

"That's different. Those were targets, and this is a place we could search for days." the hellhound replied. "Plus, I'd need a scent to smell.*sigh*I'm sorry kiddo. I kills me to agree but Blitzø may be right."

Blitzø then looked to his daughter with a nearly-confused look on his face.

"Actually, madam Loona, there is a way of smelling out where they are." interjected Stolas. "Since we first met Balin, I've been looking at ways to stay in contact with relatives who are in this witness protection program."

"And that is?" Loona said with intrigue. Even without showing it on her face as usual.

"Blitzy may be onto something after all." the prince continued. "If contacting them doesn't work, then why not try convincing his earthly council to let him?"

"And how do you propose that, dad?" asked Via.

"Simple. Loona could adopt him, but what if she 'faked' an adoption form?"

"WHAT?!" everyone in the room gasped, but then murmured in slight agreement.

"Wait a minute. Time out. Does that sound like a bad thing to do?" asked Balin defensively. "I wouldn't want Loona to get into trouble."

Hearing him care for her like that made Loona flush and twitch the tip of her tail.

"She won't, buddy." said Moxxie, as he rubbed his soft brown head. "If she can prove to have all the paperwork correctly filled out, while accurately forged, I'm sure the people can give you their location for a visit."

"But what if they notice the form's fake?" asked Balin again nervously. "They'll never let me see my mommy and daddy again after that."

"Then all you've gotta do is put on that 'sport' charm you've spun us into." Blitzø booped his nose cheekily. "That's how me and Loonie do it on our missions."

"When have you ever used charm?" asked Loona in her sarcasm.

"Oh, like that one time I forged your adoption form."

Loona was quietly stunned after hearing that from her adoptive dad. "Uh, what...?"

"Besides, most humans aren't that smart at times. That's why so many of them end up down here." said Millie, then she gasped looking back at Balin. "Ohh, sorry sweetie. I didn't mean you." she gently hugged him with one arm and caressed his cheek with the other hand.

"So, with all that, ... are you sure this is what you want?" Stolas asked the boy in concern.

"I don't know yet. It'll probably be a visit." Balin took his time to answer. "But if I do go back home, I want nothing but the safest for you, Mr. Stolas."

The owl demon then smiled solemnly to the kid and traced his hand along his head.

"You really do have a good soul, child." he said as he gave the little boy a hug.

Admittedly, Balin felt a little ticklish from Stolas' feathers as they brushed up against him in the embrace.

...

Moments later, Loona made a call to the No-Name Town council for an appointment on the location, as the operator told her she needed to have an adoption certificate all prepped up for the event.

Hearing her say that, Loona smirked on the other side of the phone with a cunning plan on how to get one.

Meanwhile, Balin was outside of Verosika's office speaking with her and Tex about the news.

"You excited to see mommy and daddy again, sweetie-pie?" asked Verosika, kneeling down in front of him.

"Yeah." he replied modestly.

"W'sup bud?" Tex asked sympathetically. "You look a little nervous."

"I'm okay. I just got butterflies in my tummy." he replied. "It may be a little visit, who knows?"

"Sounds like a plan." chuckled Tex. "I mean, who wouldn't wanna leave a deadly place like this?"

The male hellhound ruffled his hair as Verosika then picked him up and cradled him in her arms like a baby.

"Hey, I've got a surprise for you." she sang.

She grabbed a little piece of paper from her faux-fur coat and flew it to him like an aeroplane.

"Ooh, what's this?"

"If you'd like to stay and hang out at one of my next shows, this second baby is a backstage pass." replied Verosika.

"Who's the first?" asked Balin, tilted his head in curiosity.

"Awww." Verosika then booped his nose, pointing at him before rubbing his cheek with her thumb.

And even Blitzø had to admit this was a cute scene coming from his 'slutty' ex as he watched.

"You win this round again." he quietly snickered out loud. "Bitch."

"Control yourself, Blitzø." growled Via through her beak. "Loona told me 'bout you two."

As Blitzø chuckled nervously a few times, Via then smiled as she walked over to Verosika holding Balin in her arms.

"Okay, Loona's waiting for you at the entrance, little one." she chuckled at the sight.

Verosika then handed the snuggly boy to her, and as she walked off holding his hand, Balin waved goodbye to the two. Or farewell just in case.

"Hey." Via softly spoke. "If this is 'peace-out' sweetie, I just wanna thank you for having me babysit you. Even if it was a one-time gig."

"Don't worry Via, I'll still come back sometimes. Or someday" said Balin hopefully as he kissed her cheek, before she gave his another nibble with her beak. "...I probably won't miss that."

The two then laughed and giggled as they soon caught up with Loona, who was handed the Grimoire by Stolas for the journey ahead in surprise.

A FEW MOMENTS LATER...

At Loona's apartment, Balin equipped his backpack full of his old gear from back home, since his parents moved away from No-Name Town, along with some stuff from his new bedroom.

Soon, he was ready and walked out to see a well-dressed Loona about to go into her human form, giving him the perfect opportunity to call out:
"It's Loona Time!"
Right the blue flames could even ablaze around her.

She immediately turned her head to him as she did that, before scooping him into her arms.

"Tickle, tickle, tickle!"

4She began tickling his little tummy with her nails for about six seconds before putting him back down and opening a portal to No-Name with the Grimoire.

"You ready to go?" she asked him, holding her hand out for his.

"Yes, Loona." replied Balin, as he wrapped his backpack around her shoulders.

The two soon walked through the portal and ended up in a secluded part of the area next to the city council.

Holding hands, Loona and Balin walked inside the centre a couple of minutes later and went up to the receptionist desk.

"Hey, I recently booked an appointment for Loona, uggh..., Buckzø, for a witness protection visit?" she spoke to the receptionist flatly.

"Oh. Absolutely! Take a seat madam, and Burt'll be around shortly." she said in a cheerful expression, her smile like Miss Delight's from 'Poppy Playtime.'

"Whatever..." Loona replied blankly with some disturbance.

As the two sat at the couch, Loona bided her time looking around the centre, before clearing her throat.

"Okay, buddy! I'm going to the ladies!" she spoke loudly so the public could hear, before speaking quietly to the kid. "Now just wait right here, Balin. I'mma grab those papers, okay?"

"But where are they?" he asked out loud.

"Shhhhh." soothed Loona, as she then twitched her head to the office at the far end of the building.

"Okay, Loona." whispered Balin softly this time.

Loona then stood up from the couch and stretched. "Watch and learn, kiddo." she winked to him in another whisper.

A/N: Imagine some funky music playing in the background.

Soon, the hellhound-in-disguise began strutting her stuff through the council halls and the crowd of businessmen.

She stopped at the first one, a young intern, and trailed a finger from his chin down to his chest where his necktie was, making him gulp and freeze.

But that one was just for practice.

Her next 'prey' was an entrepreneur who like half of the others carried keys or cards to the printer rooms. So she immediately went into intern mode and put on some glasses, holding some papers close to her exposing breasts, and walked over to the businessman and nudged her head to the office she was strolling to.

She prayed in her face that it would work, and somehow, it did.

He became so swooned by her, he was just focused on walking to his next meeting and nothing else around him, as he threw her his keys.

Loona then looked back at Balin who discretely clapped, making her chuckle at his innocence once again.

Some men she slid past with her insane flexibility, a lot of which she knocked out were security guards, & the rest she purred and swooned with her sexiness until she made it to the office.

As she walked inside, she sniffed the filing cabinets for where the adoption forms were. And when she found it, she scrolled through the cabinet and grabbed one just in time for the lobby to clear out for their meetings at noon.

Like that, she walked back to the couch with Balin's surprised smile.

"How did you do that?" he asked in shock.

"That's what Mr. Blitzø calls the Loona charm." she laughed, ruffling his head before handing the papers to him quickly. "Now just sign here and here."

Balin grabbed a pen from his bag and wrote his own signature, which wasn't scribbly like lots of kids', before Loona did hers.

20 minutes later...

As Loona and Balin cuddled on the couch with no one watching at all, the lawyer she booked soon walked up to them and tried to shake them awake from the display.

"You have 5 seconds of removing or losing that hand." she sneered groggily.

"Oops. Sorry. Didn't mean to invade your privacy." he chuckled in response.

Loona then opened her eyes from the nap and quickly turned around to see it was the lawyer, and blushed.

"Oh, Satan! I-I mean, God! I'm-I'm so sorry sir." she apologised awkwardly.

If there was one thing Loona wasn't very good at, as well as people like Blitzø touching her, sometimes it was even apologising. But her natural side seemed to take over pretty well in her embarrassment.

"I take it this is little Balin Johnson." Burt the lawyer looked to the waking-up child. "Well, let's take this to my office."

...

Burt looked at the adoption papers, and although the writing was forged, he was still very well fooled.

"I gotta say Mrs. Buckzø, you got quite the resume." he said, mispronouncing the name.

"Apparently, the O's silent." replied Loona blankly. "Don't ask me, ask my adopted dad."

"Right, well either way, to know you somehow managed to adopt a kid who's only been in the safety of the state for at least a few days." he then looked at Balin. "You're a stud."

"What's a stud?" the little boy asked Loona.

"Don't worry, it's just adult stuff." she replied.

So Burt typed into the keyboard for the parents' protection case under 'Johnson, Elton & Raven' and soon printed off a paper with the address, before stamping 'CLASSIFIED' on it, as it showed them the location.

"Tathra?" Balin spoke softly. "We went on so many vacations there. Mommy and daddy always dreamed of living there."

"Well, c'est la vie for them." shrugged Burt with pride. "Now this document will allow you any visits to the witnesses, so with that... I trust that you won't reveal this classified location by any means necessary?"

"You can trust us, dude." replied Loona again, with a small smile, as the two were about to leave the office.

"By the way, ma'am!" the lawyer caught their attention one more time. "Good luck. You'd make a great mother to this young mate."

Hearing that part made Loona roll her eyes as usual, but then again show a soft smile to herself, as the door shut itself in her face.

"Well, looks like we're heading out of town." she said to Balin.

She grabbed out her phone and messaged the imps saying: "Alright dipshits, we've got a portal to catch now. Let's get this picnic to the park, ASAP." before whistling for another taxi.

"Okay, kiddo." she began to speak as one pulled up next to them. "Before we ditch, I've invited the others over to the park for a tour, and a surprise... picnic..." she sang at the end of that sentence.

"Yippee!" the boy gasped and jumped with joy. "This is going to be the most wonderful-lest picnic in the whole wide world!"

Loona laughed at Balin's playfulness as they both hopped into the taxi and set off for the park right next to his old house for the picnic.
