Angel: I just wanna throw a quick apology for sounding so dire and bitter the last few chapters lately (arguably for like the past 10 or 20 chapters now, few is an understatement). It's just…annoying sometimes to reiterate my opinions or some people just…get under my skin for making me have to say why I have to keep saying 'the anime is not primarily romance', 'I don't like Overhaul so I would not keep his arms', et cetera, paste old opinion here. Because I shouldn't have to say it repeatedly. Some topics like Izuka needing dance in her fighting have thankfully died out that I will most likely not address if they come back up again. If it gets to the point where I have to visit it again, I'll just tell you where I've already answered it. I do sincerely apologize for that, because I just haven't been a fan lately of people saying that I need to add more or change this or have Izuka do/do not any action in this arc. That last one is probably the biggest offender, don't like it either when the reason given is that she needs to do stuff not involving Izuku when she has already. Maybe it's just bias since she's my OC, or that I just don't and probably will never understand why twins in the same class apparently don't spend that much time together in or outside of school.
More insulting in that regard because I am actually a twin, and I shared multiple classes with my own sister. I also knew twins that had classes together so excuse me for being unrealistic and that apparently it's not a thing lol
Anyway! To lighten the mood, I wanna ask what your favorite Bazuka moment is so far, or multiple moments if you can't pick just one. Personally, my favorites have been when he comforts her, the moment she cries after the Hassaikai raid, and where she tears into him during the Kamino Incident since he alludes back to it when talking about weaknesses in season 4, episode 17 I think? Also Happy New Year!
Tenya was standing on a truck next to the mayor, talking to the other citizens.
"What's the plan, Midoriya, Mido?" Shoto asked the twins. All of them were looking at a map of the island.
"We know that there are at least 3 villains here," Izuku started off while looking at the greenery.
"Even though they've attacked the island, they don't care where we fight as long as they believe they'll get what they want," Izuka narrowed her eyes a little. "But that's why we're deciding the terms of this battle compared to last time. We're calling the shots, not them. So this needs to happen secluded from everyone else."
He then pointed to a place away from the island. "If we use the castle ruins on this edge of this cliff as our base, that leaves only one route for the villains to reach. When they approach, we'll split them up with a preemptive strike. Use the terrain to our advantage."
"Then we blast them to hell!" Katsuki declared, still pissed about what Nine did.
"The civilians can hole up in the cave on the side of the cliff. We'll personally guard Katsuma and Mahoro. We should also secure an escape route in case it comes to that." Mahoro and Katsuma were currently asleep nearby.
"How are we going to deal with the villain who has multiple Quirks?" Shoto wondered, the twins looking up at him and Katsuki. With him being like All for One, they couldn't do the same thing Toshinori did during his last fight as the number one hero. Nor would the attacks Izuka used previously help them out. They did remember one thing from their fight with him, however, that All for One definitely didn't have.
"In the middle of our fight with him, it looked like he suddenly pulled over in pain. Using all those powers one after the other was probably too hard on his body. I bet that's why he's trying to steal Katsuma's Cell Activation ability," Izuku explained to his classmate.
"My guess is, he's done a lot of experiments on himself so that he could handle his Quirks for only a little while and keep going until he needs to rest," Izuka looked back at the map, a hand on her hip. "Maybe his genetics are different, or it's not made to handle that many Quirks without some pushback. Could've gone through extreme means to get that far if his body wasn't made to handle that power at the start like my Quirk can," She glanced at Izuku, who nodded silently as she referred to One for All.
"I see. So we simply exhaust him," Shoto assumed, though it would be difficult...
"We'll attack him in waves and make him use his Quirks until he's at his limit! Since he can steal powers, we'll want to avoid close combat if at all possible. Hopefully, that will be enough for us to defeat him. But even if we can't...we just have to last long enough for help to arrive," He was now standing between his sister and Shoto, Ochaco next to her. All of them were at the castle ruins now, with everyone in position. The civilians were also in the cave as planned.
"That's all this is about," Shoto looked up ahead.
"No way!" Katsuki declared from nearby. "We're gonna kick the crap out of these losers! Especially their bastard leader!" He still wanted to make Nine pay properly for what he did to Izuka. As they waited, the sun started to set above all 23 of them, including Mahoro and Katsuma. Mahoro glanced up with interest on her face as Katsuki reached out to grab Izuka's hand. She flinched from the contact, but silently squeezed his hand back. It wasn't just a declaration to fight hard...it was also a promise that both of them would survive today.
Don't disappoint, Izuka, or let today be your last.
I have to fight just as hard as they do! She clenched a determined fist.
Near the entrance of the castle ruins, the three villains were standing on the beach. "Nine," Slice called out, using her hair to move like a spider with its legs. She landed behind Chimera and Nine. "The target's in the mountain castle. The heroes have him."
"Really?" Chimera turned away, his arms crossed. "So they want a siege."
Nine slowly turned away as he didn't care what they wanted, he knew that he would prevail. "Then let's get moving. Soon, I'll be the king of a new reality," He stepped forward, keeping his eyes focused. "A bunch of children won't stop me."
Soon, everyone was in position. Mashirao, Kyoka, Mahoro, Katsuma, the twins, and Mezo were hiding behind the castle. Mezo and Kyoka were using their powers to scope the area. Mezo flinched as he saw Slice, Nine, and Chimera approaching.
"There they are. There's three of them." Mahoro and the twins immediately tensed up, ready for the plan. "They're taking the path you predicted."
Yaoyorozu, Aoyama...we're counting on you! Izuku thought hopefully as he watched.
"Okay...we've only got 20 seconds," Momo was a bit out of breath as she was still tired from overusing her Quirk. "Get ready. Navel Laser to max output!"
Yuga was hiding behind a stone pillar, powering up his laser. "Energy Charge..."
"5...4...3...2...1!"
Yuga immediately jumped out of hiding, preparing his body. "Allons-y can't stop twinkling, it's my...Super Nova!" He then fired a huge laser from his stomach. Chimera and Slice jumped out of the way while Nine held up his hand to make his air shield to block it. Yuga charged up his shoulder and leg beams. "Plus...Ultra!" He fired mini lasers from them at Slice and Chimera. Both of them dodged easily, Slice jumping away from an explosion.
"This is it!" Momo moved away a blanket, looking exhausted. "I may be...using the last of my lipids..." She then revealed two huge cannons. "One final attack and then I'm spent!" She fired off both of them, Slice jumping away from the impact.
"Terrible shot!" She mocked, but then the ground shook underneath her. "What?!" She yelped as the ground sank underneath her. Chimera glanced back as an explosion knocked him away from the castle. He headed towards the forest, disappearing into the trees.
Momo grunted as she kneeled, definitely having reached her limit now. "Phase one...is complete..."
Yuga landed nearby, holding his stomach. "Um, I think some leaked out..."
"It worked!" Mezo reported to the others. "We split them up."
"Yes!" Mashirao pumped a fist happily.
"It seems like they're getting the villains in place, alright," Kyoka stated and Izuku nodded, knowing what she was getting at.
So far, it seems like everything is going to plan. We've got this! We can protect everyone!
Izuka clenched her fists while glaring up ahead. No matter what happens, we have to stop them. We can't let him get to Mahoro or Katsuma.
Nine continued walking forward to his goal. Hanta ran in, revealing himself from the smoke. "Tape Shot...Trident!" He revealed that a bunch of his tape was tied to rocks above Nine. Ochaco was hiding nearby as she pressed her fingers together.
"Release!"
The rocks came flying down towards Nine. He held up his hand and destroyed all of them with his lasers. Hanta landed and swung his tape.
"Move it!" He shouted at Ochaco, who ran past him. He flinched as Nine fired, using his tape to fling himself out of the way. Ochaco touched another big rock.
"Sero!" She shouted as they floated, and he grabbed them with his tape. He jumped up and threw them towards Nine, who continued attacking with his lasers.
Ochaco gritted her teeth while glancing behind her. Make the villain use his Quirks...
Wear him out! Hanta looked a bit nervous as it didn't seem like Nine was getting tired. But he was still going to fight because they had to see this through. Dozens of rocks appeared in front of Nine's path.
We can do this! They both thought in unison.
Meanwhile, Slice was underground, using her hair to break out. She stood up while flipping her hair. "The plan's to split us up, huh?" She looked around as acid hit the spikes above her. She flinched and jumped out of the way with ease, throwing her red needles.
"Yikes!" Mina ducked to avoid them. Slice looked up to see Fumikage attacking from behind, blocking him off and flipping backwards. "Nice!" Mina looked at her in disbelief.
She landed in front of Fumikage, who stepped forward to reveal himself. Dark Shadow covered his body.
"Ashido. Leave the rest to me," He held up a hand, revealing that he had claws attached to his arms. "The darkness is my domain."
Slice gave him a confident smirk, revealing her mini knives as her hair extended. "You cheeky boy!"
Chimera was at a waterfall area, scoffing. "Well, they've got me on my own..." A tongue grabbed his leg and pulled him into the water. Tsuyu swam forward and released him, and he was hit with a bunch of ice. The whole waterfall was now frozen, Eijiro and Tenya running up to the area.
"He's trapped!" Eijiro clenched his fists with a small smile. Shoto was nearby, having frozen the water.
"Our plan worked!" Tenya sounded optimistic, but Shoto gritted his teeth.
"Not quite." And seconds later, something moved along the ice, and then opened up to reveal water. Chimera jumped out perfectly fine, though he was soaking wet.
"Did you have to go and freeze me like that?" He demanded from the four, glaring.
Shoto and Tenya prepared themselves, the former glaring at the villain. "It's time for round 2!"
"Heh," Chimera dug into his pocket. "You think this is a joke? Nah, kid," He put a cigar in his mouth, and it caught on fire. He then glared up at his opponents. "Today, I'm serious!"
Eijiro glared while hardening his hand. "Oh trust me, we are too!"
"Now that the islanders are safe, we can go all out!" Tenya informed his team.
"Let's stop this guy," Shoto held up his wrist, frost coming from it.
"Recipro Turbo!" Tenya shouted while his mufflers were on fire, kneeling. "It's time to end this!"
"Yeah!/Ribbit!" The others declared in unison.
Chimera's arms bulged as a bunch of fur came from his arms. "Bring it on, then," He snarled at the four, his fists shaking.
