Angel: Someone suggested I write Supernoobs and uhhhh...yeah, no thank you. I remember watching this show when it came out and I just found it boring. And granted, it's not the worst thing I've ever seen, so if that show is your favorite, I'm sorry that I'm not gonna write it. But for me, I think I can find what the show tries to do better in other shows. It's one of those shows for me that I would just wait to be over so I can watch what I want to see. And those kind of shows aren't usually something I dive into, but then again, it's just my opinion. I'm sure that something I've written in the past is a show or movie that people don't enjoy. For me to write something, I have to be invested, or else I'm either going to hate the writing experience, or I'm going to regret writing it. And Supernoobs would probably fall into the first camp.
Plus, it's basically kids in school fighting against a greater evil type of show, which...isn't a rare genre.
As the sky was clearing, down in the cave Hawks was digging for something. "You still with me, Tokoyami?" He wondered as the bird-headed boy sat up while coughing. He looked up to see the winged hero in front of him.
"Hawks...? But how?" He managed to say, as he had passed out after the light had hit Dark Shadow.
"Ha. A couple of us came ahead to see if you were still alive. Just me...and one other," Hawks chuckled with a small smile.
Izuku had blood coming from his head, slowly opening his eyes. His vision started to clear as Toshinori was looking over him. "All Might...?" A few planes flew over them.
"You okay, Young Midoriya?" Toshinori wondered while holding onto his student. "I'm so sorry that I'm late."
Izuka was nearby, starting to wake up. "Are...Kacchan and my sister okay?" Izuku murmured and Toshinori gave a small smile.
"As usual, you're more about other people than you are about yourself," He turned to the side, still keeping his smile. "He's fine," Katsuki was right behind him, still unconscious. "Beat up, but he'll live."
"All Might...?" Izuka slowly sat up upon hearing his voice.
"Are you alright, Young Mido?" He wondered as she slowly crawled over to Katsuki, causing him to blink. She reached out to lightly touch his hair, happy that he was okay. The man blinked and then smiled upon seeing this.
"Thank goodness...I made them do something pretty crazy..." Izuku admitted and Izuka gasped sharply as she remembered, looking at her hand. She didn't feel like she had One for All within her...the girl then managed to move over to her brother. "Big sister...are you-"
"It doesn't matter, little brother...look at you, you need a hospital, both of you," She glanced between him and Katsuki.
"You made him do something?" Toshinori looked between the two in shock, as he could tell by Izuka's reaction that she knew what her brother did. And he was also surprised to hear that Katsuki went along with it, gasping as he saw Izuku close his eyes.
"I'm...sorry," He sniffed as he tried not to cry. "I transferred it to them. I gave One for All...to Kacchan and my sister."
Toshinori flinched, looking up at Izuka. She closed her eyes and slowly nodded in confirmation. "You gave them One for All?"
"If we hadn't combined the power of One for All with itself and Galaxy...there's no way we could have saved everyone...the villain would've defeated us. That's why...I don't regret what I did. But I feel terrible..." The boy confessed, Izuka shedding a tear. "Because you chose me to be your successor...because you said that I could become a hero like you...that my sister could become a symbol of her own...and she did that today." Izuka gave him a weak smile, sniffling. She reached out to wipe her teary eyes with her wrist. "I just wanted to protect everyone...no matter what it took."
"And that's just what you did, both of you," Toshinori murmured as he wasn't angry, and he was also a bit shocked that Izuka had both One for All and Galaxy.
"Please forgive me...please, All Might," Izuku pleaded, a tear going down his cheek. "I'm so sorry...I...I had to..." He turned away, falling unconscious with tears in his eyes. Izuka looked at him in alarm, gasping.
"Izuku...Izuku!" She touched his neck, revealing that he was still alive. She sniffed again while Toshinori placed a hand on her head, causing her to blink in confusion. He placed the other hand over Izuku's.
"Young Midoriya...Young Mido. Rest easy. I don't regret giving you my power one bit, or to help her grow as she has. You used it correctly," He then hugged Izuku's head close, pulling Izuka into the hug as well. "And you'll always be a part of it. It is fueled by the hearts of the brave...and your courage has only strengthened it. As well as the love and admiration you two have for each other."
"...All Might..." Izuka smiled tearfully, closing her eyes as she hugged him back. A red glow suddenly appeared, the two glancing down in confusion. Toshinori moved his hand away, revealing that it was coming from Izuku's hand. The two gasped sharply at the sight, the red glow appearing on Izuku's entire body.
"One for All..." He then flinched while looking at Katsuki, nothing happening to him. Looking down at Izuka, he confirmed the same thing. "Young Bakugo must've lost consciousness before the transfer finished." He reached out to grab Katsuki's hand, looking between the boys as Izuka started to fall unconscious. "No...that's not it..." He murmured while letting Izuka fall into his arms. "For risking your life to protect...and risking your life to prevail...and risking your life to earn the admiration of others...One for All did something miraculous." He could imagine the vestiges reaching out their hands to Izuku...Toshinori looked up with tears in his eyes while looking up to the sunset. Master...and all those who came before... He bowed his head gratefully, holding the boys' hands while Izuka was still in his arms. Thank you so much...I'm forever grateful.
And so, the rocks covering the cave were moved away. Rikido, Toru, and Koji looked up happily to see not only pro heroes, but Mr. Aizawa as well in front of them. They all ran in, the people inside cheering. Momo and Yuga were helped up by military, smiling at each other. Endeavor was also there, hugging Shoto in relief, but Shoto looked very uncomfortable. Tenya, Tsuyu, and Eijiro watched a bit awkwardly looking at Shoto's expression. Mina patted an upset Dark Shadow while being taken away to get her leg looked at. Fumikage was walking next to her. She and Dark Shadow gave a thumbs up. Hanta and Denki were being escorted as well, fist-bumping. Ochaco was being carried by Ryukyu, while Mineta was being carried and dreaming about girls. Kyoka and Mashirao were being carried away as well. Mezo himself was in a wheelchair because he couldn't move. They all looked back at Mahoro and Katsuma yelling their gratefulness, the two kids waving. Mummy was being escorted to prison, as well as Slice and Chimera. Although Nine was currently nowhere to be found. Hawks stared at the two villains, looking up at the sky.
What are you planning...Tomura Shigaraki? He knew that Shigaraki had something to do with it...he unfortunately couldn't say anything about it, though. If he knew that things would lead to this, he wouldn't have been okay with the students being here...
Across the ruins was a big flower field, and something black appeared. It was revealed to be Shigaraki as he stepped out, staring at an unconscious person. "I knew you'd survive," He told the person...revealed to be Nine.
"Shigaraki..." He murmured while crawling over, in intense pain.
"Did you have a good life?" Shigaraki mocked a little as he just watched Nine at his lowest.
"I've just begun. I'll keep fighting..." Nine replied weakly to the League leader.
"Don't worry," Shigaraki stepped up to him. "I'll take over your dream from here."
"There can only be...one true ruler," Nine gritted his teeth while holding up a hand to stop Shigaraki. He simply put his hand over Nine's face.
"Yes..." He slowly removed the hand over his face. "Only one." Nine gasped sharply as his face turned grey. "Nine..." The villain then completely decayed into dust, with nothing of him left. The only evidence of his presence was the silhouette of his body in the flowers. "Excellent work..."
"THAT HURTS!" Katsuki screamed at the UA Hero Agency. "What in the hell happened to me?!" He looked down at his broken arms.
"Smooch," Recovery Girl reached out her lips to kiss him on the cheek. Mahoro blushed while she watched, shaking.
It turns out, Kacchan didn't remember anything about me transferring One for All to him. Izuku stared while Katsuma healed him, Mahoro still shaking from what she witnessed. Izuka blinked as she was nearby too. And somehow...the power still resided inside of me. He and Katsuma beamed at each other.
As for me, I do remember everything. Maybe because of my Quirk's connection to One for All Izuka looked at her bandaged hand. Luckily, both she and Katsuki's arms would heal just fine because they were in the same state Izuku's arms would get when he first started. Although I did lose my healing ability when Izuku got One for All back. As well as my wings. Oh well...
"IZUKA!" Katsuki yelled out while moving his face away. "You better tell me what the hell is going on!"
"Why are you asking me?" She gave a nervous expression, Mahoro looking between her and Katsuki. Deja vu...although it's for the best if we don't tell him what happened. He wouldn't believe it since we don't have evidence, and he'd get mad that he worked together with us.
Katsuki grunted as he couldn't ask in front of the kids, so he would drop it. At least she's still alive, the moron.
Mr. Shimano stepped out as he had returned. "Daddy!" He smiled as Mahoro and Katsuma ran up to him.
"Mahoro! Katsuma!" He laughed happily as they shared a hug. The twins watched happily while Katsuki walked away from them.
Later, Katsuma and Mahoro were reunited with their father, who had been in the hospital on the mainland.
It turns out that Nine had attacked him too, so he was now Quirkless. But at least he could be happy with his family.
The two looked out to the island happily.
We were able to protect everyone on the island. But there was still tons of damage. And it would take time to repair. The rest of Class 1-A were currently helping out with repair and clean-up. The Heroes Public Safety Commission immediately suspended our practical program. But we still stayed the rest of our scheduled time. All of us wanted to help the island get back to normal. We couldn't leave, not when people needed us.
Thankfully, there wasn't any major injuries outside of our own class. And the damage was substantial thanks to the villains. So life on the island would take a bit to get back to where the islanders were. Even though they suspended the program, we still worked like heroes, but this time we did have supervision just in case. Some of the pro heroes stayed too to help out. Unfortunately though, we couldn't see Mahoro and Katsuma much. Even if they suspended the program, I still did my reports for our class. Some of them even helped out.
Izuka smiled at her brother, Ochaco, Momo, and Tenya all helping her with the logs at the agency. Someone placed a hand on her shoulder and she looked up, seeing a mango popsicle being offered by Katsuki. She smiled happily and took it as he sat down in front of her computer, taking over for her for a bit. The others all stared at him in surprise, deciding to let it happen.
And then...finally, it was time for us to go home.
All of them were on the boat that would take them back to mainland Japan. "Shouldn't we, like, say something before we leave?" Denki couldn't help but wonder.
"I know, right?" Mina agreed with the boy.
"But we wouldn't want to interrupt the recovery efforts," Tenya pointed out to them.
"Well," Denki shrugged with a small smile. "I guess this is cooler."
"Yeah, it's pretty hero-like," Eijiro smiled at his friend.
"True!" Momo beamed while Mina gave a big grin.
Katsuki was alone, leaning against the balcony and looking over his shoulder to the island. "I can't believe it's time for us to go already," Izuku approached him, followed by Izuka.
"Eh, good riddance," He remarked as he turned away, the two standing on opposite sides of him.
"Oh come on, you got to fight villains like you wanted," She pointed out while placing her arms on the balcony, looking out to the sight.
"So?" He huffed a bit as the boat took off. The class looked out to the island, proud of themselves. "So you're really gonna leave without saying goodbye to those kids? What's up with that?"
Izuka blinked up at him in shock and then gave a small smile for him not calling them brats. And that he was the one to point it out.
"There are things we wanted to say, yeah. But it's okay," Izuku closed his eyes with a smile. "I'm sure they already know how we feel."
"Plus, I wouldn't have been able to stomach it. We saved them, and that's all that matters," Izuka hummed in agreement with her brother...
"HEY!" They heard a familiar voice shout, getting their attention. Mahoro and Katsuma were on the docks, running along with the ship. "DOWN HERE! MR. DEKU!" Their father had brought them there to say goodbye. "MS. CALLISTA!"
"BAKUGO!" Mahoro smiled with a wave. "EVERYONE!" The whole class waved to the two.
"THANK YOU SO MUCH!" The two shouted as loud as they could.
"You saved us! You saved the whole island!" Mahoro yelled gratefully, looking up to the top of the ship to see the trio.
"I'll get stronger!" Katsuma shouted up to them. "I promise you I will!" The three looked at him in shock. "I'll get strong enough to protect Daddy and Mahoro! Wait and see!" The trio then all smiled towards him...well, Katsuki gave him a smirk. "And then, I'll be a cool hero like you, Bakugo, and Callista! One who always wins in a battle, no matter the odds!"
"Heh. You better work hard, ya damn brat," Katsuki remarked, pleased to hear the last part. "And don't you forget it."
"You'll be great someday!" Izuka laughed towards the little boy. "I know you will!"
"Hey, Katsuma! Listen!" Izuku shouted with a big smile. "You can become a hero!" Katsuma's eyes shined while watching the green-haired boy wave. Katsuki gave a small one himself while Izuka laughed happily, waving both her hands at the kids. "See you at UA one day!"
"Bye bye!" Izuka called out to them as they came to a stop. "Don't go pranking other heroes, Mahoro!"
"I won't!" Mahoro beamed while waving back to her. Katsuma was frozen in place from the words Izuku said to him. He then smiled before giving a big happy grin, a little bashful, but definitely felt inspired. So he would never forget those words.
