Highschool DxD: Call From Beyond.

Chapter 1: Beginnings

Issei hated the world in which he lived. Demons toyed with their lives on a daily basis with having their portals appear all over the place in a sick game. Causing humanity to fight and clear the portals or die in the attempt thus Slayers were born. It isn't just humans who have to deal with it even races of supernatural beings come to help the humans in their fight. Devils, Angels, Fallen Angels, Youkai and even western monsters do their best upon entering those portals.

Issei wanted to be a Slayer so bad but was to scared to try. His father was one of the best human slayers to exist but he was still taken from his family by one of the demon lords. The portal that has led to that hellish place has no opened since, but Issei would one day get there and kill that damn demon.

"Hey Issei dinners ready wash your hands and come down here will you please."

"Sure mum give me a sec."

Issei get ups from his desk and makes his way to the bathroom. He quickly washes his hands but as he dries his hands off. His right arm feels off and it trembles with a faint glow showing on the back of his hand.

Dismissing it as his imagination, Issei makes his way to the stairs and proceeds to walk down them turning to go into the dining room. On the table sits a dinner befitting a king. Issei seems confused and his mother could make so a lavish meal for him.

Reading his confusion by the look on his face his mother laughs.

"Yes Issei we are to have a few guests."

Issei's face screws up thinking it was possibly another boyfriend his mother brings home. It was five years ago since his father past but the three men she had introduced him to, he didn't like them very much and he knew his mother should be happy.

"No Issei I am not dating anyone new, it actually will be old friends of your fathers coming for a visit, tomorrow is the anniversary."

"I know I miss him, and I know you need to love again and have someone I just find it hard to adapt."

Issei's mother smiles knowing it was indeed hard for him to admit such things. But she was proud of him for doing so. Fortunately for them there is a knock at the door.

"I'll get it mum."

Issei promptly leaves the table and runs to answer the door. Reaching the door Issei places his hands on the handle and opens the door. Before him stands a man and woman in their twenties and both wore strange garments. The male was red haired and the female had silver hair. Issei didn't recognise any of them but his mum certainly did.

"Come on in Sirzechs and Grayfia it has been a while welcome welcome."

Issei's mother moves past him and kisses both Grayfia and Sirzechs on the cheek giving them a hug and escorting them to the table. Issei remains quiet but follows them to the table before the sit they turn to Issei and smile.

"You have grown Issei I can see your father in you it. Forgive us, we haven't seen you since you were a baby but you have grown into a wonderful young man. I am Sirzechs and this is my wife Grayfia and I am the Gremory devils guild master and deputy guild master."

Issei looks them at the both in shock. These two are the ones in charge of the Guild his father served with. Sirzechs sees the look in Issei's eyes and shakes his head cutting Isei off before he could speak.

"No Issei, the portal to the demon lord that killed your father has not been since the deed was done. I can see it in your eyes, revenge won't help you Issei. I won't leave your mother without a husband and son. So I won't allow you any where that portal if it appears as myself will go in and avenge my closest friend."

Issei could see the intensity in Sirzechs and with his own wife smiling and remaining quiet, she approves of his choice. Issei recalled from his dads journals that the Gremory devils guild were his guild and that most members where none human. It also stated how his father felt about being highly regarded by those very non humans.

"I don't think my father would want you to leave your own family as much as you don't want me leaving my mum. We should just hope that one day someone is able to enter that portal and put that monster down for all of us."

Issei catches Grayfia looking at him and giving him approving nod. Even his own mother sees it and nods as well.

"That is right but enough of the doom and gloom we came to celebrate your fathers life on the anniversary of his death."

They all in agreement and sit down to eat their steak dinner which was his dads favourite meal. They sat and ate with Sizechs and Grayfia telling Issei about some of his fathers adventures and some of the creatures he bested which includes a legendary dragon.

"You saying he bested a Dragon?"

"He did and it was a legendary dragon. Shame really we don't know how but the demons had managed to take most of the dragons our world was known for. Using them as much as us in their sick and twisted games."

"It crazy my dad killed a dragon."

"No he didn't kill it. He freed it and the dragon made a choice so he is never ever enslaved again."

"What did he do?"

"He sealed himself away with your fathers help. It was one of the reasons we came today as well it was your mother who made us aware. You have been experiencing issues with your arm. It has been glowing and every now and again you feel like charged with visible lightning being present?"

Issei lets out a sigh and nods in response confirming it for him. Issei also adds the fact he has been hearing a voice in his sleep at night but he struggles to communicate with it as he is scared.

"It is fine Issei don't feel ashamed mothers know everything. But we will soon see if what I suspect is true. Ddraig are you there?"

Issei's hand begins to glow then a voice laughs out loud with powerful resonating voice takes over the room.

"I am here Sirzechs."

Issei looks down at his arm and shock even his mother looks stunned. They both turn and stare at Sirzechs who wore a grin as big as a kids after Santa has been.

"Well there you have it Issei, not only did your dad seal Ddraig away he sealed him within you somehow just like I assumed. I hereby extend a hand and officially invite you to join The Gremory Devils guilds we will teach you and so will Ddraig.

"I will fight along side you Issei as you father requested for me being freed from that hell. Together we will teach the demons what hell actually is."

"I am in!"

Issei grins and hugs his mother. When Issei turns to face Sirzechs and Grayfia they both see the determination in his face and smile at his resolve.

"Good then let us see about us beating them at their own game eh?"

Issei nods knowing that now he will hunt the demons, beat them at their games of death and hopefully kill the one who killed his father no matter what Sirzechs says.

Well thats it for chapter 1 hopefully I don't lose motivation and can keeps going so hope you all like it not sure of the pairings yet but their will be some. So please read and review catch you guys again soon!
