Chapter 21 Field Trip

Ruby is wearing a large backpack as she enters the auditorium with other students. She then puts it down next to other students luggage before rejoining her team, who are standing in front of Team JNPR.
Haru noticed the backpack and wonders what is she carrying inside. What did she bring with her?
"Quiet! Quiet please. Professor Ozpin would like to share a few words before we begin." Glynda said.
Ozpin goes to speak. "Today we stand together, united. Mistral. Atlas. Vacuo. Vale. The four Kingdoms of Remnant. On this day, nearly eighty years ago, the largest war in recorded history came to an end. It was a war of ignorance, of greed, and of oppression. A war that was about much more than where borders fell or who traded with whom, but about the very idea of individualism itself. We fought for countless reasons, one of which being the destruction of all forms of art and self-expression. And as you are well aware, that was something many could not stand for. As a result, those who opposed this tyranny began naming their children after one of the core aspects of art itself: color. It was their way to demonstrate that not only would they refuse to tolerate this oppression, but neither were the generations to come. And it was a trend that is held to this very day. We encourage individuality, expressionism, and unity through diversity. As I have said, today we stand together, united. But this bond cannot exist without effort. Which is why today, while the rest of the world celebrates peace, Huntsmen and Huntresses will work to uphold it. As first year students, you will be tasked with shadowing a professional Huntsman or Huntress on a mission. Some of you may be taken out of the Kingdom for several days. Others may work within the walls for the rest of the week. But no matter which path you choose, remember to be safe, remember your training, and remember to do your very best."
Ozpin steps away as the students all begin to file out of the amphitheater.
"This is perfect! All we have to do is shadow a Huntsman working in the southeast!" Ruby said.
"Yeah! We'll follow them around by day and give them the slip by night!" Yang said.
"Don't get cocky girls, theres always a catch." Haru said.
"Yup." Blake said.
"Let's check "search and destroy"!" Weiss said.
That made Haru chuckle a bit, the team approached a hologram screen.
"Here we go! Quadrant 5 needs Grimm cleared out!" Ruby said.
"Well, it's in the southeast!" Blake said.
"Sounds perfect!" Yang said.
Ruby types the name but it said first year students cannot take this mission.
"Bummer." Haru said.
"Any other ideas?" Blake said.
"We could mail ourselves there." Ruby said.
"Well, that's one option." Ozpin came. "Unfortunately, we determined that the concentration of Grimm was too extreme for first-year students. It seems that particular region is rather popular. In fact, I have the sneaking suspicion that you four will make your way there no matter which job you choose."
The team looked at Ruby who was nervous. "Whatever makes you say that?"
"I'm still curious how you all found yourself at the docks last semester. I'm interested to know how you really learned about a hideout in the southeast. And I certainly wonder why witnesses reported seeing robots and rose petals in a dance club some time ago." Ozpin said.
"Um... well..." Ruby tries to think of a answer.
"I doubt I'll ever find the exact answers I'm looking for. So how about this: instead of waiting for you all to break the rules, why don't we just bend them?" Ozpin uses his scroll and the hologram makes a noise.
"We won't let you down. Thank you, professor." Ruby said.
"Do not thank me for this. Teamwork and persistence have carried you far. But you must understand, the things that await you beyond the protection of the Kingdom will not care. Stay close to your Huntsman at all times, and do exactly as he says. He will be leading you on this mission, and he can have you sent back to Beacon, if he finds your skills to be unsatisfactory. Good luck." Ozpin said. "Also mr. Kaneki you don't have to worry to get to the city to get donuts since you always come to school in time."
"What?!" Haru said.
"How did he know?" Yang said.
Later the team went to the airship.
"That wasn't exactly uplifting." Yang said.
"But it's the truth." Blake said.
"We just have to be careful in case something happens." Haru said.
"Hey! Team CFVY is back!" A student said.
They saw the team with one of them being Velvet.
"Hey Velvet are you okay?" Haru said.
"I'm fine. I had Yatsuhashi to look out for me." She said.
"But you were supposed to come back a week ago." He said.
"Nothing happened. It was just ... there were just so many... Oh, but don't worry. You first-years are just shadowing Huntsmen, so you should be fine." She said.
"Right." Yang said.
"Still I can talk to you if you have problems." Haru said.
"Your sweet Haru. I gotta go." Velvet runs off.
Haru then noticed the girls looking at him. "What?"
"Nothing." They said.
"Well let's get ready." Haru said.
"We can do this. We've never backed down before, and we're not going to start now." Ruby said.
"But who are we shadowing?" Haru said.
Then they discovered who it was making them stunned being professor Oobleck.
"Why, hello students! Who's ready to fight for their lives?" He said.
"Okay this might be harder." Haru said.
Meanwhile
Atalanta was moving around the woods and looks up. "It seems Haru might be going on a mission. I should keep an eye on him. More so with these enemies that might appear."
Watching her was a red figure with crab like claws. "Oh little cat. Running foward to help her little magic boy. But they will all fall." The person spins one of the claws. "Afterall in this world darkness can be dangerous."
Note: Heres the Field Trip start, Atalanta is thinking of helping with a mistery figure watching her.
RWBY Chibi
Haru was walking down the halls and sees Jaune waiting in line for the boys room with Ren, Neptune and Sun there.
"What's the hold up?" Haru said.
"I don't know, but whoever is in is taking they're sweet time." Jaune said.
Haru looks at them. "Wait a minute, we're all here, who's inside?"
They got stunned and inside the bathroom was Zwei playing with a ball as he barsk.
"The dog is inside?!" Neptune said.
"How are we going to get in?" Sun said.
Jaune takes out a coat hanger and tries to unlock it. "Okay let me just."
He puts the metal part inside as he moves around poking everywhere as Zwei plays watching the rod poke around before it knocks a red bottle spilling it's liquid through the gap of the door.
"Oh no! Ruby's going to kill me!" Jaune said.
"New plan!" Sun said.
Neptune slams Sun's head against the door. "Ow! Ow! Ow!"
"Why am I the log?" Sun said.
"Your more hard headed." Neptune said.
They then saw Ren open the door making Zwei come out.
"How did you do that?" Jaune said.
"I used the hanger again, it's amazing how you guys only use things one time." Ren said.
Haru goes inside and closes the door.
"Hey!" They banged on the door.
"You snooze you lose." Haru grins.
