Chapter 21: Jasper's Tsum II
In the Botanical Garden Temperature Room, Jasper and Grim are searching for the Tsum and their ball.
Grim takes deep breaths of exhaustion, "This… is… tiring…"
"I can't… believe… we chased… the Tsum… all the way… here," Jasper adds, tired.
Catching their breath, Jasper and Grim look around.
"Where could that Tsum disappear to?" Grim asks, looking around.
"It just gotta be here," Jasper says.
Just then, the Tsum comes rolling by, while pushing the ball with its body.
"There you are," Jasper says.
The Jasper Tsum stops rolling the ball and runs to Jasper. Then hops up and down in excitement.
Jasper chuckles, "I guess you had a blast huh."
"Guess it did," Grim says and looks at the Tsum, "It doesn't look like it's hurt."
Jasper picks up the Tsum and asks, "Are you okay?"
Jasper Tsum nods in response.
"It's nodding, meaning that it's okay," Grim says with a grin.
"Glad to hear it," Jasper says.
Suddenly, they hear muttering sounds, and a familiar voice, "Ugh, all this noise."
Grim and the Two Jaspers flinch and turn to see Leona, having woken up from his long nap, and has a tarp draped over him.
"It's Leona…" Grim says, shocked.
"Uh hi, Leona," Jasper responds.
The Tsum flinches and makes himself a little smaller while being on Jasper's shoulder.
"Oh, it's only you two, and you have one of those annoying Tsums," Leona says, tired and annoyed.
"What are you doing in the garden?" Jasper asks.
"What does it look like? I'm having a nap. First I was bothered by Jade and his armadillo, and now you three," Leona says.
"I see," Jasper replies.
The Jasper Tsum nods in response.
"Sorry about that, it's not like we wanted to bother you," Jasper says.
The Jasper Tsum nods his head.
Then Jasper turns to Grim, "You see, Grim, my Tsum, and I were playing ball, and Grim accidentally kicked the ball too hard and sent the Tsum flying. And we think the ball ended up here."
Then turns to the Tsum, "And we were able to find the Tsum and the ball."
"You mean this ball," Leoma says, looking down to see the ball.
Then gently kicks it, allowing Grim to catch it in his paws.
"Thanks," Grim says with a grin. He then asks, "So what are you doing sleeping here anyway?"
"What does it look like? I want to nap here, and I'd rather not let the guys from my dorm find me and drag me into this mess," Leona says.
"What mess?" Grim asks, confused.
"Yeah. It's like your dorm got a Tsum to worry about," Jasper says, with his arms crossed.
The Jasper Tsum firmly glares towards Leona.
Leona notices the Tsum expression.
"And what is that little puffball staring at?" Leona questions, sternly.
"I don't think the Tsum likes the insults," Grim says.
"Whatever, you three have disturbed my nap, and I suggest you beat it," Leona says.
"Leona, have you been here all day?" Jasper questions.
"Yes, what of it?" Leona questions with his arms crossed and has a frown on his face.
"Well, I think you slept way too much. You should be more active," Jasper says.
The Tsum nods in response, agreeing with Jasper.
This just makes Leona's glare a bit icy, and he is not pleased.
Grim yelps, "Mrawh!" and grows scared, "Jasper! Don't tell him that! You'll just make him angry!"
"Hey, I'm just saying. He should try to have fun instead of sleeping all day," Jasper says.
Leona growls in anger. Then says, "I don't need to listen to you two herbivores. Now you three scram, before I get really mad."
"Okay, geeze," Jasper says.
Scared, Grim says, "Okay. We're going."
And with that, the three take their leave before Leona even gets more mad. The three soon exit the garden and begin to make their way back to the dorm.
"Jasper, what you did was nuts? Leona could have mauled us," Grim says.
"Maybe, but he does need to be more active instead of sleeping," Jasper says.
The Jasper Tsum agrees as it hops around and bounces the ball of Grim's paws. Then begins balancing on it.
Grim giggles, "Well, the Tsum is similar to you when it comes to being active."
"Yeah. I like it," Jasper says.
Then Jasper picks up the Tsum as Grim picks up the ball.
"Come on guys, let's head back to normal. I'm sure the others are wondering where we are," Jasper says.
The Jasper Tsum nods its head in response, and is excited to see the others.
