Chapter 47 It's Brawl in the Family

At dusk in Beacon's courtyard, Haru, Weiss and Ruby running up the main avenue towards the docking bays.

"Weiss! What is the big deal!? Who is it? Who is she!?" Ruby said as they stopped.

Weiss smiles. "Winter."

Haru got surprised. "Your sister?"

They saw Winter Schnee exit out of a airship escorted by crimson-colored Atlas Soldiers and Atlesian Knight-200's.

"Wait... Your sister?" Ruby said.

Weiss holds her mouth. "Winter!" She runs towards her with the other two following her, Winter sees them. "Winter! I'm so happy to see you! Oh... " Weiss curtsies. "Your presence honors us."

Winter goes up to them. "Beacon... It's been a long time. The air feels... different."

"Well time changes many things." Haru said.

Weiss looks at him and Winter looks at Haru and raises an eyebrow.

"So, what are you doing here?" Weiss asked.

"Classified." Winter said.

"Oh, right. Well, how long are you staying?"

"Classified."

"Of course." Weiss smiles.

Ruby looked nervous and Haru said: "Well welcome to Beacon, hope you can enjoy your stay." He holds her hand and kisses it.

Winter blinks in surprise. "Well, your quite the gentleman."

Weiss then looks at her. "You're going to love it here! I know you travel a lot, but so much of Beacon is different from Atlas!" Then she whispered. "Vale, too. The government and school are completely separate! Can you believe it!? I-"

"I'm more than familiar with how this kingdom handles its... bureaucracy. That is not why I came." Winter said.

"Right! I'm sorry!" Weiss said.

"Nor did I come here to watch my own blood fail so miserably in battle. But it appears that I have no choice in the matter." Winter said.

"But, we won!" Weiss said.

"Only a novice would refer to that as a victory. I counted at least three strikes missed." Winter looks at her guards. "Leave us." They obeyed and left them alone. "How have you been?"

"Oh, splendid! Thank you for asking. I'm actually in the very top ranking of our sparring class! And the rest of my studies are going wonderfully, too! I'm-" Weiss then got slapped leaving a bumb.

Haru got surprised by that.

"Silence, you boob! I don't recall asking about your ranking, I'm asking how you've been. Are you eating properly? Have you taken up any hobbies? Are you making new friends?" Winter said-

"Well, there's Ruby and Haru." Winter said.

"Heh, boob." Ruby chuckles.

" I see. So this is the leader you wrote of. How appropriately... underwhelming." Winter said.

"Uh... Thank you!" Ruby said.

"Greetings, Ruby Rose. I wish to thank you for taking an interest in my sister." Winter said.

"Oh! Uh, yes, of course! The honor is in my... court!" Ruby said.

"And this is Haru, the only boy of your team." Winter checks Haru. "Well he has manners."

"Yes, she's been a very great teammate." He said.

"And what is she to you?" Winter said.

Haru got surprised. "We're just friends it's not like we kiss-" He holds his mouth.

"Huh?!" Weiss got surprised by what he did.

"What?!" Winter said.

"No we didn't!" Weiss said.

Haru still has memories from the time Weiss kissed him whens he thought he wouldn't remember.

Winter shakes her head. "I have business with the General and your Headmaster. But, seeing as I'm early, why don't you take me to your quarters?"

"Really?" Weiss said.

Winter moves forward with Weiss. "Yes. I wish to inspect them and make sure that they are up to my personal standards."

"Of course. Just so you're aware, the bunk beds only look unstable." Weiss said.

"Bunk beds? Wait do you share a bed with the boy?" Winter questions her.

"No! He sleeps in the middle." Weiss said.

"Why the middle of the room?" Winter said.

"Because the rooms aren't made for five people." Weiss sighs.

Winter thinks about it. "True, i'll have to talk to Ozpin about that."

Ruby waves. "We'll catch up- I mean, we will... reconvene with you both... at a later... juncture! At a juncture. Yeah."

"Don't force it Ruby." Haru said.

"I know." Ruby said.

Haru smiles at the two and looks down, 'They still have they're families.'

Winter and Weiss were walking towards the courtyard before one of the robots fell down.

They looked back to see Qrow. "Hey! Yeah, I'm talking to you, Ice Queen!" he throws a robot's head away.

The soldiers aimed but Winter said: "Halt!"

Weiss goes up to him. "Excuse me! Do you have any idea who you are talking to!?"

He puts a hand on her head. "Sssshhh. Not you." He pushes her to the side.

"Hey!" Weiss said.

Qrow looks at Winter. "You. Saw that gaudy ship of yours in town. I guess you're here, too."

"I'm standing right before you." Winter said.

He squints. "So it would seem."

"You realize you just destroyed Atlas Military property." Winter said.

"Oh, oh I'm sorry. See, I mistook this for some sort of... sentient garbage." Qrow said.

Winter walks forward. "I don't have time for your immature games, Qrow."

"Wait, you two know each other?" Weiss said.

"Geez, you Atlas Specialists think you're so special, don't you?" Qrow said.

"It's in the title." Winter said.

"Well, you know what you really are? A bunch of sellouts. Just like your boss." Qrow said.

"I'm not sure what you think you're implying, but I've heard enough." Winter said.

"Oh I heard, too. I heard ol' Ironwood finally turned his back on Ozpin." Qrow said.

"Ozpin?" Weiss said.

"Weiss, it's time for you to go." Winter pushes her to the side.

"What-"

"Listen to big sister, Weiss. She'll protect you. Just like Atlas is going to protect all of us, huh?" Qrow said.

"If you won't hold your tongue, then I will gladly remove it for you!" Winter draws her sword.

"Alright then..." Qrow back slicks back hair. "Come take it."

Many cleared out as Winter charges at him doing many jabs as Qrow dodges them, he then takes out his weapon to fight her back.

Ruby came with Haru and she said: "What's going on?!"

"Some crazy guy just started attacking my sister!" Weiss said.

"Oh no! Who would do such a th-" Ruby saw and got excited. "That is my uncle!"

"What?!" Weiss said and Haru got stunned.

"Kick her butt, Uncle Qrow!" Ruby said.

"Uh... Teach him respect, Winter!" Weiss said.

The two kept fighting before a big weapon smashes in between them.

"Stop!" They saw Keiji Maeda as he looks at the two.

The girls got stunned and Haru was shocked.

"Wow, he's big." Ruby said.

"Who are you?!" Winter demanded.

"I am Keiji Maeda, relative of Haru!" He smiles.

"He's your relative?" Weiss looks at him.

"Oh, yeah." He nodded.

"It's good to see a good fight, but if you want to fight I will be more than please to show what a true warrior can do." Keiji smiles.

Qrow stares at him. "I like this guy."

"You... Your his relative." Winter couldn't understand how someone with manners comes from this brute.

"Schnee!" They saw Ironwood come with Ozpin and Glynda.

"General!" She said.

"Well, funs over." Kenji walks away.

"Excuse me." Ozpin gets his attention. "Your really young Kaneki's descendant?"

"Yeah, don't have the same tricks as him, but i'm a warrior." He smiles before walking away.

"Your relative is so cool." Ruby told Haru.

"Well yeah." he shrugs.

"Looks i'm in trouble." Qrow said to Ruby.

"You did tear up the courtyard." Ruby said.

"Yeah, I did." Qrow winks and gives her a fist bump. "Catch ya later, kid. "He walks off to join the others.

Weiss goes up to Ruby. "And suddenly, your recklessness makes sense."

"You're just mad because he whooped butt." Ruby said.

That was a draw, at best! Also that's your relative Haru?!" Weiss said.

"Well yeah, he likes a good battle." He said.

He just hopes nothing bad happens.

Note: Heres Brawl in the Family with Haru meeting Winter and seeing Qrow, before Keiji stops the fight between the two, to answer a review: "Blaze-Rider-10 I have never watched that series, so that's hard to even put in."
