The next morning Lincoln was on the couch on his phone while Bun-Bun was playing a game with Razzle and Dazzle (riding Dazzle like a steed as Razzle was being chased by his brother).
The Loud sisters and Emily squealed about how cute cute this sounded as Charlie smile and Lincoln and Angel Dust rolled their eyes knowing what he was like when he taked.
The party was the previous day and Lincoln saw on Sinstagram and EnVee that it was trending.
"Sinstagram?" Lori and Leni questioned with the Loud family and angels taking this in as the Hell residents and Lincoln looked amused.
He was glad to be interrupted by a call from Sibella; "So Lincoln...How is serving the dark web here in Hell compared to Earth?" Sibella asked Lincoln as he sighed.
The Louds frowned knowing how bad the internet could be on Earth and to imagine what it was like in Hell.
"Tending to be away from social media as it's bad enough on Earth but... On the video sharing websites... I should have known that content farm channels would be much worse here than they already are... I wouldn't be surprised if it was a creation of Hell that came to Earth..." Lincoln answered shaking his head.
"That makes literally all the sense..." Lori said as her family nodded with her with Emily sighing knowing how bad content farms were from what she read.
"They can be a lot to deal with I know... Still as dangerous as they are; physically it's going to be more dangerous outside your comfortable home." Sibella said as Lincoln frowned confused.
"The Extermination?" Lynn asked as the Louds and Emily became tense and Charlie, Vaggie and Lincoln sighed and nodded.
"What do you mean?" Lincoln asked as there was a sigh from Sibella on the other end.
"You know Lincoln; Extermination Day." Sibella said as Lincoln just sat there silently trying to remember if anything like that was mentioned to him before. "Lincoln... You know when Angels come to the Pride Ring and... Do you seriously not know?" Sibella asked in disbelief as Lincoln shook his head and then heard talking from the stairs as Angel Dust comes in and sits himself next to Lincoln with Fat Nuggets in his lap.
"No he fucking didn't..." Angel Dust said shaking his head with his arms folded at the frowning Charlie and Vaggie.
"Yes! You were right! We should have told him earlier!" Vaggie snapped as she calmed down with Charlie putting a hand on her shoulder with Lincoln sighing a well.
"Octavia was as surprised as I was to find out that he didn't know." Sibella informed everyone.
"Will talk to you later Sibella..." Lincoln said as Angel Dust grinned at him.
"Your new girlfriend?" Angel Dust asked teasingly as Lincoln sighed looking to him.
Sibella put up a small grin as Lincoln's face became a little red with both his families thinking about the remark.
"Angel Dust... What's Extermination Day?" Lincoln asked as Angel Dust's face froze and turned to disbelief as they then saw Charlie and Vaggie coming down the stairs.
"You two? You both seriously never told Link about Extermination Day? Were you planning on holding it off until the last minute or give a fake reason why he can't go outside on the day or look through the window?" Angel Dust screamed out still looking in disbelief as Charlie and Vaggie froze as they then stared at him.
"You two never actually had a plan on how to tell him?" Sera asked frowning as Charlie and Vaggie shook their heads.
"Did you ever have a plan to tell me?" Emily asked looking up to Sera which shut her up.
"Shit..." Vaggie muttered out as Angel Dust was looking at them judgementally as Lincoln was confused.
"Holding his hand through life in Hell is one thing toots but this... Sometimes you have to give the hard truth to the kid or did you want him forever fucking sheltered in Hell? Unable to protect himself if something does happen unexpectedly?" Angel Dust shouted out as Vaggie looked at him frustrated.
"I get wanting to keep this from him but the porn star makes a great point..." Rita said in an almost scream to her husband and he nodded.
"Vaggie... He's right... We should have told Lincoln sooner..." Charlie said with a sigh as Vaggie sighed as well as they slowly went down to the couch and sat down next to Lincoln. "The story I told you before you went to sleep on your first night here? I didn't share the ending... Basically Heaven started to fear as Hell had an overpopulation of sinners... So... They made a heartless decision... Every year on a date they send angels known as Exorcists to kill whatever sinners they can in the designated time. Don't worry as they are not to target the Hellborn or the royalty... So we will be safe in here..." Charlie said slowly and then put on an assured smile as she put an arm around Lincoln's shocked and shaken form.
"Was a lot to take in..." Lincoln said with hsi head down as Charlie and Vaggie pulled him in with mostly everyone looking at him in sympathy even if the Louds thouht that they should be comforting him.
"They... Really do that?" Lincoln asked surprised that angels from Heaven would do that.
"Yeah and they don't come back when they do... I have bad experiences with Exterminations..." Vaggie said as Charlie pulled her in as well.
Vaggie became a little tense but no one noticed it but some gave her looks at this.
"This is why I was inspired to try the Hotel and rehabilitation... See there's a different alternative to the Ring's overpopulation... Plus I have seen the hidden goodness in sinners that they don't even see themselves..." Charlie said with a happy sigh.
Charlie overlooking the streets of the Pentagram following an Extermination in shocked concern as there was a sinner looking through corpses to loot them. The sinner spots an injured barely alive sinner and then sighs as he then helps him up as Charlie notices with a smile.
"What? Did that really happen?" Angel Dust asked surprised with Husk having his eyes widen with Alastor taken aback. Emily gave a smile, Sera looked surprised and then Charlie nodded with a big smile to Angel Dust's question. Even the royal couple were surprised to hear about this.
Charlie was on a trip to Imp City and spots what she recognises as a visiting overlord going past a homeless imp; he walks past but then turns and looks around before giving the imp his coat and then tosses his wallet.
"Well I be..." Husk said as they took this in.
"Nice thing to do especially as imps are at the bottom of the hierarchy in Hell." Sibella then said feeling surprised by these stories but smiled with Lincoln doing so as well.
Charlie looks down from the balcony to the streets as the bell rings to begin the Extermination. Sinners run for cover as one was terrified and a door opened and an exasperated sinner shouts out "Get fucking in!" The sinner then runs in.
Charlie smiled as they all took this in; "Wow... Even in Hell; there's humanity left in the damned!" Lynn Sr said as the Louds were surprised; Lucifer and Lilith sighed but gave smiles to their daughter.
"I know there's good in the sinners; that they don't even see themselves..." Charlie then said as Alastor rolled his eyes.
"A little tinge of decency; a random act of kindness doesn't take away that they were sent down to Hell for a reason." Alastor then said as they digested this.
"I admire your intentions Charlie but the Radio Demon here does have a point. The Doctor in Boom Town; had a big speech about mass murderers and and tyrants live with themselves by sparing the occasional victim while slaughtering much more." Sera said as she got looks. "What? We all have hobbies..." Sera almost snapped at this.
"Still Char-Char; you have a point in that the damned are not all beyond hope... Some like Lincoln's porn star friend and Vaggie there especially are cool!" Lucifer then said with Charlie smiling at her father's words.
"Thanks big dick but one day you are gonna remember my name..." Angel Dust then said.
"Wow..." Lincoln said taking in that maybe there was hope for people that have been damned to Hell after all as Charlie jumped excited.
"That reminds me... I got 666 News to have me as a guest after the Extermination ends... To publicly announce the Happy Hotel and get all the sinners to come here!" Charlie then answered with a wide grin as Vaggie smiled.
"I was so excited..." Charlie cried as the Hell residents frowned with Lincoln and Vaggie comforting Charlie and the Louds and angels looked uneasy.
"How badly could it have turned out..." Emily asked.
"That's great... I can help you practice what to say and get the message across..." Vaggie said as Angel Dust turned to Lincoln.
"Don't worry too much about Extermination Day... Stay inside for the day and don't walk out onto the streets afterwards as trust me... It's a fucking free for all..." Angel Dust assured him as Lincoln then gave a nervous thumbs up.
"That's putting it lightly..." Husk then said with Alastor and Vaggie nodding making most uneasy.
Lincoln looked tense when the day came and Charlie and Vaggie were closing the blinds on the windows and Vaggie put Lincoln on the couch with the TV on a cartoons channel.
Lincon gulped as they became tense; getting ready to hear what happened for themselves.
"Don't worry Lincoln... Put your mind off it..." Vaggie said assuredly as the front door opened and then there was a bomb being thrown that went off red mist.
"Adam found you that quickly?" Emily asked eyes widening along with the Louds but Angel Dust snickered looking amuse to the confusion of the angels and the Louds. Vaggie just sighed.
"AHHH! We're under attack! Angels!" Lincoln yelled hiding underneath the pillows as there was a smirking rocker type sinner as Angel Dust came up to him.
Suddenly Luna looked interested.
"So Anthony... This is the safe place that ya got with the Princess?" asked the sinner as she then spotted Lincoln and came up to him dragging him out of the couch. "So you're the half human Prince that fucking made a mess out of Valentino... Saved Anthony's soul and freed the rest of the souls that the bastard had? Have to admit; not what ya expect... But wanted to see ya; since you helped him and because it seems that the bitch has a sot spot for you." she said as Angel Dust came up to her and embraced her.
"Cherri has been my best friend in Hell since we met a long time ago!" Angel Dust said grinning.
"She sounds so rad..." Luna said in awe with Lincoln nodding.
"I enjoy seeing her on the news." Sibella said with a grin.
"You still could have fucking told us that you invited her!" Vaggie then pointed out to Angel Dust. However she and CHarlie did smile at hearing that CHerryi was told of Angel's soft spot for Lincoln.
"Cherri doll! Love seeing you in person again and you haven't been sharing that around the streets huh?" Angel Dust asked sounding serious for a moment as Cherri then grinned.
"Don't worry about it... Ya know there's a power vacuum in the porn industry if you want to take over from your old boss?" Cherri asked as Charlie came out looking at the hole in the ground and quickly fixed it with magic. "The princess and her girlfriend... I'm Cherri Bomb; Anthony here and I go way back. He said that I could crash at your place during the Extermination." Cherri greeted as Vaggie made herself known and crossed her arms.
"Really? That's news to me..." Vaggie said with a look to Angel Dust.
"I was meant to bring it up but she's my friend and isn't this what I'm here for... Being a better person?" Angel Dust asked as Vaggie eyed Cherri.
"Yeah... Helping friends out..." Lincoln said with Angel Dust grinning with Vaggie just nodding along.
"The turf boss with an explosions fetish here in the hotel..." Vaggie asked as Charlie went up to her and Lincoln.
"At least give her a chance..." Charlie said as Lincoln smiled.
"I am sure that she will behave yourself." Lincoln said as Cherri showed her hands and then got out a sack of bombs that she put away.
Some snickers at this but Vaggie rolled her eyes.
"Fine... Don't make me regret this..." Vaggie conceded with a sigh as Cherry jumped on the couch dragging Lincoln with her causing him to scream.
"I will show ya the cool shows that are on during the Extermination..." Cherri said as she surfed the channels.
"She did show me some cool shows..." Lincoln admitted.
"Hold on... You're name is Anthony?" Lincoln asked surprised looking to Angel Dust who gave him a look.
"Don't go spreading it around..." Angel Dust then replied.
"Nothing wrong with that." Emily said smiling as Angel Dust just gave a small smile; knowing she was thinking of his sister and mother.
He didn't deserve this; he shouldn't be in this place... The people he killed... They weren't important... They deserved what he got and he lived as a normal guy regardless.
Just about everyone looked confused; "Sounds like we are in the POV of a random sinner during the Extermination..." Husk then said.
"Oh my..." Emily said frowning as they knew that this wasn't going to be pleasant.
The bell he was warned meant dead and he couldn't get inside in time before the bell rang and then they came down...
The Louds, Emily and Lincoln gulped at this with most feeling tense from how it was described.
The Exorcists...
Sinners who were religious zealots foolishly thought that they were there to fix the mistake and take them to Heaven but got pierced through it;
"Oh! Those are fun!" Alastor then laughed.
"You have no idea how many sinners we have had here in the Pride Ring in the thousands of years complaining about them not belonging down there; saying they were doing God's work." sighed Alastor shaking his head along with Lilith.
"Dad hates it when people commit horrible acts in his name without him ever implying that they should." Gabriel spoke up with Sera nodding intently.
"Wow... I have heard of the types of people and to know that this is their punishment..." Luna said smiling at this with the Louds feeling a bit relieved at this.
OJ soon followed and the sinner was corner by one.
"Hold on... Is that who I think it is?" Lynn Sr asked with his and his wife and daughter sharing his name widening their eyes.
"Indeed it is." Gabriel said nodding.
"Wonder who on Earth already has their fate sealed and Azrael already decided where they are going..." Lincoln muttered.
"Well plenty of politicians like your president; plenty of billionaires and the 3 trillionaires, certain movie producers and one horror director whose most famous film sounds like a Scooby Doo episode. Our siblings like to talk to eachother." Gabriel answered and then looked towards Lucifer who looked uneasy.
The sinner thought that he could at least stall his death by trying to fight back and took a photo from the Exorcist.
He looked and saw it looked like a human photo of the new prince of Hell; "Why do you have this?" he asked as the Exorcist pinned him down to the ground with a spear.
"Need to know sinner scum..." retorted the Exorcist who pointed a spear at his neck with him looking nervous.
"Hold on... Is he gonna use this to bargain for him being spared?" Husk then said as their eyes widened.
"If you're looking for him... I know where he is..." the sinner managed to say despite being in terrified panic as the Exorcist scoffed.
"How would you?" the Exorcist asked as the sinner gulped.
"Everyone knows who the kid is... Lucifer's brat has him in her place..." the sinner said as this gave the Exorcist pause.
"So this is how they figured out that we had him..." Vaggie said as they took this in.
"I am gonna find this sinner and make him pay!" Lucifer then said furiously at this sinner who sent the Exorcists to where they could try and kidnap his new grandson and it led to his family being attacked.
"I hate to be a negative nancy; monarch of Hell but the story hasn't actually given us any details to pin down who this sinner could have been." Lisa pointed out as Lucifer blinked along with his wife.
"Gabriel! When you next see Him; find out the name of this sinner from Dad if you please!" Lucifer then called out to Gabriel who nodded and then continued reading with them becoming tense.
I wouldn't recommend trying to figure out which director I implied if you haven't already figured it out on your own.
