Chapter 5: Glaciar's Mission

Star had been on the phone, talking with her grandparents for about ten minutes before it was time to end it.

"Okay...Okay, Nana. Yes, I'll remember to drink more water. Yes...Yes...okay. Love you too, bye..." Star said, before hanging up.

"That Joy sure is something. She definitely knows what to say to keep you on the phone, doesn't she?..." Danny said with amusement.

"She sure does. What can I say? She just loves talking to her only granddaughter..." Star replied with a giggle.

"I can relate..."Sam said warmly, recalling her own grandma fondly.

"Now, where were we?..." Star asked out loud.

"You basically told us about you guys meeting that Glaciar guy, a Chalice of Cold, and the reveal of your mom's emotional baggage..."Tucker said bluntly.

"Oh, right..." Star said, as she and Danny continued to tell their tale.

"Okay. Well, after we finished dinner-..." Danny began to tell the story again.

Story

It was the next morning, and Danny and Star were with their families, having breakfast at the lodge's cafe.

The two had gotten their respective breakfasts from the buffet. Danny got some strawberry pancakes, bacon, hash browns and scrambled eggs, while Star got blueberry waffles, eggs, bacon and fresh fruit.

However, Danny could barely enjoy it since he was tired and could barely keep himself up.

"You okay, Boo?..." Star asked, worried about him.

"I'm fine. Just a little tired. Glaciar's training lasted longer than I thought..." Danny said with a yawn.

"I know..." Star said, recalling how that went.

She accompanied her boyfriend for both moral support and to keep an eye on the ghostly yeti as she didn't fully trust him, but at the most inopportune of times she received a call from her dad to ensure that she wouldn't forget about her curfew and Star knew that it was a not-so-subtle warning not to break the rules.

So, she knew that she wasn't allowed to stay out too late.

Still, she recalled how that training first started...and how Danny reacted to it.

FLASHBACK

Last Night

Danny and Star soon arrived at a frozen lake that was away from the ski resort, where Glaciar was waiting for them.

The ghostly yeti, having now healed, saw them and smiled.

"Ah, Great one. Welcome. And to you as well, my lady..."Glaciar said, smiling at them.

"Hi Glaciar. Glad to see you're looking better..." Danny said, since he no longer seemed injured.

"Thank you for your concern, my young friend. But nothing small like that could keep me down for long..."Glaciar said confidently.

Despite Glaciar having greeted Star, he still was not sure what to make of the teenager and raised an eyebrow as if questioning how wise it was for the blonde girl to be among them.

"Um...pardon my rudeness, Great One but why did you bring your companion here? Isn't she human? Does she accompany you whenever you go? Or does she have command over ice as well?..."The yeti asked in a mixture of curiosity and irritation.

Something which the blonde girl caught onto.

"One. I'm his girlfriend and two, yeah, I'm human and don't worry about me. I'm just here for moral support. Just think of me as a cheerleader for Danny's training..." Star explained with a smile.

"A what leader? Is that some sort of warrior rank?..."Glaciar asked, not familiar with that term.

"It's...never mind..." Star said, not wanting to waste time clarifying the term to him.

The ghost yeti sent her a puzzled look before he shrugged, thinking it was probably just a human thing that held no importance.

"Begging your forgiveness my lady. I meant no disrespect. I was just wondering as to your decision to accompany the Great One, on this difficult training session..."Glarciar said, before he directed his attention toward the halfa.

"Again, you don't have to worry. I'm here because I want Danny to succeed. Whatever training you have planned for him, it's something you want to take part of, no offense but I would feel a lot better knowing even a little of what he's going up against...." Star replied.

"Ah. Quite admirable to look after the Great One like that, but rest assured that this training session will not bring upon any harm to him..."Glaciar nodded.

"We'll see about that..." Star thought, still not fully trusting the ghost yeti in front of her.

"I'm ready to start when you are..."Danny said, as the ghost yeti spoke again.

"Okay. In order to obtain the Chalice of Cold, You must first overcome all the spells its location has...with your powers that shouldn't be too hard. However, the real challenge is being able to reach the chalice and go past it's barrier..."Glaciar said seriously.

"Sounds easier said than done..." Danny commented.

"And you would be right, Great One. Even if your human form will be able to get you through the ghost proof barrier, there are still a many dangerous obstacles to deal with in order to reach it before then...and to do that, you must master an ancient technique that many ghosts with ice cores, especially those of the Far Frozen, train for many years to master and is also very important and honored by my people. Without it, victory will no possible and you will fail. But no pressure..."Glaciar said, saying the last part in a rather dismissive manner.

"Right, no pressure. Why should things be easy for once?..." Danny snarked, hiding his nervousness.

"Because unfortunately that's the path of a hero Danny-Boo..." Star said half jokingly.

"Fair enough..." Danny answered with a chuckle.

Glaciar was not amused as he sent the blonde teen an annoyed look.

"What we do is no laughing matter Great One..."The ghost yeti said with crossed arms. "Maybe your lady friend should leave if she's going to be a distraction?..."He said, sounding impatient.

Before the Blonde girl could snap back, Danny spoke up in defense of his girlfriend.

"Star isn't a distraction and you've got my attention one hundred percent. Seriously..." Danny said.

Glarciar raised a brow but nodded.

"I see. I apologize for my rudeness. I am just...anxious about this mission. But I apologize..."Glaciar said as he turned to Star.

Star frowned but said nothing while Danny decided to ask something to make the training go faster, as time was something they couldn't waste.

"So, what is this ancient technique?..." Danny asked, wanting to get to the point already.

"It's a technique that requires a warrior to master speed, balance, agility, dedication and patience. You must master not only the act itself but in a specific form that is known only by few, myself included in order to retrieve the chalice. It is an honored part of our culture..."Glaciar said, sounding dramatic as he said this.

"Sounds intense..."Star commented.

"And that would be?..." Danny asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well...it's hard to say it's true name in human languages...but I do believe that your world's equivalent calls it something else...what was it again?...Ice Skating?..."Glaciar revealed.

Hearing this made Danny's jaw dropped and Star eyes widened and she half-wondered if she heard him correctly.

"ICE SKATING?! SERIOUSLY?!..." Danny asked, wondering if he heard him right.

Glaciar nodded.

"Indeed. What you call Ice Skating is a technique that is very special to the Far Froze and. I would never joke about it..."Glaciar said, speaking in a very serious tone, almost nostalgic tone.

Star remained silent, while Danny wondered if this is some kind of joke.

"I sure didn't see that one coming..." Star wondered, while her boyfriend was flabbergasted now as the yeti ghost kept explaining things.

"Anyway, the technique I am about to show you is called the "Path of the Far Frozen Warrior". It takes a very large amount of skill, patience and strength to master it. Of course, this should be easy for the savior of the Ghost Zone. After all defeating the Pariah Dark was no easy task. So, this should be a walk on the park for you, my liege..."Glaciar said, as he used his ice powers and soon a pair of makeshift skates appeared on his feet.

"Allow me to demonstrate..."The yeti ghost said, as he then went to a nearby frozen lake and began to show the young teens what he was made of.

Then, to Danny and Star's surprise, Glaciar then use his skates and began to figure skate around with a grace and speed that contrasts greatly to his beastly form as he jumped, spun and twirled around and did some rather impressive moves that even left Star speechless.

"Wow...he's pretty good..." Star said, as Glaciar did some big jumps, ending with him doing a toe loop. And he was doing it with a leg made of ice to boot before he continued with some impressive looking figure skating moves.

Once done, Danny and Star couldn't help but applaud a bit.

"Wow...not bad..." Danny said, not sure what else to say.

"That was awesome! I don't think I ever seen someone human or ghost before pulling that off!..." Star said, rather impressed due to her own love of ice skating.

Glaciar smirked at the praise.

"Oh, you're too kind, my lady. While I may have made it look easy, I assure you though, that only a warrior with skill and talent can master it..."He said with false modesty, pride obvious on his face.

"Honestly the only warrior who could do this technique ALMOST as well as I could is Frostbite himself. I also remembered how we always used to challenge each other like this when we were young..."Glaciar said, looking almost nostalgic as he said this.

He then turned to the ghost kid.

"Alright, Great One. It is now your turn to do what I just did, exactly the way I did it..."Glaciar said and Danny looked at him like he just said something insane.

"I may have bitten more than I could chew..." The ghost kid said, suddenly having second thoughts about this training.

He just knew that this is going to hurt and then some.

End of Flashback

Present Time

"It did. Quite a lot actually..." Danny grumbled. "So, trust me when I tell you that it was way harder than it looked..." He added, sounding bitter about something.

"It sure was. Glaciar didn't go easy on him to say the least...and he was a bit of a braggart...but he was REALLY good at figure skating..."Star admitted reluctantly before sighing.

"It's something that I'll never be able to get over. I still can't believe he did it. Especially when you first look at how big, lanky and hairy and with a leg made of solid ice yet Glacier apparently, he can figure skate like a seasoned pro. Unfortunately, Boo here...not so much..." The blonde girl said, before they went back to the story.

Back to the story

Danny stared at his breakfast, but his mind was still on the training he received from Frostbite's friend.

He spent about 3 hours practicing and failing to get that technique down and Glaciar kept trying to help him and kept pushing to "do better."

He only stopped after his parents called him to tell him his curfew was still in effect despite their vacation and had to return to the resort and he convinced the ghost yeti to pick it up the next day from where they left off. Now, Danny was tired and rubbing his sore spots. He still felt pain in joints he didn't even know he had.

"Geez...I can't believe that of all the things I had to learn to save that ghostly chalice thing...it's ice skating..." Danny grumbled.

"Look on the bright side. At least you're not falling on your face anymore. That's some improvement..." Star said, trying to be encouraging but Danny sent her a flat look.

"Right, not my best peptalk to cheer you up. Sorry, Honey..." Star said, as her boyfriend sighed.

Danny looked at his breakfast hungrily and soon started to feel a little better as he began to chow down on a decent breakfast. As he ate his strawberry pancakes, he noticed that his girlfriend was currently doing something with her food...particularly the waffles.

"Starlight, what are you doing with your waffles?..." Danny asked with a raised eyebrow.

"What's it looks like? It's art..." Star replied cheerfully, as she continued to build a small sculpture out of her waffles at such a quick, steady and precise pace.

"But you do plan on eat it, right?..." Danny asked, while Star stared at him like he asked her something weird.

"Obviously I'm going to eat it, Boo. I just like making waffle sculptures, take a quick photo of it when I'm done, then pour maple syrup on the whole thing and chow down on my latest delicious piece of art..." Star explained, like it was obvious.

Danny blinked as Star took a quick picture and then began to eat her breakfast just as she said, it was honestly oddly endearing in its own way.

"Well, at least my chocolate milkshake experiments aren't the only unique thing in this relationship..."He said, with a chuckle as he realized that his girlfriend has her own particular food habits as well.

"Hey, my food sculptures are fun, and they are an art form in all of itself, not a habit like your milkshakes experiments..." Star said, as she defends her unique food habit. "Besides, Pierre loves seeing me work on my masterpiece before we share it, after I cut it into baby safe pieces that is..." She added.

"Whatever you say, Starlight..." Danny said, as he went back to eating his breakfast.

"Honestly, the old bat hated it, so it's always a plus doing this if it gets on her nerves..." Star added.

"She hates everything that makes anyone happy..."Danny said bluntly. "So, seeing her annoyed is always a good thing, even better to see Pierre happy because you're giving him the love only a big sister could give..." He added lovingly to his girlfriend.

"Aww. Thanks, Boo..." Star said with a smile.

"Meant every word of it, Starlight..." The Halfa said as he went back to eating his breakfast.

He was going to need all his strength for when he goes back to his training again today.

Present Time

"Okay, I have so many questions now..."Sam said, briefly interrupting the story.

"One...the ancient and mysterious technique you needed to master to save the day was 'Ice Skating'...and Star does food sculptures, for real?..."She asked, not sure which one was stranger in her eyes.

"Hey! I don't tell you how to live your life, so don't criticize how I live mine!..." Star argued.

"She's got you there, Sam..."Tucker said.

The goth simply glared at him.

"Anyway, yes...apparently, I had to learn to ice skate and do that crazy technique thing, which let me tell you, it was no easy feat. I think that I rather fight Skulker when he's in a bad mood, at least that I can handle..." Danny said.

"So, figure skating is really super important to a bunch of ghost yetis?..."Sam asked skeptically.

"Believe me, I was just as surprised as you are. Also, they are more like ghost like beings who resemble Yetis...but yeah...ice skating is surprisingly super important to the people of the Far Frozen.." Danny said with a shrug.

"Yeah, it's apparently a big deal for Frostbite and his kin..." Star added, recalling what they learned during that adventure.

"But still...how does ICE SKATING of all things have to do with a bunch of hairy ghost yeti's who like to fight and have access to such ancient, mystical powers, technology and artifacts?..."Sam asked, still not getting it.

"Apparently, it's really popular with the people of the Far Frozen and they take it very seriously. At least Glaciar did and he did not go easy on my training..." Danny said.

"I was sore for days...Ow..."He grumbled.

"You may find this interesting, Sam, as it turns out, the first ice skates were made of bone..."Jazz said in a brainy way.

Sam blinked twice, before she chuckled.

"Okay, now that sounds like something that I can get behind in knowing more about..."Sam said, due to her love for anything remotely gothic.

"And that's not all, turns out that ice dancing has connections to ballroom dancing, though they focus more on rhythm and balance for the display part..."Tucker added, getting looks from the others.

"I learned a lot of random facts like that after being hooked to that Cramtastic Mark 5 for twelve hours..."He added, as he stared at two individuals who left him in that predicament in the first place.

"Sorry again about that, Tucker..." Danny and Sam apologized, still feeling a little bad about it.

"Hey, no worries. It was worth it when I got that perfect score and a had Milly and Trudy fighting over me..."Tucker said, recalling those two girls who had a thing for him during that time.

"Should we tell Valerie about this?..." Star asked in a playfully warning way, while the tech geek rolled his eyes.

"Relax. That was forever ago and please don't remind her..."Tucker said.

"I don't know, maybe Val should be told of your dating history...as brief as it may be..."Danny said as a joke.

"You are hilarious, Dude. But stop it...and it was not that brief, it was a couple of dates with each of them at most and at different times since I'm no two-timer BTW. Now let's drop it or does Star and everyone else here need to be reminded of your own dating history before you got together with her?..."Tucker said while glancing at Danny.

"No thanks, I do not need to be reminded of his "Paulina Fenton" phase..."Sam added with disgust, while Danny sent her and Tucker an annoyed look.

"I thought that we agreed never to speak of that again..."Danny said, while Star had an annoyed frown at hearing Danny's past interest in her ex-friend but said nothing since she knew that was in the past.

"Moving on. We had just finished breakfast and left the resort again..."Star continued with the story.

Back to the story

Danny and Star had just finished breakfast and left. However, Star's father and his loving girlfriend were still in the lodge's restaurant and having a blast together.

Johanthan and Solene were now seated together, enjoying breakfast together.

"Here you go, my handsome councilor..."Solene said in a cute way, as she fed him some of his French toast.

"Solene...honey...we're in public..."Johanthan said in a shy way.

"Aw, come on. Live a little, Johanthan dear..."Solene said in a sweet way.

"I am living a little. I'm here, aren't I?..."Johanthan joked, before taking a bite of his meal.

"This is good. Best day ever..." He thought, as his girlfriend kept doting on him.

The two kept flirting with each other and feeding the other their breakfast, before they began to discuss their plans for the day.

"So, after breakfast...remember, you promised that we would go to the caves nearby for some sightseeing, then we ski and then maybe we can have some fun at the spa..." Solene reminded.

"Don't worry. I won't forget. And after that, you promised that we'd do some ice fishing together..."Johanthan said.

"Yup...all ending with you and me, sitting by the fireplace, drinking hot cocoa and reminiscent of the today's events as well as some making out..."Solene said in a flirty way.

Her boyfriend grinned at that.

"Sounds like my idea of a great day..."He said with a chuckle.

"Mine too..."Solene said with a giggle, already looking forward towards the end of the day.

The two shared a kiss together, before they went back to enjoying their breakfast and making plans for today. Unaware that a certain blonde woman had just walked in with her son, also wanting to get breakfast.

Stella saw this and frowned, not liking what she witnessed.

"Ugh! Talk about bad timing. So not what I was expecting to see so early in the morning..." She thought.

"Mama. Hungry..."Pierre said, getting her attention again.

"R-Right, Angel. Mommy is going to get us both a really yummy breakfast and then we'll go play in the snow..."Stella said, as she went to get something from the buffet for them.

And to distract herself from what she had just witnessed. Anything to unsee THAT!

Elsewhere

Jazz, who had just finished her breakfast, had met up with Baylor.

The blonde boy was showing his skiing skills and managed to do an impressive jump and landing gracefully on the ground without any trouble. Once done, Jazz was impressed by what she saw her latest crush do.

"Wow, that was awesome. You're a natural at skiing. It looks like you have taken quite a lot of time to get that perfectly done..."Jazz complimented.

"Yeah, it took me years of practice to master. Heck, I practically lived on these slopes..."Baylor said, sending a pearly white smile to her.

Jazz blushed a bit and felt her heart beating a bit faster.

However, the moment was cut short when her parents suddenly appeared driving by in their RV, before they got out of it, carrying their ghost hunting gear and looking ready to continue where they left off during yesterday's ghost hunt.

"Your days are numbered ghost punks, the Fentons are here!..."Jack said, grinning in determination.

"Oh man, please don't notice me..." Jazz thought, as her parents kept being themselves, apparently too distracted with their ghostly mission.

"Eat plasma, spook! You're not getting away from us again. Not after I modified the tracking equipment to make it more compatible to freezing temperatures!..."Maddie said with a determined grin on her face.

"GO! GO! GO! MADS!. We can't let that ghost escape!..."Jack said wildly, as he and his wife ran into the woods.

"Right behind you, Sweetheart!..." Maddie said with just as equal enthusiasm, itching to try and test her latest ghost gadget.

As her parents left to go hunt ghosts in the forest again, Jazz pretended not to know them or make eye contact with Baylor right now, who thankfully didn't seem to notice them.

"Phew, that was a close one..." Jazz thought.

"Anyway, Jazz. Wanna try? I can show you how to ski and maybe ice skating afterwards if you want..."Baylor offered.

"S-Sure...sounds fun. I'll try anything once..."Jazz said, eager to avoid parental embarrassment.

Present Time

"I don't even want to know how you guys knew about that..."Jazz muttered.

"Your parents saw you and they told us. Apparently, they noticed the two of you while you were too busy making goo-goo eyes for Baylor but apparently didn't want to interrupt since they thought you were on a date..."Star said, while the red-haired girl groaned in embarrassment.

"Again...what happened?..."Tucker asked, wanting to know what why this Baylor guy ended up becoming a sore topic for Jazz.

The redhead sent her brother a stern glare and the ghost boy rolled his eyes.

"That's an answer that is going to have to wait, Tuck..." Danny said, knowing Jazz doesn't want to talk about it now.

"You'll find out when we get there...there's a reason Jazz doesn't want to talk about it..." Star said, recalling what had happened back then.

"Ok fine, whatever..." The Techno geek shrugged.

"As I was saying. We had left the resort to go meet up with Glaciar..." Danny continued the story, frowning slightly which his friends noticed.

Back to the Story

Danny and Star soon arrived to the lake again, away from the resort.

There, Glaciar was waiting for them.

"Ah, greetings Great one and my lady. Ready for another glorious day of training in order to obtain and protect both the human and ghost worlds from great danger and evils like the treacherous fool who unleashed Pariah Dark..."Glaciar said in a jovial way and "unintentionally" guilt tripping the ghost boy.

Danny frowned but knew that he had to do this.

"As ready as I'll ever be..."Danny said, not looking forward to this.

"Then lets get started, Great One!..."Glaciar said enthusiastically.

"At least someone is having a good time here..." Star thought semi annoyed.

While the half ghost hero was getting himself to step back on the ice, Danny had a few questions relating to the ancient artifact that needed to be retrieve.

"So...why do they call it the Chalice of Cold anyway? Is it frozen or made of ice?..."Danny asked, curious about the name.

"No, it was created by the first ever Chief of the Far Frozen eons ago. Chief Cold. It was he who was chief long ago when our people first settled in the Ghost Zone..."Glaciar explained.

"The guy's name was Cold?..."Star asked, and Glaciar looked at her like she just asked a stupid question.

"Of course, it's a pretty common name back in the Far Frozen. It is an honor to be named after the great warriors of old. Don't you humans have a similar concept of naming the young after people you admirer?..."Glaciar said, like it was common facts and it was back at his home.

"Well, sure some people do that. I was just wondering since there still a lot we don't know about the Far Frozen's culture, and we would like to know more..." She replied, being honest since she genuinely was curious, but it's been a while since she actually saw Frostbite and his people.

"Ah, I see. Anyway, Chief Cold was said to be a prodigy amongst his peer, a grand storyteller and was rumored to have been something of a psychic and had unique powers that helped him create the chalice. He also passed down many tales of his adventures that are still being told our young to this day. His name, Cold, is such a common name back home so much so that in the Far Frozen we decided to use it in different languages to avoid confusion. Is there a problem with that?..." Glaciar said, almost sounding offended about something right now.

Danny and Star blinked now, feeling bad since it seems that they might have just offended their new friend's ancient culture.

"No, and sorry if we said something..."They said, while the yeti ghost seemed to calm down a bit.

"It is all right. You did not know of my kin's history, now you two are beginning to learn of it. However, as much as I would greatly enjoy enlightening you both of the rest oF my people's history. There is no time to waste on such pleasantries, as our focus must solely be on the Great One's training through Ice Skating..."Glarciar said, a little desperate on wanting to get back on track.

"Anyway, we have much more training to do if we want to make sure you have the technique mastered by the full moon tomorrow night, Great one..."Glaciar said in a "kind" but bossy way.

Danny sighed.

"So much for just relaxing, hitting the slopes and sitting at the fire with cocoa with my super cute girlfriend..." Danny muttered, as he knew this was going to be a long day.

Present Time

"Anyway, I was still training when-..."Danny was cut off when they suddenly heard a thump from outside.

"What the heck?..."Star said as they went to go check and see what happened.

They ran out to see Misty who was getting up from portal that quickly vanished before their eyes, while the young sorceress who created said portal was closing behind her, looking frustrated and sweating.

"Darn it. Ok good news I'm in Amity Park and not in Antartica. The bad news, my landings are still terrible and now I'm outside in this scorching heat..." Misty grumbled, only to see some teens she was greatly familiar with.

"Hey guys..." The young sorceress greeted in friendly way.

"Misty? What are you doing here? And in this heatwave?..."Star asked.

"Isn't obvious? We don't have an AC at my house yet, so I was trying to find a spell to escape from this heat and take us somewhere cooler for a mini vacation...and instead I'm here and my family is still at home since I wanted to try it out first and see if it was safe. Long story short, that was a total bust. But at least I didn't end up in Australia or Canada this time. Mom really freaked out the last time it happened..." Misty explained, recalling how that incident went.

"Is international travel something that happens often with teleportation?..." Star asked.

"It is when you mess up a lot..." Misty said, recalling her past adventures when she was practicing her spells.

"It's not all bad. I saw some interesting sights and even ate some neat food there. Though, the rough landings and not having control where I end up...I can do without..." She said, before sighing.

"I really can't wait until I have full control. Thankfully, the only place I have mastered teleporting to is home, so it's never a problem for long..."She said, still having trouble mastering that particular advance spell.

"I see. Well, best of luck fully learning that spell. Anyway, why don't you hang out with us in here? It's too hot outside right now..." Star said, offering to let her in after asking Danny.

"Thanks..."Misty replied, glad to have a chance to get away from the scorching heat.

Once inside, Misty smiled once she felt the cold air.

"Ah. So much cooler..." Misty said, feeling much better right now.

"Yeah, it's like the desert out there..." Danny said, as the young sorceress made herself at home.

"So, teleportation still being a pain?..."Sam asked.

"Uh huh, but practice makes perfect. A perfect bruise that is..." Misty answered, before looking around.

"So, what's with the snow?..." She asked, after noticing it.

"AC is down..." Jazz answered.

"Luckily, that's not a problem for Danny Phantom, the ice maker, here..."Tucker said, while his friend shrugged.

"And if you don't quit making those AC jokes, you're still in charge of chipping away at all the big ice blocks I make Tuck..." Danny playfully warned, but didn't actually make another big block like last time.

"Still would be worth it..." The Techno geek teased, while the others chuckled at this.

Their new friend was getting comfortable on the Fentons couch. Misty looked around and noticed that that heroic gang were all seated in the living room, which meant one thing to the young sorceress.

"So...let me guess...is this story time again?..." Misty asked, recalling the last time she saw them all gathered like this.

"Pretty much, yeah..."Sam answered.

"Can I listen? Mom is having a new AC installed today, but it's going to take a while, and I haven't exactly mastered any ice related spells yet...and this place is almost like a frozen paradise..." Misty pleaded, really not wanting to head back until her house is actually with an air conditioner.

Team Phantom all shared a look. Tucker and Sam turned to Danny and Star, who stared at Jazz, and she stared right back at all of them. Danny looked to Star, who shrugged while Danny nodded.

"It's fine with us, the more the merrier..." Danny said, after Star nonverbally gave her approval.

"Sure, no problem..." Star said with a shrug, since she no longer had an issue with the young sorceress.

"Awesome. Thanks..." Misty said, glad to be here.

"Grab a slice, we'll be here for a while..."Tucker said, as he was eating some more pizza since they still had plenty to go around.

Misty did so and got herself comfortable. She couldn't believe that she got to be in a cool place like this and that it was cool enough that she could actually enjoy pizza of all things today.

As the young sorceress greatly enjoyed eating her delicious pepperoni and cheese slice, Team Phantom were all ready to get back to listening to the story again.

"Okay, so where were we?..."Star wondered.

"If you don't mind, can you tell me what I missed?..." Misty said, not wanting to be out of the loop.

"Fine, but it might take a while..." Danny said.

"If it means being in this nice cooling place a little longer and not go outside in the scorching heat, then I'll gladly hear as many tangents as the two of you will go on..." Misty said, genuinely willing to hear as many past adventure stories that Team Phantom had to share.

"We don't go on that many tangents..." Star denied, before looking to Danny. "Do we?..." She asked her boyfriend.

"You do, but we love both of you guys anyways..."Tucker joked.

"Go ahead and sum things up for Misty, while I grab a refill..."Sam said, as she went to get some more soda from the kitchen.

"I need to stretch my legs anyway..."Tucker said, as he also a little tired from chipping some more ice for everyone while thinking of ways to do so a little faster and easier than by hand.

"Ok..." Star shrugged, while Misty was handed a soda by Jazz as she sat down on the couch.

"As much as I want to master that frustrating portal spell, I'm really starting to enjoy hanging out with peers my own age...and one of them has ice powers to boot..." Misty thought to herself, while wondering why Jazz seems a little upset whenever Star or Danny mentioned some "Baylor" guy.

"So, it all started with..." The blonde girl began recapping the story again, while Misty was giving both Star and Danny her full attention as she listened to their story.

The young sorceress just shrugged and listened to the their story, wanting to hear more.

4) Maybe Ty or Johnny.

5) Not sure.

6) I guess Fin and Lo were Betty and Veronica respectively.

Reddy: Johanthan met Stella during his final year of college, which was after Stella gave up her figure skating dreams. Stella mentioned her aspirations and Johanthan did try to encourage her to pursue them again, but Stella insisted that she was fine, which she obviously wasn't but she didn't want to upset Beatrice at the time.

Also, thanks for the suggestions. I will see what I can do but I already have plans for Stella.

PINK-samiam: Thank you :)

JDF Legacier Morphicon: Thank you :)

Here are my responses to your questions:

1) As mentioned in this chapter, Frostbite enjoys ice skating.

2) I liked how Tucker was able to use his tech skills to help Danny defeat Johnny and his shadow in "13".

3) They would fight it.

4) I think it be interesting.
