Sharing a sense of concern and shock as the remaining Digidestined looked upon the large hole Davis and Veemon had been dragged down through, the concern continued to grow knowing how Kari and Gatomon, who leapt within the opening in a reckless attempt to save the Digidestined and Digimon of Miracles, were now deep within the darkness themselves.

Shaking with fear and uncertainty, Yolei slumped to her knees as she continued to stare with wide eyes upon the massive crater, before the purple haired Digidestined murmured repeatedly to herself. "The... the earth just swallowed Davis whole..."

"I... I don't want to be here anymore..." Cody said with a shaky voice as he too allowed his uncertainties to plague his mind.

Snapping out of her own fears and concerns, Sora looked between the two frightened Digidestined and knew that she needed to take charge, less Davis, Kari and their partners would remain in greater danger.

After giving Izzy and the Digimon a quick glance, the look of which the Digidestined of Knowledge, Biyomon, Tentomon and Patamon knew as they prepared themselves to leave the area, Sora moved over to Yolei and Cody, where the Digidestined of Love placed a comforting hand upon the pair's shoulders.

"Yolei, Cody, you have to listen to me, I know you are both scared right now and that is understandable." The Digidestined of Love began to say as she looked into both of the younger Digidestined's eyes, before she told Yolei and Cody with a soft but firm tone of voice. "But right now, we need you to be brave. Davis, Kari, Veemon and Gatomon need you to be brave. They need our help, but we can't fight until we get your Digimon partners. So please, be brave for them."

Swallowing lightly, Yolei and Cody looked upon one another as they took in Sora's words and allowed themselves a moment to take in what Sora had told them.

Willing to do anything to save her crush, Yolei returned to her feet, the emotions less romantic but shared by Cody as he knew that if their roles were reversed, Davis would push himself to his limits to ensure the safety of a friend.

Seeing the renewed determination within Yolei and Cody's eyes, Sora smiled softly, before she looked past the pair and noticed how TK remained focused upon the crater, his expression shocked and dumbfounded.

Frowning and having a fair idea as to what was going through the Digidestined of Hope's mind, Sora sighed to herself as she knew her talk with TK would have to happen sooner than she expected.

.

.

.

A few minutes later and after getting themselves back on their feets, Yolei and Cody once again led the group toward the location indicated upon their Digivices.

As Biyomon, Tentomon and Patamon remained flying around and keeping watch for any danger, Izzy walked alongside the two younger Digidestined, keeping his own eyes peeled for any signs of trouble, while TK silently walked behind the group.

Still bewildered by the events that just took place, particularly the fear Kari expressed upon seeing Davis in danger, followed by her reckless decision to leap into danger to save the maroon haired Digidestined, darker and more worried thoughts continued to surface within the blond's mind.

Feeling a hand upon his shoulder, TK snapped out of his thoughts when he looked to see Sora walking beside him, the Digidestined of Love offering a friendly smile as she asked with a polite and warm tone of voice. "How are you holding up, TK?"

Looking forward and seeing that the rest of the group was far enough ahead of them so he could speak honestly, TK released a soft sigh, before he expressed his inner doubts and feelings to the Digidestined of Love.

"I'm fine, I just..." The Digidestined of Hope started to say, before sighing as he told Sora with a small frown. "I just don't understand Kari's relationship with Davis. When I moved back to Odaiba, I guess part of me was hoping that Kari and I would be closer, like how we were back then, but seeing how she is with Davis and knowing that she's been close to him for so long... I just feel out of place."

Nodding in understanding and wishing to reassure the Digidestined of Hope, Sora kept her smile as she told TK with a smile. "I can promise you, if Kari is making you feel that way, she isn't doing that on purpose. She was very excited to learn that you were moving to Odaiba and going to the same school as her, not only so you two could catch up, but she also wanted you to meet Davis so you both could become great friends."

To the latter of Sora's remark, TK looked upon the Digidestined of Love with some confusion, before the orange haired girl decided it was time to better explain the relationship between Kari and Davis to her young friend.

"Remember Kari's asthmatic problems and how it affected her when she was younger?" Sora then asked, the question causing TK to nod softly in reply, namely remembering both how Kari wasn't able to attend their original camping trip due to her sickness, alongside how the illness plagued her during the Machinedramon confrontation.

"When Kari was six, Tai asked me to come with him and Kari to the park so he could play soccer with her, while having a second person there to help out in the event she fell ill again." The Digidestined of Love told TK as she began her tale.

"At the same time, Davis and his family had just moved to Odaiba, but his family was constantly busy, which meant he was often alone, so that same day he went to the park hoping to make a friend at least, and once he and Kari saw each other, it was like a spark was lit and both of them instantly became close friends. Since then, they've been almost inseparable. Even when we were on the camping trip and Kari was sick, Davis would swing by her apartment so he could help Kari's parents take care of her." Sora said as she watched TK's reaction, seeing the surprise expression he held with how close Kari was to the Digidestined of Miracles.

"She even went against Tai and myself and told Davis about the Digital World." The Digidestined of Love went on to say, before adding with a defeated sigh. "I think in Kari's mind that if she didn't tell Davis, she would have to avoid him then to keep that secret, and that I know is something that would have torn her up inside. But like a true friend, Davis kept the secret to himself."

"And ultimately, other than Kari being so close to him, does Davis really seem like a bad person to you?" Sora then inquired as she looked upon TK, the Digidestined of Love keeping her eye upon the blond Digidestined as she knew the kind of person Davis seemed to be.

Thinking to himself, TK mentally sighed as he couldn't find a reason, other than his relationship with Kari, to detest or to look down upon the Digidestined of Miracles, who had only shown him kindness and friendship since the moment they first met.

In fact, TK found that Davis remained true to his word as earlier today, the Digidestined of Hope heard from the captain of the basketball team, where he was asked to contact him in order to set up a meeting for tryouts, with TK certain that Davis had put in a good word for him.

Seeing TK sigh in resignation, Sora held her smile, even as the younger Digidestined turned to her and asked a question she knew was on his mind.

"But Kari... does she... does she 'like' like him? I mean..." The Digidestined of Hope asked as he tried to figure out how to word his question.

Mentally giggling as she had a fair guess, but doing what she could to not distress the Digidestined of Hope, Sora tried to answer the question.

"I think they both care deeply for one another, but they haven't realized or gotten to that point in their relationship." The Digidestined of Love replied, her smile softening after she saw the frown spreading upon TK's face.

"Don't let that stop you from being their friend, TK. Kari thinks the world about you, and Davis is beyond grateful for all you have done for Kari. They want to be your friends, so let's focus now on saving them." Sora finished, her smile growing as she saw the frown upon TK's face soften a little.

In his heart, TK knew that neither Kari nor Davis had intentionally harmed him, that he was letting his own insecurities get the better of him, but now was not the time, not when his friends were in grave danger.

"Sora! TK!" Biyomon then called out ahead of the group, the surprise in her voice causing the two Digidestined to break from their conversation and to look upon the Digimon of Love and what she wanted them to see.

Not too far ahead of the group, the Digidestined and Digimon saw a massive stepped pyramid off in the distance, and based upon the positions of the blinking dots on the maps displayed upon Yolei and Cody's Digivices, Izzy surmised that this was their destination.

Clenching their Digivices, Yolei and Cody were filled with both excitement and nervousness as they made their way to fulfil their destiny as Digidestined and to finally meet their Digimon partners.

.

.

.

Arriving at the base of the pyramid, the Digidestined and Digimon began to ascend up the stairs, with Yolei and Cody each holding confused expressions as they looked over the structure.

"How is a pyramid from our world here in the Digital World?" The purple haired Digidestined questioned as she and Cody shared the same bewilderment, one Izzy and Sora understood.

"Since the Digital World is made up of Data collected from the Real World, objects such as this pyramid can be reconstructed within this world." The Digidestined of Knowledge told Yolei and Cody, who looked upon Izzy with some uncertainty as they continued to ascend the stairs.

Having his own share of questions, Cody then asked Izzy. "Why do you call our world the Real World? Isn't the Digital World just as real?"

About to answer Cody and to explain the differences in their worlds, Izzy found himself stumped as he realized he didn't have a really good answer to the question, nor did Sora or TK, for the trio and the other Digidestined were so used to referring to Earth as the Real World when compared to the Digital World.

Finding that they had reached the top of the pyramid, however, the group decided to leave the question alone as they looked upon the sight that greeted them.

At the top of the pyramid, the Digidestined and Digimon found a pair of stone altars similar to the one that the Digi-Egg of Courage rested upon within the cave by Gennai's home, only these altars held two Digi-Eggs of different design.

Looking the objects over, Yolei, Cody and the others saw that one of the Digi-Eggs was shaded a light silver and looked like it was opened at the bottom, with a pair of metal wings protruding from the sides, while the Crest of Love was embedded upon the Digi-Egg's outer shell, to Sora's shock.

Turning their attention upon the second Digi-Egg, Izzy and the others were equally surprised to see that the item resembled a green insect's shell with a drill-like horn protruding from the top, while the Crest of Knowledge was engraved upon the Digi-Egg's front side.

To see their Crests upon the Digi-Eggs, Sora and Izzy instinctively approached the items and placed their hands around them as the two older Digidestined tried to lift it from off of their altars.

But try as they might, neither Sora nor Izzy could lift the Digi-Eggs up from their resting spots, a situation that slightly annoyed the pair to no end.

However, that annoyance quickly vanished as the two Digidestined remembered what Tai had told them the night before, as well as remembering what led them to these Digi-Eggs in the first place, where Sora and Izzy looked back at Yolei and Cody.

"Why don't you guys give this a try?" Sora suggested with a positive tone of voice as she and Izzy moved to stand by TK and the Digimon, the group looked upon Yolei and Cody as the pair looked to one another and nodded in a sense of agreement.

Approaching the altars, Yolei stood before the Digi-Egg with the Crest of Love, while Cody examined the Digi-Egg bearing the Crest of Knowledge as the pair braced themselves and wrapped their hands around the two items.

It was then that Sora, Izzy, TK and the Digimon were left in shock as Yolei and Cody lifted the two Digi-Eggs up with absolutely no effort, a sight that confused the two newer Digidestined after having witnessed the struggle Sora and Izzy had before them.

Before either Yolei or Cody could voice their confusion, shock quickly filled the pair as two pillars of light then shot out of the altars, the sight astonishing TK and Patamon as they remembered the same phenomenon happening yesterday when Davis retrieved the Digi-Egg of Courage.

As the group continued to look on in shock and amazement, Yolei and Cody watched as two beings seemed to form within the pillars of light, before leaping out of the light and landing before the pair, giving the new Digidestined their first look at the ones they assumed were now their Digimon partners.

Looking upon the Digimon before her, Yolei saw that the being resembled a hawk-like creature which stood around Veemon's height, which had blue eyes, deep red feathers, alongside a lone feather fastened around the belt set around his head.

Meanwhile, Cody found himself gazing upon a yellow scaled armadillo-like Digimon that looked back at him with its big red eyes, his expression quite friendly and inviting.

"Greetings and salutations, I am Hawkmon, and you must be Yolei Inoue." The bird-like Digimon, now identified as Hawkmon, said with a great respect in his voice, before he added with a continued politeness. "It is a pleasure to finally meet your acquaintance."

"Um... nice to meet you." Yolei replied with an uncertainty within her voice as she was taken aback by the combination of her Digimon partner's well mannered tone, as to how he knew her name.

"Howdy, partner, the name's Armadillomon and it's nice to finally meet you, Cody!" The other Digimon, now known as Armadillomon, said with a cheerful and a more casual tone as he brought his right paw up to shake Cody's hand.

Although sharing in Yolei's astonishment, the young Digidestined took the paw into his hand and shook it in a friendly manner.

"It's a pleasure to meet you as well." Cody replied with his own respect, before he and Yolei took notice of how their Digimon partners' eyes then narrowed.

Looking outward and not only seeing the darkness infecting the skies above, but also taking in the sight of the Dark Spire in the distance, Hawkmon and Armadillomon frowned.

Turning to face the humans, Hawkmon then remarked with concern and a hint of anger within his voice. "It would seem that Millenniummon and his evils have awoken once again."

"Does that mean Magnamon's awake too?" Armadillomon then asked with a fair curiosity within his tone.

"He's Veemon right now, and he and his partner, Davis, were captured by a group of infected Digimon, while two friends of ours went to try and save them." Patamon informed the two newer Digimon.

Despite the dire situation, the Digimon of Hope was somewhat bewildered by the way Hawkmon and Armadillomon looked upon him, as though they recognized him in some way.

Shaking away this sense of deja vu, Hawkmon then said with a great urgency within his voice. "Then we must make haste and save our friends!"

Looking upon one another and knowing how their Crests work, Sora and Izzy shared a silent agreement as the two older Digidestined approached Yolei and Cody, where the Digidestined of Love placed her hand gently upon the purple haired girl's shoulder.

"Yolei, do you mind if I ask, but what exactly interests you about Davis?" The orange haired Digidestined questioned.

While knowing there was little to no chance of Yolei winning Davis' affections, Sora knew that those feelings she held for the maroon haired Digidestined needed to be harnessed.

Surprised by the sudden question, but sharing her emotions, a dreamy expression graced Yolei's face to the thought of her maroon haired crush.

"What's there not to like about Davis? I mean, he's handsome, sweet, selfless to a fault. He never gives up and makes you feel like you can do anything!" Yolei replied with a small and content sigh.

To Yolei's words and the clear love expressed in her voice, Sora held a soft smile, not only because she knew Yolei's perception toward Davis was indeed true, but also how she noticed the Digi-Egg within Yolei's possession began to glow with a soft purple light.

At the same moment that Sora began talking to Yolei, Izzy had set his attention upon awakening the power within the Digi-Egg of Knowledge for Cody.

Placing his hand on Cody's shoulder and gaining the attention of the younger Digidestined, the Digidestined of Knowledge questioned with a kind and friendly smile. "Tell me, Cody, what do you think of the Digital World so far?"

Blinking his eyes, Cody took a moment as he pondered the question, before the young Digidestined gave his answer.

"I admit this whole thing with Millenniummon and the Demon Lords has me kind of scared, but everything else intrigues me. I'd like to learn more about this place, but I want to know what I can do to help Davis, Veemon and the others." Cody told Izzy in reply.

Upon speaking his thoughts and expressing such emotion, Cody was taken off guard when the Digi-Egg within his possession began to glow with a bright golden light, with Yolei sharing a similar bewilderment as her Digi-Egg emanated with a bright purple hue.

"Splendid!" Hawkmon said with great enthusiasm, one shared by Armadillomon.

Looking upon Yolei and Cody with a growing sense of pride and trust, the armadillo Digimon then instructed. "Now all y'all gotta do is say, 'Digi-Armour Energize', then we can get this show on the road and find Veemon and the others!"

Looking upon one another and sharing an expression of determination, Yolei and Cody raised the Digi-Eggs high into the air and declared with a great might within their voices. "Digi-Armour Energize!"

With their declarations, Hawkmon and Armadillomon were each consumed in bright lights, their forms changing as the Digidestined and other Digimon heard the pair declare with powerful voices. "Hawkmon/Armadillomon, Armour Digivolve to...!"

When the lights faded, Yolei and Cody remained astonished to see that their Digimon partners had now changed forms, the sight of which too bewildered Izzy, Sora and their Digimon partners.

Amazed by this phenomenon, especially after what Tai had told him about Agumon's inability to Digivolve, Izzy found himself only able to mutter one word. "Prodigious."

In place of Hawkmon was a large bird-like Digimon which had four talons for feet.

Now standing around the size of a horse, the top of the creature's head was covered by metal plating that closely resembled the Digi-Egg of Love, leaving his eyes and beak free.

With his Digivolution complete, the new Digimon declared with a further might in his deeper voice. "Halsemon, the Wings of Love!"

Meanwhile and in place of Armadillomon was a large bipedal insectoid Digimon clad in a golden exoskeleton that closely resembled the Digi-Egg of Knowledge.

Drills now protruded from the Digimon's fingers, and from his mouth, acting similar to a snout.

Giving the drills on his fingers a small spin and bracing himself, Cody's partner then announced with a might quite similar to Halsemon's. "Digmon, the Drill of Knowledge!"

"Wow..." Yolei and Cody said with a shared awe, the pair uncaring as the Digi-Eggs within their possessions transformed into D-terminals as they had for Davis as the two younger Digidestined were still bewildered by their new Digimon partners and their Digivolutions.

Looking upon his new partner and seeing Yolei bewildered from his appearance, Halsemon gave a fair reminder to the task ahead as he suggested. "Now, let us make haste and save Veemon and your friends!"

Snapping the Digidestined and the remaining Digimon out of their shock and knowing the new Digimon of Love was right, Yolei and the others all shared serious expressions.

Davis, Veemon, Kari and Gatomon needed them, and there was no time to lose.

.

.

.

Meanwhile and with a small groan, Davis slowly opened his eyes as consciousness finally returned to him.

Trying to recall what had occurred before his blackout, the last thing the Digidestined of Miracles could remember was of how he and Veemon fell into the large hole that the Drimogemon had created.

Snapping his eyes open as he realized that they might be in danger, Davis looked around and, to his shock, found himself held by metal clamps around his wrists and ankles to the side of another massive hole the Drimogemon undoubtedly created.

"Don't try to struggle too hard, these clamps are tight." A familiar voice informed Davis.

Turning his head to his left, Davis looked with shock to find Veemon bound by similar metal restraints.

Expressing a frown of frustration upon his face, the Digimon of Miracles once again tried to free himself from the metal cuffs, to no avail.

"Vee, what happened?" Davis asked with concern as he struggled against the cuffs.

"The infected Digimon captured us and no doubt put us like this on display for their Masters to see." Veemon told Davis in reply, before looking across from him, where the V-marked Digimon added with a grim tone. "And we weren't the only ones they captured."

To Veemon's remark and looking ahead, Davis gained an expression of pure shock and concern to see Kari and Gatomon restrained by their own metal cufflinks upon the other side of the crater.

From her position and seeing Davis finally awake, concern got the better of the Digidestined of Light.

"Davis, are you ok?!" she questioned with a great concern in her voice, while next to her, Gatomon did what she could to try and free herself from her restraints.

"Kari?! W.. what happened, how did they catch you?!" Davis inquired in reply as fear gripped his heart, not only toward the sight of his best friend now trapped, but to how he was unable to do anything for her.

"I was trying to save you." Kari said in reply, her words shocking the Digidestined of Miracles as the younger of the Kamiya siblings then went on and said. "Gatomon and I leapt into the crater after you two, but the Drimogemon caught us as well."

"Kari, what were you thinking?! Gatomon can't Digivolve, you should have stayed and helped the others!" Davis said with a growing concern in his voice, his fears for Kari's safety far outweighing his own.

"I had to do something, I ... I couldn't let them take you away!" Kari snapped in reply as she too expressed her growing frustration, her reply startling even Gatomon, who looked upon the Digidestined of Light with a growing concern.

"Kari, you..." Davis tried to say, but found his words cut off as the Digidestined of Light expressed her growing frustrations even more.

"You've always been there for me, always protecting me, why can't I protect you for once!" Kari all but screamed, before tears trailed down her eyes as almost whispered in pain. "Why can't I save you for once...?"

Despite knowing afterward that he was fine, the memory Kari held of finding Davis unconscious with all the other children during Myotismon's invasion remained fresh in her mind, along with the fear, the desperation and the deep consuming feeling of loss she felt when she thought he was badly hurt.

Seeing Kari almost in tears, Davis gained a soft, albeit pained expression as he all but whispered. "You already did save me..."

Looking between his partner and Kari, as well as listening to their words and the emotions they expressed, Veemon could easily see that Davis and the Digidestined of Light were very close, perhaps closer than each knew, a thought that only brought a smile to the Digimon of Miracles' face.

However, that smile quickly turned into a frown as Veemon then heard a voice from above say with a snide tone of voice. "Well, ain't this quaint."

To the voice, Davis, Veemon, Kari and Gatomon looked upward and saw what appeared to be a Meramon solely made of blue flames looking down from the edge of the crater with a sly smirk upon his face.

Looking over the flame Digimon, Veemon's eyes narrowed upon seeing a gold medallion upon the Digimon's chest, one bearing the Mark of Gluttony.

"He's one of the Demon Lords' servants." The V-marked Digimon informed his friends as Davis, Kari and Gatomon realized that this BlueMeramon was another evil Digimon just like the Troopmon they encountered the day before.

"That's right, punk, and I've got someone here who's really eager to speak with you again." The BlueMeramon said in reply as he brought his right hand up, revealing a black orb that began to glow with a dark and wicked aura.

At the same time, Kari felt a cold chill run down her spine, as if something dark and terrible was about to speak through the orb.

Unable to do anything but watch, Davis, Kari and their Digimon partners saw three red eyes manifest and then glare upon them from within the dark object.

"Well, well, if it isn't the last of the Royal Knights. You have no idea how pathetic you look right now." A dark and mensing voice said mockingly from the orb, the comment and cruel tone causing Veemon to growl in anger.

"Beelzemon! Where are you? Are you too scared to face me, coward?!" The Digimon of Miracles inquired with a growing fury within his voice as Davis, Kari and Gatomon now realized that they were talking with the Demon Lord of Gluttony.

"And waste my time with a weakling like you? Nah, you're not even worth too much of my attention, not without your precious armour." The Demon Lord now known as Beelzemon remarked with a condescending tone of voice, one that irritated Veemon to no end.

"But tell you what, if you can survive this, whatever other challenges come your way, and by some slim chance you ever find your armour again, then I'll come and settle our score once and for all." The Lord of Gluttony said with an amused chuckle, his dark taunting now bothering Davis, Kari and Gatomon.

"Alright, I've had enough reminiscing. BlueMeramon, deal with them and I'll reward you when you return." Beelzemon then told the BlueMeramon as the dark orb faded from the flame Digimon's grasp.

Smirking from his assigned task, the BlueMeramon lowered his right arm and brought his left hand up, snapping his fingers in the process.

As the sound resonated throughout the area, a series of growls alerted Davis, Kari and their partners that they were not alone, where the group saw the infected Snimon and Mojyamon moved to either side of the BlueMeramon, while below, the two Digidestined and their Digimon partners saw the Drimogemon slowly crawling up the crater toward them, each of the infected Digimon looking ready to tear them all apart.

Resuming in their futile efforts to break free, both Davis and Kari found themselves desperate to break out, to free the other and get them to safety as the fear for one another's lives outweighed their own.

"Eagle Eye!" A voice then declared with a great might, just before a barrage of red beams struck through the restraints bounding Davis, Kari and their Digimon partners.

With the metal clamps destroyed, the four soon found themselves free, but once again falling into the depths.

However and before they could fall any further, Davis and Veemon saw something swoop down from the skies and grab them, while the wall behind of Kari and Gatomon broke open, allowing the Digidestined and Digimon of Light to then see a pair of arms wrap around their bodies, holding them as their saviour launched them all into the air.

Feeling themselves shifted in the air and safe from harm, Davis and Veemon soon found themselves on the back of the flying being that saved them, before the maroon haired Digidestined found Yolei also sitting upon the back of the flying Digimon.

Turning her head back to face the perplexed boy, Yolei told her crush with a big smile. "Don't worry, my dear Davis, the calvary is here!"

While surprised to see that Yolei had saved them, Veemon gained a more joyous expression as he realized the identity of the Digimon he was now sitting on, knowing they were Yolei's Digimon partner and a trusted friend.

"Halsemon!" The Digimon of Miracles declared with excitement, before he looked down to see Digmon carrying Kari and Gatomon to safety, while Cody was perched upon the insectoid Digimon shoulder.

"Digmon, my friends, you're back!" Veemon exclaimed with pure joy in his voice.

"Indeed, my Lord, and we are here to aid you." Halsemon said with a great respect in his tone, though his answer caused a tick mark to appear upon the Digimon of Miracles' forehead.

"How many times do I have to tell you to stop calling me that?!" Veemon snapped in annoyance.

"Sorry, boss, you know better than anyone he's not going to change his ways." Digmon spoke up with a fair chuckle, his words annoying Veemon a little further.

While Davis silently watched to see the frustration his Digimon partner expressed his annoyance to his allies, the maroon haired Digidestined quickly looked around and took note of where they were located.

Finding that this new crater was right next to the Dark Spire within the area, Davis then looked down and found Sora, Izzy, TK and their Digimon had arrived on the far side of the large opening.

Watching on as Digmon dropped Kari and Gatomon off with the rest of those who couldn't fight for the time being, Davis then looked down and saw the BlueMeramon looking upon them with shock and confusion, while the infected Digimon remained snarling with rage.

"Vee, you ready?" Davis then questioned as he looked back and upon his partner, who gave the maroon haired Digidestined a thumbs up, indicating that he was ready to go.

"Yolei, please get us down there." Davis asked politely as he kept his eyes focused upon the enemies below.

"Sure... no problem." The purple haired Digidestined said in an almost dreamy voice as she tried to ignore the fact that her crush had his arms wrapped around her waist for support.

As Halsemon turned and swooped down to battle the enemy, Veemon leapt from the Digimon of Love's back, just as Davis withdrew his Digivice and declared with a great might in his voice. "Digi-Armour Energize!"

"Veemon, Armour Digivolve to... Flamedramon, the Fire of Courage!" The Digimon of Miracles called as he transformed into his Armoured Digivolved form.

Landing on his feet and a few inches from the Mojyamon, which expelled a rage-filled cry as it brought its club up and prepared for battle, Flamedramon ignited his claws as he too prepared for combat.

At the same time, Davis leapt from off of Halsemon's back and landed behind Flamedramon, ready to aid his partner in any way he could.

While staying close to his partner, Davis took note as the infected Snimon took off after Yolei and Halsemon.

"Hang on, Yolei!" Halsemon bellowed in warning as he shot faster through the air, dodging the strikes of the Snimon's scythes, along with the energy its weapons unleashed upon him.

Hanging on for dear life, Yolei did her best to remain brave as she and her Digimon partner began to battle the mantis Digimon.

"Hang in there, Cody!" Digmon then said as he knew there was another combatant to deal with, where, once he felt Cody tighten his grip around his neck, the Digimon of Knowledge started spinning the drills on his hands and his nose, before digging his way back into the ground below.

Tunneling through the earth, Digmon and Cody soon found themselves within a large underground tunnel, where the duo then heard a loud roar ahead of them and found the Drimogemon rushing toward them from out of the shadows.

Undeterred by the size of his foe, Digmon stood his ground as he brought his arms up, the drills that made up his fingers spinning rapidly as he clashed his drills with the Drimogemon's, easily parrying and dodging the strikes from the infected Digimon.

Watching from Digmon's shoulder, Cody found himself in awe as his Digimon partner seemed to match the strength of his foe, even as the Digimon of Knowledge delivered a powerful uppercut to the Drimogemon's face, sending the large creature reeling backwards in pain.

"Rock Cracking!" Digmon then declared as he then slammed his drills into the ground, the impact causing the ground to crack apart and for a fissure line to form beneath the Drimogemon's feet, causing the beast to then lose its footing.

"Gold Rush!" The Digimon of Knowledge then bellowed as he fired off the drills from his fingers and nose, which all shot toward the infected Drimogemon, slamming into the creature's stomach and sending it flying through the ceiling, pushing through the earth until it reached the surface.

Expelling a pain-filled cry, the Drimogemon then slammed into the ground below with a loud thud, creating a large impact crater as Digmon and Cody returned to the surface, just as the drills returned to the insectoid Digimon's being.

Once the dust cleared, Cody and Digmon looked with pleased expressions to see that the Drimogemon was now unconscious and the dark aura around it was slowly fading, showing that the Digimon was no longer infected by Millenniummon's darkness.

Meanwhile and back within the skies, Halsemon and the infected Snimon continued to battle.

Clashing his talons with the mantis Digimon's blades as the duo battled for dominance, Halsemon decided it was time to end this battle.

"Yolei, hang on tight, this is going to get rough!" The Digimon of Love then informed his partner with a serious tone.

Uncertain to what Halsemon had in mind, but trusting his words, Yolei nodded in reply and gripped upon his feathered back a little tighter.

Rushing toward the Snimon, Halsemon dodged a series of energy strikes sent forth from the mantis Digimon, before the Digimon of Love declared with a powerful might. "Tempest Wing!"

Turning at incredible speeds, Halsemon's body formed a twister around his being as he lunged himself directly at the Snimon, temporarily ignoring the panicked screams from his partner as he slammed into the infected Digimon's torso.

Between the combination of the impact and power displayed by the Digimon of Love, the Snimon expelled a loud shriek as it went crashing into the ground below with a tremendous outburst of dirt and debris.

Once the dust settled and observing Snimon from a safe distance, Halsemon watched as the dark aura around the mantis Digmon disappeared, the sight bringing a smile to the Digimon of Love upon seeing his foe freed from Millenniummon and his darkness.

Looking over his shoulder, however, Halsemon sweatdropped as he saw the spirals now filling Yolei's eyes.

Moaning fairly from the dizziness she now felt, Halsemon knew he would have to apologize to his new partner eventually.

"Flame Fist!" Flamedramon declared as he clashed his fiery hands with the Mojyamon's club, the infected Digimon bellowing in rage as it tried to strike down his foe.

Leaping into the air and dodging another swing from Mojyamon's club, Flamedramon landed upon the club and ran up the infected Digimon's arm, where he then delivered a swift kick to Mojyamon's face, the action sending the beast Digimon staggering backwards and to then drop his weapon.

"Express Claw!" The Digimon of Miracles then announced as he rushed forward and delivered a series of fiery fist strikes upon the Mojyamon, the impacts sending the infected Digimon flying backwards as it crashed into a series of trees, spirals now filling its eyes as the dark aura around its form vanished.

Looking around and seeing Digmon and Halsemon nearby, Flamedramon and his friends then looked upon the Dark Spire as the trio of Armoured Digimon knew it could not be left standing.

"Fire Rocket!"

"Eagle Eye!"

"Gold Rush!"

Unleashing their attacks as one, Flamedramon, Halsemon and Digmon struck at the Dark Spire, which crumbled away and began to break apart into Data particles, a sight that left the remaining Digidestined and Digimon in awe, especially when life seemed to return to their Digivices, alerting them that the power preventing the Digimon from Digivolving had been lifted.

As Kari, TK, Sora, Izzy and their Digimon partners rushed to join them, Davis, Yolei, Cody and their Digimon partners all glared upon the last remaining enemy, the BlueMeramon, who sweated in fear as he stammered back in fear.

Going into a flight before fight mode, the BlueMervamon turned and began to run away, using his flames to propel himself into the air in order to avoid his enemies.

Although Halsemon and Digmon were about to give chase, the pair stopped as Flamedramon held his arms out, the Digimon of Miracles allowing Beelzemon's cowardly servant to return to his Master so he could report his failure.

However...

"Spiking Strike!" A loud and mighty voice then declared, startling the BlueMeramon just as he turned and was then sliced apart by a powerful red energy blade.

Shocked by the sudden attack, the Digidestined and their Digimon partners watched as the BlueMeramon dissolved into Data particles, before their attention focused upon the evil Digimon's attacker.

Looking upon the mysterious being, Davis and the others saw that it was a large humanoid shaped insect Digimon with green scales, four wings and large red eyes, ones that Flamedramon was sure were now staring at him as the mystery Digimon took off to a small ridge nearby.

Turning their attention upon the small rock formation, the Digidestined and Digimon then saw something none of them were expecting to see, another human being.

Looking upon the unknown individual, Davis saw that it was a boy around his age, who was wearing a grey suit.

The individual had dark blue hair, matching dark eyes that seemed to look down upon the group with little to no emotion in his expression.

Despite the cold way the boy looked upon them, Davis couldn't help but feel something as he watched the mystery Digimon fly toward the boy, before it turned into energy and shrunk in size, winding up upon the boy's shoulder as it now resembled a small green worm-like Digimon that looked back upon the Digidestined with a mixed look of emotions deep within its eyes.

Without saying a word, the mystery boy then turned and began to walk away, leaving the Digidestined and their Digimon partners with a further sense of confusion.

As the mystery human proceeded to leave and from his arms, the small worm-like Digimon looked upon the boy and questioned. "Shouldn't we see if they need any help?"

"No, they'll just be a burden." The boy just said coldly as he and his Digimon partner proceeded into the woods, to locate more servants of the Demon Lords and to bring them to the same justice as BlueMeramon.

Watching as the boy and his apparent Digimon partner walked away, the Digidestined shared an unsaid shock to know that there was another Digidestined out there, even if it seemed he wanted nothing to do with them.

And yet, Davis and a few others couldn't help but wonder why the mysterious boy seemed familiar to them, as though they had seen his face once before.

Knowing that they would have to speak with Gennai about this later, the Digidestined and their Digimon partners allowed themselves to relax for a moment and revel in the fact that they had won this battle, while Flamedramon looked upon Halsemon and Digmon with a bright smile to find two of his old friends returned to him.

As they took a moment to enjoy the temporary peace, Sora, TK and Gatomon then gained concerned expressions as they looked upon Kari.

Taking in the Digidestined of Light and finding she was almost in tears, concern returned to Sora, TK and Gatomon toward Kari's silent distress, who looked upon the group of newer Digidestined.

"I... I couldn't do anything for him... I was nothing but a burden..." The young Kamiya all but choked out as she fought back tears as she took notice of how Davis was enthusiastically speaking with Yolei and Cody about their new Digimon partners, her inability to help Davis in his time of need affecting her greatly.

Though he remained a little jealous of the relationship between his best female friend and Davis, TK swallowed his negative feelings, before he then approached the Digidestined of Light and placed a comforting hand upon her shoulder.

"It's alright, Kari, there are other ways we can help Davis and the others." The Digidestined of Hope told Kari with a gentle tone as the Digidestined of Light continued to look upon the ground with tears trailing down her eyes.

Seeing how Kari remained distressed, Sora then joined the pair and gently rubbed the brunette's back.

"He's right. Davis and the others will need our guides, our experience in order to fight Millenniummon and the Demon Lords. You'll be there for Davis, I promise." The Digidestined of Love said with a soft smile as she tried to comfort the young Kamiya.

Looking upon her partner, however, Gatomon could tell that their words weren't comforting enough for Kari, that there remained a deep pain within the Digidestined of Light for not being able to help Davis once again, a feeling the feline Digimon shared as she wished she could do more for Veemon.

"Kari, are you alright?!" Davis then questioned in concern, the maroon haired boy rushing up to his close friend once he saw her in tears as he worried that she had been hurt during the battle.

Hearing Davis' voice, Kari suddenly snapped.

Rushing to her best friend and wrapping her arms tightly around his waist as she buried her head in his chest, Kari sobbed lightly, the action startling most within the group, save for Sora who smiled sadly upon the scene, and Davis, who gently wrapped his arms around the brunette in a protective and caring hold.

Holding Kari close to his chest, to let her know he'd always be there for her, Davis then whispered with a soft and caring tone of voice. "It's alright, Kari, I'm here for you."

At the same time and despite her depression, Kari also felt a growing determination within her, that somehow and in some way, she'd be able to stand alongside Davis in the battles ahead.

A moment later, however, Kari's tears came to a halt as the Digidestined of Light felt a dark presence in the air, one that far surpassed what she had experienced from Beelzemon's mere projection.

"Um... is that supposed to do that?!" Tentomon questioned with a great fear within his voice, his call causing Davis and Kari to break their embrace as they and the rest of the group looked to see what was terrifying the Digimon of Knowledge.

Instead of having faded away, the Digidestined and their Digimon partners saw that the Data particles of the Dark Spire were still present and were now coming together, before reforming into a large and menacing shadowy shape.

Instinctively, Flamedramon, Halsemon and Digmon moved into defensive poses before the Digidestined and the other Digimon, while Davis moved into a protective stance just before Kari.

Staying strong for Kari, the Digidestined of Miracles watched as the shadowy form grew two snake-like heads, before two pairs of red eyes looked down upon the group with pure malice.

"We meet again, little knight." A dark and ominous voice then said mockingly from the shadows, a voice that caused the Armoured Digimon to growl in anger.

"Don't you dare, Monster!" Flamedramon snarled as he looked upon the shadow, a shadow projecting the image of his greatest nightmare.

"W... what is that?!" Yolei asked with a growing dread as she moved behind Davis for protection.

Staying strong, Halsemon replied to his partner with a deeply serious tone of voice. "That is a projection of Millenniummon."

While the majority of the Digidestined were shocked and a little terrified to hear that they were speaking to the entity that commanded the Demon Lords and was responsible for the calamity spreading throughout the Digital World, Izzy couldn't help but feel somewhat intrigued.

"So he can project his consciousness out of his prison." Izzy stated in awe, before dread filled the red haired Digidestined as Millenniummon expelled an amused chuckle and looked upon him.

"This one thinks he knows me, the boy who never knew his parents." The dark Digimon said with a continued mocking tone, his words causing Izzy's eyes to widen in shock as Tentomon looked upon his partner with concern, for there weren't many who knew that Izzy was adopted.

"You are all so small, so insignificant." Millenniummon then stated as his eyes gazed upon Sora, TK, Yolei, Cody and Kari, where the evil Digimon said with a continued mockery. "The Child of Love, too afraid to follow her heart, the hopeless child so desperate to put his broken family back together, the small girl, crying out for attention, the little boy lost in the shadows of the dead, the Child of Light, unaware of the darkness deep within her heart."

Gazing finally upon Davis, Millenniummon finally said as he glared upon the Digidestined of Miracles. "And finally the lost child, alone and out of place within the world. Soon, you will all perish, and I will be freed!"

With his mockery done, the shadow of Millenniummon exploded into Data particles, which finally vanished for good, but the Digidestined remained shaken by this encounter with the evil that threatened the Digital World.

Meanwhile and from another ridge not too far off, another being had watched the entire battle and the brief conversation Millenniummon held with the Digidestined, a being that appeared to be a tall woman with long, white hair and who wore a red dress.

Keeping most of her appearance hidden behind a hat and dark sunglasses, the woman allowed a soft smirk to grace her face as she continued to silently observe the Digidestined.

Turning as the Digidestined and their Digimon partners checked on the formerly infected Digimon, the woman then walked off.

She knew she would have to report these developments, but her smirk only grew as she remained intrigued to see where things would go from here.

Not long after the battle and allowing those now freed from Milleniummon's evil to find sanctuary, the Digidestined and their Digimon partners regrouped at Gennai's house to inform the Digital Human of what had happened since they left his house.

After Hawkmon and Armadillomon formally introduced themselves to Davis, Kari, Gatomon, Gennai and Ogremon, the group explained everything in detail to the Digital Human, from Davis and Veemon being captured and Kari and Gatomon's unsuccessful attempt to save them, to Yolei and Cody meeting their Digimon partners, the brief conversation Davis, Kari and their Digimon partners had with Beelzemon, to the battle and the mystery Digidestined that aided them, before ending as they mentioned their disturbing conversation with Millenniummon himself.

Holding a frown upon his face to the more negative of the tales, Gennai took a moment to process everything he was told, before the Digital Human told the humans and Digimon before him. "To hear there is another human out there is indeed a surprise, unfortunately, I know nothing about this unknown Digidestined, but I'll keep my eyes and ears out for any information I can find."

"For now, it's getting late and you should all probably head on home. I promise the Digimon will be safe here." Gennai then said with a soft smile, reassuring the Digidestined that they need not have to worry about their partners' safety until they saw them again.

Knowing that it was indeed late and that they should be heading back to their world, the Digidestined said their goodbyes to their partners, with Sora and Izzy hugging Biyomon and Tentomon, reassuring the duo that they would see them again as soon as they could, while the rest of the Digidestined assured their partners that they'll see them tomorrow the minute their classes had ended, where they would figure out their next move against the Demon Lords.

Turning to the television monitor set within Gennai's living room, Davis and the other Digidestined held their Digivices out, before the Digidestined of Miracles then declared with a firm command in his voice. "Digi-port, open!"

As the light of the screen and intensified, Gennai, Ogremon, Biyomon and Tentomon were then shocked to see not only the Digidestined being transported back to the Real World, but to see that Veemon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, Gatomon and Patamon were also sucked into the monitor as well.

.

.

.

Meanwhile and back within the Real World, Tai exhumed a frustrated sigh as he slowly made his way back to the computer lab.

Having finally ended his chat with his old teacher, the brunette was now curious as to what was going on with the others within the Digital World.

"How does a guy have so many problems with women?!" The Digidestined of Courage groaned as he proceeded down the hallway.

Returning mere steps from just outside of the computer lab, confusion consumed Tai as he saw a bright light emanating from the computer lab, before the sound of a loud thud and a series of loud cries followed close by.

Rushing within the computer lab, Tai stood at the doorway, his expression a stupor to see that Davis and the others had safely returned, but the Digidestined were now clumped together on a dog pile, quite similar to what he had been caught within the day before.

Perplexed by the sight and knowing it'd take a while before they'd get used to such travel, what truly shook the older Kamiya was the fact that he not only saw Davis, Cody, Yolei, Kari, TK, Izzy and Sora amongst the dog pile, but the Digidestined of Courage also saw Gatomon, Patamon and three smaller Digimon he had never seen before now amongst the group.

Taking notice of one of the newer Digimon, however, Tai quickly recognized the individual as he said with awe in his voice. "The new Digimon are in their In-Training forms!"

After Kari and TK composed themselves and recovered from the initial shock to find that Gatomon and Patamon had returned to the Real World with them, from her position, Yolei looked in front of her lap and found her Digimon partner had changed.

No longer Hawkmon, Yolei remained bewildered to see a small and rounded bird-like Digimon with pink feathers, two small wings and a small beak now within her lap.

To Yolei, the only features that told her that this was indeed her Digimon partner were the shining blue eyes and single feather sticking out of his head.

Meanwhile, and looking up from his upside-down position, Cody saw sitting on his chest was a newer Digimon in place of Armadillomon, a small and rounded pale coloured Digimon with black eyes and two small fin-like ears, which blinked a few times and expressed confusion toward his partner.

As the group, including those within the dog pile, looked upon the In-Training forms of Hawkmon and Armadillomon, the Digidestined and Digimon then looked upon Davis, who looked up as he then felt something standing on top of his head.

Looking himself over, Davis now found a small Digimon, which he assumed was Veemon's In-Training form, now resting above.

Looking upon his Digimon partner with confusion and awe, Davis and the others saw that the small being resembled a chibi version of the Digimon of Miracles, its features included tiny fingerless hands and feet, big red eyes and two pointed ears, almost resembling a stuffed toy in the process.

'He's so cute!' Kari, Yolei, Sora and, much to her own surprise, Gatomon thought simultaneously as they looked upon the small Digimon.

Allowing Davis to gently place his hands around his tinier form and to set him down, Veemon's In-Training form looked himself over with for a moment, before smiling as he looked back upon his partner.

"Don't worry, Davis, it's still me, I'm just DemiVeemon now." The Digimon of Miracles told the confused Digidestined.

With DemiVeemon's voice pitched higher and adding to his cuteness in the girls' eyes, Davis mentally chuckled as he was left wondering how he'd have to deal with having his Digimon partner at home with him.

.

.

.

After finally leaving the school, the Digidestined and the Digimon met up with Matt, who had rushed to the school once his band practice had finished in order to hear about what had happened in the Digital World.

Not leaving out any details, the Digidestined who had traveled to the Digital World and the Digimon told Tai and Matt about Millenniummon and the Demon Lords, of the war that was waged in ancient times to imprison them, as well as the events that transpired during the course of the day, all of which left the Digidestined of Courage and of Friendship worried for the future of the Digital World.

Once the group finished their talk, Izzy excused himself so he could return home and update Joe and Mimi on the situation, while the group dropped off Yolei, Cody and their Digimon partners, Poromon and Upamon, at their homes for the evening.

Now, and as the sun set over Odaiba, Tai, Kari, Sora, TK, Matt and Davis were walking toward the Motomiya's apartment complex, with DemiVeemon, Gatomon and Patamon hiding within their partners' backpacks or gym bags.

"It's a good thing Patamon and the others are small, it makes it easier to hide them." The Digidestined of Hope said with a smile on his face.

"TK, get me out of here, your gym socks are still in here!" The Digidestined of Hope then heard Patamon cry in panic as he rustled frantically within TK's bag, Patamon's remark causing a blush of embarrassment to then appear upon TK's face as he chuckled nervously.

As the group also chuckled toward the interaction between TK and Patamon, Tai expressed his more serious side as he then turned his attention upon Davis.

"Ok, Davis, I don't think I have to tell you why we need to keep the Digimon hidden from the world, right?" He questioned with a firm and serious expression.

"I do understand, Tai, but there is one person you know I have to tell about all this." The maroon haired Digidestined said in reply as he continued to lead the group toward his apartment.

While Davis' reply gradually confused and intrigued TK, Matt and the Digimon, the two brothers were even more confused as they looked upon Tai, where TK and Matt watched the older Kamiya's eyes widen and for his face to pale in realization.

"Um.. yeah, no, let's not, please...!?" The Digidestined of Courage asked with a nervous, almost panicked chuckle, the sight of which caused both Kari and Sora to giggle a little as the pair knew who Davis was referring to.

"Tai, you know I can't keep something like this from her." Davis said with a serious tone in his voice, the maroon haired Digidestined uncaring to the whimper of fear Tai emitted from his voice as TK and Matt were left confused by the fear the Digidestined of Courage was showing.

Soon arriving at his apartment, Davis gently knocked on the door, an action that slightly perplexed TK and Matt as the brothers wondered why the Digidestined of Miracles would knock on his own front door.

After a moment, the door opened and Matt was left with a small blush on his face as he took in the individual standing at the door.

Standing before Davis and the others was a young girl around Tai, Sora and Matt's age with lightly tanned skin, somewhat spiked maroon coloured hair and warm brown eyes.

Looking over the group, the maroon haired girl then looked upon Davis with a soft smile.

"Hey there, squirt." The girl said with a teasing but loving tone of voice, before she looked upon Kari, Sora and the company and added with a continued friendliness within her voice. "Hey there Kari, Sora... Tai."

Despite her friendly tone of voice, Matt and TK picked upon an unsaid edge within the girl's voice, one directed toward Tai, an edge that seemed to cause the older Kamiya to shiver in fear.

Although puzzled by the relationship between Tai and the maroon haired girl, Matt and TK felt some confusion as the girl seemingly examined them with a curious expression.

"These are friends of mine. This is TK Takaishi and his older brother, Matt Ishida." Davis said as he introduced the brothers to the mysterious girl, where Matt saw the girl's eyebrow go up, most likely due to him and TK having different last names.

"Divorced parents." The Digidestined of Friendship commented to the unasked question, which left the maroon haired girl to softly nod in understanding.

Deciding to introduce the maroon haired girl to his friends, Davis then told TK and Matt. "This is my older sister, Jun."

Turning his attention back upon his sibling, Davis then asked with a curious tone of voice. "Jun, do you have a minute? We need to talk to you about something."

"Sure, I've got an hour before I've got to meet with a few of my girlfriends." Jun replied with a smile.

Moving aside and allowing her brother and his friends to enter the apartment, Jun shot Tai another small glare as he passed on by, to his growing dismay.

Once gathered within the Motomiyas' living room, Davis sat on the couch as Kari and TK sat on either side of him, while Tai sat in a chair next to the couch and Sora and Matt stood off to the side, leaving only Jun, who stood before her brother and his friends.

Her arms crossed and a curious expression upon her face, Jun then inquired. "Alright, what's up, Davis?"

Thinking for a moment on how best to tell his sister what he needed to tell her, Davis started by asking Jun with a serious tone of voice. "I know we don't normally talk about it, but you do remember when we were all captured by those ugly ghost things a few years ago?"

To the question, Jun's smile slowly melted, her eyes widening, before her glare turned towards Tai.

"Yes..." The maroon haired girl answered with a small edge in her voice.

"Well..." Davis then started to say as he chuckled a little.

Trying his best to think of how to best explain things to his older sister, DemiVeemon misunderstood his partner's silence as his cue, before the Digimon of Miracles popped himself out of Davis' bag and looked upon Jun with a big smile on his face.

"Hi, I'm DemiVeemon, Davis' Digimon partner! It's nice to meet you, Jun!" DemiVeemon declared with a friendly tone of voice.

Taking DemiVeemon's introduction as their own cue, Gatomon and Patamon both popped their heads out of Kari and TK's bags as the pair made their own introductions.

"I'm Gatomon and Kari's Digimon partner." The Digimon of Light told Jun with a small bow, while Patamon waved one of his tiny hands and said with his own friendly tone of voice. "And I'm Patamon, TK's partner."

Once the introductions ended, there was a moment of silence as Jun seemed to stare at the Digimon with a neutral expression, one that caused DemiVeemon, Gatomon, Patamon, Matt and TK to sweat drop as they wondered how the maroon haired girl would react to seeing such creatures.

A moment later, however, Jun snapped as she closed the distance between herself and Tai, grabbing the older Kamiya by his shirt collar and lifting him slightly into the air as she began to shake him violently.

"What the hell have you gotten my brother involved with now, Kamiya?!" The older of the Motomiya siblings screamed in pure rage as she continued to shake Tai further, fire filling her eyes as she glared upon the scared and somewhat dazed Digidestined of Courage.

"Damn it, why do you always go after me!?" Tai asked with an understandable panic in his voice as Jun pulled the frightened Digidestined of Courage ahead so that her eyes were boring into his own.

"Because he's my brother, and I can't get mad at Kari or Sora, so that leaves you!" Jun replied with a seething rage, before she began shaking Tai once again, to his distress.

'Damn it, this always happens!' Tai mentally wailed as Jun continued to shake him around.

Between Jun's outburst and her shaking him, Tai knew that any time Davis was injured, even if it was just a simple scratch, or something out of the ordinary had occurred, Jun would most likely release her vengeance upon him.

'Holy crap, she's scary...' TK thought as he silently watched Jun handle Tai.

Now understanding why the older Kamiya was so terrified of Davis' sister, the Digidestined of Hope knew he had to be cautious around her.

'Holy crap, she's hot...' Matt then found himself thinking, a bright blush appearing upon his face as he wondered why that thought crossed his mind, leaving the Digidestined of Friendship questioning his own preferences as he watched the maroon haired girl manhandle his best friend.

As Kari and the other Digimon chuckled a little to Tai's predicament, even as Sora did her best to try and calm Jun down, Davis and DemiVeemon looked at one another and smile, both knowing that this was only the beginning, the beginning of good times and bad ones, but times they'll face together.

Author's Note: The team is assembled and some unexpected characters have made their presence known. What future awaits the Digidestined? Stay tuned as the adventure continues.

Originally, this chapter and the last were supposed to be one, but upon seeing the length I divided it into two.

As for the next chapter, that will most likely be out something next year (yes, we're that close already), as I plan that chapter out better and work on Destiny's Salvation, as well as work and the holiday schedules.

Hope you all enjoy this chapter until the next one comes out, keep an eye out for my other works and enjoy the holiday season everyone.
