Summary:
Duel Academy, the school built by Seto Kaiba to foster a new generation of talented duelists is one of the greatest institutions in the world... that said, with the knowledge of three dangerous cards sealed under the school it might be a good idea if someone there was able to keep an eye on things and let Kaiba know what's going on at Academy Island. Perhaps, the young boy with the new Kuriboh monster? He'll need a special deck to use for emergencies but maybe this Jaden Yuki can keep Duel Academy running smoothly while enjoying his special entrance?

It was late at night when a secret facility on the island has it's alarm blaring where running from some guards or scientists was a monkey wearing a helmet, and has a Duel Disk was jumping around before going through a window to escape as a guard with a Tranquilizer Gun looked out before running back in to try chasing after him.
The next day...
Chazz was walking out with his bag over him before glaring at Duel Academy with disgust at how he had been treated. Being defeated by Jaden twice now, and next up being demoted, and laughed up by his peers well that does it, he decided he won't take there treatment of him any longer. "Stinking Duel Academy. You demoted me, you laughed at me well that's it, I've had it."
He walked off to find what else to do now while nearby was Jaden discussing things with Syrus, and Chumley about Bastion's duel with Chazz the other day in the hallways of Duel Academy.
"And then he brought out his Water Dragon, he had it planned the whole time and won in a single attack." Jaden finished. "Bastion's going to be tough to beat."
"Yeah definitely, he's the smartest kid in the freshmen class." Chumley admitted over to him.
Syrus nodded in agreement over. "Yeah, he probably is working about things against the Deck, Kaiba gave you by now."
"I don't know... that might be an advantage I have against him... he won't know which deck to expect." Jaden grinned. "By the way, are you up for a match Sy?"
"Huh, me?" Syrus asked surprised hearing that.
"Yeah, it could be a blast. I'll even let you pick which deck I use." Jaden smiled.
"Uh, I don't know Jaden, I'm trying my best but I probably be creamed by you..." Syrus admitted as some Obelisks walked past them where they overheard them talking about Chazz leaving the Academy.
"By the way you guys, I saw Chazz packing his stuff late last night." one of the Obelisk Blue mentioned.
"Yeah, well I bet I know why... it's because he lost to that Ra Yellow." another Obelisk Blue smirked.
"Bastion Misawa right? Yeah he got beat bad apparently, and that's not even counting the failure Slifer who managed to take him down... no wonder he ran away with his tail between his legs." the first Obelisk mentioned as they started to laugh.
"Did you hear that? Chazz is gone." Chumley spoke towards the two.
"Yeah..." Jaden frowned. "I feel kind of guilty about it though."
"Guilty, Jaden? Why?" Syrus asked blinking at Jaden.
"Well, Dr. Crowler mentioned it was because I beat Chazz that he had his duel with Bastion and if he left because of that... I kind of feel responsible." Jaden admitted before getting up. "Ok, maybe he hasn't left yet and we can still find him."
"Uh Jaden they said he packed last night so he probably left by now." Chumley pointed out that it's probably too late at this point by what those guys said.
"We can at least try and take a look around." Jaden pointed out to him. "We won't know for sure unless we look. You get it right Syrus?"
"Oh yeah." Syrus nodded standing up as they walked off.
"You guys wait!" Chumley called raising an arm before he then groaned. "Don't they know, it's a good thing he left?" He ran to follow them.
Meanwhile with Alexis, Jasmine, and Mindy...
"Do you think it's true Alexis?" Mindy asked. "About Chazz?"
They were walking together outside, and were discussing things about what had happened involving Chazz. Alexis in her honest opinion while frowning did expect for Chazz to get so frustrated that he just up, and left like he did just now. Although she understands why, it doesn't make her feel better. "Honestly... yeah I think it is that he would leave like that. Being confronted by the truth, and losing to a Ra Yellow after being beaten by a Slifer before then... that's gotta sting."
"If you ask me he was just being a sore loser." Jasmine pointed out. "Yeah he lost a few times but Seto Kaiba himself let him enroll and gave him special new cards... and as for Bastion he's the best freshman hands down... it's not like he lost to that blue-haired Slifer who spied on us."
"That wasn't intentional though Jazz." Alexis reminded her with a frown.
"I know, but I more meant that he's not a great duelist so if he beat Chazz that's one thing... but that Jaden Yuki is an exception and clearly has something Seto Kaiba noticed... losing to him shouldn't count as losing to a Slifer." Jasmine pointed out only to blink as they saw Jaden and Syrus running up along with Chumley behind them.
"What are they doing?" Mindy wondered before Alexis starts following them, "Alexis!" She, and Jasmine proceeded to follow.
Hearing their voices Jaden stopped and turned. "Alexis, what are you three doing?"
"We're the ones who should be asking you that." she pointed out before frowning. "It has to do with Chazz doesn't it?"
"Yeah we heard he is leaving the Academy. So we are looking for him." Jaden answered.
"Do you really think he hasn't left already?" Mindy asked him.
"We still got to try looking at least." Was her answer.
"You're right, let's keep moving." Alexis nodded.
That decided they all ran into the forest looking around while calling for Chazz. They been doing this for several minutes, and aren't having any luck, but Jaden doesn't want to call it quits, determined to find him wherever he is. So they walked around the forest to try finding Chazz but eventually at one path a bush nearby started to shake.
"Huh, Chazz?" Jaden asked approaching the bush.
Something popped out jumping onto them making them all scream in a smokecloud around for several seconds ending with them looking a little roughed up.
"What... what was that?" Syrus blinked.
"I have no..." Chumley started before they heard a loud scream.
They all looked above seeing a monkey wearing some mechanical armor jumped over a window as they noticed he has Jasmine. Alexis, and Mindy widen there eyes. "Jasmine!" They get up to quickly gave chase.
"Hey, wait for us!" Jaden called already running behind them to catch up.
"Oh man, more running." Chumley groaned as he and Syrus followed behind
So they all quickly ran out heading out to follow the monkey as fast as they can. During a run in the forest where they see fresh tracks of the monkey, they follow the tracks hoping that Jasmine is okay. During the run Mindy notices three people running beside them a couple of feet away which was three men, and one was holding a Tranquilizer Gun, and one short guy.
"Huh, who are you three?" she asked them.
"That's not important we need to catch that monkey!" the short man told her that they have a more important thing to do right now.
She frowned but nodded running as they eventually found the monkey holding Jasmine near a tree overlooking a cliff.
"Jasmine!" Mindy cried seeing that. "You dumb monkey, let her go!"
The monkey turned over to them as the man holding the rifle aimed over that he held Jasmine closer to him making the man stop with a grunt. "Dammit, I can't get a shot without him dropping her."
"Shot, you'd shoot that poor monkey?" Syrus gasped hearing that.
"It's nothing you kids need to concern yourselves over." the short man brush off their questions, "Wheeler's the higher priority right now."
"Wheeler?" Jaden asked hearing that before looking as he blinked. "Wait, is he wearing a Duel Disk?"
"Hey don't hurt Jasmine, let her go!" Mindy demanded over towards Wheeler.
Wheeler however shook his head. "No hurt girl, no hurt girl." A part of his helmet glowed as it spoke some words that caught some of them off-guard.
"He can talk?" Chumley asked in disbelief.
"Please it be entirely unrealistic... Wheeler here is our best test subject. A monkey learning how to duel like a pro champion, and whenever he makes a mistake he gets punished severely." the short man said with a proud smirk on his face.
"Sir..."
He blinked when he realized he was saying too much, "Oh right top secret." He turned back to Wheeler to try to find a way to get him back. Jaden's eyes widened. "Wait, you taught a monkey to duel? That's amazing."
Though internally he was angry hearing about the punishment part.
Turning to Wheeler he took a slow step forward. "Wheeler I promise I'm not going to hurt you ok?" Wheeler turned over towards him hearing that.
"My name's Jaden Yuki, and I challenge you to a duel." Jaden told him. "If I win though, you have to promise to let Jasmine go ok?"
"Duel?"
"Yeah, just a friendly match." Jaden smiled.
Wheeler looked at her before jumping down. "Duel, duel."
"Good, he's moved away from the girl I have a clear shot." the man with the Tranquilizer Gun mentioned aiming at Wheeler.
"No!" the short guy raised his arm to his guy. "This duel is the field test we've been waiting for... now we can see what he can do outside of training, let's let this play out."
Alexis frowned hearing that as Jaden got ready.
"Alright Wheeler, get your game on!" Jaden called.
Wheeler who moved activating the Duel Disk on his arm while Jaden readied over himself.
"DUEL!"

Raising was a red furred gorilla like monster having muscles, and fighter pants on appearing beating his chest hooting.

Jaden's eyes widened in shock seeing that card. Alexis gasped seeing it herself. "Wild Nature's Release!? That card will rise Ape Fighter's attack points by it's defense points!" Like she said Ape Fighter powered up screeching loud as it's muscles grew bulging with visible veins all over it's body.

"Now that thing's stronger than Jaden's Rampart Blaster!" Chumley panicked.
"Rampart Blaster's in Defense Position though, so Jaden's safe." Syrus voiced over towards him.
Wheeler then called over. "Battle! Ape Fighter attacks!" Ape Fighter howled charging in like a feral animal at Rampart Blaster who braced herself against Ape Fighter.
"Sorry Wheeler, I use the trap Hero Barrier!" Jaden countered.

Ape Fighter punched over striking a barrier that didn't hit Rampart Blaster shielding her from the attack. Suddenly as Wheeler's turn ended Ape Fighter started screeching painfully grabbing it's head like it's being torn apart before shattering.
"That sounded painful." Chumley frowned.
"Useless monkey, we'll have to redouble his training and increase the punishments for failure." the short scientist frowned.
"Activate effect, activate effect! Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest!" Wheeler however called as he revealed a card in his hand. "When Beast destroyed, and go to graveyard, pay 1000 LP summon from hand!" Emerging was a large baboon that's green armored with a large wooden club howling. (Wheeler: 2000/Hand: 3)

Rampart Blaster aimed over blasting again at Wheeler who howled over once more. (Wheeler: 1000/Hand: 2) Jaden frowned before turning to the scientists. "What exactly did you people do to him?"
"Believe me, it's all part of his training. You see back at the lab if he'd made a mistake twice he would be harshly punished. We poked, and prod him that way for years! No, he won't give up. He'd just get better!" the short guy explained over smirking over.
"Sir."
"Right secret, forget I said anything."
Jaden's eyes widened. "Wheeler, is that true?"
Wheeler nodded over from it. "Want home, want home!"
"The poor guy just wants to back to his friends." Syrus frowned.
"Well of course he should get to go home." Mindy pointed out before frowning. "Wheeler, can you let Jasmine go, please?"
"No. Girl go free, Wheeler go no free." Wheeler refused.
"You will, I promise." Jaden told him as he looked at Wheeler. "I swear you'll be free Wheeler. You have my word."
"Duel." Wheeler told him as if saying to continue the duel.
Jaden frowned but nodded. "Your turn."

"Just attacked with Rampart Blaster? Why didn't he do anything else?" Chumley wondered why attacking with Rampart Blaster was Jaden's only move this turn.
"I don't know, maybe he feels bad for Wheeler?" Mindy guessed.

He checks over to see what options he has.
Noticing something he smiles. "I play Pot of Greed, and hopefully I draw something good."

"I set one card, and summon Winged Kuriboh in attack position!" The Kuriboh that Yugi gave him rose up wooing.

It evolved into a large dragon monster with feathered wings.
"When did Jaden get that?" Syrus asked shocked seeing the monster.
"I'l tell you later Sy, I use Winged Kuriboh's ability, by sacrificing him, I destroy all of Wheeler's monsters in attack position and deal damage equal to their total attack points!" Jaden revealed.
It charged a large light blasting destroying Green Baboon as Wheeler screeched loud collapsing on the ground.

At Wheeler being beat, Jasmine sees her chance, and ran pass him towards her friends. Mindy embraced her as Jaden walked over to Wheeler.
"Sweet duel Wheeler."
"Alright you flea-ridden failure let's go." the short man walked disappointment in his tone over towards Wheeler intending to take him back to the lab, double the security, and punish him severely for escaping, and losing.
"Hold it, he's not going anywhere." Alexis frowned as the five of them joined Jaden in defending Wheeler.
"Step aside." the scientist told them as the man with the Tranquilizer Gun pushed past and threw a net over Wheeler before turning towards the rest of the monkey's who had been spectating and aimed the Tranquilizer Gun at them.
"Don't fret Wheeler won't be alone. No, his friends will join him on my experiments." he smirked over towards them at this.
Seeing that Jaden's eyes widened as he tried to jump at the man only for a cat to jump on his face instead.
"Ah!" the man held his face dropping the gun surprising them as the cat walked to someone.
"Tsk, tsk Pharaoh, naughty kitty." Professor Banner was there picking up the cat which is Pharaoh.
"Professor Banner, what are you doing here?" Syrus asked seeing him.
"Oh you know, just an animal lover, and happened to follow some suspicious tracks." Professor Banner said smiling. "And I have some backup." Kaiba stepped out from behind him.
"Seto Kaiba!?" Jaden gasped. "I was going to call you about these guys."
"Your teacher already done that." Kaiba spoke before he turned to the scientists. "I'll deal with them, get that suit off that monkey so it doesn't take Wheeler's title as a dueling monkey."
"Right." Jaden nodded helping Wheeler with the equipment.
"What do you think you're doing, this was highly critical research." the short scientist frowned.
"Illegal research in the premise of MY island." Kaiba glared walking over before then offering. "But if you like to continue, why don't you duel me for it? Lose, and the cops will be on you. That agreeable?"
"Fine, I've done plenty of research into dueling... and my cards are designed to defeat any opponent." the scientist smirked. "The equipment from Industrial Illusions will come in handy."
Three minutes later...
"Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, Neutron Blast!" Kaiba called. The large dragon blasted off whatever weak monster the scientist had as he yelled out losing the match instantly over. Kaiba then closed his eyes. "Pathetic, not worth my time. Banner you can call the cops now."
While Banner does that Jasmine was hugging Jaden before she kissed his cheek.
"Huh?" he blinked at the kiss. "What was that for?"
"For saving me, and Wheeler." Jasmine smiled to him. "Seriously, you deserve that one. Though I think Lex wants to give you a more special one."
Jaden blushed at that but slowly nodded. "Well, you're my friend... so I wanted to help and I couldn't let them hurt Wheeler."
"Of course Jaden." Alexis smiled kissing at his lips which takes everyone else by surprise. She ignored it turning towards Wheeler who has the equipment off him. "So Wheeler what are you gonna do now?"
Wheeler hooted over before he went over to his family, and friends before waving bye leaving.
"Well, I'm glad that all ended well." Syrus smiled.
"Yeah." Chumley nodded over.
"The cops will find there research facility, and end what there doing." Kaiba spoke towards them as they turned to him when he stopped in front of them. "Banner already gave me the story, you told him, unfortunately Chazz isn't anywhere on the island."
Jaden frowned hearing that. "I... I had a bad feeling but I didn't want it to be true... it's all my fault he left."
"Don't blame yourself Jaden. He will be back, I can tell but stronger." Kaiba stated to him. "Be ready for him."
Jaden nodded as Mindy paused.
"Excuse me, Mr. Kaiba sir?" she asked him.
"Hm?" Kaiba turned to her.
"It's just... when Jaden failed the Entrance Exam, why did you give him another chance over everyone else who failed?" Mindy asked.
"Now that be a good question..." Kaiba closed his eyes. He then looked at Jaden. "I had sense that he had potential. Despite not getting Winged Kuriboh's effect right, I notice that he has skill to be a master duelist. I also had similar experiences where I failed but I won't let it stop me. And it shouldn't stop him either."
She nodded at that.
"Now get back to the Academy, and leave this to the grown-ups." Kaiba spoke as they all nodded turning to walk back. He turned walking to Banner as a police helicopter is approaching the island.

bopdog111: They weren't able to find Chazz though.
Ulrich362: No they weren't. Where could he be?
bopdog111: Maybe we will find out soon enough. Is the Harrington Duel next, cause no, we're not doing prettyboys.
Ulrich362: It is... but we have something... interesting(?) planned for the next chapter.
