"Okay- I want to make sure I have this straight," Kim said as Billy stood at the end of her bed and she clutched Tommy's hand. She wanted to have this surgery done, but she was not looking forward to the potential regression with her progress. She finally felt like she was actually getting back to some semblance of normal in the last few days. Tommy had been her rock through all of this, but she knew he was barely treading water most days. She wanted to take things off of him and any regression would not allow that. "You're going to put me under, open up where my scar is and then put my own bone back over that spot and screw it to the stable parts of my skull?"

"Yes, with how you're doing now it should be a fairly routine procedure, but it is still brain surgery and there are inherent risks with that. I will have to shave down the side of your head again, but so long as this goes well- this should be the last time we have to do any of that," Billy explained as she nodded and he watched something pass between her and Tommy. "Do you need a few more minutes?"

"No, I'm never going to be really ready for this. Just don't fuck me up, okay?" Kim said as Tommy let out a laugh and Billy shook his head.

"I'll do my best to not fuck you up," Billy said as he gave Tommy a meaningful look and he leaned over to give Kim a quick kiss. He knew that it was time to go and he wanted this to be over just as badly as Kimberly did. "I'll come find you as soon as we're done- it should be a couple of hours- max."

"Love you."

"Love you too."

Hayley disabled her nurses easily and changed into a set of scrubs. They had given her access to a computer a few weeks ago to 'help her connect to her former self'- whatever that meant. She had used the access to hack her way into hospital records and found out that Kimberly had surgery scheduled, today. She knew what she needed to do to get to her and she had to move quickly. They were due to do rounds on her in about twenty minutes and she needed to be in the surgical bay before then. She could not get caught before she accomplished her mission.

She calmly walked out of the psyche ward, using the nurses id badge and started making her way towards the O.R. She had been careful to pick a nurse that had credentials to get into multiple areas, but she hadn't had the time to thoroughly examine what the codes for the areas meant. She just knew that it could get her to more places without question.

She rode up several floors, having memorized the schematic of the hospital. She knew where she was headed and she knew because of her new access that Kimberly was in O.R. bay 4 and none of the doctors were going to be strong enough to stop her now. Not even Billy.

"Dr. Cranston- you just got an odd text," the nurse said as Billy looked over at her and motioned for her to go on. "All it says is 9-1-1 Hayley."

"Fuck," Billy muttered and he could feel the surprise of all of his staff. They had no idea the danger they were about to be in, but he knew what was likely coming and he also knew how dangerous it was for all of them, not just Kimberly. "Okay- here's what we're going to do. The two of you- on the doors. Amber- find Tommy Oliver in my phone and text him suit up- O.R. 4. And just so everyone is clear- no one gets in here."

"Why would…what's going on?" Amber asked as she quickly texted the man he requested and the others in the O.R. moved to do what he said as she walked back to his side. "Dr. Cranston."

"I can't explain, but we need to move fast. We've done all that we can right now and we just need to see if we're going to have back up or not," Billy said as Amber started passing him the instruments he needed. "C'mon Tommy, message me back."

"I won't repeat what he said, but sounds like he'll do whatever it was you just asked," Amber said as Billy let out a sigh of relief and continued about his work. A clatter hit one of the O.R. doors and Billy looked up to see an unmasked Hayley standing there- demanding entrance.

"Dr. Cranston…" Will started as Billy saw that she had picked up a fire extinguisher to use as a battering ram. "The door isn't going to…"

"You just have to buy him time," Billy said as he focused on his work and saw other hospital staff had turned up to try to generally restrain Hayley, but she was taking them out effortlessly. As far as he was aware, Hayley had never had any combat training, but that must have been something she picked up over her disappearance. A brilliant white light flashed outside of the O.R. and he heard the gasps and screams at what must have been Tommy arriving in his morphed form. He knew just how terrifying Tommy could look, especially when no one expected it and he was also sure that Tommy was doing everything for shock value at the moment.

"What the hell was that?" Amber screamed as Billy looked over his shoulder to see that Hayley had disappeared. "Dr. Cranston?"

"That's her security team and this is the consequence of fucking around, sometimes you find out," Billy said as everyone in the O.R. froze and he motioned to his cell phone. "Can you find Jason Scott in my phone and call him?"

"What's going to happen after that phone call?" Amber asked as Billy shook his head. "Dr. Cranston!"

"Don't know, but Jason is the best bet at this ending well," Billy said as Amber dialed the number and put the phone to his ear. "Jason- shut up and listen to me. I need someone here as an extra guard, you need to track…crayon box down, and well…your choice from there."

"Crayon box…Tommy? That's the code name you came up with?" Jason asked as he started throwing on clothes and grabbing his communicator. They had all felt confident that this was going to be a low threat day, otherwise he would have been in Reefside already. "You know what- nevermind. I'll do what I can."

"Thank you," Billy said as Amber ended the call and he looked around at the rest of the staff. "We still have a job to finish and I don't want to keep her under any longer than we have to. The biggest threat is gone and back up is coming."

"Who is she?" Will asked as Billy forced himself to keep his face neutral. Will walked over to the chart and started re-reading the information. "Kimberly Oliver? Didn't you just say…before…"

"Will- I will explain once we have this finished and she is in recovery. Okay- everyone hands down take a step away," Billy said as they looked at him like he was crazy and he walked over to the door and took a deep breath. "We are here for a cranioplasty on a 35 year old female after a traumatic brain injury six weeks ago. What do we need to look out for?"

"Apparently homicidal maniacs and a power ranger security squad," Amber said as Billy looked at her and she let out a sigh. "Fine- we'll reset. But I think I speak for all of us when I say what the fuck was that."
