Tommy walked back into the waiting room and Ollie took in his father's appearance. His hair was frizzy, his shirt half tucked in, and one of his shoes was untied. He must have morphed. This is what he always looked like after he morphed. He dropped down in the chair next to him and pulled his hair out of the ponytail, hastily shaking it out. Ollie reached over and grabbed his dad's hand and Tommy gave it a firm squeeze as he lifted both of their hands and he leaned forward to rest his elbows on his knees and his chin on top of their hands. Ollie knew that something had happened and whatever it was weighed heavily on Tommy.

"Dad, everything okay?" Ollie asked and Tommy looked up at him and just nodded as he gave him a forced smile. This was his dad, trying to still protect him from whatever was happening in the world. Hayley had ruined some of his ability to do that now, but he appreciated that he was still trying. "You sure?"

"Yeah," Tommy lied as Ollie gave him a look and Tommy just shook his head. "Not here, we can talk about it later. I promise."

"Mr. Oliver? If you'll follow me," Amber said as Tommy and Ollie stood up and Tommy saw the recognition, but one glance at the teen quieted her. "She did great and we were able to replace the bone, you can expect some swelling over the next few days and she may be a little woozy as her body gets used to having her skull in place again. She's just starting to come around, but I'd expect her to be in and out a lot over the next few hours. Once she wakes up, we'll have an idea of how long she'll need to stay and of any potential complications."

"Thanks," Tommy said as they stood outside of the hospital room and he looked over at Ollie. When Ollie had asked to come today, they had both thought it was a great idea. After everything that happened with Hayley today, he wasn't so sure that this was where Ollie needed to be. "Mom says some weird things when she's coming out of anesthesia, just so you know."

"Like things I don't repeat?" Ollie asked and Tommy laughed as he just nodded. The last time she had woken up from surgery, she had been extremely flirty and he hoped that wouldn't repeat today. It was one thing for their kids to see them kiss every now and then, it was another thing when it moved to much more sexual.

"To…Tommy?" Kim whispered as Tommy moved over to her good side and sat down in the chair that had been placed next to her. He watched as she squinted at him and barely shook her head. "You're not Tommy. You're old."

"Old? How old do you think I am?" Tommy asked as he placed his hands on the rail and saw her scanning the room and she relaxed when she saw Ollie.

"Tommy- when did you cut your hair?" Kim asked as Ollie glanced between the two of them and Tommy motioned for him to go along with it. Hopefully this was just the anesthesia wearing off and she'd be back in this decade soon. "Why are you even here? Don't you hate me?"

"No. Dad…I could never hate you," Ollie played along as he watched her relax and then she dozed back off. "I can't pretend to be you."

"She's going to come around two or three times before she is awake, awake. Hopefully she'll move back to current times as she comes around," Tommy muttered as he took her hand and he let out a groan when she jerked it away.

"And if she doesn't?" Ollie asked and he saw the defeat in his dad's eyes. "Dad?"

"I don't know, Ol. With how this injury is, there's a lot that is unpredictable and a lot that changes from day to day," Tommy explained and Ollie sat down across from him. "You don't have to stay. You can go home any time you want."

"I want to stay…I…I want to help," Ollie whispered as he took her hand and she didn't pull away from him. "We both know…"

"Stop, right there. Put the blame on the person who spent years manipulating your DNA and planting all of that in you," Tommy said as Ollie locked eyes with him and Tommy's face softened. "You will drive yourself crazy taking on all the blame for what you did or could have done. Hayley is the only person to blame for this."

"I hate when you're right like this," Ollie muttered as he gave him a weak smile. "I'm still going to feel guilty though."

"I know and that's not going to change overnight. If you catch me on a bad day…I've apologized to Jason so many times for almost killing him. Your mom and I…we never dealt with this the way we should have and I hate that you're dealing with it at all," Tommy said as Ollie nodded and Tommy let the silence fall between them. He could push it, but he knew that Ollie was here because he needed to see that Kim was going to be okay. He needed to know that his mom was going to come back to them like she had been before.

"She still confusing Ollie for you?" Billy asked as Tommy let out a long sigh. Ollie had run to go get himself some lunch and he had watched the confusion in Kim's eyes show up every time she was awake. "That would be a yes."

"Normally by now she's come out of whatever anesthesia dream she was in, but she's not this time," Tommy whispered and Billy settled down across from him. "She thinks I would hate her, so she must be somewhere around 17, 18 in her mind. She hasn't talked about being pregnant, so I don't know if it's post Ollie being born or what."

"I'm going to hang out for a bit. See how she reacts to me," Billy said as Tommy nodded and had to force back the pain he felt. He was terrified at what this would mean for the rest of their children. If she had lost eighteen years, how were they going to trip those memories? "This shouldn't have done anything to her memory. If she had woken up like this after the initial injury, I'd get it- but at that point it was all short term memories which makes sense. I'm sorry, Tommy."

"I need her, Billy. I need my wife and the mother of my children just to remember me. She doesn't have to be back to normal. I'm okay if normal completely changes for us. I'm okay if it's time for me to step in and do every single thing that she has taken off my plate for all of these years. I'm not okay if she never…" Tommy trailed off as a sob forced its way out of him and he leaned against the railing as he was no longer able to force it back. Sure, they had banished Hayley to a jail where she would live out the rest of her days, surrounded by the best security in the universe, but none of that mattered if he lost her. If he lost her, Hayley won and he couldn't stand the thought of Hayley winning in this way.

"Did you get any sleep last night? Did you eat anything today?" Billy asked as Tommy just shook his head and Billy tapped out a text to Katherine. Normally, he'd call in Jason, but he was working with Andros to make sure everything was locked down the way that it should be. "Okay, here's what we're going to do. You are going to go take a nap in my office and Kat is going to drop off something for you to eat. I'm going to get her an MRI and see if anything changed during surgery that we weren't anticipating and we'll go from there."

"Ollie…" Tommy started as Billy gave him a look. "You're going to wait until he gets back to move her."

"Yeah. You know where my office is, go get some rest Tommy. We'll keep her safe and I'll do what I can to figure out what's going on and what plan we can make to help," Billy said as he pulled Tommy to his feet. He hated seeing the defeated look in Tommy's eyes and he hoped that it was just because of how exhausted he was. "Tommy- we'll figure this out."

"Okay," Tommy whispered and Billy walked him towards the door and was met with one of his staff.

"If you can take him to my office to get some rest," Billy said and Amber nodded as she gently placed a hand on Tommy's back and guided him away. Billy closed the door to the room and wracked his brain of what could be causing this, but nothing really made sense. "C'mon, Kimmie. He needs you. We all need you."

"Where's Dad?" Ollie asked as he walked in with a couple of sandwiches and an extra large coffee. "Billy."

"I sent him to get some sleep and Kat is going to drop some food off with him in a bit," Billy explained as Ollie let out a sigh. He had known that his dad was taking this bad, but Billy would only send him away if this had broken him. "Yeah, she woke up and didn't recognize him again and your dad didn't sleep last night, so I'm hoping that a nap and some food will help him be able to handle this."

"What about Mom?" Ollie asked as Kim blinked her eyes open and smiled at him. "Mom?"

"Why would you call me 'mom', Tommy?" Kim asked and she looked over at the other man in the room. "Mr. Cranston- what are you doing here? Why would both of you be in Miami? Why am I at the hospital? Is…is the baby okay?"

"Mom- I'm the baby," Ollie said as he dropped into the chair next to her and she just shook her head. "I look like Tommy, but I don't look quite right, right?"

"Ol…" Billy warned as he looked at him and Ollie felt the desperation go through him. "There's nothing wrong with the baby, Kim. Humor me- how old are you?"

"Seventeen. You know that- my birthday was a few weeks ago," Kim said as she locked eyes with Ollie and he just shook his head. She had had him when she was 17. "My birthday wasn't a few weeks ago? Is that why my head feels funny?"

"Mom, please…" Ollie started as the tears came and Billy quickly wrapped him up in a hug. "I don't want to lose her…I…I want my mom back."

"I know, I know. We're going to do everything we can to figure out why this is happening. Do you want me to call Janice to come get you?" Billy asked and Ollie just nodded against his shoulder as he clung to him. "Okay- I'll get your grandma here. I've got a time slot for her in the MRI soon, so if you want to wait here- I'll have her meet you here."

"Thank you," Ollie whispered and Billy just nodded as he took a step back and he cupped Ollie's face. "I…"

"I know. We've all been there, Ol. Just hang out here- Janice said she's loading up the littles and will be here in ten," Billy said as he read off the message and was so glad that they had warned Janice that if things went sideways they might need her. This wasn't the way that he had imagined calling her in, but it was what it needed to be right now.

"Janice is coming? Here?" Kim blurted out and Billy nodded. "No. No she can't. After what I did to Tommy, she has to hate me."

"Well, lucky for you, we're going to go do a couple of tests and Janice won't be able to come in for those," Billy said as he made sure Ollie was okay and he then turned to face her. He plastered on a smile and decided to go along with her thinking that she was his dad. It wasn't perfect and his dad had never been an MD, but Kimberly didn't remember that right now. "Catch me up on everything in your life."
