Chapter 1

While Senji slept peacefully, more than half an hour had passed where Marikawa-sensei managed to reach the road where there was a queue of traffic.

They did not manage to advance further to reach the right place to protect the citizens from the danger of the undead.

"At this rate we will never reach the right place to be safe." Alicia spoke to her seatmate who was Takagi, where she nodded.

"The best thing to do would be to walk, should we leave the bus and them to their fate?"

Takagi subtly pointed to the group behind.

"It's the safest thing to do." Takashi began to speak with a serious look. "A populated area like this will only be counterproductive if we want to survive."

"Even if we entrust our safety to the police who are doing all the work of guiding us calmly so that no one despairs, no one can be sure what can happen when 'they' are invading this place... if they raised fires... we would only be condemned..."

A small imaginary scenario appeared in their minds. Where they raised fires to stop the undead invading this part of the city where stray bullets will be the most common thing where any civilian who wants to escape death arrives.

"A catastrophe would be that..."

"Are we determined to continue to move forward on our own?" Saeko as the senior spoke to confirm if everyone was in the same boat.

Everyone nodded with a determined look.

"I'll go wake up my dad." Alicia carefully moved from her seat to walk to her father's seat where she was sleeping with problems, she was sweating all over her face as if something bad was happening to her.

{Senji}

Two dark silhouettes were seen in Senji's sight, where it could be seen that they were two women who came from below who carried their hands like snakes where they captured Senji's torso so as not to let him escape.

Senji began to move his body trying to escape from them, but he was unable to do so.

"Ugh... this kind of nightmare again."

Although I thought he moved his body, the truth was different. He could never move his body, but his mind played with it as if it were really moving.

The hands reached his neck as well as their "faces" approached him.

Where she saw the dark lips approaching his lips.

"Dad, are you okay?"

Senji looked at his daughter in confusion. The nightmare he had had vanished before the lips of the dark silhouette kissed him.

"… Yes, or it was created."

Senji brought his hands to his face where he saw that he was sweating.

"Did something happen?"

He decided not to think about his nightmare as it was the reason for having sweated and to ask why it had woken him up, although it was good for him.

"… Okay." Alicia decided not to delve into her father's reason. "We've decided we're going to leave and let the bus stay for them."

Senji understood perfectly what he meant.

"So they decided to quit and survive on their own..." Senji looked at his daughter. "Looking at how they've acted so far, there's a better chance of surviving on their own."

Remembering how some teenagers managed to face the living dead even with fear, they moved forward implying that they have a strong will.

"Mmm... there are many people." Senji looked out the window as people walked and the traffic was at a standstill, there was no way to move forward fast. Their lives were in danger if the undead reached this part of the city.

"I guess this is the reason why they decided that."

"The way all the cars are going, there's no way to get out of here." I hear your daughter say that.

Although Senji heard everything and looked sideways at the others in the group that entered with his daughter, his body was uncomfortable as well as the chill he felt on his spine. Although he didn't want to think about the nightmare he had, his mind still tormented him.

He decided to take out a cigarette and the lighter from his pants pocket to start smoking and thus calm his mind.

"Have you decided where you're going?" Senji asked which was answered by Saeko who was walking where he was with the rest of the group following her.

"We will cross the Onbetsu Bridge, even if it will take us longer to reach the Hisashi Police Station."

"I'd like to go with you." Marikawa-sensei spoke while still at the wheel.

He seemed to like being with the group of students.

"Are you sure?" Takagi asked him curious as to why Marikawa wanted with them.

"I don't have family, and my relatives live far away... I don't like to ask you this, but... Shidou-sensei doesn't like him at all." Marikawa replied as he looked to the side.

"No one likes that master named Shidou."

"They saw the trash of a person that he is."

Senji answered the whisper he heard from his daughter of how Shidou-sensei didn't like them.

"While Dad was sleeping, I realized that."

Alicia looked at her father with a blank stare.

Senji decided not to answer.

"What is wrong with you? We were supposed to work together..."

Shidou-sensei had approached them while subtly claiming.

"It's a little awkward to tell you this Shidou-sensei, but we have our own goals. This is not a school trip, so we have no obligation to partner with you." Takagi replied with a smile to Shidou-sensei, openly showing that he did not wish to group with him.

"Hmm..." Shidou had a serious countenance, not allowing them to leave easily. "I can see that you have already made your decision, so do what seems best to you, Takagi-san. After all, Japan is a free country!"

Shidou brought his hands to the front of his nose with a smile that no one in the group of protagonists ended up liking.

"But..." Shidou using his tongue licked his lips unpleasantly. "Marikawa-sensei is in a dilemma! We can't afford to lose our nurse, she's going to stay, isn't she? There are poor students here who need you if you stay, Marikawa-sensei I'm sure Takagi-san and the others will too, we really count on you..."

Faash!

"AH!"
! Clak!

A nail had flown fast where it made a small cut on Shidou-sensei's cheek where it ended up digging into a seat where it scared the student with dark circles.

"Hi-Hirano-kun...?" Shidou brought his hand to his recent wound as he began to tremble in fear, if the nail had gone to his head he was sure to die.

"He didn't want to fail, he just got lucky." Hirano's hatred seeped into his voice. "It's not common for you to hang out with this kind of students... Do you know how many people beat me up at school?!" Hirano recounted the bullying he received. "Most of them are in front of you, and don't even think about saying that I deserved it! I restrained myself! I always put up with it! I wanted a normal life, that's why I always put up with it! But normality no longer exists! The concept of normality is dead!", That's why I... "I'm going to kill you! You may be alive now, but I'm going to kill you."

Hirano had a look that said he was serious, with what he said, he even firmly grasped the nail gun he had in his hands to guide the weapon to Shidou-sensei.

"H-Hi-Hirano-kun... N-Aren't you exaggerating a little...?" Shidou-sensei began to fear for his life, at any moment Hirano could fire the nail gun and end his life.

"Busujima-senpai, we got off the bus, take the lead! I'll take care of the rear!"

"You are quite a Hirano-kun man." Saeko showed a beautiful smile seeing the determination and development he is having now without trying to hide from who he is.

They ended up getting out of the bus where Senji stood at the door for a few seconds, staring with empty eyes at the group that would be traveling from now on with Shidou-sensei.

"They'll just end up suffering, following that guy."

Senji was just thinking, showing no real concern for those teenagers who follow Shidou-sensei. To him, they are of no importance, except for his daughter.

He closed the door of the bus and then listened to what the group of teenagers who follow him with his daughter were saying.

"And what should we do? I don't know this area very well." Saeko asked.

"First, we need to see if the Onbetsu Bridge is open to passage." Takagi replied.

"It will probably be blocked, this amount of traffic is not normal for this area." Hirano pointed out.

"…" Shidou-sensei watched from the window as he wiped the blood that came out of his wound with a handkerchief.

"Sensei?" The short-haired girl asked worried about the situation.

"Well! We finally got rid of those parasites." Shidou-sensei changed his face hiding his bitterness inside.

The students who followed Shidou-sensei looked at their sensei's smiling face trusting him.

{Half an hour later}

We walked several meters to reach the Onbetsu bridge, where he looked sideways at several people who were walking along the path we left behind.

But some walked to other places, it seems that they realized that they would not save their lives if they went the road that was heavier.

Even from here, I could see how the vehicles didn't go too far. However, when they observed the arrival of more police and military to provide greater civilian protection, they realized that today they would not make much progress.

Surely tonight some will die.

"We didn't find any way across the bridge."

"Neither do we."

"And upstream?"

"They were working on building a dam, and you can't cross, and I don't think there are shallow areas upstream."

As I listened to their conversations, I didn't really care too much. I saw an abandoned motorcycle several meters away.

I'll go for her, my presence isn't important right now.

While Senji was retreating where his daughter saw him, she decided to stay, surely something caught her father's attention to leave without saying anything.

"Hey, when I was in elementary school, I used to play around, and they had drained the water." Takagi responded.

"Oh... I don't know anything about that, but it's been raining a lot lately, it may be that the water level has risen." Komuro showed his concern when he said that.

"Um..." Marikawa raised her hand to say something. "I think it would be a good idea to calm down a bit and find a place to rest."

"D-Rest?" Hirano asked confused.

"There's only an hour left until nightfall." Marikawa showed the time with the watch he held in his hand. "And if it gets dark... we can't see where we're going, and it would be very difficult for Busujima-san and Senji-san."

"That's true, but where can we stay safe until nightfall?" Takagi pointed out an important point, where they would stay to protect themselves from the night with the undead prowling around this part of the city.

"Aren't we going to be very tight?"

Saeko made a little joke to relax the atmosphere.

"Ha." A faint laugh escaped from Komuro.

"I don't think there's a place big enough for all of us to go in."

"Ah, I know a place we can use. We can walk." Marikawa was the group's salvation by having the place I mentioned.

"Is it your boyfriend's house?" An amused smile appeared on Takagi.

"N-No, nothing to do with it, it's a friend's house." Marikawa replied embarrassed while with her hands she moved them quickly from side to side, denying Takagi's question. "She's always busy with her job at the airport, so she gave me some keys to take care of the house."

"Is it an apartment? Do you have good eyesight?" Hirano was curious about Marikawa's friend's house.

"Ah, if it's a mezonet apartment, it's next to the river, it also has a mini-market nearby." Marikawa answered Hirano's question with a smile. "And he also has a car that we can use. It looks like a tank and has four doors. It's huge!" Marikawa moved her arms excitedly for the car.

"We'll have to find a way to get it out on the street." Saeko spoke while thinking about what kind of car Marikawa's friend would have.

Takagi let out a sigh. "The truth is that I am exhausted. I would like to go to a place with electricity and be able to take a bath." He brought his right hand behind his head.

"N-It's not a bad idea." Hirano said while he had his fingers on his chin looking at Takagi's big breasts.

"Fat pervert!" Takagi kicked him in the butt.

"We need a shuttle to get to Marikawa-sensei's friend's house quickly." Komuro muttered.

"You don't need to worry about that." Komuro looked at Alicia who spoke suddenly, since she had remained silent listening to all their conversations.

I was going to ask, but Alice anticipated what she was going to ask.

"Dad is bringing a motorcycle." Alicia pointed with her right thumb to the center of the street where Senji was coming with a motorcycle pushing her by the handlebars.

"Um... is something wrong?" Senji asked, seeing how they were looking at him.

"Seriously, you didn't start the bike to get there faster..." Takagi asked as he adjusted his lens.

"That would make a lot of noise, where I found the motorcycle there were already many living dead, if I started the motorcycle they would chase me here and I would end up condemning many innocent people."

"That... It was a good deed on your part." Takagi was embarrassed. He had forgotten that noise attracted zombies. It's like Senji had said, if he had arrived with the bike on he would have attracted the danger of what they were escaping in the first place.

"Have boy." Senji handed the motorcycle to Komuro.

"Why?" Komuro was confused.

"I haven't really ridden a motorcycle in my life, I guess you have... right?"

Senji had no idea if Komuro has ever ridden a motorcycle in his life, so he asked with a slip of uncertainty.

"Heh." Komuro laughed slightly. "If I have driven a motorcycle illegally, thank you very much for getting it. Shizuka-sensei, sit back."

Komuro settled into the bike while calling Marikawa, who ended up sitting in the back seat and leaning against Komuro's back, which ended up embarrassing him.

"Sensei and I will go ahead to check the place, Busujima-senpai."

"Got it." Saeko replied.

Komuro left.

"Mmm..." Marikawa hummed. "This is very comfortable!" He ended up crushing her big breasts on Komuro's back.

"Sensei, you don't need to hold on so tight..." Komuro replied blushing on his face.

"What? Did you say anything? I can't hear you." Marikawa was enjoying the motorcycle ride.

I end up spending the minutes where Komuro had arrived in the neighborhood on the other side of the bridge.

"We're here, it's this one here." Marikawa warned Komuro.

"Wow..." Komuro was surprised by the vehicle that was at the entrance of the large house.

"Isn't it true that it looks like a tank?" A funny smile appeared on Marikawa's face.

They began to rest, after several minutes the others arrived.

Marikawa raised her arm waving it to point to the other group where she was.

Saeko noticed Marikawa waving her arm.

"There they are." Saeko warned the group.

"A Humvee." Hirano was surprised with the mouth of the vehicle he saw.

Takagi was also surprised by the vehicle. "What kind of friends does she have...?" Takagi asked curiously.

"'They' won't be able to go over the bars, so we'll be able to sleep peacefully." Miyamoto was happy.

"Hmm, there are zombies in this house..." Senji looked at the back house where zombies were coming out of the windows as well as through the door.

"They get closer." Alicia watched as a group of zombies began to surround them.

"You guys come in, I'd like to 'have fun' a little." Senji grabbed the bat he still had from the time Komuro gave him.

"I can't let you take all the fun." Saeko walked over to Senji's side while holding his bokken firmly.

"I'm sorry Senji-san, but I'd like to go. I can't let someone always protect me." Komuro held a steel bar in his hands as he rolled up his school jacket.

Alicia's footsteps were also heard approaching her father's side.

"Like me, we all need to change for the better."

A radiant smile from Alicia was directed at Senji, the words she said brought back a memory of the past.

"It's time to change, don't you think so... Senji Muramasa."

That name.

A name that is still important to him, even if he has abandoned it because he was no longer the same as in the past. The distant memory of a blacksmith with a desire to forge the ultimate sword that had managed to fulfill his goal, though it was very short of having used that katana, but still had, fulfilling that wish of yesteryear when he was still alive in the Muromachi era.

Even in this new life there followed that shadow of forging returned with his own hands [Tsumukari Muramasa], where it was only kept and gathering dust because there was no value in using it for several centuries.

Now he has only one goal in mind.

Die.

Although it would be easy if he took his own life, but that was not what he was looking for.

As Azi Dahaka said when she barely met him. He was looking for a [Hero] who has the determination to kill him and not be easily broken by the actions that the three-headed dragon would do.

A goal that wasn't even his ended up enchanting him and he also wanted to look for someone who could kill him.

But unfortunately that [Hero] who could end his empty life had not yet appeared.

"I am already 1000 years old, Jesus. Change... I think it's too late for that."

"Haha." A soft laugh was heard from the white-robed man. "It's never too late, Senji Muramasa. The important thing is that you have the determination to want to change. If you get stuck in the past, you'll never be able to take that step into the future. Tell me, Senji, how are you going to change if you don't dare to take that crucial step?"

"Mm... one step..." Senji retreated, his back to the robed man.

"I see." The robed man saw the alignment of the stars which had a small change, especially the cosmology of the Oni which represented Senji Muramsa known as King Oni Sengo. The robed man's eyes flashed. "What you're going to do is already a big change."

From that day on, the people who feared for their lives when they saw the [Demon Lord] roaming their locality stopped fearing him and it was like that for the next 100 years that Senji Muramasa did not commit genocide.

Giving the people of Little Garden peace and quiet in their lives.

Senji sighed. "So a change."

Senji took it well, even letting Alicia fight by his side for safety, that way he did not neglect his daughter from any danger that she could not see as they attacked them from behind by the zombies.

And here was the first night that they truly welcomed the end of this new world.

Question:

I have no idea if I left the father of the girl named Alice alive, I had forgotten that that pink haired girl was called that.

If he left him alive, surely the father and the girl would travel with the protagonists.

I was thinking that Senji and Alicia would leave the group after they save the girl, so I asked for Senji to save the father with the girl and then they would leave the group and then meet again at Takagi's house, well, I say that now and I may write something else at the end.

Now I say goodbye, they take care of themselves.
