Holly had gone back across the hall, needing to get her mind to calm down. Being that close to Robert, touching him, kissing his forehead. She was an absolute mess. She took her robe off and sat down on the chair, turning a small TV on. "Rebecca" was on, of course it would be.
Suddenly she heard a knock and Robert walked into the empty penthouse.
"Robert, are you...?" Holly started.
Robert cut Holly off with a deep, passionate kiss. Everything he had been holding back. His arms held his wife close to him as he looked into her eyes. "No words."
Holly's big brown eyes looked into his, and she nodded. They had been fighting this, but not anymore. Holly untied his robe and pushed it off, giving him a kiss.
Robert made quick work of her nightgown, tossing it over to the side as he kissed every single inch of her chest, spending plenty of time on her breasts. He could not get enough of this body he had missed so much over the years.
Holly was in heaven. She had dreamt of this but would never pursue it. She wanted Robert to be happy. She made quick work of Robert's pajamas, too. Her hands ran through his chest hair.
Robert gasped at her touch, leaning in and giving her a deep kiss. He lifted her up against the wall as he looked into her eyes, wanting to make sure she was really okay with this.
Holly leaned in and gave him a passionate kiss. She wanted him so bad.
Robert slid into her, feeling so completely at home, he hadn't felt this way since 1987.
His lips barely left hers as the two of them moved in a perfect rhythm. Shutting the rest of the world out and feeling at home finally.
The two eventually found themselves laying on the floor, a blanket over them.
"Holly, are you okay? Robert whispered.
Holly remembered their first time, him asking the same question. She nodded and smiled. "Better than I have been in a long time. Promise you will hold me tonight?"
Robert nodded and kissed her head, he wrapped his arms around her as the two drifted off to sleep as if they were the only two people in the world.
