May 6th 1998
Robert had Holly's ring. He kept it put up, he actually had it in a safety deposit box in Switzerland. It was under an alias. He had planned on giving it back to her when he got back if all went well. He was tempted to give it to her before he left but he couldn't do that to her, he couldn't make it harder if he hadn't.
He looked at the ring, tracing it with his finger. In the years he had been "dead" there had been other woman. He would usually try to forget his past but it always came back, how could he ever forget the love of his life? On this day he was always alone. Always thinking of the night that him and Holly became husband and wife in every way.
He picked up his glass of whiskey and drank it. "To you, luv. Wherever you are now I hope you are happy." Robert kissed the ring.
Catherine's House
Holly had taken to spending this day with Sasha. She didn't tell her why but she needed the closest thing she had to Robert. Sasha was taking a nap. Holly looked at her laying with her wallaby, her Ralph. She spent a lot of time wishing things were different, that she could go back and come back after the coma. Maybe life would have taken a different turn. Maybe she wouldn't have Sasha though. She couldn't imagine what life would be like without her little gggl, but she also couldn't help but think of what could have been. Holly started to drift off.
Fantasy
Robert was in a suit and dance around with Sasha who kept giggling. "You know this day is very special to mummy and daddy."
Sasha nodded as she held onto her father. "I know that. That's why you are all dressed up!"
"That's why we got you into your nicest dress too." Robert told Sasha.
"All my dresses are nice, daddy." Sasha gave him a puzzle look.
Holly chuckled as she joined her family. "She has got you there. She's very fashionable."
"She takes after her beautiful mum." Robert gave Holly a kiss as Sasha giggled.
End of fantasy
Holly felt someone shaking her. "Mommy!" Sasha didn't want to waste anytime with her mom. She always loved her visits.
Holly opened her eyes and looked at Sasha, giving her a hug. "Did you have a good nap my darling?"
"Yes but I wanted to spend more time with you. Are you going to stay long?" Sasha asked Holly as she laid down with her.
"A few days at least and you know when I'm not here I'm always in your heart." Holly told her.
Sasha hugged her mother. "I know that! Nonna tells me it too."
