The Daughter of Damon Salvatore
Chapter Five
"Let's Party!" Lexi exclaimed as she, Stefan, and Jessica climbed into Stefan's car.
Jessica and Lexi had got ready for heading out to The Grille together. Jessica had spent the afternoon learning more about Lexi and just how important she had always been in her uncle Stefan's life. Lexi had told Jessica more about Stefan's reasons for drinking animal blood and how Lexi was a sober sponsor for Stefan the 'human blood-aholic'. Jessica couldn't see Stefan as the other personality Lexi was describing.
Jessica had finally become comfortable around Lexi and the two had become quick friends. Lexi helped Jessica pick out an outfit to wear to the party, after Stefan reminded both of them that Jessica was only fifteen, and Jessica felt confident – and even a little sexy – in the leather jeans, ankle boots, and lace wrap top.
Jessica normally wore baggy clothes, after 'the incident' she hated clothes that actually fitted her frame but tonight, for the first time in a VERY long time, she was feeling a little bit more daring. That old reckless streak lit through her body as she checked out her reflection and completed her smoky look make-up. She looked amazing and, as this was the first social event, she would be meeting potential friends, she was dressing to impress.
Stefan was momentarily concerned over Jessica's extremely thin frame as he resisted the urge, as her uncle, to tell her to change her top which he deemed far too inappropriate.

.
Upon reaching The Grille, the three stepped inside to the already lively party. The place was packed! Lexi headed straight to the bar with Stefan. Jessica, who had been left awkwardly on her own, just stood and looked around and noticed that most of the partygoers were likely to be her future classmates and so, she tried to take in the faces of those around her in preparation for starting school the following week.
"Hi gorgeous, you're new around here" a voice startled her out of her thoughts.
She turned to look at the dark haired, athletic looking guy who had spoken to her.
She stared at him.
"I'm Tyler Lockwood, I am Mayor Lockwood's son and therefore, it is my duty to ensure that all newcomers to the town are welcomed and made to feel at home" he winked at her.
"Hi Tyler, I'm Jessica – I'm staying with the Salvatore's" Jessica introduced herself.
Tyler nodded.
"Cute accent! British right? So, are you in town for a while then?" he asked.
"Yes, I'm from the UK and yes, I will be with the Salvatore's for the foreseeable future" she informed the handsome teen.
He grinned lazily at her.
"Come on, let's get you a drink" he suggested.
"Ok, if you're sure you can get served" she challenged.
She had partied plenty back home and was no stranger to alcohol. In fact, she was often seen as the life and soul of every party and would always be the one dancing on a table somewhere, bottle of whiskey in hand. That had all stopped once she found out her mother was sick though. There was also that dark period where…
"Challenge accepted" Tyler laughed as he walked to the bar and got served instantly.
Jessica shook away all her previous thoughts and decided to relax and enjoy herself. The two bonded over drinks for the rest of the evening. Jessica explained that she would be joining the school and that she would be in the year below Tyler. Tyler then pointed out a few faces who would be in her classes and introduced her. Tyler also pointed out some of his own friends and she finally caught sight of Elena for the first time, who was busy talking to Lexi.
'So that's Stefan's girlfriend?' Jessica thought to herself as her eyes searched the room for her uncle who was playing pool.
Her attention snapped back to Tyler and the two continued talking until they were both definitely no longer sober.
"Shit! Is that the Sheriff?" one of the other kids sat next to them exclaimed.
Tyler turned in the direction that the kid was facing.
"Fuck! Let's get out of here now before we're caught with alcohol" Tyler said as he grabbed Jessica's hand, and they snuck through the side entrance of the restaurant and out onto the street just before the deputies blocked off the doorway.
"Whew, that was a close one!" Jessica chuckled as she looked at Tyler.
"Sure was, I would be in a world of trouble if I had been caught" Tyler laughed back.
The area continued to fill with police officers and Tyler decided that the pair should keep moving just in case the officers decided to come and check them out.
Jessica and Tyler walked hurriedly down a side alley and then out into the main square of the town that Jessica was now familiar with. It was slightly colder than it had been when they had arrived earlier that evening and Jessica found her teeth starting to chatter.
Tyler noticed and gave her his jacket.
"My place is not far from here; do you want to come back to mine before you die of cold?" he asked.
Jessica hesitated, she knew it was wrong to head to the home of some guy that she had just met and didn't know very well. However, she had also lost Stefan and Lexi and they were not answering her texts. She didn't know how long it would take to find them and she didn't know the way back to the house in the dark. She also didn't want to get sick before starting school next week.
She knew what Tyler might have been suggesting by going back to his place and Jessica was certainly no virgin anyway. She remembered the last time she held complete trust in being with a boy all alone, it had destroyed her life as she knew it and was the beginning of a very unfortunate set of events.
However, she sensed that he did not have murder or harm on his mind for her and decided that it would be cool to see where the mayor's son lived. For the first time, she was able to push her dangerous thoughts to the back of her mind, she was trying to move on and as she was in a new country, she decided to go with it.
"Ok, lead the way" she agreed.
Tyler seemed surprised that she actually agreed but started to walk in the direction of his house with the new girl in town. He decided to show her that he wasn't always the douchebag asshole that he acted like, and everyone thought him to be.
Once they arrived at the Lockwood Mansion, Jessica relaxed, and Tyler poured her another glass of his father's whiskey to warm her up.
Jessica nodded in thanks as she took the glass from Tyler and loved the feeling of warmth that spread through her body with each sip.
Soon the inebriated pair were laughing over Tyler's childhood pictures. He was such a goofy looking kid, a complete contrast to his current personality.
"God, I needed this!" Jessica remarked.
"Yeah?" Tyler asked her.
"Yes. Just some normal, teenage fun" Jessica giggled.
"I'm glad you've had fun" Tyler replied.
Jessica nodded as she stared back at Tyler.
The two looked at each other for a moment before they both leaned in towards each other. The next thing they knew was that they were heavily making out on the downstairs couch. Jessica moved and positioned herself so that she straddled Tyler's lap. She could feel that he wanted her. Unfortunately, as usual, she just felt numb.
The rational part of her mind was screaming at her to stop and actually think about what she was doing. Her controlling nature promptly told her rational brain to shut the hell up.
Jessica rocked her hips against Tyler's as they made out. Tyler's control snapped and he lifted Jessica as he stood. He carefully carried her up to his bedroom whilst they still steadily made out.
Once in his bedroom, Tyler shut and locked the door behind them and took Jessica to his bed. Jessica stripped Tyler of his shirt and peppered kisses down his torso. Using the confidence boost that the alcohol had given her, she reached for his hips and used her hands to remove his belt and undo his jeans.
Tyler's body was on fire. The new girl was so hot, Tyler loved a woman who could take control. He watched her as she removed her own top and leather jeans, her beautiful body was breath-taking.
Jessica pushed him down on the bed and used the position to her advantage to remove his jeans completely. She could see just how hard he was through his underwear, it already looked painful. Her breath caught in her throat, lord she wanted him badly, but she couldn't guarantee any emotional connection. She removed his boxers and took the time to let her hands roam over his delicious manhood.
Tyler growled at her ministrations and knew that he needed her now or this would end all too quickly. He pulled Jessica down to the bed and positioned himself above her. He removed her bra and her underwear, thrilled that she was still wanting him to continue.
He lay above her and leaned down to kiss her deeply once more.
"Condom?" he questioned.
She shook her head.
"I'm on the pill" she confirmed.
"Are you sure?" he asked her.
Jessica nodded.
"I'm sure, please Tyler…do me" she replied, allowing her voice to drop to a seductive octave.
That was all the confirmation Tyler needed. Tyler lined himself up with her entrance and quickly thrust himself deep inside of her.
Tyler moaned at the feeling, whilst Jessica's mind instantly floated off elsewhere.
A pace was set between the two of them and Jessica could tell that Tyler wasn't far from reaching the end.
Tyler, noticing that Jessica wasn't as close as he was, allowed his hand to reach between where their bodies were joined and he quickly rubbed her sensitive bud over, and over, and over, until…
"FUCK! TYLER!" Jessica screamed, faking it as she was 'pushed over the edge', pretending that pleasure was rolling through her body in waves to not upset the other teen.
Hearing her scream and feeling her convulse around him, pushed Tyler over the edge as he felt himself release.
Jessica pretended to catch her breath as she watched Tyler come down from his high. They snuggled together and Jessica tried not to space out again. She really hadn't felt a thing from the experience, and she nearly burst into tears in despair that the enjoyment of sex had been cruelly taken from her at such a young age.
"That was hot" Jessica managed to say convincingly, she was really regretting her decisions tonight.
"So hot!" Tyler agreed back, still breathless from their activities.
As the two lay snuggled together, they very quickly found themselves falling asleep due to a mixture of emotional exhaustion of different kinds and alcohol coursing through their veins.
.
.
.
The following morning, Jessica woke to the sound of the early dawn birds chirping outside. She could see that it was only just starting to get light outside. She lay still for a moment, silently begging the room to stop spinning. It had been a while since she had drunk alcohol and last night she had definitely overindulged. She would be surprised if she managed to stand without vomiting. The fact that it was very early morning was suddenly the only thing on her mind.
Fuck! She hadn't meant to fall asleep. She hadn't even told Stefan where she was. Would he be mad at her? Probably.
She looked at the still sleeping Tyler and hopped out of the bed on a mission to find her mobile without being a stumbling idiot. She located her phone in the back pocket of her leather jeans that were on the opposite side of the room. She looked at her phone and noticed several missed calls and texts all from Stefan. To her surprise, a couple were even from Damon. She hastily texted an apology to Stefan and explained that she was fine and that she had fallen asleep at a friend's house but would be home very soon.
She went back over to Tyler and gently stroked the side of his face, trying to get him to wake up.
His eyes popped open and, upon seeing her face, he grinned at her.
"Morning you" he drawled at her.
"Morning love" she said back as she moved around the room, collecting her clothing.
"I'm glad you woke me up before sneaking out but, did it have to be so damn early?" he said to her.
"I know, sorry Tyler. I'd better get going. Stefan is losing his shit and it's only a matter of time before he drives here to get me himself" Jessica answered as she got dressed.
Tyler's eyes widened at the mention of Stefan's name.
"Fuck! I forgot you were with the Salvatore's. Stefan is gonna kill me. At least let me drive you home, it might soften the blow a bit and Stefan might not beat the crap out of me for this" Tyler said as he scrambled for his own clothes.
Jessica nodded in appreciation; she didn't think she would make it far on her own without passing out.
Tyler and Jessica quietly snuck out of Tyler's house and out to his car. The drive back to the Salvatore's was quiet. Jessica's headache was quickly turning into a full-blown hangover, she tried not to throw-up in Tyler's very nice car.
"For the record, I did have fun last night. Thanks" she said to Tyler.
Tyler smiled back.
"I'm glad" he relied.
As they arrived at the house, Jessica noticed that Damon was just getting out of his own car and momentarily wondered where he had been that early in the morning. Damon stopped as he noticed Tyler pull up behind him, he was shocked to see the little twerp's car coming down the drive.
"Well, I've got to go. I'll see you at school next week" Jessica said, and she thanked Tyler once more for the ride.
"No problem sexy, we had a good time, didn't we? See you at school" Tyler replied.
Jessica tried not to cringe as she got out of the car, knowing full well that Damon would have heard that comment.
Jessica waved as Tyler turned and drove out the driveway. By the look on Damon's face, Jessica knew that she was going to be in trouble for staying out all night without telling anyone where she was.
"Where the hell have you been?" Damon asked in a deadly calm tone as he leaned casually against his car.
Jessica cringed.
"I hung out with Tyler and some of his friends at The Grille last night and we went back to his place" Jessica answered, careful not to mention that 'we' meant only the two of them.
Damon raised an eyebrow at her, trying to keep his cool.
He was about to say something else when the door to the boarding house nearly flew off its hinges as a very angry Stefan flew out the door towards her. He had heard Tyler's car coming up the drive and had watched Jessica get out of the car from the window.
"Do you have any idea how worried I have been all night?" Stefan shouted at her.
Jessica winced at his angry tone and looked at the ground, she did not want to look at his angry expression.
"Don't you dare try to avoid me. Look at me when I'm talking to you" Stefan demanded, as she raised her eyes once more to meet his.
"Well, I'm waiting to hear your excuses" Stefan said.
Damon noted the girl's pale expression and was convinced that she was not far away from throwing up. What the hell did she get up to last night?
"Why don't we settle this inside?" Damon suggested, hating the thought that he might have to clean vomit off the porch.
Stefan glared at the both of them and headed back inside to the living room. Jessica and Damon followed in behind him.
Once inside, Damon gestured for Jessica to sit on the couch. He then got her a glass of water and smirked at her as he handed her the glass.
"How's your head this fine morning?" he shouted rhetorically at her, trying not to laugh at her obvious hangover.
Jessica winced as she lightly sipped the water.
"Her head?" Stefan asked, clearly missing the obvious due to his initial anger.
Damon just nodded knowingly, and Stefan's eyes widened as he caught on to his brother's meaning.
"Are you hungover?" Stefan gasped.
"Of course she is" Damon stated, the girl reeked of alcohol after all.
Stefan just stared at the girl he thought he was getting to know.
"What the hell were you thinking?" Stefan asked as he walked over to her.
"Sorry I missed your calls, I fell asleep" she replied, trying to avoid the question.
"Yeah, I got your text about thirty minutes ago. You fell asleep at a friend's house? Who on earth did you get so friendly with last night that you felt comfortable sleeping at their house?!" Stefan asked loudly.
Jessica closed her eyes and put the palm of her hand to her forehead, she was really trying not to give in to her now throbbing migraine.
"That Tyler Lockwood punk just dropped her off" Damon smirked; he was really enjoying the awkwardness of it all and Stefan being so riled up.
"Tyler Lockwood? Are you insane!" Stefan asked aghast at the thought that she had been hanging out with Tyler.
That boy was trouble personified.
Jessica just groaned in discomfort.
"Do you have any idea what Tyler is expecting from you?" Stefan questioned awkwardly but concerned.
"Oh, I have no doubt that she does brother" Damon answered suddenly trying not to wince.
Stefan looked at Damon in confusion. Damon just stared at Jessica; he had hidden his true feelings regarding Jessica's whereabouts. He had been out for the last few hours trying to find her, not that anyone needed to know that he had been slightly concerned by her disappearance. However, now that the anger and initial shock had worn off, his senses were functioning properly again. Including his sense of smell. His nose picked up the scent of The Grille, alcohol, Tyler Lockwood, and…he stopped there before he got too angry and went after the boy himself.
Stefan also concentrated and picked up the same scents that his brother already had.
He grimaced in distaste at the stale smell of sex that was rolling off her in waves.
Jessica noticed the similar disgusted expressions on their faces.
"What?" she asked hesitantly.
The boys both looked at her. Damon remained motionless refusing to take this on whilst Stefan's face turned red in embarrassment on her behalf.
"Do you remember me telling you about a vampire's hyper sense of smell?" Stefan asked reluctantly.
Jessica nodded, she vaguely remembered Stefan mentioning it before.
"Just to let you know, you will never be able to hide anything from us. The stale smell of what you and Tyler got up to last night is all over you" Stefan said, unable to look at her now.
She gasped and turned red at the implication and caught Damon's eye.
Damon nodded at her; he was feeling slightly disappointed in her for some reason.
"Go take a shower. We will deal with you once you've sobered up a bit more" Damon stated flatly.
Jessica, face still on fire, gulped and nodded as she hastily vacated the room.
'God, how embarrassing!' she thought to herself as she headed to her bedroom.
The sudden movement made her feel dizzy, and the nauseous feeling that she had been fighting since she woke came back with a vengeance.
Feeling her stomach roll, she knew she was about to throw up and she made a mad dash for her bathroom. She knelt in front of the toilet, just in time, as the last eight hours finally caught up to her and she seemed to throw up all the alcohol she had put in her body.
Stefan and Damon were still in the living room as they listened to the sound of the girl rushing up the stairs and vomiting.
Stefan looked sullenly at the ground, blaming himself for the whole situation. Damon just sighed in exasperation; he did not need to be dealing with cliché high school drama shit.
"This is all my fault" Stefan said.
Damon looked at him perplexed.
"Will you get a grip Stefan? Not everything is your fault. This is all HER fault, and you need to make sure that she knows that. You are someone who is wanting to be her guardian, correct? You cannot handle her as if she is you're new BFF. She's a kid and needs a role model, guardian, friend, confidant, disciplinarian, and boundaries, all rolled into one. Do you not fully understand yet what you have agreed to take on?" Damon snapped at his brother's naivety.
Stefan resisted the urge to state that he only needed a new BFF now because of Damon. He also didn't want to admit that Damon was right, Stefan was feeling a little out of his depth here and the gravity of his responsibilities were starting to sink in.
"You are the most irresponsible person I know; how can you be standing there lecturing me about something like this?" Stefan muttered.
"You forget brother, that I practically raised you" Damon stated.
Stefan gulped as his mind transported him back to his childhood. It had always been Damon who had looked after him, bathed him, ensured he was fed and had clean clothes, taught him how to read and write, tucked him into bed, played with him, taught him about the facts of life, and even punished him when he deserved it. A teenage Damon had been a better father and role model than his own adult father had ever been.
"I'm going to school" Stefan said, wanting to 'wash his hands' with the whole situation.
Elena was already worried that he had murdered Damon after what he had done to Lexi last night and he knew she would be waiting for him at school before classes started for the day.
He picked up his bag and left the house in a foul mood.
Damon shook his head and sighed at his little brother's behaviour. Did Stefan really think looking after a teenage girl was going to be that easy? Teenage girls were an absolute nightmare!
For some reason, Damon remained exactly where he was and listened as the sounds of the girl retching upstairs slowly subsided. A few minutes later, he heard the toilet flush and then there was silence.
He grabbed a fresh glass of water and headed upstairs, deeming it safe. He lightly knocked on her bedroom door and entered the room.
"Well, you look like shit" he remarked as he caught sight of her.
"Don't act like you give an actual fuck about me Damon" she snapped, not at all in the mood to deal with him right now.
Her stomach was still doing somersaults and her head felt like it was about to burst open.
"What was my rule about speaking to me in a respectful manner?" Damon seethed, having had enough of her attitude now.
"Look, I'm sorry, but right now I need to get a shower" she stated.
"Yes, you do, but you are obviously not going to last the length of a decent shower without passing out. For now, you will just have to suffer stinking to high heaven of sex, alcohol, and vomit…which we WILL be discussing later" Damon stated matter-of-factly.
Jessica was about to argue back but the sudden feeling of bile making its way up her throat again forced her run back into the bathroom.
Damon just rolled his eyes as he resisted the urge to storm into the bathroom and flush the toilet whilst her head was still in it. Damon was not a good role model for anyone, no question about it. The problem with Stefan was that he was too relaxed and had far too much faith in the teenager being completely infallible. Damon knew better than to trust a teenager to have complete control over their rational side and he knew a teenager would succumb to their natural hormonal urges once in a while because, of course, teenagers are supposed to make mistakes. Particularly when that teenager was half-Damon. Damon knew his brother would never be the 'bad guy' which meant that Damon was going to have to be.
Damon was pulled from his thoughts when Jessica appeared and he noticed that this time, she was swaying dangerously. Damon knew she was moments from passing out completely.
He went over to her and grabbed her arm to support her. He pulled her over to her bed and sat her down. He grabbed the glass of water and made her take a few small, slow, sips and placed the glass back on the nightstand. He then made her lay down and stood to leave the room.
"Thank you" Jessica said sleepily.
"Oh honey, I wouldn't thank me just yet" Damon remarked.
Jessica looked at him in confusion.
"Out all night, didn't tell anyone where you were, underage drinking, getting drunk, talking and going home with strangers, sleeping with playboys, hungover, and a disrespectful attitude and foul mouth upon your return" Damon listed her crimes.
Jessica gulped as she continued to stare at the dangerous man.
"With what I have planned for you later, you might want to pray that you don't wake up at all" he stated darkly.
Taking a small amount of pleasure in hearing her heartbeat increase in fear, he backed out of the room ensuring that he gave the door a headache inducing slam on the way out.
