Neb: I do not own Hunter X Hunter

"They didn't understand why I climbed this mountain," monologue a man in a black leather hoodie. He had brown hair and silver eyes and he was in his twenties. He appeared to be telling someone his story. "One of the tallest peaks in the world. It was to get away from it all. My father and his blacksmith shop, my brother and his whining, and my mother and her bickering. They wanted to design my destiny for me. A son of a blacksmith she grow up to be a blacksmith they told me. I understood my fathers passion, I could feel it every time he brought his hammer down shaping the hot steel. I could see the glow of his aura every time he knew his next piece would be better then his last. Why couldn't he see my aura. It was stronger then his, but he couldn't see it or sense it. My little brother was the same way, every time he picked up one of dad's swords the aura would flow around him. It wasn't that I didn't like my dad's weapons, I just didn't feel especially attached to them. Not like the wind blowing past me every time I sat upon the mountain. That was where my aura was at it's strongest. That was where I would train, so I could use this aura even without being on the mountain. I felt it grow stronger every day I climbed the mountain. One day, when passing a Karate Dojo, I saw a man from within the walls talking to a woman. They had strong aura's just like my fathers, just like mine. They referred to it as Nen. I didn't understand, I was only twelve. The man told his star pupil and the woman the principles to learning Nen. They didn't see or sense me. Apparently, I naturally learned Zetsu and In, to hide my aura. I would then go up on the mountain once more to practice to control my Nen, that was Ten. Then I would strengthen it with Ren. I later learned that I had naturally understood Gyo and that was why I could see others auras. It was the first thing I learned as a child, to see my father's appreciation for his own work. It wasn't tell I was fourteen that my Nen became the wind just like yours. You were a friend of my brothers, I could see your aura as well and I wanted to shape it." He was talking to a younger man who hadn't even reached age twenty yet. "I took you up on this mountain and like my father had plans for my destiny, I had plans for yours. It took you tell you were sixteen to even learn the principles of Nen, but you at least developed an aura similar to mine."

"Ok," the younger man responded. This one wore a purple sweatshirt and blue jeans. He had black spiky hair and brown eyes. "But why did you make me touch a cup of water with a leaf in it."

"A simple test, I had learned from watching the dojo master while I hid," the silver eyes man responded. "I wanted to see what category you fit under. I was a Transmuter, my secrets that I had kept from my father, mother, and brother caught up with me. Transmuters are generally liars you see and I've had to do a bit of lying when we were kids... You however are an Emitter. You are direct by nature and impulsive, kind of like an Enhancer without being simpleminded. I am quite happy you can learn to project your aura in the form of wind to strike your enemies from afar. As a Transmuter, I can turn my aura into wind like you can, but my attacks are mid ranged at best. I need you as a sniper, my eyes and ears. Can you do this for me Yujima?"

"If you didn't like your father's work... why did you make your wind into swords Minaga?"

"It felt most natural for me," Minaga sighed. "Even after my old man had been murdered three years ago, I can still hear the clanking of his hammer. Not because my brother took up his hammer, but because the way he shapes his weapons remains imprinted in my mind. That is the other thing about learning Nen, focus on what comes natura first and then expand from there."

"So who are we after Minaga?", Yujima wondered.

"There were five people with peculiar auras the day my dad was murdered," Minaga explained. "The Karate Dojo Master, the woman that was with him, his star pupil, and two men who came by my father's shop. They all five had left town within the week of my fathers death, they are the ones we will hunt. Together we will be the rising storm that avenges my father!"
