Chapter 26 Music Video Part 2
Ichika POV

We were now back at our cabin, and were discussing the idea I had earlier.

"You really want us to shoot a music video, Saki", I asked.

"Why not", Saki asked. "It seems like a lot of fun!"

"Maybe", Airi started. "But it's also a lot of work. Besides, non of us have any experience in shooting a music video."

"May I interject", Rui asked as he walked up to us. "If you are all okay with it, I'd be happy to help make your music video."

"Really", Saki asked excitedly. "You would?"

"Yes", Rui replied. "I've never directed a music video before, but I think I'd be a great learning experience for me."

"That's great and all, Kamishiro-Kun", Airi started. "But what about professional equipment? I doubt we can afford stuff like that."

"We don't need professional equipment", Rui stated. "Even footage shot with just a phone can look good if you know what you're doing. Also, an old friend of mine is actually knows a thing or to about video editing. I'm sure they'd be happy to make the music video for you all if I asked them."

"Really", Ena asked.

"Yes", Rui replied. "If you'd like, I can set up a meeting with them."

A few days later, after we had returned from our camping trip, we were waiting at a café for Rui and his friend.

"Sorry were late, everyone", he greeted as he walked up to us. "Anyway, allow me to introduce you to my friend."

"Hey there, everyone", Rui's friend greeted us. "It's nice to meet you all! My name is Akiyama Mizuki."

"I've seen you before", Saki said in realisation. "Aren't you a member of the online group Hona-Chan has offline meet-ups with?"

"That's me", Mizuki replied, before sitting down at our table. "When Rui asked me to edit a music video for the band her friends are in, I was more than happy to help out!"

"Thank you so much for helping us, Akiyama-San", Ichika said. "And thank you so much getting us in touch with them, Kamishiro-San."

"You're very welcome, Hoshino-Kun", Rui replied.

"So, Akiyama-San", Airi started. "What experience do you have when it comes with music videos?"

"I've made some fan MVs for my favourite shows", Mizuki revealed. "If you want, I can show you some?"

With this, Mizuki got out their phone and showed us some MVs they had made.

"Wow", Ena said in awe. "These are really well put together for fanmade MVs."

"You really think so", Mizuki asked, and Ena nodded. "That makes me happy!"

"Anyway", Rui started. "To start, I think we should discuss what type of music video you all would like to see. Do you have any ideas?"

"Any ideas", Saki started as she started thinking. "I haven't actually really thought of anything."

"Hmm", Rui started as he began thinking. "Saki-Kun, Tsukasa told me that the point of your group is to enjoy your youth to the fullest, correct?"

"Yep", Saki replied. "I wanna do as many fun things as I can while I still have the chance to!"

"I see", Rui started, before thinking some more. "In that case…perhaps your music video can include scenes of you all doing fun things?"

"That's a good idea, Rui", Mizuki said. "And…maybe we can also include some scenes of them performing as well?"

"Yes", Rui agreed, before looking at us. "What do you all think?"

"That sounds like a fun idea", Saki replied excitedly.

"I agree", Airi added.

"Me too", Ena added.

"And me as well", I added.

"Excellent", Rui said. "Now that we have the basic concept for the music video, we can start thinking of the more specific details for it."

As everybody discussed ideas for the video, I thought about something else we could do for it.

After our meeting was over, we all went our separate ways.

"This is going to be so much fun", Saki said excitedly as she walked home with me.

"I'm sure that it will be", I agreed, before deciding to bring up my idea. "Saki, I actually had another idea for the music video."

"What idea did you have, Ichi-Chan", Saki asked.

"Why don't we…write our own song for to use in the music video?"

"Our own song", Saki asked in shock.

"Yeah", I replied. "You can compose the music, and I can write the lyrics. So, what do you say, Saki?"

"That's a great idea, Ichi-Chan", Saki replied excitedly, before grabbing onto my hands. "Let's make the bestest song ever for our music video!"
