"You're at Angel Laura Memorial Clinic." One of the ladies informed her.
'Laura.'
'Think of Laura.'
'Was she Laura?'
Angela closed and then opened her eyes.
"Laura? Is that who I am?"
The three of them looked at each other.
"You mean you don't know who you are?" The other lady asked.
Angela shook her head. "No! My God! Why don't I? Why am I here? What happened to me?!" She started panicking.
"Hey, it's going to be okay. We're here to help you." The first lady said.
"Yeah, just take a couple of deep breaths." The second lady said.
Angela did what she said and after a few minutes she felt a little calmer.
"Better?"
"Yes. Thanks."
"So how do you feel right now? Physically?" The man asked.
'Ummm, a little tired."
"Okay, that's to be expected. Are you in any pain?"
"Well my left arm hurts. And my right hip."
"Okay, I'm going to do a few tests on you. If that's okay?"
Angela nodded.
Jeremy took out his stethoscope and placed it on her chest.
"Okay I need you to take a deep breath and count to ten. Then let the breath out slowly."
Angela did what she was told and after a few moments he removed the stethoscope.
"Your heart rate is a little fast. And your lungs sound like there is a little fluid in them."
"What does that mean?"
"You may have an infection. But don't worry, I'll give you some antibiotics to fight it."
Angela shook her head. "How did I get it? Why am I here? And who are you?"
The man sat down. "My name is Dr. Jeremy Wagner. And these are my nurses; Barbara Stephens and Kate Harrison."
"Well I would say it's nice to meet you but under the circumstances…."
"It's okay. We understand." Barbara assured her.
"Okay, but how did I get here?"
"You were in a car accident. He saved your life." Kate told her.
Angela looked at Jeremy. "You did? When was this?"
"A few weeks ago,. I was driving behind you. It was raining and you went over a cliff."
A flash went through her mind. She saw herself driving in the rain. But just as quickly as it popped in her head it popped right out.
"Okay so I went over a cliff?"
"Yeah, and I along with my EMS drivers Bill and Ron and George-who is a retired EMS driver rescued you and we brought you here."
"So this is your clinic?"
"Yes, it is."
"Who is Laura?"
Jeremy looked down. He rubbed his eyes and then looked back up.
"Laura was someone very special to me."
"Where is she? What happened to her?"
"She uh… she's dead."
"Oh, my gosh! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to pry."
Jeremy shook his head. "It's okay. I know you're confused and have lots of questions,"
"And we'll try and answer them as much as we can." Barbara said.
Angela nodded. "Okay thanks."
"So do you have any questions?" Kate asked.
"Yes, has anyone come looking for me?"

"Hey Meghan, when is the next patient arriving?" Dr. Jami Davis-world renowned therapist- asked her receptionist Meghan Roper.
Meghan looked at the sheet. "In about an hour."
"Okay, good. We have time for some lunch then."
"Pizza or Chinese?" Meghan asked.
"How about pizza?"
"Sounds good. The usual?" Meghan picked up the phone and began dialing."
"Yeah. When it comes, page me. I'll be in my office."
"You got it!"
Jami went into her office and closed the door. She went over to her file cabinet and pulled out the folder containing the information on her next patient. She sat down at her desk and opened the folder up.
Female; Caucasian
Height: 5' 7"
Age: 35-40
Has been in therapy for nearly two years.
Has been doing well except for one area.
Which they would be talking about today.

"Mona?" Sam asked.
"Yeah."
"Let me see that."
Tony handed it to her and Sam looked it over. Sure enough it was a notice for Anthony Micelli to vacate the premises of 3344 Oak Hills Drive within twenty four hours. It was ordered by Mona Robinson and signed by Judge Haynes.
"I can't believe she did this!"
"AH Officer, I'm glad to see you." Mona said, coming in from the kitchen.
Sam walked over to her.
"Mona, what the hell is this?!" She waved the paper.
"Well if I'm not mistaken that's a notice for what's his name over there to get the hell out of my daughter's house."
"Mona, come on! This is Dad's house too."
"Oh no it isn't. This is my daughter's house and he-she points to Tony-doesn't have any legal right to be here since they were never married. And since Jonathan is still a minor and can't make this decision I am."
Sam looked between her Dad and Mona.
"Mona, I know you're angry but come on! We're a family. You can't do this!"
"Watch me!"
Jonathan came through the front door just then.
"Guys! Why is there a police car…." He noticed the officer standing there.
"Oh my God! You found my Mom! Is she okay?" He pleaded with the officer. His face was lit up in anticipation.
The officer shook his head. "No, I'm sorry. We haven't found your Mom."
"Oh." He sighed. "Then uh what's going on?"
Sam walked over to him. "This! This is what is going on! Mona wants to kick Dad out!"
"What? Sam what are you talking about?!"
"Here." Sam handed him the paper. Jonathan read it and looked at Sam.
"I don't believe this."
"Yeah, I don't either, I mean come on Jonathan you know Angela would not want this!"
Jonathan looked back down at the paper. His eyes then flickered to Tony for a second and then to his Grandma.
'Ok, he thinks this is a bad idea too! Maybe he can convince Mona to drop this!'
Jonathan handed the paper back to her.
"Well actually I don't know that! Because my Mom isn't here is she?!" Jonathan snapped. "And all because of him!" He glared at Tony.
Sam groaned. "Jonathan, come on!"
'No, I will not come on! If this is what my Grandma wants then I support her 100%."
"But you can't…"
"Sam enough!" Tony yelled.
"What? Dad I…."
Tony held his hand up. "Sam please no more!" He looked at Mona.
"Is this really what you want?"
For the first time in over a week Mona looked at him. She walked over and looked him dead in the eye.
"You better believe it! I want you and your lying ass out of my daughter's house!"
"The same goes for me." Jonathan said.
Sam sighed. "This is insane! Jonathan you're only fifteen! You can't stay here by yourself!"
"Oh that's no problem. I'll be moving in." Mona inform
"Ok, but what about Dad's job? And cooking? Are you going to do all that?!"
Mona shrugged. "I'll hire a housekeeper. And we can always get takeout or go out to eat."
"Hey Grandma, how about we buy some Crunchy Crawlers?" Jonathan smirked.
"That's an excellent idea kid."
She turned back to Tony.
"So there's your answer! Now I think you have some packing to do!"
Tony sighed. "Ok, if this is what you want. I'll go."
"But Dad!"
"Sam! Please!" He shot her a look.
"I'll uh. I'll start packing. "
"Good!: Mona went over to the couch and sat down.
"If you don't need me for anything else I'll be going." The officer said.
"Thank you!" Mona waved at him.
He nodded and opened and closed the door.
The four of them stared at each other. Four people who were in pain. Four people who were missing someone they loved for different reasons. At one time-not too long ago- they were a happy family. Sure they had problems, arguments, and disagreements but this was tearing them apart.
And there was only one person who could bring them back together.
Unfortunately she didn't have any idea where she was or who she was.

"Hello Doctor."
Jami smiled at her. "Hello, it's nice to see you. Please sit down."
The lady nodded and sat down.
"So, how have you been?"
The lady shrugged. "Oh you know. I have good days and bad ones."
Jami nodded. "That's completely understandable."
The patient sighed.
"Is there something you want to talk about?"
"Well you know…him."
Jami sat back. "Always him."
"Yeah, I know you have told me to go to him and everything but I just can't."
"Why not?"
She shook her head. "I don't know. I mean the way we left things…. He's probably forgotten all about me. He's probably with someone else now."
"But, you still love him." Jami said gently.
"I do."
Jami looked at her notes.
"You have said several times that you feel like you are just floating through life now. And I know I sound like a broken record but the only way you are going to have any peace and be able to go on with your life is if you confront him."
'Yeah, I know. Closure."
"That's right."
"I know. You're right."
Jami smiled. "You have come a long way since you first came here. But you still have a long way to go."
"I know."
"Just promise me you'll give it some thought."
"Okay, thanks Doctor."
"You're welcome"
They both stood up and Jami walked her to the door.
"So, next week at the same time?"
"Yeah, sounds good.
The lady walked over to Meghan's desk and made her appointment. She left the office and pulled a picture out of her purse.
It was the two of them. They looked so happy, They had been so happy.
Until everything changed…
