After observing him fighting against the Demon King of his world, Lucifer Sirzechs brings a demon by the name of Kenshin to Kuoh where he soon passes out from his injuries, he is reincarnated as a Devil by Rias who reincarnated the soul he just took in. How will this new twist affect the world around him, and did his family have history in this world? He would soon find out.

110. Devils in Heaven?

Draconis: Huh, so this is what the pearly gates look like. Hmmm... (Takes out a pickaxe) Get while the gettin's good.

Griselda: (Grabs Draconis' pickaxe and pinches his ear) Draconis-San, please don't vandalize Heaven's property.

Draconis: (chuckles and puts the pickaxe away) Relax Griselda I was just doing that for comedic effect. I knew someone would stop me. Though, you should really watch Kenshin.

Griselda: (Sees Kenshin getting ready to mine the diamond wall the gate was connected to.) Kenshin, stop!

Kenshin: Fuck you Drac!

Devils in Heaven?

Draconis: Begin!

(start)

The DxD group followed Griselda and Irina past the pearly gates and down the white stone pavement. There were buildings aligned on it made from stones as well as buildings floating in the sky as well as Angels with pure white wings moving about.

"It's so bright!" Issei thought.

Griselda spoke up. "There are a total of seven levels in Heaven. This is the first, or rather First Heaven. The highest level, Seventh Heaven used to be where God resided, however all that's left is just the system that represents him. The Sacred Gears system is there as well."

"Yeah, I remember Irina telling me that." Issei said.

"So basically First Heaven is the front line of Heaven?" Kazumi asked.

"You could say that, yes." Griselda nodded.

Irina points at one of the floating buildings. "That's where Michael-Sama's Brave Saints gather! I also show up there quite often."

"Well that's kinda fancy having a building that floats on a cloud as your quarters." Issei mentioned with a wry laugh.

"Mmhm!" Irina smiled with an excited giggle. "Michael and the other Seraphim are at the Sixth Heaven. That's where the main headquarters of Heaven are based at, and well...the lowest ranking Angels like myself mainly come here to first Heaven."

"So we're heading one level below where God is supposed to be." Kenshin mused.

Rias glanced around, her eyes narrowed keenly. "I was told that the structures of the floor changed quite a bit from before." She said walking alongside Kenshin, holding his hand.

Kenshin smiled and gripped her hand back in return. "Eh?" He glanced over, seeing Yukari grab his other hand. When he looked at her, she only smiled in return.

"I'm sure Azazel-Sensei...or the Grigori rather were living at Fifth Heaven before falling." Xenovia said.

"Yes, it's said that the Fifth Heaven was were the Grigori Angels lived when they were actually Angels. Now it's mainly a floor of many research institutes. The Brave Saints cards were also created there." Griselda confirmed.

The group got on another elevator and then began to walk around. Looking around like tourists. Then they had to go through a security checkpoint before going any further.

(beep beep!)

"Come on, really?" Kenshin said as he was stopped.

"Sorry, but we need you to check all your weapons." One of the angels said.

"Haa..." Kenshin sighed and took out Shiroi Tengoku and Kuroi Jigoku and handed them to the angels. He then took out the Colt 1911A1 Mana had given him, a set of daggers and stacks upon stacks of onmyoudou charms. He tried to walk through the checkpoint again only for it to go off again. "What? ! Do you want me to yank out my fangs and claws too? !"

"A-Actually...both times registered a false positive." The female angel at the desk said with a sweatdrop and smile.

"..." Kenshin's brow twitched in annoyance as he took all his things back. They all boarded the next elevator. The angels got in touch with the other security checkpoints and told them Kenshin was clean.

"The Heaven that you all know of is Third Heaven, as it shares deep connections with the Pure World. Souls regularly pass to and fro between there." Griselda said. "When Michael brought your father here Kenshin, he personally escorted him to the entry point."

"Wait...so if Dad wanted, he could visit here?" Miyuki asked.

"Yes, but understand that he'd be completely stripped of his mortal powers, only being a soul." Griselda said. "If Heaven were attacked, he'd be in grave danger, because if he were killed then...that'd be it. He'd be gone forever. Even then the time he could stay would be extremely limited. Like...mere minutes because of the power his soul held. He'd only probably be allowed to chat with you for like a minute before needing to leave and take a nap."

"I see..." Hikari nodded. "Well that's good to know. If anyone ever sees him, just tell him his family's doing fine if he wasn't already watching."

"Well I guess we're the devils that surpassed Heaven." Issei said.

"Where we are now is the Fourth Heaven, also known as the Garden of Eden. The story of Adam and Eve is famous for it." Irina said.

"Can't you let us look around now that we've passed Third Heaven?" Kenshin said.

"I'm sorry but Michael-Sama's time is precious." Griselda said.

"Yet he had time to watch my fights against Ialda." Kenshin said rolling his eyes as they passed by the research center known as Fifth Heaven.

As they enter Sixth Heaven Griselda spoke up, a look of realization on her face. "I almost forgot...this place is strong toward the evil as the human worlds and the Underworld." She paused to put a finger up. "It's very fragile against evil."

"Well, they are angels...so having evil intents would be taboo. Even Irina has her wings flicker between black and white to things besides erotic things, but seriously they can fall with just that?" Issei thought.

"...To put it simply, Issei-Senpai needs to refrain from having his usual perverted thoughts." Koneko said.

"I-I promise I will keep my mind pure." Issei said.

"I wonder about that." Yukari snorted as they pass through a massive gate, revealing a shrine like building, giving off a golden shine.

"Jeez." Kenshin said shielding his eyes. "What is that place...It's like I'm looking at a freakin' sun. "

"It is the current core of Heaven where the Seraphim reside, Zebel, incidentally we also call the floor above this place that, because only Seraphim can enter." Griselda said before she and Irina turned away, walking in a different direction.

"Hey wait, that is where Michael is, is it not?" Chachamaru asked.

"The main Zebel is undergoing interior construction, so the Seraphim are meeting at a different location." Griselda said.

"Hrmn...making fortifications I presume." Erubetie asked.

"..." Griselda nodded as they arrived in a court of sorts, many various varieties of flowers blossomed in different colors, the sound of water flowing resounding. It seemed to be a garden.

Everyone looks ahead. Seeing a figure sitting at a table, at a terrace, in a small hut. As soon as he spots DxD he gets up and walks out, smiling gently. "Hello everyone, I'd say it's been awhile, but thanks to Kenshin-kun. It really hasn't."

"It hasn't really Michael-Sama. We thank you for inviting us into Heaven." Tamamo said as everyone in DxD bowed respectfully.

"So, what's your impression of Heaven?" Michael asked.

"How should I put it...it feels divine." Issei said.

"It's a wonderful place. If human souls do really come here after death, or to the Pure World, then it really must be a paradise." Rias said.

"Hrm..." Kenshin said. "...I wonder how many of the people I killed ended up here." He asked himself.

"Well, the majority of the deceased go to Hell, or the Impure World." Michael said with a smile.

"...Please don't joke about that." Tamamo drawled.

"Then please don't be to stiff. There isn't anything here, please make yourselves at home." Michael said raising his hand, an angel woman coming forward and pouring tea for them as they were all seated in chairs Michael made appear. Kenshin looked around.

"Is something the matter?" Michael asked.

"Oh, nothing it's just..." Kenshin chuckled a bit, feeling a little nervous. "Never in my life did I expect I'd be sitting in Heaven, having tea with it's Regent."

Michael closed his eyes, chuckling a bit. "I told this to the Satans and Azazel, but...had I know about how you lived. I would have sent one of my Seraphim to gather you and your family."

"Well the thoughts nice...but...I think I'm satisfied with life now." Kenshin said with a smile. "Y'know...the very good...with the awfully bad. That's life. I just kept rolling snake eyes for awhile."

"True." Michael said. "About our father's sword."

"I left it with Azazel who didn't want to come." Kenshin said. "He sent Raynare as his representative."

"Thanks for having me." Raynare said bowing her head respectfully.

"I understand why he didn't want to come." Michael chuckled. "Honestly we all just meant it as playful ribbing."

"Well...no one likes having their life's passion mocked." Hikari said.

"I suppose, next time I see him I should probably apologize." Michael said. "Now, please let me thank you once more for your hard work this year. It was a year filled with so many shocking events. However, it's also true that if you all weren't present, that the current situation for Heaven and the Underworld simply wouldn't be possible. Angels, Devils, Fallen Angels, Humans and even Youkai having tea together like this was unthinkable last year. All of this is because of efforts of young ones such as yourselves, efforts which will avoid the risk that the next generation will lose their lives in battle...once again you have my thanks." Michael then turned to someone. "I believe you have been here before Xenovia."

"Yes. Michael-Sama. That happened back when I came here to get Ex Durandal repaired when it was destroyed by the leader of the Hero Faction." Xenovia said with a nod.

"Yeah, after each battle Xenovia would have to send her sword back in for maintenance. Seeing the combined swords Excalibur and Durandal being sent out in the morning, then reappearing in the afternoon was a regular occurrence." Issei thought.

After this, they all have a conversation about the Christmas Project and the project's contents. They exchanged ideas on how they should give presents out. "You plan on doing this worldwide, as to help Jolly ol' Saint Nick lessen the burden on himself? Traveling the entire world in a single night has to be rough." Kenshin said.

"Yes?" Michael asked as Kenshin spoke up.

"Then how's bout we do this. Christmas Island, coincidentally named I know. Part of the Kiribati Islands, Baker Island and the American Samoa all experience the next days dawn as according to the time zone lines and all that." Kenshin said. "We go from there and go as far as Europe. From there Santa can take over to lessen his burden, and if he wants, sprinkle visits on our territory as well. That way he's still doing his job but isn't overworked because of it. I mean he also has his lists that he double checks."

"That'd be a good plan to implement down the line, but we're doing just Kuoh this year as a trial run." Michael said with a nod.

"Fair enough." Kenshin said before stepping away from the table. "Excuse this. Balance Break!"

"Balance Breaker! Elemental Overdrive!"

Kenshin donned his Scale Mail before reaching down and plucking the darker of the two orbs on his shinguards before dismissing his Balance Breaker. "Before I forget. During the attack on Auros, we were able to successfully defeat and seal Grendel. We'd like to give this to you for safekeeping. It contains Grendel's soul." He said placing the orb in front of Michael.

"Hmn." Michael nodded. "You have my word that this will be kept safe."

"Thanks. Azazel was worried about his aura and intentions leaking out, so we figured here was the best place for it cause that's kind of your department." Kenshin said.

"He's right to have been worried. We shall examine and keep this tucked away while cooperating with the Grigori." Michael said.

"Michael." Everyone turns to see Gabriel, wearing a Santa costume.

"Oh, Gabriel. Shouldn't you still be resting?" Michael asked. "Though you really didn't do all that much. Using your horn for attacks can be exhausting."

"I'm fine Brother." Gabriel smiled.

"Hello Gabriel-Sama." Griselda said.

Gabriel clapped her hands together with a smile. "Griselda-Chan and everyone are here, as well as the devils I worked with not that long ago, How are you all doing?"

Issei's eyes were glued onto her chest. "She bows her head and those babies bounce immediately! Are they even shining in the light? !"

The next moment Issei is surrounded by a circle with many Enochian angel symbols. "W-What the? ! Why is there a barrier around me? !" Issei said, a panicked tone in his voice.

Michael smiled bitterly. "I'm sorry. That's a system that activates when your evil passion appears more than necessary in Heaven. You could say it's a device which prevents you from falling. It usually only activates when an Angel has his or her worldly desires increased, to restrain them...but it seems like it activated on the Sekiryuutei."

"A falling preventing device? So he's saying it activated by responding to my evil passion? So I'd be at risk of falling if I was an Angel?" Issei thought.

"Issei-Senpai must have been staring at Gabriel-Sama's breasts with lewd eyes." Koneko said.

"Nice Issei, you managed to trigger a system that was meant to prevent Angels from falling." Kazumi quipped. "Way to go."

Gabriel wasn't concerned and even smiled at Issei as she approached him. "Oh my~ this Devil-San sure is naughty. That's a no-no, okay? Bad." She said poking his forehead.

If anything this served to intensify what Issei was feeling, that an alarm even started to go off. "It seems security has increased.

"Geez Issei, calm down. " Rias said with an exasperated sigh.

"For fuck's sake Issei." Kenshin groaned. "Note to self. If business is needed in Heaven, never bring Issei." He said before getting up as Gabriel turned away from Issei and toward him. "I've been remiss Gabriel-Sama. I never thanked you for your help in the final battle against Ialda." He said extending his hand.

Gabriel smiled sweetly. "Well you did ask." She said shaking his hand. "And thank you for behaving while you're here." She said. "By the way. I don't mind if you just call me Gabriel."

"Very well." Kenshin nodded.

"Oh? If it isn't Issei-dono and the others." Everyone turned to see Dulio approaching.

"Oh, Dulio nice to see you not in the middle of a crash." Kenshin chided.

"..." Dulio furrowed his brow at Kenshin before turning to Michael. "Sorry for asking for time to get some air at a time like this."

"It's quite alright. During a time like this breaks are needed from time to time, besides I believe you said you will be helping out with the Christmas project, Dulio?"

"Yeah, I'm good at giving out presents." Dulio said.

"Ahem." Griselda cleared her throat. "Michael-Sama, maybe it would be good to notify them about that case."

"Yes. It's not like they're unrelated to it. The truth is there are incidents involving the staff of the Church whom are being attacked." Michael said.

"..." Everyone immediately became serious. "What's going on?" Tamamo asked.

"There have been fatal casualties among the leaders of the Vatican, but there are also those being killed that hold important positions in other branches. We are still investigating the incidents in order to find more accurate information, but it seems like the presences of Evil Dragon being detected so it's most likely..."

"Qlippoth, right?" Rias asked.

"Yes, so please be alert. We don't know what their objective is, so we will end up getting hurt if we lower our guard. They're good at checkmating you by using traps." Michael said.

"Great..." Kenshin grunted as DxD got up to leave.

(Break)

A little later.

"Jeez, if it isn't one thing it's another. I oughta just hunt Rizevim down and kill him in his sleep at this rate." Kenshin sighed.

"Well we don't have any leads so you can put that on the back burner." Yukari said with her eyes closed.

"Yeah..." Kenshin said.

As they ascended the stairs, they heard laughing coming from the living room. "What the?" They saw Miki, Issei's mom talking to a middle aged man with brown hair, wearing priest's clothing. Issei narrowed his eyes, slightly recognizing the man as he turned to Kenshin. "Ah! You must be Kenshin, Miki and Gorou's nephew." He said.

"Papa!" Irina said running over to him.

"Oh, my Angel! Are you doing alright?" He said catching Irina in an embrace.

"Of course I am, are you doing OK as well?" Irina asked.

"Of course." Her Dad replied as Miki smiled.

"Kenshin, this person is Irina-Chan's father. You probably wouldn't remember him. Even I was shocked to see him return so abruptly." Miki said.

"Hello there Kuroshi Kenshin-kun. Nice to finally meet you. I am Shidou Touji." He said before casting a look at Issei, which unnerved him. "Hey Miki, could you go get us something to drink?" He asked with a smile.

"OK, hang on just a second." Miki said as she turned away, giving Erubetie enough time to warp away.

Touji turned back to them with a smile. "You don't have to pretend around me. I know who you are." He said to Issei. "Though I'm confused...why are you wearing an illusion?"

"W-Well."

Raynare stepped forward with a sigh. "I was...put up to killing him by Kokabiel of the Grigori, or face death myself. After I...regretfully did the deed, this one." Raynare gestured toward Rias. "Reincarnated him as a devil...and because Issei's soul was inside his body at the time." She gestured toward Kenshin. "It affected him as well."

Touji nodded. "I understand. I know how Kokabiel can be through hearsay alone...and just looking at you, I can tell you regret having to do it, greatly so. Just treat the young man good along the others who love him won't ya? His parents will eventually find out, so it's best to have everything in order. Though they will likely be upset with you. I'm sure they will ultimately understand and give you a chance...but just one."

"That's all I need." Raynare said with a smile.

He turns back to Kenshin. "Thank you for your help in keeping him alive."

"Oh please you flatter me! I thought I was going to die too and his body was breaking apart so I just wanted to give him a body to bury." Kenshin laughed. "I never expected to happen along my future wife." Kenshin said hugging Rias with one arm.

"Hmhm~" Rias closed her eyes with a smile.

"Well anyway. It's been planned that I will work with Irina-Chan for this project, but let's discuss about that afterward. I brought souvenirs!"

"Hair Conditioner?" Tamamo said.

"For your hair and tails." Touji smiled.

"I...can maintain the condition of my tails and hair just fine...but...thanks I guess." Tamamo said with an unsure look.

The group went on and had dinner across several tables. Everyone however could hear Touji telling a heroic story about Irina, but it was so funny that she blushed in embarrassment.

"Geez! Papa! You even talked about my embarrassing history in front of Issei-kun's parents!" Irina shouted.

"Hahaha! I'm sorry. I wouldn't be satisfied if I couldn't talk about how adorable you are, I couldn't help it!" Touji laughed.

"Well then how about this?" Hikari said.

"!" Kenshin realized Hikari was telling a story about him. "M-Mom? !"

"Hmhmhm~! What Ken-Chan? I'm not allowed to tell stories about my adorable son?" She asked with a smile.

Kenshin and Irina both felt angry and put on the spot at this. "Wow, not very often I get to see Kenshin get flustered, but that aside. It's also rare to see Irina angry like this..." Issei pauses to smile. "I guess I'm seeing a new side of her when she's having dinner with her dad."

"Oh, so you guys came back from Heaven." Azazel said after Miki and Gorou left the room. "You must be Irina's father. I am Azazel."

"Oh if it isn't...the former governor. How do you do? I am Shidou, I have the role of both Pastor and Agent in the Protestant Church. My dear daughter Irina sure has been under your care." He said shaking hands with Azazel. "Let me introduce myself again. My name is Shidou Touji, the one who came up with this Christmas project. I am the pastor of the Protestant Church of England."

Kenshin filed away that part with what Michael told them as Irina spoke up. "Did you know that my papa was an exorcist in the past." Irina said.

From here Touji went on to explain how Touji came up with the idea and the points we have to be cautious about. Kenshin explained that Michael had already warned them before hand. Touji went on to explain that the idea was a show of gratitude to the people living here, more or less a compensation fee for causing them trouble.

"..." Kenshin and Issei went silent, patching a connection through their shared Boosted Gear. "Kenshin." Issei thought.

"Yeah?" Kenshin thought.

"You don't think Irina's Dad is a target do you?" Issei thought.

"Pastor of the Protestant Church? There's no way he's not." Kenshin thought.

Touji goes into an explanation about the doorknob Michael sent Irina, how it would prevent the falling of angels. "I...kinda felt like Heaven would use their technology more seriously, unlike the Grigori and the Underworld." Issei said.

"But they are." Kenshin said making Issei turn to him. "Issei, Angels have the most difficulty in siring future angels. They have the low birth rate AND they have to purify their thoughts before they do the deed. That knob only makes it to where the angels have to purify their thoughts before they leave the room, not only allowing them to more easily find lovers, but more easily to birth new angels as well."

"Exactly." Touji said before placing his hands on Issei's shoulders. "Issei-kun. I place my grandchildren in your hands.

"E-Even if you suddenly say something like that! How am I supposed to react." Issei thought. Touji, not sensing Issei's confusion only nods.

"Yup Yup! I don't mind either a boy or a girl. No, in fact I want to see a lot of grandchildren by having you two put so much effort into baby making. Ah, if it's a girl then she will probably become lovely like Irina-Chan. Since she will become a child of an angel, she will turn out to be a very angel like girl. I guess it will become courageous like a dragon if it's a boy.

"Welp, he's gone into a world of his own...kinda like Irina." Issei drawled. "Now I see where she gets it from."

Irina closed her eyes and yelled. "You dummy dummy dummy dummy dummy! Papa you dummy! Michael-Sama! For all people, why'd you have to tell Papa! I can't stand this anymore, Issei-kun will hate me now!"

Irina shudders herself away in the corner of the VIP room. "That kind of room is revolutionary." Rias said.

"Once you enter that room, there's only one thing you need to do..." Akeno said.

"This might be a room we don't want Nee-Sama or Alma-San to find out about." Koneko said.

"It sure does seem like she wouldn't let Issei-Sama go till he gets dried up once she takes him inside. Same with Kenshin-Sama and Alma-San." Ravel said.

"No kidding. I've even been asking Irina to keep the knob hidden with Alma around." Yukari said.

"Kuroka will probably fuck Issei into a coma, but Alma...she might try and break Alice's record." Miyuki said.

"Yeah, we don't need that happening. Not while we're trying to fight these terrorists." Tamamo said before smiling suggestively. "After...however."

"Hrm...it's too early for this." Rossweisse said with a sigh.

Issei was patted on the shoulder by Azazel. "You did it Issei, you won't find a situation where a devil or a dragon can make love to an Angel without making them fall so often. Man, you womanizer! Kenshin! This is good for you too!"

"...How?" Kenshin said with his brow arched.

"Well maybe in the future you decide you'd like to try to seduce Gabriel." Azazel said, his brow wiggling suggestively.

Kenshin deadpanned. "Really? You went there?"

"Yeah? She seems to like you." Azazel said.

"She seems to like everyone." Kenshin said rolling his eyes. "Besides I think I have enough women chomping at the bit for me right now."

"I'm just saying, you got a potentially endless life ahead of you. Nothing wrong with enjoying things." Azazel said. "By the way. I heard you laid into the Devil Council."

"Ah that come up in one of your conference calls with Sirzechs?" Kenshin said.

"What do you mean?" Issei asked.

"Well, they were doing another bullshit investigation on Grayfia...and..."

(flashback)

A few days ago.

After school had concluded for the day. Kenshin was called into a council meeting. He was the last to arrive and saw the Four Satans, with Grayfia standing in front of them. "Oy vey..." Kenshin thought taking his place between Lord Sitri and Zeoticus, Tamamo appearing behind him. It was optional for the Lords and Ladies to have their servants with them, so Kenshin asked Tamamo to warp in once he sat down.

"Now that the Dragon of the Elements, Lord Kuroshi is here. We can begin this meeting." Sirzechs said, schooling his features, but even Kenshin could see the frustration in his eyes.

"Thank you Lord Lucifer." Lord Bael said.

"Oy this guy." Kenshin muttered. "Why is he leading this farce of an investigation?" Kenshin asked Zeoticus.

"They asked for a Faction leader and he was the one who stepped forward." Zeoticus answered. Kenshin rolled his eyes.

"You stand accused of hiding the location of your brother, War Criminal Euclid Lucifuge from the Justice of the Underworld. Do you deny these claims?"

"Categorically..." Grayfia said, an neutral tone in her voice.

"I will remind you that you are being investigated, so I ask you do not talk with such an irritation in your voice. We can have you detained for venting your emotions too much." Lord Bael said.

"Excuse me, but what emotion?" Sirzechs said. "She answered your question."

"Yes, but look at the look on her face. She's clearly angry." Lord Bael said. "Remember my Lord Lucifer, due to your position you cannot show favoritism, to anyone."

The looks on all four Satans faces soured, but none said anything. "So she's not allowed to show emotion. Got it." Kenshin spoke out, a sarcastic tone in his voice.

"I will ask you to remain silent Lord Kuroshi. As you and the one being investigated are a part of the same peerage. Anything you might have to say will be seen with measures of bias." Lord Bael said.

"What exactly did I say that infringed on your investigation? She's being accused of what is basically a war crime, which carries a heavy sentence of jail time and at worst execution. Anyone would be even a little emotional given the circumstances...and I'd say she's holding herself up pretty well." Kenshin said. "If I smell anything rotten from this...investigation I will not bite my tongue, Bael."

"You're being awfully arrogant Lord Kuroshi." A bulky man, wearing armor said.

"Considering he doesn't have the guts to come over here and shut me up Lord Barbatos, I'd say I'm not." Kenshin said. "And he and I both know this." He said locking eyes with Lord Bael.

"You mean to challenge the Great King Faction?" Lord Barbatos said.

"I do not. I just know he won't do anything to me physically because he's already in hot water with his clan's founder Lord Zekram, as for what. I won't say." Kenshin said, sitting back down.

"Very well." Lord Bael said before turning back to Grayfia. "You deny these accusations, but have yet to provide clear proof of your innocence."

"..." Grayfia went silent.

"Isn't her interrogating her own brother proof enough?" Kenshin asked. "From what I hear she's treating him like a prisoner rather than a sibling?"

"Lord Kuroshi, remain silent." Lord Bael scowled.

"No, you know what? I have THREE Factions at my back now, which makes me a Faction leader in and of itself." Kenshin said. "Go ahead and ask more questions. I'll fact check."

"Hrmn..." Lord Bael grunted and turned to Grayfia. "Your clan fell after the Civil War, why is that?"

"Because my father wished it so with his dying breath. He had recognized that the Lucifuge Clan needed to fall to ensure peace. He knew Euclid was a threat." Grayfia said. "I had no wish to step up as the Head of the Lucifuge, so that left only him."

"Ah, so your father knew he was a threat. Correct me if I'm wrong, but to keep your clan's blood pure, were you not arranged to be wed to Euclid by the elders of the Lucifuge?" Lord Bael asked.

"..." Grayfia closed her eyes.

"Would that not prompt you to hide his whereabouts as he was not only your brother, but your lover? Pretending to be Lord Lucifer's wife in the meantime?" Lord Bael said.

Grayfia scowled at this and Kenshin spoke up. "I object! That is mere conjecture at best! What proof do you have? !"

"Yet she refuses to deny the claim." Lord Bael said with a smirk. "You're playing in my field now boy."

"So what if it's true? Did you forget that they were in a war? War is chaotic, I'd know having fought in TWO of them! Euclid and Grayfia could have been in completely different places." Kenshin said stepping onto the floor with Grayfia and the Satans. "Whatever pure blood arrangement the Lucifuge had with Grayfia and Euclid is wholly irrelevant."

The other council heads started to murmur amongst themselves. Lady Agares spoke up. "I, for one think she's getting a raw deal sure, but we have to be thorough Lord Kuroshi, please understand."

"I do understand that Lady Agares, but be fair about it." Kenshin said. "Cause right now the accused might as well have hiked her dress up so you all could ram a microscope up her hindquarters."

Grayfia for all her control over herself couldn't help blushing at this. Lord Bael cleared his throat. "The fact still remains she has yet to provide proof that she hasn't hidden her criminal brother away from us.

"That's because I do." Kenshin said reaching into his head with Seishin Boido and pulling out an orb. "Lord Beelzebub. Can you create a formula that will allow the Council to view this memory of mine?"

"I most certainly can." Ajuka said taking the memory orb from Kenshin and laying his formulas over it.

Meanwhile Kenshin went on. "Before I turned in my report on Euclid's attack on Kuoh, the site of the armistice of the Three Factions. I felt it prudent to show it to the accused first."

"What? ! You showed your report to her before us? !" Lord Barbatos shouted.

"That makes you as guilty as her." Lord Bael said, thinking he had Kenshin trapped.

"I wonder about that." Kenshin turned to Ajuka. "Ready?" Ajuka nodded. "Then please roll the footage."

The council watched Kenshin and Grayfia's conversation, in which he revealed her brother's continued existence. "Pause." Kenshin said and pointed up. "You see that face? The abject shock...the tears in her eyes. Those...those are not things you can fake." He said looking up at at Lord Bael. "She truly believed her family was completely gone, and was shocked and pretty much heartbroken that her only living family was causing such pain for the land she called home."

"Oh please. Your evidence is mere emotional reaction?" Lord Bael asked. "That's incidental evidence at best."

"Oh? Then why don't we talk about your motivation behind this?" Kenshin asked. "You and Lord Lucifer have been at odds forever. You believing that the power should have fell to your faction after the death of the Original Four Satans, then when it didn't you all got all uppity."

"Krh." Lord Bael growled.

"Yet for a moment, it was in your faction's hands, but the head at the time, your clan's founder decided it would be best for the Satans to be chosen, not born." Kenshin said. "Your head cast the position of power away because he didn't believe in your abilities to lead Devils into the future." Kenshin said. "Admit what this is really about." Kenshin scowled. "Go ahead, deny my accusations."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Lord Bael said with a scowl.

"Oh? Don't you? Well let me elaborate. You despise Lord Lucifer for stealing a position you believed to be yours, even in spite of him being your own nephew. You envy him for being stronger with the Power of Destruction than you ever thought about being and you hate that the common folk, those low ranked devils and reincarnated devils believe in him as a leader. So in order to stick it to him. You're trying to imprison his wife on bogus ass, trumped up charges. That goes for all of you! You know who you are!" Kenshin said.

The Devil Council all widened their eyes in shock. "What could you, a Devil Clan head with out a house have to say, that would have any merit here?" Lord Gusion sneered.

"You're overstepping your boundaries, You are merely here to advise the Satans and check their worst impulses and suggest legislature for them to approve. We are both legislative and judicial branches." Kenshin said. "The Satans themselves have done that better than you..and need I remind you all of what happened to the Original Satans which you seem so avid to replicate?" Kenshin asked.

"No one threatens us without recompense!" Lord Barbatos yelled.

"I wasn't threatening anyone, I was teaching you a valuable lesson." Kenshin turns toward Tamamo. "Tamamo, the next time Lord Barbatos speaks...kill him." Kenshin said, shocking everyone. "There, see? That's a threat. See the difference?"

Lord Barbatos growled as Tamamo's nine tails swished as she smiled. "As you wish my lord."

Kenshin looked up at Lord Bael. "This farcical investigation has gone on long enough." Kenshin said. "What more does the woman have to do before you remove the microscope from her ass? ! She's been telling the truth this entire time, yet you deny it simply because you want to stick it to Lord Lucifer!" Kenshin shouted.

"Well...there is one more thing." Lord Bael said. "She violated her house arrest in order to go and visit Lord Lucifer in his castle."

"No, Nuh uh!" Kenshin said. "She is the Head Maid of the Gremory Family first, under house arrest second." Kenshin said. "She is duty bound to obey the orders of the Head of the House of Gremory, who could have been seen as the Warden of her house arrest." Kenshin said before turning to Zeoticus. "Lord Gremory. Did you request that the accused accompany you, your wife and your grandson to visit your son, Lord Lucifer?"

"I most certainly did. Venerana aside. I just didn't feel safe enough without the Ultimate Queen alongside us." Zeoticus smiled. "These are chaotic times after all." He said. "Plus, what mother wouldn't want to be there for her child." He finished with a smile.

"Krh..." Lord Bael growled under his breath. "Then what about her trip to your homeworld, to escort you back here?"

"Zeoticus-Sama, Venerana-Sama and their grandson Millicas, Grayfia's own son were with us. What woman wouldn't protect her child? What Lord Zeoticus Gremory said still applies." Kenshin asked. "You're not going to fault her for protecting the future of House Gremory are you. Because, as I am marrying Zeoticus' daughter Rias...when that happens. Millicas becomes the next heir to the House of Gremory in her place as Rias would become Lady Kuroshi."

"Grrhh..." Lord Bael growled.

"I move for this farce of an investigation to conclude. The accused stands guilty of no crimes, had no knowledge of her younger brother's continued living and has not hidden his existence from the Alliance. If you all weren't obsessed with power, maybe you'd have seen that and judged her fairly."

Most of the council was admonished at Kenshin's harsh words. The final vote came out at 70/30 in Grayfia's favor. Sirzechs sighed with a smile. "This meeting is adjourned."

The council floor emptied out, leaving only the Satans, Zeoticus, Grayfia and Kenshin left. Tamamo smiling and warping away. "Kenshin...thank you." Sirzechs said.

"No need. I know bullshit when I smell it." Kenshin shook his head with a smile.

"There will still need to be a final vote, but I think what you said shook the council. Some realized they were not being fair in this investigation." Ajuka said.

"Still. I love Grayfia's chances." Falbium said.

"Yeah! Gray-Chan I think Kenshin-Chan just seriously helped you out!" Serafall said.

"Hmn." Zeoticus smiled. "Come on everyone."

Everyone but Kenshin and Grayfia left, who left the chambers together. "Thank you...Kenshin...you didn't have to do that."

"But I did..." Kenshin smiled at her. "You were being treated unfairly. So I finally decided to step in."

"Well...still, you have my thanks." Grayfia said with a smile, her eyes closed. "I owe you a debt."

"Ah, don't worry about it." Kenshin said.

"But I will worry about it...you finally got them off my back..." Grayfia said with a smile.

"Well...as long as you're asking...and insisting...then...how about a kiss?" Kenshin asked, merely as a tease.

"!" Grayfia blushed a bit, before glaring. "Kenshin..."

"Relax. It can be wherever you want Grayfia. I don't mind." Kenshin said with a carefree laugh.

"Oh..." Grayfia paused to smile. She reached over to cup his right cheek. Kenshin closed his eyes, thinking it to be on his forehead.

Kenshin's eyes opened to see Grayfia pulling away with a smile from his left cheek. "Grayfia?"

"T-That's not it! I-I'm just surprised and happy for you! I-I'll see you later Grayfia!" Kenshin said running out of the council chambers. "I was just teasing! I didn't think she'd actually do it, and on the cheek, if anything I thought it'd be the forehead if she did do it!" Kenshin thought.

Though he didn't hear this. Grayfia's smile widened as a faint blush developed on her cheeks. "Thank you, Kenshin." She said with an endearing smile.

Kenshin left the last few tidbits to himself. "Aah, so it wasn't much the whole Council as it was Lord Bael and the Great King Faction." Azazel said.

"Yeah." Kenshin nodded. "I think the next council meeting will be to completely exonerate Grayfia." Kenshin said with a smile.

"Kenshin...you look oddly happy." Azazel said.

"Grayfia was being treated unfairly and I finally was able to help her out. Of course I'm happy about that." Kenshin said his eyes closed with a smile. Azazel nodded and turned to Issei.

"Hrm..."Azazel stroked his cheek in thought.

"..." Kenshin donned a thoughtful look. "Seems the same things bothering you as well Azazel."

"Wh-What?" Issei asked.

"Your sexual desire has become pretty weak since you've started dating Seekvaira, Irina, Asia among others. Before you would have been craving perverted things...maybe it's because you become satisfied, but now I don't feel as much lust from you as before." Azazel said.

"There, you could have also used it on Ialda Baoth who was-" Azazel was cut off.

"No. I'm glad he didn't use it on Ialda Baoth." Kenshin said. "He would have probably been driven mad by the voices of the Resonance."

"..." Issei looked down at his hands. "I totally could have done that...so why didn't I? !" Issei thought. "Was I that taken in by the flow of battle? ! I could have helped take out that Purple Flame user!"

"What are you all talking about?" They turned to see Yukari, Miyuki and Hikari approaching.

"Nothing serious...maybe...it's just...Issei seems less lustful these days." Kenshin said.

"True." Azazel said. "I guess that's why he didn't do it."

"I've...received a call from home, and I will have to return to my family's castle now." Rias said.

"Did something happen?" Issei asked.

"What's wrong? Is everything alright?" Kenshin asked, concerned.

Rias tilted her head in response. "Well, it sounded like it wasn't good news. Think about the season we're in. It wouldn't be weird for anything to happen. I'm also thinking of visiting Onee-sama so I will be going back for a short time. I'll be back tomorrow night."

Issei and Kenshin nodded. "Gotcha." Issei said. "We'll take care of the rest of the clean up."

"Tell Grayfia I said Hi." Kenshin said. "A-Also, I know she didn't exactly like me teaching Millicas my coin attack Rakansen, but just tell her it was purely for self defense."

Rias smiled at this. "I will...and Kenshin...thank you for sticking up for her."

"Hey you know me. Always trying to do what's right." Kenshin smiled. Rias smiled back and disappeared, warping to the Underworld.

That night.

In bed, in his room was Kenshin...and at his sides were Akeno and Yukari. He woke up to find this. He heard Akeno whispering in her sleep. Due to Rias' absence Akeno and Yukari had both crawled into his bed. Akeno spoke up. "...Hmn...Kenshin...do you think I have a baby inside me with this...? I'm worried that I don't...please...one more time..."

"? !" Kenshin glanced at her with wide eyes as her arms wrapped around him tightly.

"Chief Rias has returned to the underworld temporarily, right?" Xenovia asked.

"Yeah, but Xenovia this is hardly the time." Kenshin responded. "Please just be patient."

"No...that's not what I'm here for." Xenovia said.

Now Kenshin was curious. "What do you mean?" Kenshin asked.

"Please come with me. I want to show you something." Xenovia said.

"Alright. Give me a moment." Kenshin said throwing out a stencil and swapping places with his clone that resulted from it. Kenshin follows Xenovia up to her room, only to find Issei standing next to the door. "Eh?" Kenshin and Issei both said.

"Now Issei, open it." Xenovia said.

"?" Issei looked at her questioningly. Even Kenshin was confused. "Why is she telling Issei/me to open the door to her own room?" Kenshin and Issei thought.

Issei, with trepidation turned the knob and opened the door. What appears is the angelic baby making room from before.

Kenshin glanced at Xenovia, finally understanding what she was doing and helped her shove Issei into the room before slamming the door shut while Xenovia locked it.

"Oi! Xenovia! What is the meaning of this? ! Why are you helping her Kenshin? !" Issei said trying to pry the door open.

"I thought we should use it since they went through all the trouble to give it to us. Prepare yourself Issei. Your partner is waiting."

"My partner...what ar-" Issei was cut off from his thoughts as he turned around, seeing Irina sitting on the bed.

"Yeah. We would always take insect catchers and ride our bikes far as well." Irina smiled.

"Well, you say that, but we were only allowed to go as far as the next town." Issei said.

"Right." Irina nodded with a smile. "Still, for kids like us back then. It was like ending up in a new world."

"Hahaha! Yeah! I remember when we bought candy from another town!" Issei chuckled.

"Yeah! We constantly pigged out on lettuce-jirou and Micchan the Octopus!" Irina said. Issei let out a sigh with a smile. "Issei?" Irina asked, concerned.

"It's nothing...but..." Issei smiled at Irina. "Looking back...I already apologized for seeing you as a boy."

"Like I said. I did pretty much act like one when we were kids." Irina giggled.

"But..." Issei said getting Irina's attention. "I realize how much I missed you."

"...Issei..." Irina said with a blush before smiling. "Y'know...Asia has asked me multiple times about your childhood." (1 ) Irina closed her eyes. "I told her what I could, but...even as an Angel...I selfishly kept things to myself. Our memories together." Irina said taking Issei's hand.

"I-Irina...?" Issei said as Irina got in closer.

"It's...OK. We've already done it...right?" Irina said, taking Issei's hand and placing it against her breast.

"E-Even if we have already done it, Irina's breast is so soft! So Smooth! This is the feeling of an Angel's breast? !"

Irina glanced back, having uncased her wings. "I know I tested it before when I gave you my virginity, but...it seems my wings won't even glitter after doing this much."

Just outside the room, Kenshin smiled. "Eh? Kenshin?" Xenovia asked. Kenshin walked away, prompting her to follow as Asia, Kuroka and Le Fay all interrupted the passionate scene between the childhood friends. "Is something wrong?"

"No...it's just...after hearing all that...I realize how much of my own childhood I missed out on." Kenshin said with a smile.

"Oh..." Xenovia said.

"Xenovia?" Kenshin said.

"H...Honestly...I feel the same. From the time I was a young child...I was trained as a holy swordswoman." Xenovia said with an uncharacteristically shy look.

Kenshin smiled. "So, could that be why you feel the need to be a mother? Missing out on your own childhood and womanhood?"

Xenovia closed her eyes, smiling a bit. "I...think that might have something to do with it."

Kenshin smiled back at her. "How about this...I'll make you feel what you missed out on before I make you a mother? Just spending time as a normal girl." Kenshin asked

"What I missed out on?" Xenovia asked.

"Having a child is a two way street. A healthy child requires two parents who love each other." Kenshin smiled. "And no matter what you say. I want to be there for a child of mine...and it's mother."

Xenovia blushed at this, but smiled. "I understand..." She said, before smiling coyly. "This wouldn't have anything to do with you declaring yourself as my running mate for Student Council President...and is this your way of asking me out on a date?"

"Little Column A, mostly Column B." Kenshin grinned.

Xenovia smiled. "I accept." She said before stepping in, kissing Kenshin on the lips. "...Kenshin...I love this new, more open you." She backed away with a bashful smile. "Even I could tell how much you held yourself back."

Kenshin smiled back and hugged Xenovia. "Well...everyone else seems to be busy...so want to sleep with me tonight? Nothing lewd?"

"Hmhmhm" Xenovia laughed. "I-I have a nasty habit of tossing and turning in my sleep. Can you handle it?"

"Oh I think I can." Kenshin said as they walked to his room. "?" Kenshin glanced over, seeing Xenovia smiling with her eyes closed as she grabbed his hand without hesitation.

The next morning.

"Mmnngh..." Kenshin half moaned, half groaned as he woke up. He felt softness around his cheeks. "Hnn?" Kenshin looked up seeing Xenovia, sleeping with a smile on her face.

"Hmn..." Xenovia's smile widened as Kenshin felt his face sink further into the softness.

"I restrained her legs with my tails, but I guess her tossing and turning was only limited, and she just ended up pulling my head into her cleavage." He thought.

"Mmm...Kenshin..." Xenovia moans in her sleep. "Please...I can't wait any longer...give me your baby..." Kenshin closed his eyes with a sighing smile before leaning up and kissing her on the lips. "Hmn?" Xenovia's face scrunches up before her eyes opened. "Kenshin?"

"Morning wannabe Mama." Kenshin chuckled.

"Hmhm." Xenovia laughed softly. "I guess it fits."

"Well, we didn't end up in a weird position, you just hugged my face into your cleavage." Kenshin said.

"I see." Xenovia said before pausing. "Um...I didn't say anything weird in my sleep did I?"

"Not really." Kenshin answered. "Just professing your desire for me to give you a child, which to me isn't weird at all coming from you."

"I see." Xenovia smiled.

"Well, let's get dressed, we're supposed to help Touji-San with shopping around." Kenshin said getting out of bed.

"Yeah." Xenovia said. "Kenshin..." She said.

"Yeah? Kenshin said, pulling his pants up.

"Will you promise you'll give me a baby?" Xenovia asked.

"..." Kenshin closed his eyes, going silent for a moment. "You know. I don't really like making promises."

"O-Oh...I'm sorry. For-" Xenovia was cut off by Kenshin slapping his hands on her shoulders and smiling.

"In the past I hated it because I never thought I'd be able to keep the promise...but now...I think I can." Kenshin said with a smile, making Xenovia smile back. "However...if I may...can I ask why you want a child so badly? I get wanting a strong child and womanly duty and all that jazz."

"..." Xenovia, who'd fully gotten dressed, smiled, looking at the floor. "I...had to explain this to Ryuushin-San...but?"

"Yeah Dad probably wouldn't have approved without good reason." Kenshin thought

"Well...it's not just...that I want to be a mother, as my duty as a woman...but..." Xenovia trailed off with a blush, before looking into Kenshin's eyes, still smiling. "In the church, I grew up an orphan, until Griselda came along...I guess...I want to give my child the love of a parent...that I didn't get until Griselda came along."

"..." Kenshin smiled at her. "Xenovia...that's beautiful."

"Eh?" Xenovia said, a curious look on her face.

"Being adopted, yet wanting to show your adoptive guardian you can handle yourself...as well as loving your child in the way you felt you missed out on...I feel like I missed out on my own childhood a bit...so...let me help as the child's father."

"..." Xenovia smiled back at Kenshin. "Of course...You want to be there and I'd love to have our child know who and love it's father as well."

Kenshin reached over and hugged Xenovia for a bit before smiling as he pulled away. Xenovia smiled back. "To think we started off as enemies."

"I know..." Xenovia said looking down with a sad look.

"Oh come on Xenovia. Asia already forgave you for it." Kenshin smiled, kissing her on the cheek.

"..." Xenovia looked up at him with a smile. "Um...I'm not used to being loved romantically...I'm even getting used to being loved...so...can I...?"

Kenshin smiled as he embraced Xenovia. "It's perfectly alright Xenovia."

"Hmn!" Xenovia smiled brightly as she hugged Kenshin tighter. The two left Kenshin's room hand in hand, smiles on their faces.

Later.

After training the whole morning, everyone spent the afternoon on the Christmas project.

Issei, Kenshin, Asia, Xenovia, Rossweisse, Raynare, Miyuki and Sextum all had hopped a train to go two towns away.

"I guess receiving a present that is new and useful would make the ones receiving it happier." Issei said.

"Yeah, still it blows that we can't do proper research." Kenshin said.

"Yeah." Issei said.

"Well, we'll just have to play the best guessing game we can." Miyuki said, arms crossed behind her head with a bright smile.

"I'm very sorry for having all of you spend your precious time on this." Touji said.

"Oh no! Don't worry about it! It's actually a good change of pace." Issei said.

"He's right, Irina's dad. Usually our jobs are to train, so coming this far is a good experience." Xenovia said.

"Taking a break every once and awhile is good." Miyuki said with a carefree smile.

"OK, next we'll be checking the costumes. Let's head to the store which has cosplay costumes!" Irina said.

"Hmn..." Issei grunted as they entered the shop. "Ever since I brought up going to the shops, all the girls, even Kenshin's sisters and Kazumi-San all said."

"Looking at the places which sell them will be a good example!"

"I was not expecting that from Yukari-San of all people...but..." Issei glances at Kenshin. "Maybe...she's taking this chance to look sexy for Kenshin...haa...that brother lover." He mentally sighed.

Rossweisse approaches Kenshin and pokes him on the shoulder. "H-Hey Kenshin-kun."

"Hm? Where'd the -kun come from?" Kenshin asked.

Rossweisse blushed at this. "Um...in private I want to call you that...then work my way up to calling you by name alone."

Kenshin closed his eyes with a smile. "OK Rose, that's perfectly OK."

"Um...by the way Kenshin-kun...I-I'm asking this as one of the examples, but...please recognize that this is an example, OK?" Rossweisse asked. "From Kenshin-kun's example, for a costume worn by women...should it be those authentic trousers...or...a skirt."

Miyuki popped in with a smile. "Well Rossweisse, why don't you try both on and let Onii-Chan give his opinion? Here I'll try them on with you."

"E-Eh? !" Rossweisse said with wide eyes as Miyuki grabbed two pairs of trousers and skirts before dragging her and Kenshin toward the dressing rooms.

Kenshin sat as Issei, Asia, Raynare and Sextum shopped around while Xenovia, Irina and Touji accompanied them. He waited for Miyuki and Rossweisse to come out.

A few moments later. Rossweisse and Miyuki both came out. Rossweisse looking shyly which Kenshin silently snorted at. "Rose, I've seen you naked what's the deal?"

Miyuki meanwhile crossed her arms behind her head with a wide smile. "What do you think Onii-Chan?"

They were both wearing the Santa Costume that had trousers. Rossweisse looked away shyly while Miyuki giggled happily with a blushing smile.

Kenshin stared at them. "Well...honestly...they leave a lot to be desired." Kenshin said. "Your legs and hips are covered completely with the baggy clothing." Kenshin said. "Um...Just as well. Miyuki, your butt is more pronounced than Rose's."

"Mou...Onii-Chan!" Miyuki pouted.

"I-I wasn't calling you fat!" Kenshin said.

The two went back into the dressing rooms and changed into the skirts for the costumes. They both came out, Miyuki even doing a cute spin, holding a staff she'd gotten from Serafall as a gift.

"!" Kenshin stared at them both with a blush. Rossweisse looked away shyly while Miyuki giggled.

"Do you like it Onii-Chan?" Miyuki asked.

"..." Kenshin let out a sigh and smiled. "You look amazing." Kenshin said.

"Mmmhm! Skirts it is!" Miyuki said, twirling around, intentionally letting her skirt flip up, giving her elder brother Kenshin a view of her thong clad backside. She turned back to Kenshin, sticking her tongue out while winking.

"Wow...she really wants you." Salamander said.

"Well, she's been looking for something for herself...and she realized she had something she could request for herself all along." Undine said with a smile.

Rossweisse blushes from this. "G-Geez...why do you have to say such things to a girl, without thinking about it." She said.

"But...he did think about it." Miyuki said with a confused look.

"Rose, calm down...you look great." Kenshin said with a smile.

"E-Eh? Do I really?" Rossweisse asked.

"Of course." Kenshin said before kissing her on the cheek.

"..." Rossweisse's cheeks burned brightly as she cupped the cheek that was kissed, but she smiled widely.

As the group left the shop, it started to rain heavily. The group retreated to a summer house located in a nearby park. "Well, we don't exactly have any umbrellas." Miyuki said.

"Yeah." Raynare said. "Let's wait till it stops."

"Hrm...if Dulio was here, he could have easily controlled this in one go." Xenovia said, sarcasm in her voice.

"I mean, it would be possible." Issei said.

"You really expect him to be awake right now?" Irina said.

"Good point." Issei said.

"!" Kenshin's eyes widen.

"What is it Onii-Chan?" Miyuki asked.

"Someone's coming." Rossweisse said, changing into her Valkyrie Armor.

"Yeah." Xenovia said bringing out Ex Durandal. "Qlippoth...?"

The rain continued to pour. "Tch! Just like a bad fucking omen as always!" Kenshin growled, bringing out Kuroi Jigoku and Shiroi Tengoku.

There was only one man, but only one of the members of DxD is shocked at the appearance of this man. "N-No! It can't be! Why are you...!" Touji said.

"It's been awhile Shidou-San...or should I call you the Office-Chief Shidou now?" The man said, raising his sword, his and his sword's aura increasing.

"Kenshin, this isn't normal." Issei said.

"I know Issei. We shouldn't approach him carelessly." Kenshin said as the man stepped forward.

"So..." Touji stepped forward. "It is you, Yaegaki-kun...!"

"Yes..." Yaegaki said with a smirk. "I came to deliver judgment to you."

Issei, Kenshin, Miyuki and Xenovia blocked his attack while Raynare, Irina and Asia moved Touji to the rear. Rossweisse rebuffed them with defensive magic.

"Tch! He's enhancing himself with something!" Xenovia said.

"Let me handle this! Go!" Miyuki said coating her fists in earth magic, punching the holy sword slashes away.

"Balance Break!"

Kenshin rushes in as well, helping Miyuki combat the assailant while Xenovia battled them with Ex Durandal. "Tch! This slash!" Xenovia shouted as she and Irina battled the assailant. "It's something learned by an exorcist! You must be a warrior from the Church!"

The man smiles coldly at Xenovia. "Indeed...though it's more precise to say former." He said.

"Hey you! Why are you after papa? !" Irina said leaping above him with a mass produced holy sword slashing down at him. .

"IRINA DON'T!" Kenshin shouted.

The man laughs creepily as a barrier deflects Irina's holy sword."So your daughter is an Angel huh?" Seriously, this must be mercy given to you from Heaven, are you telling me this is the reward you got from killing me and her? !" Yaegaki said before dodging Kenshin's sword thrust with Kuroi Jigoku, Shiroi Tengoku strapped to his side.

Everyone looked at Touji, who seemed to understand what was going on as Xenovia lunged in behind him. "Aagghh!" Kenshin growled as both his hands were sliced off. He looked up only to have his eyes widened. "XENOVIA RETREAT!" Kenshin roared.

Xenovia jumped back while Yaegaki smirked as a familiar figure appeared behind him. "Yama!" Miyuki shouted, seeing the Shinigami holding Kuroi Jigoku. "Hey! That isn't yours!" Miyuki shouted.

"..Oh Miyuki-Chan, it was my brother's sword. Why wouldn't it be passed to me?" Yama mocked.

"Krh...he never wanted you to have it." Miyuki growled.

"Well, then I'm just to skirt away with it like a thief!" Yama said, disappearing as Miyuki clashed against Yaegaki instead.

"Grrrrrhhhh!" Kenshin growled, clashing against a figure who threw him back. He looked up only to stare in shock. "W-What the...? !"

The man in front of him wore a black battle kimono kimono with a golden dragon coiling up around it until the dragon's open mouth was at the collar and black hakama pants. He had long black hair and his eyes were in a seemingly perpetual squint. "..."

"You will find that is who you think it is." Kenshin looked up, seeing Yama smirking down at him.

"Krrrhh!" Kenshin growled. "How many graves are you going to desecrate before you're satisfied? !"

"Hahahaha. Oh Kenshin...I'm the Primordial of Death...the dearly departed...are mine to command." Yama said. "Now, I'll leave you to get reacquainted with your dear grandfather." Yama said as he vanished.

"Grandfather...?" Issei said looking over at Kenshin.

"Focus on that Yaegaki guy. For some reason he seems to be out for Touji's head." Kenshin said.

"Onii-Chan...that really is Grandpa RyuuTaisho isn't it?" Miyuki said.

"I nicked my finger to see if I could feel it...and he's still here." Kenshin said before scowling. "That bastard..." He growled.

"Kenshin." The man, now identified as RyuuTaisho said. "I'd say it's good to see you again, but...I'd be lying under these circumstances."

"Yeah." Kenshin said. "But how? I checked the grave site every year until I got zapped back to the future." Kenshin said. "How is your body not showing signs of decay?"

"Before he brought me back. A necromancer by the name of La Croix repaired my body." RyuuTaisho said.

"..." Kenshin scowled. "This La Croix...do you know what they look like?"

"All I know is that it's a woman." RyuuTaisho answered.

"Well, no matter..." Kenshin said. "If I ever meet her...she is one dead bitch."

"..." RyuuTaisho went silent. "Kenshin...you know what you have to do...right?"

"..." Kenshin paused, a look of great conflict on his face. "Grandpa...this present me was the same one you knew all those years ago." Kenshin said.

"Yeah...I know." RyuuTaisho said.

"I...get that you were sick of running...but...did you all even consider the burden you saddled Yukari and I with?" Kenshin asked.

"..." RyuuTaisho closed his eyes.

"We...killed you all." Kenshin said. "Yukari...was in such despair...she attempted to take her own life, but was attacked by the Vespertatian Royal Guard."

"..." RyuuTaisho's brow began to twitch.

"..." Kenshin closed his eyes. "If I didn't have Yukari...and she didn't have me...we wouldn't be standing here right now..." Kenshin looked up with a morose gaze. "We'd...have gone crazy from the grief and ended it for ourselves."

"I know..." RyuuTaisho said, looking up at Kenshin with a morose look on his face. "Words...cannot express how sorry we are for that." RyuuTaisho said. "You...tried so hard to give our clans peace...and how did we thank you?"

"..." Kenshin glanced away. "Enough..." Kenshin said holding out Shiroi Tengoku, holding his naginata in hand. "Come on...I'll lay you back to rest."

"Hrrgh!" RyuuTaisho growled, lunging forward. His left arm expanding and being covered in black scales.

"Grrh!" Kenshin growled, holding both of his blades against RyuuTaisho's hand. "How is he still using Ryuujin's Avarice? !" Kenshin thought. "Wait...did Yama trade it out for Dragonifaction? !"

"Haaaa!" Miyuki dove over Kenshin and punched RyuuTaisho backward.

"!" RyuuTaisho looked up after taking this punch.

"Heh...I know you were only a spirit when you met her, but let me introduce you to your second granddaughter, Miyuki." Kenshin said.

"H-Hi Gramps." Miyuki said with a small wave.

"Ah...I remember now..." RyuuTaisho smiled. "Hello my child. It's nice to meet you in person."

"Ye-Yeah." Miyuki said. "I just wish it were under better circumstances." She ended her statement with a sigh.

"As do I." RyuuTaisho sighed.

"How are you using that?" Kenshin asked. "Ryuujin was revealed to just be Ophis...even when I got zapped back into being a demon Forbesii I couldn't use the Sins of the Dragon God anymore."

"..." RyuuTaisho closed his eyes. "You're right in what you're assuming. This is not Ryuujin's Avarice...after repairing my body and reviving me. They forced me to learn how to take in Senjutsu youki."

"I see..." Kenshin said bowing his head. "!" He turned his head seeing Issei clashing against Yaegaki

"Hold on! I don't know what's going on here, but what's your reason for attacking another person all of a sudden? !" Issei shouted.

"...Step aside...This is vengeance I seek to reap." Yaegaki said with a scowling smirk. "If I murder that man. I can finally lower my hatred by even the slightest of margins."

"Revenge?" Issei thought as both he and Kenshin looked back at Touji, who only bowed his head in regret.

Yaegaki turns to Issei, and frowns, a serious expression overtaking his face. "Sekiryuutei huh? Looks like I have no choice but to release the power of my sword...this whole surrounding area has been turned into an isolated area after all."

"? !" Kenshin's eyes widened as Yaegaki focuses on the sword he's holding. In an instant, it's ominous aura increases at an alarming pace and distorts the space around him. The rain falling around everyone evaporates before touching him.

"Masanomi don't!" RyuuTaisho shouts.

"STAY OUT OF THIS DEMON!" Yaegaki shouts.

"Tch!" Kenshin turned as a dragon grew out of the sword. A gigantic eight headed dragon shedding tears of blood from it's eyes and it's large mouth, which is wide open showing it's large, sharp fangs.

"Tch..." RyuuTaisho grunted. "Kenshin, we will meet again soon, and...just know...I wasn't the only one brought back."

"Wait!" Miyuki said as RyuuTaisho disappeared.

"Yaegaki-kun, t-that sword!" Touji shouted

Yaegaki strokes his blade which had eight heads growing out of it. "Divine Spiritual Sword 'Ama no Murakumo no Tsurugi.' Well, right now it's been altered to look like this."

"Ama no Murakumo no Tsurugi? !" Kenshin and Issei both thought.

"I'd be an idiot if I said I've never heard of that blade, but wasn't it broken? !" Kenshin thought.

"Has it been repaired and now a dragon is residing inside of it? !" Issei thought.

"Kenshin, Partner...that dragon is an Evil Dragon." Ddraig said.

"Right, I thought so...the evil aura is so dangerous that I can only think of an Evil Dragon." Issei thought

"The Evil Dragon resided in that sword...and this poisonous aura..." Ddraig said.

"Yeah...no kidding." Kenshin thought.

"The Ama no Murakumo no Tsurugi was supposed to be broken and in the middle of restoration!" Xenovia said.

"And yet it was repaired! Though it's changed a lot...the sword which appeared to be possessed by the Yamata no Orochi! Don't you think this is sarcastic and wonderful? !" Masanomi Yaegaki shouted. "My hatred and the evil intent of the legendary Evil Dragon Venom Blood Dragon Yamata no Orochi, possessed in this sword! I shall use it to give punishment to all of you!" He said slashing downward.

"Hrgh!" Kenshin met his slash with Shiroi Tengoku and his dual blade. "Fat chance I'm letting that happen! Katentou!"

A stream of Heavenly flaming knives spew from Shiroi Tengoku, holding the advance of the eight heads of the Yamata no Orochi back. "STRIKE AT THEM NOW!" Kenshin shouted, seeing the eight heads of the Yamata no Orochi still extending forward, even while held back by his Heavenly Fire Knives.

"Ku!" Rossweisse activates multiple defensive barriers, but was pushed back.

"Haaa!" Miyuki lands next to her and helps Rossweisse strengthen her barrier.

"Where is that worthless demon? Did he retreat? !" Yaegaki shouts.

"You call my grandfather worthless? !" Kenshin shouted as he started to drive Yaegaki back.

"Haaaa!" Xenovia crushes one of the heads of the Yamata no Orochi with Ex Durandal, but it regenerated almost immediately.

Issei looked up, having no time to be shocked as one of the heads of the Yamata no Orochi lunged at him. "Partner! Kenshin! The poison of the Yamata no Orochi is dangerous! Do not touch it's fangs or poison at all costs!"

"Issei! Gather boosts and let this fucker have it!" Kenshin shouted.

"RIGHT!" Issei said.

"Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! !"

"Dragon Shot! !" Issei roared, punching a massive orb of red light at Yaegaki, obliterating several of the Yamata no Orochi's heads.

"Heh!" Kenshin smirked before pausing. "? !" His eyes widened as the blown away heads all regenerate as if nothing happened. "Seriously? ! It's healing factor is even better than MINE!"

"The Fairies!" Issei said as his Wyvern Fairies appear from each of the jewels of his Balance Breaker. "Kenshin!"

"Yeah? !" Kenshin shouted before being blown backward. "GET HIS ASS!"

"I and my Wyvern Fairies will blow the heads away all at once! When you get the chance, come in and attack him with the Quadruple Giga!" Issei said.

"? !" Kenshin's eyes widened in surprise, but narrowed as he smirked. "Nice Idea Issei! Let's do it! !" Kenshin said raising Shiroi Tengoku skyward.

"Issei-San!" Asia said in worry.

"Don't worry Asia! I'm not using the Longinus Smasher here!" Issei said.

Kenshin glanced back. "In the battle against me, and later against Ialda...Issei used the Longinus Smasher twice." Kenshin thought. "Just like the Demigod State for me, the effects have to be lingering, Issei even told me he could only afford one Longinus Smasher per month, yet he fired off two for my sake." Kenshin closed his eyes. "Issei...thank you." He thought as the elements spiraled around his kodachi.

"Kenshin! NOW!" Issei said after he and his wyverns all shot their Dragon Shots at the heads of Yamata all of them receive damage.

"? !" Kenshin's eyes widened, seeing one of the eight heads dive underground before he could stop it. "QUADRUPLE GIGA!"

Kenshin's sword slash, containing the full power of the elements obliterated the seven heads of the Yamata no Orochi. "Good luck recovering from that you son of a bitch!"

Xenovia tracked where the last head was going and stabbed it through the ground as Issei told Asia to summon Fafnir. However Ddraig speaks to Issei and Kenshin telling them something alarming.

"Partner! Kenshin! If it has a powerful enough though, an Evil Dragon taking a physical form can still move even if it's been beheaded!"

"? !" Kenshin and Issei both widened their eyes in shock. "Miyuki! Defend Touji-San!" Kenshin shouted.

"Right!" Miyuki said diving toward Asia and Touji.

"Damn it! !" Issei cursed flying toward them as well with Xenovia backing him up, however several heads of the Yamata no Orochi sprung from the ground.

"They recovered from the Quadruple Giga that fast? !" Kenshin said.

"You're in the way!" Issei and Xenovia both shout, blowing the heads away.

However Yaegaki cackled madly. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA! My anger and Cleria's revenge! I shall purify it with your soul!"

The one Evil Dragon head which comes out from the ground was aimed at by Rossweisse's spells. "I won't let you!"

Rossweisse's spells obliterate the head, but not before one of it's fangs shoot out and nicks Touji across his shoulder. "? !" Issei's eyes widened. "Asia, heal Touji-San now!"
