"Azazel, I wouldn't have used this hotline unless it was serious. Regarding Agreas' secret..I think it would be best to make it clear." Sirzechs said.
"The problem is getting worse I take it?" Azazel asked.
Inside Agreas is stored the technology to make Evil Pieces, a technology which contained the essential crystals of the highest quality. Since Agreas has been taken the sets of Evil Pieces we can make is less than a thousand. Which is fine for the short term, but-" Sirzechs was cut off.
"Heaven is facing the same problem." Azazel said. "Though they're fine because their system for reincarnation has been in place for a lot less shorter time, but still."
"Yes. The Evil Pieces are deeply embedded within Devil Culture and Life...if they were to be removed." Sirzechs said.
"The foundations of the devil world may be shaken, but I believe Qlippoth's aim is more than this." Azazel said.
The two talked about numerous things, such as the unrest within the Vatican, the previous Durandal wielder before Xenovia siding with them. "That's not good, the previous wielder's compatability with Durandal was extremely high, if he were to get his hands on Ex-Durandal..." Azazel trailed off.
"Not only that, Qlippoth is supporting them from the shadows." Sirzechs said.
"Sirzechs, Rizevim thinks simply. To say that he is naïve wouldn't be an overstatement, but it seems like the vampires view him as an ally, other smaller evil forces do as well. In a sense, his existence in the human world is more threatening than a God of War or a God of Destruction." Azazel explained.
"Yes, he is an example of the opposite of Issei-kun and Kenshin-kun. Rizevim is inciting chaos behind our backs." Sirzechs said.
"Did you find out about the devils who are supporting Rizevim?"
"No, Nothing else has come out of asking Euclid, and it seems Rizevim hasn't told Euclid's supporters about his disappearance. Qlippoth should know after taking Agreas." Sirzechs said.
"The investigation's still ongoing though right?" Azazel asked.
"We've narrowed it down to a few people, but one of them is someone I don't even want to imagine." Sirzechs said.
"Yeah, Kenshin's suspicious of him too, but with nothing but a conversation to go on, we can't do anything about it." Azazel said.
"Yes...I really hope we're all wrong about him. Kenshin was right to tell Shidou Touji to stay in Heaven." Sirzechs said.
"By the way, you know your uncle is demanding that Kenshin present his grandparents corpses to him right?" Azazel asked.
"Yes." Sirzechs said, closing his eyes on the other end. "But due to my position I can't do anything about it."
"Hrmn...No offense, but I really don't like how your guys' politics work. Like Kenshin said to Serafall back in Mundus Magicus, it seems to be a shit show." Azazel said.
"Trust me." Sirzechs sighed. "You're not the only ones who think that. I hate that Zekram-Sama only sees us as symbols, had I known that, I'd never have accepted this position."
"Well maybe ask Kenshin for help? He's a head of the council too, with three factions at his back. Help him see that he has a lot of pull." Azazel suggested.
"Hmn, that's a good idea, but we'll see." Sirzechs said.

With Ravel.
"Really Raiser-oniisama, it's not even dawn yet, what the hell are you doing?" Ravel said rubbing her sleepy eyes. "It's rare to be able to enjoy Christmas. As a devil, it's a valuable experience."
"Devils shouldn't be joining in the Church's rituals. You won't become a noble high class devil like this, and you've even neglected contacting me for awhile, it's not normal for me to go to the Sekiryuutei's and Dragon of the Element's house just to ask how you're doing!" Raiser said.
"Gee, sorry she's asking you to step out of your comfort zone." Raiser and Ravel turned their heads to see Kenshin approaching
"K-Kenshin-Sama." Ravel said with a blush.
"Besides haven't we mended the bridges between us?" Kenshin asked.
"Hrm, I suppose. I didn't expect you though. Though I think you'll be interested to hear this as well. I'm making my return to the official Rating Game." Raiser said. "My opponent has already been decided."
"Who is it?" Ravel asked.
"Must be someone big if it's hyping you up after your loss to Issei and I." Kenshin said crossing his arms.
"Shut up you!" Raiser shouted before clearing his throat. "For your information Kuroshi, it is someone big, it's the Emperor himself!"
"Really? ! Wow! I didn't think that would happen!" Ravel said with a surprised smile.
"A match against Diehauser Belial? Nice dude." Kenshin said giving him a thumbs up.
"I know right? It's an extraordinary honor. I've had bad luck since I lost to you and that Sekiryuutei kid, but a match against the Emperor himself, this is the ultimate opportunity. Though I doubt I can win, I'll be sure to put on a good show for the spectators and organizers and showcase my revival!" Raiser said.
"Ahahaha!" Ravel laughed. "Well then, I'll come and support you!"
"No, you should work hard with your studies. Rias is due to graduate soon right? Then your strength will be needed. Watch the recording afterward, it will be a good learning experience for you, Rias and your future husband."
Ravel blushed darkly at this. "M-Mou! Stop teasing me!"
"Hahahahaha, then how is it going between you and the Dragon of the Elements?" Raiser asked.
"Well, umm...it's..." Ravel was cut off by Kenshin pulling her to his side, making her blush darker.
"Don't worry Raiser. I'm taking good care of her." Kenshin said with a smile.
"I see." Raiser smiled back. "That's good. Please continue to do so."
"Hmn." Kenshin's smile widened as he kissed Ravel on the forehead. "Consider it done."
"Well then, I just wanted to check up on my sister. I apologize if it's early Ravel." Raiser said.
"It's a bit annoying, but it's fine." Ravel said.
"Alright, I'll be going." Raiser said as his image vanished.
"Kenshin-Sama...are you really satisfied with me?" Ravel asked, looking up at him.
"Hm." Kenshin leaned down and kissed her on the lips. "Does that answer your question Ravel?"
"Hmn..." Ravel smiled. "Yes...can I...snuggle with you tonight?" She asked with a blush.
Kenshin chuckled as he pulled her onto her bed. "What answer were you expecting other than Yes?"
"Hahaha." Ravel laughed as she was pulled into Kenshin's embrace, before pulling him into a kiss.
"Mmm..." Kenshin kissed her back and smiled as they parted. "You're a sweet girl Ravel."
"I'm glad you think so, Kenshin-Sama." Ravel smiled back as she laid her head on his chest. "Good night, my darling dragon."
"Good night to you as well, my precious phoenix." Kenshin said.
"!" He heard a gasp come out of Ravel, but then felt her cuddle herself further against him. "Hmm..." Kenshin wrapped his arms around her, and even went as far as to pat her head from behind.
"Mhmhm~!" Ravel reacted by giggling, holding Kenshin tighter.

The Next day.
Kenshin was summoned to Lilith. In front of him was Sirzechs and Lord Bael. Sirzechs sent a sidelong glare at his uncle as Kenshin scowled. "What do you want?" Kenshin sneered.
"Watch your tone boy." Lord Bael said only to have Kenshin's scowl deepen further. "What? You don't like to be called boy? Are you insulted?"
"Hrmph...I am no boy." Kenshin snarled. "I am your equal in all but name."
"Or so you say." Lord Bael said. "Come, it's time for your presentation." Lord Bael said as Kenshin and Sirzechs both followed him.
Kenshin looked at Sirzechs, only to receive a regretful look in response. "Tch." Kenshin growled in response, but understood.
Sirzechs reached over and grabbed Kenshin's wrist. "?" Kenshin looked over at him. 'I'm sorry.' Sirzechs mouthed.
"..." Kenshin closed his eyes and mouthed back. 'I know.'
The three of them walked into the council chambers, taking their respective places. "So, as we agreed on, you killed your clan off to prove your innocence?" Lord Bael asked.
"Yes..." Kenshin said, pulling out two scrolls. He rolled them out and made a handsign. Out popped the corpse of RyuuTaisho, as well as the charred corpse of Aki.
"What happened to her?" Lord Bael asked pointing at Aki.
"In order to put her down, my sister Yukari had to use a technique to roast her alive." Kenshin said with his eyes closed.
"Hm...unfortunate." Lord Bael said. "You punished your kin for their actions against us, very well you are absolved. What about the rest?"
"I asked the angels to burn the bodies." Kenshin said glancing at him.
"Very well, then let's be thorough." Lord Bael said before blasting the corpses with his destruction magic.
"? ! !" Kenshin's eyes widened in shock, but his eyes quickly narrowed in anger as there was nothing left of RyuuTaisho and Aki's corpses. "What the hell? ! I only had to present the bodies!"
"What?" Lord Bael asked with a smirk. "Now that Shinigami can't resurrect them ever again."
"You son of a bitch." Kenshin growled. "I was going to bury them and seal off the graves when I built my house!"
"Well, look at it this way, I just saved you the trouble of digging the holes." Lord Bael said.
"!" Kenshin raised his fist, intent on decking Lord Bael in the teeth. "Kenshin!" Sirzechs said.
"Oh my, Lord Kuroshi is so violent."
"He's really just going to haul off and hit the Leader of the Great King Faction?"
"Lord Lucifer, he's your pawn, control him. We can't have such violence in the council chambers."
"No, come on...Lord Kuroshi...show us what an unruly, savage brute you are." Lord Bael sneered.
Kenshin glanced around. Those who were members of the Great King Faction looked at him in vehemence while the rest. Zeoticus, Lord Sitri, Lord Phenex and Lady Agares notably felt sorry for him, or seemed torn. He last glanced at Sirzechs and the other Satans, then thought of Alice, Theodora, Kurt, Seras and Ricardo. "..." Kenshin's left hand grabbed his right wrist and forced it downward. "Am...I done here...?" Kenshin said with his eyes closed.
"Hmhm...yes, I suppose that is enough." Lord Bael said with a smirk.
"If you'll excuse me, Lords Lucifer, Beelzebub and Asmodeus, and you as well Lady Leviathan, I'll be returning home." Kenshin said bowing toward Sirzechs, Ajuka, Falbium and Serafall.
"Ok L-Lord Kuroshi." Serafall said, a sorrowful look in her eyes.
Kenshin turned to walk away, but was cut off by Lord Bael saying. "Let this be a lesson to you boy. To stop affronting us."
"..." Kenshin's right eye flashed gold for a moment, and this wasn't lost on Sirzechs. "I will get you back for this...I don't know how yet, but I will..." Kenshin said looking back at Lord Bael before walking away.
"Petulant child." Lord Bael scoffed.
"No..." Sirzechs said.
"No?" Lord Bael said.
"Uncle, you have no idea how close you came to death just now." Sirzechs said. "If Kenshin punched you just now, he'd have blown your head clean off." He looks around. "You all underestimate how strong Lord Kuroshi truly is, and you know who you are."
"Is that a threat, nephew?" Lord Bael asked.
"No, merely a warning." Sirzechs said. "Eventually Lord Kuroshi will grow weary of being treated like a lesser being despite being one of the Underworld's heroes, I just hope you're ready for that." Sirzechs said before getting up. "Oh and I will be notifying Lord Zekram of this." He turned to walk away. "This meeting is adjourned."
"Yeah, stop bullying Kenshin-Chan!" Serafall shouted as she and the other Satans followed Sirzechs out.
"Was that wise Sirzechs?" Ajuka asked.
"Provoking your uncle seems...foolish." Falbium said.
"I'm not provoking him. I was merely telling the truth. Kenshin has earned his place in the Underworld. Zekram-Sama agrees with me on this." Sirzechs said. "Plus...I'm really getting tired of taking his shit. We've all been doing everything we can for the Underworld's future, yet the Great King Faction still opposes us."
"Yeah, it feels like nothing we do matters." Serafall said with a downcast look. "I'm sure Kenshin-Chan feels the same way."
Ajuka let out a sigh. "I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel the same."
"Yeah..." Falbium let out a yawning sigh. "Lord Bael just wants the power, it's like he doesn't care about the Underworld itself."

Later.
"He did what?" Zekram asked.
"He destroyed the corpses of Kenshin's grandparents right in front of Kenshin." Sirzechs said.
"Krh..." Zekram growled. "Why does he insist on provoking him?"
"I don't know, but Kenshin has already sworn vengeance on him." Sirzechs said. "Also, you asked us to lead the Underworld, but your clan head's actions prevent us from doing that."
"Haa...I know. I promise I'm doing something about it." Zekram said.
"Well tell Kenshin that." Sirzechs said. "I just got a call from my father that he arrived at the Gremory household before I contacted you. Apparently it was at my mother's request."
"I see." Zekram said. "I'll be there shortly."
"Hrmn..." Sirzechs said
"What is it?" Zekram asked.
"Serafall and I will come as well." Sirzechs said.
"I don't need an escort, but do as you wish." Zekram said as the call ended. He vanished away from the room he was in and appeared in front of the Gremory Estate. Sirzechs and Serafall appeared behind him at his sides. They made their way insides and saw Kenshin speaking with Zeoticus, Venerana and Rias. There was also Alice who Zekram didn't readily recognize. Kenshin's eyes landed on Zekram and he immediately scowled. "Lord Kuroshi, I understand you're angry."
"Then you also understand that you're one of the last people I wanna see right now." Kenshin said.
"He will be punished for his actions against you." Zekram said.
Kenshin nodded sarcastically. "Sure he will."
"You don't believe me?" Zekram asked.
"Of course not." Kenshin said. "You haven't done much to convince me otherwise."
"Did you forget my current Lord is being forced to tutor his second son to take his place." Zekram asked.
"After he tried to have me assassinated in Makai, I didn't forget." Kenshin said. "That's the much. Zekram. I view that as a smack on the wrist."
"Hrm..." Zekram grunted.
"Also, how the hell are these two supposed to do their job with your faction constantly getting in their way." Kenshin said. "I get you only see them as symbols but come on, why even have them take the original Satans place if you're not going to let them lead?"
"You think I don't allow them to lead?" Zekram asked.
"The Grigori, Heaven, Makai, hell even Mundus Magicus' leaders are better supported than the Satans." Kenshin said.
"..." Zekram glanced back at Sirzechs.
"I mean I know Sirzechs has got to be tired of taking shit from his Uncle. It's probably also no wonder Serafall spends her free time making a tv show, Ajuka and his games, and Falbium, doing whatever he does. They're all probably tired of the council's shit" Kenshin said before closing his eyes. "Anyway, we're getting off topic...as for any apology you have for me, take it and shove it."
"Honored Ancestor, I think his gripes are valid, but I understand your position as well." Venerana said.
Rias stepped forward and nodded. "I may be seen as biased, but considering all Kenshin's done for the Underworld, even having died once defending it, one would think the council would respect him more."
"Excuse me." Everyone looked over to see Alice slithering forward.
"Who are you?" Zekram asked politely.
"This lamia is actually the Sixteenth Queen of Makai." Serafall introduced.
"!" Zekram schooled his features. "I...see."
"Thank you for the introduction Lady Leviathan." Alice said before turning to Zekram. "My alliance your world has with mine is directly tied to Kenshin."
"Why would you tie your alliance to one man's whims?" Zekram asked.
"It was because of Kenshin that Demon King Forbesii is no longer in power and the Tsurugi no Kami is in Kenshin's safekeeping. He saved Makai from a tyrant." Alice said. "He is basically the next king of Makai in all but name, he's exalted in my world, among other things."
"What other things, and if your world is safe what are you doing here?" Zekram asked.
"I can trust my council to act in my stead." Alice said. "Also, as you can see, I am currently expecting."
"...Lord Kuroshi is the father isn't he?" Zekram asked.
"Indeed." Alice said. "Your clan's current head tried to have him killed during the Youkai Revolution. Strike One. He destroyed the remains of his grandparents...and I know that devils don't leave corpses behind when you pass on, but we youkai do and it's sacred that we lay the remains to rest. Strike Two. If there is a third. Kenshin has my blessing to mobilize my armies."
"Hrmn..." Zekram grunted. "Very well, something will be done, trust me."
"Zekram, understand that I do not wish to go to war so it will take a lot to force my hand." Kenshin said.
"Very well, you have my thanks for your patience." Zekram said before turning to leave. "Let me deal with my clan's head."
"Very well." Kenshin said.
Zekram left the room via teleportation. "Kenshin, if you won't accept his apology then allow me to extend mine. I shouldn't have allowed that to happen." Sirzechs said with his eyes closed.
"It's fine." Kenshin said. "Like I said, how can you be expected to lead when you're being undermined...and he only views you four as symbols, if he wants me to be a Satan some shit will have to change, or I'll be more than happy to accompany Serafall on her diplomat trips and nothing else." Kenshin turned to Rias. "Come on, let's go home."
"Yes." Rias nodded.
Kenshin paused for a moment. "Do you know what he called you, your uncle anyway during the meeting in which he put me up to presenting their corpses?"
"I can imagine, but go ahead." Sirzechs said with his eyes closed.
"A mudblood. Venerana's mudblood son." Kenshin said.
"..." If Sirzechs was affected by this, he didn't show it.
"Maybe it's because I had an extended family that cared about me, but that is something family should never say about, or to family." Kenshin said letting out a sigh. "If you need help dealing with the Great King Faction politically I'll support you. If they lose me, they lose three different factions. If nothing else if the council is committed to peace, they'll stop fucking with me."
"How do you mean Kenshin-Chan?" Serafall asked.
"The council does hold, council only meetings and in every single one, I've tried suggesting things that I think would be for the betterment of our faction. For example, there are those who are still traumatized from the attack on the capitol by the Jabberwocky and the Bandersnatch. I proposed that we set aside funding to allow these people and others to seek counseling for their PTSD among other things. Ya know what the Great King Faction did? They laughed me out of the room, saying these people are devils and should be able to take care of themselves."
"Hrm..." Sirzechs narrowed his eyes in thought.
"Sadly, this is true. I was at that meeting." Zeoticus said.
"Sirzechs." Kenshin said. "I have to ask...are you a leader...or a figurehead?"
"..." Sirzechs went silent for a moment before asking. "Why do you ask?"
"Because I'm not asking you...it's a question you should be asking yourself." Kenshin said as Alice joined him and Rias. "You're strong Sirzechs, the strongest Devil I get not wanting to be a tyrant, but you shouldn't let them walk all over you...this goes for you too Serafall, and Ajuka and Falbium." He said as the three disappeared
"..." Sirzechs was silent.
"Kenshin-Chan..." Serafall said, her hands over her chest, her eyes closed. "Is he...disappointed in us?"
"I don't think that's the case." Zeoticus answered making them look up at him. "You two. I do think you've been lenient with the council. I think Kenshin doesn't get why the Great King Faction is a thing, if you're supposed to be the Leaders of the Devils."
"I...I guess." Serafall said.
"Don't Serafall...I mean you're in love with him, and the Great King Faction is more my problem." Sirzechs said with a weary sigh.
"Yeah, but...I'm worried about you too Sirzechs-Chan...and I know your parents, Gray-Chan, Ria-Chan and Kenshin-Chan are too. That's why he said what he said." Serafall said with a smile, squeezing his shoulder.
Sirzechs closed his eyes and smiled. "Thanks, everyone..." Sirzechs turned around. "Kenshin...I promise I will show you how a better leader looks." He thought.

Meanwhile with Zekram.
Zekram was sitting in his office when the door opened behind him. "You wanted to see me Honored Ancestor?" He turned to see Lord Bael entering
"Sit down." Zekram firmly said.
Lord Bael felt unnerved as he sat down across from Zekram. "Is everything alright?"
"It's come to my attention that you destroyed the remains of Lord Kuroshi's grandparents when he presented them to you." Zekram stated.
"Yes? They were just a pair of corpses, what's the pr-"
"The problem is that youkai take it very personally when they can't lay their loved ones to rest, and you had no permission to do that." Zekram said. "Nor would I allow such a thing."
"Why are you favoring him? !" Lord Bael asked.
"Do not raise your voice at me boy, when you were clearly in the wrong!" Zekram shouted.
"!" Lord Bael shirked back.
"You may not be privy to this, but the Demon Queen of Makai herself is enamored with Lord Kuroshi, to the point she is bearing his children." Zekram said. "Continuing to provoke Lord Kuroshi means risking war with all of the Demon world of Makai. Not to mention his former homeworld seems to favor him now as well."
"Tch, we can-" Lord Bael said only to be cut off.
"We cannot, Kenshin has been proven to be able to hang with Super Devils such as Rizevim Rivan Lucifer and Lord Lucifer himself...and honestly I don't like how you've been undermining the current Satans either. You know your place. Lord Kuroshi promised me he wouldn't act unless it was something absolutely major, so I implore you...please, just stop."
"Hrm..." Lord Bael closed his eyes. "Very well, but understand I can't control our faction entirely either Honored Ancestor."
"I understand that and if any part of our faction acts out of line it will be investigated. On this I will help you as you tutor Magdaran, understand as long as you behave, you can take your time tutoring him. It will give him a chance to enjoy his life and his hobby in botany." Zekram said before leaning back in his chair. "Now go."
"Very well." Lord Bael said getting up and walking out of the office. He growled under his breath as he left. "That brat has enough pull to give Zekram-Sama pause? Unbelievable."

With Azazel
Azazel was sitting at a stream in a remote countryside holding a fishing rod, though he enjoyed fishing, he didn't feel like fishing right now.
He had heard about what happened to Kenshin, as well as Alice's declaration that if the Great King Faction kept provoking Kenshin, she'd have no problem's lending the armies of Makai to him. Though thankfully Zekram had worked damage control and Kenshin kept somewhat of a level head. Saying it'd basically take something unforgivable to force his hand. Kenshin has charisma and strength, but he's still learning what it means to be a faction leader."
"You don't like fishing?" Sitting next to him was a boy with green and black hair holding a fishing rod with a slight smile, he looked to be fourteen or fifteen, but Azazel knew better than to assume. "Don't get me wrong, I do, I'm just not feeling it tonight." Azazel said.
"Eh, my enthusiasm faded, but long ago I once had enthusiasm." The boy said with a bitter smile.
"I don't get it, why fish here? I don't see any fish." Azazel thought.
"You were once known as the most sinister of all Fallen Angels back in your heyday, leading them to the best of your ability, now you're spreading peace. It sounds like a joke, if Indra knew would he laugh or smile and say something?" The boy pondered.
"There's only one thing I wished to ask you. If and when it happens, can you please stop the beast?"
The boy was slightly taken aback by this. "Trihexa, is that alright? Asking someone not of your mythology to handle that divine beast? The Primordial of Corruption was it?"
"If he gets out, I fear the only one who can stop him is you." Azazel said.
"Ophis is not here, or rather she's weakened, Great Red won't do it, so the only one left is me hm?" The boy said with a smirk. "Still isn't it the Primordials job to deal with the beast?"
"One stands in open opposition to us two are in the Tsurugi no Kami, the owner of the sword being afflicted with Trihexa's curse, the other's power slowly draining away. We're not tracking the whereabouts of her counterpart, as you said Ophis is weakened and Great Red either won't or can't. I have my suspicions on whether or not Trihexa and Great Red's clash would destroy everything right away."
"And your two young dragons with the ability to communicate?" The boy said, smiling wryly.
"Even if it were possible, I don't want to use them. There's no telling what could happen." Azazel said.
"These really are unreasonable negotiations The request and conditions are too unreasonable." The boy said.
"...I know that. This boy...this god is not a person like me. I understood that, but I still came to ask." Azazel thought.
"If there is anything you want, if it is within my power, I'll satisfy your request, I'll even ask Odin and Zeus too, even my own life doesn't matter, I'd give it to you. I only need to stop the destruction of the worlds."
"No need, Whether Odin or Zeus, your life? I have no interest. If there was something I wanted it would be Ophis, or rare cases like Sirzechs Lucifer, Ajuka Beelzebub, or even your three dragons. I want someone who can pose a threat to me, Fallen Angel-San.
"..." Azazel merely stared at him wide eyed. "He thinks Kenshin, Issei and Vali are threats?"
The boy smiled mischievously. "Relax, I'm joking. An incomplete Ophis and a devil who has no will to fight doesn't interest me, though...that bit about your dragons. They're not threats yet. The Niitenryuu's hosts have yet to truly realize their potential and the outlier between them is merely an infant dragon god when at his strongest." The boy got up. "I'll do it, but understand that I do not care about Rizevim Livan Lucifer or the Evil dragons. I only step in if worst comes to worst."
