135. The Imperial Beast

Draconis: Issei, I'll give your battle with Apophis it's due appreciation, but I gotta do something first.

Issei: Eh, hey just give me my time.

Draconis: Thanks man, what I'm doing will actually tie into your battle, as they're happening at the same time.

Issei: Oh cool. So Kenshin and I are kicking ass at the same time?

The Imperial Beast.

Draconis: Begin!

Kenshin had just ended his call with Vali when the dragon body of Trihexa began to move violently. "!" Kenshin's eyes widened. "Tamamo..."

"R-Right!" Tamamo said forming a handsign, closing her eyes. "Are you sure you can handle this though Kenshin?"

"I have to be able to. Trust me Tamamo, Rose." He said trying to comfort Rossweisse who was no doubt worried and scared as Trihexa still budged and moved. "Damn you, stop moving!" He yelled. "Accept your fate and go back into your seal!"

Suddenly a crimson orb shot out of the back of the dragon Trihexa's neck. "!" Kenshin's eyes widened. "TAMAMO NOW! !" He shouted as he took off after the orb.

"!" Tamamo's eyes widened as she unbinded Kenshin's Malak seal once more.

"Grrrhhhh!" Kenshin growled as he pursued Trihexa, not giving an inch as the orb shot toward an uninhabited island. Kenshin glanced over and saw Issei had confronted Apophis on a similar uninhabited island. Kenshin's gold eyes glew as he glared at the figure that emerged from the orb.

The figure had ten horns on it's head and sprouted six wings from it's back, ones of a bird, dragon, bat, and other creatures Kenshin didn't recognize.

"Partner...from what Ddraig's telling me...that's him." Yuurei said.

"I already figured." Kenshin said.

What struck Kenshin as peculiar however...was that the overall figure of Trihexa's core, was that of a young boy wreathed in light. "..." Kenshin stepped forward. "Ain't any chance I could talk you into not going after Great Red is there?"

"..." Trihexa shook his head. "This world...all worlds will fall."

"I was afraid you'd say that." Kenshin sighed. "I was willing to let you stay out or alive if you laid down arms."

"You'd murder a mere child?" Trihexa asked, his tone laced with amusement.

"What's one more nightmare to a guy like me?" Kenshin asked. "That said. I know that's not a child, he only chooses to wear the guise of one...and I also know you're only possessing that body, Imperial Beast."

"Oh?" Trihexa asked. "And how did you come by such inform-" Trihexa paused before nodding. "Ahhh, I see...Yahweh contacted you at some point."

"He showed me how his body was destroyed so he could put himself in stasis in his sword." Kenshin said.

"A shrewd maneuver." Trihexa said. "With his power, I could have laid this world low, even while sealed."

"..." Kenshin closed his eyes. "There is no talking you down, you've probably completely squelched the Primordial of Reality." Kenshin let out a sigh and took out Angel Halo and Shiroi Tengoku.

"Hmm..." Trihexa nodded before smiling condescendingly. "I admire your tenacity, Kuroshi Tsuki Kenshin."

"?" Kenshin narrowed his eyes. "You know my name?"

"I do...I know all of those burdened with the Curse of Primordials." Trihexa said.

"..." Kenshin let this information sink in before exhaling a breath he didn't realize he was holding. "...My only curse is YOU!"

"!" Trihexa looked up as Kenshin appeared above him.

"Heavenly Demon Revival!" Kenshin roared slashing Angel Halo downward.

"Hrm." Trihexa lifted his hand and created a barrier, completely nullifying Kenshin's attack.

"Wh-What? !" Kenshin said.

"I was handling other gods with ease Kenshin, you really think a demigod would do me in?" Trihexa said while throwing Kenshin back.

Kenshin looked down at Angel Halo. "Heinrich, this blade might not be strong enough to seal him, even if it's temporary."

"That had crossed my mind..." Heinrich grunted. "Still we have to kee- LOOK OUT!"

"? !" Kenshin looked up, seeing a massive fireball rushing after him. "Hrrggh!" He growled as he slashed upward with both swords. "Grrrhhhhh! !" He roared and sent the fireball skyward, losing his grip on both Angel Halo and Shiroi Tengoku, flinging them both backward.

"Partner, look out!" Yuurei shouted.

"? !" Kenshin glanced down, his arms still up in the air and even burned moderately as Trihexa appeared in front of him.

"You were better off dodging." Trihexa said stabbing him through the abdomen with one of his hands that he had transformed into a dragon's hand.

"Gulh!" Kenshin's mouth filled with blood which he spit out. "Now you see you think that..."

(clench!)

"!" Trihexa's arm was gripped tightly as Kenshin looked down at him.

"Please, you think you're the first one to try and sneak me?" Kenshin asked with a smirk as he raised his other arm which was covered in the elements. "A barrier at this range is impossible..." He launched his fist toward Trihexa's face, slamming it across his face. "Hrrggh!" He quickly brought his arm back, slamming his elbow against Trihexa's other cheek, before releasing the Beast's arm to uppercut him.

Trihexa landed a short distance away. "Haa..." Kenshin sighed out. "Was he trying to infect me with the Curse of Corruption?" Kenshin said to himself as he regenerated his wound and called his swords back to his side.

"...So soft..."

"!" Kenshin looked up, seeing Trihexa standing, smiling coyly.

"I expected more from a fellow Primordial." Trihexa said.

"K-Krrrhhh..." Kenshin growled before rushing Trihexa, slashing Angel Halo against Trihexa's barrier.

"Kenshin...you really think you were doing damage to me earlier?" Trihexa asked. "Please...I wasn't even taking you seriously."

Kenshin smirked "Then what was that bit about teaching me a lesson in respect earlier?"

"Heh, you see...that lesson begins now!" Trihexa said.

"!" Kenshin was blown backward by a blast of Trihexa's mana. "!" He looked up seeing Trihexa baring down on him, slamming his foot into Kenshin's chest, dragging him across the sand.

Once they stopped. Trihexa grabbed Kenshin by the hair and lifted him up. "You hold yourself back for the sake of that island back there you're defending? Pathetic." He backhanded Kenshin a couple of times.

"G-Grrrhh!" Kenshin growled. "I wouldn't expect someone who only knows how to destroy to understand." He sent a punch at Trihexa's face only for the beast to grab his wrist, halting it's advance entirely. "Grhh! Rrgh!" Kenshin tried to jerk his arm free to no avail. "I won't...let you...destroy my home!"

"You won't let me?" Trihexa asked with an amused smile. "What can you do to stop me?"

"Well...I'll start by doing this!" Kenshin said slashing his free hand upward, wielding an unsheathed Shiroi Tengoku, slicing his hand off.

"Hm?" Trihexa looked at the hand in his own hand, before looked at Kenshin who already regrew his dismembered hand. "That's an impressive regenerative ability you have there...still.."

"!" Kenshin's eyes widened as Trihexa appeared in front of Kenshin, slamming his fist into Kenshin's chest.

"I was sealed for countless years. You really think I slept all that time? My Imperial Beast body did, but what you see in front of you did not!" Trihexa said smacking Kenshin to the left, diving toward Kenshin who looked up wide eyed.

Trihexa punched Kenshin square on top of the head, cratering him into the sand. "G-Gaahh!" He felt himself being grabbed by the hair again and thrown skyward. "What's going on? ! I should at least be able to resist him!" He thought.

"Hrrmn!" Trihexa swung his leg into Kenshin's stomach, making him cough out blood. Trihexa leaned in close and whispered in Kenshin's ear. "I obsessed over the day someone would be foolish enough to free me and your lot pushed him into a corner for me. The fool!" Trihexa lurched his leg forward and sent Kenshin flying further skyward. Trihexa appeared behind Kenshin and drove his hands into Kenshin's lower spine.

"Guah? ! !" Kenshin spat out more blood before being sent crashing into the sandy dunes below.

Trihexa landed across from him and smiled softly. "Kenshin Kuroshi...you had the confidence and guts to face me, and for that you've earned my respect. It's much more than anyone other than Yahweh and Great Red ever did."

"G-Grrhh!" Kenshin climbed back to his feet, scowling at Trihexa. "I don't give a damn about your respect...you still seek to destroy everything...I won't let that happen! Even if it KILLS ME!"

"And that's just the thing...it will kill you." Trihexa said.

"Not if we have anything to say about it." Kenshin said as he cast Angel Halo and Shiroi Tengoku away, before pulling out a familiar weapon box. "I'm sorry Michael but he demanded to be here."

"Ah?" Trihexa looked on in interest as Kenshin pulled the Tsurugi no Kami from the box before casting it away, back to the Hyoudou Residence. "Yahweh's sword..." Trihexa smiled deviously. "Interesting Kuroshi Tsuki Kenshin. You really think it will give you an advantage here?"

"Who knows?" Kenshin said with a smirk. "Still, against you I got to pull out all the stops! Flash Kill!" He shouted as he flashed by Trihexa cutting him across the chest. Kenshin looked back and saw the blood. "Finally! I got him!"

Trihexa suddenly smirked looking back at Kenshin. "How long it's been since I felt this pain!" Trihexa said before appearing before Kenshin, punching him in the face.

"Gah!" Kenshin's eyes watered as Trihexa broke his nose, an uncontrollable response. He looked up, feeling a threat from Undine's powers and raised the Tsurugi no Kami to defend against Trihexa. "Grrrhhhhh!"

"That water spirit's power is really helpful, mind if I steal her?" Trihexa said thrusting his hand at Kenshin's chest.

"Yume Shouheki!" Kenshin shouted, both his eyes glowing.

"Hm?" Trihexa said as Kenshin drove him back. "You have Great Red's power?"

"That's none of your fucking business! I'm not letting you take any of them! !" Kenshin said as he punches Trihexa, only for the beast to stab his hands into Kenshin's stomach. "Kulh!"

"Ahh..I see...you lost your own flesh so you were gifted a new body by Great Red and Ophis." Trihexa said. "He made the body while Ophis supplied the mana. That's how this body and soul was accelerated into this state, despite needing years to come to it."

"Krrhhh!" Kenshin growled.

"Well then, I guess I should destroy you, eliminating a Primordial, but also one who has Great Red's flesh!" Trihexa said

(clench!)

"? !" Trihexa's eyes widened as Kenshin's hands gripped both sides of his head "Eh?"

"Salamander...give...me...EVERYTHING!" Kenshin said.

"!" Trihexa's eyes widened as Kenshin's hands heated up immensely.

"Are you sure about this though, my maximum heat is very intense!" Salamander asked.

"I'll endure it, just keep charging it through my arms!" Kenshin thought.

"This heat...!" Trihexa said as Kenshin's hands were surrounded in fire.

"Yeah! Experience the maximum output of the flames of Salamander! The flames of the world! The flames of life!" Kenshin roared

"Focus it!" Salamander shouts.

The flames surrounding Trihexa's head and Kenshin's hands slowly turned blue, then to white. "Fire Spirit's Prominence!"

(boom!)

Trihexa's head exploded in a white hot blaze, when the smoke cleared his head was gone and Kenshin's hands were burnt severely. Still he picked up the Tsurugi no Kami as Trihexa's headless body fell to the ground. "Haa...haa..." Kenshin panted, looking down at the blade. "I'm sorry. I know you wanted Zen alive, but...I had to make a judgment call. If it's between him and the world. I'm picking the world." Kenshin said with a sad look, glancing back at Trihexa's headless body, crossing his free arm, which was still heavily burnt over his abdomen which still held stab wounds from Trihexa among other injuries

"Partner? Are you OK?" Yuurei asked.

"Contrary to popular belief my healing factor has a limit. Whenever that bastard hit me, it felt like he was hitting my soul." Kenshin said as he staggered away from Trihexa. "Haa...haa...haa..." He panted. "At least...it's over."

The Tsurugi no Kami jerked Kenshin's sword arm backward. "What the? ! Calm down it's ov-!" Kenshin was fully turned around and looked up...and was utterly horrified at what he saw.

Zen's, or Trihexa's body was slowly rising up, it's neck muscles pulsated before shooting outward as a new skull slowly form, the muscles forming around it.

"No..." Kenshin said with wide eyes. "NOOOOO!" He rushed Trihexa, swinging the Tsurugi no Kami wildly into his body. "I WON'T LET YOU COME BACK! !"

"You don't have...a choice."

"? !" Kenshin crossed his arms as Trihexa slugged him backward. "!" He panted and growled as Trihexa's head fully regenerated.

"Aah...that was bracing." Trihexa said.

"Grhhh..." Kenshin growled.

"Come now Kenshin." Trihexa mocked. "Did you think the maximum power of ONE creation of ONE Primordial would be enough to kill me? ! No...you've only succeeded in enraging me!"

"Guah? !" Kenshin's eyes turned to all white as Trihexa slammed his fist into his gut. Trihexa was on top of him in a second, slamming his fists over and over again across Kenshin's face.

"Grrhh! Get off of me!" Kenshin roared throwing Trihexa off of him. "You...corrupt beast...like I said before...I won't...let you...destroy my world...my home." Kenshin said panting heavily.

"And like I said...you don't have a choice." Trihexa said.

"Kenshin, you have to get out of here!" Undine said. "He'll kill you at this rate!"

"I hate to admit it Kenshin, but she's right!" Salamander said. "You've got backup on the way, maybe the Primordial legend isn't true! Maybe more than the Primordials are needed, you don't need to do this by yourself!"

"Please Kenshin-Chan, don't die here! Please stay with us! !" Sylph cried.

"Kenshin, please don't go again, it hurt so much the first time." Gnome said.

"..." Kenshin closed his eyes with a smile. "Sylph, Gnome, Undine, Salamander. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything, but I simply can't do that." His eyes opened back up to glare fiercely at Trihexa, swinging the Tsurugi no Kami against his arm. "G-Grrrhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Kenshin growled.

"What was that smile just now? Resigning yourself to death?" Trihexa asked.

"Heh! Not at all!" Kenshin smirked. "I've literally had millions of people try to kill me! You think I'm folding to some brat with a self destruction problem? !"

"Self destruction problem?" Trihexa said.

"You destroy this universe and the universe Rizevim found. What's next?" Kenshin said.

"Such a silly question. I'll keep searching for more universes to destroy." Trihexa said.

"Krrrrrhhhh!" Kenshin slashed Trihexa away. "You four. There's one thing I neglected to mention, and that is...I'm not going anywhere. My promise to you, to everyone still stands!" He thought before shouting at Trihexa. "You'll only be destroying everything over my dead body!"

"That's the idea!" Trihexa said leaping forward, stabbing his hand at Kenshin's neck.

"Krrrh!" Kenshin blocked his stab and rounded it over his head. Trihexa stabbed his free hand at Kenshin's heart.

(clench!)

Kenshin interlocked his own free hand with Trihexa's and smirked. "Heh! I might be weaker than you, but I'm not folding here, not here or ever!"

"Grhhh!" Trihexa felt himself being driven backward. "What drives you? !"

"If you knew anything more about me than my name, you'd already know that!" Kenshin shouted as the Tsurugi no Kami burned brightly with flames surrounding it. "Katensho!"

"Gruuuaaahhh!" Trihexa cried out in pain as he was blown away.

"Haa...haaa..haa..haa.." Kenshin panted.

"Kenshin, did you really mean that?" Undine asked.

"Yeah, I'm not going anywhere if I can help it." Kenshin thought. "I don't care about what I said earlier."

"Heh, I should have known you wouldn't leave us willingly." Salamander said.

"You really scared me there Kenshin-Chan!" Sylph cried.

"..." Gnome looked at Kenshin in indifference.

"I know Gnome. I'll make it up to you...to al-"

(Squelch!)

"Aagh...? !" Kenshin looked down, seeing a hand stabbed into his stomach. He looked up, seeing Trihexa's face.

"Take my corruption." Trihexa said with a cruel smile.

"Grh!" Kenshin sliced Trihexa's hand off and ripped it out of his stomach. "I don't...think so..."

"Hahaha..." Trihexa laughed. "I have to ask, Kenshin Tsuki Kuroshi...what exactly is it that keeps you going?"

"Hrn?" Kenshin grunted.

"Come on, it can't just be those pathetic mortals you've tied yourself down to." Trihexa said with a snide chuckle.

"Grrrhhhhh...!" Kenshin growled.

"Oh?" Trihexa said, seeing Kenshin's aura build.

"Don't you DARE call them pathetic!" Kenshin snarled.

"Hrn!" Trihexa blocked another flame infused slash from Kenshin. "But isn't that exactly what they are? Pathetic short existences that will never live as long as us Primordials?"

"Grrrrrhhhhhh!" Kenshin growled angrily. "I told you...to SHUT THE FUCK UP!" He shouted blasting Trihexa with an enormous Katensho.

"Grraaauuuaaaahh!" Trihexa roared out.

Kenshin looked around. "Where is everyone? Someone should have come as backup by now?"

A communication circle opened up, but it came out extremely fuzzy. "Ken...there's a...rrier..ar...und you...!"

Kenshin recognized this as Setsuna's voice. "Setsuna, repeat that! I didn't...!" Kenshin held the Tsurugi no Kami in defense as Trihexa exploded from the smoke of Kenshin's attack and slashed down at him.

"Aah, so they found out about the barrier, how nice." Trihexa said as Kenshin blocked with the Tsurugi no Kami.

"Barrier?" Kenshin growled.

"Don't you get it? I surrounded us in a barrier the moment we both landed on this island. I figured I'd give you a sporting chance, but oh, how you woefully disappoint." Trihexa said.

Instead of getting angry, Kenshin smirked. "I disappoint do I? Well I haven't even used my strongest attack yet."

"Hm? !" Trihexa's eyes widened in interest. "What did you just say? You've been holding back?"

"Not necessarily, it takes a literal minute to charge up. You'd have been on me way before it was ready." Kenshin said. "Great Red was able to tank a more powerful version of it, how bout you?"

"I see, you're trying to goad him into challenging your attack!" Yuurei said.

"Great Red was able to withstand a more powerful version of your strongest attack? Then why not use that?" Trihexa asked.

"Because it requires something I no longer have access to anymore." Kenshin said as he raised the Tsurugi no Kami skyward. "What do ya say, Imperial Beast. Do you want to challenge it, or do you just not have the balls?"

Trihexa smirked. "Cocky little youkai...alright Kenshin I'll play your little game."

Kenshin's smirk widened. "Yes! I have him right where I want him! I'm sorry you four, please bear with me!" He thought.

"Un!" Sylph said.

"Right." Gnome said.

"Like we've said..." Undine trailed off.

"We're with you till the end!" Salamander said.

"Right!" Kenshin thought. "Sylph!" Kenshin announced as wind surrounded the Tsurugi no Kami.

"Oh?" Trihexa said with his arms crossed.

"Gnome!" Kenshin announced as earth and dust joined the wind as the aura around the Tsurugi no Kami brightened.

"..." Trihexa started to glare as this happened.

"Undine!" Kenshin said as water began to spiral around the blade.

"Grrhh..." Trihexa growled.

"You're looking a little angry there." Kenshin said with a smirk. "Is it just anger, or are you scared?" Kenshin asked.

"Cocky little brat!" Trihexa shouted. "Come on!"

"AS YOU WISH!" Kenshin shouted. "Salamander!" Kenshin roared as flames wrapped around the blade, completing the technique. He shot toward Trihexa and slashed down at him.

"QUADRUPLE GIGA! !" Kenshin roared slashing Trihexa down the chest

(booooooommmm!)

"Haa...haaa...haaa...haaa..." Kenshin panted as the smoke cleared, he couldn't see anything of Trihexa left. He staggered backward as he held his torso again, still panting. "Take...that...you...fuck..." Kenshin said.

"Kenshin, are you OK?" Undine asked.

"I will be." Kenshin thought.

"Are you sure?" Sylph asked.

"I'm sure Sylph-Chan." Kenshin thought with a grin.

"Mmnn..." Gnome grabbed his hand.

"I'm OK Gnome. I'm not going anywhere." Kenshin thought

"Yeah! I can tell your spirit is burning bright!" Salamander said.

"Heh, damn right!" Kenshin said with a wide smirk. "...I don't feel him anymore...I'm just glad this is finally over." Kenshin thought as he turned away. "I guess I should go check on Issei."

"You think you're done here? How foolish!"

"? !" Kenshin's eyes widened as he turned back to see a small pod bubbling and growing larger. "..." Kenshin slowly shook his head back and forth as he slowly realized what was happening. "No...are you fucking kidding me? !"

(Rattle! Rattle!)

"? !" Kenshin looked down to see the Tsurugi no Kami shaking in his hand. He grabbed his wrist and confirmed what he already feared. The shaking was coming from him and not the blade.

"Did you really think you had what it took to kill me?" Trihexa asked as he reformed.

"No...NOOOOO! DAMN YOOOOOUUUUUU! ! !" Kenshin roared leaping toward Trihexa, slashing down at him.

At the same time.

With Issei

In order to chase after Apophis, who landed on an uninhabited island. Issei landed on it as well, standing upon a rock ridge. He turned toward a tan skinned youth, wearing vestments. He looked human but the aura he was unmistakably powerful.

Apophis smiled as he welcomed my arrival. "So, my opponent is you Sekiryuutei. Truly, a great honor." Apophis said.

"Yo, Apophis-San, you're supposed to be one of the strongest Evil Dragons, right?"

"Fufufu, well at the very least, I'm a lot stronger than that barbaric Grendel" Apophis said.

"And yet you cowered before Kenshin." Issei said.

Instead of getting angry, Apophis smirked. "He's a different type of beast, but not enough to take on Trihexa." Apophis said.

"Well this makes him easier to understand. He's as strong as a Super Devil." Issei thought. "Well I already understood that. He is an Evil Dragon on par with Crom Cruach."

He charged toward Apophis directly, firing out several Dragon Shots. Apophis held his hands out as they charged toward him. When they looked to make contact, an aura of darkness erupted from Apophis, swallowing up the Dragon Shots.

"Sensei has talked about this before. Apophis is able to manipulate darkness, He's able to to control the weather under the shade of darkness. I have to be on guard right now! That darkness just eliminated my Dragon Shot!" Issei thought.

"? !" Issei's eyes widened as aura's of darkness erupted around him. He flew upward to evade, but parts of his dragon wings touched the darkness and were melted as a response. "Holy shit! This darkness is able to dissolve it's opponents simply on contact? !" Issei thought. "Fuck it!" Issei launched a bombardment of Dragon Shots from the air.

To respond. Apophis conjured up darkness in front of himself and erased them all before calling forth a surge of darkness to surround Issei, firing projectiles from it. Issei dodged, but he noticed whatever those bullets hit dissolved what they hit. "Damn it, this is way beyond Grendel's level. Close quarters combat is impossible." He thought. "If my fist struck that, it'd probably be melted down to nothing."

Apophis seemed to laugh. "Our compatibility seems to be quite poor, Sekiryuutei."

"Yeah, well my compatibility with any technique types is pretty shitty." Issei griped.

"No no, that's not what I meant at all. What I'm saying is that our compatibility is quite poor. I'm also not very good at dealing with strong opponents who attack me directly." Apophis said. "Like if I were to take a hit from a strong punch, I'll definitely suffer a lot of damage. That's why I've got no choice but to use an ability like this, then counterattack."

"Huh...never thought I'd meet such a calm Evil Dragon...wait. Is that why you ran from Kenshin?"

"Well, while I also deeply and passionately enjoy fighting, when compared to brutal fellows like Grendel or Nidhoggr, I can't help but feel a little disappointed." Apophis said.

"You didn't answer my question." Issei said.

"Hrmn..." Apophis grunted. "Even though he's no match for Trihexa...Kenshin Tsuki Kuroshi has become an absolute monster, and I mean that in reference toward his strength. When he held me by the neck earlier...I felt it. The overwhelming feeling of his aura. That Demigod State he's in, is absolutely terrifying and he's already beaten a God with it, another Primordial at that."

"So is that to say you're scared of Kenshin?" Issei asked.

"My compatibility with him is even worse than my compatibility with you." Apophis said before clearing his throat. "Tell me, Current Sekiryuutei, Issei Hyoudou, are you interested in another world?"

"Already been to one, then it got brought to this world." Issei said. "Still, I guess you could say I'm interested, but I'm not interested in making a move on Great Red."

"I see, well it's only a matter of time after all." Apophis said placing his hand in front of his chest. "Well then, I offer my apologies, but please allow me a swift victory."

"? !" Issei's eyes widened as the surrounding area turned pitch black. "Wait, he's enclosing us in a barrier!" Issei thought.

"This is bad. Apophis wants to decide on the victor in one go." Ddraig said. "Everyone else is busy with the Evil Dragons and Kenshin's dealing with Trihexa."

"So what you're saying is we're on our own...Well fuck it!" Issei thought trying to fire a Dragon Shot at Apophis, but the barrier had already formed and the wall of darkness had already formed and eliminated Issei's attack.

"An island this small? It only takes me a few seconds for me to turn it into my world." Apophis said as his entire body gradually became enveloped in darkness. As if in response to the entire island being enshrouded by darkness, the darkness hovering around Apophis' body gradually began to expand and slowly change, forming a thin halo of light above which caused a solar eclipse. What appeared, obscuring the barrier that had formed was a completely black dragon, with gems in it's body releasing a silvery shimmering glow. It had three eyes on it's head, also releasing the same silver light.

"So this Apophis', the Eclipse Dragon's true form...shit...it's such a deadly aura, so different from Crom Cruach's.

"He's also trained to the same level as us." Ddraig said.

"Wait are you serious? !" Issei thought. "Then Kenshin should have challenged him instead? !"

"That would leave you challenging Trihexa and Kenshin's the strongest opponent for him right now." Ddraig said.

"Still...the only way I'm gonna beat this guy is with Dragon Deification, but if I do that again I could be unable to touch those things or I could die. Gah! Both of those choices are so annoying!" Issei thought. "Not being able to touch them is the same as being dead and if I'm dead I wouldn't be able to touch them anyway!" Issei thought before wincing in pain as it shot throughout his whole body. "!" Issei leaped upward as black water spewed from Apophis' mouth surrounded his feet.

Issei was curious however. "Why aren't you coming over to attack?" Issei asked.

"I know that you have an even stronger form, You're not going to use it?" Apophis asked. "At least the Dragon of the Elements brought out his strongest available form for Trihexa."

"He hasn't." Issei said.

"Eh?" Apophis said.

"The Dragon God of the Elements not only exhausted him, but the Yonseirei themselves." Issei said. "In exchange for the Demigod State always being active unless he seals it, I guess the Dragon God of the Elements form is unusable at this time or he hasn't figured it out like I have. He and the Spirits were both pretty frantic after having to fight Ragnarok, the Yonseirei's Dad."

"Aah, I see...inconvenient for him, not that the form would have helped at all against Trihexa." Apophis mused. "I can sense it even now. Trihexa's just playing with him."

"Tch!" Issei growled "So you're actually going to give me the time to transform?"

"I was allowed to create this field. I can wait for that much." Apophis said.

"This guy really is a strange Evil Dragon. He said he wanted to settle things quickly, yet here he is waiting for my transformation...under these circumstances?" Issei thought.

"You seem confused, I see this as a duel between dragons, do...you not see it that way? True I am in a hurry, but I don't want to spoil a once in a lifetime duel like this." Apophis said.

"I see...when he put's it that way...he's not so different from Crom Cruach, no matter how dangerous their thoughts and ideas might be, they still have their pride as dragons, a thing they will never throw away." Issei thought. "Could that be why Kenshin's challenging Trihexa? Didn't he say he wouldn't die over his pride? No, it's not over his pride, he's doing it to save the world." Issei thought. "I get it now, why guys like Apophis, Kenshin, Sairaorg, Kiba, Gasper, Saji, His Eminence Strada, and Crom Cruach were so strong, they are all honest to themselves and uphold their principals. Fuck it! I'll throw Yukari, Miyuki, Granberia and Evangeline in there too!" Issei hardened his gaze. "I won't use Dragon Deification, just like my brother in all but blood is doing, but I will go all out!" Issei shouted.

"I see, then let's go!" Apophis said.

"Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! Boost! ! !"

Issei rushed forward, gathering boosts, firing out Dragon Shots which were engulfed and swallowed by the darkness covering Apophis' body. "Ascalon!"

"Blade!"

"Haaa! Give it to Ascalon!" Issei shouted as he slashed down at Apophis with his bladed gauntlet, transferring a dense amount of dragon's aura to the blade.

"Transfer!"

The powerful dragon's aura and the holy aura of Ascalon melded together as Issei slashed down at Apophis, however the blade was still completely diverted by Apophis' darkness. "Wait, the Solid Impact form, the Rook form!" Issei thought.

"Promote, Rook!" Issei roared.

"Solid Impact Booster! ! !" "Penetrate! !"

Issei realigned his arm and stabbed Ascalon at Apophis and hit him square. However Apophis did not counterattack. "? !" Issei looked down to see that the ridge below had been completely swallowed by Apophis's black water, and at the rate it was going the entire island would be swallowed as well. "Oh shit!" Issei said as he leaped into the air. However the black water rolled into a wave and rushed toward him, but attacked in waves. Apophis took advantage of this and spewed a dark aura from his mouth. It brushed over a small section of his armor, but it melted.

"!" Issei looked on as multiple waves of darkness rushed toward him, he tried to slash Ascalon at it to counterattack.

"My Darkness is different than the healing darkness of Alipheese the First!" Apophis said as his darkness finally struck Issei, ramming into his arms and legs.

"Gaaaahh!" Issei cried out. "Fuck! This hurts so much! Kenshin I really wish I had your pain ignorance right now!" He thought, before his eyes widened as he saw a stream of black water charging at him as he was trying to dodge Apophis' darkness. "Kulhhh!" Issei gasped as it tore through his abdomen. He started to lower in the air as the black water struck his limbs, slowing his movements considerably.

"Gaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh! !" Issei cried out in pain.

"I imagine the Dragon of the Elements is going through similar agony right now." Apophis said.

"Grrh!" Issei growled out, as he reached into his pocket, exposed from Apophis's various attacks pulling out a Phoenix Tear he'd received from Ravel, but was shocked to find it dyed black, clearly having lost their function. "Did Apophis' special ability spread to the Phoenix Tears?" Issei thought.

At the same time Kenshin was backhanded away from Trihexa who smirked. "Come on, is that you got?" Trihexa asked.

"Grh!" Kenshin reached into his pocket pulling out his own vial of Phoenix Tears he'd received from Ravel. He went to open it when Trihexa scoffed.

"You really think I didn't corrupt that when I got in close?" Trihexa asked.

"!" Kenshin's eyes widened looking down at the vial in his hand.

"Go ahead, use it, and be consumed by my corruption." Trihexa said.

"Grh..." Kenshin growled as he threw the vial to the side and blasted it with a shot of youki, destroying it. "I'm sorry Ravel, I wasted your gift." Kenshin thought, scowling at Trihexa. "Trihexa, I may not be able to beat you today, but one day you will FALL to ME!"

"Hahahahahaahaha!" Trihexa laughed. "Interesting theory, let's go ahead and give it a test run!"

"FINE THEN!" Kenshin roared as the elements surrounded him. "!" His eyes widened slightly as a small amulet came out of his pocket, while on the other island with Apophis the same happened with Issei.

"Kenshin." Hikari said, stopping her son.

"Mom?" Kenshin asked. "What's up?"

Hikari giggled softly. "You know, I always feel a little giddy when you, Yukari or Miyuki call me Mom, because I was under Hottan Ialda's control for so long." She said with a smile.

"Heh. Believe it or not, Yukari and I had to resist calling you and Dad...well y'know...Mom and Dad while we were in the past. Same goes for Grandpa and Grandma." Kenshin said with a chuckle.

Hikari giggled and held out a small amulet. "I offered this to Yukari and Miyuki, but they said they wouldn't need it because they wanted it to go to you." Hikari said with a smile. "I guess because they knew you would challenge Trihexa yourself...it's a mother's nature to worry you know?"

Kenshin smiled and grabbed the amulet. "Well don't Mom, cause I'm coming back." He paused to clench his fist. "Count on it!"

"And I believe in you to do so!" Hikari said with tears rolling down her cheeks with a wide smile as Kenshin ran off.. "Kenshin...I know you'll come back...Azazel, you better do the same."

"Kenshin, I'll help you keep your word to Hikari."

"Ophis? !" Kenshin said. "Nngh!" He felt an intense welling of energy inside of his chest as the amulet Hikari gave him floated out of his chest. .

"Kenshin, did you miss us?"

"Wait...those...voices?" Kenshin thought.

"Come on, don't say you forgot us buddy! Vesper he forgot us!"

"Oh come on after all the smoke I gave you when I died!"

"It's OK guys it's been a long time for him.

"We've been watching Kenshin...and we couldn't be more prouder of you than we are now."

"That's right. Hear it from the rest!"

"Scott, Sin, Daniel, Vesper, Rantou...R-RyuuTaisho?" Kenshin thought as he stared at the amulet. .

"Are you having a hallucination?" Trihexa asked.

Kenshin ignored him. Go Kenshin! I know Yukari-neesan isn't there with you, but keep fighting!"

"You can do it Kenshin!"

"It's OK Kenshin, you got this!"

"Do it Kenshin, don't give up!"

"Heh..." Kenshin smirked and gripped Hikari's amulet tightly at the same time Issei gripped the one he received from Miki. "This is gonna suck like hell later, but fuck it! Anything to save the world!"

For Issei he pictured himself at a shrine. He was there with his parents wearing a haori and hakama, he was also with his grandmother and grandfather. His eyes watered as he remembered he was only three years old at the time. He remembered that such photos could never be taken again, and the single line of words that were written on such photos.

"Issei, three years old, Shichi-Go-San."

"Thank you for being able to grow up to this point safely."

For Kenshin, he heard the voices of his old friends.

"Like we said! You got this!" Daniel said.

"Yeah, I've never known you to fail a mission, eventually you'll get the job done!" Vesper said.

"Kenshin, you are our will. Carry on for all of us." Scott said.

"Vesper's right, maybe we gave you the wrong job, but you're the man to go to when shit needs to get done, you and Yukari!" Sin said.

"Kenshin...I've regretted for a long time that I made you our assassin. You were just a child, but thank you for your service. I have one last job for you." Rantou said. "Defeat this monster! I don't care when it's done, as long as it's done!"

"Kenshin, we're all watching...it turns out that bastard was lying." RyuuTaisho said. "You, your sisters and mother are the pride of our clans, now do us proud once more! We know you can do it!"

"Keh!" Kenshin's hand covered his eyes as he sobbed.

"Crying?" Trihexa mused. "Accepting death are we?"

"No." Kenshin growled with a smirk. "I wouldn't expect a monster like you to understand, but I just received a pep talk from some old friends and an old family member...HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

"? !" Trihexa's eyes widened.

"I may not be able to beat you with this, but I will make you remember my name!" Kenshin roared, before going into a chant. "The Multicolored Yonseirei, the Dragon of the Elements, help me evolve and evolve yourselves." Kenshin chanted as a multicolored aura surrounded him.

Issei meanwhile remembered everyone he wanted from his master Rias, Asia, a dear friend in Akeno, his kouhai in Koneko, his and Kenshin's manager Ravel, Kiba, Xenovia, Irina, Rossweisse, Kuroka, Ophis, Lilith, Azazel-Sensei, Yukari, Miyuki, Hikari, Granberia, Alma, Erubetie, Evangeline, Chachamaru, Tamamo, Kazumi, his parents, grandmother and everyone else. "The Crimson Heavenly Dragon I possess within me awaken from your dominance, rise up, become a king and roar!"

"The Jet Black God of Infinity." Ophis and Lilith said to Kenshin and Issei as the same multicolored and crimson auras surrounded and the very same jet black aura from Agreas.

"The glorious God of Dreams!" Kenshin and Issei chanted.

"We shall dance like radiance within the inferno" Issei said.

"I'm sorry about this you four. I know what this is going to do to us later, but are you ready?" Kenshin thought.

"We're ready!" Sylph said.

"It's OK, we can handle this." Gnome said.

"We won't leave you high and dry." Undine said.

"Let our power rage along with you. We won't let this monster forget us either!" Salamander said.

"Right!" Kenshin said.

"..." Trihexa watched as the dragon faced armor, bladed armorguards and shinguards and dragon horned headband formed on Kenshin's body.

Meanwhile Apophis watched on as Issei's Scale Mail announced "D (Infinity) D" twenty four times

"Dragon Infinity Drive! !" Issei shouted.

"Dragon God of the Elements! !" Kenshin and the Yonseirei shouted.

"So...this is your full power." Trihexa said.

"That's right." Kenshin pointed at him with the Tsurugi no Kami. "I still may not be able to beat you with this, but I refuse to be punked out by you!"

"Like I've been saying this whole time...you don't have a choice. I've been making short work of gods since I got released." Trihexa said. "You really think an infant Dragon God, using power borrowed from two stronger Primordials and the creations of another intimidates me?"

Kenshin growled and clenched his fist. "Like I said..." The elements surrounded his fist as Kenshin instantly appeared in front of Trihexa. "I don't fucking care! Elemental Spica!"

"Guoh!" Trihexa was sent rocketing into the air. "!" He watched Kenshin coming in hot.

"Those gods you beat got complacent with their power!" Kenshin said flashing behind Trihexa and curling into a spinning ball until Trihexa got to him, at which point he uncurled and slammed both his heels down on Trihexa's head.

"Gaah!" Trihexa shouted.

"I'm not finished! !" Kenshin roared taking off after him again. He held the Tsurugi no Kami in an iai position. "Flash Kill! Tornado!" He shouted slashing Trihexa across the waist as a twister formed around Trihexa, cutting him to ribbons.. As he shot by, he turned around and shot toward Trihexa again, holding the Tsurugi no Kami over his head. "I mean this literally this time...Heavenly Demon Revival! Gaia!"

"Grrrhhhhh!" Trihexa growled as Kenshin cut him down the middle. As Kenshin shot by him again, he turned and flew like a dart at Trihexa. He began slashing wildly at the beast. "Ninefold Rakshasa! Dragonic Asura!" He shouted making the dragon flame blast send Trihexa to the ground.

"Haa...haa..haa...haa...haa..." Kenshin panted as he landed on the ground.

"Kenshin, you've taken on a lot of damage in this fight, are you alright?" Undine asked.

"Yeah partner you ain't lookin' too good." Yuurei said.

"I'm fine..." Kenshin let out a sigh as his body relaxed. The smoke cleared and Trihexa was on his back with multiple slash wounds, bruises, and burns across his, or rather his host's body. "Stay down this time...you fuck..." Kenshin said wrapping his free arm around his abdomen, which ached in pain every time Kenshin took a breath. He turned and started walking away. "I'm still in the Dragon God of the Elements form. Maybe I can jailbreak this barrier and help everyone clean up." He muttered.

"Heheheheh..."

"!" Kenshin's eyes widened as he turned around to see Trihexa chuckling as he laid on the ground.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Trihexa roared with laughter as he climbed to his feet, his various wounds, burns and bruises healing.

Kenshin scowled. "You... how? ! HOW? !"

"Did you really think it was over?" Trihexa asked. "That's twice I've fooled you, shall we go for a third?"

"..." Kenshin's scowl deepened as he approached Trihexa.

"Still though, it's been awhile since I've had this much fun!" Trihexa said. "Since I've felt this much pain! You're the most fun I've had since Yahweh! Though a very distant second you are!"

"...I see you for what you are now Trihexa." Kenshin said. "You're nothing more than a thing!"

Trihexa frowned. "I'm the Primordial of Corruption, possessing the Primordial of Reality's body, boy. I'm far more than a thing."

"Nah, that's where you got it twisted, bitch." Kenshin said. "A thing is all you are. You don't make anything, you don't live! You just corrupt and hide!"

"Is there a point to this spiel you're on Kenshin?" Trihexa asked. "Are you dictating your fucking obituary to me?"

"There is...!" Kenshin said holding out the Tsurugi no Kami to his left, still holding his abdomen. "I maybe injured to hell and back right now, but I won't let you take this place away from the people who deserve it. People who can create, not just corrupt and destroy! You and I...we're just a couple of old killers...and it's time for one of us to go."

"And I assume that the one who has to go is me." Trihexa drawled. "So pray tell...who is going to make me go? You? With your borrowed power and fancy glowing blade?"

Kenshin smirked wearily. "Probably not, but I'm willing to give it another try!"

"Heh!" Trihexa smirked as Kenshin pursued him. "I admire your bravery Kenshin! COME!"

At the same time.

With Issei and Apophis

Issei stood in front of Apophis in his crimson and black armor. "This will be the last Dragon Deification."

"Truly splendid. This aura simply cannot be compared to that of before...and if what I'm sensing is correct. The Dragon God of the Elements has appeared as well and even he's stronger...not that it will mean much against Trihexa." Apophis said, joy evident in his voice.

"We've both got too much on the line to fail now." Issei said. "So yeah now that things have come to this it's over for you...and I trust Kenshin to prevail...so prepare yourself!" Issei said.

"Good words! Let's begin then! The battle between Heavenly Dragon and Evil Dragon!" Apophis said

Issei rushed forward and punched Apophis' face as the Scale Mail announced it's current power of infinity twelve times as the punch sent Apophis flying a good distance away.

"Hahaha! Even my darkness can't cancel out this power! How interesting!" Apophis said. "Take this!" He said spewing out darkness. Issei responded with his Infinite Dragon Shot to counter, but was shocked when not only were they pushed back, part of his infinite armor was melted. "What? ! I was able to beat down Rizevim with ease, but I'm still getting hit by Apophis' attacks!"

"I already told you. He's already Heavenly Dragon-class." Ddraig said.

"Yeah, I see now! I can't be careless!" Issei thought as he and Apophis continued their battle. Issei punched and kicked at him while Apophis turned his black water into a whip to counter. The impact pierced through the internal parts of his armor, but his actual body also felt the strikes. His four dragon wings had also been pierced quite a bit causing them to disappear, but he had to keep repairing them lest he fell into black water below. Apophis was pulling out all the stops. His dark breath, barriers and the black water to fight back. Issei countered with physicality and Dragon Shots.

"And with this barrier on the island in place. I'm not likely to receive any help. Oh well! Vali and Kenshin wouldn't back down. Neither will I!" Issei thought. "Still this guy is seriously strong! No fucking wonder I wasn't able to beat him with the Cardinal Crimson Promotion! How was Kenshin able to hold him back like he did? !" Issei thought. "Even this infinite armor is feeling the pressure. Still I'm causing him damage too!" Issei then remembered what Kenshin said to Apophis.

"Complacency kills strength."

"I see. Apophis isn't complacent anymore, but why would Kenshin tell him that? Was he implying that Apophis hadn't kept his strength up since he came back to life?" Issei thought as he pulled away and extended his four dragon wings which now had cannons mounted on them. Two barrels mounted on his shoulders and another two appeared under his arms. They quietly began to hum as the power of infinity gathered the muzzles

Apophis was amused. "How very interesting! Let's finish this now Sekiryuutei!" Apophis roared unleashing a massive ball of darkness at Issei. "Shit! Even as I am now, I would suffer immense damage if that hits me!" Issei said before his gems began chanting the 'D Infinity D' chant twelve times again and an infinity symbol on all the gems of his armor, flashing between red and black. "Goooooooooooo! ! !"

"Infinity Blaster!"

A vast amount of aura blasted from the four cannons on his wings, the red and black auras interweaving as it went straight toward Apophis.

"What? !" Issei thought as he saw something that shocked him. His Infinity Blaster was being fought against by four balls of darkness, yet they weren't fully engulfed by the blast. "Are you fucking serious? ! He truly is unimaginably strong, if you're not holding back Apophis, I won't either!" Issei thought as he concentrated on his abdomen, suddenly the armor over his chest and abdomen began to change. Rattling as the plates separated, revealing another cannon muzzle. The power of infinity gathering at the cannon. Issei knew what would happen next. "This is the end Apophis!"

"Longinus Smasher! ! ! ! !"

The Longinus Smasher fired from Issei's chest combined with the four cannons that had fired the Infinity Blaster, destroying Apophis' counterattack and engulfed him completely. Issei lowered to the ground and fell to a kneel gasping for breath as the black water slowly receded. Apophis laid in front of Issei who had numerous injuries that were beyond healing. The Evil Dragon smiled. "Splendid...a splendid fight Sekiryuutei...no, Hyoudou Issei, I was able to fight a hero like you...I haven't felt this happy since I fought Ra...this is something that an Evil Dragon should be..."

Issei was a bit confused at Apophis' satisfaction. "You're clearly a dragon who would fight an honest duel with me or even Kenshin...so why did you do something like this?"

"Azi Dahaka and I are both Evil Dragon. What completes our existences is our defeat at the hands of a hero. I was pleased to go toe to toe with you now and Ra in the past, and even though I fled from the Dra-...No...Kenshin Tsuki Kuroshi...I was merely acting...I know he wanted Trihexa...to become the greatest hero of all, and he's right...Azi Dahaka and I had become complacent, but when faced with the Niitenryuu...we could no longer do as such. We may not have built our power like he continuously does...but this is fine." Apophis said. "A fight like Rizevim's without any glory at all is the lowest of the low."

"Yeah...this fight gave me insight into the pride of a dragon. Shown me what a true Evil Dragon is." Issei thought as Apophis started to vanish. "You were an enemy I had to defeat."

As he disappeared Apophis spoke his final words. "Hyoudou Issei, if I ever come back...let's have it out again...eh?"

With that Apophis' body vanished, turning to dust in the wind. "I'll accept his invitation, but why hasn't this barrier lowering?"

(vrrrroooommmm!)

A figure slammed through the barrier, which allowed it inside, crashing into the island. "!" Issei looked over, seeing a figure he immediately recognized. "K-Kenshin? !"

Indeed. Kenshin laid in the sand and dirt of the island. His headband gone, the chest plates of his armor half destroyed, one of both of his armguards and shinguards destroyed. "Haaa...haa...haa..haa..." He stabbed the Tsurugi no Kami into the ground and used it to push himself back up, bearing numerous wounds.

"Kenshin, are you alright? !" Issei asked.

"Don't worry about me! Get ready it's coming!" Kenshin said.

Issei stared at Kenshin. "His arms are burnt to hell...he's holding his torso like he's hurt...his legs are shaking...what happened to him?" Issei thought.

"Issei! I said to get ready! That means focus!" Kenshin shouted. "I'll get healed later! !"

Before Issei could say anything. A portal opened up and out stepped Trihexa. Issei narrowed his eyes. "A humanoid being, emitting a white brilliance...it's the opposite of what I just faced, but even I can feel the ominous aura in the air around it. Those ten horns are also ominous...what I'm familiar with this aura." Issei thought.

"That is the consciousness of Trihexa." Ddraig said.

"He's possessing the body of another Primordial, the Primordial of Reality, Zen." Kenshin said.

Trihexa glanced over at Kenshin with a smile. "Ah, thanks for the exposition Kenshin, saves me the time to do it myself."

"So what should we expect?" Issei asked. "Reality bending magic?"

"I don't know. He didn't use any against me." Kenshin said. "These burned arms are something I did to myself to try and kill him."

"I can't actually use the bulk of Zen's powers. His will is weak. I did use it all those years ago to create that monstrous body you all fought, and I can use it to take over and destroy Yahweh's creation." Trihexa said.

"Yahweh?" Issei said.

"Haa..." Trihexa sighed. "Do you not know the name of your creator, former human?"

"You mean God?" Issei said. "That's your game? ! You mean to destroy this universe? !"

"Exactly." Trihexa answered.

"Kenshin how did he escape the barrier? ! I thought we had him!" Issei said.

"The fuck if I know Issei! He just ejected his core from the dragon body!" Kenshin said.

"Hmhmhm...I admire her effort, but that Valkyrie was never going to be able to keep me bind me, by which that which you see before you long enough to reseal me." Trihexa smiled cruelly. "She was simply too weak."

"Oh...then what about me?"

"? !" Kenshin and Issei looked over as a teleportation circle bearing the crest of Lucifer appeared beside the latter. When it disappeared, Sirzechs appeared in it's place. "Sirzechs? !/Sirzechs-Sama? !"

"Yo, Issei-kun." Sirzechs said with a wave before glancing at Kenshin. "He's taken a lot of damage...haa...Kenshin you're too good to us..."

"Sirzechs, why are you here...?" Kenshin asked.

"I came to fight together with Issei-kun." Sirzechs said.

"Wh-What? I don't understand what you mean?" Issei said

"..." Kenshin narrowed his eyes at him.

"Don't give me that look Kenshin. You're clearly on your last legs. Stand down and release that form you're in." Sirzechs said.

"...Go back to hell." Kenshin growled.

"? !" Sirzechs stared at him in surprise.

"Don't give ME that look Sirzechs." Kenshin grunted. "You know this about me by now...if the battle is still raging, I won't run away...and...I refuse to get punked out by this self destructive BRAT!" Kenshin shouted.

"Oh let the boy fight his life away." Trihexa said. "That said. I would like to know what you're doing here as well Lucifer Sirzechs."

"Well, most of the work I had is done so I came to reinforce the defenses on the Japan front, but still...a change occurred to the Trihexa which was originally supposed to have been stopped. It ejected a core which was reported to have been pursued by Kenshin. Then it released a sudden flash of light, and vanished. I received reports that the same thing was happening at the other six locations. Then a reaction occurred in one barrier, then I saw Kenshin flying, against his will into this one so I came here by myself...and here you are, Imperial Beast."

"Why would it come here?" Issei asked.

"To finish me off." Kenshin said. "I may be weaker, but I'm still a threat to him as a Primordial."

"That's why I'm telling you to stand down!" Sirzechs said.

"And that's also why I'm telling you to pound the sand we're standing on!" Kenshin retorted. "You're not benching me Sirzechs. Three is better than two after all. I'm still in my Dragon God form, even if I am hurt. I can still be of use here."

"..." Sirzechs frowned, but nodded in resignation. "Fine Kenshin, but still. I think he brought both of you here Issei-kun, because you have more charm, or maybe it reacted to Ophis and Great Red."

"It's both actually. Zen maybe nearly squelched, but his voice does annoy me from time to time." Trihexa said. "He wanted to send Kenshin here so we could come here. Something about an Oppai Dragon and Lust Dragon...how absurd. I just want to eliminate the Primordi-ulgh!"

"!" Issei and Sirzechs watched as spears of heavenly fire stabbed through Trihexa driving it to the ground. They looked over at Kenshin.

"What are you looking at me for? ! ATTACK!" Kenshin roared.

Issei nodded and fired off blasts from the cannons on his wings, all of the shots hitting their mark. Sirzechs was observing the barrier. "If Issei-kun's power wasn't able to break this...then maybe Trihexa noticed Apophis from the outside and even may have strengthened the barrier. It seems Trihexa really wanted to be alone with you."

"After all the fighting we did, he can still strengthen this barrier? !" Kenshin said.

"Why do monsters like us so much Kenshin?" Issei said.

"I don't fucking know in your case, in mine it's because I'm always down to fight!" Kenshin snapped.

"Also, Kenshin himself reported this earlier, but we successfully gained control of the Holy Grail. The Evil Dragons and fake Sekiryuutei across the various territories have been eliminated." Sirzechs said. "Now..." Sirzechs increased his own aura.

"Aw hell yeah let's do this!" Kenshin said, adrenaline rushing through his veins as he readied himself for battle once more.

"Despite my having said that...if something isn't done about the beast in front of us, Issei-kun and Kenshin-kun won't be able to leave this barrier. Moreover, looking at both your current states, your Dragon Deification and Dragon God of the Elements forms look like they will release soon." Sirzechs said.

"..." Kenshin went silent, glancing at Sirzechs. "I...don't like how he worded that." Kenshin thought.

"As Kenshin's brother in law and Rias' elder brother, I really wanted to have together with you two, even if one of you is being stubborn and fighting through injuries that would kill other people...but this is also my last act of selfishness." Sirzechs said

"Ok, now I REALLY don't like how he worded that!" Kenshin thought.

However before Kenshin could ask what he meant. Sirzechs raised his aura even higher. The entire island trembled. His aura soared again and the Power of Destruction wrapped around his entire body. What stood in his place was a dense concentration of destruction magic in human form. Truly...a Human Shaped Aura of Destruction.

"Unholy shit! Is this Sirzechs-Sama's true form? ! It's insane! Rizevim doesn't even stack up! So this is a Super Devil!"

"The first time I felt this power, it was far away, to see it so up close..." Kenshin thought in awe. "Forget it, I'll ask him later."

"Yeah, this is Rias Gremory's ani. An irregular amongst devils." Ddraig said

"He's right Partner, when you fight him one day. This is what you'll face." Yuurei said.

"Fufufu. I think your transformation is irregular as well Ddraig, and Yuurei, you and Kenshin haven't manifested your power together yet." Sirzechs said. "So how bout it? The Crimson Satan, the Sekiryuutei and Dragon of the Elements take down this beast."

"Yeah!" Issei said.

"Alright." Kenshin said.

"Are you three done chatting?" Trihexa asked as he readied it's stance.

"Any pointers Kenshin?" Issei asked.

"Honestly only one..." Kenshin said. "Keep destroying him."

"Huh?" Sirzechs said.

"You'll see what I mean." Kenshin said.

The four figures vanished after Kenshin finished speaking, appearing in midair. Trihexa had six wings on it's back, a bird's, a dragon's, a bat's and three other types. Issei went in first and slugged Trihexa backward, making the beast flutter in the air to correct his balance.

"Haaaaa!" Kenshin soared past Issei and shot at Trihexa. "Flash Kill: Tornado!"

Blood sprayed from Trihexa's wound, but it regenerated. He ignored Kenshin and flew right at Issei. "!" Issei went to kick the beast back, but Trihexa disappeared from his sight and slid by him.

"Hrrmmnnn!" Sirzechs formed an orb of destruction and sent it at Trihexa, destroying his body.

"Haa...it's ove-" Issei was cut off by Kenshin yelling.

"It's not over you two! Get ready!"

"? !" Issei and Sirzechs' eyes widened as a miniscule piece of flesh Trihexa left behind regenerated into Trihexa completely.

"Are you kidding me?" Issei said.

"The proof is right there." Kenshin said. "If a Primordial isn't needed to beat him, then we got to obliterate him so completely that he can't reform himself."

"Interesting theory. Let's see if you can do it." Trihexa said.

Sirzechs, Issei and Kenshin shot toward Trihexa, alternating melee attacks from Issei, sword strikes from Kenshin and Sirzech's Power of Destruction. They ended up destroying the beast several times, but he kept coming back, adapting gradually to their coordination. Trihexa let out his aura and repelled all three of them. Sirzechs and Issei were unscathed, Kenshin hadn't taken any more damage than he had from earlier, but Trihexa was also unharmed. Sirzechs released a burst of destructive energy that caused more than half the island to disappear.

"Why don't you two call me gikei-san while we're fighting?" Sirzechs asked.

"At a time like this? What are you saying? !" Issei said.

"Sirzechs, now's really not the time." Kenshin said.

"Fufu, yes I suppose you're right." Sirzechs said as he continuously hurled his orbs of destruction at Trihexa.

"Kenshin is it just me or is Sirzechs-Sama really enjoying fighting alongside us?" Issei asked as Sirzechs' attention was focused on Trihexa.

"I don't doubt that, but still...the way he's been talking..." Kenshin said before muttering under his breath. "Why does this feel like he's saying goodbye?"

Trihexa emerged from the blasts unscathed having regenerated once more. He stared at Sirzechs while Issei marveled at Sirzechs' magical strength. "That dense aura of destruction...if someone got hit by that, unless they were incredibly strong like Sirzechs-Sama, they would definitely be annihilated."

"Yeah..." Kenshin said. "Too bad our opponent is the legendary Imperial Beast, the Primordial of Corruption."

Trihexa moved forward to attack again. The orbs of destruction Sirzechs was using to counterattack was about the size of a basketball, but Kenshin knew, this was where he was trying to get with Rias' training with her magic, because Sirzechs' orbs of destruction were either equivalent to Rias' Extinguished Star, or it outclassed Rias' signature attack, and since Sirzechs could manipulate them freely, he continuously pursued Trihexa.

"Kenshin we need to follow after them." Issei said.

"Yeah, but keep your distance. Even in these forms, in the shapes we're in we may get taken in by that aura." Kenshin said.

Trihexa attempted to engage Sirzechs in melee combat only to lose his arms and legs. He didn't care and kept attacking with his ever regenerating limbs. Sirzechs countered in turn. "Damn, and I thought he was just a Wizard type. Shows what I know." Kenshin said. "So this is what Sirzechs is like when he gets serious."

"Damn it! I wanna blast it with one of my large blasts, but...Nngh!" Issei grunted as he started feeling a bit dizzy and his body ached.

"Issei, what is it?" Kenshin said as they gave chase after the battle.

"As long as I have this Diablos Dragon form. I have the power of infinity...but if I use another blast...would that kill me?" Issei said.

"...Best not to chance it." Kenshin said before they shot by Sirzechs.

"Kenshin! Throw me at it!" Issei shouts.

"Right!" Kenshin said grabbing one of Issei's arms going into a spin while still flying and throwing Issei like a dart at the beast.

"!" Trihexa watched as Issei was on him in a flash.

"Haaaaaaaaaaaa!" Issei let loose a blistering barrage of punches.

Trihexa backed away from Issei, only to see Kenshin springboard off Issei's back. His body wreathed in the elements. "Full Body Elemental Spica!" Kenshin roared, tackling into the beast, taking him to the ground. Trihexa bounced back up and tried to back away again, he could regenerate from destruction, but that didn't mean he liked it. Kenshin wasn't having it. "Where do you think you're going? ! Bring that ass here!" Kenshin said grabbing the beast's arm and throwing it over his shoulder, slamming him into the ground, but Kenshin didn't relinquish his hold and repeated the action three times, before throwing him into the air. "All yours Sirzechs!"

Sirzechs nodded and blasted Trihexa, but same result occurred as he regenerated. Issei cursed, but Ddraig laughed. "That Albion. Looks like he blew away the confusion for the first time in these past two thousand years."

Kenshin heard this as well as he and Issei both asked. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Kukuku...then I will also use what's been sealed." Ddraig said

What Ddraig was thinking of appeared in Issei's mind and it blew his mind. "Yes, partner that is my original finishing move, sealed away by God when he sealed me in here. The only move that could be crowned as such. Hurry and use it! The ultimate move of the Welsh Dragon, Sekiryuutei Ddraig Y Goch!"

Issei nodded and concentrated on his abdomen, feeling intense heat building.

Meanwhile Kenshin was looking up at Trihexa, a frustrated scowl on his face. "Damn it...I've thrown everything I can think of that I think would be effective..." Kenshin said.

"I'm insulted partner, you haven't thrown everything at him yet." Yuurei said, a coy tone in his voice.

"Yuurei?" Kenshin said.

"The Tsurugi No Kami's already a powerful blade...so meld the Yonseirei's power onto it one more time, but then add my power to the mix. The girls already said they do it one more time...then add your touki in as well. Six sources of power, lined on the edge of one of the most powerful blades in existence."

"Everyone...thank you." Kenshin thought.

"But be warned. If this still doesn't work, you're out of this fight." Yuurei advised.

"I don't care." Kenshin said raising the Tsurugi no Kami skyward. Sirzechs saw all this and pulled back.

Issei focused on Trihexa as all his aura gathered in his abdomen. "This needs to be like Tannin-Ossan's! Now!" Issei let everything inside his abdomen out, and the entire island was engulfed in an endless, searing inferno. Trihexa was being bathed within it.

"Man am I glad I'm not on the ground right now." Kenshin said.

"Unholy shit! Even Trihexa can be burned by it!" Issei said.

"Blazing Inferno of Scorching Flames. The ultimate flames which can incinerate anything, once ignited they will never go out. Even gods will be burnt by these flames, the only ones they were ineffective against were Albion and Ragnarok...well I guess we could throw Great Red and the Infinite Ophis as well.

"They don't look like they're going anywhere or weakening...shouldn't you have mentioned this earlier? !" Issei said.

"Impossible, like I said. Up until now it was sealed in in the Boosted Gear by God." Ddraig said. "Hell the only real reasons we were able to release it was because of the effects of the second Dragon Deification and me sensing the change in Albion's determination."

"But it's still just standing there like nothing's happening!" Issei said.

"I was afraid of this. Only a monster with incredibly strong endurance and regenerative abilities would be able to stand up like that. Since it didn't disintegrate the moment it was touched by my flames, it could be referred to as a troublesome existence that stands beyond god class beings." Ddraig said.

Kenshin heard this and shot toward Trihexa in a desperate fervor. "TRIHEXA!" Kenshin roared.

"Hm?" Trihexa, whilst still burning turned to Kenshin.

"Eat this! An swing of this blade with my total power amplified one MILLION TIMES OVER! SEXTUPLE GIGA! !"

The blast didn't stop at obliterating Trihexa once more, it charged forward and slammed into the barrier, shattering it. The sky returning to normal. "Haa! Haa! Haa! Haa! Haa!" Kenshin panted heavily, the armor he was wearing breaking off, his right eye returning to normal as the jewels of the Balance Breaker shattered. "...!" He tettered forward before stabbing the Tsurugi no Kami in the ground to balance himself with. "I...won't fall!"

"...Hmhmhmhmhm...don't you get it?"

"!" Kenshin's eyes widened as Trihexa strode up to him. His wounds regenerating as well as his body. "Krh..." Kenshin closed his eyes gritting his teeth with a growl.

"It doesn't matter if it's One Million, Ten Million, One Hundred Million...as long as I'm in this body...you can't kill me...and oh...your godly form has deactivated completely." Trihexa said. "I remember Azi Dahaka and Apophis telling me you had that eye condition where the colors differ."

"? !" Kenshin's eyes widened. "I'm back in my base form? !" He thought.

Trihexa looked down at the Tsurugi no Kami. "Well, I believe I'll relieve you of that...after all two Primordials are better than one." He reached for it.

"!" Kenshin pulled the Tsurugi no Kami away and flung it behind him, Chimei Supairaru appearing in his other hand.

"Haa..." Trihexa sidestepped the incoming stab from the dual blade, snatched it from Kenshin's hands and stabbed it into Kenshin's front left flank.

"Ghh! !" Kenshin growled in pain as Trihexa pushed him back. Trihexa released the blade, letting it hit the ground with a dull thud.

"Kenshin! !" Issei shouted rushing toward them only to become faint and fall to the ground, his own armor dispelling. "Shit! SHIT! ! I can't move! Agggh! If I even try the pain is too unbearable!" He thought.

"Like I said earlier Kenshin." Trihexa said. "I commend your bravery. You've given your heart, body and soul to save this universe...while I'm destroying it...I hope they remember you." Kenshin tasted his own blood in his mouth and spit it at Trihexa landing it on his face. "Ever the defiant one." Trihexa said charging up his aura to blast Kenshin away with.

"Heh..." Kenshin smirked weakly. "What can I say? I like to go down being a pain in someone's ass to the bitter end...that said...I ain't goin' anywhere."

"Hu-? !" Trihexa was blown away by one of Sirzechs' orbs of destruction. Sirzechs landed next to him.

"Thank you for breaking the barrier, but I already told Issei-kun this...stay here Kenshin, seriously you're done." Sirzechs said.

"Fine, but I'm not literally sitting this one out." Kenshin said grabbing Chimei Supairaru and stabbing it in the ground to support himself.

"Very well." Sirzechs said before giving chase after Trihexa.

"If he couldn't beat me at One Million Percent...what makes you think you can do anything to me?" Trihexa mocked even as Sirzechs kept destroying his body.

"...You're right...if this continues now that the barrier is gone...then it seems that plan is necessary." Sirzechs said extending his hand toward Trihexa, making a magic circle similar to Rossweisse's and projected it toward Trihexa, restraining it completely.

"Ghhh? !" Trihexa still managed to speak. "This is...a vastly more...powerful...version of that...binding spell!"

"Indeed." Sirzechs said before making a small magic circle in his hand and projected it toward the ground. From it came the rest of Sirzechs' peerage."

They all knelt down and said. "All members of Lucifer's peerage have assembled!"

"How are things in the other locations?" Sirzechs asked.

"There are signs that the Trihexa outside are beginning to move again." Macgregor said.

"Cores appeared in other territories and they are currently on the loose. Because of their extraordinary regenerative ability, they haven't been stopped effectively. What's worse the techniques performed on the original are being undone and it's beginning to move again."

"Heh, I told you that you couldn't bind me forever." Trihexa said.

"This one talks? Reports also stated that the other five were completely taciturn." Enku said.

"Damn it...so that's what happened..." Kenshin muttered. "Even if we recovered the third Grail...their cores aren't there anymore...so the original's moving again...and we couldn't even find a way around the regeneration and we've been fighting the original." He looked u and saw Sirzechs listening to multiple sources of information from a communication circle. He then turned to his peerage.

"We need to implement the plan. Is this OK?" Sirzechs asked.

Kenshin pulled his dual blade out of the ground and started slowly walking toward Sirzechs. "I'm a part of this peerage too...whatever it is you're doing...I'm in..."

"No, you're not." Sirzechs said.

"Bu-!" Kenshin said.

"FOR THE LAST TIME LOOK AT YOURSELF! YOU CAN BARELY STAND!" Sirzechs roared. "Haa...Kenshin I know you're a Primordial and a warrior...but you have to know when you can't take anymore abuse. I need you here...please...stand down."

"..." Kenshin's bangs overshadowed his eyes as he spoke one word. His arms going slack. "Abeat." Chimei Supairaru vanished into thin air.

"Thank you." Sirzechs said with a sad smile.

Everyone nodded and agreed. However...Sirzechs called out to Grayfia. "Grayfia..." He faced her, who raised her head and created a magic circle that released some kind of spell towards her.

"Sirzechs-Sama what are you doing? !" Grayfia shouted before falling to the ground as if her power had been drained away.

Even Kenshin was shocked. "Sirzechs what the fuck? ! I get not taking me because I'm basically a tenderized steak at this point, but what are you doing to Grayfia? !"

"This is the special hypnosis technique that Azazel taught me. I thought that it would be useful on you." Sirzechs said.

"W-Why would you do such a thing...!" Grayfia strained out trying to get closer to Sirzechs, but it was no use...the technique had already taken it's effect and her eyelids slowly drooped. If not for his Human Shaped Aura of Destruction he would have hugged her, but he retracted his arms. His body language speaking misery.

"I'm sorry Grayfia. I hope that you can remain here." Sirzechs said.

"You...really are...too cunning, Sirzechs...even if you chose her as your second...and I chose him as mine...we clearly swore that we'd be together forever...!" Grayfia said, her consciousness slowly fading.

"For Millicas, in the days ahead of him...a mother is necessary." Sirzechs said.

"...That child...actually, toward you...Sir...zechs..." Grayfia finally collapsed fully, in a deep slumber.

"I should have known from the start..." Kenshin growled. Sirzechs' peerage stared at him. "I knew there was something you and Azazel weren't telling me." Kenshin said before letting out a sigh. "Is there really nothing I can say to dissuade you?"

"I'm sorry Kenshin, but this is the only way." Sirzechs said.

"At least tell me what the play is." Kenshin said. "Rias is going to want to know."

"..." Sirzechs nodded and told his peerage to lay their spells on Trihexa. He explained that they were taking Trihexa to the Isolation Barrier Field. A place closely related to him and that it would take many years to fight the beast off. "I also believe you Primordials tie into this somehow." Sirzechs said.

"Trihexa tried to imply that, but I think the Primordial of Reality, Zen might just have a self preservation ability, which is how Trihexa regenerates, but all regenerative factors gotta wear out sometime...I mean hell look at me." Kenshin said. "Maybe we were supposed to just keep it sealed until everyone was united to fight against it and I mean a single united front on a sole battlefield, but I'm just spitballin' here." Kenshin's eyes took on a solemn gaze. "Would you have kept me here even if I wasn't beat down like this?"

"Yes...Remember I brought you here to protect Rias...and I need you to take care of my family in my stead." Sirzechs said.

"What?" Kenshin said.

"...Grayfia chose you, y'know...as her second." Sirzechs said. "That...and if I'm not there...Millicas will still need the hero he looks up to."

"? !" Kenshin looked over at Grayfia.

"I could tell from the time you told her about Euclid. Yes it broke her heart to hear her brother was causing trouble, but...it would have hurt so much worse to find out on her own. Then you defended her honor when I couldn't,...and she's always admired your kindness and willingness to help not only her but Millicas. Let's face it Kenshin...you charmed her, like she charmed me when we met."

"Haa...I'm sorry I'm such a charming bastard." Kenshin said with a sorrowful smile.

"Haha, it's fine." Sirzechs said before staring solemnly at Grayfia. "She's going to be lonely after this."

"Yeah and mad as a hornet when you two see each other again. Marissa too probably." Kenshin jabbed.

"Heh, you ain't kidding." Sirzechs said. "But please Kenshin. Be her pillar of support in my place."

Kenshin nodded. "I don't know if I'll be as strong as one as you, but I'll try."

"That's all I ask." Sirzechs said.

"!" The surroundings changed, A large dimensional distortion occurred above them and continued to grow. It was a large hole. Sirzechs' peerage gathered around Trihexa which had been sealed and activated a peculiar technique. "!" Kenshin looked back, seeing Trihexa's original body being covered in a holy light before feeling...to his surprise, Serafall's aura. Sirzechs held his hand out expanding a magic circle in front of himself, and a display was projected out of it. Pictured was Serafall and Falbium.

"Sirzechs-Chan, all the preparations are already complete here." Serafall said.

"We're ready to transfer at anytime." Falbium said.

"I understand, Serafall, Falbium. Have you finished saying your farewells to the ones you love?" Sirzechs asked.

"I never had anyone like that on my side to begin with. Anyway, I've left most of the things that come afterwards in the care of my Queen." Falbium said.

"I've...been troubled about it this whole time...that girl will certainly cry...and I don't want to see that...or I'll definitely hesitate...but I have...one last person." Serafall said with a saddened smile.

"..." Sirzechs nodded and snapped his fingers. Serafall's projection appeared in front of Kenshin.

"Hey..." Serafall said.

"Hey...so you're going too...huh?" Kenshin asked.

"Yeah." Serafall said.

"What do I tell Sona?" Kenshin asked.

"Tell her...that...I'm sorry, but I had to go." Serafall said.

"Ok." Kenshin nodded.

Serafall smiled teasingly, but Kenshin could tell she was forcing it. "You look awful Kenshin-Chan."

"Heh." Kenshin smiled a bit. "Well I DID just get through fighting the original Trihexa's core."

"Tehe...Kenshin-Chan...you really are too good to us." Serafall said before sighing. "I guess my dream will just remain a dream..."

"For now." Kenshin said.

"Eh?" Serafall looked up at him.

"This isn't goodbye. It's see you later." Kenshin smiled. "I love you, Sera."

"..." Serafall's eyes shimmered. "I love you too, Kenshin...take good care of So-Tan, OK?"

"Count on it." Kenshin nodded. "And you and everyone else stay safe over there."

"Count on it." Serafall said before reappearing in front of Sirzechs. They had a few more words before Serafall and Falbium's images disappeared. Sirzechs then turned and approached Kenshin again as the latter scooped Grayfia up into his arms, cradling her upper back so her head wouldn't hang over his arm.

"So, Falbium and Serafall are leaving their queens behind too?" Kenshin asked.

"You heard?" Sirzechs asked.

"These ears on my head ain't for show." Kenshin said. "Why you coming back here?"

"I want you to check on Issei-kun for me. He's like a little brother to me like you're my brother in law." Sirzechs said.

The two got to Issei and Kenshin gingerly sat down, laying the back of Grayfia's head on his right leg. "Hey Issei. Issei!" Kenshin said.

"..." Issei didn't respond.

"..." Sirzechs and Kenshin stared at him. Kenshin grabbed him and turned him on his back to get his face out of the puddle of blood he probably spewed up from using Ddraig's ultimate attack. He then put his fingers against Issei's neck.

(ba-dump...ba-dump...ba-dump...ba-dump)

"I'm no doctor, obviously, but I can feel a weak, but stable pulse. I think he'll be OK. Now go on...you've put this off long enough." Kenshin said.

Sirzechs nodded, sparing one last gaze at Grayfia. "...I hope you can forgive me for this one day Grayfia..." He thought turning away as a lone tear rolled down his cheek. He flew into the air, joining his peerage at the hole. Sirzechs glanced back at Kenshin who looked up at him "Kenshin...I know you feel like you failed...I just know it...but you didn't...and that won't stop you from feeling miserable about this...but please be strong for yourself, your family, mine and everyone." He thought as everyone vanished with one last thought. "But...allow yourself some time to heal."

The sky returned to normal after they all disappeared. Kenshin lowered his head. "Haa..." He took a journal out of one of his seals and opened it up. He looked at the last entry. Save Rikudou: Mission Status: Failure.

"..." Kenshin narrowed his eyes as he began writing. "Why am I still conscious? The Dragon God of the Elements put me under like the Diabalos Dragon form did Issei..."

"Remember how I said before that your body might be slowly changing?" Heinrich asked. "Your body is adapting."

"And Issei? Why does him using Dragon Deification carry a potential death sentence?" Kenshin asked.

"I see." Kenshin thought.

"Pyrrhic Success huh?"

"? !" Kenshin turned to find Yukari standing behind him with everyone else. "...Yeah, because that's what it was." Kenshin said shutting his journal and sealing it away.

"Uh huh...what happened to your hands?" Iris asked.

"I did this to myself, using Salamander's full power to blow Trihexa's head off." Kenshin said.

"Then why is it-" Miyuki was cut off.

"Because it grew back. I hit him with the Quadruple Giga, he grew back, then the ass whoopin' commenced." Kenshin said.

Everyone gasped. "Don't even get me started on when Sirzechs stepped in and used his Human Shaped Aura of Destruction after Trihexa blasted me over here after Issei defeated Apophis in his Dragon Deification form."

"EH? !" Irina said. "He used it again? ! Is he alright? !"

"He's got a weak but stable pulse." Kenshin said. "Chachamaru, scan him just to be sure."

"Hai." Chachamaru scanned Issei. "...He's right. They're weak, but Issei-San's vitals are perfectly stable."

Everyone let out a sigh of relief. "He's not the only one who got a little reckless. I used the Dragon God of the Elements form as well." Kenshin said.

"What? ! Kenshin, Azazel implicitly told you and Issei not to use them again!" Hikari said.

"..." Kenshin flinched at the mention of Azazel. Yukari noticed this. "Kenshin...what happened?"

"..." Kenshin let out a heavy sigh. "You notice that I have Grayfia resting her head on my lap right?"

"Yes?" Rias said.

"Like I said, Sirzechs appeared, used his ultimate technique. The Human Shaped Aura of Destruction." Kenshin said. "He blew Trihexa away multiple times. He grew back. Issei used Ddraig's ultimate move, the Blazing Inferno of Scorching Flames, which is why he's in the shape he's in. He probably had to build the flames up in his abdomen. So his inside are probably severely burnt. Asia, Konoka, please heal him as much as you can."

"H-Hai!" Asia said.

"B-But, what about you Ken-kun?" Konoka said.

"Don't worry about me." Kenshin said. "Just bring Issei out of the danger zone."

"You were saying?" Sairaorg said.

"Sirzechs couldn't take it out, Issei couldn't take it out. Hell I couldn't take it out with a Sextuple Giga which is an swing of my sword firing off a blast at one million times my total power." Kenshin said. "But as it turns out our esteemed leaders, and I say that with no mocking tone, had a failsafe in place."

"A failsafe?" Sona asked.

"What I'm about to tell you isn't easy for me to say right now." Kenshin said. "Defeating Trihexa going to take a massive amount of time. I'm talking years. Completely sealing Trihexa would have better, but shelving the problem again isn't the conclusion we need. We'd just have the threat hanging over our heads again. Trihexa would just keep destroying in the meantime. That and it's not like we're good on combat strength. Say we beat it back once or twice. Great, but do you think it's going to just sit back and let us recover? No. Eventually our strength will be exhausted, and Issei had to go into a form that carries a potential death sentence to kill Apophis who's weaker than Trihexa. Any and everything we tried, it regenerated completely.

"So where is it? You still haven't gotten to why you feel this success cost too much." Mana asked.

"..." Kenshin put a hand over his left eye, it tensed slightly. "Aside from their Queens. Sirzechs, Falbium, and Serafall and their peerages entered the Isolation Barrier Field that Azazel made to battle Trihexa alongside the man himself, Michael, Odin, Zeus and other gods. They've all probably already implemented the plan in their territories and are in there with them."

A wave of great shock shot through everyone. "Onii-Sama/Onee-Sama/Azazel/Michael-Sama/Odin-Sama...are fighting that monster alongside just the other gods?" Rias, Sona, Hikari, Raynare, Irina, Dulio and Rossweisse all said with wide eyes.

Kenshin lifted Grayfia up and moved his leg, setting her back down. He then moved to get up, though it took a great bit of effort. "Kenshin, hey Kenshin you're just hurting yourself." Yukari said trying to grab his arm.

"I'm fine." Kenshin said getting to his feet, crossing his arm over his torso. "That's why this success cost too much. Yeah we technically won, but at what cost?" Kenshin said before his eyes narrowed. "Oh...and Sona...Serafall wanted me to tell you...that she was sorry, but she had to go. She felt like if she told you about this herself, she'd probably hesitate."

"Heh..." Sona had tears rolling down her cheeks. "And usually I'm the one keeping secrets from her."

"Onii-Sama..." Rias said, those same tears rolling down her face.

Hikari's bangs shadowed her eyes which also leaked tears. "Damn it Azazel..." She said gritting her teeth in anguish.

"...Thank you for your services Azazel." Raynare said.

"Dulio, the Tsurugi no Kami is over there. Could you go and grab it? You and Irina and Griselda if she's here are the only ones that can hold it without getting zapped." Kenshin said pointing to his right.

"Right." Dulio said taking off in that direction.

"Why did you bring it?" Irina asked. "Michael-Sama told you to never use it."

"God asked me to take the sword with me...I think the requests of God supersede Michael's." Kenshin said. "And trust me, I needed every bit of that sword just to stay alive."

"I see..." Irina said.

"So Odin-Sama's gone too?" Rossweisse asked. "Who's running things in Asgard then?"

"I dunno, probably one of other Norse gods not named Thor or Baldur because they probably went with him." Kenshin said.

"Onii-Chan, why are you holding your arm over yourself like that?" Miyuki asked.

"Because it hurts to breathe." Kenshin said. "Chachamaru...scan me for injuries. I know I'm a tenderized steak right now, I wanna know how badly I'm hurt."

"Hai." Chachamaru scanned Kenshin's body. A screen appeared in front of her. "Multiple cracked bones and muscle tears, in addition to the severe burning on your hands a few fingers are broken, four broken ribs which is probably why it's hurting to breathe. There's also a minor crack on the back of your skull and one of your lungs is punctured...all in all...I don't even know how you're standing." Chachamaru said.

"Kenshin...are you going to be alright?" Negi asked.

"I don't know." Kenshin said. "Sirzechs also said that the Underworld is in our hands now, Rias, Sona, Sairaorg, Seekvaira, and myself, he recognized Vali as the true heir of Lucifer, that he's different from Rizevim...and that he wanted Issei and I to become Satans." Kenshin smiled a bit. "He sure left a lot on our plates." His eyes widened as he suddenly felt sick. He quickly unsealed a bucket from one of his seals as he began to retch. Yukari ran over and tried to comfort him anyway she could. He retched a couple of more times before falling to the side passed out.

Yukari looked into the bucket. "Chachamaru, you might want to add internal bleeding to that list of injuries. What he just spewed up is mostly blood. We need to get these two to a hospital immediately.

"Right." Everyone said.

With that everyone vanished to the Underworld.

Draconis: Been on the job hunt, that's why this took longer than I would have liked.

Kenshin: Man I took a fucking beating.

Draconis: Even main characters get given the slip, lose or just get straight up bitched out. This was the very latter. First Physically as Trihexa was beating Kenshin quite handily and whatever Kenshin tried, even using his ace in the hole, the Demigod State did next to nothing. Kenshin was having to hurt himself to damage Trihexa who just either put up a barrier or ate it. Then the mind games came in play. Normally fatal blows from not only Kenshin, but Issei and Sirzechs meant nothing, he'd just keep coming back. The sting of this personal loss is one Kenshin will feel for quite some time. Time to go back to the workshop. Also before anyone says anything. I know Trihexa canonically doesn't talk, but the way I've been building him, it, whatever. I had to give out dialouge.
