And now some of our friends are gonna seek out Aladdin's father and the Forty Thieves. Enjoy!
News of Aladdin's father being alive was still a big shock to everyone, especially Aladdin. After regaining his composure, Aladdin had gone back to his old hovel to think. Everyone allowed him to go as they knew this was important to him.
But that was in the morning and how the sun was starting to set. So Jasmine flew off with Carpet to find her soon-to-be-husband and check on him.
Sora and his team were at Jasmine's balcony as Sultan had agreed for them to stay at the palace as long as they needed since they were Aladdin and Jasmine's friends and were a part of the wedding.
Sora, Riku, and Kairi overlooked the city. Donald, Goofy, Max, Lea, and Myde were eating some of the leftover food from the wedding. Roxas, Isa, Ven, Terra, Aqua, Xion, and Naminé were playing cards. Mickey, Minnie, Oswald, and Ortensia were chatting to the Restoration Committee and the 4 Turks through the hologram modes on Mickey and Oswald's Gummiphones.
Leon wore black gloves, black, zipper-lined shoes, a silver Griever necklace, a white undershirt, a short-sleeved black jacket with a white fur collar, red wings on the back and a red Griever symbol on each shoulder, three brown belts on his left forearm, three buckles on his right thigh, black pants also sporting a vertical zipper going down the side of each leg, and wore two brown belts and two black ones around his hips, all of which were quite loose except for one, a worn black one.
Cloud wore a high collar sleeveless indigo shirt, black pants and boots, and black cloth covering his left leg and arm. He also had on a sliver pauldron, and his chest was covered by two straps, held in place by a badge representing the wolf Fenrir.
Yuffie wore a black headband with white lining, an unzipped, dark grey combat vest with a black strap dangling from the right pocket overtop a navy blue tank top with white floral designs. She also wore a white wristband on her right wrist and a grey, fingerless glove on her left arm. Her shorts were slightly darker and had another black strap dangling from the left side. She also wore black, over-the-knee socks with white stripes at the top underneath dark tan sneaker boots that were knee-high in length.
Aerith wore a carmine pink and white top held up by a string that wrapped around her neck. Underneath this top, she wore a pink dress with a horizontal white stripe near the bottom. She wore yet another dress underneath the first one, this dress being white and slightly longer than the first. She also wore a pink ribbon on her head like a headband and brown boots.
Cid wore goggles and wore a necklace with a rectangular charm. He also wore a white T-shirt with two buttons descending from the neck. His baggy pants were blue and have a very wide, orange waistband with thin, vertical stripes on it. His pants were worn rather high, with the waistband coming up to just under his ribcage. He also wore grey socks and black shoes.
Tifa wore a black, leather tank top with a zipper down the front overtop a slightly longer, white tank top, a black, leather skort with two black ribbons tied on either leg. The back of this skort was quite long and reached the floor. She also wears black, leather gloves and black and white shoes, with black ribbons tied around each.
Zack wore armor similar to that of Hercules, though his was grey, as opposed to Hercules's orange, two silver pauldrons, black gloves, a brown guard over his abdomen that was worn over the armor, two belts over the aforementioned guard, blue pants, and turtleneck. He also had on brown, knee-high sandals with black socks underneath them.
The Turks wore their usual uniforms: black jackets, pants, and shoes.
Elena also had on a white undershirt.
Tseng had on a white undershirt as well. This time though, his hair was loose.
Reno had his jacket unbuttoned, his white undershirt untucked, and goggles on his forehead.
Rude wore his sunglasses over his eyes and also wore a black undershirt with his jacket unbuttoned.
"So far no villains have tried their luck in infiltrating the town." said Leon.
"Which is a relief considering how hard we worked to rebuild it after it's destruction." added Yuffie.
"That's good to hear." said Mickey. "How are things at the castle?"
"After the snap was reversed, it took some time to make things steady again," said Cloud. "Luckily, with us helping Ansem, Dilan, Even, Aeleus, and Ienzo, things are going more steady."
"Oh that's wonderful!" smiled Minnie.
"Zack, Cloud, and Tifa have been a real help in our group as well." said Aerith.
"Yeah, ever since Merlin had to head back to his homeworld, we only managed to pull through on the small side." added Cid.
"Glad we could help." smiled Tifa.
"How're things in Midgar?" asked Oswald.
"The President's been trying to make sure things are running smoothly, more so than his father ever did." said Tseng.
"Was the first President Shinra that bad?" asked Ortensia.
"Looking back, pretty much." nodded Rude.
"Rufus on the other hand is better." said Reno. "During the whole incident with the remnants of Sephiroth and our alliance with Cloud, he's softened over a whole lot."
"And thanks to you guys, that alliance grew into a good one and now the president is trying to help Shinra stay steady." added Elena.
"Glad we could help." giggled Minnie.
"Did Sephiroth himself return?" asked Cloud.
"Not at all." said Tseng. "I doubt he would want to resume his old goals until after Xehanort strikes."
"Luckily, we're gonna make sure that doesn't happen." said Oswald, determined.
"Good to hear." said Zack.
"Well thanks for the updates." said Mickey. "You guys need anything else, just give a call. You're still welcome to the castle as well."
"Will do Mickey." nodded Leon.
"Have fun at the wedding." said Tifa as the Committee cut their call.
"We'll make sure Rufus knows he can count on you guys if our world is in harm again." said Tseng.
"Thanks Tseng." smiled Ortensia.
"Tell Vincent we said hi!" said Minnie.
Elena smiled. "We will."
"Happy trails you lot." smirked Reno. (1)
With that, the Turks cut their call as well.
The four royals rejoined their friends.
"Things good over in Radiant Garden and Midgar?" asked Terra.
"Going good." nodded Mickey.
"Any sign of Aladdin and Jasmine?" asked Minnie.
"Still no sign of them." sighed Sora. "I really hope Aladdin's ok."
Kairi put a hand on her boyfriend's shoulder and smiled. "I'm sure he's ok." she said softly. "From what you told us, Aladdin doesn't seem like the kind of guy to sulk."
"She's right." said Riku. "He'll come around. And if not, Jasmine will help him."
"They are made for each other!" said Donald before eating an apple.
"You can say that again. A-hyuck!" nodded Goofy.
At that moment, the twenty saw Carpet flew towards them, carrying Aladdin, Jasmine, and Abu. They had changed out of their wedding attire and into more comfortable clothes. Aladdin was now in the same clothing he wore when the buoys came to his hovel. Jasmine wore a pink long-sleeved version of her normal outfit. Ab u wore his usual vest and hat as he sat on Aladdin's shoulder. Aladdin was also holding onto the Oracle's staff.
Slowly, Carpet descended onto the balcony, allowing Aladdin and Jasmine to get off. The group stopped what they were doing and walked up to them.
"Welcome back." said Aqua.
"You still ok Aladdin?" Goofy asked worriedly.
"I'm good Goofy." Aladdin replied. "Jasmine snapped me out of it."
"That's what friends do." said Ven with a smile.
Jasmine giggled. "We're gonna put the wedding on hold for now. I think it's worth it if Aladdin is able to find his father." she explained.
"Good idea." said Daisy.
"It would be nice to have his father here to see Aladdin get married." said Donald.
"So what will you do now?" asked Isa, curious.
Aladdin glanced down at the oracle stadd and nodded. "I do. I'm going to ask. I have to know." he replied.
"Alright." said Sora with an encouraging smile. "Go ahead. We're here for you."
Aladdin smiled gratefully as he stepped to the edge of the balcony. Almost instantly, the staff began to glow and it floated up into the air, allowing the Oracle to appear. She looked at Aladdin.
"Have you chosen your question?" she asked.
"I have." Aladdin nodded.
"Then ask." she said as if she knew what Aladdin was about to say.
Aladdin took a deep breath and asked, "Where is my father?"
Sora, Jasmine, Abu, and Co. listened intently.
Oracle pointed out the horizon. "Follow the trail of the Forty Thieves. Your father is trapped within their world." she replied.
Instantly Everyone was worried. Even Isa looked considerably worried.
"The Forty Thieves?! Is he hurt?! How long has he been their prisoner?!" Aladdin asked worriedly.
Oracle shook her head. "I am sorry. I can only answer one question." she replied before she vanished back into the staff as it floated back into Aladdin's grasp.
Aladdin then looked determined as he looked at his friends.
"I have to go. Guys, would any of you like to come and help me?" he asked. "There may be Heartless and they are your specialty."
Sora smiled. "Of course!" he replied.
"Take as long as you need." Jasmine told Aladdin with an encouraging look.
"I'll be back in time for our wedding, I promise." Aladdin promised as he and Jasmine hugged.
Desert:
After a while, Sora, Riku, Lea, Isa, Goofy, Max, Myde, Aladdin, Abu, and Iago were flying on carpet. Everyone else chose to stay behind to help Genie fix the palace and in case more Heartless attacked.
"Remind me again why I got dragged into this?" the mullet-haired former Nobody groaned.
"So you wouldn't slack off building." Lea replied.
"Look at it this way Myde, at least you'll be doing something useful without being told." said Isa.
Myde shrugged. "Whatever. Hopefully this'll be a simple rescue mission." he said as he laid back.
"No one said it would be." said Riku.
"Yeah, like when we had to rescue Aqua, Ven, Terra, and Rufus." said Sora
"True." nodded Myde.
"I should have stayed with the Genie!" Iago complained as he hugged onto Goofy's shoulder in fear of falling off. "Manual labor beats danger any day!" he cried.
"Aw come on Iago." chuckled Goofy. "Where's your sense of adventure?"
"It's lying in the palace safe and away from the horrors outside it!" Iago whined in response.
Riku, Goofy, Max, and Lea laughed while Isa rolled his eyes with a smirk.
Carpet flew down near the sandy ground so they could get a better look at the trail of horse tracks they were following. It looked like their target had been there recently.
"Good, the trail's still fresh." said Aladdin.
"Well now our job's just gotten a little more easier." chuckled Lea.
"I think I can see them from here." said Max as he looked ahead, seeing a few thieves on horseback turning a cliffside corner.
"Good. Fly on Carpet!" said Sora.
"Definitely should have stayed with the Genie…" Iago cried as Carpet sped up to catch the horses.
But just as they turned the corner, Carpet skidded to a stop. Before anyone could ask why Capret stopped, they saw that they had nearly rammed into the thieves on horseback as they had stopped right in front of the sea.
"Shh…" Aladdin whispered.
Everyone silently nodded as Carpet flew back behind the cliff.
"...Phew." Aladin sighed once they were hidden. "Well they have nowhere to go, we have them trapped." he said to the group in a confident manner.
"Perfect." Lea smirked as he, Sora, Riku, Goofy, Max, and Isa looked ready to fight.
"Hey as long as it works in our favor, this should be easy." said Myde.
"First of all, nothings ever easy." snorted Iago. "And second, 'we'?! They are Forty Thieves. We are you, a rug, a monkey, two dogs and five humans with Keyblades, and me… wait, don't count me."
Aladdin quickly shushed Iago as he, Sora, and Riku peeked out from behind the cliffside.
"They're just standing there." said Aladdin, confused.
"Really?" Isa asked in confusion.
"That's odd." said Max.
And Aladdin was right. The 40 thieves and their horses just remanded where they were, completely silent.
But after a few moments of silence, Cassim raised his arms into the air.
"Open sesame!" he called.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake and the waters of the sea began to grow rough and wild. Then, the water split in ½, revealing a stone path that led all the way across the large body of water to another cliffside. On the cliff face across the sea, an opening appeared leading straight to what looked like their lair.
Without another moment to waste, all the thieves rushed across the path and straight into their lair. Once they were all inside, Aladdin, Sora, and Riku got back onto Carpet.
"Let's move! Hang on!" exclaimed Aladdin.
Carpet flew down the path as fast as lightning. But as they were crossing the sea, the water began to rapidly fill back up behind them at the same time the cliff's opening started to close. Carpet moved as fast as he could, luckily making it inside the lair's entrance just before it closed on them, tossing the group onto the dusty ground.
"Oof!" grunted Sora as he landed.
"Lea… you're on my leg…" groaned Myde.
"Sorry." Lea said as he got up.
"Everyone ok?" asked Riku.
"We should be." said Max as he helped Goofy up.
The group looked over a rock and into the lair. The lair was golden and misty, like a long-forgotten city.
"Wow…" Aladdin said in awe. "Now I know how the Forty Thieves manages to avoid capture for so long."
"Oooh…" Abu said in awe as he stood on Aladdin's shoulders.
"I hear that." said Sora as he looked awed as well.
"For a villains' lair, it actually looks cool." said Myde.
"I actually agree with that." Riku said.
"This lair may look cool, but the Castle That Never Was looked better." said Lea.
"You miss being a bad guy?" Max laughed.
Lea laughed as well, shaking his head. "No way! Just comparing lairs." he replied. "Though I will say that when it comes to castles, I prefer Disney Castle."
"I can agree to that," said Isa.
"Thanks you two." smiled Goofy.
"No prob." Lea smirked.
"Yeah, yeah. Very interesting, but enough sightseeing!" Iago exclaimed as he flew onto Sora's shoulder. "Let's just get this over with! I want to get in, get out, and go home! Actually, I'd rather skip to the 'going home' part."
Aladdin shook his head in amusement at Iago's cowardness. "Come on." he said to his group.
They ventured their way into the lair, searching for the forty thieves.
"No Heartless around here." said Riku.
"Or Nobodies and Unversed." added Isa.
"At least that's a good sign." said Goofy.
"Just keep your eyes peeled." said Sora.
As they wandered further, a familiar voice grew louder and louder.
"Wonder who that is." said Goofy, confused.
"I think we're about to find out." said Lea.
"I really wish we aren't." muttered Iago.
The group looked around a nearby corner, finding all 40 thieves standing in the center of a large space in the middle of the lair. The one who was talking was Sa'luk.
"There they are…" whispered Riku.
"We could have had all the loot from the wedding. But we followed the king's plan." Sa'luk growled. "This is what we have to show for our trouble in Agrabah: NOTHING!" he yelled as he slammed his clawed fist onto a nearby wooden table, destroying instantly.
"Someone's got anger issues." mused Lea.
"And I thought Isa was angry when in Berserk Mode." shuddered Myde.
"I don't go in Berserk Mode anymore." said Isa. "Though you do raise an interesting point."
The rest of the thieves chattered excitedly as Sa'luk approached the man in the blue robe Sora, Riku, and Aladdin had fought earlier. Only now, his face was revealed.
"Wait, didn't we fight that guy?" Sora asked.
"Yeah, I recognize that robe and pin." said Riku.
"Your time draws to a close, Cassim." Sa'luk scowled.
Aladdin's eyes widened when he recognized the man from the Oracle's image. "Cassim? My father…" he murmured.
But Sora and Co. barely heard him as they focused on the scene.
Cassim simply raised an eyebrow at Sa'luk, apparently unaffected. "If you're talking about spilling my blood, well, I just don't see that happening." he said as he folded his arms and smirked defiantly.
"Then let me open your eyes!" Sa'luk growled in anger.
The grey-skinned man swung his claws at Cassim. Cassim was about to dodge, when out of nowhere, Aladdin tackled Sa'luk to the ground, stopping the attack on his father. Sora and his friends didn't even have a chance to react.
Aladdin sat on Sa'luk's back, trying to hold him down as he looked at Cassim.
"Run, I've got him!" Aladdin shouted. "I'm Aladdin, you're my father!"
Cassim gasped.
"Aladdin!" Sora shouted as he, Riku, Lea, Goofy, Max, Isa, and Myde rushed out of their hiding place. But before they could, Shadow, Bandit, and Soldier Heartless summoned around them.
"Of four Odin's sake!" Isa muttered.
"Dammit!" cursed Lea. "How did they summon these things so fast?"
"Gawrsh, they must be more clever than we thought." guessed Goofy.
Sa'luk rolled over, pushing Aladdin onto the ground. "So you brought more intruders to our hideout boy?" Sa'luk growled as he pinned Aladdin to the ground, causing the dagger to fall out. "I'm actually impressed that some of you were able to find this place. But you won't live to tell the tail! Sorry that I don't know about your father, boy, but I'll send you to meet your other ancestors!"
Cassim picked up the dagger and realization dawned upon him.
Sa'luk tried to claw a pale Aladdin, but Cassim grabbed his hand.
"Let him go." Cassim ordered.
All the heroes and villains looked at him.
"The boy... is my son." Cassim revealed.
The 40 thieves gasped in shock.
Cassim raised the dagger into the air. "I gave this dagger to my wife years ago. I told her to give it to our newborn son… Aladdin." he added.
Everyone gasped in shock, even the heroes who were completely thrown for a loop.
"What?!" Lea exclaimed.
"Aladdin's the son of the King of Thieves?!" exclaimed Max.
"No way! No stinkin' way!" exclaimed Myde.
"Wait what?! We fought Aladdin's dad at the wedding and we didn't even know it?!" exclaimed Sora.
"Didn't see that comin'." said Goofy.
"That's… unexpected." said Isa.
Aladdin's eyes widened as he stood up. "You are the King of Thieves?" he asked Cassim.
"Like it or not boy, we're blood." said Cassim as he threw the dagger to Aladdin. He then approached Aladdin and put his hands on his shoulders. "Look at you. I'd thought I'd never see you again. Has it been so long?"
Aladdin started to smile in joy. His expression was matched by Sora, Riku, Goofy, Lea, Isa, Myde, and Max.
Sa'luk suddenly shoved Aladdin out of the way.
"Blood or mud, the boy is an intruder." Sa'uk said with a dark grin. "And we have rules about intruders."
The thieves murmured in agreement as some grabbed Iago, Carpet, and Abu. The Heartless surrounding the Keyblade Masters slowly closed in on them.
Sa'luk's dark grin grew. "He has found our secret lair. He has seen too much. He must die. They must all die!" he exclaimed.
"Die?! He's your son!" Iago cried in horror.
Abu nodded in agreement.
"I'm his friend! Cast a vote for mercy here!" Iago added, making Abu roll his eyes in exasperation.
"He's your son!" said Goofy.
"You can't just get rid of him!" Lea said in agreement.
Sora couldn't believe what was happening. "Yeah! Especially since you've been separated for so long and you've just reunited!"
"Have some mercy shown like Iago said!" added Max.
Sa'luk smirked at Casim. "Yes, Cassim, mercy would be so like you. Soft and weak." he sneered.
Cassim glared at Sa'luk.
The thieves softly chartered among themselves about the strength of their leader, thinking that Sa'luk should be in charge. This was setting the heroes on edge.
Cassim appeared to be thinking when out of nowhere, he said,
"Kill them."
The thieves cheered in excitement as Sora dropped his jaw in surprise. The other heroes are speechless too.
"Are you serious?!" exclaimed Riku.
"Please don't!" pleaded Myde.
"You've gotta be kidding!" exclaimed Lea.
"Don't do this!" begged Goofy.
Sa'luk grabbed Aladdin and raised his clawed hand into the air. He was stopped in his tracks when a voice spoke out.
"Or the boy could," Cassim spoke thoughtfully. "Yes the boy could... no."
"What?" asked Isa.
"What is it?!" demanded Lea.
"Nothing, probably a bad idea." Cassim replied, shaking his head.
"C'mon, let's hear it." begged Max.
Csssim held his chin in thought. "Well, it seems to me that... oh never mind."
"What?" asked Sa'luk, curious as well.
The King of Thieves seemed to enjoy keeping everyone in the room in suspense. After what felt like an hour, he spoke again.
"The boy and his friends could face 'the challenge.'" he replied.
The thieves all grinned in excitement as Cassim approached Aladdin.
"That's that, my son and his friends shall face 'the challenge.'" he smiled.
"And I shall be the one to test him." Sa'luk grinned evilly.
The heroes sighed in relief as Iago landed on Aladdin's shoulder. "A test, huh? Ah, that's not so bad. Maybe it will be multiple choice?"
Outside the lair:
Lightning flashed outside of the lair. All of the 40 thieves were gathered at the top of the cliff, circling around a stone battle arena. Abu and Iago were trapped in a locked cage and Carpet was pinned down by a heavy overweight thief. Goofy, Max, Lea, Isa, and Myde had their wrists chained to the rock wall, keeping them prisoner. Finally, standing in the arena were Sora, Riku, Aladdin, Cassim, and Sa'luk. Cassim allowed Aladdin to have two of his friends be his partners and Aladdin chose Sora and Riku.
"Gawrsh, we gotta find a way to get outta here!" Goofy exclaimed worriedly.
"That's not looking very good Goofy." muttered Myde.
"Yeah, I can't use my fire to get us free with these damn things on!" Lea grunted as he struggled to break free, but to no avail.
"And we can't even summon our weapons." added Isa. "Not even our Keyblades."
"Especially since our ride home is grounded." Iago added as he gestured to Carpet. "And Al? Well... it's been nice knowin' 'em. Sora and Riku too."
During that time, Sora, Aladdin, and Riku stood with Cassim across from Sa'luk.
"What's goin' on, Dad?" asked Aladdin.
"This seems more like a battle." said Riku.
"Correct." nodded Cassim. "But it is simple enough... only one man survives."
Sora and Riku looked back at Sa'luk. He didn't look as muscular as Thanos or as powerful as Kai, but did look pretty intimidating, especially with his claw weapon.
Cassim then put a hand on Aladdin's shoulder and smiled.
"But you're my son. And your two friends have a lot of spirit in them." Cassim told his son. "You'll be that man. Knock 'em dead kid, seriously." He added as he placed the dagger in Aladdin's hand before walking back to the crowd of thieves.
Sora, Riku, and Aladdin watched as Sa'luk adjusted his claws.
"You ready?" asked Aladdin.
"You kidding? 'Course we are!" said Sora with a smile.
"We've fought tougher foes before." said Riku with a smirk. "As long as we stick together, we can take down that thug."
Aladdin nodded. "Yeah, you're right." he said as he held his dagger in one hand and his sword in the other.
Sora summoned Master's Defender and Riku summoned End of Pain.
A thief lowered a sword, indicating the start of the challenge.

Mission: Defeat Sa'luk
Party Members:
Sora
Riku
Aladdin
Not even one second after the match started, Sa'luk charged forwards and tried to scratch Aladdin with his claws, but missed. Aladdin fell back into the arms of some thieves. They shove him back in toward Sa'luk. During that, Sora jumped at Sa'luk and slashed him a few times before the thief suddenly slashed his shoulder. As Sora stumped back, Riku side-kicked Cassim in the bask and bashed his Keyblade against his head. Sa'luk growled as he punched Riku in the chest, but Riku was able to dodge any more attacks as Sora blasted Sa'luk back with a Dark Firaga spell. Sa'luk stumbled towards Aladdin and immediately grabbed him. But Aladdin kicked out Sa'luk's legs, causing him to fall.
Sa'luk got up and tried to get Aladdin again. Aladdin ducked and kicked Sa'luk in the ribs. Using this distraction, Sora charged at Sa'luk, slashed him several times, and then fired Pulse Tracer against him. As Sa'luk landed, he jumped at Sora and kicked him in the chest before slashing his chest. Riku leapt at Sa'luk and slashed him twice before he jumped upo and casted Blizzaga against the thief. Sa'luk then kicked Riku twice, sending the silverhead to the ground. Aladdin tried to attack again, but Sa'luk swung again and scratched Aladdin.
"Ah!" Aladdin exclaimed as he grabbed his arm, which was bleeding.
Sora charged back Sa'luk, only to get sucker-punched in the face before getting punched in the chest as well. Riku quickly basked Sora up as he kicked Sa'luk in the face and fired Sparkaga at him. Sa'luk stumbled back and then slashed Riku's arms with his claws when Aladdin suddenly came back and punched Sa'luk in the back of the neck. Sa'luk growled as he kicked Aladdin away, only for a recovered Sora to fire a Fission Firaga against him. Sa'luk suddenly grabbed Sora and threw him into Riku, causing them both to tumble to the ground.
Sa'luk dropped his claws toward Aladdin. Aladdin pulled out the Midas dagger and fended them off. They had a power struggle, Sa'luk pushing Aladdin back. Aladdin ran into a torch and it fell, creating a wall of flames that blocks the rest of the thieves. Sa'luk punched Aladdin in the face. Aladdin got back up and kept fighting. Sa'luk punched Aladdin again, causing him to fall to the group. Sa'luk picked Aladdin up.
"No!" cried Cassim.
"Let him go you son of a bitch!" came a voice.
Sa'luk looked back to see Sora and Riku run up as they gripped their Keyblades hard. Both had cuts, bruises, tears in their clothes. It had been Sora who spoke.
Sa'luk smirked as he threw Aladdin off the cliff.
"NO!" shouted Sora.
"Aladdin!" cried Riku.
Without hesitation, Sora jumped down the cliff towards Aladdin. Riku followed suit.
Aladdin, falling down close to the cliff face, managed to stick the Midas Dagger into the cliff. He stopped sliding and dropped down onto a small ledge. Sora and Riku landed next to him.
"Al, you ok?" asked Riku.
"I am… for now." Aladdin replied.
Suddenly, they heard a grinding noise. Sa'luk was sliding down the cliff face using his claws. Sa'luk lands on the ledge, casting Sora, Riku, and Aladdin to move back.
Aladdin looked up and saw the Midas Dagger, still in the cliff face. He had an idea.
"Let's finish this!" he said, determined.
"Lead on Aladdin!" said Sora.
Sa'luk swung his claws at Aladdin, but he quickly dodged him. Sora bashed Sa'luk in the face before he fired Raging Storm at him, causing Sa'luk to scream in pain. Riku then fired Aeroza at the thief, causing him to levitate in the air. Aladdin jumped and grabbed the dagger. He swung and kicked Sa'luk.
Sa'luk lost his balance and fell off the cliff, screaming. Aladdin reached to help him, but Sa'luk was already gone. Sora, Riku, and Aladdin looked over the edge, speechless.
(Xaldin Boss Fight from Kingdom Hearts II ends)
Then, a rope came down for them. They climbed up, Aladdin stopping to pick up the Midas Dagger along the way. Aladdin looked at the dagger, angrily, before grabbing it and continuing to climb up the cliff face.
Riku, Sora, and Aladdin reached the top of the cliff face as the brunette casted Curaga on the three of them. They were then surrounded by the Forty Thieves, angry expressions on their faces.
"I thought our side won?" Isago whimpered.
"And they don't look happy." Isa said, concerned for his friends.
"Look, I...I... I didn't mean…" began Aladdin.
Then, Cassim came up to the three as the thieves released Goofy, Max, Lea, Isa, Myde, Abu, Iago, and Carpet, who all gathered next to Sora, Riku, and Aladdin.
"You killed Sa'luk. The code of the Forty Thieves is very clear on this point." said Cassim before smiling. "You're in!"
The thieves suddenly cheered, much to the hero's confusion.
"We're… in?" Sora asked in confusion.
("Welcome to the Forty Thieves" from "Aladdin and the King of Thieves" plays)
Thieves: Congratulations, bub
You've joined the club
And everybody here agrees
Sora, Riku, and Aladdin found themselves tied up and started retreating backwards from three thieves approaching him.
Thieves: We got the finest blend of nearly-honest men,
Welcome to the Forty Thieves!
The three then fell over as the thieves caught them before lifting Sora, Riku, and Aladdin into the air. As they landed, Lea, Isa, and Max untied them as Goofy and Max joined them.
Thieves: A fraternity of thugs that you can trust
There's nothin' up our eighty sleeves
Got lotsa grub to share
Pull up an easy chair!
Welcome to the Forty Thieves!
Sora, Riku,a dn Aladdin were immediately thrown into chairs made out of bones. Iago tried to hide, but was then distracted by some stolen treasure.
Thieves: Now you get to lie and cheat
Never have to brush your teeth
One theieve's rotten teeth broke, much to the heroes' disgust.
Iago was sneakily approaching the treasure when some thieves grabbed him and set him on a table. They placed a blanket over him as well as a medicine hat while sticking a thermometer in his beak and put a bowl of soup in front of him.
Thieves: But we always aim to please
Care for one another
You'll never miss your mother
"Oh, I love you guys." Iago said sarcastically.
Thieves: Schemin' up a scam,
Out on the lam,
Takin' whatever we please
And if you like to lurk
You're gonna love this work!
Welcome to the Forty Thieves!
Sora, Riku, and Aladdin were thrown out of their chairs. Iago tries to get to the treasure again, only for a thrive to throw knives at him.
Sora, Riku, and Aladdin tried to climb a rope, but stopped when they saw a thief above them. Another cut them down while several more shoved Goofy, Max, Lea, Isa, and Myde at the three.
Thieves: Welcome to the Forty Thieves!
Cassim: Together we're the perfect team
(Thieves: Aaaah)
The thieves moved Aladdin and Abu to Cassim, the King of Thieves side-hugging his son.
Cassim: Larceny is in the genes
(Thieves: Aaaah)
Dare to share the family dream?
(Thieves: Aaaah)
Iago looked greedily at the treasure as he sat in it.
Iago: Live a life o' leisure
Countin' all your treasure!
Iago was then picked up by a thief and thrown at Aladdin, who caught him as Abu stood on his shoulder. Sora, Riku, Lea, Isa, Goofy, Max, and Myde stood with the three before backing up in fear as several thieves approached them.
Thieves: As an honorary member of the gang,
There's no one alive ever leaves
Ya gotta snatch and sneak
Or else your future's bleak
We got a lifetime contract that you're bound to keep
You wanna save your skin,
