"You did such an amazing job, Yang!" Ruby had practically been buzzing around me like a rapier wasp ever since the end of the match. She'd hugged me at least fifty times and was skipping around Blake and I in excitement. It was a pretty big boost to my ego after coming so close to a loss. It was times like these having a little sister felt really great.

"Yeah, you are pretty amazing," Blake's tone was different, and she was giving me a look I was very quickly becoming familiar with. I did my best to hide my blush with a bigger smile.

"Aw, shucks, guys. It was nothing. Weiss is the real hero. She weakened that Flynt guy just enough that he couldn't hurt me too bad before I got to him." It was true. Neon had distracted me and tired me out long enough I wouldn't have been able to beat them both if Weiss hadn't pushed the guy to within an inch of being KO'd. I just finished the job.

"Oh, don't worry! Weiss gets to hear just how proud of her I am once the nurse lets me get into her room," Ruby huffed and crossed her arms angrily.

"Wait you've been to the infirmary already," I asked curiously. She'd been with Blake and I since I made it back from the stage, and I was pretty sure she'd stayed with Blake until I met up with them.

"Yeah, I ran there and back before they checked her in. I already knew they'd tell me to wait, they kept me out for hours when you had to check in after our fight with Roman Torchwick." She was still crossing her arms and pouting as we strolled towards the exit of the colosseum. Sometimes I forget just how fast she's gotten.

"We'll shower Weiss with our affection as soon as she's well," Blake promised, placing a gentle hand on Ruby's shoulder. It was something so small, but made me so happy. Ruby never really had too many friends in Signal, or even from the neighborhood in Patch, and I was glad Blake wanted to be hers just as much as she wanted to be my girlfriend.

"Hopefully not too much affection," I whispered, a quick raise of my eyebrow and playful smirk made her blush redder than Ruby's cloak.

"S- so what are we going to do while we wait for Weiss to get back," Blake asked, trying to cover up her embarrassment.

"Oh! How about we do some more training at the gym! There's no such thing as too much training," Ruby bounced on the balls of her feet, way too excited about the idea. I looked awkwardly at Blake and she returned the look, neither of us were all too happy about the idea but I wasn't too sure how to tell Ruby.

"Hey, guys!" Jaune shouted from across the courtyard, waving to get our attention.

"Yang, that was spectacular," Pyrrha called out, all smiles and bright green eyes. Blake's sigh of relief was closer to a purr as it rolled off her lips. We were both pretty relieved to see Team JNPR making their way towards us.

"Oh! Hey, guys!" Ruby dashed over to meet them and excitedly jumped into Pyrrha's arms. Again, I couldn't help but smile. I was so proud of her.

"Hey, Yang," Blake nudged me softly.

"Yeah, babe?"

"Want to… um… do, anything tonight?" Her cheeks were red and the yellow ribbon she was wearing to hide her ears tugged towards the back of her skull. She looked so adorable when she was embarrassed.

"You mean like a date," I asked playfully, raising an eyebrow at her.

"Um… yeah, sure… a date," she answered back.

"We can head back to the ice cream spot-"

"Ice cream? I love ice cream! Ren, wanna go get some ice cream? Where can we even get good ice cream on campus all they have is that sugar-free stuff on campus, blegh." Nora was talkative as ever and super excited.

"Oh! Um, I didn't-" Blake started, but I looked up as someone else shouted over the crowd.

"Hey, guys," it was easy to tell where the shout had come from, you could make out Neptune's highlighter blue hair anywhere.

"Yang, that was awesome! You should've seen it, you were out there like hyah! And then that Neon chick pissed you off and you were all ROAR!" Sun and the rest of his team were just as excited as JNPR had been.

"Looks like it's a group date," I chuckled, playfully nudging Blake.

"... yeah. That's fine." She sounded a little down, but I couldn't really tell why.

"Don't worry. Your cone is on me," I kissed her on the cheek and reached for her hand, gripping it tight in mine. She nuzzled into the kiss and nodded, flashing me a quick smile. I guessed that was enough convincing.

"We'll have to spring Weiss out of the infirmary, guys," I called out to everyone. There's no way we could've gone without her.

"A heist? Sounds like fun, I'm in," Sun smirked, definitely ready to cause some trouble.

"Hey… wasn't Ruby just with us," Jaune asked confusedly.

"Ruby Rose set me down this instant, you scoundrel!"

"I've got Weiss, guys," Ruby chuckled, carrying Weiss bridle style.

Sometimes it really payed off having a little sister.
