Hey everyone! Listen, I am really sorry for the lack of updates. College started for me back at the end of August. I have five classes I have to do at home which occupies a lot of my time. So until breaks during the winter, spring, and summer, chapters may not come as much as they used to. I hope you all understand.
Now, another breather chapter where Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Lena, and Violet interact with April, May, and June. Like Super Sayian 3 Odd, May and June's personalities and voices have been switched.
Also… OVER 120 REVIEWS! WOO-HOO!
Anyways, enjoy!
"Girls!" Daisy exclaimed happily as she wrapped her nieces in a hug, which they gladly returned. Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Minnie smiled at the scene. "Oh this is such a wonderful surprise!"
"You weren't at the house when we got back from Aunt Delilah's, so we figured you were at the castle." said April as they separated their hug.
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that." Daisy giggled sheepishly.
"No worries Aunt Daisy." May said reassuringly. "We know that you're usually busy around here as the queen's Lady-In-Waiting."
"Thank you girls." Daisy said, relieved. "By the way, how was your stay?"
"Not really exciting, but better than nothing at all." June shrugged. "By the way, Aunt Delilah says 'Hi.'"
"By the way, loving your new look Aunt Daisy.'' April complimented as she looked at Daisy's world-traveling attire.
"Aww! Thank you April." Daisy smiled, touched.
"You girls still haven't changed at all." Donald smiled fondly.
"Uncle Donald!" the female triplets exclaimed when they saw their honorary uncle.
"Hey girls." Donald smiled as he hugged them.
"Still traveling around the world?" asked June.
"Sure am." Donald replied. "It's great to see you again."
"You too." said April. "Oh, and congratulations on the engagement."
"Thanks April." smiled Donald.
"When's the wedding?" May asked excitedly.
"It won't be for a while." Donald replied.
"Yeah, aside from the preparations, we still have a lot of stuff going on." Mickey explained.
"That makes sense." said April before she and her sisters smiled at the three familiar faces.
"Hi King Mickey, Queen Minnie, Goofy." the three said in unison.
"A-hyuck! Hiya girls!" greeted Goofy.
"It's nice to see you three again." smiled Mickey.
"You guys too." said June. "By the way, nice new attire Mickey."
"You too Minnie." said May. "They suit you both."
"Aww, thank you girls." Minnie giggled.
"Come on, our friends are gonna want to meet you." said Mickey.
"Friends?" June asked.
"Oh, you mean your world-traveling friends?" asked May.
"And a whole lot more." said Donald as he opened the doors.
The eight toons walked into the hall where everyone else was still waiting.
"Well this place hasn't changed at all." mused May.
"Is that bad?" Daisy asked, smirking.
"Nope." giggled April.
"Gotta say, it feels nice being back-"
May stopped as she, April, and June froze in place at the sight of Huey, Dewey, and Louie. The six walked up to each other in shock, Huey standing in front of April, Dewey in front of May, and Louie in front of June.
"Whoa! Wait, what!?" they all said in shocked unison.
Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Naminé, Xion, Lea, Isa, Myde, Terra, Ven, Aqua, Hayner, Pence, Olette, Max, Oswald, Ortensia, Scrooge, Webby, Lena, and Violet all stared as well, jaws dropped in shock at the sight of both sets of triplets.
"Whoa!" gasped Sora.
"No… way!" said a speechless Riku.
"This is a real shock!" Kairi mused in shock.
"Curse me kilts!" gasped Scrooge.
"Is it just me or… am I seeing double triplets?!" Lena asked out loud.
"It's not just you Lena… we're all seeing it!" Violet replied.
"Another set of triplets!?" Webby asked in shock and excitement.
"Daisy has her own triplets too!?" Ven asked in surprise.
"You sure don't see that everyday." said Lea, stunned.
"And here I was thinking Donald and Daisy couldn't be anymore alike." Isa mused.
"I think it's sweet." Aqua smiled after getting over the shock.
"This should be interesting…" mused Terra.
"Just when you think you've seen it all in this crazy toon world." commented Hayner.
"It's like the boys are looking in a mirror!" said Roxas.
"More like an opposite gender mirror." said Myde.
"Well this is…" Huey began.
"Surprising." finished April.
"Man… it's like…" Louie began
"Looking in a mirror." June finished.
"Could someone explain why there are girl versions of us?" asked Dewey.
"Hold it Bluey. We're not the girl versions of you. You're the boy versions of us!" said May.
"Well that's one way of putting it." said Lea, making everyone chuckle.
Donald and Daisy walked up behind their nephews and nieces.
"Huey, Dewey, Louie meet April, May and June Duck." said Donald.
"April, May, June meet Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck." said Daisy.
Lena smirked. "Cute, with the names being names after three months in a row and the colour coded outfits. Is that like your thing, you girls are exactly the same?" she asked.
Huey, Dewey, and Louie rolled their eyes, seeing where Lena was going with this.
April, May and June smirked. "HA! No way we're all unique snowflakes!" they said together before sharing shocked looks. "Well this usually never happens! This is really weird! Okay, stop talking!... Antidisestablishmentarianism! Seriously! GAAH!" they yelled as they clutched their heads in annoyance."
Everyone laughed. Huey, Dewey, and Louie smiled, Lena grinned, and Webby and Violet giggled.
"Oh man this is priceless." Myde laughed.
"They're exactly like you three." commented Lea.
"Us?" Dewey asked in confusion.
"You three are exactly the same as well." Isa explained with a smirk.
"Yeah, though in a cute way." Lena said with a smile.
Huey, Dewey and Louie scoffed. "HA! No way we're all unique snowflakes!" they said together before trading surprised glances. "Well this usually never happens a second time! This is really weird! Okay, stop talking!... Antidisestablishmentarianism! Seriously! GAAH!" they yelled as they clutched their heads in annoyance.
Everyone burst out laughing.
"Comedy gold!" chortled Lea.
"This just keeps getting better and better." chuckled Sora.
Huey, Dewey, and Louie rolled their eyes before April, May, and June walked up to them with smiles.
"Aside from all of that, it's really nice to meet you guys." said April.
Huey, Dewey, and Louie smiled back as they shook their "female counterparts" hands.
"Nice to meet you guys too." said Huey.
"Aunt Daisy mentioned that Uncle Donald had nephews, but she never mentioned that they were triplets as well." said June.
"That's funny." said Sora as he turned to Daisy. "You said you had nieces and yet you didn't mention that they were triplets as well." he said, raising an eyebrow.
Everyone glanced at the engaged couple, who blushed in embarrassment.
"Must've slipped our minds…" they said together, sheepishly.
"They are definitely made for one another." Violet deadpanned.
Ven turned to Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy. "Did you three know about this?" he asked.
"Well of course we did." said Mickey. "April, May, and June have visited this castle before."
"Why didn't you mention that they were triplets either?" asked Roxas.
Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy blushed sheepishly.
"Must've slipped our minds as well." Minnie said sheepishly.
"Oh my god." Terra chuckled quietly.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the Fabulous Five." Hayner deadpanned.
"Anyways… I don't think we've met the rest of you." said April as she and her sisters faced the others.
"We've never met humans that weren't toons before." said May as they looked at the humans.
"This is pretty cool." said June.
"We're glad you think so." smiled Sora. "I'm Sora."
"Riku." said Riku.
"I'm Kairi." smiled Kairi.
"Roxas." said Roxas.
"Name's Lea. Got it memorized?" Lea asked, tapping the side of his head that made the Duck girls giggle.
"Isa." said Isa.
"I'm Xion." said Xion.
"I'm Naminé." said Naminé.
"I'm Terra." said Terra.
"Ventus. Ven for short." said Ven.
"My name is Aqua." said Aqua.
"Name's Myde." said Myde.
"I'm Hayner." said Hayner.
"Name's Pence." said Pence.
"And I'm Olette." finished Olette.
"Nice to meet you all." said May.
June looked over at Max. "Hey, are you by any chance Goofy's son?" she asked.
Max chuckled. "Yeah that's me. I'm Max."
"And who might you two be?" May asked Oswald and Ortensia.
"I'm Oswald." said Oswald. "Mickey's older half-brother."
April, May, and June's jaws dropped.
"King Mickey has a brother?!" they exclaimed.
"It was kind of a complicated subject for me." Mickey explained.
"Oh, ok." May said in understanding.
"And I'm Ortensia. Oswald's my husband." siad Ortensia.
"A rabbit and a cat married?" June asked in surprise.
"If that weirds you out, we understand." said Ortensia.
"Oh no, not at all." May reassured them.
"Yeah, we don't find anything weird about interspecies romance." April said in agreement.
"English April." June deadpanned.
April rolled her eyes. "I meant we don't find anything weird about two animals of different species being in love with one another." she explained.
"Oh yeah." nodded June. "Like Goofy with Clarabelle."
"Nice to meet you girls." said Lena. "I'm Lena."
"Violet Sabrewing." said Violet.
Webby then popped up in front of the girls, making them jump.
"Hi! Nice to meet you girls! I'm Webby Vanderquack!" she said excitedly.
"Whoa, slow down there Webby." June said calmly.
Webby giggled. "Sorry. I just can't believe there's another set of triplets like Huey, Dewey, and Louie out there." she said.
"Neither can we." chuckled April.
"And I'm Scrooge McDuck." Scrooge said proudly.
April, May, and June became excited.
"Oh boy…" Donald chuckled.
"You have to answer these questions for us!" May said excitedly. "How many adventures have you been on?!"
April got on top of May's shoulders.
"Is it true that you're 150 years old?!" she asked.
June jumped on top of April, completing the stack.
"Do you have any expensive stuff that you don't want that I can have?!" she asked excitedly.
April and May glared at her while Louie and Lena chuckled in amusement.
"What, I'm not stealing anything am I?" June asked.
As the girls got off each other, Minnie stepped up.
"Why don't we all talk more over dinner?" she suggested. "I bet you girls are hungry."
As if on cue, April, May, and June's stomachs growled in unison, making them giggle.
"We sure are." said June as she patted her belly.
"Duckworth should be making dinner now." said Mickey. "Let's eat."
Nodding, everyone went into the dining room.
A little while later, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Lena, and Violet took April, May, and June to their room in the castle.
"So are you guys gonna be staying here for a while?" asked Lena.
"We sure are." said May. "We live with Aunt Daisy. We don't stay at the castle often because of her job. We usually stay at a relative's house."
"Ok that makes sense." said Violet.
Webby, Lena, and Violet then noticed that both sets of triplets kept trading glaces at each other.
"Are you ok? You six seem uncomfortable." said Violet.
The six took notice.
"Oh, uh, sorry." Dewey said awkwardly.
"Yeah, this is just kinda weird." said April. "I mean, we've never met another ste of triplets before."
"Neither have we." said April before extending his hand to April. "I'm Huey by the way. They're Dewey and Louie." he added as he gestured to his brothers.
"Hey there!" Dewey greeted.
"'Sup?" Louie said lazily.
"Nice to meet you." smiled April. "I'm April. They're May and June." she added as she gestured to her sisters.
"Hey!" greeted May.
"Hey…" June said lazily.
"So…" Webby began before getting excited. "You've got to tell us everything about yourselves! What's your aunt like to you? What are your blood types? Favorite colors? Who's the evil triplet?"
"June." April and May sait in unison.
"Meh." June shrugged.
"Tell me everything!" Webby said excitedly as she took their picture before getting up in May's face full of excitement, freaking her out.
Huey, Dewey, Louie, Lena, and Violet pried her away from them.
"Webby, calm down." Dewey said calmly.
"We love your enthusiasm, but I think you oughta turn it down a tad." said Lena.
Webby blushed in embarrassment.
"Hehe, sorry." she said sheepishly.
"Hey, it's cool." said May. "Your enthusiasm is actually cool."
Webby smiled at that.
"So how long has Daisy been taking care of you guys?" asked Lena.
"11 years." replied April.
That shocked the Duckburg Six.
"Wait really?" asked Louie.
"Yeah why?" asked May.
"Because Uncle Donald raised us for 11 years." Dewey replied.
All the triples were taken aback by how much they had in common.
"No way!" said May.
"Way!" said Dewey.
"Really?" asked April.
"Yeah." nodded Huey.
"That is way too coincidental." Louie and June said in unison before they looked at each other in surprise.
"Jinx!" Webby said giddily.
"So you guys have really visited the castle before?" asked Louie.
"Yeah we have." said June. "A few times about a year ago."
"It was after Aunt Daisy told us she was Queen Minnie's Lady-In-Waiting." said April. "Whenever she had to go to the castle for her job, we would tag along and try to keep ourselves busy."
"That sounds cool." said Dewey. "We didn't start coming to the castle until almost a year ago. And that was because Uncle Donald didn't tell us he was King Mickey's Court Magician at the time."
"He never told us because he didn't want us in danger or to follow him on his adventures." said Huey. "At first we were mad, but then we realized why he did what he did."
"Totally get it." said May. "We were upset that Aunt Daisy lied to us as well. But we understood her reasons. She was just looking out for us."
"There was another reason why Uncle Donald didn't tell us he was a mage." said Dewey.
That peaked April, May, June, and even Lena and Violet's interest.
"And what would that be?" asked Violet.
Huey, Dewey, and Louie sighed as Webby looked at them softly.
"Uncle Donald didn't want us to see him as a…" Louie began before trailing off.
"A what?" Lena asked softly.
"... a freak…" Louie said softly, making everyone gasp.
"Ouch…" June muttered in sympathy.
"That's gotta be a hard thing to think." said April.
"It was for him." said Huey.
The boys and Webby then smiled.
"But whether he had magic or not, he was always our uncle… father-figure to begin with." Dewey said fondly.
"And we would never see him as a freak." said Huey.
"And we love him." Louie concluded.
Lena, Violet, and the Duck girls smiled fondly at that.
"That's good to hear." said June.
"So would you girls like a tour of the castle?" asked Huey. "I guess it's been a while since the last time you were here."
"We'd like that." smiled April.
"Then what are we sitting around here for?" Let's go!" Webby said excitedly as she bolted out the door.
Everyone laughed.
"Is she always like that?" asked May.
"You guessed correctly May." Dewey replied.
With that, they all headed out into the hall.
Gummiship Hanger:
Sora, Riku, and Mickey were checking on the Gummiship as the Rescue Rangers did maintenance on it. The nine kids entered the room.
"Hey guys." greeted Dewey.
"Oh hiya fellas!" greeted Mickey.
"Wow, the Gummiship Hanger's gotten a bit more modified." mused May.
"Well after they got the whole 'drop out exit' fixed they decided to replace some of the old machinery with new ones." said Sora.
"Cool." mused April.
"What's going on in here?" asked Violet.
"The Rescue Rangers are giving the Gummiship a maintenance check." said Sora.
"Rescue Rangers?" April, May, and June asked.
"Chip and Dale's old team." said Webby. "They handle cases regular people can't handle."
As if on cue, the engine hatch opened. They spotted the Rescue Rangers in there.
"How's the engine fellas?" asked Mickey.
"Some pieces had to be replaced." said Gadget. "Luckily, we should be done with that by tomorrow."
"That's good." nodded Sora. "Anything else?"
"Some of the cables have to be replaced as well." added Chip as he looked at a small clipboard.
"But according to this, only a small amount." added Dale. "Monty and Foxglove should be bringing them in now."
Zipper then buzzed and pointed ahead. Everyone looked and saw the Rescuemobile fly in with Monterey at the controls with Foxglove in the co-pilot's seat.
"Look ahead chaps!" Monterey called. "We got the parts you need!"
"Thanks Monty!" called Gadget.
"And this is the kind of normal we're used to." Dewey told the Duck girls.
"Oh we've seen odder but cooler." April, May, and June said in unison, thinking back to Donald and Daisy's days at the institute.
"With that said, we'd better get going." said Louie. "See ya guys."
"Bye kids!" called Mickey as the nine of them left.
"So what's next?" asked Foxglove.
"To the controls!" Sora said dramatically as he jumped through the front door.
Riku and Mickey chuckled in unison.
Down in the lab, the elevator doors opened as the nine kids entered.
"This lab looks more modern than what I remember," said April.
"Uncle Ludwig usually keeps himself busy with inventing." said Huey.
"Where is your genius uncle?" asked Lena.
"He's at some science exo or something." said Louie, shrugging.
"Still, all these inventions look pretty cool." said May as she glanced at a ray gun.
"Yes but he hasn't tested them all yet." said Violet. "I'd advise we don't injure ourselves."
"Good call Vi." said April.
June noticed the portals.
"What are those?" she asked.
"Those are portals." said Huey.
"Where do they go?" asked June.
Lena pointed at the first one. "That one goes to Twilight Town."
"It's a really pretty place." said Webby with a smile. "Roxas, Lea, and Xion have told us that the view on top of the clocktower is beautiful."
"We should definitely see it." May grinned.
Dewey pointed to the second one. "That one goes to Radiant Garden."
"Oh that's the home of Ansem the Wise, his apprentices, and the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee right?" May asked excitedly.
Everyone looked at her in surprise.
"What? Aunt Daisy told us." she explained.
"Oh ok." nodded Huey. "And to answer your question, that's right."
Webby pointed to the third one. "That one goes to Midgar."
"What's Midgar?" asked April.
"According to our friends that you haven't met yet, the town has the most advanced technology on their version of Earth." said Violet.
"Though like our world, a lot of crazy stuff goes down there, especially magic related." added Dewey.
"Sounds cool and scary at the same time." said June.
Dewey gestured to the last one. "And that portal leads to a place called the Secret Forest."
"That's where the army stays at right?" asked June.
"Bingo." said Lena. "They stay there so the castle won't be overcrowded."
"They got their own homes in there as well so they can be neighbors!" Webby added.
"Cool." the girl triplets mused.
Montage:
Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Lena, and Violet continue to show April, May, and June around the castle so they can see what's changed or what's new.
They're in the aircraft hanger where Launchpad is working on the Sunchaser. He notices and waves hello as he's working on fixion one of the wings… only for it to fall down and knock some paint into the air painting the pilot and plane in a variety of colors.
They're then in the movie theater room where they watch Space Jam while having some popcorn and drinks.
Then they're in Mickey's study behind his desk. May then pressed a button under the desk and then, a control panel appared. Seeing what May did, Webby pressed one of the buttons.
And out of nowhere, Hawaiian Tiki face statues appeared along with some colorful birds on ropes.
"Come on along, and sing our Tiki song." one bird said in a German accent.
"And everyone will take their turns." said another in a Latino accent.
"To celebrate a mouse who's great. The wiki-wakka liki-lakka magic Mickey Mouse!" said another in a Jamaican accent.
And then they began to sing, making the nine kids cringe in annoyance as they desperately tried to find the button that turned them off, pressing all of them.

That night, the nine kids were getting ready to sleep. They were all dressed in their pajamas.
Huey wore a red night shirt and a night cap-like hat.
Dewey wore a blue zapped-up footie.
Louie wore a buttoned up green nightshirt.
Webby wore a buttoned up pink nightshirt.
Lena wore a yellow t-shirt slanted on one side, revealing a strap of her bra and black shorts.
Violet wore a seafoam colored t-shirt and emerald shorts above black tights.
April wore a yellow t-shirt with a blue lightning bolt on it.
May wore an orange nightshirt covered in yellow stars.
June wore a purple shirt-sleeved night gown with a skull on the front. (2)
"I still can't believe this room can fit nine kids." mused Louie.
"Well this room is at the end of the hall. So of course it could fit all of us." said Huey.
"Thanks for showing us the new stuff around the castle." said May.
"Hey, we're happy to help." smiled Dewey.
"Say, we should all hang out tomorrow." suggested Webby. "But in our own individual groups."
Everyone gave Webby odd looks.
"Whaddya mean Webs?" asked Dewey.
"I mean, Huey, Violet, and April can be one group since they like smart stuff, Dewey, May, and I can be another since we like dangerous and exciting stuff, and Louie, Lena, and June can be the last one since they like taking it easy." she explained.
"Great idea Webby!" said Huey.
"Couldn't hurt." shrugged Lena.
"With that said, we should get our sleep." said Violet. "Goodnight everyone."
"Night." they all said in unison as Huey turned off the lights before they all fell asleep.
The next morning, the kids all split up into separate groups.
Huey, April, and Violet made their way down to the lab.
"Bonding over our love of science." mused Violet. "This should be interesting."
Inside the lab, Riku and Ven were looking over a new weapon Professor Ludwig Von Drake invented.
"...Of course, we'll only need this if we're attacked by one of the royals or a member of Parliament, so it's probably okay to leave the safety on." said Ven as he handed the weapon back to the professor. (3)
"Well thank you for that Ventus." Ludwig smiled. Then he noticed the kids. "Oh hello kids. How may we be a service?"
"Just hanging out around the lab for a little while." said Huey.
"Oh that sounds exciting." mused Ludwig. "Well you kids knock yourselves out."
"Just try not to blow up the lab." Riku teased as the three left the lab.
"So what should we try out first?" asked Violet.
"Ooh, how about we try to mix some chemicals?" suggested Huey. "You see… I've been working on mixing some substances together to make a rainbow-colored liquid." he said as he opened a cabinet and pulled out a holding container with some viles full of liquid.
"That does sound intriguing." mused Violet.
"Ooh, I tried that experiment for school once." said April with a big grin.
"Cool." said Huey. "How about you Violet?"
"Uh… actually I haven't." Violet replied.
"No worries. I know the recipe by heart." said April. "You can get us the material." she told the hummingbird.
"Very well then." Violet shrugged.
April turned to Huey. "So where are you so far?" she asked.
Huey took out a jar. "I mixed in 1/2 cup of the light corn syrup with 1 drop of blue and 1 drop of red food coloring then added in blue dish soap down the side of the jar." he replied.
"I see." mused April. "Make sure you add in ½ a cup of water next."
"Right." nodded Huey as Violet filled up a cup of water. "Any food coloring?"
"2 green drops." said April.
"Right." nodded Huey.
April got the food coloring but they almost slipped out of her grasp. She giggled nervously as she set them down. She added in the first drop, but it seemed to be stuck. April tried to hit it to get the coloring out… only for the green liquid to splatter all over Huey's face.
"Oops. Sorry." April said sheepishly.
Huey chuckled as he grabbed a papertowled and wiped the green off his face.
"No worries at all." he said.
Soon, they were mixing in more products and soon, they ended up with more mixer products. But throughout the whole time, Huey and April seemed to be talking to each other more and Violet, while she was able to talk to them, seemed to feel left out of the conversation. In fact, Violet was barely able to talk to just Huey alone.
'I know I'm helping with these mixing activities but with Hubert talking to April so much… it's almost like I'm not here…' Violet thought sadly to herself.
After an hour, the three had created a bunch of mixed formulas.
"Now that was fun. Look at all the beautiful colors." said April.
"We made quite the accomplishment today, wouldn't ya say?" asked Huey.
"I couldn't agree more." said Violet, though her smile seemed to be a bit forced.
After cleaning up and heading into the elevator, Violet hid her sad look from Huey and April.
During that time:
Sora and Roxas were chatting with Aqua in the hall.
"So when they got into the cage, and through the security doors there and down the elevator they couldn't move, and past the guards with the guns, and into the vault they couldn't open…" Aqua began.
"Without being seen by the cameras." added Roxas.
"Oh yeah, forgot to mention that." said Sora.
"Yeah well, they were just supposed to walk out of there with $150,000,000 in cash on them, without getting stopped?" Aqua asked incredulously.
Sora and Roxas traded glances.
"Yeah." they said in unison.
Aqua did a double-take. "Oh. Okay." she said sheepishly. (4)
Just then, Dewey, Webby, and May walked by.
"Hey guys, where ya heading?" asked Sora.
"We're heading to the park." said Dewey. "We're gonna skateboard."
"That sounds fun." said Roxas. "Wait, Webby, do you know how to skateboard?"
"Dewey's taught me a couple of things." Webby replied. "But I'll learn as I go along."
Sora, Aqua, and Roxas traded glances.
"Ok…" Roxas said slowly. "Just be safe."
"Relax Rox'. We'll be fine." assured Dewey.
"Yeah, you know us; embracing danger!" Webby said with a smirk.
"Can't argue with that logic." chuckled Sora. "Though we just don't want to find you guys battered and bruised."
"Don't you guys get battered and bruised all the time on your missions that you can easily cure yourselves?" asked May.
"Doesn't mean we have to like it." shrugged Aqua.
"Right." nodded Dewye. "Well, we're off! See ya!"
With that, the three ran out the doors.
"I swear I sometimes see a lot of yourself in Dewey, Sora." said Roxas with a chuckle.
Sora gave Roxas a confused look while Aqua giggled.
Skate Park:
Dewey, Webby, and May stood on top of a half-pipe while wearing helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads in their signature colors. Their skateboards matched their clothes as well.
"Ok ladies, you ready to shred some nards?!" Dewey asked excitedly.
Webby and May blinked while giving him weird looks.
Dewey blushed in embarrassment. "I mean you ready to skate down the halfpipe?" he asked.
"Yep!" they said in unison.
"Alright, let's Dew-ey this!" Dewey said as he skated down the halfpipe.
Dewey rolled down the halfpipe before ascending up the other side. As soon as he was at the top, he spun around and skidded across the edge before spinning around again and skated down. He flew up and landed next to the girls.
"That was awesome Dewey!" Webby exclaimed excitedly.
"Yeah! That was A-May-Zing!" May exclaimed.
Dewey smiled and chuckled at the praise and May's use of her name in a word.
"I'll go next!" said Webby.
Webby hopped onto her skateboard and slid down the halfpipe. She slid up over the other side and did a triple-somersault before sliding back down and rejoined the two middle triplets.
"Nice moves Webby!" said Dewey.
"I'm impressed." May said proudly.
"Aw thanks guys." smiled Webby.
"OK May, show us what you got." said Dewey.
"Done and done." May said with a determined smirk. "Watch me shred this thing like there's no tomorrow!"
May skidded down the halfpipe and zipped up into the air, screaming excitedly. She flipped over, placing her hands on her skateboard, and spun around like a twister before she jumped back up onto her board and skateboarded down and up to the other side.
Dewey and Webby were amazed.
"THAT WAS AWESOME!" Dewey cheered.
"Yeah, nice job May!" cheered Webby.
May giggled. "Thanks."
Soon, they were skateboarding for a little while, performing cool moves when they could. Dewey was impressed by the new skills Webby showed. Flips, spins, and shredding the edges of the halfpipe. But Webby began to notice that Dewey looked like he was more amazed by May's skills. May was shredding the halfpipe like there was no tomorrow. She was able to do triple flips front and back, direct her skateboard with her feet in any direction, even stand on her head, take off her wheels, juggle them, then place them back on before landing. (5)
Webby, while impressed by May's moves, began to feel a bit sad that Dewey was more impressed by May than her.
After an hour, they were done.
"Wow, May that was so cool! You're like Tony Hawk! Where did you learn such cool moves?!" asked Dewey.
"Lots of practice at the park." May replied. "I've practiced all the time after school. Everytime I'm up against anyone else, I'm always the top skater."
"I can see that!" laughed said Dewey. "And you're lucky too. Before Uncle Donald toned down his overprotectiveness, he wanted to make sure we didn't play in such a wild manner at the park."
"Totally understand." nodded May. "By the way Webs, you were amazing too. Dewey taught you really well"
That snapped Webby out of her thoughts. "Huh? Oh, thanks May." she said with a forced smile.
"Come on, let's head back to the castle." said Dewey.
As they began to leave, Webby began to have sad thoughts in her head.
'Am I not that good enough for Dewey that I can't even impress him?' she thought to herself.
During THAT time:
In the living room, Terra and Lea were playing Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe while Isa sat with them. He would play the winner.
Terra was playing as Jax while Lea played as Green Lantern.
"I gotta say, this is a nice crossover game." said Terra.
"Especially since Huey and Violet were able to hack into the system so we could play as Dark Kahn." added Lea.
Just then, Isa spotted Louie, Lena, and June come by with wagons full of old objects.
"What are you three up to?" asked Isa.
Terra paused the game so he and Lea could face the duck kids.
"Oh hey guys." said Louie. "The three of us are gonna sell some stuff to the people in town."
"You know, just to make a quick buck." Lena added.
"And by sell, you mean con them?" Isa deadpanned.
"Hey, it's who we are." said Louie.
"If it helps, we will try not to overdo it unless the customer's a real jerk." said June.
"Well as long as you kids are careful, then that's ok." said Lea. "But don't go overboard with people who don't have so much to spend with."
"Done and done." nodded Lena.
"Good. Just wanna make sure." said Lea.
"You guys are good at being older sibling figures." said June.
Terra, Lea, and Isa smiled.
"Well we have a lot of friends who are younger than us." said Lea.
"We try to look out for them." added Isa.
"Though the last thing we want to give you guys is tough luck." said Terra as he gestured to a sign on the wall.
"Uh… isn't it tough love?" asked June, raising an eyebrow.
Terra did a double take on the sign in realization. "Tough love…? Of course, this has never made sense! The sign shop guy lied!" he exclaimed.
Terra then called out to a magic broom mopping the floor in the hall. "Stanley! You didn't question the word 'luck'! Now look what we got!" He yelled before facing the kids. "Thanks for the correction." (6)
"Well, you kids have fun." said Lea.
"We will." the three schemers said in unison as they left.
Downtown:
Louie, Lena, and June were in town near the gazebo with the old artifacts that they found.
"So why did we bring all this junk out here specifically ?" asked Lena.
"Because I'm gonna show you two an old con trick I taught my sisters." June smirked. "Plus, this is a good spot for people to come by."
"Now this I gotta see." said Louie. "So, you're a good con artist too?"
"Hey, I am the evil triplet." June shrugged. "I know how these things usually work. How about you?"
"Uncle Scrooge tells me I'm able to see all the angles." said Louie. "And that helps a lot during adventures and pulling off a scheme."
"I used to live beneath a theater," said Lena. "So of course I would learn how to con people to get some things I would need for a 'home'."
"I like your styles." June smirked.
Then, they noticed Glomgold looking at their junk. He was back in town for his bet with Scrooge and was taking a stroll to calm his nerves (per Owlson and his lawyer's suggestion).
"Oh great. It's Glomgold." groaned Louie.
"That's Uncle Scrooge's top enemy?" Lena asked in disbelief.
"Top enemy that isn't magical." Louie corrected.
"Ah." Lena nodded.
"I've heard about Flintheart Glomgold from Aunt Daisy." said June. She smirked when she saw Glomgold eyeing an antique lamp. "Louie, Lena, how much would you say that lamp is worth?" she asked.
Louie and Lena studied the lamp.
"Given its age and material…" Louie began.
"I'd say at about $250." said Lena.
"Alright then, we're gonna sell it for over $1000." said June.
"How so?" asked Louie, interested.
"Just do this." June said as she talked to the two.
Meanwhile, Glomgold was still eyeing the lamp.
"Yes… this looks rare enough to make me more wealthy that McDuck." he said greedily.
"Interested in that lamp?" asked June as she walked.
"Huh?" Glomgold asked before noticing the purple-clad duck. "Yes I am."
"How much are you willing to pay for it?" June asked slyly.
"I will give you $100." said Glomgold.
Suddenly, Louie and Lena appeared from behind the fake Scottish duck.
"No! I'll give you $150!" said Louie.
"Think again Greenie, I'm payin' $200!" said Lena.
"200 bid, looking for double." said Juen as if she was an auctioneer.
"Wait, this isn't an auction!" Glomgold exclaimed.
"300!" said Louie.
"400!" shouted Lena.
"500! Beat that!" smirked Louie.
Glomgold was now getting sweaty and nervous.
"500, it looks like we may not go higher." said June.
"600!" shouted Lena.
"700!" exclaimed Louie.
"800!" yelled Lena.
"1,000!" shouted Louie.
"W-Wait!" shuttered Glomgold.
"1,500!" said Lena.
"I'll double that! 3,000!" Louie smirked.
"$10,000!" Gomgold burst out yelling.
"And sold to the guy with the creepy beard!" June said as she banged a random gavel against the table with all the merchandise before tossing it to the side. (7)
"Ha ha YES!" Glomgold cheered as he handed over a wad of cash to June and then took the lamp. "The $10,000 lamp now belongs to Flintheart Glomgold! AHAHAHAHAHAH!"
"Pleasure doing business with you." June smirked as she handed Glomgold a receipt.
Glomgold cackled as he left. Louie, Lena, and June burst out laughing.
"That was awesome!" Lena laughed. "We totally conned that joker!"
"Man Glomgold is so dumb it's a wonder how he's kept his business running for so long!" laughed Louie. He turned to June. "Nice con June!"
June giggled. "No problemo Louie." she replied.
"You have got to teach us some more." said Louie.
June smirked. "Done and done."
As the time went by, Louie, Lena, and June managed to con some other people into buying the rare artifacts either for a little or a lot more than they really worth. But while they were making a decent amount of cash, Lena began to notice that Louie seemed to be more impressed at June's conning skills than hers. And she began to feel a little upset.
'She's a good schemer… but Louie looks more impressed by her schemes than mine… it's like he likes her methods more… and mine are too old-fashioned.' she thought to herself.
After an hour, all the stuff was sold.
"We did it!" Louie cheered. "Thanks for helping us make this all possible June." he told the purple-clad triplet.
"Glad I could help Lou." June smirked.
"Yeah, you were great." Lena muttered.
"Oh yeah. Good work too Lena." Louie said to the older girl.
Lena forced a smile.
"Thanks Lou." she said.
"C'mon, let's split our profits." said June.
"I like that idea already," said Louie.
They began to walk back to the castle while Lena looked downcast.
'She's already a better con artist than me… how could I ever be Louie's friend if she's better than me like that?' she thought to herself.
Later at the castle, Huey, Dewey, and Louie were showing April, May, and June Funzo's Fun Zone. They invited Webby, Lena, and Violet to join, but they declined saying they were gonna rest for a bit. Both triplets were concerned, but the three assured them that they were fine.
Webby, Lena, and Violet were talking to each other as they rode the elevator.
"I just don't get it." sighed Lena. "One moment we're having a good time together, the next moment, they're getting closer to Daisy's nieces."
"I agree. It's almost like we were barley in their presence." Violet said in agreement.
"Do you think that we're not good enough for the boys anymore?" asked Webby. "I mean, April, May, and June are triplets just like them. It's almost like… they prefer them over us."
Lena and Violet frowned sadly at Webby's words, but they did seem to agree with what she said.
"Perhaps some time in the Secret Forest will calm our worries." suggested Violet.
"Couldn't hurt." shrugged Lena.
The three exited the elevator and entered through the portal.
Secret Forest:
The 23 Keyblade Masters were gathered around for a lunch break after training the army.
"So why did the others leave early?" asked Myde.
"Dilan, Even, Aeleus, and Ienzo had their jobs at Radiant Garden." said Ven.
"The Restoration Committee is helping out with the plans for the benefit concert." said Terra.
"Seifer and his crew wanted to play Struggle Bat." said Kairi.
"And the Turks have their own work to do." finished Mickey.
"Speaking of which, I heard from Tseng that you guys invited them to dinner soon." said Lea.
Mickey and Minnie chuckled.
"Yeah. We've given the offer to everyone else from Radiant Garden and Twilight Town. So we thought we'd give them one and they took it." said Mickey.
Just then, Webby, Lena, and Violet came up to them, still looking downcast.
"Hey girls." greeted Aqua.
"Hey everyone." Lena sighed as they three sat with them.
Everyone looked concerned at the girls' sad expressions.
"Webby? Lena? Violet? Girls, are you ok?" asked Xion.
"You guys look pretty blue right now." said Roxas.
"Well...it's just that… Huey, Dewey, and Louie are spending an awful lot of time with April, May, and June." Webby admitted.
Everyone was confused.
"What's wrong with that?" asked Sora.
"Yeah, they're just getting to know each other." said Kairi, having seen the kids together a couple of times that day.
"We know and we're fine with that." said Lena. "It's just that…"
"It feels as though they're beginning to forget about us." Violet said sadly.
Everyone was taken aback.
"Say what now?" asked Hayner.
"Forget about you?" Riku asked in disbelief.
"That's ridiculous. My nephews wouldn't forget about you just because they're becoming close with April, May and June." Donald assured them.
"The 6 of them are just surprised because they've never met another set of triplets." added Daisy.
"But that's exactly it! April, May and June have formed something with the boys that we could never have." Webby said sadly.
"They have a special bond as triplets." said Violet.
"April, May and June are like… girl reflections of Huey, Dewey and Louie, aside from the fact that your nieces have the exact same hairstyle. But their personalities are so similar." sighed Lena.
"May is exactly like Dewey, adventurous and energetic. Less, a little hostile and over-competitive considering how she took that skateboarding contest a little too far… but overall she's a really sweet person when you look beyond that." said Webby.
"And though April is a little clumsy and awkward she's as smart as Huey and far more organised." added Violet.
"June's like a girl version of Louie. She's lazy, scheming, a prankster but overall has a good heart. The only difference is she's a little more shifty, playful and no one can see angles better than Louie can." added Lena.
"I mean sure, we have those qualities too and I look so similar to the boys I could be considered a long-lost sister, but… we're not triplets." sighed Webby.
"The three of us are just a group of sisters, related via experience and friendship. To be honest...we're a little jealous. We can never have the bond that they have." Violet admitted sadly.
Everyone was surprised.
Lena looked at Daisy. "Don't get us wrong Aunt Daisy. We really like your nieces, we get along well… it's just that… they suddenly came into our lives and all of sudden have become fast friends with the boys. What if they forget about us? Louie was the first boy I truly became friends with, he saw me as a real person, not the niece of Magica." she sighed.
"Hubert was the first true friend I ever made who understood what it was like to be me… to not have many friends because of our intelligence." added Violet.
"And Dewey was the one who tried his hardest to show me life outside the mansion and helped me be less socially awkward. They're our best friends and now it looks like we're getting replaced." Webby finished sadly.
Webby, Lena and Violet sighed in sadness.
"I don't know… maybe we should just accept we're losing our favourite guys…" Webby said glumly.
Everyone was surprised.
"Come on, don't say that you guys." said Sora as he walked up to the girls.
"I've known my boys for years. They'd never forget you." Donald said softly.
"That's right, you're not losing Huey, Dewey and Louie to my nieces just because they're spending a lot of time with them." Daisy added.
"It's natural for everyone to make new friends." said Mickey.
"And you girls have been the boys' best friends for quite some time now." added Goofy.
"Yeah. There's no way they'd ever forget you." added Max.
"You sure about that?" asked Lena.
Kairi smiled at them. "We're more than sure. The boys love you girls no matter what." she told them.
"Yeah, nothing can break the bond you have with them." Ven said in agreement.
"Webby, you were willing to help Dewey figure out the mystery of Della's disappearance and how the Spear of Selene was involved." Kairi said as she bent down to Webby's level. "Dewey was so happy that you helped him. You're his best friend."
Xion bent down to Lena's level. "And Lena, Louie showed such kindness to you ever since that incident in the subway tunnels. Ever since you've guys always had a great bond. And you didn't even care that she was Magica's shadow. You saw more to her than just that." she told her gently.
Roxas walked over to Violet. "And Vi, remember when you and Huey bonded during the Dream Festival? He was able to understand you as it was heard for smart kids like you to make friends. And he was willing to be your friend just like Webby and Lena and then eventually Dewey and Louie." he told her.
"You guys have a special bond." said Aqua. "Nothing is ever going to sever it."
"And don't doubt yourselves about it." added Terra as he pointed to a sign that read P.S.I. "The last thing you want is poor self-esteem." Terra then did a double take on the sign realizing it was screwed up and took it off in annoyance. "That's not an 'I'! Every sign is wrong!" he yelled as he threw it to the side. (6)
"But seriously, just because they're forming a friendship with April, May, and June, it doesn't mean you guys can't be friends with them as well." added Minnie.
"And no matter what happens, you'll always be best friends." Sora assured them.
Everyone else nodded in agreement with warm smiles.
Webby, Lena, and Violet were taken aback by all of this but smiled gratefully at them.
"Thanks guys." said Webby.
"I think we really needed that." said Lena.
"Very appreciated." nodded Violet.
"No problem at all girls." smiled Aqua.
"Also, not to tease you ladies but we know the boys are respectively more than just brothers to you three." Lea said with a smirk.
The three were taken aback.
"Beg pardon?" asked Violet.
"What?" asked Lena.
"What are you talking about?" asked Webby.
"No need to hide it you three." Sora smiled.
Donald walked over to the three girls. "Webby, Lena, Violet, I'm not gonna tease you like I did with Sora so I'm gonna be polite. We all know that Webby, you have special feelings for Dewey. And Lena, Violet, I know you girls feel the same with Louie and Huey."
Webby, Lena, and Violet's jaws dropped before they began to blush bright red.
"What?! No we don't!" Lena said nervously.
"Yeah, we're just good friends!" Webby said quickly while chuckling nervously.
"And we also see each other as honorary siblings!" Violet added.
Everyone smiled gently.
"Girls, it's ok." Donald said softly. "It's natural to have feelings for the ones you truly love."
"And there's nothing wrong with having crushes on the boys like that." added Daisy.
"We all understand." said Mickey. "You can talk to us about it."
Webby, Lena, and Violet, still blushing, sighed before confessing.
"It's true." Webby said softly as she twiddled her webbed foot. "Ever since me and Dewey began spending time together, solving the mystery about what happened to Della, going on those adventures with Uncle Scrooge, sparring, and so on, I always felt like we had a connection. We like the thrill of adventures and danger and a goof mystery. And… that's when I began to have these feelings for him."
"Yeah." Lena said as she rubbed her arm. "Like all of you guys, Louie always saw me as a real person, not some shadow created by a crazy witch and treated me as part of the family. He reminds me of me. Scheming, lazy, but still has a good heart. We always had a good time together whenever I wasn't with Webby. He never cared that I had magic powers after I had helped save Beakley from that subway car. And when he saved me from the rubble, I never felt so thankful in my entire life. I guess that's when I began to have feelings for him too."
"And as for Huey, he was the first friend I had a lot in common with." said Violet as she rubbed her arm. "No offence Webbigial."
"None taken." Webby replied.
"Huey and I never really had a lot of friends as others always saw us as nerds and too smart for our own good." Violet continued. "But he appreciated me for who I was and we slowly began to realize that we had lots in common. We're skeptics turned believers, we like science and math, and spending time at the library just reading. Even if it doesn't seem like much fun to everyone else, it's something we both enjoy doing together. And… I guess that was when I started to develop these feelings for Huey as well…"
"So really do love them that way?" asked Naminé.
"I guess we do." said Webby.
"If you girls aren't ready to tell them how you feel yet, then we won't force you." said Kairi.
"Thank you Kairi." said Violet.
"But I think you guys should talk to them." said Riku. "Not about your feelings, but how you've been feeling in regards to what's happened to today."
"You're right." said Lena. "We'll go find them."
"Let's get to Funzo's!" said Webby. She pointed to Ven. "Watch out bikes."
"Wait what?" Ven asked, dumbfounded.
Before he could ask again, Webby, Lena, and Violet ran for the portal.
"Think they'll be ok?" asked Myde.
"Those girls are smart, tough, and sharp." said Sora as he sipped a Root Beer. "They'll be ok."
"Yes. Yes they will." nodded Roxas.
Duckburg:
Getting off the bus, Webby, Lena, and Violet made their way to Funzo's.
"I hope they're having fun." said Webby. "Funzo's is the place to be."
"I concur. While I don't usually go there often, doing so with you guys was quite the experience." Violet said in agreement.
"Uh… isn't the bank closed today for maintenance?" Lena asked.
Webby and Violet faced the older duck.
"Yes. Why?" the hummingbird asked.
"There's your reason." said Lena, pointing.
Webby and Violet looked over and saw three figures inside the bank, coming in and out of the safe. They were beagles wearing black masks, red shirts with a large black B on them, blue pants, black shoes, and green caps. The differences between them were that one was short and round, one was tall and bulky, and the last one was thin, scrawny, and between the others'.
It was Big Time, Bouncer, and Burger Beagle of the Beagle Boys.
"Come on you two!" shouted Big Time. "If we really wanna rob a bank successfully, we oughta get outta here ASAP!"
"We're going as fast as we can Big Time!" said Burger.
"Yeah, no need to get our years in a twist." added Bouncer.
"Bouncer's right. That's Ma's job." Burger said in agreement.
Big Time growled. "Well she'll do it to all of us if you don't get your keisters movin'!" he said in annoyance.
"It's the Beagle Boys!" exclaimed Webby.
"Trying to rob a bank huh?" Lena said before smirking. "Not on our watch, right guys?"
"You bet!" Webby said enthusiastically.
"If we must." shrugged Violet. "Lena, would you mind?"
"Sure." Lena said as she waved her magic. A spiked club appeared in Violet's grasp.
Webby brought out her grappling hook.
"Let's do ladies!" she said determinedly.
Lena and Violet nodded as the three of them ran across the street. Webby kicked open the door to the bank.
"Freeze you bad baddies!" she called.
The Beagle Boys jumped.
"Huh?! Who goes there?!" exclaimed Big Time.
They saw Tem Magic.
"Hey I remember the pink one!" said Bouncer. "She got Ma busted a year ago!"
"And that one in the stripes!" exclaimed Burger. "She threw ma's birthday cake into her face!"
"Nice of you to remember us." Lena smirked.
"We do remember you well." Big Time sneered before looking at Violet in confusion. "Though I don't recognize you. Who's the purple duck?"
"I'm a hummingbird." Violet said with a glare.
"So you chumps are back to robbing banks huh?" asked Lena.
"Well yeah, that's sorta our job." Bouncer replied.
"Well too bad! 'Cause we're gonna put you back where you belong!" Webby said determinedly.
The Beagle Boys looked at her in confusion.
"She means jail you buttsniffers." Lena said as she rilled her eyes.
"Oh." said Burger.
"Well too bad. We ain't going down so easily!" said Big Time. "Get 'em!"
Dropping their sacks of money, Big Time, Bouncer, and Burger ran at the girls, who ran at them as well.
Big Time tried to tackle Webby, but she was able to shoot her grappling hook into the air and avoid his attack. Webby swung around and kicked Big Time in the face, making him stumble backwards. Webby landed on the ground and attacked the shortest Beagle Boy with punches to the jaw and stomach before she spin-kicked him in the face and then uppercutted him in the jaw.
Lena attacked Bouncer while avoiding his fists. Lena threw some magic orbs at the largest Beagle Boy as he struggled to block them. Lena then jumped up and socked him in the face with a hard punch. As Lena landed, she rolled out of the way as Bouncer tried to slam his fist on her. Lena's hands glowed magenta as she punched Bouncer in the stomach and then uppercutted him in the jaw, the light of her magic briefly blinding him.
Violet bashed her spiked club against Burger several times, making him help in pain as he tried to punch her. But Violet was able to dodge his punches and slid under his legs before jumping up and bashing her weapon against the back of his head. Burger was suddenly able to grab Violet by her shirt collar, but the hummingbird only smirked as he poked him in the eye with ehr pointed beak, making him yelp in pain as he dropped her, allowing Violet to bash him in the face again.
Big Time tried to attack Webby once more, but Webby was able to side-kick him in the chest, sending him skidding back 9 feet. Big Time ran at Webby, trying to sock her in the face, but the youngest girl duck dodged him and kicked him in the ankles before she spun up and socked him in the jaw, making him fall back. Lena summoned her Diamond Dagger and slashed at Bouncer, making him cry out in pain as he tried to squash the teenager. But Lena was able to dodge it and then blast him in the face with her magic once more and then kicked him in the stomach before slashing his chest upwards with her dagger as he stumbled backwards. Violet dodged Burger trying to grab her as she slammed her spiked club against his foot, making him yelp in pain as he clutched it while hopping one one foot. Seething, the thinnest Beagle tried to punch Violet in the face, but she jumped up and kicked him in the face before she slammed her spiked-club against his head again, making Burger stumble backwards.
Soon, Big Time, Bouncer, and Burger fell to the ground. Webby, Lena, and Violet regrouped.
"Now that was fun!" Lena laughed.
"I concur." Violet nodded as she looked over at Webby. "It was nice of you and the boys to teach Lena and I those moves Webbigail."
"Heck yeah." Lena said in agreement. "You four really know how to teach fighting skills just like the others."
Webby blushed at the praise.
"Aw thanks guys." she said bashfully.
The three smirked at the Beagle Boys.
"Well it looks like your robbing days are over once again." Webby smirked.
But to their surprise and confusion, they smirked back.
"I wouldn't celebrate your victory so soon McDuck brat." said Big Time.
"Why's that?" Violet asked, puzzled.
Suddenly, dark purple magic blasted Webby, Lena, and Violet, making them scream in pain as they fell down unconscious. Standing above them was a tall grey beagle who looked like a rock star. He had shoulder-length blakc hair, a black mask, a silver earing on his right ear, a black shirt, black pants, a black vest, blakc boots, aa black belt with a grey circular belt buckle, black fingerless gloves with spikes around the edges, and a purple cape with a skull clasp.
It was Black Arts Beagle.
"You thought you succeeded, but you were wrong." Black Arts said dramatically.
"Tone down the drama talk, huh Black Arts?" Big Time scoffed as he got back up.
"Whatever you say." the magic beagle said as he rolled his eyes.
"Gotta say though, it was a good idea to bring Black Arts here as a secret weapon." said Burger.
"Ma will be proud." said Bouncer.
They looked at the three unconscious girls.
"What do we do with them?" asked Black Arts.
Big Time smirked. "Grab the rope from the truck. We'll see what Ma wants to do with them once we're done here."
Nodding, Burger ran out to get the rope.
A few minutes later…
Webby, Lena, and Violet woke up.
"What happened?" Violet asked groggily.
"You kids tried to interfere with our robbery. So we had to deal with ya ourselves." said Big Time as he approached the three with Bouncer and Burger behind him.
"But how did you capture us?" Webby asked in confusion.
"Yeah, we totally clobbered you jokers." added Lena.
"They had help from me." Black Arts said as he approached the three.
"Who's that Beagle Boy?" asked Violet.
"I am the one… the only… Black Arts Beagle!" Black Arts said dramatically.
Webby gasped. "Black Arts?!" she cried.
Lena and Violet looked at her in confusion.
"Who's Black Arts Beagle?" asked Lena.
"When Huey was trying to throw Uncle Scrooge a birthday party, he only gave Louie an hour to invite some people. And those guests turned out to be Glomgold, Mark Beaks, and Ma Beagle." Webby explained. "Ma Beagle brought her son Black Arts as backup so she could steal the deed to Duckburg from Uncle Scrooge. Black Arts also thought he summoned a demon when it was only Duckworth. The boys told me all of this when me and Granny got back from my training session."
"And now that we got you three together, we're gonna take you to ma and our bosses." said Bouncer.
"I thought you would hold us ransom." Violet said in confusion.
"After what happened last time, we ain't gonna do that again." said Big Time.
"So who are your bosses?" Lena asked.
"Oh wouldn't you like to know, Magic One." Black Arts smirked.
"Actually we would." Lena deadpanned.
"Well we'll tell you this," said Big Time with an evil grin. "Magica will be happy to have her traitorous creation back."
Lena gasped and gulped nervously, pale as a ghost. Webby and Violet glared.
"You put Lena anywhere near that witch I'LL BREAK EVERY BONE IN YOUR BODY!" Webby snapped.
The Beagle Boys laughed.
"Sorry girlie. You don't scare us." laughed Big Time.
"I mean, what could possibly stop us now?" cackled Black Arts.
"Your worst nightmare!" came a voice.
Webby, Lena, and Violet's eyes widened when they heard that.
"Who said that?" asked Big Time, only to get sucker-kicked in the face and sent flying backwards by…
"Dewey?!" Team Magic said in surprise.
And there, landing in a badass pose… was Dewey, holding Webby's grappling hook.
"Whassup?!" Dewey said with a smirk.
"Hey it's another McDuck brat!" exclaimed Bouncer.
"There's more than just me!" Dewey taunted.
Suddenly, Bouncer was side-kicked in the face by Louie. Burger was then sucker-punched in the face by Huey. Then before Black Arts knew it, April and June suddenly jumped over him and wrapped his cape over his face, before May jumped up and sucker-punched him back in the face.
"Guys!" Webby said happily.
"Boy are we glad to see you." Lena said, relieved.
"We're just glad that you girls are ok." said Louie as he pulled out the Diamond Dagger. "Good things those idiots weren't smart enough to hide these." he added as hge cut the rope.
Before the boys knew it, Webby, Lena, and Violer ran up and hugged them. April, May, and June smiled at the sight.
"Aww, isn't that sweet?" April gushed.
"The Duckburg Six really are close together." May mused with a smile.
"Well they are best friends, aren't they?" June smirked.
Before the female triplets knew it, they were hugged instantly too by Team Magic.
"Oh, well, uh, this came out of nowhere." May said awkwardly.
Webby, Lena, and Violet let them go and smiled sheepishly.
"Sorry, it's just that we're so happy that you guys came to help." said Webby.
"Anytime Webs." smiled Dewey.
"But wait, how did you know we were in here?" asked Violet. "We thought you were at Funzo's."
"We were." said Huey. "We were on our way back when we saw the Beagle Boys tie you guys up in the bank."
"We had to plan a strategic attack so we could rescue you guys." said April.
"So while Huey, Dewey, and Louie attacked from the front entrance, the rest of us would sneak in from the back." said May.
"Wow. That's pretty clever." Webby commented, Lena and Violet nodding in agreement.
"It was similar to your idea from when we played that spy game last week." Dewey said.
"Aww!" Webby smiled.
Just then, they heard groaning. The eight ducks and hummingbird looked over to see the Beagle Boys struggling to stand up.
"Oh great. Now there's more of them." groaned Bouncer.
"Who cares?! Just get them so we can get outta here with our loot!" said Big Time.
"You poor soul shall meet your demise at the strike of darkness!" Black Arts said dramatically.
"Ugh, could this guy be anymore cliche?" June groaned.
"He was just like that during Scrooge's party." Huey replied, Dewey and Louie nodding in agreement.
"Why was he at Scrooge's party?" April asked, puzzled.
"It's a long story." Huey replied.
"We'll tell you later." said Lena as Louie handed her back the Diamond Dagger and she used her magic to make it extend. "Right now, all of you are gonna need some weapons.
"Good thing I always carry this baby with me." said Louie as he pulled his knopesh out from his toon space.
Lena waved her hand with a magenta swirl coming from it.
And in Huey, Dewey, Webby, Violet, April, May, and June's grapes appeared different types of weapons all coated in Lena's magenta magic.
Huey had a guandao, Dewey had blasters like Star-Lord, Webby had power gauntlets, Violet had an energy mace, April had a polearm that had a sun emblem with a blade sticking out of it, May had a single edged sword coursing with flames with a double edged handle and 3 gems, and June had a triangular khopesh. (8)
"WHOA! Thanks Lena!" said Dewey, amazed.
"No biggie." Lena said with a smirk.
"You may have fancy new doohickies, but we're still gonna pound ya!" Big Time sneered.
"Dream on, Beagle Breath!" Louie shot back.
"Let's kick their furry butts!" said Lena.
"Yeah!" the other eight said in unison.
They all charged at one another.
Dewey, Webby, and May charged at Big Time. The leader of his faction of the Beagle Boys tried to slam his fist in Webby's face, but the pink-clad duck ducked, socked him in the chin with one gauntlet and then jumped up and socked him in the fist with the other one, sending him flying back. As Big Time tried to get back up, May attached with her swords, slashing him left and right across his front. The smallest of the beagles tried to lunge at May, but she slid under him and Dewey attacked with his blasters, firing multiple blasts at Big Time, making him yelp in pain. Big Time tried to reach out again, but Webby flew above him with her grappling hook, kicking him in the face just as May upper sliced him with her sword and Dewey double-blasted him into the wall.
"Man! You guys are great!" May complimented.
"Thanks." smiled Webby. "You aren't so bad yourself!"
"Yeah, for a beginner you're doing pretty great May!" complimented Dewey.
"Thanks!" May smiled, flattered.
Just then, Big Time ran up to them yelling pathetically. Dewey and Webby ran up and uppercutted him in the face with their fists as May jumped up and slashed him right across his chest.
April dodged Burger as he tried to slam himself onto her and slashed dhim back with her glaive. Burger got back up and tried to punch her, but Huey slashed him back three times with his guando, followed by Violet with her energy mace as she blasted him against a decorative plant. Burger got back up and ran at them. Violet blasted him back with her energy mace as Huey and April spun around and slashed the thinnest beagle several times as he crashed onto the ground.
"Thanks for the assist!" said April.
"Happy to be of assistance." Violet replied, making the two girls giggle.
"Glad we could help." Huey smiled.
Burger weakly got back up as he tried to attack again, albeit pathetically. Not taking any chances, Huey and April jumped up and socked him in the face like they were fistbumping with him in between it as Violet blasted him backwards with her energy mace.
Lena backflipped away from Bouncer as he tried to slam his fists onto her once again. Lena smirked as she repeatedly slashed his arms and wrists. Louie and June tossed their khopeshes like boomerangs and they slashed Bouncer several more times before the two evil triplets jumped up and socked Bouncer in the eyes, making him exclaim in pain. As he lcuhed his face, Lena fired more magic blasts at the largest beagle several times. June then jumped up and tried to slash him across his chest, but Bouncer swung his arm around and knocked her back, making her cry out in pain as she landed on the ground. Before Bouncer could attack again, Louie and Lena jumped into the air and kicked him in the face, making him stumble and crash into a landline.
Louie and Lena helped June up.
"You ok?" Lena asked.
June grinned as her fellow cons helped her up. "Yep. Thanks for lending a hand." she replied.
"No prob June-deenie." Lena smirked.
"Always happy to help out a fellow evil triplet." Louie added.
Just then, Bouncer came charging back at them. Lena smirked as she three multiple blasts at him while Louie and Juen charged back and slashed him multiple times with their khopeshes.
Eventually, the three Original Classics were knocked out as the nine kids regrouped.
"Three down, one to go." smirked May.
Black Arts floated down towards them.
"Saved the best for last." he said as he conjured up some magic.
"You guys ready to take down this dark mutt?" asked Webby.
"You bet!" everyone else said together.
"You may have bested my normal brethren, but I am a magic expert!" Black Arts said dramatically. "You won't defeat me!"
"We'll see about that!" said Dewey, determined.
Black Arts threw some blasts of magic at the kids as they scattered around trying to avoid them. Violet ran at him first and fired some blasts from her energy mace as she lashed his arms. Black Arts was able to dodge half of them while still getting blasted. The grey-furred beagle was about to blast Violet in her face just as Huey attacked with guandao, spinning it around as he repeatedly slashed Black Arts. The magic beagle uppercutted Huey in the face with his fist and then threw him into Violet, knocking them both away. Louie and June attacked with their khopeshes, throwing them as they spun around and slashed Black Arts around his arms, legs, chest, and back. In retaliation, he fired some dark magic blasts at the two evil triplets, sending them flying backwards. Webby suddenly swung down from above with her grappling hook and kicked Black Arts in the face. Webby then swung and punched Black Arts in the chest and face multiple times with her gauntlets. Black Arts fired more magic blasts at her, but she was able to block them with her weapons. Dewey then jumped up and fired more blasts at the dark magic beagle, making stumble backwards in pain. Seething, Black Arts summoned more magic as he slammed his fists against the ground, knocking the two away. April and May ran at them, jumping into the air and spun around and slashed at Black Arts with their weapons as Lena snuck up from behind and struck him in the back with her Diamond Dagger several times before she placed her palm against his neck and blasted him with her magic, making him fly forwards on his face.
"ENOUGH OF THIS!" Black Arts snapped as he conjured a wave of magic that sent Lena, April, and May flying backwards.
"How are we gonna beat him?" asked April as everyone got back up.
"We work together." said Webby.
"As a team." said Huey.
"No… as a family!" Dewey declared.
Standing together with determined looks on their faces, the nine kids clutched their weapons and ran at Black Arts while dodging his magic blasts.
"Give me a boost Webby!" shouted Dewey.
Webby cupped her hands as Dewey jumped into them and she boosted him high into the air. Dewey fired multiple blasts at Black Arts. The grey-furred beagle tried to block them, but he was too distracted to see May run up behind him, jumping up and slashing him left and right with her weapon before kicking him in the back of his head. Black Arts stumbled forwards as Webby punched him extremely hard with her gauntlets, spun around, and kicked him in the face, making him fly back in alarm.
As Black Arts landed, he struggled to get up when he saw he was surrounded by Huey and Violet, smirking. Huey ran at him first, spinning his guandao rapidly as he struck Black Arts multiple times. The magic beagle tried to fight back, but Violet beat him to it as she blasted him multiple times with her energy mace.
"Now April!" the two called.
April ran up from behind Black Arts and attacked with her polearm, striking him multiple times before she blasted him hard, sending him flying back once more.
This time, Black Arts was able to land on his feet, but Lena was able to surprise attack him as she slashed him multiple times with her dagger. Lena then fired multiple blasts from her hands, making sure to strike Black Arts in the face. As Lena kicked him in the stomach, she jumped back and shouted,
"Show them what the evil triplets are made of!"
Black Arts looked behind him and saw Louie and June run up, clutching their khopshes tightly. Louie jumped up and slashed him across his face. June jumped up as well and slashed him across his arms and chest in one swing. Then together, Louie and June both upper slashed Black Arts with their khopeshes as Lena jumped up and side-kicked him in the back.
As Black Arts tumbled to the ground, the nine kids surrounded him.
"Now what?" asked May.
"Just aim your weapons at him. Leave the rest to me." Lena smirked.
Shrugging, everyone aimed their weapons at Black Arts. Lena conjured her magic, this time in a bright blue color. All nine weapons glowed blue before they gave off large blasts, colliding into Black Arts, making him howl in pain before he collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
Once all the commotion was done, Lena had dismissed everyone's weapons. Huey and Violet were trying up the still unconscious Big Time, Bouncer, Burger, and Black Arts in the same rope they tied Team Magic up in. Dewey wrote down a note telling the police what was going on.
"Cops are on their way." said June as she hung up the landline.
"Good. Let's get outta here. I'm executed." said Louie.
"Good idea." said Huey.
Nodding in agreement, the nine kids left the bank.
As they walked the streets of Duckburg to the bus station, they began to talk to one another.
"That was an awesome fight!" Dewey said enthusiastically.
"I know right?!" Webby said excitedly.
"Man, we really kicked their furry butts back there." Lena smirked.
"You said it girlfriend." May said as the two fistbumped.
"Gotta say, foiling a bank heist like that was the highlight of the day." said Huey.
"I couldn't agree more." said Violet.
"The best thing was, we all got to do it together." Webby said with a smile. "All nine of us."
"Yeah. When we work together, we can accomplish anything." April said in agreement.
"Well three of us each are smarter than the smarties, tougher than toughies, and sharper than the sharpeis." said Louie.
"You said it Lou." June smirked.
Webby, Lena, and Violet then looked guilty, concerning both sets of triplets.
"Hey girls, are you ok?" asked April.
"Well April… the thing is…" Lena began nervously.
"See, after spending the day with you guys, we noticed how close the six of you were becoming together." Webby said nervously.
"Well yeah, we were becoming good friends." nodded Huey.
"Well that's the thing." said Violet. "Seeing the six of you close together, both sets of triplets being friends with each other…" Violet gulped nervously. "Webby, Lena, and I, we... were sort of… jealous…"
Huey, Dewey, Louie, April, May, and June were taken aback.
"Jealous?" they said together.
"Mostly at you tree." Lena said to the girls.
April, May, and june were now more shocked.
"Jealous? Of us?" May asked in shock.
"Well, you guys were becoming such good friends with Huey, Dewey, and Louie." Webby explained. "And the three of us… well, we thought… we thought we would lose them as friends."
"That they would forget about us." added Lena.
"Because they have you know." added Violet.
Both sets of triplets were surprised, but smiled.
"Girls, we would never ever forget about you." Dewey said softly.
Webby, Violet, and Lena were taken aback.
"You wouldn't?!" The three asked in unison.
"Of course not." Louie smiled. "You girls are our best friends. Our sisters."
"After all that we've been through together, we would never consider no longer being friends with you three." Huey said with a smile.
"You really mean that?" Webby asked.
"Of course we do." nodded Dewey. "Webby, after everything we've been through together; the Spear of Selene mystery, taking you out of the mansion for fun, and all those adventures together, I was always happy to be your best friend."
"And Lena, I was always happy to be your friend too." added Louie. "Like Webby and the rest of our family and friends, I saw you as a real person. Magic and made of shadows or not, you're an amazing girl. Like Roxas, Xion, and Naminé, you're your own person, not Magica. And you continue to prove that everyday."
"And Violet, I meant it when I said I would be happy to be your friend." Huey said. "We're both skeptics turned believers, we like a lot of smart stuff not many other people understand, and we're often misunderstood by those people. I'm always happy to be your friend. And I will continue to stick by that."
Webby, Lena, and Violet were surprised by the boys' words, but immediately smiled with tears in their eyes. And without hesitation, they hugged the boys, which they gladly returned.
"AWW!" April, May, and June cooed with smiles on their faces.
Separating their hug, Huey, Dewey, and Louie looked guilty.
"We're sorry if we made you think we were pushing you away." Huey said apologetically.
April, May, and June then looked guilty too.
"And we're sorry if we made you feel like you three were losing your friends." April said apologetically.
Webby, Lena, and Violet smiled.
"It's ok guys." Webby said assuringly. "It's our fault for assuming such an idea."
"And y'know, you three are ok." Lena said as he pointed at Daisy's nieces.
"I concur." nodded Violet. "Would you three like to start over with us in becoming friends?" she asked.
April, May, and June smiled.
"We'd like that." May replied.
"So… does this mean that we're all best friends now?" Webby asked with a grin.
April, May and June looked unsure.
"Uh, are you six sure about that?" April asked.
"I mean, we don't want to ruin your whole 'Duckburg Six' thing." added May.
"Not at all." smield Dewey. "I mean, you three aren't part of the Duckburg Six, but who says we can't expand our circle of friends?"
April, May, and June smiled.
"Then of course we can all be best friends." said June.
"Yeah. We're honored to be a part of your circle of friends." April said in agreement.
Everyone beamed.
"Alright! Best friends!" Webby cheered. "Oh and by the way, where did you girls learn how to fight like that?"
"Aunt Daisy taught us a couple of stuff when she was trying to make sure she would never be a damsel in distress again." said June.
"And we learned a couple of more stuff from an old friend of ours Aunt Daisy and Donal knew during their days at the Quackmore Institute." May smirked.
"Really? Who was it?" asked Louie.
"We'll tell you when the both of them decide to tell you about it." said April.
"Just trust us on that." June smirked.
The Duckburg Six glanced at one another but shrugged.
"And where did you guys learn how to fight like that?" asked April.
"Webby taught us a lot of stuff since her grandmother's a retired spy." said Huey.
"And me and my bros learned some moves so we could learn how to defend ourselves on missions." added Dewey.
"With some help from Uncle Donald and Uncle Scrooge every now and then." added Louie.
"And the four of them taught us." added Violet.
"Cool." the Duck girls said in unison.
About an hour later, the nine best friends were all dropped off back at the castle. In front of the gates, Sora, Riku, Kairi, Aqua, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie, and Daisy were chatting.
"So after figuring out the heist, she joined the crew because she wanted friends?" asked Aqua.
"Yeah. She didn't have many close female friendships and according to her, book clubs are the worst, so she thought, 'Y'know… this could be something fun to share.'" Kairi replied.
"And that eight shares of $150,000,000 were better than seven shares of nothing." added Sora. (9)
"That is interesting, I'll give it that." Aqua mused.
Just then, the nine kids came up.
"Hey guys!" Webby greeted.
"Oh hey kids!" Daisy greeted. "How's everything going?"
"Did you guys all work everything out?" asked Donald.
"We did." nodded Huey.
"We talked to one another and we all became friends." said Violet.
"You mean best friends!" Webby corrected.
"That's so sweet." smiled Aqua.
"But wait, doesn't that-" Goofy began in confusion.
"No, we're not part of the Duckburg Six." said April.
"But we are a part of their circle of friends." May said.
"Well that's very nice to hear." said Minnie.
"Yep. After we foiled a bank robbery by the Beagle Boys." Louie added.
Everyone else was taken aback.
"You fought the Beagle Boys?!" Donald quacked in shock.
"How many were there?" asked Mickey.
"Only four." Louie replied.
"But Lena here gave us some magical weapons and we kicked their butts hard and left them tied up in the bank for the fuzz to pick them up." said Dewey.
"Nice." Soira chuckled as he and Dewey high-fived.
"Well at least you nine all worked together to stop them." said Donald with a smile.
"Yeah we're a team." nodded Huey.
"Just like you guys and the others." added Lena.
"We sure are." Sora said as he wrapped his arms around Riku and Kairi, who smiled.
"So, what did we miss?" asked Dewey.
Just then, Ven rolled by in a hamsterball.
"I lost your bikes." he told the ducks and hummingbird. (10)
Everyone blinked.
In the screening room, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Lena, Violet were introducing April, May, and June to Darkwing Duck while they were eating some leftover chili cheese dogs from dinner.
On the TV show, Paddywhack cackled evilly as he spun around and possessed Quackerjack's doll, Mr. Banana Brain. The doll's eyes glowed red as it attacked Darkwing Duck. Darkwing fell to the ground, but quickly got back up, leaped away from being bitten by the possessed doll, and pulled out his gas gun.
"Suck gas you perfidiously possessed plantain!" shouted Darkwing as he blasted the doll, only to be pushed away from the force.
"Wow. This show is amazing." April said in awe.
"I'm surprised we've never seen this show before. Darkwing Duck is amazing." May added.
"Well your aunt didn't fully know about it until after we introduced it to her about six months ago." said Huey.
"Makes sense." shrugged May.
"I just can't believe Jim Starling did all of his own stunts." said June.
"The guy is awesome." Dewey said in agreement.
"Just like how these chili cheese dogs are awesome." Lena said as she finished the rest of hers. Lena then released a loud burp.
*UUUURRRRRPPP!*
"Nice one." Dewey laughed as everyone else laughed in amusement.
"Thanks." Lena smirked as she patted her belly. "With that said, we should probably get some sleep soon. Gonna let these rip in privacy." (11)
"Me too." Louie said in agreement as he patted his stomach.
"Me three." June said as she rubbed her stomach as well.
Huey, Dewey, Webby, Violet, April, and May cringed in disgust.
"Would you mind sleeping in the cabana to do so then?" April asked, disgusted.
"Sure. No biggie." June said lazily.
"Ooh wait!" Webby said excitedly as she turned to April, May, and June. She pulled out something from her toonspace. "I made you three these."
They were bracelets similar to what the Duckburg Six wore. The Duck girls each took one. April's was yellow, May's was orange, and June's was purple.
"What are these Webs?" asked May.
"They're friendship bracelets!" Webby beamed. "Now that you're part of our circle of friends, you get to have these to show it."
April, May, and June were flattered.
"Gee, thanks Webby." smield April as they put them on.
"Yeah, that's really sweet." added May.
"Welcome aboard you three." said Lena.
"Thanks guys." smiled April.
"To our friendship!" Dewey said as he held up his Pep! can.
"Yeah!" they all said together as they raised their Pep! cans and clinked them together.
From the hallway, Donald and Daisy smiled at one another after seeing that.
"Aren't they all cute together as friends?" Daisy asked.
"They sure are." Donald replied.
"When do you think the girls will tell the boys how they feel?" Daisy asked as they walked to their rooms.
"When they're comfortable doing so." Donald replied. "And I know the same applies to the boys."
"Then I guess it'll be April, May, and June's job to make sure they stay together." Daisy joked.
The both of them laughed in measurement as they went to their rooms to sleep for the night.
It had been a really crazy day. But that day, a new friendship was formed between Huey, Dewey, & Louie Duck, Webby Vanderquack, Lena, Violet Sabrewing, and April, May, & June Duck.
They were truly best friends now.
To be continued...
And after a crazy day, April May, and June are now officially best friends with Huey, Dewey, Louie, April, May, and June. The Duck boys and Team Magic will confess their love for one another soon. All in due time.
