Monstropolis:

In front of the factory, the group of 29 made their way up to the front doors. But the moment they had set foot on the world's land, something changed about every single one of them. Something big.

"Man, this factory is huge!" exclaimed Lea.

"And I thought Uncle Scrooge's Money Bin was enormous." mused Donald.

"Wonder what we will find inside." mused Xion.

Sora looked back and nodded to his friends as they continued forward… only to stop as they suddenly realized something. They all looked at each other… and screamed in alarm as they jumped back in fright.

The Keyblade Masters summoned their signature Keyblades, staff, and shield, Webby drew her grappling hook, and Lena's hands were engulfed in magic.

They had all turned into monsters!

Sora was in a bestial form covered in pale blue fur. His ears were larger and pointed, his fingers ended in black claws, and his legs became somewhat canine in structure, with three-clawed feet. He also had a small, canine tail, and his hair became more leaf-like, obscuring one eye. He lacked pants and shoes, although his gauntlets and jacket were unchanged.

Riku had taken on a slightly darker shade of pale blue in his beastial form, though he was more scaly with some dark blue scales in a few spots. His silver hair was leaflike like Sora's, covering one eye. His fingers ended in black claws, he had a lizard tail with yellow spikes, and he had three-clawed feet. He also had two yellow horns sticking out of his head. He still retained his jacket and gauntlets.

Kairi's monster form was similar to Sora's, expect her fur was a cherry-pink along with a canine tail, blakc claws, and three-clawed feet. Her hair remained the same and she still wore her dress and bracelets.

Lea was in a bestail form with orangish-yellow fur and his red spiky hair was bigger with two horns on the top. He had two-clawed feet, his feet and finger claws being red. He also had tattoos of the sun on the side of high furry thighs with two diamonds underneath, as well as a small tail that looked like fire. Instead of his Organization cloak, Lea wore one of his new clothes he wore under it; a long sleeveless hooded black vest, as well as a red wrist watch.

Isa was in a beastial form as well that was navy blue with lighter blue horizontal stripes, bigger and spikier hair, horns on his head, and a long tail. Instead of his Organization cloak, he wore a piece of his new clothes: a long-sleeved, knee-length black duster jacket with a short front zipper on either side and a column of five buttons on a dark gray flap next to a long zipper down the middle. The jacket and its sleeves had a gray camouflage patterning along the sides, though it is wider on the sides of the jacket, a high collar, a different colored stripe along the shoulders and down the length of the sleeves with a gold medallion on the left breast bearing a gold star and a waxing crescent moon.

Roxas was in a similar form as Sora, except his fur was black with swhite spots. His hair was leafy, his tail had some spikes, and the only clothes he wore was his jacket, bracelet, and rings.

Naminé was in a similar style to Kairi, except her fur was white with silver stripes, her hair curved at the bottom of her shoulders, and claws the same shade of blue as her sandals. She retained her dress.

Xion was in a similar form as Kairi was well, but her fur was black, her hair was leafy, and instead of her coat, she wore a sleeveless double buttoned, collared shirt and a black belt, a short white pleated skirt.

Ven was also in a similar form as Sora, beastial and his hair was leaf-like, except his fur was pale green. Of the clothes he usually wore, he now only wore his jacket, strap with the Terra Mark symbol, shoulder armor, and checkered bracelet.

Aqua has smooth sky-blue skin with leaf-like hair, harm arms darkening to a navy blue and her fingertips cherry-red with claws and four-clawed feet. She still retained her black and navy blue, high-collared halter top, black corset with two pairs of white laces and black shorts, two pink straps intersecting over her chest with the Terra mark symbol, and her arm armor.

Terra was like an older verion of Riku's beastial form, but his fur was brown. His claws were gold and he had a spiky tail. He also had five-toed clawed feet. He retained his black shirt, red straps, glove, gauntlet, belt with Terra mark symbol, and the top part of his armor.

Myde was in a beastial form similar to Lea and Isa, but his fur was tan. He had gold claws, a spiky tail, and three-toed clawed feet. And instead of his Organization cloak, he instead wore a white v-neck t-shirt, a black vest with two pockets on each side, a silver chain necklace, a few bracelets on his right arm, and a black CASIO calculator wrist watch on his left arm.

Mickey was in a similar form from the time he switched brains with Julius. His cream fur was grey and all of his fur was scruffy. In place of his gloves were silver claws and his tail was jagged. He still retained his KHIII jacket.

Minnie looked similar to Mickey, except she wore her jacket and belt, burt also wore a large red bow on her head.

Donald was in a featherless cyclopic form with light blue skin. His single blue eye was perfectly round in the center of his face under two small protrusions. He retained his duck bill, but it now featured four fangs, and he had two small horns on his head. His legs took on the same color and texture as the rest of his body, and his hands and feet beared gray claws on the fingers and toes. In place of tail feathers, he has a small lavender spike, which matched the membrane of his two bat-like purple wings. He retained his usual clothes in this form, though his shirt no longer has sleeves.

Daisy was similar to Donald, except her skin was lavaner and her eye was pink. She still wore her vest, belt, and arm bracelets, but also wore a large purple bow.

Goofy took on a monstrous form with aqua-green skin. His forearms and calves were enlarged and spotted with irregular shapes of a slightly darker color, and he had gray claws on his fingers and toes. His eyes were now raised off his head and had heterochromia iridum, with the right eye blue and the left eye red. His nose had become pointed, as had his two teeth, and he no longer had ears, though had two small tentacle-like protrusions from the back of his head, which faded from aqua to purple. He wore only his black zip-up vest and his usual hat, which had become a more greenish-yellow with a black band.

Max was in a similar form as his dad, though his skin was red, his left eye was blue and his right eye was red. His tentacle-like protrusions on the back of his head faced from red to yellow. He still retained his vest as well.

Oswald was a monster rabbit with buggy eyes, sharp claws and teeth with 2 buck teeth and slightly torn ears. He had dark blue fur as well, though he still retained his zip-up shirt.

Ortensia was in a monster cat form, her fur was scruffy and her peach fur was gray. She had silver sharp claws and her tail was frizzy. She still wore her vest, but she wore a large pink bow.

Huey, Dewey and Louie looked a little like Donald; Huey was red, Dewey was blue, and Louie was green. They still wore their regular clothes, though Huey's eye popped out of his hat, Dewey had scales and even claws and Louie had a tail with light green stripes on his arms and legs.

Webby also looked like Donald, but more furry with said fur being pink and light purple and her eyes were heterochromia iridum like Goofy, except her eyes were pink and purple. She retained her shirt, vest, shirt, and bow.

Lena was slightly taller, her skin was gray with black spots all over her body. She still wore her shirts and her hairstyle was the same, but she lacked her shoes.

Violet had scales and her skin was purple with light purple stripes and her feet were green. She retained her regular shirt but lacked her pants.

April, May, and June looked similar to Donald as well. They retained their regular clothes and ribbon bows.

April was yellow and had pink stripes on her legs, as well as horns on both sides of her head.

May was orange with yellow spots and furry as well. Her hair was also scruffier and she had scales on her neck going down her back.

And finally, June was purple with light blue feet, and two small-tentacle like protrusions that faded from purple to pink.

Everyone could only look at each other in shock.

"MONSTERS" screamed Huey.

"Who are all of you?!" exclaimed Myde.

"What is going on?!" shrieked Naminé.

"What happened to us?!" screamed Lea.

"I look SCARY!" screamed Louie.

"FELLAS!" shouted Mickey. "Calm down! I think these are the forms we take in this world."

"Are you serious?!" exclaimed Ven.

"Why do we all look like monsters?" asked Dewey.

"Maybe monsters live in this world." suggested Webby.

"Not what I had in mind for our first Keyblade-themed mission." said Lena.

"Well we do have to blend in like in the Toy Box, Halloween Town, and the Pride Lands." said Violet.

"Violet's correct." said Aqua. "Despite the circumstances, there is a World Order that has to be maintained in other parts."

"Then I guess we'll just have to get used to being scary monsters." said June.

"You guys are catching on well." smiled Oswald.

"This is so freaky." said Roxas, looking over his monster form.

"Well you all did scare me." Goofy chuckled.

"I think we were all scared of each other Dad." Max quipped.

"Makes sense, there are 29 of us." said Sora. "Well now that we know why we look this way, let's see exactly what this factory is all about."

"Well there is some writing on the wall." said Huey.

Everyone looked and saw the letters above the front doors.

"'We Scare Because We Care'?" Sora asked aloud.

"What do you think that means?" asked Kairi.

"Usually scaring would be like in Halloween Town." said Roxas.

"Maybe it's a Halloween Factory!" Dewey piped up. "You know, for decorations and costumes."

Several of them chuckled in amazement.

"Yeah a Halloween Factory would be this big." Louie snarked.

"If it is, then it's the biggest Halloween factory I've ever seen in my entire life." chuckled Kairi.

"See Mike? Even other monsters have the idea of walking to work, hence the lack of cars." came a deep voice.

"Yeah yeah yeah lark it up all you want. Because once this is all past, it's back to taking my car, to work, the way it's supposed to be." came a slightly higher voice.

Everyone turned around and saw two more monsters walking up to the factory.

One was a large hairy cyan monster with purple spots and indigo blue eyes. He had curved horns, white claws, razor sharp fangs, a huge chin, white spikes that ran down his backside to the end of his long dinosaur-like tail, and a large furry fat belly. He had bushy eyebrows and a teal nose.

The other was a spherical round lime-skinned monster with a single emerald green, cyclopian eye. He had slender arms and legs, both with claws, but he had four fingers on each hand and three toes on each foot. On his head is a pair of short horns with dark gray coloring.

They both were carrying what looked like black lunchboxes.

They took notice of the large group in front of them.

"Hey look here Sulley, looks like we got company." said the green monster, who by deduction of the group, was the one named 'Mike.'

"Looks like we do." said Sulley. "Hello there, are you here to visit Monsters Incorporated? Mr. Waternoose didn't mention that we were having visitors."

"Uh… yes we are." Sora quickly said. "We're from outta town."

"Ah so you're here to visit Monstropolis to take in the scenery?" Mike asked. "Can't blame you, it's one heck of a town."

"I guess you can say that." Terra chuckled.

"We're a bit curious as to what this factory here is all about." said Mickey.

Mike and Sulley were surprised.

"You mean you don't know what Monsters Incorporated is all about?" Mike asked.

Everyone shook their heads.

"This is our first time here." said Naminé.

"So what do you guys do here?" asked Lea.

"To simply put it, Monsters Incorporated is all about power." said Mike. "And not ruling, power, oh no. Electric power."

"Oh so you're like a power plant." said Huey.

"Something like that." said Sulley. "The power we supply for Monstropolis is scream power."

The team traded confused glances.

"What's scream power exactly?" asked Aqua.

"The company has an entire area filled with doors to the human world, mainly children's bedrooms." said Mike. "The basic idea is that once you get a door, the scarer, like Sulley here, goes in scares the child, and we collect their scream."

"The process repeats until the end of the day." said Sulley. "Once a good majority of canisters are full, they're sent all around town where they power up our homes."

Everyone listened to what Sulley and Mike said, though some were more shocked at certain parts.

"So wait, you use children's sceams?" Kairi asked, horrified.

"As in you intentionally scare them?!" Minnie added.

"That is the basic idea, yes." nodded Sulley.

"How could you all do such a thing?!" exclaimed Webby, taking the two monsters aback.

"Yes, you're intentionally scaring the living daylights out of them!" said Aqua.

"In the middle of the night no less!" added Sora.

"Hey it's not like we're trying to hurt them." Sulley said. "We're just trying to help power the town."

"So there's no malicious intent behind it?" Mickey surmised.

"Of course not! We may be monsters, but we're not literal monsters." said Mike.

"But still, do you really have to scare the little fellers?" asked Goofy.

"Well how else are we supposed to power our city?" retorted Mike.

"Is there any other source of power?" asked Sora.

"Yeah, maybe something that could substitute scream power." nodded Violet.

"Well if there was, we would use it." said Mike. "But there isn't. And until there is, scream power is all we got."

"I suppose that's fair…" murmured Mickey.

"Hey, I'm just a guy trying to help his town thrive. We're just doing our jobs." Sulley said, raising his hands.

Sora and his team looked at each other.

"Ok, I'm sorry for snapping." said Kairi.

"If there really is no other way, then I guess we'll just have to accept that." said Naminé.

"But maybe while we're here, we can help you." suggested Huey.

"Yeah! Helping others is what we do!" said Sora.

"And the nine of us tagged along for the ride!" Dewey chimed in, gesturing to his brothers and figurative sisters.

"And we're a bit curious as to how all of this works." said Isa.

"Yeah, I mean, we only have your words for it." nodded Lea.

Sulley and Mike traded glances.

"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to show you all how it's done." said Sulley. "I'm sure our CEO Mr. Waternoose will allow it."

"Yeah we could use all the help we can get. There's a scream shortage going on." said Mike.

The 29 world-travellers traded glances.

"What's a scream shortage?" asked Myde.

"Human children aren't as scared as they used to be." explained Mike. "So there's been a lack of screams and therefore, a lack of power."

"So we need to make sure we really let the scare out these days so our entire town doesn't experience blackouts." said Sulley.

"Gosh, that doesn't sound good." said Mickey.

"Mickey's right. Even if we don't agree on how you get your power, your entire city doesn't deserve to face blackouts." said Terra.

"Well then come on in and see where the magic happens!" said Mike. "By the way, the name's Mike Wazowski. I'm the assistant to this big guy." he added, gesturing to Sulley.

Sulley chuckled. "James P. Sullivan. But please, call me Sulley."

"Of course Sulley!" said Sora. "I'm Sora. This is Riku, Kairi, Lea, Isa, Roxas, Xion, Naminé, Myde, Terra, Aqua, Ven, Mickey, his wife Minnie, his brother Oswald, Oswald's wife Ortensia, Donald, his fiancé Daisy, Goofy, his son Max, Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, Daisy's nieces April, May, and June, and their friends Webby, Lena, and Violet."

"That must've been quite the mouthful for Sora." Lea quipped.

"And he pulled it off very well." said Kairi with a proud smile.

"Wow, you all are quite the crowd." mused Mike. "You all travel together?"

"The 20 of us do." said Riku. "The kids are with us for this one."

"Yeah! We're ready to fight bad guys and save this entire place!" Dewey declared proudly.

"It's our destinies!" May added.

"And we will do it well or die trying!" Webby added happily.

"Hopefully without dying." Louie deadpanned.

Sulley and Mike blinked.

"They got a lot of energy." mused Sulley.

"You'd get used to it." Sora chuckled. "So you think you can show us around the factory like you said?"

"Sort of. I mean, we do have to work." said Sulley. "But we can show you how it all works on the Scare Floor."

"Then take us to it!" said Ven.

"Good! Follow us!" said Mike.

The two regular monsters led the group through the main doors. When they entered, Sora and Co. were in awe.

The main hall was about 2-3 stories tall. There was one front desk, a large map of their world, clocks over the halls, and the roof was a glass dome.

What mainly caught their attention was all the monsters that came in all shapes and sizes. The amount of eyes, legs, and arms, the colors, they were all amazed.

"Wow!" Sora, Kairi, Ven, Roxas, Xion, Naminé, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, April, May, and June said in awe.

"Look at all the monsters!" said Goofy.

"And they all work here? That's pretty cool." mused Max.

"I've seen my fair share of monsters in books from Magica, but they don't look as menacing." said Lena.

"Same on our adventures with Uncle Scrooge." said Violet.

"They seem… pretty friendly." mused Aqua.

"That one doesn't… kinda." said April, pointing a head.

The group of 31 looked to see a big monster approach them. It was a large obese gray crab / spider-like monster, completely bald, with five eyes, walking around on a set of six crab-like legs. He was wearing a black tuxedo jacket over a white shirt, a red vest, and a black bow tie.

"Good morning Mr. Waternoose!" greeted Sulley.

"Good morning gentlemen, I see we have quite a handful of new faces here this morning." said Waternoose, looking at the group.

"Yeah they're new recruits." said Mike. "They're traveling but said they could help us with the scream shortage."

"Hmm…" mused Waternoose, stroking his chin as he gazed at the group, making them a bit nervous. "Very well then, we need to do what we can to keep this company afloat."

He stook out his hand. "Henry J. Waternoose III, I am the CEO of Monsters Incorporated." he said.

"A pleasure to meet you Mr. Waternoose." Mickey said, shaking the older monster's hand.

Introductions were made.

"Now then, I hope these two will help you get the idea on how things work in this factory," he said. "If you wish to participate, you will get a demonstration today and then you will work tomorrow in the training room. All the stations have their own occupants."

"Yes sir Mr. Waternoose!" nodded Sora.

"We look forward to seeing how your business is run." said Isa.

'Even if little children don't deserve it.' Kairi thought bitterly.

"I will see you on the Scare Floor when everything starts." said Waternoose as he left the group.

"He seems… interesting." said Sora.

"Oh he's always like that." said Mike. "But after we worked our way up from the mailroom to the scare floor, he welcomed us right in."

"He's just more serious than usual these days due to the shortage." said Sulley.

Sora and his friends traded glances.

"I hope that's the only reason." said Louie, frowning.

"Same, something's a little off with him." said June.

"Ah don't worry about it." said Mike. "Now then before we go, I gotta make a little stop by our company's secretary." he added with a flirtatious smile as he walked away from the group.

Sulley rolled his eyes as the group looked confused.

"What's he talkin' about Sulley?" asked Goofy.

"His girlfriend, Celia Mae." said Sulley.

At the front desk sat a slender, light, magenta monster with sentient purple hair that resembled 5 snakes. She wore a green slick, sleeveless dress with a scale print design and a blueish green puffy collar. She had a single aquamarine blue eye.

"Monsters, Inc., please hold. Monsters, Inc., I'll connect you. Ms. Fearmonger is on vacation, would you like her voicemail?" she said into the headphones as Sora, Mike Sulley, and Co. approached the desk.

"Oh, Schmoopsie-Poo?" Mike said in a flirting away.

Celia turned with a big, bright smile.

"Googly Bear!" she grinned.

Her snakes sighed contentedly.

"Oh boy it's the couple nicknames." Lea gagged.

"Ugh, so cliché!" huffed Dewey.

"Happy birthday." said Mike.

"Oh, Googly-Woogly, you remembered!" Celia gushed, gently rubbing Mike's head. She turned to Sulley. "Hey, Sulley-Wulley."

"Oh, hey, Celia... Welia." Sulley said, uncomfortable before he cleared his throat. "Happy birthday."

"Thanks." Celia giggled. "And I see we have some new faces. Are you here to work at Monsters Incorporated?"

"You could say that." said Sora. "Nice to meet you Celia."

"And Happy Birthday!" Ven chimed in.

"Why thank you." Celia smiled before she turned to Mike. "So, uh, are we going anywhere special tonight?"

"I just got us into a little place called, um, 'Harryhausen's.'" Mike smirked.

Celia and her snakes gasped. "Harryhausen's?! But it's impossible to get a reservation there."

"Not for Googly Bear." Mike replied, making Celia and the snakes giggle. "I will see you at quittin' time and not a minute later."

"Okay, sweetheart," said Celia.

"Think romantical thoughts," said Mike before he began to sing. "YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU AND MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, ME AND YOOOOOOOOOOOOOU, BOTH OF US TOGETHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!"

Mike sang and danced out of the lobby as the rest of the group gave either amused our bemused expressions.

"Let's try not to be like them that way." Sora said to Kairi.

"Oh I don't know, I might just give you a nickname someday." Kairi smirked, making Sora blush at the thought.

"Were we ever like that?" Mickey asked Minnie.

"Maybe…" Minnie said with a coy smile.

"I know for a fact we weren't that bad," said Oswald.

"I might have to disagree with you there Honey Bunny." Ortensia teased with a giggle.

"I hope you and Mom weren't like that when I was a baby Dad." Max shuddered.

"Oh I don't know, romance was all around us, even when you were just a little tyke Maxie." Goofy grinned, making Max groan.

None of the group saw Randall Boggs watch them from a distance. He smirked.

"So those are the group of brats Maleficent showed us," he mused. "This is gonna be loads of fun."

After going through the locker rooms, the 29 travelers made it to the Scare Floor entrance.

"So what do we do now?" asked Louie.

"Mike and Sulley told us to wait here until Mike arrives," said Mickey. "Then they'll show us how things are done on the Scare Floor."

"I know I don't like the idea of scaring kids for power, but I am curious to see how it's done." said Webby.

"Me too. Maybe we can find an alternate source of power." said April.

"But for now, keep an eye out for any suspicious characters." said Isa.

"That and any Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed." added Sora.

"Ooh I can't wait to fight them!" Dewey said, determined.

"Yeah you get a good thrill out of destroying those little evil freaks." said Roxas.

"Hey here comes Mike!" said Oswald.

The group saw Mike, holding a blue worker helmet, approach an office where someone was reading a newspaper.

"Good morning, Roz, my succulent little garden snail. And who would we be scaring today?" Mike greeted.

He reached for some paperwork on the desk, but Roz's hand landed on it first. She was an old slug with brownish-yellow skin, gray eyes, and light gray, pointed hair. On her face, she has a mole below the corner of her mouth and wore pink blush and dark pink lipstick. She wore a maroon V-neck vest, black cat-eye glasses, and a black watch on her left arm.

"Wazowski! You didn't file your paperwork last night." Roz said sternly, taking the group aback.

"Oh, that darn paperwork! Wouldn't it be easier if it all just blew away?" Mike asked coyly.

Roz leans forward in her chair threateningly. "Don't let it happen again." she said firmly.

"Yes, well, uh, I'll try to be less careless." Mike said sheepishly, grabbing the paperwork and shuffling away.

"I'm watching you, Wazowski. Always watching. Always." Roz called out.

"Ooh, she's nuts." Mike said to himself, slipping his helmet on.

"Who was that Mike?" asked Sora as the group followed him.

"Oh that's Roz, she handles all the paperwork for the Scare Floor." Mike replied. "It has files on human children and their fears."

"She seems… interesting." admitted Kairi.

"Yeah she's an interesting character." Mike nodded. "Just try not to get on her bad side and she won't be a thorn in your foot."

"Duly noted." nodded Aqua.

"All scare floors are now active. Assistants, please report to your stations." came Celia's voice.

"Aright, I'll show you all how it's done!" said Mike. "Follow me! There's spare helmets in the back of the stations."

Nodding, the group each grabbed a helmet, Donald, Goofy Minnie, Daisy, and Ortensia removing their hats and bows to put theirs on.

Mike grabbed a yellow canister.

"Now this little puppy here is a scream canister." he said.

"That's what you collect the screams in?" surmised Violet.

"Exactly!" Mike nodded.

Mike walked over to his door station and put the canister in.

"So how do you get a door?" asked Ven. "You said you go through doors to the human world."

Mike opened a file and pulled out a card. "With this! It may look like a regular card, but these kinds get you your doors. You swipe them here." he said.

Mike swipes the card-key through a slot on the station. Up above, a child's closet door rode out into the Scare Floor on an overhead track.

"Ooh!" the team said in awe.

"Now that is good technology." commented Lea.

"So it's a closet door?" asked Isa.

"Makes sense about those old tales of monsters hiding in your closet," said Donald.

"We passed that stage when we were 4." said Huey.

"Same here," said June.

"I passed that stage at 3." said Webby.

"I passed it at 2." said Violet, surprising her friends. "I was a lot smarter than that even back then… until the Shadow War."

"I never had that stage due to Magica and all the stuff she made me study," said Lena. "I was kinda immune to it."

"The majority of us passed that stage around the time we hit double-digits," said Sora.

"Then again, with all the shit we've seen, it may be more real than we think," said Ven.

"And the proof's right in front of us." said Daisy as the door was pulled into place.

"So here's how it goes." said Mike. "We turn on a button and a red light appears above the door, signaling that we can now go through to the human world. Sulley goes in, scares the child, the canister collects the scream as shown on the meter. Once it reaches the top, we take it our and put it on a cart to be wheeled away so the power can be distributed to all of Monstropolis."

"Gosh, that's amazing!" said Mickey.

"And you do this everyday?" asked Minnie.

"Yep! Sulley and I always dreamed of benign a part of this ever since we were little." said Mike. "We even attended Monsters University where we met." He grimaced. "Things… didn't work out so well, but our experience helped us get to where we are now."

"That's pretty cool." said Sora.

Everyone watched the other assistants follow suit. Doors rode out of the vault and landed in stations.

"This is really gonna be something." said Ven.

Terra then looked tense.

"Terra, what's wrong?" asked Aqua.

"I recognize that smell." Terra said with a frown. "Get ready to fight!"

As if on cue, Unversed spawned around the Scare Floor.

Floods, Red Hot Chilis, Ringers, Buckle Bruisers, and Turtletoads were scattered around.

The assistants screamed in fright.

"What are they?!" cried Mike.

"Spooky monsters!" cried one called Charlie.

"Creepy crawlies!" called another named Fungus.

"Everybody stand back!" said Sora, summoning Kingdom Key. "We'll deal with them!"

"Hide under the desks!" Mike shouted.

Quickly, all the assistants jumped towards their desks and hid.

"Where there's Unversed, there's Vanitas." snarled Ven, summoning Wayward Wind.

"I don't see that idiot around here." said Lea, summoning Flame Liberator.

"We can find him later." said Mickey, summoning Kingdom Key W. "Right now, we gotta get rid of these guys!"

Riku summoned Braveheart, Kairi summoned Destiny's Embrace, Minnie summoned Starlight, Donald summoned Mage's Staff and Unbound, Goofy summoned Knight's Shield and Royal Radiance, Daisy summoned Spellbinder, Max summoned Fenrir, Oswald summoned Classic Tone, Ortensia summoned Zero/One, Roxas summoned Two Become One, Xion summoned Lost Memory, Naminé summoned Shooting Star, Isa summoned Blue Moon, Myde summoned Mystic Water, Aqua summoned Stormfall, and Terra summoned Ends of the Earth.

"Looks like we got bad guy butt to kick!" grinned Webby.

"So, Sora. How do we summon our weapons like you guys?" Dewey asked.

"Picture your weapons with your head and concentrate with your heart and they should appear in your hands." Sora said.

"Got it." Louie nodded.

"Do as he says." instructed Lena.

The kids closed their eyes and held their hands out. At that moment in bright flashes, they appeared in their grasps.

Huey had his Spirit Guando, Dewey had his Laser Sabers, Louie had his Khopesh, Webby had her Persian Blade, Lena had her Diamond Dagger, Violet had her Energy Mace, April had her Sun Glaive, May had her Starfire Sword, and June had her Viper Khopesh.

Dewey stylishly spun one of his sabers. "That's more like it! Let's kick some nega-tail feathers!" he said, determined.

Sora started off the fight as he jumped in the air and slashed some Floods. As he landed, he held Kingdom Key up and then casted Exo Spark, electrocuting them to death. Lea fended off against two Turtletoads, slashing their foreheads with his Keyblade. They stomped the ground, making the pyro stumble backwards, but he used Blackout to immobilize them and then finished them with a Firaga Burst spell. Roxas fended off against some Ringers as he tried to avoid getting slammed. Roxas casted orbs of light at them before he used Ice Barrage to finish them off. Bucks Bruisers surrounded Kairi as she slashed at them. Kairi jumped from their attacks and then casted Triple Plasma to kill them. Mickey blocked the fireballs fired from some Red Hot Chilis with his Keyblade. The king then held up Kingdom Key W high and then casted Flame Fall on top of them. Donald and Goofy teamed up against two more Turtletoads coming at them. Goofy did his Goofy-Tornado spin against them as Donald stunned them, casting Bind with his staff. The court magician and king's captain then held their Keyblades high and casted Blizzaga together, destroying the Unversed. Naminé slashed and gashed several Ringers surrounding her, trying to find the real one. Getting an idea, the blonde-haired Keyblade Master casted Icicle Mine to rain down on them, killing them. Xion rushed at some Dusks and slashed them with Lost Memory. Seven of them tried to dogpile her, but the former replica shoved them off of her and then casted Tornado Tracer to kill them. Riku jumped over several Buckle Bruisers, dodging their swinging fists. The oldest islander fired orbs of light to knock them back and then casted Triple Firaga to destroy them.

Terra swung his Keyblade against some more Red Hot Chilis, narrowing dodging their Fireballs. The oldest brunette jumped into the air and then slammed his Keyblade against the scare floor, and casted Quake, launching them into the air before he fired orbs of light to destroy them. Aqua spun around, using her Keyblade to slash at the Buckle Bruiser's throats. She fired light spells at their faces and then jumped in the air and unleashed Raging Storm to kill them. Ven swing Wayward Wind around a Turtletoad while also dodging its giant feet typing to stomp him. Using a Poison spell to weaken it, the youngest of the Wayfinder trio held his Keyblade up high and unleashed a Triple Thundaga spell, not only finishing it off, but also striking a few Floods as well. Isa fired a series of Moonlight spells at more Red Hot Chilis before they charged at him. Thinking quickly, the Luna Diviner used Aeroga to send them into the air and then casted Balloonga, the spells exploding and killing them. Myde casted a variety of water spells to fend off the Ringers. They tried to attack him from above, but he used Zero Gravity to slow them down and then used a Dark Firaga spell to finish them. Oswald slid under another Turtletoad and fired light spells against it. The giant unversed tried to attack Oswald, but the rabbit king used his ears (which thankfully still spun like helicopter blades) to fly in the air and unleash a Meteor spell to destroy it. Ortensia jumped high to avoid the Floods lunging at her before she used Thundaga Shot to kill them as she landed on the ground. Minnie bashed her Keyblade against more Buckle Bruisers that tried to sock her in the face. The mouse queen then raised her Keyblade and performed Deep Freeze, giving the Unversed an icy death. Daisy slashed several Ringers across their emblems before she was surrounded by five of them. Smirking, the oldest female duck raised her Keyblade high, and then brought it down as she casted Blizzaga Pursuit, moving around to annihilate the surrounding Unversed. Max rushed against another Turtletoad on his skateboard, using it to jump the attacks as he slashed its tentacles and legs, weakening it. Max then skateboarded off some equipment on the Scare Floor, soared towards the Universed landed landed right on its forehead, casting Mega Flare re in the process, managing to destroy it.

Huey used his Spirit Guandao to slash away at some Ringers. He tried stabbing them right through the emblems as well. Seeing four more of them heading towards him he stuck his blade into the ground and spun around the polearm, kicking away the four Unversed and send them crashing into a wall.

Several more Ringers attack Dewey but he uses his twin Laser Sabres to slice them in half and kicks them away. Some floods charge him, prompting Dewey to switch his sabres for his twin Quad Blasters. Dewey fired multiple blasts at Floods coming at him. He flipped around and open fire right in their faces. With a smirk on his face, he shot down two Floods running at him on either side without looking. A Turtletoad spews poisonous liquid at Dewey but with some impressive agility he dodges and charges the Unversed switching to his Laser Sabres again before flipping in the air to stab the Turtletoads head. He leaps off and stylishly lands just as it disappears into darkness.

"And that's how you Dewey it!" Dewey grinned.

Louie and Lena stood back-to-back with their respective weapons out. They sliced stabbed at the Unversed as fast as they could. One Flood tried to get the jump on Lena, but Louie slashed it's face. Lena then jumped and upper-sliced another Flood about to jump on the youngest male triplet.

"Nice moves, Lou!" Lena praised.

"I can say the same for you!" said Lena.

Louie stabbed a Buckle Bruiser in the neck. Lena used some magic blasts to keep a couple more Buckle Bruisers at bay before she thrashed them several times with her Diamond Dagger. Lena then used a hex blast against their necks, killing them.

Webby took on several Floods, slaying them at all angles with her Persian Blade. She then jumped into the air, doing flips to avoid them jumping at her before she landed and spun in a circle with her blade out, killing them.

Violet slammed her mace against several Red Hot Chilis, gashing them right in their heads. The hummingbird-turned-monster then focused, summoned energy, and then blasted three of them in a row with a surge of light.

April, May, and June worked together against the last Turtletoad. April and May worked together to slash at the legs with their Sun Glaive and Sunfire Sword to make it stumble as June jumped high and used her Viper Khopesh to slash it across its head, back, and rear. She then jumped off as her older sisters tossed their blades at its head, killing it. The girls caught their weapons.

"These little bitches won't go away!" groaned Lena, stabbing a Flood in the neck and kicked it away.

"I have an idea!" Minnie said. She turned to Donald. "Wanna give them the Royal Thunder?"

"Good idea!" grinned Donald.

Donald and Minnie flipped and floated back to back, unleashing Plasma and Pearlga spell barrages while spinning, The spell destroys the wave of incoming Floods trying to attack them. And after 30 seconds, they turned to raise their Keyblades (and staff) and banged them together.

"LIGHT!" they shouted.

Together, the Mage of Thunder and the Queen of Disney Town formed a large column of light that sent out bursts of electricity eliminating a multitude of Floods around them.

"THAT WAS AWESOME!" exclaimed Dewey.

(Captain Hook Boss Fight from Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep ends)

Everyone then noticed that Louie wasn't around. They saw he wass surrounded by a 15 Unversed and run to help him but Lena stops them by holdign up her hand/paw(?).

"Lena, what are you doing?" asked Ortensia, confused.

"I think it's safe to say, Louie's got this." Lena smirked.

"Oh dear, it's 15 against 1. This hardly seems fair…" Louie said with faux-worry before smirking. "for you guys."

Louie slipped on a pair of green goggles on his head much to everyone's confusion.

"Uh... what's with the goggles?" asked Lea, raising a curious eyebrow.

"I think we're about to find out." said Naminé.

Louie held up his Khopesh and whistled, causing the goggles to glow green. To everyone's astonishment, Golden Khopesh glowed with a green aura surrounding it and it floated in response to his whistle just like Yondu's Yaka Arrow.

"What the what?!" exclaimed Myde.

"The hell?!" exclaimed Isa.

"It's floating!" exclaimed Daisy.

The Unversed all approached Louie, intent on killing him only for him to whistle again and point his Khopesh at one. With his whistle he sent it piercing into a Ringer and that had it zipping around in a circle, leaving behind a trail of green light as it pierces every single Unversed, large, small, on the air or on the ground. Louie casually catches his Khopesh by the handle when it flies back at him just as all the Unversed surrounding him drop dead and die.

Everyone stared in shock, mouths comically wide open, except for the Duckburg Six and Duck Girls. Sora, Donald, Goofy, Roxas, Xion, and Ven were instantly reminded of Yondu using the arrow, and the brief momnets Kraglin used it too.

"He just wiped out every single last Unversed in here in less than 10 seconds." Ven blinked.

Louie walks up to them cockily grinning.

"Well done Louie!" praised Sora.

"That was amazing!" exclaimed Goofy.

"Nice job kid!" said Lea, impressed.

"Way to finish the battle!" said Kairi,

"Well, let's just say I made a little visit to Gyro and had him invent these goggles for me." Louie replied.

Then, Lou came to me to cast some magic on his goggle and khopesh to make them work like that Yondu guy's arrow and that fin of his." said Lena.

"I was impressed of how Yondu controlled his arrow before he died and how Kraglin used it. It inspired me to want to do the same thing." Louie added.

"Wow, that is pretty cool." said Roxas, impressed.

"Good choice Louie." smiled Aqua.

"That's our baby brother!" grinned Dewey.

Everyone dismissed their weapons.

"Seriously though... that was intense…" panted Louie.

"Man, is it like this all the time for you guys?" asked June.

"Some battles are harder than others." Naminé replied as Donald, Aqua, and Kairi cured everyone.

"Still, THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN!" cheered Webby.

"Yeah! We kicked those monsters to the curb!" said Dewey.

"And we saved all the monsters here!" added Huey.

"You kids did a good job." Donald said proudly.

"Yeah, thanks for the help fellers." smiled Goofy.

"Why thank you." smiled Violet.

"Aw it was nothing." May said bashfully.

The monster assistants appeared from behind their desks.

"Is… is it over?" asked Fungus.

"Don't worry, the creatures have been dealt with." said Mickey.

"That was spectacular!" Mike said with a grin. "You just saved the Scare Floor!"

"Aw shucks it was nothin'!" Goofy said modestly.

"Really though, if anything got destroyed, we'd all be out of our jobs." said Charlie.

"Is there anything we can do to thank you?" asked Mike.

"Maybe some cash would do." Louie smirked, only to get elbowed by Huey.

"No thanks necessary." said Sora. "It's what we do."

At that moment, a Jumbo-tron screen displaying the MI logo switched over to a map. The eastern portion of the United States is illuminated as a red monster with dark red and grey stripes, seven fingers on each hand, and a black headset walked up.

"Who's that?" asked Riku.

"Oh that's Jerry, the floor manager." said Mike. "That means it's time to get to work."

"Aw man, we just fought a bunch of monsters and now we gotta work?!" Louie groaned.

"Well we did say we'd watch how things work." muttered Lena. "Unfortunately."

"Come on, it'll be fun… sort of." said Sora.

"Okay, people, Eastern Seaboard coming online. We got scarers coming out!" Jerry called.

The assistants ran to their stations and stood at attention as the windows closed. Sora and Co. stood at Mike's desk.

The scarers strode onto the Scare Floor in slow motion. These are the best of the best; the top Scarers, ready for action.

Smitty and Needleman, two geeky teenage janitors stood in awe on the sidelines.

"Oh, they're so awesome!" Needleman said in awe.

The world-travelers were in awe as well.

"Those two are right, they do look awesome." said April.

"Now that's what I call an entrance." Lea whistled.

"We should enter like that someday." said Ven.

"It would be intimidating to our enemies." Aqua admitted.

The Scarers stopped opposite their doors. Their assistants approached them and made last minute preparations.

Sulley cracked his knuckles and shook to keep it loose.

Pete "Claws" Ward flipped out his retractable claws like switchables.

Bob "Dentures" Peterson was handed a set of false teeth. He slid the chompers into place and snarled.

Randall practiced camouflaging by blending into various background patterns: wood, brick, wallpaper. Fungus alternated the patterns.

Augustus "Spike" Jones put a tentacle in his mouth and blew. Spikes popped out of his skin.

Ricky Plesuski opened his mouth to reveal a giant set of spiked teeth. His assistant brushed them.

Ted Pauley grabbed a handful of eyeballs from his assistant and squished them into his face. One of the eyeballs fell off Ted's face, and his assistant put it back on.

"Wow, these guys sure look professional." said Sora.

"I know I don't like the idea of scaring kids for electricity, but this does seem interesting." said Kairi.

"So many monsters in all shapes and sizes." mused Riku,

The Jumbo-tron now showed everyone's scare totals. Sulley was at the top, with Randall in second place.

Sulley faced Randall with hand outstretched. "Hey, may the best monster win." he said with a kind smile.

"Sulley's in first place, huh?" mused Oswald. "Impressive."

"And that guy next to him must be Randall." said Donald, gesturing to the monster whose picture was under Sulley's on the screen.

The team smiled at the good sportsmanship.

"I plan to." Randall bitterly replied, turning away.

The team frowned at his bad sportsmanship. Sora, Riku, Kairi, Terra, Aqua, and even Louie, Lena, and June sensed something not right with Randall.

"We are on in seven, six," began Jerry, counting down with his fingers.

Mike hits a button on his keypad. The red light above his door lit up. The other assistants did the same.

"...five, four, three, two…" Jerry silently indicated "one" with his hand.

A sign light above the Scare Floor changed from "STANDBY" to "SCARE".

A horn sounded as Jerry gave a thumbs up, and each scarer rushed up to their door.

Sulley disappeared through the door.

"You're the boss, you're the boss, you're the big hairy boss." Mike told him.

Randall and the other monsters followed suit.

Sora and Co. watched with wonder.

"Wow, those doors look really magical," said Minnie.

"Man, technology these days is amazing," said Huey.

Screams were heard from Sulley's inside door. Sulley exited and checked his new scare totals on the jumbo-tron.

"Oh, I'm feeling good today, Mikey!" he said.

His score went from 99, 479 to 99, 513.

"Good job Sulley!" said Mickey.

"Whoa! Attaboy. Attaboy. Another door comin' right up." Mike said as he pressed a button on the pad, the door getting released from its stration.

"Anything we can do to help?" asked Riku.

"Grab more paperwork from Roz and study the kids' fears," said Mike as he slid another door key. "That way Sulley knows how to scare the kids."

"I know we shouldn't be doing this but this is how this world works I guess." sighed Aqua.

"We'll run the numbers!" Huey, April, and Violet said together.

"And some of us can help with the heavy lifting," said Terra.

"That's good!" said Sulley. "Grab another canister and get to it!"

Nodding, Sora and his team split up, some staying at the desk, some grabbing more paperwork, and a few dealing with canisters. Some also kept an eye out for any more creatures of darkness.

During this time, another scream came from another door. Randall emerged to watch his tally go up,. Unfortunately for him it only went from 99, 351 to 99, 372.

Randall growled as Fungus scratched his head.

"Hmm, you're still behind, Randall." Fungus mused. "You know, maybe I should realign the scream intake valve...?"

"Just get me another door!" Randall snapped.

"Aah! A door! Yes! Door!" Fungus cried as he ran off.

"Sheesh, what's his deal?" asked Sora, looking through some files.

"Oh Randall's been jealous of us since our time at Monsters University." said Sulley. "And he wants to beat the all time Scare Record."

"Which will be in his dreams since Sulley is closer than ever to it" said Mike as he put the canister in.

"Jealousy. Classic." mused Lea. "OK Sulley, this kid is scared of thunder it looks like." he said, looking over a file.

"Thanks!" said Sulley as he went into the next door.

"I've seen lots of magic before and I've never seen anything like this." said Lena.

"I sorta have." said Sora. "Donald, Goofy, remember a few years back when I first came to your world?"

"Yeah! The cornerstone was corrupted by Maleficent!" said Goofy.

"And we had to fix it by going back to the old days to stop Pete!" added Donald.

"Well, remember the door to the Timeless River? That's kinda like this, but only in the past and not some kids' closet."

Donald, Goofy, Minnie, and even Mickey and Daisy were surprised by that and realized that Sora was right.

They heard a child scream and the canister fill. Roxas ran over, unhooked it, and took it away as Sulley came back out.

"I got the next file." said Webby, taking out a key card, swiping it. "This girl here appears to be afraid of snakes."

"Ah, so that would mean roaring would make her cry… or something along those lines." said Louie.

"Good to know," said Sulley.

The door landed as Aqua put the next canister in place. Webby pressed the button and Sulley went in.

Throughout the course of the day, monsters came in and out of closet doors scaring kids and coming back out to the Scare Floor. Doors came in and out as well.

Huey, Violet, and April sat at Mike's desk looking over the files and types of scaring while Sora, Mike, and the others rotated getting paperwork from the desk and canisters, retrieving them from the holster and delivering them to the carts.

"This boy has a fear of rumbling noises!" said Naminé.

"These twin girls don't like the sound of thunder and flashes of lighting!" said Max.

"This girl is older and doesn't like loud noises. Really stick it to her here." said June.

"Ugh, these canisters are heavier than they look." said Louie as he and Dewey carried one onto a cart.

"At least we're being active." said Terra as he brought a new canister over to the door station.

Mr. Waternoose walked up besides Jerry, who was writing on a clipboard.

"Well, Jerry, what's the damage so far?" Waternoose asked, expecting the worse.

"We may actually make our quota today, sir." Jerry replied.

"Hmm. First time in a month." Waternoose muttered.

"Ya hear that? This place is almost at its quota." Huey said.

"Good for them, boring for us." said Myde, setting a canister on another cart.

"On the plus side, with the whole scream shortage thing, things seem to be going well." Webby commented.

At that moment, at Claws' station, the scream gurgled as it registered empty.

Rock music pounded as the door opened and Claws scrambled out of the room, sobbing pathetically.

"Ok…?" Sora said in confusion.

"Or I spoke too soon." Webby muttered.

"What happened?" Claws' assistant asked.

"The kid almost touched me! She got this close to me!" Claws sobbed.

"She wasn't scared of you?! She was only six!" Claws' assistant said in disbelief, only for Claws rto shake him.

"I could've been dead! I could've DIED!" he screamed.

Claws' assistant slapped him across the face." Keep it together, man!" he said before whistling. "Hey, we got a dead door over here!"

Needleman and Smitty came running, wheeling a portable door shredder.

"We're coming! Look out!"/"Out of the way! Excuse us." they called. "Coming through."

Needleman tapes a yellow "X" across the door.

"What the hell is going on?" Terra asked.

"The kid almost touched that guy with the claws apparently." said Lea.

"Was she sick or something?" asked April.

"Maybe. But apparently it's enough to destroy the door." said Ortensia as Needleman and Smitty got the door out of it's frame.

"We've lost fifty-eight doors this week, sir." Jerry said to Waternoose.

"Oh, kids these days." Waternoose muttered. "They just don't get scared like they used to."

"Well kids are getting older." said Sora.

"But even then we still see some stuff that scares the hell out of us." said Xion.

"Yeah, your adventures across the world and our adventures with Uncle Scrooge." said Dewey.

"Do you think there were times that any of those monsters ever came through our closets?" asked Myde.

"Not for us… I think," said Max. "I mean, those of us from Disney Town and Wasteland aren't human… technically."

"If we were, it would've been a very, very long time ago. Our memories from then might be fuzzy." said Aqua.

"My earliest memory is when Riku and I met Terra and Aqua, and eventually letting Ven's heart stay in my heart." said Sora.

"And you can thank Naminé for that." Kairi added as Naminé smiled.

Needleman and Smitty loaded the defunct door into the shredder.

"Let 'er rip!" said Needleman.

The door shredded with a buzz, spewing out sawdust and leaving only two door knobs.

"OK, shreddings' over. Back to work." said Mickey.

Randall emerged from another door.

"Uh, sir?" Fungus asked nervously.

"What?!" Randall demanded.

"L-look!" Fungus nervously said, hiding behind his clipboard and pitning.

Randall looked at the tally board. Randal's score changed from 99,741 to 99, 857 and replaced Sulley's name in first place since HIS score was 99,803.

"Attention. We have a new scare leader, Randall Boggs." Celia said over the P.A. system.

Randall smirked in triumph as monsters assistants Charlie, Frank, and Wexler surrounded him and fungus.

"Nice job!" "You took the lead!" "You did it!" "Look at those numbers!" they praised.

Multiple screams drew the attention of the admirers.

In seconds, Sora, Mike, and Co. deftly filled can after can with scream.

Sulley emerged from the door and cracked his knuckles.

"Slumber party." he told them smugly as he and Mike slapped hands. Sora and Co. gave their congratulations as they picked up one canister each and brought it over to Terra and Isa who had wheeled two carts over.

The tally board updated; Sulley's score going to 100, 021, putting him back in first place.

"Never mind." Celia said over P.A. system.

Charlie, Waxford and Frank pushed past Randall as they rushed to Sulley.)

"Hey, watch it!" said Randall, being jolted.

"That was awesome!" "How did you do that?" "You're going to the hall of fame for sure!"

Sulley gave his fans a high five as Mr. Waternoose approached.

"Well, James, that was an impressive display." Waternoose commented.

"Oh, just doing my job, Mr. Waternoose. Of course, I did learn from the best." Sulley grinned as they both chuckled.

"And you lot just might fit in here." Waternoose said to the group of 29. "Start from the bottom, work your way up. And you nine young ones keep learning you're sure to succeed in this business as well."

"Uh… thank you Mr. Waternoose." Sora said politely.

"Gosh, we're just happy we can help." said Mickey.

"I do want to run a business someday." said Louie.

"So many papers to organize." Huey said with a soft smile. "I felt at home."

"Nerd!" Lena coughed.

Huey playfully punched her in the arm. Lena just chuckled as the others did in amusement.

Randall watched on angrily as Fungus stood next to him.

"If I don't see a new door in my station in five seconds, I will personally put you THROUGH THE SHREDDER!" Randall snapped.

"Aaaaah!" yelped Fungus as he ran off.

Sora, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Lena, and Violet watched that happen.

"Sheesh, who beefed in his borscht?" Lena huffed.

"How do you know what borscht is?" asked Dewey.

Lena just pointed her thumb at Violet, who shrugged.

"Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." said Sora.

"He's so competitive… and not in a good way," Kairi said with a frown.

"Yeah, it's only a score." said Goofy, scratching his head.

"Call me crazy, but that guy gives me the creeps." said Louie. "I can see it in his squinting eyes and weird smile."

"June and I can see it too." said Lena. "That and his temper and literally slithering personality, the guy is giving off bad vibes."

"Do you think Randall's in league with Xehanort and Maleficent?" asked Sora.

"He could be." said Riku. "And there's also the possibility of Vanitas being here. Though I can't smell his dark scent like I used to with Ansem."

"We'll just keep an eye on him and any other shifty characters." said Mickey.

"In the meantime, I suggest we get back to work. Gotta give off a good impression to the other monsters here." said Huey.

Everyone agreed as they walked back to the station.

Charlie, the assistant at the station on the other side of Randall and Fungus', turned to Mike. "Hey, Wazowski, nice job. Those numbers are pretty sweet." he said.

After sending the door with the slumber party away, Mike turned to face Charlie. Are they? "You know, I hadn't even noticed." Mike said with false modesty. "And, uh, how's Georgie doing?"

"He's doing great! I love working with that big guy." Charlie beamed Charlie's door opened, and a goofy-looking furry monster with orange and yellow stripes emerged.

"Keep the doors comin', Charlie. I'm on a roll today." said George, walking backwards.

"George and I are like brothers." Charlie said. He then gasped when he saw a child's sock on George's back. "23-19! WE HAVE A 23-19!" he screamed.

Jerry gasped as he ran towards the wall under the screen. He lifted up a cover and hit red emergency button with a human child on it.

A siren blared as the Jumbo-tron read "WARNING: CONTAMINATION ALERT" against a red background. The windows all opened as well.

Everyone jumped in alarm.

"What's goin on?!" screamed Myde.

"I didn't steal anything!" Louie shouted.

"What's with the red alert?!" exclaimed Lea.

"Red alert! Red alert! Red alert! Red alert! Red alert!" a computer voice over P.A. said.

George looked around, confused. A camera then zoomed in on George. On the Jumbo-tron behind him was the security cam view of George's back, showing the sock.

"George Sanderson, please remain motionless. Prepare for decontamination." the computer voice said.

George realized he caused the alarms, and he tries frantically to remove the sock. "Get it off! Get it off!" he shouted.

"Duck and cover, people!" shouted Jerry.

Sora and Co. looked on in worry as some of them shield themselves for what was to come.

Suddenly, yellow-suited figures rappelled through the windows from the ceiling overhead.

"Oh, not the CDA." Waternoose groaned.

"CDA?" asked Sora, confused.

"What are they?" asked Kairi.

"A touch from a human child can kill you." said Sulley, taking the worldly-travelers aback. "So the Child Detection Agency, or CDA, handles situations like this."

"A touch from a human child can kill you?" Lena repeated in disbelief.

"This world keep getting weirder and weirder." said Isa.

"Weirder than Wonderland." quipped Roxas.

"So wouldn't it be a good thing if they were here?" asked Aqua, noticing Waternoose looking unhappy.

"Normally yes, but due to the scream shortage, the company is on thin ice and can't afford too many accidents." Sulley replied.

"Makes sense, companies getting involved in too many accidents can end up shutting down." said Donald.

"Good thing Tony prevented that for Stark Industries when he stopped it from being a weapons company." said Mickey.

"And boy was Stane pissed." said Terra.

Outside of Monsters, Inc., helicopters hovered over the factory as large black trucks squealed into the parking lot. On the sides of the trucks was printed: CDA - CHILD DETECTION AGENCY. More CDA agents bursted out of the truck and ran toward the factory. Roz closed her desk window as CDA agents run by.

"Move, move, move! Coming through, please. Stand aside." they said. "Please clear the contaminated area." The Scare Floor was now filled with CDA agents. One pointed a child detector at Needleman and Smitty, who screamed.

"All this over a sock. A sock!" exclaimed Louie.

"Do they really need this much manpower?" Isa asked in disbelief.

"I guess they don't like risking it or having 'children germs' spread or something." Xion shrugged, perplexed.

"Just sat out fo their way and we'll be fine… hopefully." said Mike.

"This is a 23-19 in progress." "Keep the area clear." "Coming through. Watch yourself."

CDA agents ran up to George and tackled him to the ground. Using tongs, they gently removed the sock from his back.

"Stand back. Careful." the agent with the tongs said.

They placed the sock on the floor. A metal dome was bolted over the sock. A CDA agent pressed a button.

Mr. Waternoose, the workers, and the world travelers quickly covered their eyes.

A blinding flash emerged from under the metal device.

Everyone removed their arms and stopped ducking.

Agents unbolted the dome and vacuumed up the charred remains of the sock. "All clear. Situation is niner-niner-zero. Ready for decon." an agent said.

"That was… strangely intense." said Huey.

"That's putting it lightly red." said Lena.

"Hey, thanks, guys, that was a close one." George said thankfully to the agents.

"Okay." one said to the rest of the agents.

A circular shower curtain few up around George. A yellow hand reached in with a huge electric razor. George's fur flew up over the curtain and he screamed.

Sora and Co. watched with confusion and bewilderment.

"Okay…?" Sora said.

A small shower head popped up, spraying disinfectant, making George shriek. The curtain flew open. George was entirely shaved, wearing an Elizabethan dog collar. A band-aid covers the area "contaminated" by the sock. An agent ripped the band-aid off as George screamed in pain.

Sora and Co. winced.

"Ouch!" muttered Dewey.

"Even I felt that." said Myde.

"Talk about overboard." said Oswald.

May saw a sign on the wall reading "DAYS SINCE LAST ACCIDENT" flip from 47 to 0.

"Oof, over a month of no accidents and then back to square one." she winced.

"Okay, people, take a break! We gotta shut down for a half-hour and reset the system." Jerry called out.

The group watched as CDA agents filed off the scare floor.

"An entire scare floor out of commission. What else could go wrong?" Waternoose grunted as he left for the coffee machine.

Sulley, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Lea, Huey, Violet, and April followed him.

Waternoose poured himself a cup of the thick gooey liquid. "Oh, what a day." he sighed. "We're just going through a rough time, sir. Everyone knows you gonna get us through it." Sulley assured him.

"Yeah so one incident happened. You guys can get through it." Lea nodded.

"Tell that to the board of directors." Waternoose huffed, drinking the liquid.

"Oof they the stingy type?" asked April.

"Something amongst those lines." Waternoose nodded. "How would you know?"

"My uncle has his own board of directors that were bigger tightwads than him." Donald said.

"And that's why he keeps them on even though they try to cut down costs daily no matter how many times we point it out to him." said Violet.

"Well we must do what we can in order to keep our business going, people with jobs, and power to the city." Waternoose said as he faced Sulley. "James, this company has been in my family for three generations. I would do anything to keep it from going under." he said as he walked off a bit.

"So would I, sir." said Sulley.

Waternoose was suddenly struck with an idea. "Say, I could use your help with something." he said.

"Anything, sir." Sulley said.

"If you're talking about those creatures that attacked earlier, we got it all under control." said Sora.

"Oh no not that, but thank you." Waternoose said. "You see, we hired some new scare recruits, and frankly they're... They're... Uh…" "Inexperienced?" Sulley asked.

"Slacking?" asked Sora.

"Underachieved?" asked Huey.

"Lacking in certain areas?" asked Goofy.

"No, they stink." Waternoose finally replied. "Uh-huh." Sulley nodded.

"Gawrsh, sorry to hear that." said Goofy.

"The 29 of you have potential." Waternoose told the travelers. "While 8 to 9 of you will have to wait a little while longer, you could learn a little bit more for what I have in mind." He faced Sulley again. "I thought maybe you might come by tomorrow and give them a demonstration, show them what it takes to be a top scarer. Huh?"

Sulley grinned. "I'll start out with the old Waternoose Jump-and-Growl." he said, giving a surprising yell that startled everyone, even Waternoose who dropped his coffee cup.

"Ha-ha! Oh, yes. Now, that's my boy." Waternoose said, amused. He pats Sulley on the shoulder as they laugh.

Sora, Donald, Goofy, Lea, Huey, Violet, and April chuckled in amusement.

Unknown to all of them, a figure in an Organization XIII cloak watched from down the hall behind a canister cart. It was Vanitas.

"Oh Sora. You, you're pathetic friends, and those meddling kids don't know what you just got ourselves into." he chuckled.

He went down the hall, where at the end several tools were hanging on the wall. He opened a corridor of darkness and went through it.

To be continued…

We have finally started Monstropolis! And the nine kids seem to be fitting right in for the mission! But what is Vanitas up to?

Up next, things get chaotic when an unexpected visitor makes an appearance.

Rate, review, and I'll see you all soon!

With James Coburn long gone, Mr. Waternoose is now voiced by Kelsey Grammar (Cheers, Frasier, The Simpsons, Toy Story 2, Anastasia). Piece of trivia for you: In Monsters University, the prequel to Monsters Inc, Waternoose was supposed to have a cameo appearance and was supposed to be voiced by Grammar, but it was cut. Claws, Needlemmn, Smitty, and Jerry, who's original VA's also passed, are archive audio.
