And now we infiltrate Monsters Inc where we see what Randall is up to.
Enjoy!
The next morning, everyone was making their way to the factory. Sulley was holding the girl in his hands.
But thanks to sewing work done by Kairi, Minnie, Daisy, and Ortensia, she was disguised in a monster costume. It was made out of the fabric from Sulley's chair, a mop top for hair, and the two lamps for eyes.
"I can't believe we are waltzing right up to the factory!" Mike exclaimed, pulling down the hood of the costume over the girls' face. "Guys, a mop, a couple of lights, and some chair fabric are not gonna fool anyone. Just think about a few names, will you? Loch Ness, Big Foot, The Abominable Snowman. They all got one thing in common, pal: banishment! We could be next!"
"Don't panic. We can do this." said Sulley.
"I see where Mike is coming from though, do you really think everyone's gonna fall for it?" asked Louie.
"She's completely unrecognizable Louie." said Ortensia. "Courtesy of our craftsmanship."
"We've really come a long way in sewing." said Minnie.
"No one will suspect a thing." said Sora.
"But what happens when they ask why we have a young 'monster' with us?" asked Isa.
"We could just say it's take your kids to work day." said Webby.
"But we're kids." June pointed out.
"About half of us are." said Sora. "but don't worry guys, I'm sure everything will work out."
Suddenly, Heartless spawned in front of the factory. There were Novashadows, Snapper Dogs, Armor Knights, Mechanitaurs, Helmed Bodies, and Spear Lizards were there.
"Gah! What are they?!" screamed Mike.
"Heartless!" shouted Sora, summoning Hidden Dragon.
"There's a lot more than the Unversed from yesterday!" said Riku, summoning Knockout Punch.
"You guys wanna help us take these thugs down?" asked Ven, summoning Pixie Petal.
"You bet." said Sulley, setting the girl down, cracking his knuckles. He helped the girl to the side of the entrance. "Stay here." he said softly as she nodded.
"No one comes here and wrecks our place of business!" said Mike as he and Sulley got into fighting positions.

Sora fired a Crawling Fire spell against several Snapper Dogs as he charged at them. The spell had launched several of them into the air as he slashed them to pieces with his Keyblade. Roxas followed up the attack as he charged at some Armor Knights and slashed them across their chests and then slammed his Keyblade against their heads before he finished the group off with a Tornado spell. Naminé jumped over some Spear Lizards and slashed them across their arms and backs. She then used Bind to hold them in place before she casted a barrage of Blizzard spells to finish them off. Goofy performed his Goofy-Tornado technique to bash away some Helmed Bodies. But they came running back, so the King's Captain raised his Keyblade and casted Thunder Shot to kill them. Donald fired lighting spells from his staff at some more Snapper Dogs, destroying them. Those that were only kept at bay were destroyed by the mage's Keyblade when he fired a Tornado Tracer spell. Riku fended off against some Mechanitaurs, slashing them multiple times while ducking and jumping from their attacks. The silverhead was then surrounded by four of them, so he promptly leapt up into the air and casted Deep Freeze against the Mechanitaurs killing them. Kairi tried to dodge the attacks coming from a couple of Novashadows as they almost stabbed her innards out. The redhead casted a Mine Shield spell to hold them in place and then casted Blizzara to finish them off. Terra attacked some Helmed Bodies trying to make their way towards the town, firing orbs of light at them to hold them down. Once they were weakened, the oldest brunette finished them off with a Dark Firaga spell. Lea casted fire spells against a dozen Spear Lizards that tried to jump at him. The fiery redhead got slashed several times, but he was able to shove them all away, even through one away by the head, and then destroyed them with an Exo Spark spell. Ven swayed his Keyblade around, slashing and gashing multiple Armor Knights. Several of them slashed his arms, but Ven was able to hold his own and casted Blizzaga Pursuit to finish them.
Max skated around slashing any Heartless near him across their backs, fronts, necks, and heads. He then trick-skated into the air and brought down an Ice Barrage spell down onto them. Aqua slashed and bashed against several Novashadows while lunging away from their attacks before she used the D-Link Magnet trick to bring the prizes from them, powering up her Keyblade and weakening the Heartless, and then finished them off with a Mega Flare attack. Daisy slashed more Snapper Dogs that tried to jump at her and bite her. She was able to stop four of them mid-air with a Zero Graviza spell. The Queen's Lady-in-Waiting then jumped up and slashed the Heartless away, killing them. Xion fired a series of light orbs at Spear Lizards before 10 surrounded her. Xion slammed her Keyblade to the ground, unleashing a Quake spell that killed the Heartless. Isa charged at several Mechanitaurs, striking them as fast as he could. The long-haired bluehead jumped up to bring down a Meteor spell to crush the Heartless. Myde was cornered by multiple Armor Knights, so he summoned his sitar to bash them away. As they got up and tried to attack the mullet-haired human-turned-monster again, Myde used his Keyblade to cast Glacier to freeze them in place, and then casted Triple Plasma to destroy them. Mickey, Minnie, Oswald, and Ortensia were surrounded by Novashadows coming at them. The four royals nodded at each other as Mickey and Oswald held their Keyblades up as they casted Double Aeroga spell that launched the tall Heartless into the air. Minnie and Ortensia held their Keyblades up and casted Bind (Minnie) and Poison (Ortenisa) to weaken them. The kings and queens then jumped up and slashed and gashed the Novashadows until they were no more.
Huey slashed and spin-slashed several Lizard Spears jumping at him. One tried to jump at him from behind, but the red-clad triplet slammed the bottom of the handle into it's face to knock it back and then stabbed it through the chest. Dewey backed his brother up by blasting away some Armor Knights that tried to come at them. Seeing that they weren't slowing down, the blue-clad triplet switched to his laser sabres and jumped and flipped around to slash them all around. Louie whistled to send his khopesh around, going right through Snapper Dogs. But when three of them tried to attack him from behind, the green-clad triplet caught his knocked and slashed them across their mouths multiple times, damaging their squiggly tongues and sharp teeth before he finished them off. April, May, and June charged at some Helmed Bodies. April slashed them across their chests and emblems with her Sun Glaive, followed up by May spin-slashing them with her Starfire Sword. June helped finish them off as jumped up and slashed the tubby Heartless across their faces with her khopesh. Webby front flipped and blackflipped away from several Mechanitaurs' attacks while making sure to slash them across their chests, arms, and backs every chance she got. While they were discombobulated from it, Webby charged forward with her Persian Blade sticking out and taking them all down in one swift and fast slash, destroying them instantly. Lena used her magic to make a shield that blocked some Novashadows trying to attack her. The magic duck-turned-monster enchanted her Diamond Dagger to grow longer so she could swing the blade around the tall Heartless, wounding them, and then sending hexes through their faces to kill them. Violet bashed her mace against some more Snapper Dogs, sending them flying like golf balls. When five tried to attack her, jaws open and their sharp teeth barred, the hummingbird-turned-monster summoned energy to blast them into smithereens straight from her magic mace. Sulley punched away multiple Helmed Bodies and even slashed them well across their chests. The tallest monster even tossed several of them into each other. Mike did his best punching away multiple Armor Knights, even rolling himself into them as if they were bowling pins. Everytime he got up, his one eye was spinning from the dizziness.
"How come no one inside has heard anything out here/" Mike called, ducking from a Snapper Dog flying at him.
"Maybe they're too busy inside!" Huey suggested, slashing away said Snapper Dog.
"I think the amount of Heartless is going down even more!" called Mickey, destroying a Mechanituar.
"Then let's finish it!" called Sora. "Donald! Goofy! Trinity move!"
Donald and Goofy nodded as they rushed over to help Sora.
"Let's Go!" shouted Sora.
Sora, Donald and Goofy delivered a series of rapid and powerful mid-air slashes on the Heartless before the three of them gathered energy and blasted forward to slice them apart.
"Time for some magic!" shouted Donald.
Donald took the lead and the trio threw Hidden Dragon, Unbound, Nirvana, Royal Radiance and Majestic Mushroom in the air before summoning circling orbs of energy as their weapons came together spinning in front of them. With a yell, they turned those orbs into clusters of fireworks that violently blasted the Heartless.
"Come on!" shouted Goofy.
Now Goofy took point and together, they had their Keyblades, Staff and Shield spin right in front of them faster than a tornado, unleashing cyclones of pure red, blue and green energy that blow away more Heartless.
"Give me strength!" shouted Sora.
Sora flipped down from the air and onto the ground where Donald and Goofy gathered around him with their Keyblades ready and staff and shield by their side. As one, they bought Hidden Dragon, Unbound and Royal Radiance together in the air.
"LIGHT!" the trio yelled.
When their weapons made contact, a ball of light was created surrounded by storms of red, blue and green energy that sucked in and annihilated every heartless in their vicinity.
Sulley, Mike, and the kids were amazed by Sora, Donald and Goofy's Trinity move.
"Whoa! That was so cool!" gasped Dewey.
"Wicked…" Huey breathed.
"Man, why can't we do a combo move like that!?" Loui complained, dodging an Armor Heartless Lea quickly destroyed with a Firara spell.
Sora quickly pondered to himself. "Maybe, you guys can! You've just gotta work together and concentrate with all your heart." he told them.
"Okay, that just sounds corny." Louie muttered.
"It may sound corny but it'll work!" said Riku, fending off a Mechanituar. "Concentrate with your heart and your combo moves will come to you!"
"Go for it you three! You're the Duck Boys!" encouraged Ven.
"You can do it! Trust us! Just get into the zones!" shouted Lea.
"Believe in yourselves boys! You're my nephews and the nephews of Scrooge McDuck! You can do anything!" Donald said with a smirk.
Huey, Dewey, and Louie looked at each other and nodded as they charged at a group of Armor Knights.
"ATTACK!" Huey yelled.
"Let's Dewey this!" Dewey yelled.
Following Dewey's lead, the Duck Boys delivered a series of rapid and powerful mid-air slashes that ripped the Heartless to pieces before they gathered energy and blast forward to cut them away.
"Follow my lead!" shouted Huey.
Huey took the lead and the 3 of them threw their blades and guandao in the air before summoning circling orbs of energy as their weapons came together spinning in front of them. With a yell they turn those orbs into clusters of fireworks that blow the Amro Knights in the air.
"Let the Evil Triplet take over!" Louie smirked.
Now Louie took point and together the Duck Boys had their swords and guandao spin right in front of them faster than a tornado, unleashing cyclones of pure blue, red and green energy that send out millions of energy orbs, blowing the Heartless away.
"Come on boys!" Dewey encouraged.
Dewey flipped down from the air and onto the ground where Huey and Louie gathered around him with their weapons ready. As one, they brought Laser Sabre, Spirit Guandao and Golden Khopesh in the air.
"LIGHT!" they yelled.
When their weapons made contact, a ball of light was created surrounded by storms of blue, red and green energy that sucked in the Armor Knights, damaging them even further before exploding and destroying them.
"WOW!" the girls said in awe.
"Our favorite guys are so awesome…" Webby said dreamily.
"That was amazing!" Lena exclaimed.
"Remarkable!" Violet murmured.
Suddenly, several Mechanitaurs charged forward. The Duck girls smirked at each other.
"I'll take the lead!" said Webby.
Webby took the lead, with the girls raising their weapons and surrounding themselves in auras of pink, black and purple light, thrusting their weapons in quick succession in the air. They continuously and rapidly strike the Mechanitaurs across left and right 6 times. During the 7th time they gather more energy and release it by slashing the Heartless together.
"My time to shine!" Lena smirked.
Webby, Lena and Violet held their Persian Blade, Diamond Dagger and Energy Mace to unleash multiple projectiles of pink, black and purple light. They blast the Heartless. The girls gathered energy before unleashing in the form of a larger orb of darkness that sends the Heartless flying.
"Together now!" Violet ordered.
Violet took the lead, with the girls flipping up and holding up their weapons to gather energy before dropping down and smashing them on the ground to engulf the Heartless in pillars of pink, black and purple energy, sending them flying up.
"Come on girls!" Webby encouraged.
Webby flipped down from the air and onto the ground where Lena and Violet gathered around her with their weapons ready. As one, they brought Persian Blade, Diamond Dagger and Energy Mace in the air.
"LIGHT!" they chanted.
When their weapons made contact, a ball of light was created surrounded by storms of pink, black and purple energy that sucked in the Heartless, damaging them even further before exploding and destroying them.
"Way to go you gals!" cheered Kairi.
"We've so gotta do that!" said May.
"But can we do it?" asked April.
"Don't ask me. You're the smart one!" June retorted.
"Of course you can do it!" Kairi encouraged.
"Just follow your hearts and let your strengths help you!" said Daisy.
"You will feel it come to you. Use it!" encouraged Aqua.
April, May, and June nodded, then gasped when they saw a hoard of Snapper Dogs charge for the costumed human girl. She cried out in alarm.
"THEY'RE GOING AFTER THE KID!" screamed Mike.
"NO!" several of the heroes shouted in horror.
The Duck girls jumped into the air and stood between her and the Heartless.
"Hey! Bad dogs! No attacking the girl!" scolded May.
"Stay back kid, we won't let these creeps hurt you!" June smirked.
"GO!" Shouted April.
"Showtime ladies!" May shouted.
Following May's lead, April, May, and June delivered a series of rapid and powerful mid-air slashes that damage the Snapper Dogs before the Duck Girls gathered energy and blast forward to cut them across their sides.
"Let me take charge!" said April.
April took the lead and the 3 of them threw their blades and glaive in the air before summoning circling orbs of energy as their weapons came together spinning in front of them. With a yell they turn those orbs into clusters of fireworks that blew the Snapper Dogs in the air.
"Now it's my turn to take point!" sais June.
Now June took point and together the Duck Girls had their swords and glaive spin right in front of them faster than a tornado, unleashing cyclones of pure orange, yellow and purple energy that sent out millions of energy orbs, blowing the Snapper Dogs away.
"Come on girls!" encouraged may.
May flipped down from the air and onto the ground where April and June gathered around her with their weapons ready. As one, they brought Starfire Sword, Sun Glaive and Viper Khopesh in the air.
"LIGHT!" they yelled.
When their weapons made contact, a ball of light was created surrounded by storms of orange, yellow and purple energy that sucked in the Snapper Dogs, damaging them even further before exploding and destroying them.
(Terra vs. Zack II from Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep ends)
Everyone panted as the Heartless attacking were no more. Donald and Aqua casted cures.
"Gawrsh, what a fight." commented Goofy.
"Wow, and I thought morning workouts were tough." said Sulley as he picked up the girl.
"Well done kids, you performed your first combos!" praised Donald.
"We sure did!" Dewey grinned.
"IT WAS SO COOL!" Webby grinned.
"Quite exhilarating." nodded Violet.
"And nice job protecting the girl you three." Huey praised the Duck Girls.
"Aw it was nothing." April smiled.
"So what are you kids gonna call your combo moves?" asked Lea.
The nine kids pondered before each group of three spoke to each other.
"Well since they are our own personal trinities, we decided that have that word be a part of them." said Louie.
"Ours is Duck Boys Trinity!" smirked Dewey.
"Duck Girls Trinity." smirked June.
"And ours is the Magical Trinity." finished Lena.
"That's it?" Myde asked, only to be elbowed by Ven. "I mean, uh, nice and simple. I like it!" he quickly said.
"Nice save." Ven smirked.
"With that said, why don't we get goin' and get the little girl back to her door?" suggested Mickey.
"I still feel like this plan is not gonna work." Mike muttered as they walked up to the doors.
"Oh quit worrying Mike." Sora said dismissively.
"Sora's right, everything's going to be okay." said Sulley.
They all suddenly gasped at what was there before them.
All around the main lobby of Monsters Inc. were CDA agents, combing practically everything.
"Oh…" began Huey.
"My…" continued Dewey.
"God…" finished Louie.
"Aw crap." muttered Lena.
Sulley felt the door leave his grasp as he starred in silent shock.
"I take it back." muttered Sora.
"Gawrsh, that is a WHOLE lot of agents." Goofy murmured, worried.
"Well that explains why no one heard our battle outside." Isa muttered.
"Number One wants this place dusted for prints." one agent said to one at Celia's desk.
"Careful with that." one said to another inspecting a garbage pin.
"I got a good view from here." one agent said into a walkie as they stood on the ledge.
"A little lower…" another said as he was lowered by rope on the ceiling.
Three agents were talking to Waternoose as one held up the charred remains of the gym bag Sulley brought the girl into the restaurant.
"This was recovered at the scene." he said to Waternoose.
"Ah nuts they got the bag." muttered Oswald.
"Traced back to this factory and could be traced to any monster." murmured Aqua.
"Including us!" Max said in worry.
"I think that's the least of our problems right now." said Louie.
"Whaddya mean Lou?" asked Lena.
"Boo!"
Everyone froze when they saw the girl run towards Waternoose. Sulley raised that she had hopped out of his hands.
"Oh no." muttered Daisy.
"Grab her before Waternoose gets suspicious!" Naminé said out loud.
"Gentlemen, safety is our number one concern. Now if there's anything that–" Waternoose said to the agents before he felt someone tug at his leg. "Not now, not now, I'm-" he said in annoyance before seeing the girl. "Oh, hello, little one. Where did you come from?" he asked with a smile.
"Mr. Waternoose." Sulley said as the whole group ran up to them.
"Ah, James. Is this one yours?" Henry asked as Sulley quickly swept the girl in his arms.
"Ah, actually, that's my uh, cousin's sister's, uh, daughter, sir." Sulley quickly lied.
"Yeah, it's, ah, 'Bring An Obscure Relative to Work Day'." Mike quickly added.
"Hmmm, must have missed the memo." Waternoose muttered to himself.
"Did he actually just buy that lie?" Max whispered to Myde.
"I think he did." the mullet–haired monster said, surprised.
"And where are your relatives?" Waternoose asked the rest.
"Well I do have my son." Goofy said, wrapping an arm around Max.
"And Daisy and I have our nephews, nieces, and honorary nieces." Donald added, gesturing to the kids.
"I see…" Waternoose muttered. "Well, better than nothing I suppose." he shrugged before facing Sulley. "Well, listen, James, why don't you stop by the simulator after lunch today and give us the scare demonstration we talked about, huh?"
"Oh! Sir, uh... today might be a little–" Sulley began in surprise.
"Excuse me, Mr. Waternoose…" an agent said to Waternoose, anxious to get back to what they were talking about.
"Yes, yes, I'm coming." Waternoose sighed. "All right, then, I'll see you this afternoon, James. And the rest of you, continue to learn well what Monsters Incorporated is all about for your future careers… that is, if these gentlemen hadn't shut us down."
With that, Waternoose and the agents left.
"Oh, boy." Sulley sighed.
"That was a close one." Violet sighed.
"Oh, a scare demo. Well, that is great. Why am I the last to know? We can bring your cousin's sister's daughter along. She'll be a big hit." Mike said sarcastically.
"Let's just find the kid's door and then get her back before someone gets suspicious." said Lea.
"We should split up in case any more Heartless, Unversed, or even Nobodies try to attack the factory again." advised Mickey.
"Alright, then let's split up!" said Sora.
As they walked off, a CDA agent scanned the area with a child detector. The agent pointed it towards the kid just as a random monster walked between them. The detector beeped.
"Halt! Stop him! Hold him down!" the agent shouted.
The CDA agents tackled the suspecting monster as he yelled out. The group looked back at the melee, and scurried out.
In the Men's Locker Room, Sora, Sulley, Mike, Ven, Dewey, Webby, April, and May walked in.
"Come on, the coast is clear. Okay, all we have to do is get rid of that 'thing.' So wait here, while I get its card key." said Mike.
"But she can't stay here. This is the men's room." protested Sulley.
Mike stared at Sulley as if he was insane.
"That is the weirdest thing you have ever said." he said.
"Didn't stop us from coming in here." April pointed out.
"Besides, what's the difference? Men's and women's locker rooms are barely different." added May.
"You see? They agree!" said Mike. "It's fine. It's okay. Look, it loves it here! It's dancing with joy!"
The kid was doing a small dance.
"I'll be right back with its door key." said Mike, walking away.
"I don't really like him calling the little girl an 'it'." Webby frowned.
"Maybe they're not used to dealing with humans this way." Ven pointed out.
Everyone glanced at the girl who was now wiggling while dancing.
"Haha! That's a cute little dance you've got." Sulley chuckled.
The humans and ducks-turned-monsters traded uneasy glances.
"Uh Sulley, I don't think that's meant to be a regular dance." said Dewey. "And believe me, i know regular dancing… and that's not it."
As if to prove Dewey's words, the girl lifted the hood of her costume, face uncomfortably scrunched. Her hands (flippers) grabbed at her 'lower region.'
"Ohhh." Sulley said in realization.
After getting the girl to the bathroom, Sulley, Sora, Ven, Dewey, Webby, April, and May waited outside as she sang.
"She's got a cute singing voice." mused Webby.
"She's like, what, 2? Of course she would." chuckled Sora.
"Uh, are you done in there?" Sulley asked.
Sulley started to poke the door open.
"YAHH! GWAA!" she shrieked.
"Aah! Sorry! Sorry." Sulley quickly apologized, shutting the door, embarrassed.
"Sulley Sulley Sulley." said April, shaking her head.
The singing finished before it was quiet. Then there was a flushing sound.
"Okay, you're finished now, right? Hello?" Sulley asked.
But when he opened the door… she was gone!
Sulley cried out in alarm as he checked the toilet. But there was no sign of her.
"Sulley, what happened?!" Sora asked as they all ran up to him.
Before Sulley could reply,
"Boo!"
Everyone spun around to see that the girl was standing behind them.
"Whew!" Sulley said in relief.
"How'd she get over there so fast?" asked Dewey.
"She's a fast kid." Sora chuckled.
The girl had on a big goofy grin that said "Gotcha!" She giggled, then scampered off to hide behind another stall. Everyone chuckled as they walked toward her.
"Where did she go? Did she disappear? Did she turn invisible?" Sulley asked, overselling it.
"I dunno Sulley!" said Ven.
"She's nowhere to be seen!" giggled Webby.
"I just have no idea." Sulley said.
The girl silently giggled in her stall, enjoying the game.
Sulley pauses in front of her stall, then turned and opens it.
"Gotcha!" he shouted.
"Busted!" giggled May.
But there was no one there!
"Boo!"
Everyone saw her peek out from a different stall.
"Hey, you're good!" said Sulley, genuinely impressed.
"Yeah, she's a very fast little ragamuffin." Webby giggled.
The girl laughed as she went back into the stall.
Meanwhile, Riku, Roxas, Lea, Max, Louie, Lena, and June followed Mike to the Scare Floor they were all at yesterday.
"Be relaxed, be relaxed, be relaxed." Mike muttered to himself.
"So what's the plan Mike?" asked Riku.
"You gonna try to butter up the old slug?" asked Lea.
"You just gotta turn on the charm on people to help you get what you need to know." smirked Mike.
"Is it on now?" Lena deadpanned.
Mike looked at Lena, unamused.
"Do you really think this is gonna work?" asked Max.
"Well we need to find out who got the girl's door somehow." said June.
"Just trust me,." said Mike, walking up to Roz's desk. "Follow my lead if you can."
Mike, Louie, Lena, and June walked up to the desk as Roz noticed them. Riku, Lea, and Max stayed behind.
"Roz, my tender, oozing blossom, you're looking fabulous today. Is that a new haircut?" Mike asked.
Roz stared back at him, expressionless.
"Come on, tell me. It's a new haircut, isn't it? That's got to be a new haircut." Mike kept trying.
"New makeup?" suggested Louie.
"You had a lift?" Lena chimed in.
"You had a tuck?" tried June.
"You had something? Something has been inserted in you that makes you look like…" Mike trailed off as nothing was working. Roz was unmoved.
Mike sighed, placing his hands on the desk. "Listen, we need a favor. Randall was working late last night out on the scare floor. We really need the key for the door he was using."
"Well, isn't that nice?" Roz drawled, shuffling some papers. "But guess what? You didn't turn in your paperwork last night.
"He didn't... I mean I... no p-p-paperwork?!" Mike stuttered.
"Perhaps we didn't explain why we need the key to the door he was using." Lena quickly chimed in.
"You see, we're from the mechanic department." June said, smirking.
"You mean MIFT?" Roz asked, skeptical.
"Uh…" the three ducks-turned-monsters said, not sure what to say.
"Yes, tell her yes." Mike whispered.
"Yes! we're from MIFT!" Louie quickly said, placing his hands on the desk as well. "And there was a report saying there was a hole he accidentally made, so if you'll give us the card key, we'll take care of the problem."
"Well this is going very well." Lea deadpanned to Riku and Max.
"You gotta admire their creativity." said Max.
"That's what happens when you have sharp people with you." said Riku.
"Well, that's kind of you. But I don't remember hearing about any new recruits for MIFT and you three look too young to be working here." Roz said with her eyes narrowed.
Louie, Lena, and June looked nervous as the girls gave nervous smiles, rubbing the back of their heads.
"Uh, We… they... I mean… maybe we can make a deal?" Louie weakly offered.
"This office is now closed." she said as she closed the office window on both Mike and Louie's fingers.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" they screamed as Lena and June gasped and covered their mouths in alarm while Riku, Lea, and Max cringed at the sight, clutching their own hands as if they felt the two's pain.
Disney Castle:
The screams caught the attention of Scrooge, Ludwig, and Beakley, who were playing cards in the dining room, making them look out the window in surprise.
Hayner, Pence, and Olette were walking through the halls when they heard the screams and they stopped in their tracks, confused.
Secret Forest:
Cinderella and Rapunzel were sparring with their Keyblades as Aladdin, Milo, and Kuzco watched nearby when the screams flew through the air, making them stop and look up in confusion.
Radiant Garden:
In the lab, Even was writing on a clipboard, Ienzo was on the computer, and Leon and Cloud were talking with Ansem the Wise when they all heard the screams, making them all look up, confused.
In Merlin's House, Cid was on his computer as Aerith and Yuffie talked behind him when the screams made the girls look up and Cid turn around, puzzled.
Midgar:
In his office, Rufus Shinra was writing at his desk as Tseng, Rude, and Reno were nearby when they heard the scream. They all looked out the back window, confused.
The moon:
Della was working on the Separ of Selene as an annoyed Penumbra was neary when the screams echoed around them, catching their attention.
"What was that?" asked Della.
"Sounded like the scream of our ancient enemies, older than the Moon Mites!" Penumbra said, suspicious. She grabbed her spear. "I shall investigate!"
Penumbra ran off as Della chuckled.
"That Penny, always looking out for me." she smiled, resuming her repairs.
Monstropolis:
Back in the bathroom, Sulley crawled playfully along the row of stalls, trying to find the kid. Sora, Ven, Dewey, Webby, April, and May watched in amusement.
"Ready or not, here I come! I'm getting warmer, any second now! FEE, FI, FOE-" he said, playfully intimidating a giant.
At that moment, Riku, Lea, Max, Louie, Lena, June, and Mike entered the locker room, Louie and Mike rubbing their sore fingers. They stared in disbelief.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Mike exclaimed in shock and confusion.
Everyone jumped as Sulley paused.
"Oh! Hey guys!" Sora greeted.
"When did you come in?" asked Webby.
"Just now." said Lea. "And again, what in god's name are you doing?"
"Uh, um, I'm looking for the kid." Sulley replied, getting up.
"You lost it?!" Mike exclaimed.
"No no no!" May said quickly. "We're playing Hide and Seek!"
"Yeah, she's really giving us a run for our money." said Ven.
As if on cue, the girl ran up and latched onto Sulley's arm, whimpering.
"Here she is." he said before noticing her whimpering. "Hey, what's the matter?"
"Yeah what's wrong sweetie?" April asked, worried.
"Look, I already told your buddies I haven't seen anything!" came a familiar voice.
"All right. Carry on." came a CDA agent's voice.
Everyone's eyes widened as they recognized the first voice. Quickly, they scrambled into the stalls; Sulley, Mike, and the girl in one, Sora, Ven, and Riku in another, Lea, Max, Dewey, and Louie in another, and Webby, Lena, April, May, and June in another. They all stood on top of the toilets to avoid being spotted.
Randall entered the bathroom, growling as he washed his hands. The girl saw him through the crack in the door and whimpered. Sulley awkwardly did his best to comfort her.
"What is he doing in here?" May whispered.
"It's the men's room genius." June muttered.
Mike's foot then slipped into the toilet water by accident.
That small sound caught Randall's attention. He looked around just as Fungus came in, holding a newspaper.
"Randall!" he shouted.
Randall yelped in alarm, leaning against the sink, catching his breath when he saw it was his assistant.
"Thank goodness. What are we going to do about the child?!" Fungus exclaimed.
"Will you... shhhh!" Randall angrily shushed, grabbing Fungus' mouth, shutting him up.
Randall then disappeared. Fungus walked around, confused as he looked for Randall.
Suddenly, the first stall door slammed open, making Fungus jump. Randall materialized and began punching open each stall door as Fungus frantically pointed at the newspaper.
The group shuddered in their stalls, awaiting their turn. Just as Randall was about to kick open the door, Sulley, Mike, and the little girl were behind, Fungus popped in front of him.
"THE FRONT PAGE! It's on the front page! The child! The one you were after!" he screamed, panicked.
"Will you be quiet?!" Randall angrily hissed. "Don't you think I'm aware of the situation? I was up all night trying to find it!"
"I did a simple calculation factoring in the size of the sushi restaurant." Fungus went on, becoming more panicked. "The child may have ESCAPED!"
"Yeah, well, until we know for sure, we're gonna act like nothing happened, understand?" Randall said firmly. "You just get the machine up and running, I'll take care of the kid. And when I find whoever let it out, they're DEAD!"
Randall angrily hit the stall door. It swung open, exposing Sulley, Mike and the girl, who were frozen still. It swung shut again, but neither monster noticed as Randall was seething and Fungus was hiding behind the newspaper in fright.
"Why are you still here?" Randall snaked, grabbing the newspaper and shoving Fungus out of the bathroom "COME ON! GO! MOVE! NOW!"
"Oh! Yes! I'm going! Ow! Ow! I'm not here!" Fungus shouted at the same time.
There was a short silence as soon as the two monsters left.
"They're gone." Sulley whispered.
"Thank god." Sora whispered.
At that moment, Mike slipped into the trailer and water splashed around the bowl.
"Ewww." the little girl said.
After exiting the restroom, Sora, Shelley, Mike, Riku, Lea, Ven, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Lena, April, May, and June made their way through the hall. Mikes feet were wet and there was toilet paper stuck to his foot.
"This is bad. This is so very bad." Mike muttered.
"What were they talking about a machine?" Sulley wondered.
"Who cares?! Oh!" Mike groaned.
"I'm concerned about the fact that they were interested in the kid." said Lea. "Why is that?"
"I dunno, but we need to keep her safe." said Riku.
"Well there is a bunch of us keeping an eye on her so that shouldn't be a problem." said Sora.
"Look, don't panic. All we have to do is call her door down and send her home." Sulley said as Mike picked the toilet paper off his foot.
"You're right, you're right." Mike nodded.
"Hey Maxie! Hey fellers!"
Everyone looked and saw Kairi, Aqua, Terra, Roxas, Xion, Naminé, Myde, Isa, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Oswald, Ortensia, Huey, and Violet walk up, Goofy waving to them.
"Oh there you guys are." said Ven.
"How'd everything go on your end?" asked Kairi.
"Well Randall's suspicious." said Ven. "They said something about a machine."
That piqued the rest of the team's minds.
"What kind of machine?" asked Mickey.
"He and Fungus didn't say." said May.
"All we do know is that they seem to know something about the little girl and Fungus is really concerned about it." said Riku.
"Concerned? They guy sounded terrified." Max scoffed. "And not like the other monsters."
"And Randall was calm about it." added Lena. "Very suspicious since he was on the Scare Floor last night."
"That guy keeps getting stranger." said Myde.
"We'll figure out what Randall's up to later." said Sulley. "Right now, we just need to get her back to her door."
"Right that's driven, we're just a group of regular Joes on our way to work and to learn more about work." nodded Mike as they entered the Scare Floor. "We will blend right in."
Sulley hid the girl behind his back. "Top of the morning, fellas!" he called.
"Hey, what's shakin', bacon?" Mike said.
"Morning' everybody! A-hyuck!" said Goofy.
"Good to see all of you again!" said Sora.
"And even better seeing more of you!" Dewey added.
"Did you lose weight? Or a limb?" Sulley said to one.
"Don't worry guys, it's almost Friday… I think!" said Ven.
"Oh we're really blending in." Xion snickered.
"We might as well get matching robes and call ourselves a cult with how we talk." joked Oswald.
"Wasn't Organization XIII like that!" Violet asked Isa.
"Not necessarily." Isa replied. "Yes we wore the same coats, but we never stood in a circle holding candles and chanting words like zombies."
The kids snickered.
"You have her card key, right?" Sulley whispered to them.
"Of course we do!" Louie said quickly.
"Definitely!" said Lena.
"You bet your tail we do!" June laughed nervously.
"Of course I have her card key. I told you I'd get her card key. I went and got her card key, and now I have her card key." Mike scoffed, grabbing a card key from a random file a monster was holding.
Mike slid the card in the slot.
"Okay, here we go." he said.
"Let's put this situation to rest." said Isa.
"Take care of yourself. Try not to run through anymore closets." Sulley said to the girl.
At that moment, a brown door landed in the station. Sora, Sulley, Kairi, Mickey, Minnie, Huey, Lena, and May were confused.
"Mike, that's not her door." Sulley frowned.
"What are you talking about? Of course it's her door. It's her door." Mike insisted.
"He's right, that doesn't look anything like you said it was." Webby said.
"Yeah, a few of us saw her door." said Huey. "Her door was white."
"No." insisted Mike.
"And it had flowers on it." Mickey added.
"No, it must have been dark last night, because this is it's door." Mike said.
"How do you know?" Sora retorted. "You weren't even there."
"Louie, Lena, June. I thought you guys said you got the door key for it." Huey said, confused.
"Uhh…" the three said, not sure what to say,
"Look, it doesn't matter. We got a door and I'm sure it will be happy there." Mike said, opening the door as polka music sounded out. "Hey, you hear that? Sounds like fun in there." he said to the girl.
"That doesn't look like a little girl's bedroom." April frowned.
Mike ignored her. "Okay, send me a postcard, kid. That's Mike Wazowski, care of 22 Mike-Wazowski-You-Got-Your-Life-Back Lane."
"Mowki Kowski." the girl babbled, making the girls coo and the guys chuckle.
"Very good." Mike deadpanned. "Now, bon voyage. Bye-bye. Come on." He picked up a a pencil and began to wave it around the door. "Look at the stick. See the stick? Go get the stick. Go fetch." he said as if she was a dog, tossing the pencil in.
Oswald marched over and slammed the door shut.
"You're not fooling anyone Mike." the rabbit-turned-monster said firmly.
"That was not the door we saw last night." Minnie frowned.
"They're right Mike, this isn't Boo's door." Sulley said, folding his arms.
Everyone looked at Sulley, puzzled.
"'Boo?' What's 'Boo?'" Mike asked.
"That's... what I decided to call her." Sulley replied.
"Aw that's so sweet!" Kairi gushed.
"And she does like to say that a whole lot." Minnie said, looking at the girl. "Don't you?"
"Boo!" Boo said as everyone laughed.
"Well at least we got something to call her now instead of 'the girl.''" said Lea. "And it's easy to get memorized."
"It suits her." said Roxas.
"Yeah, is there a problem?" Sulley retorted to Mike.
Mike inwardly groaned. "Sulley, you're not supposed to name it. Once you name it, you start getting attached to it!" he exclaimed. "NOW, PUT THAT THING BACK WHERE IT CAME FROM, OR SO HELP ME-!"
"MIKE!" Isa hissed, pointing.
Mike halted abruptly. Everyone looked to see the entire scare floor looking at them.
"Oh, hey! We're rehearsing…." Mike began.
"A scene!" Sora quickly said.
"Yeah a scene!" Donald nodded.
"Yes, for uh, the, uh, the… upcoming company play called, um, Put That Thing Back Where It Came From, Or So Help Me!" Mike went on. "Heh, heh... it's a musical!"
"And here's a sneak preview!" Dewey said as everyone stood out of the way for the two monsters.
"Put that thing back where it came from, or so help me…' Mike sang.
" Bom, bom, bom, bom... " Sulley joined in.
" So help me! So help me! " Mike finished. "And cut!"
"And that was your sneak preview!" Ven said.
"Let's give them a round of applause for their work." Aqua quickly said.
The team applauded as Sulley and Mike stood around awkwardly
"Heh, heh. We're still working on it. It's a work in progress. But hey, we need ushers!" Mike added.
Everyone went back to work.
The team sighed in relief.
"That was close." said Terra.
"Too close." nodded Donald. "Good cover by the way guys."
"Why thank you." Mike smirked.
"I made improv." Sora added.
"He sure did." Kairi giggled.
"Still though, we can't draw any unnecessary attention." said Aqua. "If were not careful, we'll cause another panic."
"Yeah I don't want the CDA on our tails." nodded Daisy.
"They're all right you know!" Mike said. "Sulley, I've had enough. Now, say goodbye to-..."
Mike points to where Boo was supposed to be standing… but she wasn't.
"Where'd it go? What'd you do with it?" Mike asked.
"Wait what?" asked Riku as they turned.
"Oh no. Oh nonononono!" gasped Lena.
"Where is she? Aah! Boo!" cried Sulley.
"Aw shit!" muttered Lea.
"How did she do that?!" exclaimed Naminé.
"She's fast for a one or two-year-old." said Louie.
"No kidding." muttered May.
"I don't believe it. She got away from you again?!" Mike groaned. "Well, that is just- Wait a minute, the sun is coming up. This is perfect! Ha-ha! She's gone!" he grinned, realizing the upside of the situation… for him.
"Perfect for you, but not us!" retorted Roxas.
"Maybe she ran out of the scare floor." suggested Donald.
"Good idea Donald, come on fellas!" said Mickey.
Everyone made their way out of the scare floor, though Mike tried to stop them by pulling on Sora and Sulley's tails in an attempt to slow them down.
"Hey, hey, hey, hey, where are you going?" he cried. "Sulley, Sora, guys, please, don't blow this. Not when we're so close to breaking the record. Somebody else will find the kid." he said as they all went into the hallway. "It'll be their problem, not ours. She's out of our hair!"
At that moment, they all stopped in front of Randall… though Sulley and Sora rammed into him and he became a mixture of their fur patterns.
"What are you all doing?" he scowled, quickly changing back.
"They're rehearsing a play." a random slug assistant said.
" She's out of our hair! " Mike, Sora, Dewey, and Webby sang.
"Can it, you all!" Randall said in annoyance before calming down. "So, what do you think of that kid getting out? Pretty crazy, huh?"
"Oh, yeah! Crazy. Heh!" Sulley quickly nodded.
"Is this really not like anything the world has ever seen?" asked Ven.
"Pretty much yeah." Randall nodded. "Though you know, it's kinda… odd."
"Whaddya mean by odd?" asked Lea, raising an eyebrow.
"Well the day a giant group like you shows up to the factory for the first time, this whole fiasco happened." Randall replied, giving them a look.
"Uh…" the team stammered.
"I suppose it was just a coincidence." Violet replied.
"Oh yes indeed!" Minnie nodded. "You know how coincidences are these days."
"Sometimes they just happen out of the blue." nodded Terra.
"Well let's just hope that's what it is then." Randall said. "Anwyas, word on the street is the kid's been traced back to this factory. You haven't seen anything, have you?" he asked.
Behind Randall, everyone spotted Boo emerging from behind a trash can. She scampered off down the hall.
"Uh, well... uh... er, uh…" Sulley stammered.
"No! No way!" Mike quickly replied. "But, if it was an inside job, I'd put my money on Waxford."
"Waxford?!" Randall asked in surprise.
" Yeah, the one at station six. You know, he's got them shifty eyes." Mike replied, gesturing to Waxford, who turned and looked around revealing many shifty eyes.
Randall's eyes narrowed as he headed off towards Waxford. "Hey, Waxford! What time did you leave last night?"
"That's our cue, c'mon!" Lea said.
Everyone ran past Mike after Boo.
"Guys!" he groaned.
"Michael Wazowski!"
Mike gasped and froze.
A very angry Celia was right in front of him, scuffed, bruised, and wearing an Elizabethan collar around her neck.
"Last night was one of the worst nights of my entire life! Bar-none!" she snarled, glaring at a nervous Mike.
Celia's snakes hissed, revealing that they were wearing little dog collars, too.
"I thought you cared about me!" Celia muttered, folding her arms.
Mike shots a quick look at Randall.
"Honey, please. Schmoopsie, I thought you liked sushi.." Mike began.
"Sushi?! SUSHI?! You think this is about sushi?!" Celia snapped.
This got Randall's attention as he turned towards Mike.
Panicking, Mike grabbed Celia and kisses her to keep her quiet, but this only makes Celia slap him.
Randall looked down at his newspaper.
The front page reads: KID SIGHTING AT SUSHI RESTAURANT. Randall studied the blurred photo of Boo in the restaurant. In the background of the photo, blurred but unmistakable, was Mike!
Randall's eyes widened before they narrowed. "Wazowski!" he snarled.
Randall looked up, but Mike was gone. Celia lied on the ground.
"Michael! Mi–" she called but sighed. "Men!" she bitterly grunted.
Mike sprinted through the hallways of Monsters Inc.
"Breathe. Keep breathing." he panted.
He zipped past a water cooler, leapt over a trash can, and scurried around a corner. He came to a stop in front of a portrait of Waternoose, and breathed a sigh of relief. Randall uncamouflaged out of the painting. As Mike turned around, he saw him.
"Yikes!" Mike yelped as Randall grabbed Mike and pushed him against the wall.
"Where's the kid?!" he demanded.
"Kid? Heh. What kid?" Mike nervously asked.
"It's here in the factory. Isn't it?" Randall accused.
"You're not pinning this on me." Mike scowled. I"t never would have gotten out, if you hadn't been cheating last night!
"Cheating?! I–" Randall snapped before a smile spread across his face. "Cheating. Right. Okay, I think I know how to make this all go away. What happens when the whistle blows in 5 minutes?"
"Uhhh, I get a time-out?" Mike guessed.
"Everyone goes to lunch!" Randall scowled. "Which means the scare floor will be…"
"...Painted?" Mike tried.
"Empty!" Randall snapped, shaking Mike. "It'll be empty, you idiot! You see that clock?"
Mike nodded as Randall grabbed his arms, using them as a visual aid to drive home his point.
"When the big hand is pointing up ...and the little hand is pointing up ...the kid's door will be in my station. But when the big hand points down…" Randall then twisted Mike's arms to demonstrate making Mike wince and hiss in pain. "the door will be gone. You, no, all of you have until then to put the kid back. Get the picture?"
Mike nodded in pain.
Randall let him go as Mike ran away.
"You really know how to get through to them."
Randall was unfazed as he turned around and saw Vanitas standing behind him. He was now donning a new helmet.
"Well we all know the feeling when people are messing around with our plans." Randall replied. "You just gotta let them know who's in charge around here."
"And that'll be you monsters involved with us once your plans commence." Vanitas nodded. "But just remember Boggs, while you guys may dominate this world, it'll be under Maleficent's influence AND under Master Xehanort's order. Double cross us like what you're doing to your fellow monsters in the company, then you will have problems you won't be able to get out of."
"Hear ya loud and clear." Randall nodded. "So how goes your new Unversed?"
Vanitas chuckled under his mask as he walked past Randall. "The fears of all the children are giving it immense power." he said. "Those idiots won't be able to stand against it, especially since it's powerful enough to summon more Unversed and cause all sorts of problems. And we got this factory to thank."
He faced Randall again. "Just like how I have this world ot thank in my restoration."
"I thought Maleficent brought you back to life." Randall said, confused.
"My body and soul yes, but my heart needed a boost in power." Vanitas replied. "And it's thanks to this world's power and you and your partners' generosity that it received it."
"Well pleasure doing business with you." Randall smirked.
Boo waddled down a hall in her disguise, babbling and roaring happily. She climbed a stack of boxes next to a garbage can. Sora and Sulley ran down the hall searching for Boo.
"Boo!" Sulley cried when he spotted her.
Boo fell into the trash can.
"No!"
"Boo, get outta there!" Sora cried.
"Hey, you! Halt!"
Sulley and Sora froze when they saw two CDA agents approach them.
"He's the one."
"The one from the commercial."
"Affirmative, that's him."
Sora and Sulley were nervous until…
"Can we get an autograph?" one agent asked, holding up a clipboard and paper.
"Oh! Oh, sure... no problem." Sulley said, relieved.
"Yeah, yeah, he's-he's free." Sora breathed.
"If you could make that out to Bethany, my daughter…" the genet added.
While this was going on, Smitty and Needleman emerge from a door, grabbed the trash can, and wheeled it away. Sulley noticed this turn of events.
"Ah, yes! Let's see..." he said, signing quickly. "'From your scary friend... Best wishes…'"
"...so then I said "if you talk to me like that again, we're through." Needleman grunted as they came to the garbage chute.
"Oh! What'd she say? Smitty asked.
"You know my mom. She sent me to my room." he groaned.
As they talked, Boo climbed out of the garbage. As she did, one of her eye stalks popped off and landed in the trash. She waddled off down a hallway as Sulley finished signing.
"Thanks a lot." the agent said as they left.
"See you guys later. Take it easy." Sulley said quickly.
"And good luck!" Sora added as the agents were out of sight.
The two turned to see the geeks dump the garbage into the chute. The loose eyestalk restsedatop the garbage pile, making it look like Boo was in amongst the trash.
"Bottoms up!" Needleman said, pressing a button.
Boo's eyestalk and trash went tumbling down the garbage chute. Sora and Sulley gasped in horror.
"OH SHIT!" Sora cried.
Sulley and Sora sprinted down the stairs, panting. They burst into the room. From behind glass, they watched the load of garbage - including Boo's eyestalk - move towards a large smashing machine.
"BOOOO!" Sulley shouted.
"NO!" Sora screamed.
Elsewhere, Boo was skipping around a corner, singing. She then saw Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Kairi, Aqua, Myde, Huey, June, and Lena walking around looking for her.
"Boo!"
The six looked down.
"Boo!" Aqua grinned, picking her up.
"There you are little fella." Mickey chuckled.
"You shouldn't run off like that." Donald lightly chided.
"We gotta put a bell on her." Lena quipped.
"We'd better tell the others we found her." said Myde.
At that moment, a Day Care Worker and some little monsters walked by and saw them. "Oh. Well, hello there. Is that one yours?" she asked.
"Actually she's Sulley's." Goofy replied. "We're just helping look after her."
"Kids can be a handful." Mickey said.
"I see no lies." June shrugged.
"And some of us have experience with them." Donald added.
"Oh that's so sweet of you." the worker smiled. "So what's her name."
"Mike Wazowski!" Boo babbled, much to the worldly-traveler's amusement.
Back downstairs, Sora and Sulley reacted in horror as the eyestalk and trash moved through a meat grinder, smashing hammers chopping blades, and under a large roller. Everytime they tried to look, they wound up fainting from the sight.
Finally the machine spit out a compressed cube of garbage. The cube traveled down a conveyor belt towards the two. Atop the cube, still visible, as Boo's crushed eyestalk.
Sulley reached for it and fainted.
"Boo…" Sora whispered, tears in his eyes as he thought Boo was now compressed into a garbage cube…. gone.
Memories of being told children like Lila, Cooper, and Nathaniel Barton were killed in the Snap came to mind. Clint was devastated as he had lost them and Laura that day.
And now Sulley was feeling the same way.
Sora could only softly cry.
Meanwhile, Mike was running around the lobby, trying to find everyone.
"SULLEY!" he called. "Oh, Sulley!"
Mike scanned the bathroom. "Okay, Sulley. Come on, enough." he muttered before seeing George and Charlie. "Hey! You guys seen Sulley or Sora and his whole group anywhere?"
"Nope, sorry." George replied as the two shook their heads.
"Oh, Sulley!" Mike groaned as he ran off.
"Boy, Wazowski looks like he's in trouble." George commented as he opened the locker… only for the toys and kid junk from Boo's room Sulley stuffed in the night before fell out onto him.
Charlie gasped. "23-19! WE HAVE A 23-19!" he shouted.
CDA agents, who just so happened to be there, burst out from the bathroom stalls.
"Halt!" one said.
"Oh, dear." George groaned as he was tackled to the ground.
"Sulley! Sulley!" Mike shouted as he ran down the halls.
CRASH!
Mike got up as he saw that he, Riku, Terra, Ven, Roxas, Lea, Isa, Xion, Naminé, Minnie, Daisy, Max, Oswald, Ortensia, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Violet, April, and May, who were all lying on the ground.
"Well I guess that's what we get for not watching where we're going." Isa muttered.
"Any luck finding Boo?" asked Naminé.
"No luck so far." Louie replied.
"Aw great I was just about to ask you about that." Mike groaned. "And where's Sulley?"
"Haven't seen him or Sora since they went down one hallway together." said Webby.
"Hopefully they have had more luck than us." said Violet.
"Or Kairi, Aqua, Myde, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Huey, Lena, and June since they're not here." added Terra.
"Oh wait! There's Sulley and Sora!" said Dewey, pointing ahead.
Everyone looked and saw Sulley staggering along pathetically, cradling the garbage cube" in his arms. Sora followed close behind, his expression looking like he had seen a ghost… and not a good one like Duckworth or Zero.
"Sulley! Sora! Oh! Great news, guys. I got us a way out of this mess, but we gotta hurry. Where is it?" Mike said as they all came up to the two.
"Hey Sora, why the long face?" asked Louie.
"Yeah is everything alright?" asked Naminé.
Sora and Sulley were silent.
"Guys… what's going on?" asked Lea, confused and concerned.
"Where's Boo?" asked Daisy.
Sora then burst into tears as he covered his eyes, much to everyone's surprise.
"Whoa Sora what happened?!" Riku asked in concern.
Sulley whimpered as he showed them the cube.
"Sull, that's a cube of garbage." Mike deadpanned.
"C-Ch-Check t-the-the t-t-top…" Sora stuttered through his tears.
At that moment, the crushed eyestalk hung over the cube. Everyone gasped.
"OH MY GOD!" screamed Xion.
"OH MY GOODNESS!" Minnie shrieked.
"OH NO!" cried Webby.
"Uh oh." Mike muttered, his eye wide.
Naminé, Xion, and Violet fainted, Roxas, Ven, and April catching them. Everyone just started in horror.
"I can still hear her little voice." Sully blubbered.
"Mike Wazowski!"
Everyone was surprised. Mike leaned in closer to the garbage cube.
"Hey, I can hear it too." Mike said.
"So can I." said Max.
"Mike Wazowski!" several voices sounded out.
"That sounded like more than one kid." said Isa.
"How many kids you got in there?" asked Mike.
At that moment, everyone saw the Day care kids and their teacher walk by. Boo was following them, followed by Kairi, Aqua, Myde, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Huey, Lena, and June.
"Mike Wazowski!" the day care kids shouted when Boo spotted the others.
"Kitty!"
"Boo!" Sulley said happily as he ran towards her, followed by the rest of the travelers.
Sulley tossed the cube, which Mike tried to catch… only for it to bring him to the ground.
Sulley picked Boo up, and hugged her tightly.
"Boo! Oh, you're all right. I was so worried. I was–" Sulley said relieved before going stern. "Don't you ever run away from me again, young lady."
"Yeah Boo." Sora sniffed, relieved. "You nearly gave the both of us a heart attack!"
"Oh, but I'm so glad you're safe." Sulley said, nuzzling her.
"We all are." smiled Riku.
"Where did you nine find her?" asked Ortensia.
"We were just walking in our group to find her when she ran into us." said Aqua.
"And the Day Care Teacher offered to take us back to the Scare Floor since this is our second day here." added Huey.
"Well that's very generous of you." smiled Minnie.
"Well it's the least I could do." she said before looking at Sulley. "And I must say, you draw quit an affectionate father."
"Uh, actually, she's my, uhhh, my cousin's sister's–" Sulley attempted to correct her when Mike cut him off.
"Okay, Sulley, that's enough. Let's go." he said hurriedly as a little day care kid stepped up to Mike.
"Mike Wazowski!" he babbled.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, sure. Step aside, kid. We're in a–" Mike began, waving his hand when, without warning, the kid bit him.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" he screamed as everyone cringed and winced.
Boo laughed hysterically at Mike's pain. The lights overhead glowed intensely, then burst. That made the day care monsters scream and run around.
"Well that was unexpected." Lea quipped.
"Just like the apartment." Mickey added.
"Will you stop making Boo laugh?" Sulley hissed.
"I didn't!" Mike said as he freed his hand. "So come on!"
Everyone ran down the hallway as the teacher tried to calm the kids down… and two of them ran into each other.
Everyone sprinted down the hallway.
"I still don't understand. You've got Boo's door?" Sulley asked.
"I'll explain later. Run." Mike said.
"You'd better have a good explanation this time." Isa said sternly.
They arrived at the Scare Floor. It was dark and empty.
"Gawrsh, where is everybody?" asked Goofy.
"Probably still at lunch. It is around that time." Sulley replied.
"Okay, let's move. Let's move, let's move! Come on!" Mike muttered, closing his eye, not daring to hope. "Oh, please be there, please be there, please be there."
At that moment, Sora, Kairi, Mickey, Minnie, Huey, Lena, and May's eyes widened when they saw Boo's door in a station next to a cart of scream canisters.
"That's it! That's her door!" exclaimed Lena.
"Just the way we described it!" added Huey.
"You're right! Painted white with flowers, looks like a kid's door alright." said Dewey.
"There it is! Just like Randall said!" Mike said, happily relieved.
Everyone stopped.
"Randall? Wait a minute." Sulley said, concerned.
Boo squirmed out of Sulley's arms and ran off under a desk. "Whoa, whoa, hey!" Sulley said, trying to calm her down.
"It's ok Boo, he's not here." soothed Naminé, kneeling to Boo's level.
"1, 2, 3, 4! Get the kid back through the door!" chanted Mike. "We're gonna get our lives back. The nightmare is over."
"Hey, it's okay, Boo." Sulley soothed.
"Hey don't worry, no scary monsters are here." soothed Kairi.
"Hey, what's the matter? Come on, it's time to move." Mike said as Sulley picked Boo up.
"Mike, what are you thinking? We can't trust Randall. He's after Boo." Sulley said firmly.
"And there is the possibility that he's up to no good beyond that." said Lea. "You got it memorized? The guy gives off bad vibes."
"Who cares? Let's go. This is a limited time offer." Mike said hurriedly.
"No, no. I don't like this." Sulley said, surveying the floor.
"None of us do Sulley." Terra nodded.
"Yeah something's not right here." said Roxas, looking around.
Mike was annoyed. "Look, Sulley, you wanted her door, and there it is. Now, let's move!"
"No, Mike." Sulley said firmly, holding Boo.
"Sulley's right Mike, this feels too easy." said Donald.
"Way too easy." Webby said with her eyes narrowed. "I smell a trap."
"I think it's best that we skip this Mike." Aqua said calmly. "At least until we can fully make sure it's safe."
"What do you mean 'fully make sure?'" Mike asked in confusion. "The door's right here. You wanted the door to send the kid home and it's right here and now you don't wanna?!"
"It's not that we don't want to send her home Mike, we do!" said Sora.
"We're just being careful." Kairi said.
Mike sighed in irritation. "You want me to prove everything's on the up and up? Fine!" he muttered as he stormed toward Boo's door. "They want the door, I get the door. They don't want it now." he muttered to himself.
"Mike, wait!" Sully hissed.
"Mike get back here!" Riku hissed as well.
"He's a paranoid delusional furball." Mike muttered as he opened the door. He gestured to the empty rooms with a deadpan look and walked inside.
"Mike...!" Sulley loudly whispered.
"Get out of that room!" Daisy loudly whispered as well.
Mike began to jump on the bed. Suddenly a large box covered Mike and snatched him away.
Everyone jumped in alarm and quickly hid around the scare floor. Some hid under the desks and some hid behind scream canister carts.
Randall peeked out of Boo's room and emerged with the box.
Boo saw Randall and whimpered, Sulley gently shushing her. She nodded and went quiet.
"I knew that purple bastard was up to no good." Isa whispered angrily from his hiding spot under ther desk closeted to the exit. "He tried to get Boo."
"But why?" whispered Xion.
"I dunno, but I have a feeling we'll find out whether we like it or not." Isa whispered back.
Randall loaded the box into a tricked out hollow scream cart, slammed the lid close, and pressed the button, sending Boo's door away.
"Oh boy." Louie whispered.
Suddenly Boo slipped and fell forward with an "Oof!"
Randall snapped to attention and disappeared.
Everyone waited anxiously, trying not to be seen.
Sulley peered out from under the desk, trying to spot any signs of Randall. A piece of paper slipped off a nearby desk and fluttered to the ground. Everyone barely dared to breathe. On the other side of the desk, Randall silently uncamouflaged. Neither one saw the other, but Randall was moving closer to Sulley by the second.
RIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGG!
At that moment, the lunch bell rang. Randall rushed off to his cart as monsters returned from lunch.
Seeing a good moment, the group came out of their hiding spots and quickly followed after the camouflaging monster.
Jerry spotted them. "Hey, Sulley, where have you been all day?" But they ran past him. "Sulley? Sulley!""
Everyone followed Randall through the halls, barely able to keep up. Just as they turned a corner… it was a deadend. Carts of scream canisters were everywhere and there was a tool wall at the end.
"Huh?" Sulley asked.
"What the butt?" Lea said in confusion.
"Where'd they go?" asked May.
"How could they disappear like that?" asked Kairi.
"Maybe the used a corridor." suggested Myde.
"We would've heard it." Isa said.
"Check the carts." suggested Terra.
Sulley, Max, and Riku checked the carts.
"Mike? Mike?" said Riku.
"Where are you? You in there?" asked Max.
"Where are you, buddy? Mike?" Sulley asked.
"No dice guys, they're just a bunch of regular canisters." said Max.
"They gotta be somewhere." said Goofy, scratching his head. "But where?"
Webby then spotted Boo playing with the tools.
"Oh careful Boo. You don't wanna hurt yourself." Webby said, going near the girl.
At that moment, Boo tugged on a wrench, accidentally opened a secret panel, revealing a dark corridor.
"Oh my god!" Webby gasped.
"What is it Webbigail?" asked Violet.
"Look what Boo found!" Webby said.
Everyone turned and were surprised to see the secret pathway.
"Boo found a secret passage!" Webby said.
"Boo! Way to go!" Sulley said proudly.
"Well done Boo!" praised Sora.
"Yeah, nice job kid." smirked Lena.
Boo giggled.
Everyone looked at the passageway. Their surprise turned to uneasiness.
"This looks… creepy." noted Dewey.
"Very creepy." shuddered Myde.
"I don't like it." Louie frowned.
"Neither do we." said Oswald. "But we have to find Mike."
"And we need to find out what Randall's up to." added Sora.
Boo whimpered a bit as Sulley comforted her. "It's okay." he whispered to her.
As everyone walked inside, the doors slammed shut behind him. Everyone looked back.
"No turning back now." Aqua said. "Come on."
Everyone nodded, some reluctantly. The group made their way down the hall, hoping to find Mike and see what Randall was doing.
