Chapter 5: Shopping Spree and The Ebon Hawk

Everyone headed back to the First Distract.

Sora: Okay, our first priority is supplies.

Dolly: Yeah, we got a long journey ahead of us.

Stone: General has a point. We're going to need food, medicine, additional weapons, and anything else we might need.

Donald: (Bringing out a huge bag of money with his magic) Goofy and I took this from the treasury.

Goofy: There's enough cash in here to buy what we need.

Sparky saw a store that sold a lot of stuff that they needed. He pointed and told the others the store.

Dolly: Good find, Sparky.

The group went inside and Donald got a shocking surprise. The shop owners were Donald's nephews: Huey, Dewey, and Louie.

Donald: BOYS?!

Trio: Hi Uncle Donald.

Dolly: Are these your nephews?

Donald: Yes. These are Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Huey wears red, Dewey wears blue, and Louie wears green.

Sora: Well, we're here to buy supplies.

Huey: Well, you're in luck. We got an adventurer's section here in the store. But it's gonna cost you.

Donald: (Slightly but visibly mad) Your actually charging family?

Louie: Sorry, Uncle Donald but we can't just give you this stuff.

Donald took a deep breath and sighed.

Donald: Your right, boys. This is still a business.

Dewey: We can give you a 20% family discount.

Everyone browsed around at the supplies while Goofy and Sparky handled the food and necessity stocks.

Stone: (Examining a WESTAR-34 Blaster pistol) How much for this pistol?

Huey: You're in luck with that model. Buy that plus a different model and get different one free.

Stone: Let's have a look at the model series.

As Stone was being escorted to the armory, Dolly was browsing clothing accessories. Her mouse friend came up wearing mouse size shorts, a red shirt, and a blue hat.

Dolly: You look like an immigrant mouse, Windsor.

The mouse squeaked in confusion.

Dolly: Gotta call you something.

The newly named Windsor squeaked happily.

Dolly: How much are the clothes?

Louie: They're free if you buy this Big Ben Mouse cage.

Dolly: (Eyeing a white cowboy hat with a black bandana) Throw in those and you got a deal. (Brushing her new black hair with her hand) I might need it.

Sparky: Ikata!

Sparky chased after an orange orb that stopped at Dolly.

Dolly: (Giving Sparky the orb) I thought we were buying necessities?

Sparky: Boochie-boo.

Donald: (Coming up) He wanted the orb with this cassette player of Hawaiian music.

Dewey: That's a part of pre-selected music playlists.

Dolly: Got anything special?

Dewey: Follow me.

Meanwhile, Sora was browsing portable bedding and blankets. He was looking through some silk blankets when he found a metal staff made of a special iron with a activation button on it. Unknown to him there was a red crystal inside to power it. This was a hinged double-bladed lightsaber.

Sora: (Picking it up as Huey passed by with Stone's helmet now modified with a Macrobinoculars attachment) Hey Huey, what's this?

Huey: Don't know. It wasn't in our inventory earlier.

Sora: How much?

Huey: Take it. Free of charge.

Dolly was helping Sparky pick out sunglasses when she saw a plush dalmatian toy. Feeling homesick, Dolly put it in her cart next to the backpack in the shape of a small anime robot kitty.

Soon, everyone came up with their items to purchase.

Donald: Okay, boys. How much?

The boys tallied up everything while factoring in free deals and the 20% discount.

Huey: That'll be 10,000 coins.

Donald checked the bag and they had that and then some.

Donald: Can we leave this here for store credit?

Louie: Sure, Uncle Donald. Wanna have our delivery droids to take it to your ship? It'll be free.

Sora: Sure.

Sora and company were brought to the Traverse Town docking bays. Inside was a red and white Dynamic-class starship with a three-prong shape design, dual turbolaser turrets & dual heavy laser cannons, and dual rear engines. This is the Ebon Hawk.

Sora: Awesome ship.

Dolly: Could use a better paint job.

Sparky dug into their newly bought stuff and brought a can of blue spray paint out.

Dolly: Might need more than that, buddy.

Sora: Okay, first everyone gets situated in their own rooms. Once we get settled, we'll head out.

Everyone agreed and went aboard. As they entered the Main Hold, they were greeted by a green, gray, and yellow cylinder-shape droid wheeling up on two legs and a retractable third wheel. This was M5-BZ.

Dolly: Cool robot.

Everyone except Donald and Goofy started exploring the ship for rooms and met back in the Main Hold.

Goofy: Anyone finds any rooms they want.

Dolly: I'll take the Cargo Bay. There is plenty of room for me and Windsor there.

Windsor squeaked in agreement that he liked that plan.

Stone: I'll take the Communication Station. I can monitor our incoming transmissions better if I'm there.

Sparky pointed to the Medical Bay as his room.

Sora: I'll take the Starboard Dormitory. You and Goofy wanna bunk with me, Donald?

Donald: Nah, we can sleep in the Port Dormitory.

?: Hey, fellas. You're back.

Sora and the others found a sharply dressed Cricket jump onto the holo-pad table.

Dolly: Hey, little guy. You coming with us?

?: You betcha I am. Jiminy Cricket is the name. I'm here to chronicle your journey.

Donald: You had best stay here on the ship, Jiminy. It could get dangerous.

Jiminy: Don't worry, Donald. I'll stay in the Communication Station and use the monitoring equipment to safely write everything down.

Dolly: Hey, if we're going to use this ship we should give it a name.

Goofy: Chip and Dale, two friends of ours, said this ship is called the Ebon Hawk.

Sora: The Ebon Hawk… (Smiling) I like it.

Everyone agreed that the name stayed. Donald went to the cockpit, started the engines, and the Ebon Hawk flew to its next destination.
