Chapter 10: Hawk Squadron

Beezee soon deciphered the coordinates and Donald plotted a course for the world in question. Sora decided to hold a meeting in the Main Hold.

Sora: Guys, I got to thinking about a little order of ranks among our group.

Goofy: Gawrsh, you mean like giving us military ranks?

Sora: Exactly.

Stone: That's a good idea, sir.

Sora: Okay, since Stone calls me 'General', that'll be my rank. General Sora Kirkson. Since Dolly is my bodyguard, she'll be ranked 'Colonel'.

Dolly: (Admiring Ace of Spades Card) That's reasonable.

Donald: You took something?!

Dolly: It's just an ordinary playing card.

Donald calmed down when he realized it was something harmless.

Stone: Sir, I'll keep my official military rank of Commander.

Sora: That's fair. Goofy, how about you?

Goofy: Gawrsh, I'm Captain of the Guards back home. I'll take that rank.

Sora: That's fair. Since Stone already labeled Sparky Private, that'll be his rank with Beezee and Windsor.

Sparky just shrugged his shoulders, more focusing on his orange ball like his cousins, Stitch and Richter, used to do.

Donald: I'm the Court Magician back home.

Sora: Lieutenant sounds nice to you?

Donald: Sure.

Stone: Looks like we have ranks for this squad.

Dolly: We should have an official name for us. Like… Team Keyblade?

Everyone shook their heads in disagreement, not like the sound of it.

Goofy: (As Jiminy came hoping in) Guardian Squadron sounds pretty neat.

Everyone thought Goofy was onto something with Squadron.

Jiminy: Hey, fellas. How about Hawk Squadron?

Sora: (Thinking) … I like it.

Dolly: It does have a nice ring.

Beezee alerted that they've arrived at the coordinates.

Dolly: Jiminy, mind putting my souvenir card in my room?

Jiminy: (Taking card) Sure, Dolly.

Jiminy hopped to Dolly's room as everyone went to the cockpit. The monitor describes the world with trees. The only other thing there was a waterfall and a huge treehouse. This was Deep Jungle.

Goofy: Hey, Donald, maybe King Mickey's down there.

Stone saw the monitor was detecting something and headed to the armory. But Donald wasn't convinced.

Donald: In a backwater place like that? No way!

Dolly: We should still investigate. Might give us a clue on the rest of our missing friends and family.

Sora: Dolly's right! Riku, Kairi, Dolly's family, and Roxy might be down there. Let's just check it out.

Donald: Forget it! We're on an important mission!

Donald sat in the pilot seat and began switching off the Autopilot.

Sora: Just land!

Sora grabbed Donald and tried to get the Ebon Hawk to land

Donald: No!

Donald struggled against Sora, inadvertently opening the Exit Ramp. Just as Donald gave in, Sora accidentally spun the Steering Wheel and the Ebon Hawk spun out of control. Everyone got thrown around so fast, they were launched out. Only ones still aboard after the spinning stopped were M5-BZ, Jiminy, and all their supplies.
