Chapter 27: Jafar

As Genie showed Jafar the Keyhole with Jasmine unconscious at his feet, he felt like he had won. Suddenly, Jafar almost got nailed by a blaster bolt.

Sora: Miss us, Jafar?

Jafar: (Annoyed) Pesky vermin. Genie, my second wish… Make me a sorcerer!

Genie snapped his fingers and Jafar felt magic powers surge through his body. He tapped the ground and a hole opened underneath everyone. Jasmine was left above near the Keyhole.

Dolly: (Drawing Yubashiri) You're going down, Jafar.

Jafar fired fireballs at the heroes from his staff but Dolly blocked them as Sora and Aladdin swung their weapons at Jafar. He used his staff to block them but didn't notice Donald preparing Simba's Summon Gem. Stone drew both his DC-17 Hand Blasters and opened fire on Jafar, but Jafar protected himself with a stone wall.

Jafar: Is that the best you all have?

Simba jumped over the wall and pounced onto Jafar. Before Simba could attack him, Jafar levitated Simba off him and threw him to the side. Goofy rushed at Jafar and whacked him in the head with his shield. Annoyed, Jafar threw Goofy over to Donald.

Sora: (Helping Simba) You okay, pal?

Simba: I think I'm ok.

Jafar morphed himself into a giant snake and wrapped himself around Aladdin.

Dolly: (Tossing his scimitar to him) Aladdin, catch!

Aladdin caught it and stabbed Jafar. Jafar screamed and let Aladdin go. Sora fired a Thunder Spell at Jafar and Dolly launched Sparky at Jafar. The electric attacks cause Jafar a lot of pain and enough of a distraction for Simba to bite his tail. Jasmine watched the fight go on. When she turned around, someone came from behind and grabbed her. Back at the fight, everyone backed Jafar into a corner.

Dolly: Give it up, Jafar. You're not going to win.

Jafar: Fools! I have all the power I could want.

Iago: (Landing on Jafar's shoulder) Losers.

Suddenly, Aladdin had an idea.

Aladdin: Actually, you're still second rate. Genie gave you your power, he could easily take it away.

Sora and Dolly picked up what Aladdin was planning.

Dolly: All we have to do is get the lamp and wish for your powers to be gone.

Sora: All he has to do is snap his fingers and your history.

Genie didn't like where they were going with this and neither did the others.

Donald: Guys, stop!

Stone: Bad idea, General.

But it was too late. Jafar fell for their trick.

Jafar: Let's just fix that. Genie, for my final wish. I wish to be an all-powerful genie!

Genie: (Sighing) Your wish is my command. Nice going, guys.

Genie snapped his fingers and Jafar turned into a giant red genie.

Jafar: I now have infinite cosmic powers!

Dolly: But an itty-bitty tiny living space.

Suddenly, everyone realized the trick as a black lamp appeared and gold cuffs appeared on Jafar's wrist. Jafar got sucked into the lamp as Sora grabbed it as Aladdin grabbed Genie's. Iago tried to flee but Jafar grabbed him and they both were trapped in the lamp.

Donald: (Laughing) You three tricked him!

Everyone got out of the room and found Jasmine was gone. Sora took a moment to lock the Keyhole and grabbing a new Data Disc before joining the others in looking for Jasmine. Everyone looked through out the cave but Jasmine was gone. They headed back to Aladdin's house.

Sora: We'll find her, Aladdin.

Aladdin: I can't join you in the search, can I?

Regretfully, everyone told Aladdin no but Genie decided to do the right thing.

Genie: Uh, Earth to Al. Hello? You still got one wish left. Just say the word. Ask me to find Jasmine for you.

Aladdin was surprised. He wanted to do it, but he trusted Hawk Squadron with his life. He knew his new friends would bring Jasmine home. Besides, a promise is a promise.

Aladdin: I wish… FOR YOUR FREEDOM, GENIE!

Genie: Al!

Genie snapped his fingers and legs sprung out from his body, his cuffs fell off him, and his lamp became useless. Genie was finally free. Everyone cheered for Genie's freedom.

Aladdin: Like you said, Genie. I never had a friend like you. I don't suppose you could go with them and bring Jasmine back.

Genie: (Playfully turning his back on them) Sorry, Al. I'm done taking orders.

Everyone smiled a bit, knowing that Genie was testing his new freedom.

Genie: However, a favor! That I can do! (Taking his lamp) And here's two favors now!

Genie snapped his fingers and his lamp turned from gold to Royal Blue and Gold with a 'M' on both sides. This was the Laser Lamp. A special blaster holster belt appeared on Dolly's pants.

Genie: Now my lamp is your means of magic attacks.

Dolly: (Taking her new weapon) Thanks, Genie.

Genie: And for favor number 2. Sora, summon the Keyblade.

Sora did so, but it was a new one. The blade was gold while the Key Teeth was the number '3', the guard handle formed a heart-colored gold and blue, and the keychain was a oil lamp. This was the Three Wishes Keyblade.

Stone: Welcome to the Squadron, Genie.

Genie: (Morphing into a Clone Trooper with blue armor) Good to join the fight, sir.

Meanwhile, Maleficent was speaking to Hades and Riku.

Hades: And that vizier would've had them if someone stuck around to help.

Riku: Hey, I did my part. I brought the princess, didn't I?

Maleficent wasn't angry.

Maleficent: Jafar was beyond our help. Done in by his own arrogance. One should beware of letting it burn too fiercely.

Hades: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Lighten up. I'm as cool as they come, okay By the way, kid, have we got something special for you.

Maleficent: We had a deal, yes? You help us, and we grant you your wish…

Maleficent showed the images of two girls. One wore white and blue clothes with matching shoes and red hair and the other was a dark skin girl with black hair and a yellow & purple dress. These were Kairi and Roxy Rottweiler.

Riku: Kairi!

Maleficent: Go to them. Your vessel is waiting.

Stepping into the dark light was a well-groomed man in fancy looking red and black clothes and a hook for a left hand. This was the pirate Captain Hook.

Captain Hook: Just remember, this is no pleasure cruise. It won't be a pleasant voyage.

Riku remain skeptical. A part of his heart still believed Sora was his best friend and his companions could be his friends.

Riku: Why are you doing all this for me? What's the catch?

Maleficent: Catch? Silly boy. You're like a son to me. (Touching Riku's cheek) I only want to see you happy.

Riku swatted her away, feeling he believed enough of her lies.

Riku: I seriously doubt that.

Maleficent said nothing else as Riku walked away.
