Chapter 35: Champions

Dolly was putting up her Trick-or-Treat bag into her trophy case when she heard something rattling around in it. She looked inside and found a Data Disc.

Dolly: Score!

She ran to the others and found them in the Communication Station.

Dolly: Guys, I found…

Stone: (Working the equipment) Not right now, Colonel. I just got a message from Cid. He said that the Olympus Coliseum has reopened. The Tournament is back on.

Sora: Donald, plot a course back to the Coliseum. We still need to find where that world's keyhole is.

Donald: Right.

Dolly secretly gave M5-BZ the Data Disc she found. An hour later, they returned to the Coliseum. As they entered the Coliseum, a warrior in black and dark blue clothes in armor was signing up. He stopped Dolly as she passed.

?: Hey, kid. The Games has an interesting rule. Rule #2: Competitors may call for aid when they need it.

Dolly took note of it and went to join the others. She told Sora about the rule, thinking it might come in handy. As the competition began again, warriors were pitted against each other. Donald, Goofy, Stone, Sparky, and Dolly were knocked out of the competition. All the other competitors were knocked out until it was just Sora and Hercules.

Hercules: (Stretching muscles) Don't think I'm going easy on you, Sora. We may be friends but we're opponents right now.

Sora: (Summoning Pumpkinhead) I know, Herc.

The two friends clashed against each other. Sora had his skills and speed against Hercule's strength. Both sides clashed hard. When Hercules drew a sword, Sora raised his hand.

Sora: I invoke Rule #2!

The crowd gasped as Dolly jumped to the fight to help.

Hercules: Phil?

Phil: Kid invoked the rule. It's allowed.

Hercules looked behind him and spotted an old friend.

Hercules: Then I invoke it, too.

Out from the hall behind him, ran Hercules old friend, Zack.

Zack: Hey, Herc. Long time, eh pal?

Hercules: Yeah, good to see you buddy.

Phil: (Figuring out how Sora learned the rule) Pretty clever, kid. FIGHT!

The four combatants fought as the crowd cheered.

Zack: (Clashing blades with Dolly) Sorry for the trick! Wanted to meet back up with Hercules in style!

Dolly: (Breaking a sweat) I understand. You two old friends?

Hercules was explaining to Sora the same thing.

Hercules: Zack wanted to be a hero like me, so he tried to convince Phil to train him.

Sora: Why didn't he agree to it?

Zack: (Jumped from Dolly's swings) Phil said Student/Teacher Ratio. He ended up picking my friend. But it's okay, I like Herc.

Dolly: (Rushing at him) I understand that.

Both Hercules and Zack went on the defensive until they got back-to-back.

Hercules: (Seeing his friend) Glad to have you by my side, Zack.

Zack: HERC, DUCK!

Zack pulled Hercules down in time to dodge Sora's attack. Phil watched as the four kept fighting.

Phil: Full of Heart. Nobody can teach that.

Sora and Dolly jumped with their blades raised high. Hercules and Zack raised their swords to defend them, but Sora and Dolly's cut clean through the blades. Smirking, Hercules dropped his sword and surrendered. Zack was ready to on behalf of his friend, but Hercules stopped him.

Hercules: Zack, it's okay.

Zack stood down as the crowd cheered. Phil walked up with a trophy and gave it to Sora. Later, everyone met up in the lobby.

Hercules: Great work, Sora. You too, Dolly.

Sora: I think I understand what you meant by Strength of Heart. Mine come from my team.

Phil was surprised.

Phil: Really?

Dolly: Yeah, when we work together, there's absolutely nothing we can do.

Phil smirked with pride. His Junior Heroes had learned an important lesson.

Hercules: That's absolutely correct. No matter what, you'll overcome anything.

Sora looked at the stone Phil asked them to move. Everyone got on one side and managed to move it. Under it was the keyhole. Sora used the Pumpkinhead to seal it.

Goofy: Talk about an additional trophy.

Everyone had a good laugh. Then Zack pulled out a Data Disc from his pocket.

Zack: Here. I found this out back. You guys can have it.

Stone: (Taking it) Thanks.

Sora resummoned the Keyblade and got a different one. It looked like it was made up of Greek Marble Collums and the keychain token was a medallion with a lightning bolt on it. This was Olympia. Sora and Hawk Squadron said goodbye and took their leave.

Hercules: So, wanna stick around Zack?

Zack: Really?

Hercules: I could some help.

Phil: With my training, of course.

Zack: But the Ratio…

Phil: Stands… But if you, by chance, overhear what I'm teaching Herc, then I can't stop you.

Zack smiled, seeing what Phil was implying.
