Chapter 36: Heart of a King
After leaving Olympus, M5-BZ started inserting the two new coordinates into the computer. Dolly was walking around the Ebon Hawk when she saw how sad Simba was. Despite being actually a dog-turned-human, Dolly wanted to help him because he was her friend.
Dolly: Hey Simba, you okay?
Simba: Yeah, I'm fine.
Dolly: You don't look fine. What's wrong?
Simba remembered the day his father died and how he supposedly caused it. He didn't want to tell his friends but he needed to talk.
Simba: Have you ever made a mistake that just haunts you every day of your life?
Dolly: Not really. But I think it's best to let it go.
Simba: Yeah, so I've been taught. I just can't help but feel weak for it.
Dolly: You're anything but weak, Simba. You've got the heart of a king, buddy. The strength you carry is the kind tyrants would fear. As long as that fire burns within you, no one will defeat you.
Simba started to smile. Donald heard everything as Dolly walked by.
Donald: That was a nice thing you said to him.
Dolly: Thanks, Donald.
Donald: Back in Monstro, you cried bit.
Dolly: Sorry. I was just missing my family.
Donald: I understand. It's okay to be sad but remember our promise: No Frowning.
Dolly smiled, feeling emotionally better. The pair watched as M5-BZ rolled into the engine room and sealed the door.
Dolly: You think we should be worried about Beezee being in there?
Donald: Nah, he's probably running a routine maintenance check.
In truth, M5-BZ was actually repairing the IG-86 Sentinel Droid and reprogramming it for the Squadron's needs. Dolly found Sora messing with the navigation computer.
Dolly: What's wrong?
Sora: The Navigation Computer is glitching. It's showing two new worlds.
Dolly: I was trying to tell you earlier I found a Data Disc in my Halloweentown souvenir.
Sora: Oh, sorry. At least we don't have to look for a Data Disc in the next world.
Everyone relaxed as they headed to the next world. When they arrived, they were deeply confused. The navigation computer described it as a kingdom under the sea. This was Atlantica.
Stone: (Checking the system) Doesn't appear to be a malfunction, sir. Says we've arrived at our destination.
Goofy: Gawrsh, what do we do?
Donald: My magic can help us here.
Sora: Right. Donald, start a spell to help us here. Stone, you and Sparky stay here on the ship and monitor our progress. Neither of you are going to be much help here.
Sparky growled until Stone stopped him.
Stone: My weapons and armor aren't going to be much help and your electrical powers are going to do more harm than good.
Sparky sulked away to his room.
