Returning to Traverse Town, Sora and friends told Leon what happened.
Leon: So the darkness is flowing out of the Keyhole.
Aerith: No wonder there are more and more Heartless everywhere. The only way to stop them is…
Sora: (Showing the Keyblade) Seal the Keyhole, right?
Stone: (Then we have to go back) We have to go back.
Leon: Agreed. But no one knows what will happen once it's sealed.
Sora: Well, we can't just stay here. We have to do something. I got a friend back there.
Dolly: Agreed. We'll fight our way to the Keyhole and seal it.
Leon: (As Stone got a message from M5-BZ) That's right. You have one more friend to worry about. Riku's Keyblades must have been born of the captive princesses' hearts… Just like that Keyhole you all saw. (Looking at Kairi and Roxy) Of course, without Kairi's heart, it remained incomplete. The light in Roxy's heart is strong but was easily mistaken for a princess'. Once those Keyblades were destroyed, the princesses' hearts should have been freed. Don't worry, Sora. If anyone can save your friend, you and your team can.
Leaving the house, Stone went up to Sora.
Stone: General, Beezee said he's deciphered the coordinates we've pieced together but something is blocking his scanners from locating it.
Goofy: Do ya think it's something dangerous?
Sora: We'll figure it out later.
Taking a chance, everyone found the two girls in the waterway.
Kairi: A light at the end of the tunnel…
Sora: Oh, your grandma's story, right?
Kairi: (Smiling) That's right. We were together.
Roxy: Dolly… Thank you.
Dolly hugged her friend, feeling great happiness she was safe.
Sora: It's funny, really. Me and Dolly looked everywhere for the two of you…
Dolly: (Picking up what he was saying) But when in fact you both were with all along.
The friends shared a good chuckle over the situation.
Sora: Now, it's time to get Riku back.
Dolly: Sorry, Roxy. I have to join Sora.
Roxy: I understand. Be careful.
Kairi was worried.
Kairi: You think it'll ever be the same again between us? Riku's lost his…
Sora, still smiling, decided to be positive.
Sora: When me and Dolly turned into Heartless, you and Roxy saved us, remember?
Dolly: Yeah, we were lost in a sea of darkness. Neither of us could find our way.
Sora: Dolly's right. As we stumbled through the dark, we started forgetting things: My friends, who we were, our families.
Dolly: Yeah, it almost swallowed us whole.
Sora: Then we heard a voice. Both of your voices. You and Roxy brought us back, Kairi.
Kairi: (Smiling again) I didn't want to just forget about you, Sora. I couldn't. And I know Roxy felt the same way about you, Dolly.
Roxy nodded in agreement on Kairi's statement. Suddenly, Sora thought of something.
Sora: That's it. Our hearts are connected. And the light from our hearts broke through the darkness. We saw that light.
Dolly: That's what saved us.
Sora: Yeah. No matter how deep the darkness, a light shines within. I guess it's more than just a fairy tale.
Kairi, now inspired, was ready.
Kairi: Well, let's go!
Sora: You and Roxy can't go.
Kairi: Why not?
Roxy spoke up.
Roxy: We can't fight the way they do.
Sora: Roxy's right. It's way too dangerous.
Kairi wanted to argue but realized Sora wouldn't be alone. He has his friends and she'll be with them in spirit. She handed Sora a hand made star with a smiling face on it.
Kairi: Take this. It's my lucky charm. Be sure to bring it back to me.
Sora: I will. I promise.
Kairi smiled, knowing Sora will keep the promise.
Kairi: Don't ever forget. Wherever you go, I'm always with you.
Roxy: And I with you, Dolly.
Sora's hand shine bright and a new Keyblade appeared. The guards were two angel wings, the blade was two silver rods with a light shine as the key teeth, and Kairi's lucky charm was the Keychain token. This was the Oathkeeper Keyblade. Elsewhere, Riku was on a dark path. He felt himself slipping but refused to give in, not until he sees his friends again. Out of nowhere, he heard the same voiceless speech Sora and Dolly heard, telling him to stay strong. Remembering his friend, Riku smiled and forged ahead.
