Chapter Two

Johnny Law

It's been ten years since that fateful meeting with the Grand Servant from another world offered to help in training Lily in becoming a suitable host for the divine spirit known as Artoria Pendragon. During those ten years, Artoria has been teaching the human everything that she had known throughout the years she had lived. Ranging from basic stuff like math, writing, reading, magic, science, combat training, etc. In exchange, Lily tried her best to inform the Grand Servant about her knowledge of the world by going to certain libraries in the city of Musutafu Japan, magazines, newspapers, and TV when they walk by some stores that give out some source of information from the television. The Grand Servant had mixed feelings around the idea of people using quirks to become heroes for fame and glory...it was almost downright insulting for the most part. Of course, some humans do it to help others out, but for those who are doing it for fame, glory, and/or money, she would hate and had no issue killing them for that. But alas, it was not her place to judge for the most part or deliver her brand of punishment for dealing with people like that. All she could do was watch and help if needed.

From Lily's perspective, living on her own didn't seem so bad for the most part. The training she was doing pretty much filled out the boredom for the most when it came to studying. But what got her blood pumping would have to be the combat training Artoira had her do. With starting small like killing small rats and wild dogs magical projectile attacks, or with makeshift swords, spears, and bows made out of metal, wood, and strings. Mainly as a means of food due to her being a child at the time and having limited combat skills. Over time as her skills were improving, her targets changed from small animals to fighting/killing off thugs, thieves, and Yakuza gang members.

"It's hard to believe that it's been about ten years since I agreed to do this." Lily said as she was on top of a very tall building. "This has to be some kind of dream or something...right?"

"No dream child. All of what you're doing and seeing is real. You have been progressing rather quickly in development. Then again, you have magic circuits within yourself thanks to me augmenting your soul and body."

"Will the magic circuits leave once you're gone?"

"No, they're a part of your very being. Your soul as they say. Though if you were to have an offspring of some kind, then that person will get their own, and so on."

"...Good to know...I think?" Lily said before jumping off the building and beginning to float into the air. "I'm kind of glad that my quirks revolve around flight. I always wanted to see how birds fly...so far I'm enjoying it."

"Have you given that quirk a name?"

"Don't know what to call it. All I can do is fly around in the air. Though I'm only using it for travel purposes, emergency escapes, or flying enemies."

"Smart choice. Remember, having a quirk is good and all. But you must not rely on it for everything. That goes for magic and your powers as a Pseudo-Servant. From what I've noticed and seen. Heroes rely too much on their quirks that they've forgotten how to use their bodies. It is why I've been teaching you hand-to-hand combat with your fist and weapons."

"When you put it like that, you're not wrong...It kind of makes me feel ashamed to be a human."

"Do not be ashamed of who you are or the race you come from. Humans may not be perfect, but they can make themselves better than how they are now. An example of that would be you. You came from nothing, and now you're something. No?"

"Yeah...you're right," Lily said as a smile came across her face. "So what are we going to do tonight?"

"We need to stock up on supplies. But you'll have to be careful. You're pretty much being hunted by a lot of heroes that aren't too keen on you taking the lives of the criminals that you killed to protect people that couldn't fight back."

"Yeah...should've worn something to cover my face with at the time," Lily said before landing in front of a grocery store. "Thank god you taught me how to read and speak Japanese."

"It's useful to be able to speak multiple languages. Mainly because you should know when someone is talking badly behind your back and you can counter them by speaking their language."

"It was worth it seeing the expression on the people's faces when they did that." She said before entering the store. Upon entering the store, she noticed that some of the people were looking at her with mixed expressions on their faces ranging from shock from some of the adults, surprised by the teens and children as they took pictures of her and disgusted looks from the elderly.

"Do you want to go through the store with this much attention drawn to you?"

"I've been eating rats, wild dogs, birds, and lord knows what else that would've killed normal people overtime for the first five years. I am going to get some meat, vegetables, and dessert to eat." Lily said before looking at the people. "Hey, I'm only here to get what I need and I'll be out of your hair in no time. So please don't call any heroes here, lest you want this store to get damaged by me escaping," she said only for one of the employees to run off towards the back of the store. From what she can guess, that man was calling either the police or a hero.

"You should've realized that some wouldn't listen to what you have to say. You're a villain in their eyes." Artoria said as Lily deadpans. Her body began to glow as it showed off the magic circuit lines in her legs as she went to pick up her usual items. Mainly ground beef & pork, lettuce, apples, hamburger buns, and two boxes of cheesecake. In a matter of seconds, she returns to the front of the store with the items that she collected.

"H-Hey! You didn't pay for that!"

"Look down lady," Lily said as the female employee looked down to see the money in front of the checkout she was standing in. So soon began to count it only to notice that it was way beyond the amount needed to pay. "You can keep whatever is left if you want. I have too much on me anyway." She said before placing the items in her backpack before walking off.

"Not bad for using mana burst to get in and out of the store."

"I just want to get what I need and not have to deal with any heroes hunting me down and tracking me to where I live."

"Yeah, because living in a giant mansion made out of cardboard boxed in an abandoned factory won't come across as suspicious?" Artoria asked which caused Lily to blush in embarrassment.

"I-I was going through a phase and I was ten at the time making it! Don't judge me on my life c-" Before the young girl could finish her statement she felt a hand being placed on her shoulder. Lily turns her head to the side to see a rather tall woman wearing a red dress with chin-length blonde hair, which is swept back with a headband, a long fringe over the right side of her face, covering her eye. "-choices...shit."

"Language you lady," Ryukyu said as she forcefully turned Lily around to face her as a stern expression dawned on her face. "Lily Lilac, aka, the villain killer."

"Seriously? That's what I'm being called?" Lily said with a slightly disappointed tone in her voice. "I was kind of hoping for a much better nickname than that."

"This is no laughing matter, kid. You've been placed on the wanted list for multiple killings of criminals, battery and assault on low-rank heroes, property damage, illegal use of a quirk, avoiding and running from police, and stealing & mugging."

"Huh, and I figure there would be more to it than that."

"The list goes on of what you've been doing for the past year. But I would recommend coming with me if you don't want to cause trouble."

"Yeah, not happening," Lily said as she turned around to walk off, only to stop as she saw a rather tall, sturdily-built man with a very muscular physique. He has short crimson hair which was spiked up around his head and sharp turquoise eyes. His beard and mustache appear to be made of fire. "...You know, I should've bought some chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers to make smores."

"It would be wise to surrender, kid. You should know that you're outmatched and outnumbered." The man said as Lily simply rolled her eyes before looking over at Ryukyu.

"You want to do this lady? Not going to lie, it will only end in pain, misery, and your pride being shot."

"A bit overconfident aren't you kid? You do know who we are, right?"

"Nope, but even if I did. That wouldn't change what's about to happen." Lily said before placing her backpack off the side as she looked around at the people gathering around them. "Everyone that isn't a hero or whatever, get the fuck away from here to a safe distance. Less you get caught up in the fight that's about to happen!" She yelled which caused a lot of people to keep a safe distance from where Lily and the pro heroes were standing. This took the two heroes by surprise as they turned their focus onto her. "I may be a villain in your eyes. But I'm not that much of an idiot to make sure to not get people involved in a fight. Now, are you two sure you want to do this?"

"Child, we have more experience than you. This will be a one-sided fight if anything." Endeavor said with a smirk on his face.

"Alright then, but don't say I didn't warn you two." She said before going into the middle of the street. Once there she gets into a fight stance as the circuit lines in her arms and legs begin to glow. As her arms and legs were being enhanced, Endeavor would be the first to throw the first punch.

"Flash Fire Fist: Jet Burn!" He yelled after bringing his fist back and fired off a beam of fire at Lily. Moments from hitting her, she quickly vanishes from his and Ryukyu's sight for a moment as she sees the kid appear crouching on the ground in front of Endeavor. Once in front of him, she quickly delivered a powerful punch to his stomach as he was sent flying backward into the door of a nearby parked car.

"Endeavor!" Ryukyu yelled as she soon quickly transformed into her dragon form. In that form she locked eyes with Lily for a moment before vanishing from her sight again. She started to scan the area where the kid was. It was when she felt something on her shoulder when she found her.

"You know, being that big isn't going to help you in fighting me," Lily said as she quickly jumped into the air to avoid being grabbed by Ryukyu and landed on her head. "If anything, it just makes you an easy target and slows you down speed-wise. Of course for anyone without skills or quirks to counter it you can take them down." She said before jumping again to avoid being grabbed again. "But when it comes to those that have the means to counter it." The Pseudo-servant appeared in front of the woman's face. Once in front of her, she quickly summoned a dull-colored sword as she delivered an earth-shattering strike to her face with the flat part of her longsword. The moment it made contact it caused Ryukyu to stagger backward and fall onto her back on the street. "You're an easy target to take down." Just as she was about to land, Lily quickly spun around in the air to avoid Endeavor's jet burn attack as she charged at him. She continued to dodge his attack while trying to close the distance between the two. Once she was close, the bunny girl delivered a solid punch to his face but wasn't effective due to not having much power behind it. The moment she felt the area she punched heated up, the Pseudo Servant pulled herself back at the last second as a burst of flames erupted from Endeavor's body.

As she pulled herself back, she saw Ryukyu pulling herself up and lunging at her. Lily quickly performed a barrel roll to the side to avoid the dragon hero's grasp. Before she could perform a counterattack, she quickly did another barrel roll to the right to avoid a beam of fire heading towards her as it hit a nearby sign and quickly melted into molten metal.

"For a hero who's supposed to not kill people, you're sure doing a poor job at holding back."

"Dealing with a murderer like you. I'm not holding anything back!" He said as she noticed the tip of his fingers glowing as unleashed a stream of concentrated fire beams as he swung his hands around as if clawing at the air. "Flash Fire Fist: Hell Spider!" he yelled as the attack made its way over to her.

"Crap, not good!"

"Stay calm. Remember what I taught you. Use your magic to heighten your senses so you can see his movements." Artoria said as Lily took a deep breath and focused her magic on her eyes. The magic circuits that led towards her eyes started to glow as she noticed the oncoming attack slowing down. "Good, now go." Lily took a step backward before all the magic circuits in her legs lit up. Once they were fully lit, she soon took up a runner's stance before launching herself at Endeavor's attack. The moment she saw the whip of fire she quickly used her flight quirk to move underneath, the next one she moved above it, and then the third one to the side.

"Dammit, just what kind of quirk does this girl have?" Endeavor thought as he noticed the girl closing the distance as she continued to dodge his hell spider attack. Once Lily was within range, she quickly charged toward him. She brought her sword up as the tip of it became flat as it collided with Endeavor's abdomen. The man let out a gasp of air and spit from the force behind the thrust but was still standing. "Y-You think that's going to stop me!?"

"No, but I think this will," Lily said as the energy started to gather into her sword. It gave off a dark purplish glow for a moment before she fired off a beam of concentrated energy from it. The force behind it sent Endeavor flying backward like a rocket as the force behind Endeavor being sent flying caused a lot of glass windows to buildings, cars, and light fixtures to shatter. In a matter of seconds, they would hear the sound of water splashing followed by water shooting up into the air. "Oh thank god, he landed in the water." She said before looking over at Ryukyu who was staring at her in shock at what she did. "Okay...so I'm going to go now. Hope I never have to see you again anytime soon...bye." She said before running off.

"H-Hey, get back here!" Ryukyu yelled as she quickly ran after lily.

Roughly two hours have passed since Lily was able to escape Ryukyu trailing after. One of the perks of being on the street for a good five to six years was that she memorized the layout of alleyways and manhole covers that lead from the city to the abandoned factory. Normally it would've only taken her minutes to lose a hero or two, but seeing how this one was a league above the rest, she had to make sure she didn't find her secret pathway that led back to her home. The bunny girl slowly lifted the manhole cover that led towards the abandoned factory to see if there was anyone around. To her relief, there wasn't anyone near or around as she quickly pulled herself out of the sewers.

"Geez, I didn't think I would have to run for that long. Doesn't help that I used some magic to send Endeavor flying, but it's annoying when you have a human that can turn into a dragon and chase after from both land and air."

"I'm a bit surprised that humans have powers to do that without the need for magic."

"Well if a guy can have a fire made out of hair, I'm pretty sure a woman transforming into a dragon falls under the category of possibility," Lily said as she began to make her way into the factory. "Anyway, let's just get inside and eat. Today has been a total buzzkill." She said before noticing two people standing in front of her cardboard box mansion home. She knew the one on the left was All Might, mainly from the newspaper and television, but she didn't know who the mouse person was.

"Oh, hello. You must be Lily Lilac, correct?" said Nezu "Sorry if we're intruding on your lovely home. But would it be okay if we can have a little work with you? That is if you're willing to?" The young girl blinked upon seeing them for a moment before looking outside. The moment she did that, she noticed that there were a lot of police cars and some pro-heroes standing outside.

"Artoria, you think I can make a run for it?" Lily mentally asked as she felt the Grand Servant shake her head before speaking.

"Let's hear them out first. Mainly because even if you were to do that you have a lot of your stuff in there, that I know would be a pain to start over." She said which caused Lily to sigh in annoyance before nodding and motioning for the mouse and muscular man to follow her inside.

"Follow me...I'll make you some tea or something."
