Chapter Sixteen

Physical Check up

Lily let out a sigh of annoyance as She, Mina, and Mineta were inside Recovery Girl's office. It wasn't the fact that she was forced to be in this room, nor was it the fact that Hound Dog was able to track her around the school for the entire lunch period, but having Midnight and Aizawa in the room to prevent her from leaving or doing anything else besides sitting on a chair while the nurse examines Mina was what got her annoyed.

"Might've been a bad idea to say that I was the cause of Mina's sudden change." Lily thought as she heard Artoria speak up.

"Well, you didn't want her to get in trouble. And even if you were to say that it was due to her quirk evolving, you know sooner or later, he would've suspected that you had something to do with that."

"...Fair point. But at least it would've given us a window to continue being normal high school students."

"...Define a normal high school student? Because this school is anything but normal given how they have quirks…I still find the name awful to describe having superpowers." She said before noticing Mineta leaving the area where he was being examined and making his way over to Lily. "Looks like Mineta is done with his examination."

"So far, there isn't anything out of the ordinary with you. Should something happen, please come by here and I'll examine you again so I can document it." She said before looking over at

"Mina, you're up." Recovery Girl said after popping her head from behind the curtain she was examining from. Mina nodded as she made her way over to her and closed the curtain behind her. The moment she was inside, Aizawa motioned for Mineta to leave the room. He looked over at Lily with a worried expression on his face as she simply nodded and smiled at him. Indicating that she was going to be okay. He smiles back as he leaves the room.

"We heard about what happened in the cafeteria." Midnight said as Lily rolled her eyes. "I take the money you have from your time on the streets as a vigilante, correct?"

"And if it was, what are you planning on doing about it?" Lily asked as Aizawa spoke up.

"Given what Hound Dog mentions of what the briefcase looks like. You stole it from the Yakuza. Which means you're going to have to hand it over so that the proper authority can deal with it."

"When hell freezes over, then I'll hand it over. But seeing how that's not happening, hell no."

"You don't have much of a choice in the matter."

"Pretty sure I do. Seeing how you don't know where the money is." She said as Midnight reached into her tail, only to let out a yelp and quickly pull it out after feeling a surge of pain and the sound of something snapping. Upon pulling her hand out, her fingers were caught in a mousetrap. Midnight glared at Lily who in return gave the R-rated hero a smirk. "Wanna try that again? I'm sure you'll be able to get it if you just try hard enough~"

"This is serious, Lily. That money doesn't belong to you, it belongs to the people that need it." Midnight said as Lily snatched the mouse trap from off of her hand and placed it back into her tail.

"Like the man that ran the orphanage I was in when I went to him and asked for help when I broke my finger, tough shit." She said before leaning back in the chair she was in. "Tell you what, I'll give you a chance to get the money back from me."

"What do you mean?" Midnight asked while rubbing her injured hand.

"If any of you pro heroes can beat me in a fight, then I'll fork over the briefcase. But should I win, I get to keep the money, you don't bring it up ever again, and I get to skip out on the whole writing aspect of this school and focus on training. Deal?"

"No deal," Aizawa said with a stern expression on his face. "I don't think you understand the situation you're in. With just one phone call, you'll be put into Tartarus for the crimes you committed over the past ten years. What makes you think you have a say in anything in this conversation."

"Because if you were to call the police or whoever is in charge of you heroes, I'll be long gone before you fuckers could track me down. If you think I was a pain to find before, imagine how hard it will be when I go into hiding again. Hell, I could even leave and hide out in a different country. It can't be that hard to change the currency I have collected over the years to match a different country's currency, no?" Lily said as she could sense the malice coming from both Aizawa and Midnight. "Oh, I can sense the anger coming from you both~"

"...You're a monster." Midnight said as Lily rolled her eyes.

"And you're a bunch of prejudiced assholes who don't really care about my well-being, but only care if I'm a productive member of this hero society." She said with a smug grin on her face. "Now, do we have a deal?"

"...Fine," Aizawa said as Midnight was taken by surprise from him, agreeing. "If it'll make her less annoying, then having someone knock her down a peg or two will show her she's not some entitled brat."

"Oh, I'm pretty sure that's Bakugo's department of being a brat. I'm being an ass because I don't trust you, heroes."

"We let you into our school so you can become a hero. It should be enough to trust us."

"We? Bitch you weren't there when All Might and Nezu gave me the offer to join this school. Don't give me this crap when you already said you dislike me from the first time we met yesterday. I'll give Midnight some credit for trying to get me to open up this morning, which I made it hard for her to do seeing how I'm not going to make it easy, but you…what have you done to warrant me to trust you?" She asked as Aizawa said nothing. "Yeah, that's what I thought. So I'm going to be a pain in all you fuckers that were against me joining this school. I'm pretty sure every teacher in this school besides All Might and Nezu."

"...I'll leave you to watch over her," Aizawa said to Midnight as he left the room. "I have informed the principal about this."

"And don't even think about telling some half-truth, half-lie crap! Because this conversation is being recorded!" She yelled as the door closed behind Aizawa as he left.

"Why must you be so difficult?" Midnight asked. "Can't you see that we want to help you?"

"I'm doing this because I want to see how far you so-called heroes will go to help my ass. Are you just saying it so you can find a weakness to take advantage of so you can mold me into a hero to your liking? Planning something behind my back so you can take me to jail, or will someone come and try to kill me."

"We would never do-"

"That's the thing. If the government were to order you to do it, you would without a second thought." Lily said as Midnight flinched from her statement. "That flinch was all I needed to see to know that I'm right. You're not heroes, just people with the title that hide what they are. Dogs for the government." She said before noticing Mina walking out of the area she was being examined in. "So, is there anything wrong with Mina?"

"I'll have to look over her blood work along with yours. But physically, she's okay…at least from what I'm going by right now." Recovery Girl said as she looked over at Mina. "Just like with Mineta. If something happens, be sure to come to me and I'll help as best as I can." She said as Mina nodded and made her way over to Lily.

"Looks like I'm up. Wish me luck." Lily said as she saw Mina smile and give her a thumbs-up as a means to boost her confidence. The pseudo servant gave her a weak smile before heading off into the area where Mina and Mineta were examined. While Lily was busy being examined by Recovery Girl, from a tall building distance away from the school. A woman with long pink hair with fox-like features wearing a black coat was watching her from a distance with a pair of binoculars. She soon locked onto Mina as she eyed the pink girl up and down for a moment before looking back at Lily. Next to her was a tall man wearing what appears to be that of a man of the cloth to a church with a cross hanging around his neck.

"I take it you found the Grand Servant?" Rasputin asked as Koyanskaya nodded.

"More like two of them. The chills I'm getting from them confirm it. Hard to believe that divine spirits can be summoned as Grand Servants. Must be because of the planet or something weird with this planet's magic." She said before putting the binoculars away.

"They don't seem to be a threat to my plan. At least not yet. I'm pretty sure you can handle them without any problems."

"We're not going to kill them...at least not yet. We can use them to deal with the other beasts that choose not to side with us that have been summoned into this world."

"You mean Goetia, Mara, and Tiamat?" She asked as Rasputin nodded. "I figured as much...it would be a problem if The Prime Minister revealed her true self to this world. Especially after I painfully made this system just to make the humans weak enough to conquer later on."

"Hence why it would be wise to keep them alive so that they can kill them." He said before walking off.

"Where are you going?"

"Until the beasts are dead. I will be exploring this world's version of human heroes. You're free to do as you please so long as you don't kill the girls." He said before vanishing. As the Pseudo Servant left, Koyanskaya turned her attention at the school of U.A as a devilish grin appeared on her face.

"He said I couldn't kill the girls, but that doesn't mean I can't have a little fun with them~," She said before vanishing into bits of stardust.

Five hours…that's how long Lily had been in Recovery Girl's office. Originally it was meant to be a physical check-up. But seeing how Recovery Girl didn't have or couldn't find any information on the bunny girl, she had to gather said information on the spot. She collected everything on the girl, her name, age, quirk, height, weight, blood samples, Breast size, etc. Needless to say, she found it annoying, but at least she didn't have to return to class. By the time they were done, the sun was setting outside and the bell rang, indicating that school was over.

"Okay dear, I think that's enough for today. Sorry, it took so long, but you're pretty much a blank slate." Recovery Girl said as Lily started putting her clothes on.

"It's fine. Sooner or later it had to be done…About what happened yesterday. I want to apologize."

"No need. Given what you said to Midnight and Aizawa, I kind of figured you have a bit of distrust towards heroes." She said as she noticed a bit of a shameful expression on Lily's face. "Now, now, no need to be shameful about the way you feel. It's quite common for people to not trust each other off the bat like that. Plus you didn't hurt me, so it's fine."

"Well, that's good to know. I'll be off then." Lily said as she left the area she was being examined in but soon noticed that Midnight and Mina were gone. She could only guess that Mina went home and Midnight was either waiting for her at the house, busy doing school-related stuff, or hero work. Not that Lily didn't mind being alone, more time to herself and for her to make gemstones. Though her attention was soon locked onto the door as it opened. Entering the room was Aizawa as Lily deadpans at him in annoyance.

"I take it you're done with your check-up?"

"What do you think?" Lily asked as Aizawa rolled his eyes and motioned for Lily to follow him.

"Nezu wants to have a word with you." He said as Lily followed after him. "It would be wise to give up the money before it's too late."

"Then are you going to provide me with money that can last me a lifetime?"

"Getting a job and working for a living might help you with that. Instead of taking the easy way out, you should learn to take pride in earning your money."

"Oh I do take pride, but unlike you who pretty much lived the easy life with friends and family, I never grew up with that kind of stuff. You can think of me as a degenerate or scum of the country all you want, but unless you know what it's like to live on the streets, barely being acknowledged due to being a foreigner, eating nothing but rats and dogs, and having to keep one eye open just so you don't get butt fucked while you're asleep or god forbids having your organ taken out, then you no right to judge me on how I live my life prick."

"While I don't understand what that must be like, you're no longer in that environment anymore, so you should change the way you think. Using that as an excuse isn't going to fly here."

"Spoken like an asshole." She said while continuing to follow after Aizawa. Within a matter of minutes, the two would be standing outside of Nezu's office as Aizawa opens the door for them to enter. The moment Lily entered the room, she noticed All Might, Hound Dog, and Midnight standing in the room next to Nezu's desk.

"Ah good. You're here." Nezu said as Lily took a seat on the couch. "I know it's only the second day, but I hope you're doing okay for your second day in school."

"Wouldn't be so bad if the slut rated hero and bad breath Mcgee followed around like I'm a convict" She said before looking over at Aizawa. "There's also Aizawa's asshat personality, but other than that, this school isn't so bad. Better than living on the streets for the most part."

"That's good to hear. Now, do you know why you're here?"

"I told Aizawa and Midnight this, but I'm not handing over the money unless you can beat me in a fight."

"Young Lilac. While I may not know the hardship you've gone through, you must know that the money that you have isn't yours to keep. Money like that can help someone in need. Like hospitals, research centers, and repairs towards important agencies that need repairs." All Might said as a bored expression dawned on Lily's face, only to feel Aizawa smack her upside her head.

"Pay attention, what he's saying is important."

"...You get a free shot with that smack. Next time you hit, I will throw you through a wall."

"You think it's wise to make a threat like that in front of pro heroes?" Hound Dog said as he glared at the pseudo servant.

"Oh that's not a threat, it's a promise that I will keep if he smacks me upside my head again," Lily said before looking back at All Might. "That is true, the money could help with stuff like that. But I choose not to do that."

"If you're worried about financial problems, I can help you with-"

"No offense Nezu, but keep in mind that I don't trust you or the other heroes in this school. Just like I said to Midnight and Aizawa, you haven't given me a reason to trust you. And providing me with a place in this school doesn't count. I'll give Midnight credit for her attempt to get to know me, but everyone else. Yeah, it'll be a cold day in hell before I hand over the money."

"Hm…I see. So nothing I say will change your mind on this matter?"

"Pretty much."

"Is there a reason why you want to fight?"

"Because words are meaningless to me," Lily answered as she leaned back on the couch she was on. "Words nowadays are nothing more than hollow empty promises. People promise to do this and that, but they never follow through. You want me to take you seriously, you want me to place my trust in you, then you show me with your fist, not with hollow empty words."

"...And if we win, will you do as agreed upon by Aizawa?"

"Oh I will, but that also means you'll have to agree to my part of the deal as well. Oh and don't try to pretend that this conversation didn't happen, because we're being recorded via recording device in my tail." She said before noticing Hound Dog taking a step forward, only for Midnight to stop him.

"Alright, if that is what you want, then I'll allow it," Nezu said after letting out a sigh of disappointment. "You'll have three days to prepare yourself before your match begins."

"Alright, and who am I going to fight?"

"That'll be up for us to decide. Though there are a few rules that you'll have to follow." Nezu said as Lily raised an eyebrow at her. "You can't kill them, you're not allowed to use your sword, you can't use gemstones to heal yourself or to increase your abilities, and you can't those beam attacks you used on Bakugo."

"Anything else?"

"That is all. You're free to leave." He said as Lily pulled herself up from the couch she was on and began making her way out of his office. The moment she left, she felt Artoria appear on her shoulder while she was walking down the hallway.

"They're going to have you fight against a hero by the name of Mount Lady and Ryukyu."

"...I know who Ryukyu is, but Mount lady? What kind of name is that?"

"One that can turn herself into a giant. They were going to have you fight against All Might, but from what I was able to read from their minds, they want to put some fear in you so that you'll learn about humility and not be overconfident in yourself."

"Makes sense as to why they placed those rules on me. But I can work around it."

"How so?"

"Well they say I couldn't use my sword or gemstones that increase my abilities…they didn't say I couldn't use a normal sword or any of my offensive stones in the fight," Lily said with a grin on her face. "It's even better knowing that I'll be fighting against a giant."

"You're planning on using her as an example?"

"That would depend on how her attitude is during the fight. Just like with Ryukyu, they may have size on their side when dealing with a normal criminal with little to no combat skills, but they're not dealing with a common criminal. They're dealing with me."

"You have three days to prepare yourself. I suggest you take the necessary actions by Friday."

"I need to make either a new sword or use the lance as my main weapon…Think I'll use the lance on Ryukyu and the sword on Mount Lady."

"Just remember that you need to keep on your toes. You never know if they're planning something in the shadows if you're about to win the fight."

"Noted." She said before reaching into her tail to pull out a can of soda and began to drink it once she opened it. "Mina and the others are going to freak out when I tell them about what happened today."
