Chapter Seventeen

Goddess of The Moon

Nighttime fell upon the city of Musutafu as a purple ball-haired boy was currently at home in his room flipping between pictures of sexy girls on his phone. As he was flipping through his phone, the young man stopped on a picture of Lily that he took while she wasn't looking. A thought came into his head about the bunny girl. What made Lily the way she is now. Sure she told him a small fraction of her past, but something didn't add up to him. Sure training her own would make sense as to how strong she became...but without help, how could Lily be able to use her quirk in a way that could modify her body to shoot lasers, summon a sword & armor, and create knight-like creatures out of metal and those gemstones to increase a person's physical abilities. Could she have had help from this Artoria person that Lily mentioned that healed her which he picked up from listening to her explanation? Or was she some kind of top-secret government experiment that was tossed away? Regardless, he along with Momo, Uraraka, and Kaminari decided to investigate Lily a bit more as time went on with each conversation they'll have with her. But that will have to wait, right now he is going to relax until school tomorrow. Though that will have to wait as he felt someone flop onto the bed next to him.

"Hey there, squirt, how's it going?" She said as Mineta looked over to his right and saw a woman with the same hair features as his, though the balls on her head would be in the shape of pigtails, she was wearing a blue colored sweater with her shoulder exposed, tight black pants, and purple slippers on her feet. She was the same height as Midnight, with a thick figure, and had a tan color to her skin. The woman soon noticed a picture of Lily on his phone as a grin appeared on her face. Mineta noticed the expression on her face as he quickly closed his phone. But it was too late, he knew what was going to happen next. "Oh…I didn't know you were into those kinds of women~!"

"Mom I swear to god-" Before he could finish, he heard the sound of footsteps heading towards his room. A sense of dread came over him as he looked over at the doorway to see a muscular white-skinned woman with short red hair with a pair of cat ears and tail. She had on a black colored long sleeve shirt, blue daisy do shorts and red and black socks that reached up to her knees.

"Monica, pass the phone!" She said as the woman snatched his phone and tossed it over to her.

"Paula no!" Mineta yelled as he tried to tackle her, only for Monica to tackle him to the ground and pin him. "No fair! You have a better character development than I do!" He said as Paula opened his phone as she saw the pic he was looking at.

"Hey, isn't she the villain killer that the heroes labeled her as?" She asked as Mineta looked away with a slight blush on his face. "I'm a bit surprised that they allow her into U.A. Given her track record…Wait…are you friends with her?"

"...Am I in trouble if I say yes."

"Are you kidding me? Why would we be mad at you?" Monica asked as she released her hold on Mineta. "We're kind of glad that you made a friend."

"Yeah, we were kind of worried given what happened in Middle School. I know it's hard to try and put yourself out there and make friends, but I can see that you made a friend, and it's a girl…think you might be willing to date her later on?"

"Mom, Lily's just a friend…I'm pretty sure she's…straight?" Mineta said as he pondered Lily's sexuality. "I'll have to ask her about that tomorrow, but I see her as a friend."

"With benefit?" Paula asked as she noticed Mineta looking away, causing the cat girl to grin. "Haha! Like mother like son~"

"Is there a reason why you two are in my room!" Mineta yelled as his face burned bright red with embarrassment.

"We just wanted to see how you were doing and wanted to give you a heads up that we ordered pizza for tonight," Monica said as she noticed Mineta was about to speak but cut him off. "Don't worry, we got you the bacon and pepperoni for toppings."

"And I take it you two got the meat lovers?"

"What can we say, we love having a nice piping hot meat in my-"

"TMI!" Mineta yelled as He lightly pushed Monica out of his room. "Let me know when the pizza guy or girl is here and I'll get my food. Now please leave my room."

"So you can masturbate to that picture of that Lily girl~?" Paula said as it caused Mineta to deadpan her before he slammed the door on her. She could hear them both laughing as they headed back downstairs. The pros and cons of having two gay moms that are just as lewd as he is. Of course, he didn't mind Monica and Paula teasing him from time to time, which makes it less of an issue when he says something that isn't appropriate to say around other girls. He soon lets out a sigh as he flops onto the bed. Just as he was about to turn the TV on, he noticed a black and blue butterfly floating in the room

"Huh…never seen anything like this before," Mineta said as he slowly lifted his hand towards the butterfly as it landed on his index finger. "Oh man, I gotta take a picture of it before it flies away." He said as he slowly reached for his cellphone trying not to scare the butterfly away. Though as he did this, he saw the butterfly sink into his hand as the young man felt himself slipping into unconsciousness. His body felt heavy, his vision became blurry, and the world around him got dark. Just as his vision was about to fade, he saw someone making their way over to him. He looked up to see a woman with white long hair, a black and blue dress, and some kind of visor covering her eyes that gave off a rather moonlight glow. The woman kneels at Mineta and places a hand on his face.

"Don't worry, I'll bring you back once I'm done. For now, just relax and sleep for a bit." She said as Mineta's vision faded into darkness.

Mineta let out a small groan as he slowly began to wake up. The moment his vision became more clear, he found himself in space. He blinked upon seeing where he was as he looked around. So far he saw the Moon on his left and the earth on his right. It took him a good thirty seconds to realize what was going on as he started to freak out and panic that he was in space. He also realized that since he was in space, he couldn't breathe. Mineta quickly covered his mouth and held his breath as a means to save whatever oxygen was inside his lungs. Before his mind became even more frantic than it already was, he felt a pair of arms wrap around his neck, in a gentle and caring way. He felt the fear he was feeling slowly fading away as it was replaced with a calming and relaxing sensation.

"Calm down. You are in no danger." The voice said as Mineta looked up to see a pair of boobs blocking his field of vision…well it wasn't like he didn't mind it, but he was a bit curious as to who it was that brought him to this place. He felt the woman pull him away as they were not facing each other. "Don't be afraid, I mean you no harm~"

"...Did I die and go to heaven… if I did, then I wouldn't have any problem being taken away by an angel like you~" Mineta said as the woman tilted her head in confusion for a moment before realizing what he said.

"Oh, I see. That is a pickup line that humans use to compliment a woman who is pretty." She said before releasing her hold on Mineta as he floated in front of her. "Interesting, much as I would love to know more about the humans of this world. I will have to hold off on it after I'm done explaining." The woman said as she cleared her throat. "Now, you're wondering as to why you're here, correct?" She asked as she noticed Mineta staring at her…more specifically, her breast. "Um, excuse me, darling."

"Gah! Sorry! Please don't slap me or throw me out a window!" Mineta yelled as he quickly cowered in fear while covering his face.

"I…can't do that…well not that I couldn't but I wouldn't due to how we're in space." She said before presenting the vast cosmos they're in.

"Oh…right…wait a minute. We're in space!? How is this even possible!? More importantly, how am I able to breathe!?" Mineta asked as the woman chuckled at his reaction.

"That would be because of me." She said before bowing to Mineta. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Artemis, The Shooter-Type Interstellar Fighter Craft of the Olympiamachia."

"Wait…so you're like an alien from another world?"

"In a sense, I am. But I'm more of a goddess in a sense." Artemis said as she placed a hand to her chin for a moment before floating around him. "I have been summoned to this planet as it is in danger of a threat of being that will destroy it."

"Wait, what do you mean by that?" Mineta asked as Artemis summoned seven images of the Beasts as Goetia, Tiamat, and Mara were the only ones visible to the young man.

"These monsters are known as The Beast. These evils of humanity are what will bring an end to this planet and all of humanity as you know it." She said as Mineta smirked.

"I wouldn't worry so much about them. If you haven't noticed, this planet is full of strong heroes that can take on these beasts without so much of a problem." Mineta said as she casually lay back in a relaxing position. "We even have the number one hero to protect us. So we have nothing to worry about."

"...I…wouldn't be too sure about that," Artemis said as she moved a bit closer to Mineta. "There's a lot of things that this planet isn't prepared for, and there's a lot of things that your country isn't telling you about."

"What do you mean?"

"I would go into details about it, but I don't think you're not ready for the truth. At least, I don't think I can trust you to handle the truth as of yet." She said as Mineta pulled himself up and raised an eyebrow at her. "Let me be more clear. I was summoned here by the planet itself to be one of the seven grand servants to be summoned. So far, two grand servants have been summoned. I believe you know them as Lily and Mina?"

"W-Wait a minute, how do you know Lily and Mina, and what is this Grand Servant stuff you're talking about?"

"Hm…how do I put this without sounding confusing…What legend of old have you heard of. You know, like Robin Hood, King Arthur, etc."

"Oh! I've heard of stories like that…but all that is just a bunch of myths and fantasies ."

"...I should feel offended by that…but I'll let it slide seeing how we're from different worlds. I come from a world where myths, magic, and gods are real. I am one of the gods from a lostbelt where we, the twelve machine gods lived together with humans."

"Lost…belt?"

"Lostbelts are timelines of human history that made a wrong choice. Hm, you know about a few things about human history, right?" Artemis asked as Mineta nodded. "Imagine if China took over the entire world and forced the people they conquered to follow only their rule and suppress their ability to imagine different things." She said before noticing a confused expression on Mineta's face. "Hm, perhaps something more to your understanding…imagine a world without sex. Humans are banned from reproducing, dating, or anything involving relationships that would lead to sex."

"...Oh god…that's a nightmare…no that's any man's hell!" He said before looking at Artemis. "So...if I'm getting this right. You're from a version of earth where magic is real and it's used daily, only different?"

"Yes, though different. You see, lostbelts are made because of the wrong actions that a person or country had made. That action can cause a huge effect on whether or not the timeline is the right timeline for humans to be able to survive. If it's not, then the universe will pluck it from existence."

"W-Wait a minute, what do you mean by that? Are you saying that the universe is alive or something?"

"No, the universe isn't alive. Think of it as a machine…or a gardener as most would say. The gardener's job is to make sure that the tree is manageable."

"So if I'm getting this right, Lostbelts are timelines that are made by certain people making wrong choices in life. Because of those choices, it leads to them making the timeline that they're in impossible to survive in…right?" Mineta asked as Artemis nodded. "So the universe chooses to get rid of that timeline and replace it with a much better timeline."

"Correct! I'm a bit surprised that you understood that."

"Well the whole banning of sex kind of helped…but I ended up using gaming logic. You know, like you can save a section of an area in the video game you're playing in case you wanted to do something different or change something."

"...Huh…I guess I could use that as an example of a lostbelt. Though the difference is that the lostbelt you're saving will be deleted." Artemis said as Mineta was taken by surprise by this."Lostbelts are pretty much a dead end to where there is no possibility to advance? The universe's job is to make sure that humanity follows a path of surviving. So If the universe sees a timeline that no longer has the possibility for humanity to survive in, then it simply cuts it off and lets it die off into nothingness."

"That's horrible!" Mineta yelled. "How can the universe do something like that? Doesn't it care that it's wiping out an entire civilization?"

"It doesn't do this to be evil. It does this for the greater good. The universe that I come from has multiple timelines. Some good, some bad. But they all can continue to grow and survive. Olympus, sadly, faced a dead end. There was no room or possibility for humanity to survive. If this version of Olympus and other lostbelts were to exist in the universe, then it would throw the solar system into chaos and begin to break. I shudder to think what would happen if that were to come true."

"...It's not right. Everyone has the right to live, no matter what they are. The universe shouldn't have done something like that."

"Yeah, though I don't hold anger towards the universe. I can understand it seeing how it's just doing its job for the greater good." Artemis said as she pulled Mineta into a hug as she and he drifted along the sea of stars. "Where I come from, I along with the twelve machine gods are a highly advanced alien race. Over time we've been on earth, we soon manifested into humanoid-like terminals to interact with the natives. The humans granted us names and faith, and in return, we gave them fruits of civilization. But of course, just like with all ancient civilizations, there's going to be conflict within it."

"What do you mean?"

"I know history might be different on this planet. But from the lostbelt I came from…things ended up different." Artemis said as she pulled up a digital screen of a white titan and the twelve machine gods fighting it. The Lostbelt's history diverged in 12000 BC during the invasion of the Earth by Sefar, the white titan. In the Leukosmachia Unlike what occurred in the primary history in the pan-human history, where the gods abided by the boundaries of their respective domains and subsequently had their true bodies destroyed, Zeus fused with the other Olympians against their consent, gaining their bodies and power which allowed him to stalemate and repel Sefar, at the cost of being ostracized by the other gods for his unilateral violation of their domains, even as he secured his position as their absolute leader. Because of this, The gods continued their rule, with their powers and technology eventually advancing to the point where they redefined the concept of Gods, with the use of powerful divine nanomachines known as Klironomia as their Authorities." She said before making the screen vanish.

"Whoa…so this is like a version of human history if an alien machine race came to earth?"

"Indeed."

"But wait, what caused this version of Greece to be a lostbelt?"

"There was still conflict. The Olympians managed to defeat Sefar, but when Zeus decided to expand the Age of Gods to further their reign, Hephaestus, Hades, Athena, Apollo, Hestia, Ares opposed him and got destroyed in the resulting war. Zeus survived alongside me, Poseidon, Demeter, Aphrodite, and Hera, and continued to rule the world." She said as Mineta felt her grip increase a bit. "Because he survived the war and came out victorious, all five of us were reprogrammed into following his orders. Poseidon and I were reprogrammed to serve as the defense layers of Atlantis, Demeter was forced to murder her daughter Persephone, driving her into madness, Aphrodite had her nature as the goddess of love overturned, turning her into a cold goddess who manages mankind through mental control. His wife, Hera. As a means to save, she was fused with one of his concubines named Europa. Needless to say...it's a lostbelt that I have no problem with it being destroyed."

"How long have you been under his control?"

"I…rather not say." She said as Mineta noticed an uncomfortable expression on her face and decided to change the subject.

"So you're saying that you need help saying my planet from these…Beasts, right? Why not just come to earth and ask a hero for help, or something?"

"Because I can't take on a physical form and explaining it to the humans of this planet might be hard. Especially when they might not believe someone like me, and without proof will make it even twice as hard."

"You…make a valid point."

"Hence why I need your help. Just like with the other divine spirits that have been summoned by the call of the planet, I too have been summoned. But the thing is, I need a host to be able to help this planet."

"And I've been chosen to be your host?" Mineta asked as Artemis nodded. "Why? I'm nothing special or anything. What made you choose me?"

"Hm, if I'm being honest. You remind me of a man that I found interesting. Your perverted personality, kindness, and determination to help your friend during that fight you had at the school to be specific." Artemis said as she held Mineta close. "Proper human version of me experiences this thing called love, and I want to experience it with a human I find interesting." She said before lifting Mineta so he was facing her. "Should you choose to accept my offer, I'm willing to help you in any way possible."

"Hm…I don't know…seems a bit…odd that a powerful lady like yourself would need the help of someone like me."

"If you like, I can make the same offer as the grand servant did with you at school." She said, which took Mineta by surprise by her offer. "I might be willing to even form a harem with her along with the others."

"As…tempting as that is. I would like to know a bit more about you." He said as Artemis nodded. "...Wait, others?"

"Indeed." She said before pulling up an image of Demeter and Aphrodite. "Out of the three of us, I was the one picked to be the grand servant."

"Wow, they're uber-hot…" Mineta said as he started to salivate at the idea of having a harem of hot girls to himself. But even he knew that it was impossible to do…right? "A-Again, tempting but I would like to get to know you better before doing anything like that."

"Fair enough. I'll hold off on the offer for that." She said before making the two images vanish. "Do you need time to think about my offer?"

"...Alright, I'll do it. I'll become this Grand Servant of yours." Mineta said as Artemis's smile vanished.

"Are you sure? Because upon accepting this, there's no turning back. Your life will change, be it for better or worse. It'll be you against the world. Are you sure you want to do this?" She asked as Mineta nodded.

"Can't say no to a request from a pretty lady that needs help. How can I become a hero if I were to say no and ignore the call to help. Plus I want to know what Lily is hiding, and with your help, she'll tell me everything…at least I hope she will."

"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you so much. I am forever in your debt!" Artemis said as her smile returned and pulled Mineta into a hug. His face was pressed in between the machine goddess's breast as Mineta looked up at her with a blush on his face.

"S-So are there any changes that might happen to me after accepting this?"

"Just a few changes will be made. Don't worry, it won't hurt you or anything." Artemis said before Mineta felt himself feeling sleepy once again. "Just relax and try not to freak out when you wake up, darling~" Before Mineta could speak again, he felt his vision fading into darkness as he nuzzled up against Artemis like he was holding a very soft stuffed animal. The machine goddess couldn't help but find his sleeping position adorable as she patted his head before getting to work on making his body suitable for her.
