"hey, when I'm done with my shower, do you and the other elements of harmony want to come with me to visit Flurry?"

"hello every pony, I am princess Aurora charm. I'm here to greet you and bring you to the castle"
"weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh!"
"what"
"who is that?" Hitch asked gesturing to the wingless dragon toddler grabbing Flurry's leg.
"this is Rosey, the only naturally born dragon we have" Flurry explained.
"naturally born?" Zipp questioned.
"dragons almost went extinct about four hundred years ago, we had to heat up Rosey's egg to get her to hatch. its a miracle she was even still able to hatch in the conditions we found her egg in. all the other dragons we have were born using fossils and highly advanced spells" Aurora explained.
"how many spells are there!?" Izzy asked.
"at least 5,234" Misty and Aurora said in unison.
"I'm...not even going to ask" Izzy replied.
"how old are the other dragons?" Sunny asked, stepping forward.
"we got the dragon fossils about a year ago and then we had to spend about a month figuring out the perfect spell combination to use the fossils to create life. so they're all about three to two months old" Flurry explained.
"spell combination?" Pipp questioned.
"its when a bunch of unicorns, or alicorns, cast different spells at the same time while targeting the same spot! you need a whole ton of skill to cast multiple spells at the same exact time. only two unicorns have done it before! I'm aiming to be the first alicorn to do it!" Aurora exclaimed.
"Aurora, you've got more magic in you than normal, you'd either die or get your horn cracked" Flurry replied.
"still gonna do it" Aurora grumbled.
"wait what?" Sunny asked.
"yeah, alicorns have the magic of all pony types in them, not just one. just like you Sunny!" CC explained, floating over and tapping Sunny's nose once.
"explanation?" Sunny replied.
"eh, you'll know what I mean when the type change is done" CC shrugged.
"what do you mean type change!?" Flurry cried out.
CC floated over and whispered something in Flurry's ear.
"CCake, you are devious! I thought you were Fluttershy's daughter!" Flurry laughed lightly.
"oh relax, I'll make a pamphlet. and just to remind you, I'm also the daughter of a guy who tried to take over equestria and got turned to stone, twice" CC shrugged, floating onto her back.
"what are you two hiding?" Sunny asked.
"yeah! tell us!" Zipp said, stomping her hoof.
Sparky jumped down and ran over to the toddler dragon.
"I Rosey, who you?" the toddler asked.
"he's Sparky" Hitch told the pink dragon.
"Flurry! why he got wings but I no?" Rosey asked, pulling on Flurry's leg.
"looks like a mutation, although that ones usually paired with the mutation of never going through puberty" Flurry explained.
"dragons usually get their wings during puberty" Aurora said, butting into the current conversation.
"good to know" Hitch shrugged.
"you still wanna see the crystal garden?" Aurora asked.
"sure" Sunny replied.
"I'm gonna stay here, I'd like to know more about dragons" Hitch said.
"anyone who wants to see the garden, follow me!" Aurora announced to the group, beginning to walk away.
Sunny and Pipp followed her. Sunny wanting to see what it looked like, Pipp wanting to take pretty photos.
"I'm gonna go to the market place, anyone wanting to check that out, follow me" CC said, floating in a different direction.
Izzy and Misty followed. Izzy wanting to check out the crafting supplies, Misty wanting to see the sights.
"let me guess, you two want information" Flurry said to Hitch and Zipp.
they nodded in unison.
"follow me" Flurry sighed as Hitch picked up Sparky while Rosey hopped onto his back.
the three then disappeared through the doors leading inside.
"this place is gorgeous!" Sunny exclaimed as they walked past rows of flowers, Pipp taking selfies along the way.
"evil box!" a crystal pegasus filly suddenly said, flying over the flowers and slapping the phone out of Pipp's hoof.
she gasped dramatically as the filly landed.
"Sunny, my phone!" Pipp cried, drama clear in her voice.
"I swear, if wonderbolts were still a thing, that kid would grow up to be one" Aurora muttered under her breath as the filly ran off.
"who are the wonderbolts?" Sunny asked, having picked up on the sentence.
"the wonderbolts were a group of pegasi who basically did a bunch of really cool flying. they were very, very, popular. up until the crystals separated and magic left. a lot of pegasi were injured" Aurora explained, her voice turning to a whisper at the end.
"why?" Pipp whimpered upon seeing the screen of her phone was cracked.
the screen then was suddenly fixed with a flash of blue magic.
she spun around to look at Aurora.
"glass fixing spell, your welcome" the young alicorn shrugged.
Pipp smiled at the fellow princess.
meanwhile Sunny had run off to check out the sparkly pumpkins.
"these fabrics are so shiny" Izzy exclaimed, trying to sound as calm as she could within her excitment.
"Izzy look! jousting!" Misty cheered, lightly shaking Izzy's shoulder.
"flugelhorn!" CC screamed in excitement upon seeing a nearby stand.
she zoomed over, a trail of dark pink with a streak of light pink behind her for a brief moment.
"didn't Aurora say you're not allowed to have one of those?" Izzy asked, turning her attention to the hybrid.
"yeah, but she's only a hundred and a half. I'm over a thousand" CC bragged, grabbing one of the bugle horns.
"wait, how old are you?" Misty asked as she headed over, almost slipping on the smooth crystal.
CC repeatedly yelled 'bugle horn' into the instrument, ignoring the question.
Izzy carefully walked over, being careful not to slip.
"how old are you?" Misty repeated her question.
"two thousand, one hundred and sixty-two" CC replied with a smile.
"how!? You don't look a day over twenty-five!" Misty said.
"thank you!" CC responded, taking it as a compliment.
"what she means is that, you don't look anywhere near your age. how?" Izzy explained, gently placing her hoof on Misty's shoulder.
"oh, yeah. it's an immortal thing. I stopped physically aging when I was twenty. alicorns usually stop aging at twenty-five" CC explained.
"does that mean Sunny will stop aging in a few years?" Izzy asked, taking her hoof off of Misty.
"well, she'll stop aging normally. alicorns get really tall" CC replied before continuing her terrible playing.
"we'll just be over here watching the jousting" Misty said, beginning to walk away.
"have fun!" CC smiled.
"so where are the dragons being kept? I was thinking it would be good for Sparky to hang out with other dragons" Hitch asked as they walked through the hallways.
"it is a good idea, every creature will get curious about their species if they never meet a fellow member of their kind. the dragons are in there" Flurry replied, gesturing to a pair of double doors with her wing.
"thanks" Hitch said, walking over to the doors.
"so what were you curious about?" Flurry asked, turning her attention to Zipp.
"I was wondering what's going on with Sunny. CC keeps making comments about her turning into something else" Zipp replied.
"oh yes, don't tell CCake I told you this but, apparently she's slowly turning into an alicorn" Flurry explained.
"what!? How!?" Zipp exclaimed.
"well, apparently it began happening the day the crystals reunited, starting with her magic" Zipp became more shocked as the tall alicorn spoke, not believing her ears.
"hello?" Hitch asked, walking into the room.
in an instant the baby dragons in the large playpen all turned their heads to look at him, their faces expressionless.
"well this is creepy" he whispered under his breath.
after a few moments, the baby dragons went back to what they were doing.
"hi there! I've never seen you around" a purple pegasus mare, walking up to him with a smile.
"uh, yeah. I'm Hitch. I'm from maretime bay" he replied.
"and who's this little fella?" the purple pegasus asked, turning her attention to Sparky while Rosey hopped off his back to play with the other dragons.
"this is my adopted son Sparky" Hitch told her.
"is he a naturally born dragon?" the purple pegasus asked.
"yeah, I found his egg washed up on the beach about four months ago" Hitch explained.
"he's so cute! your very lucky to have found a dragon egg like that" the pegasus said, smiling at the baby dragon.
"so did anypony learn anything from this trip?" CC asked as they all met up at the crystal heart.
"I learned that Sunny will stop aging normally in a few years" Izzy replied, gesturing over to Sunny with her hoof.
"I'll what!?" Sunny shrieked in surprise.
"I learned that you have the dumbest fear possible" Zipp said.
"what's that?" Pipp questioned.
"I'm not supposed to tell anypony" Zipp responded.
"why not?" the pink pegasus queried.
"because it would make CC panic" Zipp whispered as CC scowled at her.
"I learned that baby dragons are creepy in large groups" Hitch stated, horror tinting his voice.
"what did you two learn?" CC asked, gesturing to Misty and Pipp.
"I learned your horrendous at playing the bugle horn" Misty commented in a monotone voice.
CC glared at her for a moment before turning her attention to Pipp.
"I learned that ponies here don't know what phones are" Pipp spoke.
"good! everypony learned something! Home we go!" CC declared, levitating towards the doorway at the edge of the faraway force field.
when they got to the doorway, Zipp and Pipp folded their wings over their fronts in preparation.
"dang it, I forgot my horn and wings disappeared earlier" Sunny commented, looking at her back.
"hey Sunny" CC said in reply, waiting until the orange earth pony was looking at her before continuing.
"I'm glad your dads dead" CC smirked.
"well that was unnecessary" Hitch stated.
"what is wrong with you!? who says that!?" Sunny said, her volume increasing.
she froze when her horn and wings appeared again.
"I won't give you answers, but I will give you advice. your magic can and will react to your emotions. if you're angry or stressed enough, your horn and wings will appear" CC explained.
"Just for clarification, you only said the thing about my dad being dead to get me angry right?" Sunny asked.
"yes. I actually really liked his company. he came to my castle a few times before you were born and gave me something to do when I was really bored" CC replied, looking away from her.
"which was?" Zipp questioned.
"let me ramble about magic to him!" CC smiled, turning to look them in the eyes.
"lets just go home" Zipp groaned, walking over to the portal.
"I'll try to see if I can teleport us right outside the force field this time" CC commented before zooming through the portal.
"wait what" Pipp stated.
Zipp slammed open the front door to the bright house and walked inside, soaking wet.
"I can't believe she teleported us right in the middle of the water!" Sunny mentioned as she walked in, soaked head to toe.
"I'm just glad we were close to shore" Pipp exclaimed, following her as water dripped from her mane.
"I'm going to sign Sparky up for swimming lessons tomorrow" Hitch commented from outside, where he was holding a dripping wet Sparky while being drenched in salt water himself.
"well I'm going to take a bath" Izzy announced as she walked inside, her wet mane in a loose bun.
"and I'm grabbing some towels for the rest of us before you do" Misty replied, walking ahead of her while being careful not to slip on her wet hooves.
"understandable" Izzy shrugged as she stopped walking.
Zipp fell face first onto the couch, letting out a small groan of annoyance.
"I'm going to make lunch" Sunny said, walking into the kitchen.
"make sure to dry off first" Misty responded, using her magic to carry a few towels out of the bathroom.
"right" Sunny spoke, walking out of the kitchen before slipping, quickly catching herself with the rest of her hooves.
"here you go" Misty said in response, levitating a towel to Sunny.
"thanks" Sunny said before drying each of her hooves individually.
"me and Sparky are going to go home now to dry off. Bye!" Hitch announced, beginning to walk away as Sparky happily waved.
"bye!" Sunny, Pipp, Izzy and Misty replied in unison while Zipp waved from the couch.
