the sound of Zipp's hooves repeatedly stepping on the floor as she walked down the ramp in the brighthouse was the only sound for a few moments.

she stopped when she saw a figure out of the corner of her eye.

a look of horror fell upon her face when she saw who it was.

"Izzy?" she said, her voice almost a whisper.

Izzy turned her head to look at her, her eyes bright red. her blue wavy tail was tangled up. her cutie mark had slightly dimmed in color and her mane tied in a messy braid. a strap of fastener fabric was around her back leg, a glue stick stuck on it.

the purple unicorn used her horn to shoot a laser at the white pegasus, who took off into the air before it could land.

"Izzy stop! what's going on with you!?" Zipp called, hovering over the TV.

she yelped, zooming out of the way when a laser hit above the black screen.

Izzy said nothing, firing another laser at the flying figure.

"Izzy! stop!" Zipp cried, soaring past the entrance to the kitchen.

"guys! I need some help down here!" Zipp yelled, flapping her wings near the ceiling light.

Sunny was jolted awake by the sound of Zipp yelling from downstairs. in her shock, her horn and wings became visible once more.

she looked around the room, seeing Pipp and Misty had also been awakened by the sound.

the three ponies practically jumped out of their beds, heading downstairs.

Pipp gasped when she saw Izzy firing lasers at Zipp as she flew around the room.

"you can't stop me! no pony can stop me!" a crazy Izzy roared.

"Zipp! what's going on!?" Sunny asked, leaning against the railing.

"I don't know! I just came downstairs and found her like this! I don't know how much longer I can keep this up!" Zipp screeched, barely dodging a laser aiming at her hoof.

"I'm on it!" Misty declared before firing her own laser at Izzy.

the purple unicorn fell to the ground as the laser hit her right in the head, temporarily knocking her out.

"thanks Misty" Zipp said as she floated down until her hooves could touch the floor.

"why is she acting like that?" Sunny questioned, walking over to a slightly worn out Zipp.

"again, no idea. I noticed she wasn't in bed when I woke up. then after I looked around the room for any clues on where she went before coming down, only find her like this" Zipp explained, gesturing to Izzy, who was now in a force field created by Misty.

"this is concerning" Misty commented.

"do you think CC has something to do with it?" Pipp asked.

"or maybe Discord!" Sunny suggested.

"I think we should go to CC's castle. see if she can help Izzy" Zipp said, turning to walk to the front door.

"you go, I'm going to go tell Hitch what's happening" Sunny responded, beginning to go to the front door.

the two ponies left, leaving Pipp, Misty and Izzy alone in the living room.

"Cupcake" Discord said as CC appeared in the chair belonging to Hitch.

"hey dad" CC groaned upon seeing him in the chair with Misty's cutie mark on it.

"how have you been?" Discord asked, placing his paw over his claw.

"pretty good, I dumped the cure in those evil hot springs yesterday" CC shrugged, leaning back with her eyes closed.

"doesn't that require dragon scales?" Discord questioned.

CC's eyes snapped open.

"oh shoot!" she screamed, jumping out of the chair.

"hi again" Zipp spoke as she passed Diano, who was watching the sun rise.

"mornin'" Diano replied with a thick southern drawl.

"do you do this everyday?" Zipp questioned, remembering two days before.

"pretty much" Diano shrugged in their regular voice.

"I'm gonna go" Zipp told the blue pony, walking away.

"bye" Diano responded, brushing a single strand of their mane away from their shiny green eye.

Diano turned around to watch the white pegasus take off into the sky.

"lucky" Diano muttered so quietly they almost didn't hear themself.

"kindness! I need some of the baby dragon's scales!" CC yelled, instantly waking up Hitch and making Sparky begin crying.

"what?" Hitch asked, walking over to Sparky's bed before picking him up.

"there's these hot springs that turn anypony who gets exposed to the water evil. the cure was put into it and made it harmless thousands of years ago but it recently wore off and so I dumped the cure in but I forgot the dragon scales and, now creativity might be evil" CC rambled.

"wait why is Izzy evil?" Hitch questioned.

"because the water in the evil springs got on her and I forgot the cure needs dragon scales and now I need to get the cure as fast as possible before creativity causes any trouble! so can I please have a few of the baby dragons scales? I only need two or three!" CC begged while Hitch calmed down Sparky.

Hitch sighed before replying.

"alright" he spoke.

"what do we do while they're gone?" Pipp asked, looking down at an unconscious Izzy.

"we wait" Misty replied plopping down on the couch.

Pipp then got out her phone, ready to live stream.

"nope" Misty scowled, floating the phone out of Pipp's hoof.

"hey!" Pipp shrieked.

"your not using that until this whole mess is fixed" Misty stated, leaning her front leg against the armchair.

Pipp groaned in annoyance at the sentence.

"CC?" Zipp asked, landing in the center of the ponyville ruins.

"what's your goal?" CC declared, appearing on the top of the fountain. a balloon full of teal water tucked under her front leg.

"to learn about history in order to help make equestria a better place?" Zipp replied, confused.

"good, your fine. what do you want? I gotta get this thing to creativity stat" CC stated, holding up the balloon for emphasis.

"you mean Izzy? she's gone all evil and we need your help" the white pegasus explained.

"yeah, yeah. I'm on it" CC rolled her eyes.

"what are you, Zap?" the hybrid mumbled under her breath as she jumped down.

"so what exactly caused her to be like this?" Zipp asked as they began walking.

"evil hot springs that basically take your main virtue and twist it into something evil. from what I've heard of the last time this happened, I am honestly shocked Rainbow dash didn't straight up pass out from how many sonic rainbooms she did!" CC replied, holding the balloon mid-air using her powers.

"why did she do that?" Zipp asked, referring to the last part.

"who? the hot springs? call it a magic infection. basically all the magic being used around the area got injected into the hot springs" CC explained.

"nevermind" Zipp mumbled, rolling her eyes at the hybrid.

"Hitch!" Sunny cried out, bursting into the sheriffs office.

"ah! Sunny!" Hitch shrieked in surprise.

"Izzy's gone evil!" Sunny exclaimed.

"yeah, CC told me" Hitch shrugged, tossing Sparky a cat toy.

"oh" Sunny muttered.

"why are you in alicorn mode?" Hitch asked when he saw Sunny's horn.

"I got scared awake by Zipp yelling and it triggered my magic" Sunny explained, frustration in her tone.

"ah, okay" the yellow earth pony responded as Sparky squeezed the non-existent life out of the toy mouse.

"why does Sparky have bandages on his arm?" Sunny questioned, gesturing to the baby dragon.

"CC needed dragon scales for the cure" Hitch explained.

"that must 'ave hurt" Sunny replied.

"she only needed about four, but it still hurt" Hitch said while Sparky began shaking the toy back and forth in his mouth.

"do you want to come over to the brighthouse anyways?" Sunny asked, gesturing to the door.

"yea- Sparky no! not again!" Hitch squawked when Sparky ripped the head off the toy mouse.

"Izzy, calm the hell down!" Pipp screamed at the purple unicorn stuck in the small force field.

"no!" Izzy roared back.

"when is Zipp coming with CC? keeping a force field up is shockingly tiring" Misty commented from the couch.

"oh yeah, the evil hot spring magic also made her stronger" CC replied, appearing in the air holding a balloon full of teal water alongside Zipp.

"oh yay, your back!" Pipp cheered as Izzy hit the force field again.

"you can put the force field down empathy" CC told the blue unicorn.

"finally" Misty gasped a sigh of relief as the glow of her horn dimmed, putting down the force field and causing Izzy to fall face first on the floor.

"raaaaaaaaaaaaa-" Izzy's screaming was cut off by a water balloon being thrown and popping against her horn.

"in the name of Luna, shut the hell up" CC stated from where she was levitating.

"that. was. horrible" Izzy groaned as her cutie mark brightened in color.

"what did I just say!?" CC exclaimed.

"all I wanted to do was craft and hurt ponies!" Izzy explained as she sat up.

"that's it, your getting the tape" CC loudly mumbled.

a large piece of tape appeared and covered Izzy's mouth, stopping her from speaking.

"we're here!" Sunny declared, opening the front door.

she walked in, Hitch following her with Sparky on his back.

"cool, I'm gonna chill here for a bit" Misty responded, lying down on the couch.

"turns out there's evil hot springs that turns anypony who touches the water evil" Zipp explained from where she was standing.

"but I fixed it" CC shrugged, still floating mid-air.

"anyways I'm gonna leave now, bye!" the hybrid announced before vanishing.

a few moments went by without a sound.

"does anypony else think that mare is weird?" Zipp asked.

Izzy gasped for breath as Misty removed the tape from her mouth.

"dang it that hurt!" the purple unicorn exclaimed.

"yeah, she's really weird" Pipp replied to Zipp's question.

"can't really expect anything else from the daughter of the literal lord of chaos" Sunny shrugged.

"wasn't her mom the element of kindness before Hitch?" Izzy responded while untying her mane from the braid.

"well, yeah. CC did just cure you from those evil hot springs" Sunny shrugged.

"I do not understand why those hot springs exist in the first place!" Izzy stated as she used her magic to tie up her mane in a tight bun.

"CC said 'the magic in the area got injected into the hot springs' and that's how the hot springs got magic" Zipp explained, still standing in the middle of the room.

"there's magic in nature?" Izzy questioned, taking off the fastener fabric on her hind leg.

"oh, you didn't know? there's magic in almost everything" Misty replied, lifting her head up from the couch

"like what?" Zipp asked, walking over and sitting on the couch.

"like clouds. in fact, I'm pretty sure its one of the reasons why pegasi can control the weather" Misty responded before grabbing the TV remote.

Pipp turned off her phone, inhaling deeply before speaking.

"we can do what now!?" she shrieked.

CC sighed as she flew, her wings spread out for once.

"where could that place be?" she asked herself, her mane out of its usual ponytail-bun mix.

"I know its here somewhere" she continued, performing a quick spin as the sun began to set.

she gasped with excitement when she saw a strange shaped cloud in the distance.

"I found it!" she squealed, her speed increasing.

CC quickly teleported right above it, floating down until her hooves landed on the soft white material.

"I thought I'd never see this place again" she muttered, looking around at the nearby clouds.

"cloudsdale" she said, tears threatening to run down her cheeks.
