The camera panned across a remote train station nestled at the foot of a sprawling glacier. Snowflakes swirled in the air, and the low rumble of an approaching locomotive echoed through the mountains. Chris McLean stood on the platform, his parka immaculate despite the freezing winds. Behind him, a sleek black train puffed clouds of steam, its ornate lettering reading Total Drama Express.
Chris grinned at the camera, his teeth dazzling against the gray backdrop. "Welcome back, drama fans! This is Total Drama: World Domination, the ultimate global showdown! Twenty-six of our most… iconic contestants are back to compete for fame, fortune, and—let's be honest—bragging rights. This season, we're ditching the old jet for something a little more… grounded. Say hello to the Total Drama Express!"
He gestured to the train, which let out a metallic groan that didn't inspire much confidence. "But don't let the fancy name fool you—this ride is far from luxurious. Cramped cabins, barely edible food, and no Wi-Fi. Sounds like paradise, right?"
The distant growl of an engine interrupted him. Chris turned as a bright yellow bus careened into view, skidding to a stop just shy of the platform. The doors slammed open, and one by one, the contestants emerged.
First off was Heather, her suitcase in hand and her smirk firmly in place. "Finally. A proper stage for my talents," she said, surveying the train with thinly veiled disdain.
"Still delusional, I see," Duncan quipped as he stepped off behind her, shoving his hands into his jacket pockets.
"Better delusional than in denial," Heather shot back.
Gwen followed, pulling her hoodie tighter against the cold. "Here we go again," she muttered, glaring at Chris. "What's the catch this time?"
"Oh, you'll find out," Chris teased.
Owen's booming laugh cut through the tension as he practically fell out of the bus, dragging a massive duffel bag. "Aw, yeah! I've been waiting for this!" He slipped on a patch of ice and landed flat on his back. "I'm good!" he yelled, giving a thumbs-up.
Lindsay appeared next, oblivious to the cold in her bright pink coat. "Hi, Chris!" she chirped, waving enthusiastically. "Are we going to, like, France? I've always wanted to see the Eiffel Mountain!"
Chris snorted. "Close enough."
Noah emerged next, rubbing his temples. "I already regret this."
More contestants followed: Jo stormed off the bus with her usual no-nonsense scowl, while Anne Maria arrived, dramatically fluffing her hair despite the frigid wind. Jasmine towered over the others, nodding approvingly at the train. "Looks solid enough," she said. Samey hesitated on the steps, clutching her bag nervously until Ella practically twirled past her, humming a cheerful tune.
When Ezekiel appeared, there was an audible pause. "Uh, didn't you, like, mutate into a cave monster last time?" Lindsay asked.
"Eh, that's in the past, eh?" Ezekiel said, scratching the back of his neck. "Totally normal now."
The introductions continued as Dakota, Sky, Brick, Scarlett, Julia, Bowie, Damien, Wayne, MK, and Axel filed off the bus, each bringing their own energy—whether it was Julia's phone snapping selfies or Axel muttering survival tips under her breath.
Chris clapped his hands, drawing everyone's attention. "Alright, listen up, people! Here's how this season works. You'll be traveling around the globe on the Total Drama Express, competing in challenges inspired by each location. The stakes? One million dollars! The drama? Guaranteed! And the eliminations? Oh, they're gonna hurt."
He gestured toward the train. "You'll be sharing this fine locomotive with your fellow competitors. Cabins are small, bathrooms are even smaller, and Chef Hatchet is still your chef. Lucky you."
Chef leaned out of the train, glaring. "Don't test me," he growled, holding up a frying pan as if it were a weapon.
Chris grinned. "Now, let me break it down. You'll be divided into three teams: The Fearless Flyers, The Soaring Sharks, and The Daring Ducks. Each team will compete in challenges to win immunity. If your team loses, one of you will be heading home—or at least, as far from this train as possible."
The Fearless Flyers:
Heather
Duncan
Gwen
Zoey
Jasmine
Harold
Bowie
Anne Maria
Damien
Chris smirked. "This team is a mix of schemers, strategists, and survivalists. Good luck keeping the drama in check."
Heather rolled her eyes. "Looks like I'll have to carry this team. Again."
The Soaring Sharks:
Courtney
Lindsay
Noah
Brick
Sky
Samey
MK
Axel
Ella
Chris chuckled. "This team's got plenty of brainpower… and a few wildcards. Let's see if you can keep it together."
"Great," Courtney muttered. "Another group I have to babysit."
The Daring Ducks:
Owen
Dakota
Jo
Scarlett
Julia
Wayne
Dawn
Ezekiel
Chris grinned. "Ah, the Daring Ducks. This team is giving me big chaos energy. Try not to implode immediately."
Owen pumped his fist. "Yeah! Ducks rule!"
Jo crossed her arms. "Ducks are prey animals, genius."
"Anything else we should know?" Gwen asked, crossing her arms.
"Glad you asked!" Chris said. "There will be twists, sabotage, and plenty of opportunities to stab each other in the back. But hey, that's what you're here for, right?"
As groans rippled through the group, Chris motioned toward the towering glacier behind him. "And speaking of challenges, it's time for your first one: Glacial Gladiators! You'll race to the top of that glacier and plant your team's flag at the peak. First team to finish wins immunity. Last team? Well… better hope you've packed your bags."
The contestants exchanged wary glances as the camera panned to the glacier, its jagged edges glinting menacingly in the sunlight.
"Let's move, people!" Chris yelled, blowing a whistle. "This train isn't going to dominate itself!"
As the contestants scrambled to prepare, the camera lingered on the train, steam billowing into the sky. The stage was set, and the chaos was about to begin. The contestants stood at the base of the glacier, staring up at its massive, jagged form. The icy giant loomed over them, its surface glinting under the sunlight. Faint cracks ran along its edges, and the occasional groan echoed ominously. Chris McLean stood nearby, looking far too comfortable for someone about to send twenty-six people up a melting death trap.
"Alright, people!" Chris shouted through his megaphone, his grin as smug as ever. "Your first challenge: climb this bad boy and plant your team's flag at the summit. First team to finish wins immunity. Second team? You're safe for now. But the last team…" He paused dramatically, letting the tension sink in. "Someone's going home."
"Wait, that thing is melting?" Gwen asked, gesturing at the glacier.
Chris nodded, gleeful. "Yup. Every second you stand here, it gets less stable. Fun, right? Now get moving!"
Chef Hatchet, standing off to the side, dumped a pile of climbing gear onto the snowy ground. "If you die, it's not my problem," he grumbled.
The contestants groaned, grabbing their equipment.
As the Fearless Flyers began their climb, Heather wasted no time asserting herself. "Alright, listen up! If we want to win, you'll all need to follow my lead. No questions, no whining—just do what I say."
Duncan rolled his eyes. "Great. Here we go again."
"Do you have a problem?" Heather snapped, glaring at him.
"Yeah, I do," Duncan replied, smirking. "It's you."
Jasmine stepped between them, her voice calm but firm. "Knock it off, both of you. We're wasting time. Let's move."
Confessional: Jasmine
"This team has potential, but it's already clear Heather's ego is going to be a problem. Someone's going to have to keep her in check, and I guess that's me."
As the team began their ascent, Jasmine took the lead, moving confidently across the icy surface. Behind her, Harold struggled to attach his harness.
"Uh, does this thing go here or here?" he asked, fumbling with a carabiner.
Heather groaned. "Just climb, Harold! We don't have all day."
Meanwhile, Zoey tried to help Damien, who was slipping on the ice. "Here, grab my hand," she offered. "Thanks," Damien said, wincing as he nearly fell again. "This is way harder than it looks."
At the back of the group, Anne Maria was busy inspecting her nails. "Ugh, this ice is wrecking my manicure! Why couldn't we start somewhere warm?"
"Because it's Total Drama," Bowie said dryly as he passed her. "Nothing's supposed to make sense."
Confessional: Heather
"Half my team is useless. Anne Maria's too busy worrying about her nails, Harold's a walking disaster, and Damien looks like he's never climbed a staircase, let alone a glacier. If we win, it'll be because of me."
The Soaring Sharks were quick to organize—mostly because Courtney refused to let anyone else take control.
"Alright, here's the plan," Courtney announced, pacing in front of her team. "Brick, you're on anchor duty. Sky, you'll lead the climb. Samey, just stay out of the way."
Samey frowned. "I can climb, you know."
Courtney ignored her. "MK and Noah, you're in the middle. Ella… just don't sing."
Ella looked offended. "Singing uplifts the soul!"
Axel tightened her harness, muttering under her breath. "This is going to be a long season."
Confessional: Noah
"Courtney's leadership style could be described as… what's the word? Dictatorial? Yeah, that fits."
As the team began their climb, Sky took the lead, her athleticism giving her an edge. Brick followed close behind, steady and dependable. Samey, determined to prove herself, climbed faster than expected, passing Courtney in the process.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Courtney snapped. "Climbing," Samey said with a shrug, a small smile tugging at her lips. MK and Noah climbed side by side, both moving at a relaxed pace. "You think she realizes no one's listening to her?" MK whispered.
"Nope," Noah replied. "And that's the best part." Ella hummed a cheerful tune as she climbed, much to Axel's annoyance. "Can you save the singing for later?" Axel growled.
Ella ignored her, smiling serenely. "Music makes everything better!"
If the Fearless Flyers were organized and the Soaring Sharks were functional, the Daring Ducks were… something else entirely.
"This is going to be so awesome!" Owen shouted, charging toward the glacier. "First one to the top wins free burgers for life!"
"I'm in!" Wayne yelled, chasing after him.
Neither of them got very far. Owen slipped on the ice and crashed into Wayne, sending them both tumbling into the snow. "Are you kidding me?" Jo barked, stomping over to them. "We're already in last place, and you two are making snow angels?"
Dawn crouched near a crack in the ice, her fingers brushing the surface. "The glacier's energy is restless," she murmured. "Yeah, well, so is mine," Jo snapped. "Let's go!"
Further up, Julia and Scarlett were climbing steadily. "We just need to maintain a logical pace," Scarlett said, her tone measured. "The odds are still in our favor."
"Sure," Julia replied. "As long as we're not stuck behind those two clowns." She gestured at Owen and Wayne, who were now trying to use their helmets as sleds.
Confessional: Julia
"If this team loses, it's going to be because of Owen and Wayne. I swear, they're like toddlers on a sugar high."
As the climb continued, the glacier began to groan ominously. Chunks of ice broke loose, tumbling dangerously close to the climbers.
"Watch out!" Jasmine shouted, pulling Zoey out of the way as a chunk of ice crashed beside them.
Further up, Heather saw an opportunity. She waited until Duncan was distracted, then shoved past him to take the lead.
"Seriously?" Duncan yelled. "This is why no one likes you!"
Heather smirked. "Correction: no one who loses likes me."
Back with the Sharks, Sky powered ahead, only for the ledge beneath her to crumble. Brick grabbed her arm, pulling her to safety. "Thanks," Sky said, breathless.
The Final Stretch As the summit came into view, the Fearless Flyers and Soaring Sharks were neck and neck. Heather and Jasmine planted their flag moments before Sky and Brick.
"It's a tie!" Chris announced. "Now let's see if the Daring Ducks can catch up!"
Jo, dragging a breathless Owen and Wayne, managed to plant their flag just in time.
"Fearless Flyers and Soaring Sharks are safe!" Chris declared. "Daring Ducks? Someone's going home tonight."
The platform was dimly lit, the shadow of the massive Total Drama Express looming over the Daring Ducks. The team sat in a rough line on wooden benches, their expressions ranging from nervous to smug. Chris McLean stood front and center, his tray of marshmallows gleaming under a single spotlight.
"Welcome, Daring Ducks, to your first elimination ceremony!" Chris began, his voice dripping with faux sympathy. "You had a rocky start today—pun intended—but hey, at least you weren't the worst team I've ever seen. Barely."
The camera panned across the team. Julia sat with her arms crossed, her smirk firmly in place. Owen shifted uncomfortably, avoiding Jo's glare, while Jo sat stiffly, her jaw clenched.
Chris lifted the tray. "Here's the deal. If I call your name, you get a marshmallow and a ticket to stay on this glorious train ride. If not, well… let's just say you won't be needing a ticket. Chef?"
Chef Hatchet, standing off to the side, grunted and yanked a lever. A section of the platform creaked ominously, revealing a hidden trapdoor.
"Someone's taking a long drop into the unknown," Chris said with glee.
Confessional: Julia
"Jo's tough, sure, but she's also a pain in the butt. I don't need someone bossing me around or dragging down the team vibe. Convincing everyone to vote her out? Easy."
Chris grabbed the first marshmallow. "Let's get started. The first marshmallow goes to… Scarlett."
Scarlett caught the marshmallow effortlessly, giving a calm nod.
"Next up… Julia."
Julia leaned back, smugly catching her marshmallow without a word.
"Wayne."
"Yeah, buddy!" Wayne cheered, high-fiving Owen.
"Owen."
Owen caught his marshmallow mid-air. "Sweet! I thought I was a goner."
"Dawn."
Dawn gracefully accepted hers. "Thank you," she said softly, glancing at Jo.
Chris held up two marshmallows, eyeing Dakota and Jo. "And now, the final two. Dakota, our influencer extraordinaire, and Jo, the walking definition of tough love."
[Confessional: Dakota]
"Me? In the bottom two? Clearly, someone doesn't understand star power. Anyway, it's obvious who's going home."
Jo gritted her teeth as Dakota rolled her eyes beside her. "Just give me the marshmallow already," Jo muttered.
Chris smirked. "And the final marshmallow goes to… Dakota."
Dakota grabbed the marshmallow triumphantly, flipping her hair. "About time," she said, throwing a glance at Jo.
Chris turned to Jo, shrugging. "Looks like your team decided you're a little too much to handle."
Jo stood abruptly, glaring at her teammates. "You've got to be kidding me. I carried half of you losers up that glacier!"
Julia shrugged, her expression perfectly innocent. "It's nothing personal, Jo. We just didn't think you were… a good fit for the team."
Jo pointed a finger at Julia. "Oh, I see what you did. Manipulating everyone like the little snake you are. I hope you're the next one out."
Julia didn't flinch. "We'll see."
Confessional: Jo
"First out? Me? These idiots wouldn't survive one day without me. I hope this train derails."
Chris gestured toward the trapdoor. "Time to hit the road—or, you know, the snow." Chef yanked the lever, and the platform beneath Jo gave way. She plummeted into the icy wilderness with a yell that echoed into the distance.
Chris turned back to the camera, grinning. "And that's our first elimination, folks! One down, twenty-five to go. Who's next? Stick around to find out, only on Total Drama: World Domination!"
The camera zoomed out as the team shuffled back onto the train, tension thick in the air. Julia smiled faintly, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction.
