Curtain Call
Chapter 61
Marrying Brooke was and would remain one the best choices I ever made.
Seeing her walk down the aisle to me. In that white dress. With the look of love in her eyes.
Us saying those vows. Making those promises.
As we sipped those rings on our hands.
When we were officially announced as husband and wife. I
I felt peace I was grateful. She was everything I could ask for.
Our first dance. We danced together with Eugene. Took so many pictures. Made countless memories throughout the evening.
Until we eventually left. Eugene would be looked after until we got back from our honeymoon.
One week of newly married time alone.
(Mrs. Scott.) Lucas said.
(Mr. Scott.) Brooke said softly.
In a matter of hours. Lucas was being carried into their hotel suite.
Brooke had taken over everything aspect of the wedding but their honeymoon.
Lucas had taken it over. And as Brooke went further into room.
It was spacious. Colorful. Private.
Red and white rose pedals on the bed.
Brooke was ready and tempted to make love all over this room.
(I'm all yours Mr. Scott.) Brooke proclaimed.
Lucas slipped the do not disturb sign on the front of the door. Locked it.
Then made his way towards her. Wrapping her in his arms.
Kissing her hard. The two lost all control once they began to undress each other.
Lucas lifted her up. As she wrapped her legs around him.
As the two fell onto the bed. They made love slowly. Caressing and kissing.
Biting and touching. Kisses furious.
Brooke laid him on his back as they made love for a second time hard and fast.
Their eyes locked on each other. Their love overflowing in every action.
At some point exhaustion set in. And Lucas held her securely in his arms.
Brooke fell asleep on his bare chest. Listening to his heartbeat.
Eventually Brooke awoke to the aroma of room service.
She soon realized it was night not sure of the time.
Lucas had ordered them dinner and dessert.

Peyton got into her car and started to drive. Instead of having the life and happy ending she longed for with Lucas.
She was left with a baby that reminded her of the man who did nothing but reject her.
When she left her home she was welcomed with silence. And she was reminded.
That not carrying about people was her default setting.
She was better off caring for only herself.
...
Peyton had packed a bag grabbed her passport and made her way towards the airport.
She was leaving town and Elizabeth behind her.
Lucas got a call almost a week into his honeymoon.
Getting notified that a six month old baby was found alone in the Sawyer home.
