AVA'S PERSPECTIVE (20)

It took me a minute to collect myself after laughing so hard.

After Crystal threw…something, I immediately collapsed, laughing for reasons that even I wasn't completely sure of.

Addy glared at me.

"You are a monster. DID YOU JUST SEE WHAT HAPPENED?"

"Yeah…she raged and threw some container," I said through my laughter.

"Do I SERIOUSLY need to explain everything messed up in that sentence?"

I looked at her strangely.

"Number 1. SHE'S BLEEDING SO MUCH. Seriously-"

Not listening anymore, I grabbed the spyball and gasped.

Shards of glass stuck out of several wounds on her arms. Blood started to drip on the ground to the floor.

"Number 2. Those were ANTI-DELULU PILLS. THAT SHE JUST MADE!"

I cursed under my breath. So she actually agreed with me now? I felt sick to my stomach.

"You're her best friend. That's not okay. Even I wouldn't do that."

Each word felt like another punch to my stomach. She was my best friend. That wasn't okay. I was such a horrible person.

"Also, she's crying. Like weeping. And-"

"Okay!" I shouted, feeling close to weeping myself. "I get it! Stop! Just stop!"

Addy muttered something under her breath, and the spyball turned off.

Thankfully, I could teleport to Crystal's location no matter what. I created the connection in case one of us were in trouble, but I never told Crystal. And after years of not using it, I basically forgot about it. But then was the perfect time to remember it.

I grabbed Addy's wrist, preparing to teleport to help my best friend.

Crystal.

I could tell Addy was doing that stupid smirk. I squeezed her hand harder, getting a satisfying "OW!" out of her.

We then teleported away.

SOPHIE'S PERSPECTIVE (21) …But I'm feeling 22!

I sat in my room, singing "Mantra" by Jennie quietly to myself. Suddenly, Biana walked by, playing…well, I wasn't sure what song she was playing, but I knew it wasn't BLACKPINK.

I stood up, furious, and grabbed her arm. She gave me a disgusted look and snapped, "What you lookin' at? What you, what you lookin' at?"

"I'm stealin' diamonds, make 'em chase me for the thrill," I warned, scowling. Hopefully she'd realize that I was the alpha in this situation (and every other situation ever) and leave me alone. Sadly, that did not seem to be the case.

"Shut up," she snarled, baring her teeth. "Let me stream Le Sserafim in peace."

"HOW DARE YOU!" I shrieked. "HOW DARE YOU INSULT THE QUEENS OF K-POP BY STREAMING BETA MUSIC THAT IS INCOMPARABLE TO THEIR ALPHA SONGS! BLACKPINK ARE AND WILL ALWAYS BE QUEENS! THEY ARE THE BEST! SCREW LE SSERAFIM! I HATE YOU!"

Biana stared at me blankly before saying, "BLACKPINK are such pick mes. Le Sserafim is where it's at."

"WHERE THE TRASH IS AT!"

"Stop screaming," Biana whined.

"NO! I WILL NOT STOP SCREAMING UNTIL YOU START STREAMING BLACKPINK!"

"Hard no. I'll just leave." Biana flipped her hair dramatically.

I gasped. "Y-you're not allowed to!" Was Biana really petty enough to break such a serious rule? Listening to all those terrible songs must have messed with her brain in some way. Or maybe she was just this crazy (A/N: by le sserafim? maybe she is a fearnot lol) naturally.

She gave me a look filled with venom (not Pink Venom, sadly,) and snarled, "Who's stopping me? You should get away, get a, get a, get away / Mmm-mmm-mmm-mmm, I'm fearless, huh."

I stuck my tongue out at her as she left, but she suddenly turned around, and wrinkled her nose at my face.

"Taunt me all you want, but the truth is, you're just not fearless enough to follow me." Then she sashayed away, probably trying to look cool but ending up looking like a constipated ostrich.

I gritted my teeth, and at that moment, I made a decision. I would not let Biana taunt BLACKPINK any longer. I would follow her, and when I was done with her, she would not dare to listen to a Le Sserafim song again. I clenched my fists, preparing to storm after her.

But suddenly, I realized that I sorta missed Keefe.

For a second I felt bad for ignoring him for so long.

Then my mind snapped back to the present. Keefe could wait. Biana's wretched music could not.

I spotted someone staring at me as I dramatically walked through the hall, but I ignored them. I was used to the admiring stares of my fans.

I tip-toed to the exit, following Biana closely but not making a sound. I wanted to see her face when she realized I had been two steps ahead of her this whole time.
