A/N: Alrighty, first off I wish all of y'all a Merry Chirstmas, or any other hoilday you may or may not celebrate. Second off, I am quite surpised by how many people favorited or followed this fanfiction. I guess because this is my crack take on a standard Fifth Holy Grail War. Well anyways I would like to take this time to thank the 15 people who favorited this fic, and the 18 people who are following this fic as well as 2 out of the 3 people who took their time to write their reviews. I apperciate the critism. This is also probably the fastest or second fatest any one of my fics have grown. Thank you.
So without further ado let's a go!
Chapter 2: Night of Fate
I have been having a certain nightmare lately. The type of one where I relieve the events of that day. The day where Shirou died, and I, Shirou Emiya, was born.
The nightmare I had tonight was different. This time the Fuyuki Fire was occupied by an infinite number of swords, or so I could only assume. No people, only swords. Every time the young me in my nightmare walked past one. Instead of the curses, the crying, and the cold solid acceptance of death. I heard parts of what I can only tell was an incantation.
I love swords as much as the next guy, but why?
From what I am able to pick up, the first type of dream usually happens when I am in my futon, but the other type of dream occurs when I overexert myself in my workshop.
I AM THE BONE OF MY SWORD
STEEL IS MY BODY AND FIRE IS MY BLOOD
I HAVE CREATED OVER A THOUSAND BLADES
UNKNOWN TO DEATH,
NOR KNOWN TO LIFE.
HAVE WITHSTOOD PAIN TO CREATE MANY WEAPONS
BUT YET, THOSE HANDS WILL NEVER HOLD ANYTHING
SO, AS I PRAY, UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS.
The voice sounds oddly familiar as well as if it were from a man I knew that I have never seen. Otherwise, the nightmare goes to its natural conclusion. I get rescued by a man who I can only assume is Kiritsugu, and I get adopted by the old man.
I wake up in the morning in the storage room outside. The storage room that Illya and I use as a workshop. In this storage room lies a bunch of things I have projected over the years. Ranging from basic objects like plates, to slightly less basic objects like chairs, to complex objects like the engine of a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL. I have this really amazing ability to recreate an object from scratch. If only I could use this ability more openly. I could only think about the number of people I could help, but I suppose the old man is right. People will probably take advantage of me in order to use this ability.
Hell, they already take advantage of my reinforcement.
I get made fun of at school all the time for this. With silly nicknames like 'Fake Janitor', or a vacuum cleaner, but that doesn't matter. As long as I can help one person, this is fine, and it is not like I get made fun of by everyone. Friends like Issei, Gai, Ayako, and even Sakura defend me from those people. Besides the people who mostly make fun of me are Shinji, and his girlfriend, Misao. As much as I hate to say it, almost everyone and their mom hates Shinji.
Probably the only two people who care about him are me and Sakura. I even lean on the fence about hating him from time to time, but I just can't bring myself to hate him. It is not like he has done anything incredibly bad to warrant my wrath, and at the end of the day he is still a good buddy of mine.
Speaking of Sakura, I am surprised that she didn't wake me up today. Usually if I am late waking up, she just waltzes into my workshop and wakes me up herself. She was acting odd yesterday, and there was a little bruise on her hand. I originally thought Shinji was the cause of it, but he confirmed that he didn't lay a hand on her.
Oh well, I guess I am just making breakfast for myself and Fuji-nee today.
"I can't keep vouching for Illya," Fuji-nee complained, "She may be an incredibly smart girl, but missing this much school can put even the smartest of kids behind."
"I am sure the old man has a good reason for what he did," I said placing my faith with the man who saved me.
"I trust Kiritsugu, but as a professional. I can't just give others special treatment."
"Yet you can poach free meals from students," I muttered as Fuji-nee gave me the stink eye.
"There is a difference. We're practically family," Fuji-nee retorted.
"What about whenever Sakura cooks?"
"She does that out of the kindness of her heart."
"Sella?"
"She is family too," Fuji-nee exclaimed, "as much as she doesn't want to claim me."
"Me and you both," I laughed.
"Shirou," Fuji-nee said while changing her tone from happy-go-lucky to serious, "I want you to be safe. That means no recklessly endangering yourself right now with all the weird stuff in the city."
"I haven't thrown myself in danger yet."
"That is because you haven't ran into someone crying for help, yet," Fuji-nee said in the most out-of-character way, "I just want you to put your own safety first. Promise me, Shirou."
…
I couldn't promise anything. Both me and Fuji-nee know that I am helpless when it comes to denying someone aid. Even at the cost of my own health. Years ago, someone was bullying Illya for being different from the rest of us. Illya's features didn't fit Japanese society. Sure, she might have some of Kiritsugu's features, but she still had the pale white skin and hair with red eyes as well as poor Japanese comprehension. As far as those boys were concerned, she was a foreigner, and sometimes foreigners aren't treated too well.
They made fun of her, and I did what any boy does when their family is insulted. I tried to beat them up. Which didn't go well for a 1v3, 1v3's rarely goes well anyways. I remember the old man both chastising me about my safety but complimenting me on defending my 'little sister'. Since then, Illya has been more proactive in preventing my heroic side from hurting me.
Though that doesn't always go well. Like that one time me, the old man, and Illya were out shopping, and a rare burglar showed his face when we were eating lunch. Just like that I jumped into action. The dude was armed too, and I was almost shot if the old man didn't use his special magecraft powers, Time Accel, to knock out the guy.
The old man really lectured me afterwards. I know that he said something about dreams having a time limit. Which is why I am that much more determined to be a 'Hero of Justice', so I can fulfill the dreams of the old man about a world where no one has to cry.
Fuji-nee sighed she knew the boy didn't want to make promises he couldn't keep, "Just stay safe ok," before she jumped back into her old peppy tone, "Well I have to go to school to finalize some paperwork. There are going to be two new transfer students today. Bye."
"Bye Fuji-nee," I said as the Tiger of Fuyuki finished her meal and ran to her moped.
"I wonder what today will bring me?" I pondered as I got ready for school.
The air was dark and gloomy, simply perfect for a ritual like this. A Japanese girl with long black hair, and twin tails poking out both sides of her hair. To many she is considered a beauty, a perfectionist, and a shining example of what a student ought to be. It just means this illusion she puts on is perfect. This ideal of a person is just a front, a front for the mage known as Rin Tohsaka.
What she is about to do, is indicative of the real Rin Tohsaka. A magus hailing from the prestigious Tohsaka family, their only daughter. Though her parents have long since passed away, it doesn't affect her as this is simply the life of a mage. People come and go, but research is the top priority. It is expected that she would continue the work that her ancestors had passed on, and it is expected that she would pass on this work to her descendants. This is how mage life works, but if she is successful in the oncoming weeks she will be the one to achieve the generational work of the Tohsaka family.
"I have everything in order," Rin smiled looking onto the scene in front of her. The basement of the Tohsaka manor was littered with ancient relics fitting for the workshop of a mage. In the center of it all was a summoning circle, a circle that would allow her to summon a servant, and if she got everything right. She would be awarded with the most broken servant class, a Saber.
"Heed me words! My will creates your body, and your sword creates my destiny. If you heed the Grail's call and obey my will and reason, then answer me."
The summoning circle started glowing, and usually glowing summoning circles are good. Traditional summons usually involve blood pouring into the summoning circle, but Rin Tohsaka is so obsessed with summoning a Saber servant that she is willing to take it one step further. No, she isn't going to leak her mana on the thing, you degenerate, but she is going to use some rather expensive gems. The Tohsaka family is known for one thing other than the main thing everyone reading this fanfiction knows them for, and that is using their magecraft in conjunction with gems. A rather expensive way to perform magecraft, but I guess it's a cool flex. Too bad Rin is probably going to bankrupt herself afterwards, but that is the price of securing the Saber servant.
For those of you who don't know about the class system. There are seven classes, Saber, Lancer, Caster, Archer, Rider, Berserker, & Assassin. However, like most power structures, not all classes are born equally with the Saber class being by far the most covenant class of servants. So much so, Rin is willing to bankrupt herself and keep herself awake till 2:00 in the morning to perform this ritual.
"I hereby swear that I shall be all the good in the world. That I shall defeat all the evil in the world. Seven Heavens, clad in the three great words of power. Come forth from the circle of blinding, Guardian of the Scales!"
"Summoning Mysterious!" A disembodied voice said.
"A boo-shaka, boo-shaka, boogie woogie! Cling-clang delirious, MYSTERIOUS!"
Rin smiled in confidence, that summoning song means that her summons was answered by a Heroic Spirit. By the nature of the summoning song, it means her Saber is mysterious in nature. Nothing to do with actual stats, but more of a reflection of the Heroic Spirit's character.
The only problem there is that the servant is nowhere to be seen.
A problem that only lasts for a few seconds as an explosion goes off upstairs. Quickly Rin runs upstairs only to find her living room was completely destroyed. In the center of it all, laying down on the conveniently unharmed sofa was a tanned man with snow white hair smirking like the cool ass motherfucker he is.
"Sorry about the mess, master," the based tan dude said laying around.
"Who are you?"
"Really. That is your question? Were you even listening? Just my luck to end up with a horrible master." As it turns out Rin summoned a wise guy, a man oozed with sarcasm.
"You're my servant, correct?" Rin asked after a few moments of concentrated thinking.
"I think so, I don't really have a good grasp of what's going on now. This may be my first time being summoned, but I doubt I should've been summoned like a homunculus driving a car."
This gave Rin the information that this Heroic Spirit must have been around in the past century, and knew of the wizarding world, I mean the moonlit world, I mean the secret society of mages. In other words, that narrows the options down a lot, but not that many Heroic Spirit candidates from the 1900s had snow white hair.
"What's your relations with the Einzbern Family," Rin interrogates hoping to wade through the bullshit she knows this smug servant will pull her through.
"I don't know, I have mild amnesia," the servant bluntly said.
"You're kidding me."
"Afraid not. Hold on I think I remember something," the servant said as he rubbed his brain with a thinking face. Obviously ramping up the drama for Rin.
"What is it?"
"I am an Archer!"
"OH, COME ON!" Rin yelled angrily since she just wasted a bunch of expensive gems.
"Great, I've got a really incompetent master," Archer sighed, "Welp, I guess I know who the stronger out of the two of us in this relationship." Poor choice of words, Archer. Poor choice of words.
"What do you mean, you prick?!" Rin lashed out, "you want to see strength. I'll show you strength!" She held the backside of her fist in front of Archer's face. On it was a small circle with a mostly complete circle surrounding it, and in between the edges of the incomplete circle was a line.
This my friends are what we call a Command Spell. The purpose of one is to force a servant to do a command. Thus, the name, and Rin does not handle people toying with her well. Something Archer should've caught onto. His loss, not mine.
"Wait you aren't actually going to use a Command Spell on me, right?"
…
"Right?" Archer asked more politely.
"Too late for pleasantries now, I've got a grail to win," Rin smiled devilishly. So devilishly that Archer had to wonder if his master was actually Satan or not. After spouting some words in German that I have no interest in typing.
Rin yelled out the following, "By order of my command spell, I order you, Archer to follow the law of obedience!" As her hand flashed a bright red, the command went through.
"Are you actually fuckin' insane? You just wasted a Command Spell," Archer asked at the insane action his master took.
"I needed to make you listen to me somehow." It was at this moment that Archer knew that Rin would either last a day, or they would go all the way with absolutely no in-between.
As for Rin, she could tell why the Mysterious song was playing when she summoned him. It was definitely foolish that she used one of her three command spells on Archer, but she had to get the point across to him that she wasn't going to tolerate any of his bullshit.
She needs to win this Holy Grail War. If only so all of what her family sacrificed would not be in vain. This is the culmination of all her family's work, each and every ancestor dating back to 1810, and beyond.
Her only hope is that she isn't involved in this war but given how the Holy Grail System works. She will probably encounter her at some point or another.
Thus, a shame, in another timeline maybe they could've lived a normal life.
"To your right is the school cafeteria, truthfully I don't how the food tastes, but people say it is not too bad," I said as I was guiding two new students on a tour around the school. Their names were Hakuno, and Hakunon Kishinami. The pair of them are twins who just transferred to the school today. Hakuno looked to be a tall man that was somewhat built. He had short brown hair that could cover his equally brown eyes. On the other hand, Hakunon had some of the straightest bangs I've ever seen. Attached to them are long strains of brown hair that wave a little at the end. Hakuno had a sharper face while Hakunon had a rounder face, and besides the other obvious differences they looked pretty damn identical to each other.
"Cool," Hakunon said in the most robotic way possible while Hakuno just stayed mute. I can already tell they are going to fit into this school just fine. Though I find it a tad bit odd that they transferred here close to the end of the school year. Oh well, I ain't the type of person to pry into other people's personal lives.
Besides there is no way in hell their situation is any weirder than mine.
"And there is one more place I want to show y'all," I said trying to engage with the twins.
…
"The Archery Range!" I exclaimed in the most glee I've had for the damn sport in a year and the half.
Still no reaction. You know I wonder if the AI revolution is secretly upon us, and the Kishinami twins are just sleeper agents or something.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't Emiya," A very familiar voice exclaimed. A very familiar voice I didn't want to hear considering the nagging I was about to get.
"This is the captain of the Archery Club," I stated to the Kishinamis, "Ayako Mitsuzuri."
Now that was to set the reason why I was at the Archery Range in the first place. Hopefully Mitsuzuri won't bother me about rejoining Archery.
"Nice to meet y'all," the tomboyish captain said to the twins.
"Nice to meet you as well," the twins politely replied.
"Miss Fujimura assign you with tour guide duties, again," Mitsuzuri bluntly said.
"Yes," I am not about to deny that.
"Well then, it is my duty as the captain of the Archery Club to describe the club to newcomers," Mitsuzuri smiled, "what are y'all names?"
"I am Hakunon Kishinami."
"And I am Hakuno Kishinami."
"Yes, we are twins."
"Seems like you've got that coordinated," Mitsuzuri noticed, "As Emiya said before my name is Ayako Mitsuzuri, and I am the captain of the Archery Club. You might be wondering why the Archery range is so big."
"Nope," Hakuno bluntly said. Mitsuzuri stared a dagger down at him before continuing her explanation.
"The Director was able to pull his hand for some money," Mitsuzuri proudly boasted, "Though lately we have been having a shortage of members." I would raise my eyebrows right now because I am fairly certain that Mitsuzuri is about to try and recruit the three of u. Especially me, considering the number of people I tend to attract. Also, the fact that the Archery Club is in dire need of proper leadership. The likes that neither Mitsuzuri nor Shinji are able to provide.
No offense to them, but I wouldn't say that either of them or even myself are leadership material. Though the question is who can fill that void?
"What's Archery?" Hakunon asked much to the surprise of both me, and Mitsuzuri. Taking a second to realize that there was a decent chance they might have never heard of archery, Mitsuzuri began to explain the basics of archery, and requested that the twins take a look at how archery is played. Dragging little old me into the crossfire. By all accounts, I should be incredibly rusty at archery.
"The goal is to get the arrows the closest to the yellow circle in the middle. Sort of like this," Mitsuzuri demonstrated to the unexpected viewers. Both Kishinamis show interest in the act of the arrow piercing the yellow circle, "You get 10 points in the yellow, 8 points in the red, 6 points in the blue, 4 points in the black, and finally 1 point if you stick the thing in the white. As you can see, I am very adept at shooting towards the yellow."
"I see," Hakuno looked in intrigue, "Is it ok if you can show us how a round goes?" I didn't think this kid was interested in anything by how quiet and monotone he was during the tour, but my question is what the hell did he think was interesting about archery?
Damn it, I see Mitsuzuri's gaze. It's over for me. It is all over. Growing up with Illya and Taiga. I have learned one thing, and that is girls are scary.
Super scary, and my time in the archery club helped cement that theory too.
"Come on, Emiya. How about we show them an exhibition. Let's see how much your skills have rusted," Mitsuzuri smugly said. Welp that is just the tone I needed.
"What do you mean by rusted, Mitsuzuri?" Hakunon innocently asked. Damn it, of all the things the twins have to show interest in. It has to be this godforsaken sport against the one person I don't want to compete against. Because heaven knows that I will be begged to rejoin after this.
"Emiya here used to be the ace of the Archery Club before he quit," Mitsuzuri said letting out that information nonchalantly. Even going as far as causally omitting the reason why I quit, "Now come on, don't you want to give them a show?"
I could see the usually reserved Kishinami twins look at me with interest as if Mitsuzuri wasn't pulling their leg.
"I am sorry, but I think I may have gotten a little rusty, like you said Mitsuzuri."
"Well, we won't know till we see," Hakunon exclaimed with a smile.
Damn, my kryptonite. The smiles of people.
"Alright, I'll do it!"
ONE PERFECT ROUND LATER
"Damn, you still got the stuff, Emiya," Mitsuzuri said in a surprised tone.
"Honestly, I don't know how I did it," I said amazed that I was still able to best Mitsuzuri after not raising a bow since I quit. All five of my arrows went straight the yellow in coordinated circles, while one of Mitsuzuri's arrows went straight towards the red giving me the win.
"That was incredible," Hakunon remarked, "the way the two of you were able to just effortlessly shoot those arrows into the targets."
"I agree, we may not know anything about Archery, but I can tell that the technique used was well disciplined. Are you sure you haven't raised a bow since you quit the Archery Club, Emiya?"
"Yep. Well, I guess I am just a natural," I said laughing a bit.
"Which is why you should rejoin the Archery Club," Mitsuzuri suggested, "Come on we need an experienced guy like you help develop some of the up and coming talent, like Sakura." My face slightly frowned at the mention of Sakura's name. I am sure Mitsuzuri knows as well, but Sakura has been absent from school for the past two days with no explanation.
"No thanks, I have more time than ever to work."
"Come on, Shirou don't you know that all work and no play makes you a dull boy," Mitsuzuri, or should I say Ayako teased.
"I know that is why I sleep." I could see that Mitsuzuri was unimpressed with my answer.
"Either way, I think that's about it for the tour," I declared to the twins, "I'll take y'all back to Mrs. Fujimura, and then you both should be free to your own devices."
With that, I took the twins back to Mrs. Fujimura so we could get lunch, or in my case help with whatever Issei needs me to help with while I eat lunch.
Though before me and the twins left, Mitsuzuri pulled me aside.
"Shinji has been acting more erratically than usual lately. Earlier today I asked him to clean up the club range. Though I have a feeling that he won't clean it."
"You want me to clean it."
"No, I want you to comfort Shinji. Because I feel like you are the only person capable of getting through to him right now."
"I'll try my best. Maybe I might get answers as to why, Sakura hasn't shown up to school."
"Thank you, Shirou."
"No problem, Ayako."
Damn Shinji. He is slipperier than I thought. After I promised Mitsuzuri that I would talk some sense to him. I couldn't find him all day long, and as such I forced myself to do the task he would have been doing. Mitsuzuri tried to talk me out of it, but I decided this was my penance for not being able to track down Shinji.
Cleaning the floor took way longer than I expected, and it was already dark by the time I got out of the Archery range. I hope Fuji-nee won't be too mad that I wasn't able to cook dinner. Little did I know that would be the least of my problems that day.
As I was walking towards the school yard, I saw a figure and a red and green blur. The figure looks familiar, but it is too hard to tell who it is given the distance and lighting.
I try to get a better look by approaching the track and field area. The blurs stopped for a second, and I can clearly make out the people who they were supposed to be.
The green blur looked like a foreigner. He had slick jet-black hair that glistened in the moonlight, and a chiseled face that I am certain would make any girl fawn over him. He had amber eyes with a mole off to the side of his left eye. Add to the fact that he was donning a skintight green jumpsuit that tampers off into tight black pants. Finally, he was armed with two lances, wrapped in a purple cloth.
The red blur looked oddly familiar to me. He had grey eyes that seemed to have experienced a lot, tanned skin, and slicked back hair much like the green blur expect his hair was pure white, and less messy. He wore a red jacket that covered a black bodysuit, and he carried around two blades. To his side, I was starting to make out the figure right next to him.
She kind of looks like someone I know. Wait! Is that the school's idol, Rin Tohsaka?
What type of kinky stuff did I stumble into? Does this have anything to do with the suspicious gas leaks in town?
Well, none of those questions matter anymore as the green blur decided to charge right towards me. I could only make out the words of 'someone is watching' before I decided to bolt out of there.
"NIGERUNDAYO!" I exclaimed as my instincts told me to bolt out of the track and field area as fast as possible. I know there are many things that have been said about me. Usually boiling down to is there any request he will turn down, and does this boy have any sense of survival?
Least it be known that I, Shirou Emiya, have survival instincts. They usually don't appear when other people are in danger, but when I am the only person in danger. They come out in full force, and in full force it is coming out.
I rushed my way into the school. Any distance I can create I would take it. I ran as fast as my legs would take me only stopping to take a breather.
Man, I am impressed about how far my legs can take me, and equally impressed about how they don't lock this school at night. One would think someone would lock it due to security or something, but I guess nobody wants to touch school.
I think I managed to lose the green blur. After all, I hadn't seen the fellow since I ran into the school building. Regaining my breath, I decided to say five words that I said too soon.
"Seems like I lost him," In my defense if I couldn't see or hear him. I probably lost him.
"Nope," the tight guy said breathing down my neck.
I am scared beyond my wildest beliefs right now. This can't be the end of me, I have barely lived a life of saving others. I still have the old man, and my sister to take care of. I am still a virgin. Please, I don't want to be a victim of whatever weird fetish this is.
"Say sike right now," I said right before my heart was stabbed by a lance.
"I am so sorry, I don't want to kill you, but I have no choice. May heaven find you, kid," the green blur said with a deep sense of guilt before he vanished.
That was one of the last things I saw before I lost consciousness, and with that the life of Shirou Emiya came to an abrupt end.
THE END
A/N: Well that was a shock ending now wasn't it. So out there and out of the blue. Welp, some people are just meant to die, and when people die when they are killed right?
Well its been forever since I've done this last section. Novemeber of 2022 if I recall correctly. Probably doesn't help I didn't update any of my fics throughout 2023.

Dear Sonicking42,
I recently had the pleasure of reading your story, Fate Leave Day, and I wanted to say how much I enjoyed it. Your creative twist on the Fate/stay night universe is incredibly engaging, and I loved how you balanced humor, action, and introspection in Shirou Emiya's journey. The vivid imagery and unique take on the characters really brought the story to life in a refreshing way.
As a professional comic artist, I couldn't help but envision how your story could look in a graphic format. The dynamic battles, emotional flashbacks, and humor-filled moments would translate beautifully into a comic, offering fans an exciting visual adaptation of your work.
With your permission, I would love to adapt Fate Leave Day into a comic. My goal would be to remain faithful to your original vision while enhancing it with visuals that capture the essence of your storytelling.
If this idea interests you, I'd be thrilled to discuss the details further, including how I can bring this project to life while giving full credit to you as the author.
Thank you for creating such an inspiring story, and I hope we can collaborate to expand its reach to an even wider audience.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
Best regards,
A/N: Well well well, if it isn't the scam of the year. Coming in so bold. I much rather deal with Farla and the people who complain about Farla (Those who are in any Pokemon fanbase, you know this damn well) then you. If you are going to try to scam someone at least try and make your scams believeable. Also what dynamic battles? Why in the hell would I pay money to you for something I don't even own.
Oh right I forget about the discalmer.

So kindly fuck off, and I hope you stub your toe on a lego. Also I already blocked you, this is just a warning for everyone else, and filler material for what is to come.
Speaking of what is to come.
Ok, did you actually think this story was going to end here? I mean even those of you not familiar with the source material should know that we are just getting started.
Having regained her bearings after the fight with Lancer. Rin ran straight into the mostly dead body of Shirou Emiya.
"Oh no, I thought that the school was cleared out," Rin panicked concerned about the life of the innocent bystander, "because I didn't double check the school, I caused this poor boy to die."
"Master, people live, and people die. That is what I believe is called the Circle of Life," Archer shrugged, "This is just fate," Subtly hinting that Rin should not feel bad because of random civilian fatalities that were out of her control.
"Archer, go after Lancer. It is most likely that he will return to his Master," Rin ordered, "That way we can find out what Lancer's Master looks like."
"Understood," Archer said as he returned to spiritual form to pursue Lancer.
Rin decided to keep the boy company until he dies. However, she broke the second she learned the identity of the fallen boy.
"Emiya. Why you of all people. You are too pure to die like this. You have a little sister who adores you. Of all people, why? Couldn't fate chose someone else."
There is an old saying, the good dies young, but why does that have to be? Why does the boy who greets practically everyone with a smile have to be skewered through his heart? Why does the boy who goes out of his way to always help others have to bleed out? Why does the boy who is idolized by his little sister get to be the one who is on death's door?
It was at this moment that Rin noticed Shirou's feint breathing.
"Good, I can still save you," Rin said relieved before frowning, "I am sorry, father, but I am a bad girl."
She took out a pendant with magical energy that is equivalent to about ten years of her own magical energy.
It was her Hail Mary, and she was going to make sure just this once. Just this once, he will live.
"Oh boy, what happened?" I asked picking myself off the floor, "did I die and come back to life?"
It had been a few hours since my run-in with that green blur who dual wields lances. I guess the fellow didn't kill me like he thought after all.
I touched the place where the spear went through me. I couldn't help but feel a little different, but I figured it is because I am still regaining my bearings.
To my left was a red jewel pendant with a cross at the top.
"Whose jewelry is this?" I commented as I finally noticed the blood stains that covered my school uniform, "well whoever it belongs to. I've got to give it back to them, but I can do that first thing tomorrow morning."
"It's really late, and I doubt I hallucinated this whole thing. It would probably be best that I go home." I am really glad that neither Illya nor the old man were around. They don't need to know this happened. Cause if they ever figure out who did this, I am sure they won't be walking on this Earth much longer.
With that I casually walked home. The brisk early February air filled this eerie night, or morning. The streets were quiet, and empty. Guess it makes sense, lately there have been a lot of different "gas leaks". Honestly, I feel like that is complete bullshit. I am usually not to the one to believe in government psyops, but the unexplained murders, and all these "gas leaks". Really tend to make a guy question things a little bit.
Especially since I was just stabbed in the heart by a lance. A lance that was wielded by some guy who looks like he goes to certain nightclubs or something. After that I am willing to believe in anything.
The air tensed up as I entered my house. As expected, it was dark and empty which means that with luck neither Fuji-nee nor Sakura showed up for dinner. At least I can only hope.
I should probably take a bath, and then go to bed, and write off the last few hours as a bad dream. Just as I was about to go and grab my clothes, I ran into a nice little surprise.
Unfortunately, my luck dictates that this was not a surprise like the ones that kids have on Christmas Day when opening presents.
Rather this is the surprise that nightmares are made of, the man in green tights that uses a lance leaned against the wall of his house.
"Hello there," green tight man said, "Why didn't you die earlier? I was hoping to restore my honor, and dignity. Believe me I wish that I didn't have to kill you because killing you again will further soil my knight's honor."
"They why kill me? Can't we just call even?"
"My master is forcing me to do this against my will," green tight man shamefully divulged.
"Master? Look I know the year is 2004 and all, but that just sounds too kinky," I said as I grabbed the nearest thing that could be considered a weapon, a metal pipe. Thanks Fuji-nee.
"PLEASE JUST DIE ALREADY!" green tight man furiously yelled as he thrusts his lance towards me.
"Trace on, structure established, reinforcement complete. Come at me bro," I said as I blocked the lance with the reinforced metal pipe. After the lance grazed my shoulder, I decided my best course of action was to make a run for it. Anywhere but here would be a better option right now. Unfortunately, I was at the whelm of the man in tights he was fighting, cause let us be honest that is the only way I can describe him.
"You seem to be able to wield magecraft or something," green tight man said as he continued his assault on Shirou, "you might not be a servant, but you can hold your own boy."
"What's a servant?" I said in confusion.
"It doesn't matter. You are putting up a worthy fight," green tight man said with pride, "be happy you will die with honor."
"I'd rather not die," I said as I was thrusted through the window out into the yard like a ragdoll. This isn't good, I am getting backed into a corner right now. There are only so many blocks I can do against two lances you know.
Eventually I was forced into the shed. Well, the shed that doubles as my workshop, but a shed, nonetheless. Before long I was backed into a dusty corner with some boxes, and some chalk drawings I hadn't bothered to clean.
"Looks like the end is near for you," green tight guy said, "As thanks for restoring some of my honor, I'll let you die a quick death using my Noble Phantasm."
"What's a Noble Phantasm?" I asked, saying anything I could say to prolong my life.
"A dead man needs no explanation," green tight man said as he pointed one of his lances at me ready for the killing blow, "To think you might have even been the seventh. Farewell boy."
"What's a seventh?" I asked hoping to buy some more time.
"GÁE BUIDHE!"
"Oh shit! I don't wanna die like this!" I yelled as my hand begun to glow red, and the chalk drawing circle behind me started to glow a blueish color as well, "I refuse to die to such a colorful guy such as yourself!"
"Eh?" green tight man said taken by surprise for a second. The implication is rather clear to him now. If green tight man didn't stutter then perhaps, he could've killed me once and for all, but alas he did stutter.
"Summoning Charming!" A disembodied voice said. The two of us watched in awe as a figure started to materialize dancing to the music.
"Alarming, boom boom, waka waka, dance dance, CHARMING!" The disembodied voice sung, before the man that had materialized came into full view.
The moonlight reflected his more handsome features. His green eyes twinkled in the light that came from the windows. His blonde hair gently flowed with the night wind.
The light grey armor he wore dazzled underneath the gaze of the stars. Almost as if he was a guardian angel sent to protect me at the last second.
I was absolutely speechless. If he was a female, I am sure that I would've been absolutely enamored by his handsomeness. Hell, I am pretty sure I am enamored by his handsomeness right now.
He exudes a kingly aura much different than the aura that green tight man gave off, yet it was warm friendly aura.
His smile offers a sort of certainty. A certainty that I will survive the night, and his soft words only add to this feeling.
"I am Saber, and I am your servant! A servant that will protect you."
TO BE CONTINUED
A/N: Welcome to the actual end of the chapter. I thought it would be funny to throw a fake-out end close to the end, but I am not about to let this one die. So Shirou summoned his servant, and I bet you all know who this fellow is.
The King of Knights
The actual GOAT himself
The one the tags should reflect by name now.
Arthur Pendragon, King of the Britons.
Fair warning, I am sorely lacking in my mythology knowledge, espeically Arthurian mythology, so if I mess anything up. Please tell me. Also I am still trying to find the servants for the following, Assassin, & Berseker.
Map of who goes to who (Servant/Master):
Arthur (Saber)/ Shirou Emiya
Archer [REDACTED] / Rin Tohsaka
[REDACTED] Castor / [REDACTED] Emiya
[REDACTED] Rider/ [THIS ONE IS STILL UP TO DEBATE]
Lancer / [Those who know the source material know who this guy's Master is]
Sorry about the chapter being released late. I got too invested in Fate:Recast, one of the many fanfictions here on this okish site, that I ended up forgetting to write. Also I've been playing through Fate/stay night the visual novel, and I am at the beginning of the Fate Route now. Now y'all have probably noticed that I have included charatchers from other Fate timelines. Most specifically, Fate/Extra and Fate/Extra Last Encore. Last Encore was the third Fate series I watched after Fate/stay night, and Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works].
I hope for this to be one wild ride, and I hope y'all can stick around.

Great start to the fic
as for servant suggestions the Fuyuki grail can only summon Hassan-i-Sabbahs with REGEND being the only exception, so you could use Shining Star,Cursed arm,100 faces or serenity bc the first is too strong
for zerker and lancer i have no clue, Cu would be too unstable as zerker and lancer Cu is a soild pick ig, but if it's like servants changing than idk
A/N: Thank you very much. I very much forgot the Fuyuki Grail can only summon Hassan-i-Sabbahs. Though I have a feeling like that might not matter much in the long run. Turns out I fell naturally into the Cu Lancer route. I think I might end up with Serenity, but I'll play it by Master.

although writing in the first person is good it would be nice to write a little in the third person too as for servants the canonical ones from FSN are fine but maybe you could change the Hercules tela atalanta berserker she would get along well with llya since she protects the children
A/N: I tried writing third person in this chapter since for most of it. The focus is not on Shirou, and even during some of his parts I resorted to using third person. I hope I didn't mess up that last portion. Also I guess this is some mild spoilers, Illya will not have a planned Berserker servant this war. At least not at the beginning. Though I will give some consideration to Atalanta considering who I might give the Berseker servant to.
"Let us take this duel outside."
"Ugh, why do you out of all people have to get the Saber servant?"
"You're so cute!"
"My name is Kirei Kotomine, and what might your name be boy?"
"Rejoice, boy! Your wish will at last come true."
