Sorry if the footage dialogue looks and sounds exactly the same. Didn't have any patience to make revisions.
Later, Ellen sat comfortably in her chair as the audience settled down. The show's theme faded out, leaving a quiet, expectant atmosphere.
"Welcome back," Ellen began, flashing her signature smile. "So, as I mentioned earlier, a few hours ago, I had the absolute pleasure of taking a tour around the Island of Sodor, courtesy of the lovely Emily."
The audience erupted into cheers, and Emily, standing proudly near the stage, gave a gracious smile, clearly pleased by the recognition.
Ellen continued, "And let me tell you, we got plenty of footage thanks to one of our talented cameramen in one of her coaches. But here's the thing—it wasn't just me recording this tour. Oh no. Our producers, our staff, and a whole fleet of other camera people were hard at work. And Andy!" She turned her attention to her producer, Andy Lassner, who grinned sheepishly from the audience. "Andy, I'm sure you had a fantastic time too with Thomas, James, and Percy."
The audience chuckled as Andy nodded, clearly ready for whatever playful ribbing Ellen had in store.
"And of course, we can't forget about Annie and Clarabel, who were there every step of the way, making sure everything ran as smoothly as possible—and probably keeping Thomas in check too!"
The audience laughed warmly, and Annie and Clarabel exchanged proud smiles. Thomas gave a cheerful toot, clearly pleased with the mention.
Ellen leaned forward, her tone playful. "You know, Annie and Clarabel, you two might have a future in management. I mean, running a tour and keeping a cheeky engine like Thomas organized? That's some serious skill!"
The audience chuckled again, and Ellen straightened up. "But enough of me talking about it—why don't we show you what we captured?"
With that, the screen behind her lit up, ready to showcase the highlights of her Sodor adventure.
As the entertaining music played in the background, the screen displayed footage from Ellen's earlier tour of Sodor. The video began with a wide shot of Brendam Docks, bustling with activity as cranes lifted cargo, workers hurried about, and engines maneuvered freight cars.
The footage showed Ellen riding inside one of Emily's coaches as they arrived at the docks.
"Here we are, Ellen," Emily said, her voice full of enthusiasm. "This is Brendam Docks, one of the busiest places on Sodor. It's where a lot of the island's cargo is unloaded and sent to different parts of Sodor."
The camera captured the rhythmic movements of cranes and workers operating with precision. Cranky was shown in action, towering over the scene as he hoisted a massive container with ease.
"Wow, this place is so busy!" Ellen exclaimed from the footage. "I had no idea so much goes on here. And those cranes are huge!"
"Yes, Cranky's the one in charge of all the lifting," Emily explained proudly in the video. "He's been working here for years, though he can be a bit grumpy sometimes."
As if on cue, Cranky swung his crane arm to lift a heavy load, grumbling under his breath. "All this equipment, and now I've got to make sure it all gets where it needs to go," Cranky muttered. "They'd better appreciate all the work I do!"
Emily chuckled in the footage. "See? I told you. But when it comes down to it, Cranky's the best at what he does. He can lift almost anything!"
The camera zoomed in on Cranky as Ellen's voice from the footage asked, "That's Cranky? He looks like he means business!"
"Definitely," Emily replied with a grin. "He may not always be cheerful, but he always gets the job done."
"Hey, Cranky!" Emily called out in the video, pulling to a stop beside the towering crane. "Meet Ellen. Ellen DeGeneres!"
Cranky paused mid-swing, his large crane arm frozen in place. His gruff voice echoed across the docks as he slowly lowered his load, turning his attention to the coach.
"Ellen DeGeneres, huh?" Cranky said, his tone skeptical but curious. "So you're the one bringing all this fuss to Sodor, huh?"
Ellen waved cheerfully from the footage. "That's me! Nice to meet you, Cranky," she said warmly. "I've heard a lot about you! And I must say, I'm impressed by how much you do around here."
Cranky let out a slow groan, swinging his crane arm slightly. "Yeah, yeah. I do all the heavy lifting around here. It's what I do."
Emily smiled in the video. "He sure is. Cranky's the best when it comes to lifting and moving things around here. Without him, the docks would be in chaos!"
Cranky gave a half-smile, his arm swinging as if mimicking a shrug. "Just don't expect me to smile for the cameras," he muttered, though a twinkle in his eye suggested he didn't entirely mind the attention.
Back in the outdoor viewing area, James chuckled. "Classic Cranky!"
"Always trying to act tough," Henry added with a smile.
"That's our Cranky," Gordon commented confidently.
The screen then cut to the Steamworks, where Victor rolled forward, his voice filled with enthusiasm.
"Ah, welcome to the Steamworks!" he greeted warmly. "I see we have a special visitor today! Emily, who is your charming passenger?"
Emily puffed up proudly. "This is Ellen DeGeneres. She's here to film a special episode on Sodor. We're showing her all the wonderful places on the island."
"Hola, Ellen!" Victor said. "It is an honor to have you here. The Steamworks is where we keep all the engines running smoothly. Any repair, any adjustment—this is the place to be!"
Kevin, the bright yellow crane, was practically bouncing with excitement as he approached. "Hey, Ellen!" he exclaimed, nearly tripping over his own eagerness. "Wow, a real celebrity in the Steamworks! I hope you like it here. If you need anything lifted, I'm your guy!"
In his excitement, Kevin swung his hook too quickly, knocking over a stack of spare parts with a loud clang. Nuts and bolts scattered across the floor.
"Kevin!" Victor scolded, his voice sharp but not without a touch of exasperation.
"Sorry, boss!" Kevin replied sheepishly, scrambling to pick up the fallen parts with his hook.
The audience chuckled at the familiar, playful moment.
Ellen laughed, clearly entertained. "Don't worry, Kevin. Even in Hollywood, accidents happen all the time."
Victor gave a dramatic sigh but quickly returned to his usual cheerful self. "As I was saying, Ellen, we handle all sorts of repairs here. The engines depend on us, and we make sure they're always ready for whatever the railway needs. It's a lot of work, but we love it."
"Well, it shows," Ellen said, grinning. "You're doing an amazing job. And Kevin, don't worry, you're great on camera—clangs and all!"
Kevin, flustered but pleased, paused his hook mid-air and attempted to gather the scattered parts. "Aw, thanks, Ellen. That means a lot!"
The cameraman panned over the busy, industrious Steamworks, showcasing the various workstations. Victor, ever the gracious host, gestured around proudly.
"As you can see," he continued, "we can handle anything—broken wheels, dented boilers, even repainting! Every engine leaves here looking and feeling like new."
Ellen turned to Emily with a smile of admiration. "You weren't kidding, Emily. The Steamworks really is the heart of Sodor."
"It sure is," Emily agreed. "And Victor and Kevin make sure everything runs like clockwork."
"Aw, thanks, Emily," Kevin said, still a little flustered as he worked to set things back in order.
The footage continued to capture the bustling work environment of the Steamworks, highlighting the tireless efforts of Victor and Kevin as they kept Sodor's engines running smoothly.
The screen transitioned to footage of Thomas, James, and Percy picking up the show's staff, producers, and audience members, with Annie and Clarabel warmly welcoming passengers aboard. The cheerful scene showed Thomas steaming into the station with Annie and Clarabel, while James and Percy followed closely behind with their own coaches, all bustling with activity as passengers boarded.
"Hey, that's us!" Clarabel exclaimed, her tone brimming with excitement.
"And didn't we look splendid that day?" Percy added.
"Oh, absolutely!" James agreed.
Thomas whistled proudly on screen, his cheerful toot echoing through the station as the camera captured the engines preparing for the journey.
The audience chuckled again, clearly entertained by the charming personalities of the engines. Annie and Clarabel, not ones to miss out, hummed a cheerful tune as the footage shifted to the passengers settling in, waving through the coach windows.
"Everyone looked so happy to be aboard," Annie noted, her voice warm with nostalgia.
"Of course they were," Clarabel replied. "Traveling with us is always a delightful experience!"
The footage showed the engines whistling in unison as they puffed away from the station, steam billowing into the sunny sky. The cheerful music in the background perfectly matched the excitement of the scene.
At Ffarquhar Quarry, the air was filled with the sounds of grinding machinery and the occasional puff of steam from the engines working tirelessly. Mavis, the feisty diesel engine, was shunting trucks into position while Bill and Ben, the mischievous twin engines, busied themselves hauling loaded trucks to the siding.
The activity paused when Emily arrived, pulling into the quarry with a cheerful whistle. Riding along with her, Ellen leaned out, shielding her eyes from the sun.
"Wow," she said, her voice full of awe. "This place is huge!"
Mavis rolled up to the platform. "Hello, Emily," she greeted, noticing Ellen. "Oh! And who's this?"
"This is Ellen DeGeneres," Emily said. "She's visiting Sodor to film a special episode of her show."
"A show? On television?" Mavis asked. "That's exciting! Though I must admit, the quarry might not be as glamorous as what you're used to, Ellen."
Ellen grinned. "Are you kidding? This place is fascinating! It's so different from the sets I'm used to. We don't have anything like this back in Los Angeles."
Ben tilted his funnel thoughtfully. "Do they have quarries there too?"
Ellen laughed. "Not like this. In Los Angeles, the quarries on TV are usually built as props on a set."
Bill and Ben exchanged baffled glances.
Mavis chuckled. "Well, this quarry is as real as it gets. We may not have bright lights, but we've got hardworking engines and lots of rocks."
Ellen nodded as she watched the trucks being filled with stone. "Honestly, this is just as exciting as any Hollywood set. Plus, it's not every day you meet engines like you!"
Ben puffed proudly. "We are pretty amazing, aren't we?"
"Don't get carried away," Mavis teased. "Would you like to see how we load the stone?"
"I'd love to!" Ellen said.
The cameraman captured the process as Mavis guided a loaded truck onto a siding and Bill and Ben expertly maneuvered their trains into place.
"This stone goes all over Sodor for construction projects," Mavis explained. "It keeps the railway running smoothly."
Ellen watched with fascination. "It's a lot like a TV production. Everyone has a role, and it only works when everyone does their part. It's impressive!"
Bill grinned. "Does that mean we're stars now?"
"Definitely," Ellen said with a wink. "Hollywood could learn a thing or two from Sodor."
As the footage ended and faded to the show's graphic logo and background, the audience applauded, and the engines whistled enthusiastically. Ellen smiled brightly. "And I kept my word about Bill and Ben being stars, along with all of Sodor."
The crowd chuckled warmly at her remark.
"Of course," Ellen continued, "I have to give a huge thank you to Emily for being such an amazing guide around this beautiful island. And for letting me explain TV, movie companies, and a little bit of showbiz to her and everyone else we met along the way."
Emily's smile widened as the audience clapped again, and a few faint whistles could be heard in the background.
"We have a special guest on this show—stay tuned, we'll be back!" Ellen announced with enthusiasm.
The audience erupted into cheers and the engines whistled as the show's lively theme music played once more, filling the atmosphere with energy.
