The city of Levincia buzzed with life, its vibrant lights and colorful architecture reflecting the bustling energy of its residents. At the heart of this electric town stood the Levincia Gym, a hub not just for Pokémon battles but also for entertainment, thanks to its Gym Leader: Iono, the self-proclaimed "Supercharged Streamer."
Ash stepped into the Gym, Pikachu perched on his shoulder, his curiosity piqued. He had heard about Iono from the locals, especially her fame as a live-streaming star. However, he hadn't anticipated what awaited him inside.
"Helloooooo, Levincia! Iono here!"
Ash jumped as the energetic Gym Leader zipped into the room, her colorful outfit and oversized Magnemite-like hair clips making her stand out like a live-action cartoon. She held a microphone attached to her headset and twirled in place, addressing an unseen audience.
"And guess what, my ion-charged fans? Today's guest is none other than the World Champion himself! Give it up for Ash Ketchum!"
Ash blinked in confusion as Iono turned her gleaming eyes on him, holding the microphone close. Pikachu tilted its head, just as puzzled as its Trainer.
"Wait, what? Me?" Ash asked, pointing to himself.
"Yes, YOU!" Iono beamed, practically bouncing on her heels. "You're the Monarch, right? The strongest Trainer in the whole wide world? Of course, my stream's gotta have you on it! Not every day you meet someone this awesome, ya know!"
Ash rubbed the back of his neck, suddenly feeling self-conscious. "Uh, thanks, I guess? But I'm not really used to live streaming or anything…"
"Aw, don't be shy, champ!" Iono said, waving off his concerns. "It'll be fun! My chat's gonna go wild for this collab!" She gestured dramatically toward the Gym's elaborate streaming setup—a colorful stage lined with LED panels, cameras, and screens displaying a lively chat feed.
Pikachu chuckled, nudging Ash with its tail as if to encourage him.
"Alright, fine," Ash sighed. "I'll give it a shot."
"That's the spirit!" Iono clapped her hands, grinning ear to ear. "Let's get this party started!"
Moments later, Ash found himself standing awkwardly on the stage, with Pikachu at his side. Iono, in contrast, was in her element, addressing the camera with the enthusiasm of someone who lived and breathed streaming.
"Alrighty, my electro-lights! We're here with Ash Ketchum, the Monarch himself! Say hi to the chat, Ashy-boy!"
Ash gave a small wave, his cheeks turning pink. "Uh, hi, everyone."
The chat feed on the screen exploded with messages:
OMG, it's THE Ash Ketchum!
Pikachu is soooo cute!
This is gonna be legendary!
Iono leaned closer to the camera, winking. "We're gonna put the champ through a series of electrifying challenges today, so stick around! But first, let's see how well he knows Electric-types!"
She turned to Ash with a playful grin. "Okay, champ, quick quiz time! What's the base stat total of a Rotom-Wash form?"
Ash blinked. "Uh… what's a base stat total?"
The chat erupted into laughing emojis.
"Classic answer!" Iono giggled. "You're a battle genius, but not a stat geek—love it! Now let's move on to the real fun: a Pokémon battle!"
The livestream quickly shifted focus as Iono sent out her Bellibolt, the cheerful, chubby Electric-type bouncing onto the stage. "Say hi to the fans, Bellibolt!"
"Belli-booo!" Bellibolt crooned, its rubbery body sparking lightly with electricity.
Ash grinned, the nervousness melting away as the familiar thrill of battle took over. "Alright, Pikachu, you're up!"
"Pikaaa-chuuu!" Pikachu leapt into the fray, sparks dancing from its cheeks.
The battle was fast-paced and thrilling, with Pikachu and Bellibolt exchanging electrifying moves. Ash's strategies and Pikachu's agility dazzled the chat, while Iono kept up her lively commentary.
"Whoa! Did you see that Quick Attack? This guy's on another level!" Iono cheered.
In the end, Pikachu emerged victorious with a well-timed Thunderbolt, leaving Bellibolt fainted but still cheerful.
As the battle concluded, Iono turned to the camera, dramatically clutching her microphone. "Well, folks, that was an electrifying match! Big thanks to Ash for being such a good sport. Give it up for him and Pikachu!"
The chat exploded with praise and fan art requests for Ash and Pikachu.
Ash smiled, scratching Pikachu's head. "That was pretty fun. Thanks for having me, Iono."
"Anytime, champ!" Iono said, extending a hand for a high-five. "You're welcome on my stream anytime you're in Paldea!"
As Ash left the Gym, he couldn't help but laugh. "Man, I don't think I've ever been part of anything like that before."
"Pika pika," Pikachu agreed.
