Hello every one; here is the next chapter! And I do hope the length is not a problem. I wrote this a few weeks ago, before the current chapter of One Piece (Manga), and as you may know, a lot of info is being dumped on us!

So, I have to be careful what I write and all of that! But hopefully, with the next chapters coming up, we will get a lot of more answers!

Now, here it is the next schedule!

-Harriet Potter: The Demon Empress (One Chapter)

-Overlord: The Demon-Who-Lived? (Two chapters of smut fanfiction, it's almost over. I want to get done with it, so it will open an opportunity for other work!)

-Dragon Age: The Demonic Age (I am inspired!)

Chapter 14

The view, to put it simply, was absolutely breathtaking. Galadriel couldn't help but be in awe as she gazed at the majestic clouds before her. The Holyland of Mary Geoise, in its own peculiar way, brought her a sense of solace. She could understand why they had chosen this location above all others. It wasn't just about the historical significance or its importance in the grand scheme of things. It was more about the feeling of superiority that pervaded the elders and Imu, a toxic mindset that had consumed them.

Galadriel pondered whether, if she were in their position, she too would take measures to prevent others from attaining such heights. It was abundantly evident that she would be a hypocrite and a liar if she denied it. If Galadriel had been in Imu's shoes, she might have done the same, if not worse. However, she now possessed greater awareness and found herself merely a bystander in a game that had unfolded over centuries. All the wars, the things down below, and what happened. But now, all Galadriel could do now was observe.

"Yet, I can't help but wonder, what are they waiting for?" Galadriel whispered to herself. The five elders appeared to be engaged in their own little game. Among them, Saint Jaygarcia and Saint Sheperd Ju Peter seemed to be vying for Galadriel's support. This was quite peculiar, considering that Galadriel had a feeling that the youngest of the elders, Saint Sheperd, was not exactly who he portrayed himself to be.

Could it be that he is acting against Imu's wishes and orders? No—that can't be. Galadriel thought.

Galadriel didn't consider Saint Sheperd to be a betrayer, not at all. However, it was evident that the Five Elders mostly acted independently, each with their own hidden motives. Galadriel pondered whether Imu was aware of their secretive plans. She sighed deeply, realising that there was nothing more for her to accomplish in Mary Geoise. She had made her decision, and now it was time to accept the consequences, even if it meant waiting until someone disrupted her current situation.

And she was more than sure that someone would eventually force her hand.

"There you are," Galadriel exclaimed as she turned around, only to find Saint Jaygarcia standing right behind her. His intense gaze met hers, those eyes of his filled with an insatiable curiosity. It wasn't a sexual desire but rather a scientific fascination. It seemed that Saint Jaygarcia yearned to unravel every secret about her—how she possessed her extraordinary abilities and the origin of her existence. One couldn't help but ponder the consequences his relentless curiosity might bring in the times to come.

"Saint Jaygarcia, a pleasure to meet you again," Galadriel said, as the saint nodded at her as he simply walked next to her; both then glanced at the clouds before them.

"I heard you're going to Marineford again," he asked.

"Yes, I am."

"May I ask why?" Saint Jaygarcia asked.

"Truth be told, I feel a need—a curiosity, if you may know, to see what's going to happen there," Galadriel replied as the elder hummed deeply.

"Curiosity, you say. I understand it. However, you should remember your words," he said as Galadriel chuckled.

"I do. Like I said, I will not intervene. I gave my word."

"What should I trust your words?" Saint Jaygarcia asked, and Galadriel quickly noticed that he used "I" instead of "we". A very peculiar way to phrase it.

"You offend me, noble lord. What do you think I am? Human?" Galadriel mocked, and without missing a beat, the elder laughed. "Goodness, I made an elder laugh. I should be rewarded."

Saint Jaygarcia scoffed with a strange tone of voice, yet his eyes lingered in the view before him. "You should take our offer, then. You will gain nothing from waiting for him. And when the time comes, when it shows up again. We would be ready for it."

Galadriel hummed deeply, deciding not to reply nor to say more about it. "It will happen eventually, and we all know it. Would you sink the world again?" Galadriel asked as Saint Jaygarcia simply hummed and looked down below the Red Line.

"If it comes to pass, we should do what we must."

Galadriel came to the realisation that these individuals possessed the capacity for committing genocide, acting with little contemplation, as if it were just another Tuesday. What made it even more distressing was the recognition that, if she were in their position, she too would be inclined to engage in such behaviour as well. So, she could not downright judge them. Or maybe she could, but that wasn't the point.

"How long would it take to reconstruct everything?" Galadriel asked, and Saint Jaygarcia hummed deeply.

"A few decades. A hundred years would be needed for things to go back to almost normality."

"It appears that you have it all planned out," Galadriel joked.

"It's a topic we often discuss, and it wouldn't be the first time," he simply replied.

"Indeed," Galadriel murmured as a familiar figure appeared before them. "Kizaru, how have you been?" she inquired, her tone filled with concern. The admiral let out a heavy sigh before responding.

"Sengoku gave me a mouthful," Kizaru replied with his peculiar lazy demeanour. "He and Sakazuki wanted me to go all in against the Kaido and Big Mom's pirates. Give me a break~."

"You did good," Saint Jaygarcia replied. "However, Sengoku seems to forget that not everything can be resolved through force. It would have been a disastrous mistake to have two additional Emperors of the Sea on our side of the wall."

"Sorry for being popular," Galadriel added with a gentle tease, causing Kizaru and the elder to scoff slightly.

"In anycase, I am here to take you to Marineford~ I wonder what do you want there," Kizaru asked as Galadriel shrugged.

"Doing some tourism. I want to explore a little bit," Galadriel replied as Kizaru glanced at the elder with a very confused look on his face.

"And you've permission for that?" Kizaru asked.

"She has reached an agreement with the World Government," Saint Jaygarcia replied. "As long as she refrains from interfering, we won't take any action against her." Kizaru simply hummed in response and shrugged. Whatever the terms of that agreement were, they held no relevance for him.

"I see," Kizaru replied.

"I will be on my best behaviour," Galadriel replied with a smile. "Moreover, I am aware of my unwelcome presence here. I do not wish to offend the hospitality extended by the nobles, but being constantly watched by the God's Knight is rather...troublesome."

Galadriel tilted her head, her gaze fixated on a distant horizon where a group of shadows seemed poised for action. Among them stood a young girl, her eyes possessing an intriguing peculiarity and a man with fiery red hair. Two others were present, unfamiliar to Galadriel. Yet, an unmistakable air of hostility permeated the scene.

Who is that man? I remember Roger telling me about this apprentice's origins—could that man be—? Galadriel decided to think about that later.

"You can't blame them. They are here for a reason," the elder said.

"I understand," Galadriel said with a smile. "So, let's go, Kizaru. I don't wish to make dear Sengoku wait any longer."

"I doubt he is waiting for you," Kizaru replied.

"Yeah, but his pet is cute," Galadriel said as she gave Saint Jaygarcia one last look. "I'll think about our previous conversation, Saint Jaygarcia."

"Good, if you change your mind. Let me know," that's all he said.

Galadriel nodded while she walked away, acknowledging that she wouldn't be able to change her mind. However, she found it beneficial to leave a metaphorical carrot dangling above their heads. By doing so, she ensured that they would remain unaware of her future plans.

As Galadriel departed from Mary Geoise, a thought lingered in her mind: did the Elders possess an ancient weapon? And if they did, did they possess the necessary means to activate it? Galadriel was uncertain, just as Roger was uncertain about it. However, she strongly suspected that they possessed at least one. If that were indeed the case, it could prove to be dangerous for her.

Smoker removed the cigar from his mouth and couldn't help but sneer at the scene in front of him. Marineford had been transformed into a massive fortress, not that it wasn't already, but now, with the abundance of marines, warships, and sheer might, one couldn't help but ponder if they were gearing up for some war. After all, even the civilians had been evacuated from this location.

There was something in the air, and it wasn't the smoke of his cigar but something more tense and precarious.

"I can smell it, this scent," Smoker muttered.

"Captain Smoker, did you say something?" inquired Tashigi. Smoker merely cast a concerned glance at his protégé but remained silent for a few seconds.

"Nothing, just thinking about what's about to happen soon," Smoker replied as they walked down the busy street where marines appeared to be carrying ammo and supplies.

"Do you think it will happen?" Tashigi asked, a hint of nervousness clear in her voice.

After a brief pause, Smoker came to the realisation that there were no words he could say to calm her down. "Whitebeard is the kind of man who would never let one of his crew members be executed without a fight. He will come, and he will bring every one of his allies with him."

Tashigi took a deep gulp, her breath trembling as she released it. Her grip tightened around her sword while Smoker, with a deep sigh, observed her unease. He wasn't one to offer hugs or physical comfort, but he couldn't ignore the anxiety radiating from his subordinate. Truth be told, Smoker felt a twinge of nervousness himself. They were on the brink of waging war against a Sea Emperor, a renowned figure of mythical proportions. The battle ahead would be brutal, resulting in the loss of many lives.

Only a fool would not feel fear, and Smoker was not a fool. So, with a gentle pat on the back, he looked at Tashigi.

"You'll do well. Just remember your training; don't try to be a hero, and you'll come out alive," Smoker advised. Although his words were somewhat blunt, they did have an impact on the young marine.

"Thank you, Captain Smoker. But you're horrible at cheering people."

"Shut up, idiot."

Smoker muttered under his breath, but before he could continue speaking, a ship arrived at Marineford. It didn't take long before he spotted Kizaru walking down the ship's ramp. To his surprise, there was someone standing next to him, a person he had seen on wanted posters before. It was the Lunarian, and, oddly enough, she seemed to have ditched her sea stones. It was a truly peculiar sight, without a doubt.

"It's that—?" Tashigi gasped as she saw the tall Lunarian walk past them.

"Don't stare, idiot," Smoker mumbled, as he could only watch the Lunarian and admiral go, he could only wonder what would happen soon enough.

Galadriel found amusement in the stares directed towards her. It was not the first time she had been watched, but it seemed that additional marines had arrived at Marineford. However, amidst the enjoyment, her encounter with the elders and Imu reminded her that she had spent a significant amount of time in Mary Geoise. Nearly two days, if her memory served her right. This realisation indicated that Luffy would likely have reached Amazon Lily in a very short time.

I must speak with Hancock soon. I don't want her to kill Luffy. Also, that other Lunarian and the other group of pirates. I do hope they are close by. I'll send a messenger to them; having them as potential allies could help me in the long run, especially if I made enemies of the World government. I think their assistance would help me greatly if the worst comes to pass. What's a little more chaos?

As Galadriel hummed softly, her gaze fell upon a vast execution grounds nestled within the walls of Marineford. The sight intrigued her, for it seemed purposefully selected, evoking a deep frown on Galadriel's face. Why all this meticulous preparation for an execution? I wonder who that person could be. It must be someone important. She pondered.

"Kizaru, who is going to die?" Galadriel asked as the admiral hummed deeply.

"A pirate from Whitebeard's crew," Kizaru replied nonchalantly.

"Whitebeard?" Galadriel asked. "What a fun name. But are you expecting him to fight? Just for one member of his crew?"

"Whitebeard is a man who considers all of his crew members as family, which is why he will undoubtedly join the battle to liberate this individual."

Galadriel silently nodded in agreement with herself. She couldn't help but acknowledge that if any member of her family or her friends from Nazarick were faced with the same dire circumstances as the unfortunate man about to be executed, she would undoubtedly fight to save them. It was after all, a motto of Nazarick.

"I see, he appears to be quite the man," Galadriel mumbled as Kizaru only glanced at her.

"He is," Kizaru said, and Galadriel wasn't sure if he was being condescending or if he truly saw Whitebeard with respect.

Galadriel made her way towards the location where she believed she would locate Sengoku. As expected, the Fleet Admiral was present, but he wasn't the only one. Alongside him sat an elderly man, shamelessly munching on rice crackers. Despite his age, he exuded a vitality that caught Galadriel's attention.

"Oh? You came here, that was fast," Sengoku stated as the other man glanced at her.

"Yes, I have had quite a chat with the elders. It was a very positive conversation," Galadriel replied, indicating that she was no longer wearing sea stones.

"Mm, I was notified to put your bounty on hold until further notice and that we should refrain from attacking you in any way," Sengoku replied, as his eyes narrowed at her.

"Thank you. I don't wish to be hunted down," Galadriel replied with a smile. At least not now. Galadriel looked at the old man and tilted her head, watching with mild interest the old marine, who appeared to look at her with the same intense eyes.

"What are you looking at, eh?" He asked with a boisterous tone of voice. It didn't sound angry or insulting, but more amused than anything.

"Mm, you look familiar," Galadriel mumbled. "Are you, perhaps, Garp the fist?

"Bwahaha! Yep, that's me. I really love that old nickname," Garp chuckled in response while Galadriel hummed along. It seemed that he was indeed the man Roger had spoken so highly of. His lively and unabashed demeanour, booming voice, and apparent disregard for Sengoku's evident stress all matched the descriptions she had heard.

"So, you're the Lunarian, huh? I've heard you've been causing quite a stir in the World Government lately. I have to admit, it was hilarious watching them all go crazy because you know what the One Piece is!" Garp exclaimed boisterously, while Sengoku could only sneer in response. Galadriel, however, couldn't help but join in the laughter. Garp truly was quite the character.

"I thank you for those kind words," Galadriel added as she sat down next to Garp without much care. "They can be quite uptight! They can't take a joke, and don't let me start with the elders! They are so—vexing!"

"Bwahahaha! You don't have to tell me anything! I know!" Garp replied with a laugh.

"Hey, you two don't start talking about them like that in front of me!" Sengoku hissed angrily. "You understand you're insulting a world noble?! That could get you both to Impel Down!"

Galadriel and Garp wore expressions of pure boredom and childishness, as if Sengoku was nothing more than an old man, spoiling their fun. It was even funnier to see both of them reacting like that.

"Can you believe him? He is your boss. Isn't him just too annoying to deal with?" Galadriel mumbled with a sigh.

"You tell me we used to have the same rank; now he can order me around!" Garp whined loudly, and Sengoku growled as he truly wished to smash his head on the table.

Things would not get any better, especially by tomorrow morning.

"So, what's the deal with all these preparations? I can't help but notice the presence of numerous marines and powerful individuals. Is there a specific reason for this?" Galadriel inquired, immediately noticing the shift in Garp's demeanour. Garp's smirk swiftly disappeared, leaving behind a solemn gaze.

"There's no need to hide it, especially since you specifically asked to be present for this. We are going to carry out an execution involving a highly dangerous pirate. The event will be broadcast worldwide," Sengoku declared, prompting a nod of understanding from Galadriel. "So every pirate would think twice what will happen when defying justice!"

Galadriel contemplated the cause behind Garp's troubled appearance as if he had something to express but chose to remain silent. Galadriel swiftly noticed this, which only heightened her curiosity further.

"I assume as much, but what sort of pirate would cause such—scrutiny? I heard that this Whitebeard would try to stop the execution, would it happen?" Galadriel asked.

"I have no doubt he will arrive," Sengoku replied. "That's the man he is."

"And who might this pirate be? What is his name?" inquired Galadriel, her curiosity piqued. Little did she know the name she was about to hear would catch her completely off guard.

"Portgas D. Ace."
